One of the best sales experiences and car purchases I’ve made at any dealer. Chris Nash, Eric And Mike’s commitment to their customers and drive to maintain a comfortable, low pressure environment is refreshing in what can more often be uncomfortable for many people. I highly recommend that anyone shop with these guys, even if it’s not a Nissan you’re looking for. I bought a used car and they have the best selection of very nice used cars, no junk!!! The warranty that comes with almost every used car (10yr/150,000mi) is the best I’ve ever seen and makes my confidence in my purchase unquestionable.

I went in hoping to make a purchase. With my credit not being top notch I was worried about being screwed. Mike Caval was my salesman and he was awesome. Very funny and personable. He listened to what I wanted and git me what I was looking for with bull. Eric was my finance guy and he didn't try and sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need or want. I had Charlie Browne as my salesman and he was friendly and patient. I knew exactly what I wanted when I was there however, so he didn't have to do too much leg work. He knew most of the questions I asked however, he was also unsure on a few things which I had to later find out on my own AFTER I bought the car. When it came to finalizing the price, he worked with me within my budget to get the car that I wanted. The part that I wasn't too keen on was the fact that I set up a price that I could afford but at the end they offered you a warranty that basically was a no brainer to get however that put me over my budget now. I would've appreciated knowing the warranty up front during the negotiation process so I could've factored that into my decision. I love the car but I've only had it a week. Downfall is that the way Charlie explained the sunroof it seemed that both would open however, only the first one opens and it only opens about 80% of the way.

I wanted to test drive one more car but it was 10 minutes before closing. They stayed late for me and gave me the car I liked most to take home. I was floored:)! Needless to say, I didn't want to give the car back anymore. All my questions and concerns buying a certified pre-owned car were answered with great attitude and knowledge. After the purchase I returned with one more concern and even that is being taken care of. Excellent experience bar none. I would highly recommend a Nissan and to purchase it from Port City Nissan. We will be back, without question. My husband needs a newer car soon too:). Enjoy.

They go out of their way to provide truly outstanding service both before, during and after the sale. They know that is what it is required to build long term satisfied customers.I just leased a new Rogue. I could have not been more pleased with the deal.They made me an offer that I could not refuse, and Dustin handled the whole process quickly and painlessly. Their service department is another reason we are loyal customers.Again, always friendly, professional and prompt.If we wait for our vehicle, the waiting area is clean well stocked, and has free WiFi. So I can read, watch TV or get some work done while I wait.Their service work has always been done right the first time, and we get a free car wash too!

This was an AWFUL experience. I am shopping for a car and have been to plenty of places and nothing like this place. From the beginning, TYLER!!!I specifically said DO NOT RUN MY CREDIT because I had another option, but he did anyway, tried to play it off like he didn't, unfortunately I got a pop up alert right after he did and when I asked, 'oh don't worry, it wont affect your credit score'. That's MY choice Tyler, also it WAS NOT a soft inquiry and IT DID affect my score. The sale itself, he literally gave me about 5 numbers all different, clearly trying to take advantage. When I politely told him I needed to think about, oh the attitude!!! Am sure its not the first time someone has had to think on you Tyler, is it? Long story short, this place will take every opportunity and will throw in all kinds of fees on you. The sad part, I was going to get that car because it was exactly what I wanted

Smooth and easy process the entire way. I usually make things pretty easy, so I think that helped. But, I know I got a great deal and great interest rate. Shopped other local dealers and some were ok, but Port City earned my business by being straight to the point. The other dealers dance and give you fake smiles (maybe some people like that cheese). I like the direct and to the point approach. IT SAVED ME TIME AND MONEY!!!...I love my new Altima and will be back!

Buyer be wear! These people will reap you off. Every dirty trick in the book is implemented here. I would come to this dealership every time I look to buy a car and every time I leave disappointed. One time I did buy a car there, but had to go through xxxx to finish the deal. Generally, the sales people are OK, but most of them are new every time I come, like high school kids or something. I guess they cannot survive longer in this dealership. The service department is below average in quality and tend to over-inflate the labor hours, no surprise there. But the business/financing department is the worst. They would pressure you for hours to buy all kind of crap, some "miracle" protection chemicals, shady service contracts, "great financing" options and what not.

Spent some time in the customer lounge in the service department today. Nice facility, comfortable, clean, free snacks, coffee, wifi. The only downside is that it is an open room off a busy hallway that connects the showroom to the service area that has a lot of office traffic. The open concept is great, but it is very noisy, which makes it hard to try and get work done while waiting for your vehicle. I was the only person in the lounge, and found it challenging to hear on a phone call. If they closed off the opening with a glass wall and door, it would make it the nicest service waiting area I've ever been in, and I would probably service the rest of my fleet there just for the positive waiting experience. The service by shop personnel is great, by the way. They seem to stay on schedule with appointments and are quick with getting info to you. They let you know what other items need attention, or that you may want to keep an eye on, but no pressure.

I needed a new pick up because mine finally died after 10 years. I went to Port City Nissan to see what options they had for pickup trucks. I was able to get into a used certified preowned one. I was very hesitant to get it because I really didn't want payments. After working with Luis for an hour or so. it made sense to get a Certified Preowned that comes with the 7 year 100k mile warranty and the roadside assistance which I definitely needed with my last truck. from start to finish the entire process was very smooth and painless. no hassle,no back and forth, and no pressure. It's been so long since I bought a car and the times have changed so much. I'm glad I went in because I was very apprehensive do to the way car dealerships use to be run. They definitely just gained a customer for life.

Chose Port City out of necessity - they had the only Xterra meeting my wife's strict requirements. Did not know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by a couple of young Salesmen who were totally dedicated to seeing that our needs were met. Everything they promised was fulfilled and, although our reason for buying a new vehicle was not pleasant (prior Xterra totaled due to an accident) these young men made the experience as enjoyable as possible. Their knowledge of the vehicle we were buying was impressive and they even helped us set up our Xterra for Bluetooth reception. As indicated, the dealership was very accommodating and the buying experience pleasant. Would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Nissan vehicle.

Walk in on a Monday with the exact same make, model, mileage and issue, then have someone else do that same except with a different VIN, with all things being equal, and they will get a completely different story and price. Sure, they base their quotes off of the VIN, however, you can see this game played when they don't realize you already got a quote for the exact same issue from them. Oh, and having to listen to this women, I was told she is a Manager AND the daughter of the owner, yell and throw a fit about something. Bottom line, Management is extremely unprofessional and it shows right down through to the poor guy sweeping the floors.

Knowing I couldn't afford more debt, they blindsided me and made the deal by having me default on my current loan? No one once said what would you like to do with this car you still own, went through the process of removing plates cleaning out my car and no one once indicated we now owned three cars. The shady salesman knew I didn't even have gas money. Completely ripped off by a 20 year old salesman who has no idea what credit even means when you have a family to provide for now my credit is tarnished. Never ever would I recommend anyone to Port City Nissan, Portsmouth NH. They never once returned our call as indicated when we spoke to Eric in finance. Completely unprofessional car dealership, or what you would expect for a shady dealership can't wait for the lease to end won't be soon enough!

