My wife and I purchased a used BMW from Tom Williams Audi/Porsche. During our test drive we noticed the driver side mirror would not move, and upon deciding to purchase the paperwork included repairing the motor. While the repairs were performed satisfactorily, it took almost a week and a half of going back and forth (the reasons we were given were that the wrong part came in first, then an additional part was needed, then some other part was actually needed, etc.). The day after we took possession of the vehicle, the service engine light came on. At first it seemed like it could have been a loose gas cap, so I replaced the cap and the service engine light went off. After a couple of days, however, the light came back on. This time I took the vehicle to an independent shop and had it diagnosed. The VANOS solenoids had to be replaced and new oil filter installed and additional oil change performed. This ran just shy of $600. Within a couple of days of taking delivery we also discovered the trim around the front windshield has become dry rotted. Pricing parts to replace these pieces myself, I'm looking at just under $350. To be fair, I should have thought to inspect these pieces during the test drive, it just did not occur to me to do so. I'll chalk that one up to lessons learned. Finally, we are now going on having the vehicle for three weeks, and it still has not been detailed properly as promised. It was vacuumed and wiped down (maybe even with a damp rag, but was not detailed as promised). To make a long story short, while I was initially quite pleased with the salesman's honesty and candor, or at least the impression of such, the follow-through and subsequent issues without assistance mean that I cannot recommend Tom Williams as a dealership to do business with. Words of advice: take the time to truly inspect any used vehicle you may be interested in purchasing from Tom Williams, and I would highly recommend not accepting their word on any service performed without verifying as much as possible with an independent shop. In the end, we are content with our purchase only because of the low mileage and planned longevity of the vehicle we chose to purchase, but definitely not happy with the issues we've already experienced and the complete lack of prompt service and follow-through we've experienced.

From the moment I clicked on "find a dealer" on the Audi USA Website I began my ride of a lifetime. From the A6 to the Cabriolet and from the Q5 to the Q3, Our experience with Tom Williams Audi was not only very informative but our Sales Consultant was personable and courteous. I was passively looking for an Audi along with other luxury vehicles, when Mr. Michael Wilson from Audi introduced himself through an e-mail. I thought to myself, "another pushy salesperson who'll me wrangle me into something I don't want" but I was totally wrong and pleasantly surprised. After several e-mails explaining "exactly" what I wanted and did not want, Mr. Wilson began looking for that perfect Audi. Early in April I asked Mr. Wilson to contact me near the end of July and sure enough, not a peep until the last week in July. By August we were test driving an Audi Q3 and the Q5. Mr. Wilson again was very patient but finally we were able to purchase the Audi Q3 and we could not or would not have done it with the aid and perseverance of Mr. Wilson. He is a credit to Audi along with the Sales Manager and General Manager of the local Audi dealership. We hope for good things in the future as we continue our great relationship with the folks that brought us our little gem of car that is great a riot to drive and a pleasure to own. Top notch!

Just purchased an A-5 Cabriolet CPO from this dealership. I worked with Lee Goodson for my second purchase since joining the Audi family and felt like I was being supported throughout thje entire process. Lee worked to find me what I wanted and once it arrived from another dealer, I found that the car had a minor noise issue in the front end. The Service team with Miquel and the Greer along with Mr. Goodspon worked hard to resolve the problem and after correcting a minor tire issue made me a Happy Camper. My wife and I took the vehicle and absolutely love it. I still Have my 2006 Audi A4 Cabriolet which is a marvelous vehicle which I giving to my daughter. She is happy, I am happy and my wife is happy. A great experience and yes, I will return to this team for service and future Audi purchases.

