I returned here hesitantly for a service appointment after receiving a call from the manager offering a complimentary oil change and "wanting to win back your business" after they lost my keys 2 years ago during an oil change. Major mistake! I set an 11:30 am appointment and upon arriving was informed it would be a minimum 1 to 1 1/2 hour wait until they could start working on the car. Colby, the manager, could not provide any sound rationale nor helpful reasoning for why the long wait when an appointment was made and confirmed prior to arrival. His primary argument was perplexing: "We treat walk-ins and appointments the same, so everybody has that long of a wait." When asked what the point of an appointment was (due to appointments not getting priority), he said making one does not make a difference, in the future I should just walk in. This is different procedurally than my experience at two other local Ford dealerships where they honor your appointment time and seldom do you wait more than 15 minutes for service to begin. Hope this saves some the aggravation and increases awareness for how appointments are regarded here.

My husband and I purchased a 2020 Ford Transit 350 extended van from Plantation Ford on August 31st 2020. The van was brand new with 7 miles on the odometer. The sale process was amazing. Our salesman, Duane, went above and beyond for us and got us financed and out of the dealership in record time. But sadly, all good things must come to a end. Driving the van home, the dashboard lights came on for the ABS, and the driver rear tire started smoking and was so hot it was glowing red. We immediately called Duane and the next morning they had the truck towed back to the dealership for service. Come to find out the rear main seal was bad and they replaced it, we got the van back within a week. However, at no point did they ever offer my husband a loaner vehicle while his brand new 7 mile van was being worked on. After spending close to $50k on a brand new vehicle and not even having possession of it for an hour, you would think they would at least do that! NOPE! We got the van back home from service on a Saturday, my husband took the van to work on Monday morning, his job was in a high-rise condo that day, he looked out the window at the van and noticed a nice "Orange" sized dent in the roofline. Conveniently located where the overhead bars of a vehicle lift would hit the top of the van. I immediately sent a email and photos to Duane. It took him 2 days to even respond to me! Needless to say the service department is not taking responsibility for the damage!! Now this is more time and money out of our pockets to repair damage that we didn't cause. All Duane said to me was that he would send me the information to "Dent Wizard". Almost a month later and I'm still waiting for him to send me that info. You would think after spending this kind of money on a BRAND NEW VAN that your time, money, and the fact that you have been extremely inconvenienced from the time you left the dealership, would at least be acknowledged. At the very least, an apology would have been nice. This just goes to show that it's all about money and customer service doesn't matter. Buyer beware!

Tried to purchase a 2018 Ford F-150 and the salesman Harold was great and very nice and professional. He wanted to make a deal but 2x we tried to get the sales manager to negotiate the price and he would not budge even though the truck was over priced by $3,000 and we were only asking for $1,500 difference and we had purchased 2 brand new vehicles from this dealer in the past. You would think that if we were a loyal customers that they would negotiate, but the sales manager would not budge because he cared more about getting top dollar than making a sale with a loyal customer who brings their vehicles there for all service needs.

You can't go wrong at Plantation Ford! I had another great experience here leasing my new Ford Escort. This is the second time leading an Escort and I couldn't be happier! I LOVE the car! Jim Gormly, once again, made me a great deal and gave me everything I asked for and more in my new Ford! The service I received could not have been better. They are not intimidating, they are friendly and honest and make you comfortable! What more could you want? Oh yeah......I was in and out of the dealership in less than 3 hours! I'll be back!

On a Friday evening, I found the truck I was looking for on the Ford website. The truck was at Plantation Ford. I filled in the request for a special In ternet price and was contacted the next morning by Jim Gormly, who I highly recommend. I gave Jim the price I was looking to pay for the truck, and after a couple of calls back and forth, we cam to an agreement. I took my trade in later in the afternoon and was given a satisfactory offer for it, so concluded all the necessary paperwork within about an hour. There were a couple of other options that the dealership is installing for me, so I expect to pick up the new truck in a couple of days. I would recommend Plantation Ford, and salesman Jim Gormly highly to anybody looking for a new Ford!

