We did an application on line to get pre approved for a loan on a older car the dealer called and told us he wanted to put us in a newer car. In less than an hour we werew approved they went out of the way for us. We highly recommend this dealer

Charay and the rest of the staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful! I got a great deal on my car and am very happy with it! One complaint I had was that they conveniently waited until the last minute to tell me there was an additional $500 documentation fee. When I called other local used car dealerships, their documentation fee was only $200-$300. In addition, they over priced me on my winter tires, but when I told them I found some for cheaper, they matched the less expensive price which was very nice of them!

I purchased my Toyota Tacoma from Charay at Poulin about a month ago. I had a really good buying experience, Charay was friendly, professional and always available with answers to my questions. I am very satisfied with my truck, I did however have a moment when I was not sure if I was going to have an issue with my purchase. The A/C-Heater fan was making a noise, I did inquire about the noise before I left the car dealership and was told it was a normal sound. I took the truck home and the sound got louder. I had my truck inspected at a local Toyota dealership shortly after my purchase and was told my truck is in great condition but the A/C blower needed to be replaced. The cost was about $180 so I did not make a big deal about it, especially since the Toyota dealership appraised my truck for more than I paid. Overall I am very satisfied with Charay and the vehicle I purchased.

Poulin Auto Sales I would highly recomend to anybody! Especially if it's your fist time buying a car through a dealership. I have given Poulin Auto in East Barre a great Review. This place has the best customer service we could ask for. They made us feel so comfortable while waiting for our truck. I might also add, Chara went beyond the call to help us till we left with our truck. I advised anyone to stop in and look around. I bet you leave with a veichle. Getting our truck from Poulin Auto was an experience we are will never forget. The customer service was the greatest. I was going in to look at a truck they had in stock. I drove 3 hours to look at the truck. As soon as I got there Justin was there to greet me and brought the truck up so I could drive it. So he and I went for a drive. He said we could drive around for a while If I wanted to because he understood I drove a long way and would probably want to drive the truck for a while to make sure it was what I wanted... After I drove it and decided to buy it I dealt with Travis to figure out financing and get everything sorted out. I was buying this car from out of state so it was a bit of a headache to deal with the process but Justin and Travis were always constantly in contact with me to make sure everything went smoothly. Thanks again guys!

Deciding to go through Charay at Poulin's Auto was one of the best decisions I could have made for myself. She worked around my schedule and in a very timely manner. She put me in the car I had been eye balling for weeks and was set on purchasing. Charay did more than just help me purchase a car though, she went beyond her job description; she showed me I had someone to count on and rely on. Not only did "we" purchase a car, she helped me in trying to find the best insurance quote for me. She was my support system in this process by playing the "mom" role for me. Even when I went to drive off the lot she hooked me up with a phone charger where my phone was almost dead, and supplied me with an auxiliary cord so I didn't have to listen to the radio on the hour drive home. Like I stated before, she went beyond what her job description is. Thank you so much for playing the "mom" role and taking care of me through this whole process. I strongly recommend her for a first time buyer or any buyer. So grateful to know someone such as herself.

We filled out an application online, Colby, called us back within a half hour of us filling it out. Guided us to think about going down there. Then decided to just go straight down there talked with Justin. My husband test drove a vehicle and brought it home to show me and my daughter, we fell in love instantly and all headed back to the dealership together. I think we got a pretty good deal on a vehicle. We walked out with our "new to us", 2014 Kia Optima LX. It was a nice, easy and smooth process. They both deserve praise for their quick responses and attention!

My wife and I were out shopping for a vehicle and we both were not to sure what we would be comfortable with. After spending the day looking around and checking things out "Buzz" showed us a model that fit comfortably for my wife an I , the color was brown and we hadn't ever considered such a purchase. But after Buzz taking he time and easing us into it , we found that the brown was the way to go for us both.Can't thank him enough for such an delightful afternoon.