I'm a long-time multiple Audi owner and I lusted after the 3.0T Audi A6 Avant Quattro from the day it was released in 2009. But there was no way I could justify the price for a new one, so I resigned myself to years of waiting for my ideal car to become available as a lease return or one-owner trade in. After several near-misses, at 1:00 a.m. on a recent Monday I finally spotted an online ad for the" car posted by Tom Williams Audi. This car appeared to meet every criterion that I had established: 2011, one-owner, low-mileage, meticulously maintained, southern state, clean carfax, with exactly the colors and options I would have specified if I had ordered it from the factory. The single requirement that it didn't appear to meet was designation as CPO. I immediately sent a voicemail, text and email to the dealership, following up with a call to the dealer later that morning. Buying any used car online sight unseen can be an exercise in frustration because of the many opportunities for miscommunication and misunderstandings. Couple that with my propensity to be an automobile dealership's worst nightmare, and Hannah Griffin was the poor soul who drew the short straw. But she handled my demands (foremost of which was that it be designated as CPO) and subsequent negotiations with aplomb, always professional, courteous and pleasant. I decided the best way to finalize the purchase was to personally visit the dealership and, if satisfied, drive this car home. Hannah rearranged her schedule to allow her to meet me at the airport and drive me to the dealership, and when I finally cast eyes on the car I could hardly believe my good luck. It had indeed been certified, so that was the final seal of approval for me. In no time I had presented my personal check, signed the documents, taken possession, and driven away. It was en route to my intermediate destination, Huntsville Alabama, that I began to become aware of issues that I had overlooked in my haste to take the car. Even a CPO isn't going to guarantee a problem-free experience, and this was no exception. After all, it's still a used car. But by the time I arrived in Huntsville I was steaming mad and on the phone vented my frustrations directly to Jim Hardy, Tom Williams Audi's used car sales manager. Jim was as courteous and professional as I had found Hannah to be. To make a long story less long, after several conversations with Jim and Hannah and an unannounced visit to the local dealer, I determined these were fixable issues and, even though Jim would have refunded my money, I wanted to keep this car. Jim and Hannah extended themselves to meet my demands more than many people could reasonably expect, including a personal face-to-face meeting with me in Huntsville to ensure my satisfaction. I don't know of any dealership that would go that far to meet a customer's needs. They personally coordinated with the other dealer to resolve all of my issues, and one day later I was enjoying a long drive home to San Antonio in a virtually flawless A6 Avant Quattro Prestige, content that I had made the purchase of a lifetime. Any dealership can sell a car. The true measure of their worth is the manner in which they address problems. Tom Williams rose to the task in exemplary fashion. Loyalty isn't earned by the car, it's earned by the dealership. Tom Williams Audi has earned my loyalty and Audi of America should be proud to have such a representative for their brand. Bottom line, should the occasion ever arise, I would go out of my way to buy a new or CPO Audi from Tom Williams Audi in Irondale Alabama. No one is going to be more fair to the customer, and no one is going to stand behind their sale as well as they will. Believe me when I say, if they can satisfy me, they can satisfy anyone.

Was looking for a particular used car and found one at Tom Williams Porsche/Audi. Set up an appointment to see it, drove it, liked it and purchased it. Steve Huett treated us as reasonably intelligent human beings, unlike some other car salesmen I've met in the past. As you can tell, I'm not a fan of car salesmen. I called Tom Williams Audi inquiring about when they would receive the brand new Audi 2015 Q3. As promised Hannah Griffin called me the day they received the vehicle. I promptly drove to see Hannah and test drive the Q3. She is knowledgeable about Audi and other brands as well. I also drove the 2015 Q3 and decided to purchase the larger Q5 instead. I felt that I got a fair price for my trade-in and a great price on a new 2015 Q5! Hannah was pleasant, informative and made the experience fun and no pressure! From the time I was greeted at the door by Greg Garrison, one of the managers to the final step of financing with Jordan, Finance manager, it was a great experience! I was searching for my dream car...An Audi A5...and found the perfect one at Tom Williams Audi. Unfortunately, the dealership was over six and a half hours away, which made the car shopping and buying process a little more difficult than usual. I was put in contact with salesman Mark Colvin, who helped me in every step in the process, from sending me photos, inspecting the car and negotiating the price and terms over the phone and via email. Ultimately, we were able to come to an agreement on a price and I flew to Birmingham to pick up my new vehicle. Mark picked me up at the airport and drove me to the dealership, where we completed the deal. He stocked the car with water and snacks for my drive home and made sure to show me around the car before I left. Each and every thing that he said that he would do, he did. It was difficult for me to complete this process from so far away, but having Mark help me through the process made me feel much more comfortable. I would highly recommend this dealership and especially Mark Colvin if you're ever in the search for an Audi or Porsche!!