Posting on my recent purchase of Nissan Altima with Port city Nissan . I was totally shocked to see the numbers on my first bill . I was going for a finance option . Port City Nissan offered me two choices , First one was with the price of XX with 3.99 % interest rate and the second one was with the price of YY with 0.0 A.P.R. So I took the second option . But when the first bill came the I was shocked to see the numbers in the bill. The sales person explained us about both the option on the day of purchase , We (Myself & my Wife ) clearly mentioned to sales rep that we are going in with YY price with 0.0 APR option. So we were under assumption that it was 0.0 APR, But looks like the papers that were created for the 3.99 % interest rate option. I communicated clearly to Sales rep that am going with the 0.0 APR option. I went with my trust with Port City Nissan , that's why I didn't even look at the papers when signing it during my purchase .Until the first bill I was under the impression that I went with 2nd option of 0.0 APR. When the first bill came that's when I realized the numbers didn't look right and verified the papers signed was created differently. For which they have broken the trust of the customer ... When inquired with Port City, they never accepted their mistake and played the blame game by mentioning the document was created for it and i have signed it ... So So customers beware and read twice before you sign the document , Ensure the document is created for what was agreed upon!!They will ask you sign in a system ( E-Sign ) ... But read it and check the agreed value and then sign it !!! I also spoke to the Business director , Seems like he wont even address the customer issues/concerns ...

We took our Pathfinder there last weekend for service that was covered by the factory warranty. We had purchased our Pathfinder used at another dealer and didn't really know what was covered so we called Port City and they looked into it for us. We were covered, and got in right away, they even fixed a rattle that no one else had been able to find. Everyone was friendly and helpful, would definitely go back.

PLEASE READ THIS!! I hope I might be able to save someone some grief. I am not someone who writes reviews as a habit but the service I received at Port City was pretty horrible. I bought my Rogue in Mid-July , I traded my Jeep in during the purchase. I arrived at the dealership late, they were the last dealership I was checking out for the day. The salesman, Ralph, was nice enough and after much back and forth we decided on a rogue. The manager was then summoned to talk $$. He gave my husband and myself some numbers which my husband calculated and found to be significantly off. We kept correcting the manager and as we were leaving- to consider the offer for the night- the manager changed the numbers, somehow "got someone to buy the jeep tonight" and would give a fair enough deal. Or so we thought. During the transaction we were told that our insurance agent would be contacted and insurance swapped over. It never happened, I didn't know this until I was contacted by the financial company. Port City was responsible for submitting the trade papers for the Jeep. Never happened, I continued to be charged for Jeep loan. I am still in the process of trying to correct that and get my $$ back. I was told that I could leave my Jeep at dealership and remove my personal belongings the following day. I did that because "Yay! I have a new car to drive around!" The salesman said he needed the keys to move and lock the car. I returned the following day and found that some expensive training equipment was missing. When I inquired I was told no one knew where it went. The Jeep was still on the lot... I contacted Port City this morning at 9:48am to speak to a manager. The Sales Manager, Kevin Shevelin was not available, the GM had the day off , and the only other person, Jennifer ( the owners daughter) was on the phone. I was assured that Jennifer would call me back "as soon as she finishes the call". I am still awaiting a phone call back. So, (please!) take my advice and look elsewhere. Nissan is a great product, Port City is a pretty lousy dealership.

If you hate someone, refer them to Port City Nissan. I have never been more disgusted by or taken advantage of by a business like this. I bought my 2009 Jeep Liberty from them less than two years ago (just over a year and a half). Every single thing has gone wrong with it. Just as an example (this is just ONE instance): I needed a new heater core three months ago, my car was still under warranty so they "fixed it". While fixing it they disconnected my roof so that my panoramic roof was unable to open. I brought it back in and spent two hours one morning waiting for them to fix the roof (which they admitted was their error) after two hours, of which I should've been at work, the service tech told me I had to go to a Jeep dealership and they didn't have the parts to fix it. So essentially take more time off of work to go and fix it properly. Fast forward three months I'm driving to work on Rt16 in rush hour, the floor of my car fills with coolant and every service light went on simultaneously. My car completely shut down. The heater core cracked, flooding the engine. Estimated damage? $8000! Yep, the Hester core that THEY installed. The dealership was so condescending when speaking with me and was no help. Saying it was my fault, my car was out of warranty etc. I left the owner four voicemails, he has not returned my call to this day. I spoke with the sales manager, who had me on speaker and was making fun of me asking rhetorical questions in front of an audience in his office, all of whom I could hear giggling. After a lot of headache they agreed to pay for the cost of the repairs because they "couldn't determine the cause of the problem and it wasn't fair to me, as the consumer." AKA: they knew they were at fault. However, they still had me pay the $350 for the rental car they "gave" me for the week. ALSO it's been three weeks and I just spoke to them and my car still is not ready. I am so disgusted and can not believe a business would operate like this. I will write a review on every website and am planning on going to the Better Business Bureau as well as the State Attorney General. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!

If I could give negative stars I would. They offer a great price and trade if you have low credit and try to get you for a 23% interest rate! Then they will not return phone calls and work honestly with you. They gave a great trade and price but quoted an insane interest rate. They said, if you can get a cosigner with 750 credit score, you can get the payment you're after...so we did, and they would no longer talk sale price and trade in value they'd given before. They would not return phone calls and insisted we come in again for another evaluation. I guess they lost a sale because I will never go back there and I am buying a car this weekend. Very shady place. Wouldn't give them my business.

My reason for this rating is soley based on a 1minute long conversation. I actually had to look up who my husband and I spoke with last night because Chris never introduced himself nor did he care to hear our names. He stepped into a negotiation by saying, "yeah, I can't even get you close to what you want." This response was based on a priced for our VW GTI. As a professional that spends my day buying wholesale and ultimately selling retail, I am beyond well-versed in the proces. Chris felt it was necessary to offer his explanation as to how that works. If we were given the opportunity, we could have negotiated. Chris seemed to enter the conversation as if he was offended. As previously stated, we never met this man prior to yesterday. As a rebuttal, Chris did throw out a number a bit higher than he 1st offered but by this time, we were so put off by his demeanor and lack of respect. We stood up from the table and said our goodbyes to Chip, who did offer to help us in the future. I entered Port City expecting to buy/lease the Juke Nismo that I researched. If we were politely offered a higher price for our GTI, we would have gone home to discuss our options. Again, I reiterate that opportunity was not granted. Even as I write this review today, I can still feel the disappointment and hurt caused by the Port City sales manager. I cannot fathom that this is how you choose to represent a business and a brand. I wish Chip nothing but a successful career. I hope that he is able to thrive despite the behavior of his direct boss. Thank you for taking the time to read about our experience.