Paul Sullivan went over and beyond helping me choose the right truck for me, even staying late to make the deal happen. This man has the patience of a saint. Dealership was closed, lights off and he sat in the parking lot with me showing me all the technology my new F150 has. We went to Autonation Ford in Ft Lauderdale and we were just there looking for a new car and our salesman didn't know the front from the back of the car. We had a few questions about the most basic things anyone would ask and the only think he could answer he lied about. We asked the gas mileage and was told over 40mpg and then when we looked at the window sticker it was nowhere near that. We just wanted to come in and buy a fusion and get it over with. This is why people HATE shopping for a car. The price wasn't so important because we have a Z plan but at least we are now happy with our purchase from Plantation Ford. Thank you Plantation Ford.

I came in to the beautiful Plantation Ford dealership looking for a lease on a new truck. I could not have had a better experience. From the beautiful facilities to the kind and extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff. At no point throughout the entire time there did I ever feel the dreaded "car salesman push". This is our 3rd lease, and this was by far the easiest transaction ever! Jim Gormley walked us thru every step of the process. Our son wanted a specific color car (Escape), and Jim found us one at a fantastic price. We were able to get a 2017 car (with all the bells and whistles), in our price range. We had talked to 2 other dealerships, and they didn't want to make any type of deal with us. We kept calling around, and we were lucky that we found Jim. Our son had to drive his leased vehicle from the Coast to Plantation to complete this deal, but it was well worth the drive...

I went there to buy a car and left a deposit because I wanted my girlfriend to see it first. They made her wait for 45 minutes and never let her get in the car. They just drove it up to show her the remote start and the trunk. That was a year ago. I purchased a mustang from another dealer and had to go in and sign to get my money back. Last week I went in for an oil change and again, very unfriendly service all around. Now today I called to see if they carried touch up paint that I need and the guy in the phone was rude when I first called and said I need the VIN number. Ok, no big deal. But when I called back a few hours later he was excessively rude again, said he never spoke to me and, in his words, "never told me a thing". Ok, no need to be a jerk. He then said he would have to order it and have it prepaid for. He then told me other dealers that carry it close to the area but at no point asked if I wanted to come in and pay for it so it could be ordered. For such a newly renovated dealer I would think they would want to attract business, not drive it away. It's the closest one to my home but I guess they don't want customers. Worst dealer I have ever seen in my life.

Jim Gormly has earned this commendation. I started working with Jim in early April 2016. Having read the Car and Driver reports for years on the Mustang I decided to purchase the car. The Mustang I was looking for was not in inventory at Plantation Ford nor for that matter at the other dealers.With Jim's help I decided on a Mustang GT coupe premium with all options. I found Jim to be honest, positive, professionally very knowledgeable, and a pleasure to due business with. Over the following weeks Jim always provided me with manufacturing status by email or phone. Jim was always very supportive to my requests to be introduced to several Plantation Ford team members. I have never had a more positive relationship purchasing autos in inventory or special order.

My vehicle has been at Plantation Ford for over 45 days, progressive insurance was out there 3 days after my accident. I was told the repair would take 2 weeks. I called after the 2 weeks expired and I have been told next week every week since the 2 weeks have expired. My rental coverage only covers me for 30 days. Called again on the 28th and guess what I was told? " next week " so not only have they been lying to me about the completion date I am out for all the additional days for my rental. Because of the poor service I am out between $500 to $600 in the additional rental fees!!! They have taken advantage of me because I am a female. They think it's a joke. It was minor body work. I have had to cancel summer vacation plans with my kids because they can't get the vehicle done. My husband bought 3 F250's from them and you would think that would help!!! NO!!! They didn't even offer to pay for the additional days for the rental. I am very disappointed in them and mostly myself for not listening to everyone for telling not to take it there. I figured it's a Ford and Ford would be the best one to fix it. I should have taken my Ford Edge to sawgrass Fors where everyone said I should have taken it. Hopefully the review will save someone else all the aggravation and additional money and take their vehicle to Sawgrass Ford.