Absolutely streamlined and efficient e commerce to physical sales process. I have purchased over 40 cars and this was definitely one of the easiest. Anna handled my questions via email while watching Maleficent with my daughters and confirmed the Macan was still in inventory on Friday evening. Spoke to Hannah Griffin in the morning on Saturday. Drove 2.5 hours from Nashville to check it out and make sure I liked the options. One quick test drive, then the paperwork with Hannah and crew and I was back on my way home to Nashville. Have had horrible experiences with other Sonic locations in my hometown so I was very worried about investing 5 hours to drive to Birmingham but the William's crew broke the streak and did not act like a mega-dealer. Tom Williams Audi Porsche gave me a great deal on a 2011 Toyota Camry with only 7,500 miles on it. I did a 500 miles radius search and couldn't find anything that came close to the deal that they offered. I took a big chance by driving 311 miles to purchase a car that I only seen pictures of on the internet and it was everything that they promised. I would definitely buy from them again. The staff was very friendly and down to earth and not like the pushy salesman I'm used to at dealerships. Ask for Mark Colvin when you go here if you want the best deal you ever got on a vehicle.

Drove down to Irondale from Huntsville to look at a used 2007 A6. Even though we weren't looking at a newer more expensive model, our salesman, Mark Colvin treated us just like we were test driving a new one. He spent the time to show us the car and explain what they would do to service the vehicle before we took delivery. In passing I mentioned that we were also looking at the BMW 5 series in addition to the A6 to replace my current vehicle, a 2003 A6. Mark then told us about a 535i they had taken in on trade recently and we ended up driving that one home. Great experience and Mark was great to work with!

Just purchased a used VW Tiquan from this dealership. I found them all to be very helpful, professional, and open to any ideas I had. Lee Goodson was excellent... He made the whole car buying experience no hassle... We looked at every Cayenne on the lot, and he was very patient and answered all of our questions... Very Informative... Even when we left to go to the Land Rover dealership he was kind and respectful... From the very friendly store manager to the financing staff, I could not have asked for anything better... I have nothing but praise for the whole team and not one complaint... I LOVE my new Cayenne!!!

just bought a used 2014 Boxster S from Tom Williams Porsche. Our Salesman is Mark Colvin. He was excellent. He took plenty of time with us to demo all the cars we were interested in, go over the differences in the vehicles we drove, and answer all of our questions. Never was the process pressured. Mark was very polite and cordial. One of the better buying experiences Ive had. I have read the reviews here, and after 3 different trips to this dealership, I have a hard time imagining how the negative experiences with the sales process could occur. I highly recommend our salesman and dealership to anyone.

Purchased a Q5 from Steve Colter. Steve is the best salesman ever!!!! Steve was friendly, informative, professional, funny and a great joy to work with. Steve found the car with the color and all the bells and whistles I wanted. He is efficient, thorough, and satisfaction is his aim. I bought an Audi from Tom Williams Audi and, overall, had a great experience. I attribute my satisfaction to Bernard, my sales person-- who was able to answer any question I had about the car. I usually do a lot of "homework" before shopping for a car-- so I was generally familiar with most options and trims on the car I had my eye on. Bernard proved to know much more than was easily "researchable." He answered all of my questions, whether via email, text, over the phone, or in person. I highly recommend you speak with him if you want info about any Audi. You will not be disappointed!