Fantasic experience from my first communication with Danielle; her willingness to answer questions and provide information made it possible for me to do a lot of research on the best options within the criteria I'd set before I even stepped foot on the premises. Upon arrival we were greeted by salesman Dave Wing and a young salesman who was learning (I apologize for not remembering his name). I let them know what cars I was interested in, they pulled them immediately and never tried to sway me into a more expensive direction. While I couldn't get the financing I wanted on my first choice of car, they knew exactly what my criteria were and Eric ran another vehicle that they'd just received the week before and I hadn't even seen through the process so that when I got the call it wasn't a "Sorry, we can't get the car you want for that payment", instead it was more of a "Well, your first choice wasn't financable for the payment you want, but we do have a car that we think you'll love for even less". We jumped up, looked at the Versa, test drove it, signed, and drove it home within a couple of hours. I wouldn't have necessarily chosen to look at this vehicle, but I'm absolutely in love with it now. This will be the car my daughter uses mostly, and once she's out of college, the plan is for her to take the Versa, and I'll be right back at Port City Nissan looking for my next vehicle.

I have a Nissan that I purchased from another dealership. I also purchased an extended warranty that is required to be executed by that dealership. I brought my vehicle in because the TPS light would not go out. The sales dealership told me they would have to send it to the Nissan dealer because the TPS is proprietary (or rather, the reset tool is). It was determined that three of the sensors had dead batteries. They were replaced, covered by the warranty. About a week later, the problem recurred, and the process was repeated. The 4th sensor had a dead battery (why would they not replace all four in the first place?). It was covered by the warranty, but I had to pay the deductible again ($100 each time). Sucks, but that's the rule. I paid it and the service counter person at Nissan said, "I don't know why they didn't just do all four at the same time." Fast forward about 7 months, the TPS light comes on. I adjust the pressure in all four tires, but the light doesn't go out. The next night, I do it again, but the light doesn't go out. I bring it to the sales dealership, they bring it to Port City Nissan. Port City Nissan resets the 4 TPS units, tries to bill the sales dealership one hour for the labor. When they balk, it's lowered to $54.16. The warranty won't cover this because the parts are under warranty and should be covered by Nissan. The sales dealership passes the charge on to me. I call Nissan, and at first I'm told, "We didn't charge you, we charged them." When I press, I'm told, we billed them because you brought it to them, you didn't bring it here. (This sounds like I would have been covered if I'd brought it in directly, to me.) I ask why anyone is being charged if the parts carry a 1-year warranty. I'm told that that's only if the parts are defective. I ask how they are not defective if the TPS light does not go out when tire pressure is reset. "I don't know." I then ask, does this mean that the next time the equipment doesn't work right, but is not defective, if I'm going to have to pay $54 again. No good answer. Right now, I'm out $54 because Port City Nissan wanted to feed off the teet of the warranty for the "service" of resetting the TPS sensors (incidentally, Tire Warehouse has done this on my other Nissan free of charge when I purchased tires). So, five phone calls later, the only thing I know is that if it happens next week, it's covered. Beyond that, it seems they won't guarantee not to pork me when their "warranted" parts malfunction. Avoid this place like the plague that it is.

This turned out to be the worst buying experience I have ever had. Everything was delayed from the time I finished my test drive. After negotiating the pricing of both a trade in as well as the price of the car I assumed what was agreed to was on the final paperwork. When reviewing the final paperwork signed that evening I realized, not only was the negotiation nothing like what it had taken four hours to agree to but they had charged me for "optional equipment" as well as title search, intended to be waived and finally more than the advertised price for the vehicle. When confronted Chris's response was: if you have a problem with the deal have your attorney contact me directly. There is no time to rescind a contact. My call was less than 24 hours later. Chris was pleasant enough but ultimately deceptive, unethical and frustrating. Adding insult to injury, I now need to follow up with Attorney General complaint under Consumer Protection Act.

I came to the dealership after being frustrated with its neighbor. Jim was beyond friendly and accommodating he took the time to listen to what I wanted and had car after car lined up for me to test drive. Even after telling him I was looking to buy a car with in the next 6m to a year he was able to get the price of the car down to something I was happy with. After I was done with my transaction my husband wanted to get a new car and went with anther Nissan dealership in the area because they had more stick shifts. He bought from them and regretted it. 2 weeks later he back to my dealership and was able to get into a lease with the same monthly payments and is much happier with the car and the experience.

I had an incredible experience dealing with everyone over at Port City Nissan. I have sketchy credit at best and with a lot of help from Derek Mason and Eric Haley I walked out with a brand new car. They worked and tried so many different scenarios to help me get a reliable vehicle for my family and I very much appreciated the help and boy did I need it. I have to say Ryan is, by far, the best car salesman I have worked with to date. He was professional, friendly, and smart. There was no "game playing", and we were able to work out a deal quickly and efficiently. Hard to find a salesman you believe to be honest and trustworthy, and Ryan fits the bill. The only thing that matter to this dealership is to make sure I was happy with the deal the car and the delivering of the vehicle. Any issues were quickly and I mean quickly fixed without trying to sell me something I didn't want or need. There service department is outstanding and was the reason I went back to Portcity Nissan. Now I would add their sales department.

My experience with Port City Nissan was amazing. I knew exactly the vehicle and color I wanted. He made me feel that what I wanted in a vehicle and price was important. He went to great lengths to get me the best deal! Although the final inspection of the vehicle was not 100% perfect, he made sure it was before we left the lot. I would definately do business in the future with Port City Nissan!

What a GREAT experience I had at Port City Nissan! I have to say that I was not impressed by the website while doing my research but was driving by after trialing another vehicle and decided at the last minute what the heck. Am I SO GLAD I did! They were incredibly kind, honest, down to earth, patient and very fun to work with me. The experience was made easy, and enjoyable. They are clearly a tight "family" atmosphere and everyone there enjoys thier job/career and each other. It's a true team scenario. Everyone was very willing to help me in any way possible as well as each other! What a nice thing to see and experience in today's world. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone seeking a new or used car. In addition, they actually "listened" to what my needs were and directed me to a "Rogue". I didn't even know what a Rogue was! I am SO happy with my service, Nissan team and my new Rogue! It totally "ROCKS!" AWESOME experience with these folks!! Give them a try, you won't regret it!