My brand new 2016 Ford Transit cargo van, purchased at Plantation Ford, on 12/31/15, broke down, due to a faulty throttle body, after only 4,000 miles on the odometer. The dealership did what they could to help me, but the replacement part was backordered at Ford. I was provided with a temporary vehicle, while my van was on the lot, awaiting parts. I am thankful for that. However, Ford could not loan me a vehicle of equal size and capability (another full-size cargo van). I bought the van, because I need that size vehicle for my business. I had to rent a van myself, from U-Haul, for several days, at my own expense. I think Ford should figure out a way to provide a vehicle of equal size and capability, to a person in my situation, when my brand new van broke down, due to faulty original parts. I appreciate that the dealership did everything they could to help me, while they waited several weeks, for the replacement parts to come in from Ford.

I went to service my car (Mind you) i dropped it there 9 am its now 3pm and the stupid lady they have had my service rep has done nothing to my car didnt event moved it to the back this is not the first time i had problems with this lady now my car is still no done so i missed todays work and is going to have to missed tommorow to becase of nothing had been done yet just for a simple (Axle) i really dont like this dealership i think that they are very rude and have bad custormer service every time i cone here

I purchased parking sensors online and had them installed at Plantation Ford. Nicholas Bates, the Accessories Manager was very helpful in making sure that the parts were installed quickly and properly. The showroom and waiting area are brand new. Plenty of space to sit and wait. The wait was made more comfortable by the high speed internet. I was able to work without any issues. I walked away feeling that Plantation Ford is very professional and invests in technology to make the customer experience more pleasant.

We had been shopping for a new vehicle for a couple of weeks. One dealership we went in to sign the deal and the closer, finance person was so rude and condescending we left. It had been a complete nightmare until we decided to go to Plantation Ford. What a nice experience!!! I went to "look" at the new 2015 Expedition. I had researched for months and had found the exact vehicle that I wanted on the internet and it was at Plantation Ford. Upon my arrival, John Ball greeted me and asked if he could help me. I told John what I wanted to look at and he pulled it around the front for me to see. After a short test drive I decided to get the new Expedition. The one and only reason that I got the 2015 was due to the fact that John knew more about the truck than I did. He was able to answer all my questions about even the smallest details of the truck. He focused on the differences between the 2012 that I was trading and the 2015 and I was very impressed and signed on the dotted line. My wife and I wanted to trade down from a large SUV to a smaller vehicle. We stopped at the dealership to only look at what was available and affordable. The sales person that asked us if he could help was Jim Gormly. He didn't pressure us in anyway. He was very polite and helpful with all of our questions. After we came to a conclusion of what we wanted to test drive, Jim brought the car to us and away we went. During the drive he stopped in a parking lot and show us more about the instrumentation. It was the first time in my buying cars that I thought I was with a friend and not a sales person. I can't say enough about that experience. It didn't stop there, Chris Fabossi the sales manager worked with our financials since we were over/under on our SUV to a point where we loved the deal and accomplished what we were after. During those conversations with both Chris and Jim, my wife and I both thought we where sitting with friends and not a business trying to push a product. I can not express how comfortable we were with this purchase. I have to mention that there was other person that came in contact with during this purchase. It was the Accessories and Owner Relations MGR, Nancy Coady. She was so informative with the accessories and services available for the Focus we purchased. She went to great length to register my wife on the MyFord website as a user and explained how to use it at her benefit. Again, I never expected this experience. The total process was GREAT. We would recommend Plantation Ford when ever a conversation comes up about new cars.

My experience with buying my new Mustang at Plantation Ford was so phenomenal that the decision to leave the Nissan world behind was one of the best decisions I've made. I love my Mustang which replaced my 350Z and I kick myself in not making the trade sooner. The sales force there was like working with a family and I didn't feel pressured one moment, very refreshing. And taking delivery of my new Mustang was painless and done in less than an hour. I then recently had to visit the service department for my Mustang's first oil change. I was in total shock that I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. (My last experience with Nissan in CS I sat and waited for almost 4 hours for what they called 'express service') I love the guys and gals at Plantation Ford and can't imagine any other dealership giving such outstanding service!