!!!! Excellent Experience!!!! Recently went to Poulin Auto to look at a Jeep Compass. When I arrived I met with sales consultant Charay Beard, she was very helpful, pleasant, and was able to answer all my questions. When we came back to test drive the vehicle she had the car all ready to take out. After asking more questions witch she answered very professionally, we decided to purchase the vehicle. She made the paper work easy and took care of all the details. In about 2 and half hours I was able to leave in my 2011 Jeep Compass that I LOVE! Sincerely, Margo Smith and Family!

To start off, the lovely team of Charay and Travis went above and beyond to stay open for me when I mixed up scheduling a bit. Not only did they stay late but they also brought the car I desired feom the lot over in Burlington *another thing I managed to overlook*. This was my first car shopping experience that easily turned into a car buying experience thanks to the team at Poulin. Definitely go for a chance to be treated right regardless of who you are. I would deffienlty recormend anyone to Poulins because they will go out of there way to try and get you into the car you want. They won't try to sell you a car that you can't afford and they won't give up on you either. They really try there hardest to make it work for you no matter what. They are very friendly, family oriented and easy to talk to. I would for sure send anyone to Poulins to get a car. I have nothing bad to say about them. They are great! P.S. A huge shout out to Charay Beard, Todd Maynard and Travis Bailey and anyone else that helped out for all that you guys did to get me into the car that I really wanted! You guys are the best!

We had bought a Ford F150 on 8/31/15, we were in an accident 9/24/15 and totaled out the Ford. We called Charay to let her know we might be looking for a different truck because of the accident. Geigo Insurance Co. totaled the truck out. Needed a different one so called Charay back to let her know that now we were looking for a truck. Charay called back and said Travis Bailey had a sweet truck that just came into trade. If we had not taken out gap insurance we would still be waiting. I had to drive 90 miles to visit this dealership. It was well worth it. I initially found the car on line and immediately a received a response from Todd. I had been looking for a sport car since the beginning of summer and visited other dealers in New Hampshire. No one could measure up to the service I received from Poulin and Todd. I made an appointment and made the drive. I was greeted by Todd and was made to feel very comfortable while the car was being delivered from their other dealership. I was not under any pressure at any time. I was then allowed to take the car for a test drive on my own. Again no pressure. I left without giving any commitment to the sale. I made the decision to buy and offered a price it was counter offered within a reasonable time and amount and I accepted. When I picked up the car today it was waiting in front completely clean and some minor repairs made better than what I expected. They even offered to deliver it to New Hampshire!!! But I declined as I wanted to enjoy the ride home. I am so pleased with my purchase and the dealership. I would advise anyone to do business with them.

Colby and Travis helped me get an all wheel drive car so I could feel safe driving my infant son this winter. I met with Nathaniel Elie. I wanted to look at a car I saw online. He was very busy that day and i thought I would be blown off cause so many car salespeople I meet are pushy and only care about the sale. I filed bankruptcy a few years ago and wasn't sure they would even work with me. I worked hard to get my credit straight and decided to give it a try. Nathaniel was a humble guy. He let me know he was there for me. He told me he has a passion for helping people and will help me anyway he can. Alot of people were asking for him that day, that tells you something about him. The financial guy was working on getting me some terms I can work with and nathaniel kept running to me and opologizing it was taking so long. Like i said i had a bankruptsy on my credit score and they trying so hard to make this work for me. They made me an offer. I was worried the payments were a bit high. they had already dropped the price a lot. They asked me the bank I use and offered to call them to maybe get me a better payment because my bank knows me on a personal level. The whole time Nathaniel over saw what was going on. He talked to me about how alot of people go through tough times. and deserve another chance. The whole sales crew was devoted to helping me. I may decide not to get that Car. But I will be back regardless to find the perfect car that fits my needs and finances. I would recommend Poulin Auto to anyone who doesn't want to be pushed and wants to make a good decision when buying a car.