After conducting research over the internet and visiting a number of Nissan dealers both inside and outside of Boston area, I was pleased to have discovered the helpful and knowledgeable sales team (Patrick Gannon and Sadie Giesemann) at Port City Nissan. They took the extra time and effort to understand my needs, explain my options, and answer all of my questions in a non-pressure environment. I also highly appreciated their straightforward, candid approach to the price negotiation, financing, and purchase process. There are many Nissan dealers that are much closer to where I live and work, but their willingness to go the 'extra mile' for both pricing and service convinced me that they valued me as a customer. Now that it's just over a month later since I purchased my Xterra, I am still very happy and satisfied with my decision to purchase from Port City. Having purchased 2 Nissans at another dealership I came to Port City first as a service customer with my 2010 Murano. I do alot of driving and it was time to trade the murano for something new. Patrick listened very closely to my needs and worked to find the right car at the right price. I am now a new 2012 Pathfinder owners. Everyone I worked with was focused on providing an outanding customer experience. Port City Nissan is a great place to do business. You are welcomed and treated as a guest in their home. My husband Phil and I were greeted outside by Derek Mason who was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the 2 Nissans we were considering to buy. Derek had a very professional and no-pressure approach. He spent a great deal of time with us that day and answered all of our questions. We decided on a Nissan Rouge which I love and Derek patiently took us through the entire buying and trade -in process. Eric then cheerfully followed up with the finance end and was very friendly as was the entire staff we dealt with that day. Wow - what a great car dealership!! That's all we can say, after looking and shopping at most of the car dealerships in the Seacoast. Port City Nissan is fantastic.My wife and I were not easy shoppers, and we spent three weeks figuring out what we were looking for as a second car. We originally stopped in to Port City on a whim, just trying out one more type of car on our way home. However, when we stopped, we found what really and truly sets Port City Nissan apart from the other dealers: Jim Lowell.Jim is an outstanding sales man, and the more time we spent at other dealerships, the more we liked dealing with Jim. We had sleazy car dealers making shady offers, a few uninterested and unresponsive dealers, and not much guidance or help with actually finding the right car for us. That's what made Jim stand out. He (and everyone else at Port City) made buying a car a fun process, but even more importantly he was an immense help in the hunt for our car. He asked excellent questions, really got to know us and our tastes, and scoured his inventory to find some pretty excellent cars. We test drove Nissans, Hondas, Volvos, and one very nice Infinity, and in the end, Jim found us exactly the car we were looking for, at a great price.The entire staff at Port City were excellent in our whole experience with them as well. The dealership is a very welcoming place and there is a refreshing lack of pushiness. We found that even though Nissans weren't the cars for us, Port City Nissan was the right fit for us, and we will DEFINITELY being working with them again!

I called all Nissan Dealers in NH, MA and one in VT. I and hubby had a specific vehicle in mind, Nissan Frontier SV. I talked to many sales consultants in all of these Dealerships, I'm a no nonsense gal. I did my research with my husband on the vehicle. Hubby had no privacy in work to make these calls and besides it took forever lol. When I called I made it clear we were ready to buy and demonstrated that, by our knowledge of the vehicle. I was asking nicely do you have it on the lot and what is your best price you can sell it to us for. I have bought cars this way with the help of the internet for about 15 years. This was the first year I got an attitude, lots of pressure, one guy wouldn't even talk to me OMG, another called me back 8 times of course he had to keep checking on things...We thought why all these games..THEN WE Found Jim Lowell at Port City Nissan. It was close to 2 hours round trip from our house but that was no big deal. As a woman I appreciated his respect of my knowledge and his helpfullness. There was no pressure from Jim Lowell. He gave us a great deal and Jim Lowell and Port City Nissan handled paperwork and car facts with great ease. A very plesant experience and would highly recommend. Good Luck

Ryan really went the extra mile, showing us several cars. He was patient, and offered suggestions but wasn't pushy. He gets 100% credit that we bought our car. Eric knew his stuff, and was straightforward about pricing and financing. We live 45 minutes from this dealership, but it was worth it to travel. We had a remote starter installed a few weeks after we bought the car, and the remote starter worked fine, but the A/C wouldn't stay on. The service department was outstanding. My husband works in Boston and they had a technician close to his place of business go to where he works and fixed it there. Awesome!!!

It was a great experience, the sales people were friendly and knowledgeable. When I arrived a dealership I was greeted by Derek Mason who was very friendly and helped explained the options and safety features of the Xterra I was looking at. It was a very low pressure atmosphere. I also talked to Casey McBrien about my trade-in who also seems very nice. When I arrived at the dealer to pick up my Xterra I was greeted by David Wing who right away asked my son would you like a balloon which I thought was very nice. I then meet with Eric Haley to go over the finance paperwork who went above and beyond letting my son use his iPad while we were going over the paperwork. After meeting with Eric I meet back with David who went over the Xterra with me again and introduced me Anthony at the parts department who helped me with some accessories. What a great Team!

I liked this dealership because of the salesmen who helped us. Jeremy was a great guy. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to check out cars and told him we weren't even remotely interested in buying anything (which we were not and didn't at the time) but he enthusiastically entertained us, took us for a test drive and answered all our questions. This is the reason why a month later when I had to put my car to rest we went back and bought our next car from him. Jeremy exemplifies everything a car salesmen should be: friendly, no pressure, straight shooter and extremly knowledgable about the product he's selling. Jeremy went above and beyond to made sure we knew what we were buying and how to use all the features of the car we purchased. I would hope Jeremy is recognized for his outstanding service.

Everyone was very friendly and willing to show us cars within our price range. No one made us feel like we were taking up to much of their time or asking to many questions. Most things were explained well and in pretty good detail. They just have to remember when people are buying a new car and never had a car with the gas opener in the car to tell them that. It took me a while to figure out how to open the gas compartment, because I always opened mine from the outside of the car and not inside the car. "laughing" It was a good experience and I hope to work with this car dealership more in the future.

I visited Port City Nissan today to look into buying/leasing a new vehicle. I had not bought a "NEW" car for almost 30 years (bought used) and was somewhat anxious because of all the new technology. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would drive out a few hours later with a brand new Nissan Sentra. Ryan Faulkner was the first person I spoke with and would recommend him to anyone looking for a truly sincere and friendly sales person. He explained every aspect of the purchase/lease and answered all questions I asked. Brian Snow was the second person I had to sit with and he made me feel right at home and got me thru the "sign on the dotted line" process without a hitch. I truly left Port City Nissan feeling like a teenager again. I am now cruising around Portsmouth in a snappy new car and loving every minute of it. I will feel comfortable, once again, driving to see family and friends without the worry of a possible breakdown. Thank You Ryan and Brian for a terrific car buying experience.

I have been dealing with Port City Nissan for the past 13years.(2- Xterrra's and 3- Altima's) When you walk in the door it is like old home week.The sales team gives a 110%,I enjoy it so much that my kids have both purchased a car and truck through them. Over the years things have become much easier mainly the streamlining on the finance side. When this lease is up I will definately go back for my next adventure in car shopping.My new favorite sales guy is Dan(who made me feel Iike I have known him all of my life), my new finance guru Eric who makes the finance end so smooth, and last but not least Casey and Kevin whom we give so much grieF to. When service time rolls around it's back to the sales department to check in and say Hi.