I can't talk to the "service" department, but the purchase process could not have been easier. I was given a good deal, with outstanding financing, and none of the shenanigans that one usually associates with a car purchase. There was no "good cop bad cop" routine. There was no "we need some more money down to finalize this" during the 11th hour. There was no bait and switch in where they show you a vehicle you can't afford and then try and make you settle for something less. There was no "change the finance source" at the last minute which ups your interest rate. I was financed through Ford Finance, so I'm not scared that they will sell off my loan. It was a very quick and painless process. I knew what I was being offered before I stepped through the door. There was no change in the deal. Jim Gormly was straightforward and completely transparent in the process. The car I test drove, was the car that he offered me. And the car they offered me was the one I was already fully approved for. This is so refreshing. I can't recommend them enough.

Michael Kirwan-my salesman - recommended that I look at the Ford Escape.We took it for a test drive & I was very impressed with the handling and the many features that it has-the back-up camera was new to me & I do not even have one in my Mercedes. Jim Gormly was the most casual the most laid-back relaxed salesman I've ever met my life. Chris the sales manager is incredibly professional, extremely friendly and very different than other sales managers. He's open and upfront. I really appreciated meeting both of these gentlemen they are the reason I bought my $50,000 Ford Explorer sport. I would do it again. I left two other dealerships because I didn't like the way they were treating me until I came there to plantation Ford. I had gotten into terrible arguments at AutoNation ford in hialea, Florida and was pressured too much at Metro Ford in Miami. Go here and you will write and thank me.

This is the third time that my wife and I have shopped and purchased at Plantation Ford. Each time we have purchased from Jim Gormly. Quite frankly we find him to be a solid salesperson, very knowledgeable, no pressure and you feel at all times that he and the Plantation Ford team are representing your interests and your interests alone. When I mention team, standing behind Jim is a team made up of Chris (manager), Nancy (accessories - tint, DVDs, etc.) and Garry (the cool finance guy). Each one of them carry that consistent approach to great service and they care not just about the sale but who you are as consumers, as people. We bypass our local Ford dealer just to get the service and the service levels that we have come to enjoy. All-in-all a great experience delivered by a seasoned team of professionals - always a pleasure and it will continue to be our choice of dealership for many years to come. Our son has a few years to go before he is ready to buy a car but he already knows where he is going :o) A smart kid :o) As I reread this it is tough not to sound corny but great service is hard to find. When you receive stellar service you just want to have a shout out about it. That's what it's all about.

Jim the sales man always stops to check with me, even the sale has already taken place (six years ago on the first car, and one year so far on this one), or to discuss new produts in the pipeline. Ed in service always knows what I want done and gets my car in & out in good time, without trying to push "other services"

Don't buy a vehicle from here if you want to be treated fairly. I bought a vehicle from here, with a trade in. I have been in the automobile industry in Florida for most of my life, so I at least have some idea of what I'm dealing with and what to expect when I walk into a dealership. I paid nearly a premium for what seemed to be a quality vehicle. Here's the kicker - when I took the vehicle out on the highway after the deal was done, I went to turn on the cruise control which was clearly listed in the ad and to my surprise, NO CRUISE CONTROL! NO TILT STEERING! An options package worth about $1,000.00! Ok, fine. But when I tried to return the vehicle with ad in hand to exchange for the proper vehicle, no dice. No refund, no rebates, no unwinding the deal, no alternate vehicle, customer satisfaction or mention thereof. Basically, their attitude was "You bought it, now get out of here." When I showed up back on the lot 5 minutes after leaving, the Sales department wouldn't even speak to me - completely ignored. I had to go in to the customer service department and ask to speak to a general manager. My advise is that there are plenty of other Ford dealers out there, or dealerships in general for that matter.

My lease was up on my old car and I was going month to month with it. I realized that now was the best time to buy a new car. I recently had obtained my first career job a few weeks prior and wasn't sure I'd be able to finance the car myself. Justin worked hand in hand with me and helped get me into a 2013 Ford Focus. I contacted at least 7-10 different automobile dealerships and spoke with several different salespeople but Justin's knowledge, diligence and hard work along with Jeff's willingness to help and stay late to complete the deal quickly and efficiently made the difference. The dealership wasn't the closest to me but was definitely worth the drive! Thank you again Plantation Ford!