My husband had no credit, and my grandfather recently got a truck from poulin auto and recommended us to try them. I am glad we did, they worked as hard as they could to get my husband into a truck and they did it! All the people there are so nice. My husband is now a proud owner of a dodge truck. We found a truck online, for 14,755. So we made the hour and a half drive to check it out. We liked but but now they were going to charge us a little under 18,000! The salesperson said the price online was a mistake( couple days later they STILL haven't changed the online price) so we left.i left a review on their facebook and an hour later we got a voicemail from the guy saying my review was incorrect and I needed to put the right info up.very rude. THEN started to comment on my review trying to make it seem like I was wrong and lying. That company is very unprofessional! Never have I been so offended by a company!!!

In steady of spending it with my family I spent my birthday with the lovely sales lady charay beard. she helped me by walking me through every step to help me get into this maroon 2009 jeep commander that I loved as soon as I drove up to the lot. Her sales attitude was focus and perseverance she was determined to get me in that vehicle to make it mine and make my dream of having my very own rig a reality. Each staff member stood out and was kind and curtious and had a welcoming vibe everyone at poulin auto sales gives their all every day to help you get in a new vehicle. They try to make each sale a memeory and make it so that the customers leave happy and satisfied. Well, I had lots of restrictions going into buying my car and Charay was my sales person and she was fantastic! Any complications I had she immediately went out of her way to uncomplicate it. I felt like family walking in. Everyone was so inviting, warm, and very friendly! They gave my a wicked deal on my car and Brad Gilman worked very hard to get me this car! We called Poulin after our only vehicle started falling apart little by little. We discussed what was going on and how we needed a new vehicle as soon as possible. Charay said she would do whatever she could to help us. We sent her the information she needed and when we went to meet with her she told us that a car just came in the day before. It was perfect timing. We went and test drove the car and we signed all the paper work and walked or should I say drove away with our new 2006 Chevy Malibu. If it wasn't for Charay, Brad and Poulin Auto Sales we would not have known what we were going to do and would not have gotten a car when we did or for the great deal we got it for. I recently purchased a 2011 Honda Civic from Poulin Auto. The entire experience was completely stress free, and I ended up with the car of my dreams at an excellent price. I am a very happy with my experience at Poulin Auto! Tina was awesome to work with! While waiting for them to come up with cars that were in my price range, she offered me coffee (which I never say no to). She even drove to Barre City School for me with the paperwork that I needed to still sign. Very sweet. So thankful to have met her! The manager Brad was also awesome to work with. He was able to bring down my payment to the bare minimum. I felt like he understood my financial situation and would do anything that he could to work with me. Definitely go there! Don't go anywhere else. I promise you won't be disappointed!

I went to Poulin Auto Sales by finding them online and having a friend of my recommend them to me. I went in not expecting anything, I used to work for a dealership and know how the sales game usually goes. I walked in ready for high pressure sales and ready to make sure that this dealer knew that I was not one that could be had. When I walked in, I was greeted by Sarah Vincent. I told her exactly what I was looking for and the information on the mini van that I found online. She asked me a few questions as to why I was looking at that particular vehicle. After talking for a little bit, she said that she was going to get me pre-approved for and then would show me some vehicles that would work with the necessity of having more room for my family and my very tight budget. 10 minutes later, we were going on a test drive in a beautiful van, the one that I wanted in the first place. After the test drive, I let her know that I wanted it, but was unsure that I would be able to get financing as my credit was really poor. While we waited for the outcome of financing, I had asked her what she thought that the deliver date would be for the vehicle so that I could schedule time off of work to pick it up. They made sure that I had my new van THAT DAY!!!!! And with payments that were very close to what I wanted. I drove away from Poulin in a state of shock and awe. I have never had a car buying experience like this in my life. This was by far the easiest and stress free car purchase ever. They can be sure that when I am ready for a new car that I will be returning to them to buy it. Thank you so much for showing me that cut throat sales is not the only way that you have to deal with when buying a new vehicle.

However, when it was time to sign the paperwork, we felt rushed by the manager. He didn't address our concerns or explain things well. We were very happy with the dealership for the most part. However, we would have preferred the manager to be more helpful and considerate.