My wife and I just purchased a Used Honda CRV through Port City Nissan. Everyone we encountered was very professional. Almost all of my interaction was with Jeremy Brocato. Jeremy had excellent customer service skills and worked really hard to address all of my concerns and questions. He made himself overly available by allowing me to text him with questions and by also making himself available on his days off. Although we were specifically shopping for a Honda, Jeremy did an excellent job adapting to our specific needs. After viewing the car and getting an appraisal on my trade-in value, Casey Goodson offered me a price on the car. I told Casey that I would have to talk to my wife about the offer. I contacted Jeremy a few days later and offered to buy the car for $412 less than Casey's initial offer. I then went to the dealership to test drive the Honda CRV for a few hours. When I returned, I told Jeremy that I would buy the car on the spot (check in hand with no financing) for $412 less than Casey's initial offer. After he talked with Casey, Jeremy told me that Casey would not accept my offer. I then told Jeremy that I appreciated all of his help and hard work, but that I would not be able to purchase the car. When I went out in the parking lot, Casey was standing by my car. He told me that he was sorry that we were $400 off. I then got in my car and left the dealership. At this point I was completely content with not buying this car. From a personal standpoint, I visited the dealership 3 times in the attempt to purchase the car. I was given one initial offer by Casey, yet he would not entertain accepting my offer for $412 less than his initial offer. The car that I was willing to purchase was traded in on January 30th. This Honda was sitting on a Nissan lot for 45 days. To me it was extremely surprising that a sales manager would let a sale walk over $412. About 45 minutes later, I returned to the dealership and purchased the car for Casey's initial offer. We purchased a Honda CRV because we really like the car. We purchased a Honda CRV from Port City Nissan because of Jeremy Brocato. Jeremy's exceptional customer service and dedication made up for Casey's shortcomings. If Jeremy was just an average salesman, I know I would not have purchased a car from Port City Nissan because of Casey Goodson. As a one-income family, we were willing to buy the car with cash for $412 less than Casey's initial offer. For us, paying the extra $412 requires a huge sacrifice, yet to a dealership it's nothing. Thank you to Jeremy for all your hard work, we will gladly recommend this dealership because of him. I would also like to give a special "Thank You" to Dave Wing. Although I did not work directly with him, he also had excellent customer service. Finally....if you read Casey's profile, I hope you now understand why he can go out and get ice cream 3 days a week.

I went in to Port City on whim. At first the interaction went well and I left the dealership confident in my dealings. My first interaction seemed to be the only good interaction for the rest of the coming week until I took delivery of my vehicle. The deal required a lot of effort on my part, constant calls in. There was no follow-up on the part of the dealership. I felt like I had to nag them to get any information. Brian Snow pushed for me to go higher than I was comfortable on my payment. There were two good parts of my sale. Even though Brian pushed me to go higher on my payment, he eventually relented and understood that I would not go higher, and then he made the deal work on my terms. He was able to get me financed even though I have fairly poor credit and with little money down. Jeremy Brocato was extremely easy to work with a s a sales agent. He was laidback, patient, and answered all of my questions. He even arranged for me to take the car to an independent mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection.The independent mechanic recommended that the front rotors be replaced or resurfaced. The dealer declined to do either prior to my purchasing the vehicle. The mechanic recommended that the restinator on the exhaust be repaired or replaced, and again the dealer declined to do either prior to purchase. The mechanic found a dead bird in the bottom part of the grill of my vehicle, and the dealer did have that removed prior to purchase. Delivery went smoothly, for the most part. I signed some paperwork out in the showroom, where there is absolutely no privacy between the desks for customers. But otherwise, I was in and out of the dealership on delivery day within a couple of hours. I purchased a Nissan Certified Pre-owned vehicle, and the dealership tried to suggest that other Nissan dealers might not be able to service my vehicle for warranty repairs. A few days after my purchase, I went to a Nissan dealership nearer to where I live, and they said they would definitely be able to service my Nissan in the future.Overall, I would NOT recommend this dealership to any of my family and friends. This was one of the most difficult deals I have ever been through. I felt like they tried to be deceptive. I felt pressured and stressed throughout the week, and could not feel excited about my purchase until I was driving the car off the lot after the deal was done.

What a wonderful car buying experience! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. I especially enjoyed working with Dan Sharp,WHAT A HOOT! We shared a lot of laughs but when it came down to the actual buying of the car I don't think anyone's ever worked so hard on my behalf. I presented many challenges to Dan and really wasn't sure I would be able to purchase the car I fell in love with, but he made it happen! I am beyond satisfied with my new lease! This is my second time leasing with Port City and I only have great things to say about them! Kevin is the most laid back sales manager I have ever dealt with. He's helpful, doesn't dodge questions and I never felt pressured.I am a very picky indecisive buyer but David & Kevin accommodated all my requests and got me a great deal on my 2012 2.5S Altima! Derek was very knowledgeable and eager to demonstrate the car, he listened well to my needs. Kevin negotiated with me for the car price and reached out to provide extra incentives. Eric worked out the final paperwork with my needs in mind. They need to work on how they assist customers who come with outside financing... the last minute paperwork was a little confusing but they worked it out and I was able to leave with the car. Recommended!

My husband and I have been out and about looking for our third Altima. I knew what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. Countless times we have walked away from dealerships knowing we would never return. So I took a chance and on my way home to MASS. I stopped by this dealership. I was greeting by a nice yound man who was dress professionally. I told him what I was looking for and off he went to find it. He found this 2005 silver Altima right around our price point. He took me for a test drive and I loved it! So off to the ugly negotiating. However it was not! James made it light and really went to bat for me. I placed a depostit down to make sure it was mine while I went to get my husband up there. We went up Friday late afternoon and I could tell he liked it. So we bought it!!! Then into finance with Eric who was so awesome!! Finance can be stressful but he made it light and fun and got a rate for us and helped me with my not so good credit get on the title.I wish everyone could have the same experience that we did and maybe car buying would not have such a bad reputation.Thank you James, Eric and Port Nissan for doing it right and treating your customer..us...with importance and true respect.We will so be back for our fourth Altima in a few years and will spread the word here in MASS.!!!

Car buying is generally my worst experience, I most always feel that I have been "taken". I will say that this experience was refreshingly different. Both Dan and Kevin were a pleasure to deal with and made the experience not only painless, but fast (my number one complaint is the time it takes to get these transactions done - but not this time!). Both Dan and Kevin listened to our needs and responded accordingly. AND, the lease deal on the trruck was amazing! It is the third purchase for me at this dealership and two of those were this year.Thanks for the great customer service. I also appreciate the attention I get from the guys on the service team. They have been terrific.