This dealer met all my expectations of what good customer service should resemble. I was very fortunate to have met such nice people who truly cared about me and what I needed. I love the atmosphere of this dealership because there is no pressure to buy anything. They simply lead you through the process. I have serviced my vehicle here five times, not once experiencing a wholly satisfactory visit. The only reason I chose to service here more than once is because of the proximity of the dealership to my home and my newness to the area. I've found the staff who work inside the service center to be lazy, rude, offensive, and apathetic to customer concerns. I have yet to receive a friendly greeting after walking through their doors. I always have to wait for someone to acknowledge me, even when I'm standing right in front of someone's desk, which once was for more than a whole minute before the person even looked up in my direction. My worst experiences have been interacting, or attempting to interact, with Mark Rufu. He has an arrogance about him that is condescending. He is not outright rude, however, he wholly lacks enthusiasm, care, and grace in handling customer concerns. I once had to leave the dealership during a routine oil change. It was an emergency, and I asked for his assistance in being able to perhaps loan a vehicle or secure another route for transportation to which he replied, "Sorry. We don't do loaners." When I emphasized the emergency of the situation to him again he said, "I don't know what to tell you."In addition to poor customer service, I feel like this dealership tries to take advantage of me every single time I've been in for service. There hasn't been one time that a service person, usually Mark, hasn't come back to me while I sit in their dirty, smelly, boring waiting area to tell me that "something else" needs to be fixed or replaced or whatever on my vehicle, and my vehicle is a 2008 with a perfect service record. As far as wait times, this place is the worst. I have never had an oil change here that they were able to finish in less than an hour. When I had my brakes replaced I waited more than four hours; the first two of which I waited before being told that it was "probably going to take a few more hours." And don't ever think you can make a last-minute oil change appointment without getting grief from the service person working at the time when you pull in just before close. The receptionist over the phone is super friendly every time, assuring you that even though it's last-minute, they can certainly accommodate. Yeah right. I go to school and work late, and it's difficult for me to get in early when I finish. I've been given dirty looks and I've even been scolded for coming in so close to closing time. Way to make customers feel valuable, especially from the part of the business that keeps the dealership ALIVE..!As such, it is with immense relief that I make the search now for a new dealership for my Ford. You can be sure that I will not be servicing or visiting this dealership ever again.

It was a very pleasant experience, no high pressure to purchse, but very informative about product and services available without the high pressure to by. Setting up financing was very simple and straight forward. Both my wife and I enjoyed the experience, which has not been our experience at other dealers with previous car purchases we've made over the last 15 years.

Everyone I had to deal with in the service & parts department were very nice, seem to know their job position quite well. The manager of Plantation Ford should feel secure that he has to me the best of people doing their jobs. Without a doubt I will continue coming back here for my car service and for parts. I am sorry to say that I don't the persons name in the parts department who helped me otherwise I would have mentioned their names as well.

Jeff Weinstein the salesman at Plantation Ford was misleading and deceitful and told me my car had the features I had asked for when it did not. He kept giving me the run around and I came into the dealership 3 times to get the navigation fixed when in actuality the car never had navigation.

Wow, how refreshing to deal with an intelligent, well spoken and patient car salesman. I went to two other dealerships and got frustrated with being hassled and not having my questions answered. I live in Miami Beach but I called every Ford dealership South of Delray Beach until I was lucky enough to speak to Rick Olesen at Plantation Ford. I asked about the 2011 Ford Fiesta (not available yet) and he took his time to answer everything plus he told me lots of information I didn't know about the Microsoft Sync system. He promised he would teach me everything about this complicated, advanced system. He was very efficient, he called me Monday with the information about what models were due to come in (not the exact one I wanted). So, we discussed that I wanted the SES Hatchback in Lime Squeeze Green with the 301A package (Intelligent Access push button start). My husband and I drove an hour to meet Rick, he greeted us at the door and had a surprise... he pulled a few strings and ordered my dream car! It is due to arrive in two weeks, a lot faster than the 8 weeks it would have normally taken.We were happy to sign the purchase papers and leave a deposit. We didn't even have to haggle with him, he gave us an honest price with a great discount. I highly recommend this family run Plantation Ford dealership and consider Rick Olesen the best car salesman I have ever had the pleasure of buying from.