I had been looking for a car for my daughter and thought of Matt Hill who is a sales person at Poulin Auto. I made contact and the same day I had bought a car. Matt was very knowledgeable, had everything ready when we arrived, and knowing that I had a very short time frame to do business, he went out of his way to expedite the process. When I requested putting the car on the lift for a look....it was...no problem, let's go! Everyone was friendly, extremely courteous and professional. The price that I paid for the car was actually well within book value and we were able to purchase an extended warrantee.

Going to Poulin Auto Sales was one of the best decisions that I have ever made! The staff was extremely friendly and Matt already had a car picked out for me just from our discussion on the phone. I was referred to Poulin Auto Sales by a local friend (who had purchased a vehicle there) and was skeptical, as the dealership was over two hours away from my home. Upon contacting the dealership I was greeted by a friendly, professional, and helpful staff, who encouraged me to shop on their website for a vehicle that was exactly what I wanted. After a few days, I emailed about a particular vehicle they had on their website, and I was contacted directly by the GM. After a quick conversation, he recommended a very similar vehicle that he had recently taken in, but that was even closer to exactly what I was looking for. He assured me of the vehicles quality, walked me through its service history, offered to deliver the vehicle to my house free of charge, and after submitting my credit application online, called me back to let me know that my payment was going to be EVEN LOWER than I had wanted. The servicing of the vehicle took longer than expected, and when I notified the dealership that I would be without a vehicle the following morning, the GM himself drove the vehicle two and a half hours, to deliver it to my house at almost 1am in the morning to ensure it was there before I needed it.....complete with the winter mats, and rain guards that I had requested! I couldn't say enough about the service I received, and would never recommend that anyone I know purchase a vehicle from anywhere else!

First and foremost, I have never had such a wonderful experience with a car dealership. I have dealt with Poulin Auto Sales in the past and had a decent experience, but today's visit was more than I could have hoped for. We showed up to explore our options in trading in our current car and getting into something with lower monthly payments. Celeste and Dave were simply AMAZING. They were friendly, knowledgeable and, more importantly, I didnt feel pressured into anything. They worked with us to find a car that best suited our needs, was affordable, and was a safe and reliable option for us and our little one on the way. Within about 3 hours we left the lot with a 2012 Kia Forte, with lower monthly payments than we had on our previous car. I am completely impressed by the work these two did and I would most certainly reccommend Poulin Auto Sales to anyone in the market for a vehicle.

I had a overall great experience with Poulin Auto Sales! I found the staff to be very friendly, and went over every step of the car buying process with me thoroughly, although this was not my first time buying a car. The team found me a great vehicle that had all of the things I wanted, and needed. In the end I bought a '07 Toyota Corolla S. A special Thank you to Ashley for the many hours you spent last night while I tried the 2012 and then the 2005 and then you stayed late making sure the insurance on my new van was in order and the whole transaction was good. I really love the 2005 Town and Country Van. It rides and drives nice. No it isn't perfect, its 9 years old but, its the perfect car for my work and my family at a payment I can handle. I have been searching for a different vehicle for a while and had been to Poulin's before. I had submitted online a car that I was looking for and Celeste had called me asking me about why I wanted the car that I did. Later that day she called back telling me that there was a Ford Edge on the lot now that had just come in. My credit is not the best and I didn't have the extra money to put anything down to help. I had to walk away from the edge. Even though that I didn't get that particular car, Poulin's was still talking to banks and trying to get something to work for me. Nate called me one day and told me that he had found a bank that would work with us and that soemone one was down in Conn. looking for an Edge. He asked me if there was any other vehicile I would consider if they couldn't find one. I told him the only other one was a Nissan Pathfinder. Well he called me later and told me that they had a 2012 Pathfinder on the lot and that we had a bank that would wrok for us. The next day I went up to test drive it and fell in love with it which I knew I would as I had owned a Pathfinder years ago and loved it. Needless to say I drove off the lot with the Pathfinder. I want to say a huge Thank you to Celeste, Matt and Nate for getting me into a vehicle I absoultely love.