Prior to going to Port City, I visited a dealership in the greater Boston area. They were hard sell but had no interest in seriously dealing on price. I was looking for a specific Rogue and no one in the Boston area had one in stock. I found it at Port City and called to confirm they had the car on the lot. Kevin answered the phone and was very personable and implied that they were dealing and selling volume. We were greeted by Kevin and he suggested we go for a test drive with Dan. Loved the Rogue and negotiated the deal. The negotiation with Dan and then Kevin was much more relaxed than any prior experience I have had purchasing a car. I picked up the Rogue the following evening and financed through Nissan at 0%. I'm enjoying my Rogue and would highly recommend purchasing from Port City Nissan!

Dan Sharpe is an excellent salesman. It was incredibly refreshing to deal with a regular person rather than a stereotypical salesman. Dan was very responsive to all of my needs as a customer. I have never felt so comfortable buying a car in my life. The lease deals at Port City Nissan are second to none. Dan is very personable and I felt like I had known him for years upon meeting him. Most of the time car buying is painful,not at Port City Nissan.Kevin and Eric get it done at the same time you feel your not gonna get screwed.My wife wanted a new truck and it was time to trade for the most value.Can,t say enough about these guys.Folks if you want to buy and not just kick-in tires ,Kevin Sales Manager and Eric Business Manager will get you on the way with a great deal.Wife loves her new Frontier and life is good.It was a great way to spend Labor Day at Port City Nissan. I have been getting my cars serviced at Port City for over ten years now, and have bought my last five cars from them. I've always liked the basics... no power anything. But Phil Walter made sure that when I came in for an appointment, he paired me with a salesman that was able to thoroughly explain ever detail of the new "techy" features that are fast becoming standard on all cars. I always feel like part of the family, and the management team always goes out of their way to make me feel welcome and important.

Good service; great to work with Ian, felt very comfortable. Got to drive tons of cars and came away very confident with the '09 Nissan Cube (with ~33000 miles) I ended up buying.The only hitch we almost ran into was that they changed the sale price online in between the first and second time I came in, and they missed the price change, but once it was pointed out they changed immediately.

The purchase of my 2011 Frontier was the best car buying experience that I have had to date. My Salesman Dan Sharp was a pleasure to deal with and he worked my deal very hard for me. I was surprised by the discount and trade offer as I had already visited other Nissan dealers who werent nearly as aggressive with either pricing or trade offer. Brian Snow was the manager that worked the deal with Dan and I, Brian followed Dans deal through with a great interest rate and made the balance of the transaction painless. While at the dealership I interacted with several other staff members who also made me feel like by purchasing there I was becoming part of the family. Other senior management took the time to introduce themselves to me and engage me in conversation, at no time did anyone try the high pressure tactics that are so often a part of the typical car buying experience. This is my first Nissan and my first time doing business with Port City Nissan but if my Nissan performs as well as the staff at Port City than they will have my business for years. Matt was great in not only helping me out with picking a car, but also helping me make decisions from there. I wasn't sure whether I wanted leather or cloth, and he encouraged me to really think about it instead of being a typical pushy salesman. He could have tried to sell me on the leather to get that extra grand, but he was honest with me and told me how much all of his customers like the cloth. I really appreciated his honesty, and it's what got him a sale in the end. He's a great guy, and very knowledgeable about Nissan. Definitely recommend buying from him!

I had outstanding service from the moment I entered the parking lot of the dealer, everything I was explained to me about the car that I was interested in. It was done in a professional but pleasant manner. I was given a very good price on the car. The finances were explained to me in a way that I totally understood the terms of the contract again done in a professional but pleasant manner. Port City nissan is a great car shopping experience, even for those that do not end up purchasing a vehicle here. I came in with many questions for two different vehicles, and was given the time and car as if I were buying one. Ben Townes was fantastic, friendly, and very informative about their products. He even lined up both cars so that I could compare them against one another right there, to help make my research easier. I also dealt with Ian Palmer, another great salesman that answered all my questions via email in a timely manner. He even made sure that when he wasn't there that my services were both going to be taken care of, and that I was given the appropriate attention and care when he came back. Overall a great experience, never felt pressured or pushed into a decision that I did not want. Thanks again guys!

Kevin called me on Friday asking me to bring in my 2008 Altima coupe (leased) for a chance to trade out early. Saturday AM I was welcomed by Sales Manager Kevin's booming voice and a warm welcome by the staff. Got to work right away with salesman Ben. VERY knowlegeable. Every one took the time to work deals on several autos. I was looking to be "WOW"ed and I was. Great price and a nice upgrade to an Altima sedan. Great customer service (never ending pot of coffee!. Lots of fun and laughter, a great experience. Did I mention this is my 9th Altima purchase from this dealership?

I was very pleased with my first new automobile purchase. I had been in contact with countless dealers looking for the best deal. One dealer did the bait and switch thing and had me believing that I had to buy a used car(which ended up being more money than the new car I went in for when I checked their website later) because I had bad credit. They never even showed me the car I went in for. Another dealer had a higher price of a little more than $1000 on the car I wanted. Port City was different. They were upfront and honest about the price, discounts, payments and the salesman was very knowledgeable about the car I was buying. I got the car I wanted for the lowest price I could find. Port City made it pretty painless!

I went to Port City after having a bad experience at a previous dealer. We finally decided to purchase a Sentra and I really thought the hard part of car shopping was behind me, but alas--no. When I entered the dealership I was greeted and explained my plight and was immediately introduced to Matt and I was told that they would make this experience as easy as possible. Misson accomplished! I really don't think I've ever had a salesperson that was so professional and aquired such finess. This is my second Nissan Sentra lease with Port City Nissan. I was proud of myself for doing all of my homework, knew what a reasonable selling price would be, knew what my residual value was and knew exactly what I was looking for right down to the color and options. I went into the dealership armed to get what I wanted at the price I wanted. Before I could begin to negotiate, everything came in at exactly what I had calculated, with the exact vehicle and options I wanted. No hassles, honest service, genuine sales people - honestly, I don't think it gets better than that! I will be a long time customer with Port City Nissan. I had an excellent experience with Port City Nissan & Suzuki, especially with the salesperson who helped me, Ben Townes. Ben was extremely professional, responsive, helpful and friendly. He took as much time as was needed to completely answer all my questions, and to research information to assist me with my decision. He never rushed or pressured me, but only offered the best information he could. Even though I was shopping for an older vehicle, I was treated as if I were buying a new Lamborghini! In the end, I decided to delay the purchase of a vehicle, but the excellent service from Ben and this dealership made me almost buy anyway! The reason we liked Port City Nissan was our experience with Ian Palmer. His customer service skills were fantastic, he wasn't pushy and was very knowledgeable and personable. Kevin, on the other hand, was a hot mess. He was condescending and rude, especially for someone that wanted our business. He told us what we wanted to hear to suck us in, but when we actually had a deal going on, it was a different story. The finance department was no better. We were told we were all set and qualified with a monthly payment amount and final appointment to finish up paperwork, but turns out, days later, they were still trying to "run numbers". We are disappointed that Port City Nissan was not what we thought it would be! Sorry, Ian, we would have loved to give you business but your dealership is run by a bunch of monkeys!