My fiance and I came to the Audi dealership to purchase a Q5. We weren't acknowledged at all during the time we spent walking around the dealership lot. I had my mind set on purchasing a Q5. Too bad no one wanted to sell a vehicle today. I guess I'll have to take my business elsewhere.

I recently traded in a 2009 911S for an Audi RS5. I was intent on moving to a sport coupe with a high-performance V8 and a bit more room than the 911. I was contemplating a BMW M6. I spoke with the sales person (Bernard Aboujaoude) and, after listening to me describe what I wanted he recommended the RS5 and asked me to test drive it. If I still wanted an M6 then I could use my trade-in at the Tom Williams BMW dealership. I did the test ride of the Audi and, though skeptical it would have the punch and style I was seeking, I was convinced right away. The RS5 had breathtaking V8 performance, great lines and looks, and was a $40K to $50K savings over an M6. Even had the color scheme I wanted. Everything about the purchase was professional and efficient and I couldn't be happier with the car.I'm glad Bernard was there when I walked in.

I have an Audi that needed a previously used cluster programmed to the car. After speaking with a representative over the phone I was told to bring the cluster in and given a price. I live in Tuscaloosa. Upon arriving at Tom Williams Audi after and hour and a half drive I was told that the price would be more because of installation. Ok fine I can understand that. What I cant understand is why I was told they wouldn't be able to program my cluster and that I would need to purchase a new one because its not possible to program a used cluster. I would have had more respect for this place had they just told me the truth that they didn't want to program my used cluster. Telling someone a flat out lie that it cant be done is not good customer service when it can be done. I did complain about the drive up after being told that they wouldn't be able to do anything for me and I got laughed at on my way out the door. Thankfully TVR automotive in Tuscaloosa was able to Program my cluster and they did it while giving excellent customer service. I believe the service writers and customer service associates need a little bit more training in that department. I know I'm only one person who most likely will not affect the bottom line of Tom Williams Audi but this is one person who will never set foot in or around this place again and I will continue to share my story!

We did not feel rushed in to a buying decision, and it was stressed to us they wanted to make sure we left completely satisfied with our decision. I was very skeptical at first about buying a car online, but it ended up being an easy and painless experience, which is why I'm taking the time to post this review. My salesman, Michael Corley was friendly and easy to deal with. I've been searching for a few weeks and I know I got an excellent price for my purchase and I didn't even need to haggle. I also had the same experience as the first review, looking for a Q5. They kept trying to sell me the car on the lot and this was not the one I wanted. I wanted them to find me a black one, with the features I wanted. The one on the lot was silver. After looking in the computer list, telling me one was not available,I went home and did my own search and purchased the vehicle I wanted in Montgomery. They could have had a sure sale if they had tried harder. I also sent an e-mail to the salesman and let him know he had just lost a commission and got no reply as to why.Now as to the service dept, which I use, because they are down the road from me is another story. They are hard to schedule and never answer the phone. With service pricing this high, I expect a person to answer the phone for scheduling, they want you to do it over the internet. This I would do, if on their web page they had a Q5 listed, you must click on the model of the auto. It is not there , so I cannot use the site.

I visited the dealership with my mother who has her heart set on an Audi Q7. We entered the dealership and had to search for someone to help us. They did not have a Q7 and the salesman told us that we could check back at the end of the month when they might have one... He didn't seem interested.We walked over Porsche part of the dealership to look at a Cayenne, since it is in the same class as her 2011 BMW X5. The greeter ignored us, and was somewhat rude when approached. He asked if we needed help. A few minutes later, they finally found a salesman; the same guy from the Audi side. I had to be a bit pushy to get him to show us the car I was interested in. He did not offer a test drive, but was kind enough to point out that the cheaper versions were around the corner.My family has bought 3 vehicles from the BMW dealership and 1 from the Landrover dealership which are part of the same group, but will not be buying a vehicle here. Their website states that they are enthusiastic about selling Audi's; the only thing they were enthusiastic about during our visit was getting us out of the dealership. We obliged.