The whole thought of buying a vehicle and having a car payment is overwhelming to me.I contacted Celeste Brasseur to become pre approved before going into look at vehicles, although I knew what I was looking for in a vehicle. Being honest with Celeste about what I was looking for in a vehicle and what I would negotiate on for options was extremely helpful, it also helped Celeste and Dan be better prepared for me when we arrived. Celeste was amazing, considerate and patient with me. When I went to look at my new vehicles, Celeste had a salesman waiting for me and a vehicle all set for me to test drive. Dan Casavant was great! He was very, very patient, considerate, helpful and respectful of myself and my children. He walked me through the vehicle and all its options. Through out the entire process, the staff was amazing with my children. Dan went above and beyond to help me with my children while I was signing all the paperwork, helpful with getting me all set for our drive home. The service department allowed them to watch cartoons, Dan tried to keep them occupied, Celeste found them blocks to build with. I can not stress enough how helpful everyone was with my family. This is the biggest reason why I would highly recommend Poulin Auto of Barre when looking for your next vehicle. By the way, I love my new car!!

The team at Poulin Auto worked very hard and managed to get me financing despite the fact that I have poor credit, a low down payment and have only been at my job for two weeks. They are an excellent group of people who will listen to your concerns and find the best fit for you. You get treated like a human instead of just a commission check. The made sure I was comfortable during my wait. They got out coloring books, crayons and puzzles to keep my 2 1/2 year old and 20 month old busy and happy. They are absolutely wonderful and I would most definitely recommend them to anyone in the market for a car.

I had spoken/emailed with Ashley quite a bit and told her what I really wanted to do with a trade in I had and what kind of vehicle I wanted before actually coming in and looking at just any vehicle. I was probably being a pain and shouldn't have been so picky since I wasn't really in a place financially or credit wise to have so many demands lol. I am also a severe procrastinator. Finally, I went in to see Ashley and we spoke and she had someone look at my trade in and then she said "I think I have a vehicle you might like". I said "Of course you do" very skeptical of the whole "used car" lines. Naturally, she pulls around in the exact vehicle I was looking for. A little newer than I could I afford, I knew right away. We went to her desk and joked around while the trade value came back and sure enough they offered me A LOT more than I had truly anticipated. With my credit not being the greatest and a little waiting game the numbers finally worked out to make the wife happy and I drove home in my new truck. Ashley was VERY personable and real. During our test drive she explained how the management team and sales department are trying to rebuild the image and reputation of Poulin Auto to the local community. I think with the effort and dedication Ashley put in to get me what I needed, and to not quit on me, was enough for me to believe that Poulin Auto is hiring the right people to reshape their image. On a side note I was verbally told that the bumper, which had some rust on it, was going to be replaced. Come to find out it is only being repaired and was written up as only being repaired. I thought was a little sneaky but....and yes I am still procrastinating on setting up that appointment. I can here Ashley now reminding me to call in! As a returning customer I was already aware of the great service I could expect. The sales team was very good about helping us get a car that would be exactly what we needed and worked hard to get financing close to the perimeters I needed. They were very kind and respectful at all times. I was a little surprised to get a phone call telling me that they were successful getting me financing but not for the car that we had test driven and agreed upon. I expect it was just an unfortunate choice of words. I think the sales staff just wanted us to be certain we had explored other options so we were certain we had the right car for us. We, without a hitch, got the car we intended without any pressure thanks in large part to Nathan, so very much appreciated.

Ron, the service manager was very helpful. Honest and straight forward as to what the problems were and what caused the problems. He helped to get me the best deal on the repairs that the car needed. The work was done in a short period of time for the amount that needed to be done. Ron even had a good talk with my 18 year old son on how to treat and more importantly not treat the vehicle. Jeff, the sales manager, gave me a credit on the exhaust system repairs even though it was not covered under the warranty. I will continue to have this vehicle serviced at Poulin even though it is a 45 min. drive from my home.