My overall experience was an ok one! I drove over 300 miles to pick up this specific car. My sales rep Ben really played a wonderful middle man and solved several problems that arose in a 6 hour period while I was there. If it was not for his assistance the deal most likely would of fell through. Kevin was the rep I dealt with on the phone although his friendliness was why I rated an ok rather than a great it all ended up working out in the end. I am still waiting for a refund check from the dealership that I have not yet received. I will follow up soon with that. As for the car its is amazing. Exactly the make, model and color I was looking for. Again thanks for good experience!

My daughter bought a used 2008 Volkswagon Jetta ($14,000) here with bad tires.One week later, going back for repairs a tire blew 3 miles on the highway from Dealership. She called the dealership and they said "sorry we don't have roadside service",so she changed the tire herself with no owners manual in glove box, it takes a special tool she wasn't aware of,then drove to dealership only to have them send her home 60 miles on a donut tire with her 2 year old son in the vehicle. We have called to resolve this with the manager and sales person only to tell us they couldn't help us. We would not recommend anyone to do business here, ever.

We recently leased our third Nissan Altima through Port City. Our sales person was Ben was extremely knowledeable about all aspects of the process and never made us feel pressured. Our negotiations went smoothly and quickly as there was an obvious sense that both Kevin and Ben were trying to get us the deal we wanted. We had our purchase towed back to them within 2 days and only offered us trade-in value with a sneering smirk. His not my problem attitude was very surprising and sad.

Ian was a very knowledgable salesman & easy to work with. He answered all my questions and explained everything about the car I needed to know. Casey worked with me to make sure I got the best deal I could get, and was very friendly & fun to work with. There was a question as to whether my insurance would be covered so instead of letting me take the chance, Casey gave me a car to go home with that night which was a Sunday. The following day I went back, and Ian went to my insurance agent, and the registry, doing all the work for me, and making it much easier. I left there knowing I had made a great purchase, and worked with a great sales team.

Port City worked with us extensively via email to locate the car I wanted at the desired price point. Their Internet price was competitive and included the first year of service, a definite differentiator from their competitors. Unfortunately I changed my mind about the color I wanted and they did not have what I wanted on the lot. Because of my previous experience with port city nissan and my salesman matt Luedtke, i knew that matt is the person i needed to contact in order to get through this next process. I cannot say enough about Matt. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. We worked with Matt originally to test drive a Juke and made a second appt. to meet with him to crunch some numbers. Matt was out sick for our second appt. and we got stuck dealing with Patrick. Matt is wonderful, an all over great guy.Patrick needs alot of work. He was not willing to budge at all with the price and was very short with trying to keep us interested in a sale. We know if Matt was there this would'nt have been the case. We highly recommend Matt as your sales guy!

My husband and I purchased a Versa from Port City on Feb 26th. Never have we been treated so poorly during a sale and in subsequent events. We called at 3:00 to confirm our 3:45 appt, were assured that everything was all set, and we arrived at 3:40. When we first arrived, we were told that they had not had time to check the car or to put any gas into it. We waited while they completed these tasks promptly. However, we were told that Brian was busy and we needed to sign papers with him. In fact, we waited until 5:55 (over 2 hours). After the first hour, we asked a manager at the desk if the wait would be much longer (our children were with us). He just shrugged, turned his back to us and said he didn't know. At 5:55 a sales manager from Suzuki arrived. He appeared shocked when we told that our appointment was over 2 hours ago. As we began to explain our frustration to him, we were quickly ushered away from him into Brian's office. Matt, the saleman, was apologetic and promised us a free tank of gas. We never received it. We were so upset over our experience that we followed up with an email to Jennifer Fecteau. She never replied. We then printed our letter and mailed it directly to her. Still no response. All we expected was an apology and an explanation for our terrible experience. Port City has just turned their backs to us again. We've shared our story with many friends, all who have said that Port City has a terrible reputation and wished we had talked with them before going there. We do NOT recommend this dealership.

Like many folks, I dread having to interact with aggressive sales people when ready to purchase a new vehicle. It's a necessary evil similar to going to the dentist for a root canal. However, to my great surprise, my recent buying experience with Port City Nissan was the BEST! I called the dealership and spoke with Phil Walter after locating my dream vehicle on their web site. Phil was awesome from the get go as he had the car ready for my test drive. On the phone he offered to call me back in case the hard to locate car model got snapped up before I traveled the distance from my home in Londonderry thus saving me from an unnecessary trip to the seacoast. Upon my arrival, sales professional Stephen Marchese showed me the car and explained in detail all of its many features before we went for a test spin. I was now sold on the car without ever being pressured for the sale. The dealership offered me a fair trade for my Xterra and arrranged VERY favorable financing of my new Altima sport coupe with a local credit union. In fact, I received a call from the dealership yesterday informing me that they had negotiated an even better financing deal AFTER the sale that would save me money on my monthly payments! What dealership would do that AFTER they have captured the sale? NOBODY. This exemplary level of customer service was truly amazing. Although I know the dealership made a handsome profit on both my trade and new car purchase, I did not feel that I was robbed blind by the deal. They gave me what I wanted in terms of the product and financing I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership. I am a diehard Nissan fan and I would definitely buy another vehicle with Port City Nissan.

Phil worked diligently to help me get the vehicle that was most appropriate for all of my needs. He communicated well and his service was spectacular. I will recommend him any one that will listen. It has been years since I have needed or wanted to look for a new car. Mine was reaching 10 years old, and I needed something more reliable where I could save some money as well. I requested a quote on a vehicle online, and was contacted immediately by Phil Walters. I explained my situation and he was very interested in helping me with it. I ended up at the dealership that night and spoke with him and explained what I was looking for. I had a few options, and we had to go back and forth via email and by phone to find what would work best for me. He was honest with me and directed me in the right direction. My husband and I were interested in a car we saw listed on the Port City Nissan webpage. We spoke with the dealership via telephone to get as much information as we could prior to visiting the dealership, as we were on a strict time schedule. When we were able to go to the dealership to see the vehicle in person, we found that it was in great condition, as described. The sales team was extremely helpful and accommodating (they even helped to entertain our three year old who had to come along!) They secured us the best financing possible and insured that we purchased the most appropriate warranty for our needs. We drove away from the dealership in our new (used) vehicle within two hours of arriving, and were completely satisfied with our experience. We found a small issue with the sunroof in the week after our purchase, which was covered and immediately repaired under our 30-day warranty. Overall we had a very positive experience, and would absolutely recommend this dealership to others without hesitation (which we have!)