I truly have mixed feelings about this dealership, while I said i would recommend it there are business ethics I didn't like. I'll start with the positive first... Having not the best credit poulin auto does work with that, they all were very friendly to talk too, and being that I lived far away the salesman even offered to drive an hour and half to pick me up! I have to say it was this gesture that made me decide to travel an hour and a half and go with this company! While I left with a vehicle ..I wasn't that happy when leaving. The salesman I dealt with in my opinion lied to me in an email stating I qualified for a certain car and when I drove all the way up there suposedly that car wasn't available but yet it was on the lot. Also it seemed the only vehicles I qualified for were the the ones that I'm sure had been sitting there forever due to check engine lights on or some sort of mechanical issue. I even had a good amount to put down. I would have walked away if I had not driven so far to get there! Needless to say I left with a vehicle I wasnt very excited about at first . I love my suv now but really wish they were upfront with me in the beginning before I got there and was able to pick a vehicle I was happy to purchase within a price point.

While on a 'ride' to a business appointment the battery light came on. We pulled into this business and proceeded to be continually surprised by the friendliness and professionalism directed towards us. They took us right in, diagnosed the problem, located the part needed and got to work ! We had an appointment to get to and since there was no Loaner car available, they offered to drive my husband 45 minutes, one way, to be sure he got to his appointment. I waited for the car to be done and discussed another 'issue' we had been dealing with....Again, they went right to work, diagnosed the issue and proceeded to fix that also.....In their waiting room they have two large comfy sofas........quite relaxing when you have an unexpected wait for approx 3 hours.....large screen TV..... no clock !! to fixate on --cudos to them ! ......While waiting, one of the Employees asked me if he could buy me lunch (after I asked him to retireve my almonds from the car)....Overall the experience was as enjoyable as it could have been. For a Traveler to have to 'pop in' to a local sales/service location where you do not know anyone can be quite intimidating ..................The folks at Poulins not only fixed our car, but also made us feel very relaxed and confident that we were being taking care of both professionally and honestly. THANK YOU !

they were great i have credit score of around 600 told they could not do anything that day but they would work on it an call me later. they called 2 days latter an said we found a loan for u with no money down just trade in for my car an we were driveing away with our new 2006 jeep liberty by the end of the day thanks guys ur company has come a long way from what it was 10 years ago i would buy from them any time an will after i pay this jeep off thanks again guys amazying service they show that they will not stop untill u have a new car not many companys can say that but Poulin Auto Sales in barre vermont can

I bought a car from here that had a check engine light on so they "claimed" to fix it then a couple 2-3 months later I brought the car back to be inspected..thats right they didn't bother doing it before they sold it. The exhaust needed work and they had to replace the o2 sensor which they had supposedly fixed before even though there sales person said don't worry it runs good probably a silly sensor (which you need for inspection) anyways when comfronted with why I was paying for something that they had just done, they flat out lied to me and said my car had 2 o2 sensors. The total bill in excess of 400 dollars just a couple months after I had bought it from the same place. They are "built on commitment" only problem is they are committed to ripping people off. While we waited for hours for the work to be done they wouldn't provide me with a loaner vehicle to take my 8 month pregnant wife to get lunch, obviously I didn't expect 4.5 hours of work to be needed after just buying the car. The whole place is a joke.

Jason has been great to deal with. He has, so far have gone over and beyond to try to get my wife and I into a vehicle that we are trying to come up with our down payment. He has really gone to bat for my wife and I. I would recommend him to any of my friends. He has held a vehicle for us for over 4 weeks. I recently purchased a vehicle at Poulin in Barre and I must say I was completely blown away with how easy it was given my credit situation. They worked with me side by side until the very end and answered all my questions and concerns. I was a little hesitant at first, but like they always say you can't judge a book by it's cover. I will be back when my oldest needs her first vehicle!