This is my 5th lease from this dealership. I have always been treated great by everyone. My most recent experience was quite pain free. Chris and Casey were very helpful in locating the car I wanted with the options I wanted on it. They kept me informed all along the way until the car arrived. I picked it up on Saturday 1/9/2010 and I must say I have stayed longer in a food store check out line. Everything was all ready for me and it couldn't have been smoother. Christine had all my paperwork ready for me explaining each piece as it was handed to me for my signature. She told me not to hesitate to call with any questions or concerns and included her business card for me. Chris went over the car with me and explained in detail the inside buttons and gadgets. He has already called to make sure everything is okay. I would send anyone to this dealership as I am confident they will be treated with the same respect shown me.

Phil was a great sales person. Very honest, kept in touch with me before I was able to come down to the dealership and answered all my questions via email. He also contacted me the day before to make sure I was coming down. Was not pushy at all and was very knowledgeable. Ended up getting the Altima that we really wanted.Contacted me after my purchase to make sure everything was going well with the car.All the staff we very friendly....

When I was shopping for a new car, the gas prices were through the roof ( at $ 4.00 a gallon for regular ). I wanted to buy a car that was good on gas and was spacious. I did not want to buy a Honda Civic and feel like I'm gonna die if I got into an accident being inside that small thing. I looked into Toyota, Honda, and other cars and I loved the Nissan Altima. I liked how roomy it was, the new body style look, the keyless option, the auto/trip-tronic (gear shifter option) which gives it more of a kick, and just loved the car overall.Matt was a great salesman. He was very friendly, honest, and just made me feel very comfortable with the whole experience. He was so nice, that he was joking around with my four-year old daughter who loved him so much that we went back and visited him a few times after I bought the car. I had no doubt that he was not taking me to the cleaners and was working to get me the best deal possible.I had the pleasure of working with GM Kevin, who also made me feel very comfortable with the whole experience of buying my new car. He had all the same qualities that Matt did, which made me recommend my friends to buy their new/used cars from them. I actually drove one of my friends myself about a month later and she bought a car through Matt and Kevin that day.Great job guys, keep up the good work and I will for sure buy my next car from your dealership. The dealership overall was very good. They came into the price range and still were able to get me the options that I was looking for. Jeff was very helpful and up front about and through the whole process.I felt as if I was getting true information and a positive experience. They were very aggressive in the pricing and actually surprised me with what they were able to get done.

I went to Port City Nissan just on a whim. I wanted to see how the Nissan Altima drove, and I had just left Seacoast Volkswagon where I fell in love with their Wolfsburg edition. Matt greeted my mother and I immediately, and with such friendliness. I was really impressed when Matt not only brought out the Nissan Altima I wanted to see, but two alternative choices that I hadn't even thought of! Finally, after the test drive, the Altima just wasn't for me, but Matt continued to stay focused on me and finding me the car I wanted. I shared that I fell in love with the VW and that was the choice for me. Matt didn't accept defeat. He asked me to come in, made me feel welcomed and comfortable, and found the car for me, in a better color too! Needless to say, I bought the VW from Port City Nissan. Great Job PCN!

I recently made my first vehicle purchase, and was fortunate enough to do it from Port City Nissan. I did a lot of research, and heard the horror stories that many individuals had from "typical" car dealers. Port City was NOTHING like that. I was out of town when I started making contact, and Matt Luedtke patiently responded to all of my questions via email and over the phone. There were no games, and the price quoted was extremely competitive. When I arrived in town and was able to visit in person, it was the day after Thanksgiving but he still came in to make sure I was set up and taken care of (even though it was his day off). Phil rode with me during the test drives and didn't try to push or sell anything I didn't want. He gave honest answers. The price negotiations went smoothly and there were never any hangups or last second games. Christine (the F & I person) was able to get an unbelievably great financing rate (much better than any rate I was able to get independently--my credit isn't the greatest, but she managed to make it work well). After the purchase, Matt took me around to meet the service staff, who were extremely helpful when I brought the car back in later that day to do the inspections (after registering it) and installing the plates. Clean, convenient, friendly, and helpful service area. Matt also knows the product inside and out and was able to give me a detailed orientation about all of the features. He has also always been available for any questions, and worked with my hectic schedule. Even after I've been on the road now with my new car, Matt checks in to make sure the purchase is going well.Overall, Port City exemplifies how business should be done--honest, hard working, clear (no games), helpful, flexible, customer-oriented, and friendly. They have earned a loyal customer, and I hope others avoid the traps/heartaches out there and end up at Port City first also. Thanks and good luck!E R

What a great team they have at Nissan. They are very friendly and put me in a brand new vehicle. I love my new truck so much I am sure I will never drive a car again. I did not go to Nissan expecting to buy a brand new truck but Greg and Brian were so good I drove away in a brand new Nissan Frontier. Thanks guys

This is the absolute worst dealership I could imagine doing business with!!! I purchased a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta from them in 12/06 and it's been nothing but problems. First off, they didn't even clean it up for me... and the gas tank was only 1/4 full when i left the lot. Also, they did not fix a half-dollar sized rust mark on the hood, and a baseball-sized dent on the trunk. According to the salesman, they "dont fix little things like that." After owning the car for a mere 3 days, I noticed a rattling in the front end. I called Port City and made an appointment to have it looked at, and went there a few days later. I asked them to look at the struts/shocks... they said nothing was wrong. Assuming that they knew more than me, I left and went back home. The noise was still there, and had them look at it again when I went back for the state inspection. On the way to the dealership, the rattling got worse and it turns out 3 lug nuts were missing in the front left tire! I had to then pay for the towing. They didn't even own up that it was their mistake! I got the car checked out by two other mechanics, and sure enough, there is a leak in one of the stuts and the bearings are shot. Problem after problem occurred throughout the next few months, and now the car starts and stalls 2 seconds later. I had some parts replaced at Manchester Volkswagen, yet it still needs more work... $1200 to be exact. Before gettting any more work done, I had my boyfriend call Port City to see what they would say. After arguing with them for over an hour and a half, they admitted they sold me a piece of junk and would rectify it by buying the car back/getting me into a new car. Well, a month and a half has passed, the two salesmen that we have dealt with were fired, and I am still stuck with a dead Jetta. They are now telling me that they will not buy the car back; that the saleman Don essentially didn't know what he was talking about and lied (about being able to buy the car back.) The GM, Jennifer was no help at all. She passed me off to yet another salesman, who I am still getting nowhere with. I know it's normal for used cars to have some normal wear and tear, but this is rediculous! I didn't even have the car for 4.5 months before it died. Port City does not live up to their word and will give you the run-around when it coems to resolving issues. I highly recommend that you DO NOT pruchase a car from them, I know I am not the only one to regret doing business with them. At this point I am ready have the Jetta towed to their lot and left with a giant lemon on top with a sign reading "I bought this at Port City."
