We had bad experience with service manager 10 years ago and dealt with dealership farther away. But we wanted manual transmission Elantra and only one available was at Prestige. Went to look at it with the idea of ordering it from the dealership farther away but Gerry, the salesman, was not pushy, and assured us changes had been made in service department. So we got a great price and bought the 2017 Elantra 6 Speed on the lot and are giving Prestige service a second chance. Love the car. Only thing I wish it had was cruise control. I am happy with just the CD and radio, and trying out Sirius Radio. I don't need all the other bells and whistles. Just a stick and a CD to keep me happy.

Bought an Elantra last week. The sales person, Susan was very helpful in finding the right car to best suite my needs. I test drove both an Elantra and a Sonata, and bought the Elantra. Susan described the features of both cars but never pressured me one way or another. The only part of the buying process I did not like was when signing the final paperwork being presented with several optional service plans. That should have happened a day or two before so that I could have had more time to think about whether or not any of these plans would be a benefit to me.

I applied for pre qualification online. Chris got back to me quickly, and made an appointment around my needs for availability. The car I originally wanted was sold, but he managed to find what I wanted, in a better model, with far less miles for close to the same price of the previous car! I got exactly what I wanted and more. Brian made sure to get the loan I needed at a low rate with the payments I wanted. As much as that is part of my own credit score, he made sure to work to get the best financing available, not the first offer. I would highly recommend anyone to get their next purchase or lease from these guys. They are a stellar team at this location.

Traded in our 2010 Elantra for a new 2016 Sonata. The Elantra was a good car with a very low cost of ownership. The new Sonata should be good too. The detailing of the car upon me receiving it was not to my satisfaction. The windows were filthy (severe streaking marks)and the interior portion of the doors were very dirty. I also noticed after getting home the rear back tire is missing a cap to the pressure valve. I was also suppose to get a call back from Chris this past Saturday, and unfortunately this didnt happen.

I'm 91 and a tough cookie. I originally wanted a Tucson. Gerry recommended a sedan. My wife has trouble getting up into a suv. His patience was great. I came back lots of times to check out different cars. I did have to work around his schedule. He has lots of customers. Deserves them too. He even called my wife at home to see if she had questions. They don't sugar coat anything or try to sell you anything you don't want. It was so unexpected to actually be able to talk to a person instead of a stereotypical salesperson motivated by fulfilling their quota. They're honest where others are not! The same truck I purchased I was quoted over $1000 more for less features from Johnstons toyota. Not a big deal. Its when johnstons built in 3 extra payments and overvalued my trade to make the numbers work in their favor that I am totally disgusted and Chris and Brian brought that to my attention. Their online inventory is in stock unlike Johnstons who told me the truck was in stock online when really it was to be there the following week and didn't end up there until 2 weeks later. There's no nonsense, no waiting for a salesperson, and all around it was the most comfortable buyin experience I've ever had!

My wife and I are expecting our first child. We decided to get a minivan. After extensive research, we knew that we wanted a Toyota Sienna. We were going to buy a brand new one, but found that Prestige had one that was less than a year old with 2,500 miles on it! We couldn't find another one within a 250 mile radius with such low mileage! The price was also the lowest within the 250 mile radius. Our friend who has sold our family Toyota vehicles over the past 40 years (at another dealership) told us she couldn't beat that price and to go pick it up. We drove almost 3 hours from CT and found the Sienna was flawless. Gerry helped us through the entire process and was constantly communicating with us until it was time for us to take delivery. Gerry made sure our Sienna was clean and there wasn't a scratch on it. He also sat in the van with us and showed us how to work all of the controls. Gerry is very knowledgeable because this van probably has more controls than a NASA space shuttle and he knew how to work them all. Gerry even reached out the day after our purchase to make sure we made it back to CT okay and to make sure we were satisfied. He was very courteous and not high pressure at all. The dealership also gave us a very fair price for my trade in (I researched the value of it before walking into the Prestige showroom and they gave us more than what our friend from the other Toyota dealership offered us). Unfortunately, Prestige is too far away for us to have our vehicle serviced there, however we will definitely return when it is time to replace our other vehicle (a Highlander) in a few years. If you are looking for a comfortable buying experience, CALL GERRY!

The buying experience was made stress free, hassle free and drama free thanks to Prestige's already set low pricing structure. No need to haggle like I had been a few dealerships before. I had spent many hours on-line looking for a dealership that was not inflating sale prices. And after just coming from another dealership in Albany that felt like a meat market (besides the young salesman who couldn't tell me the price of any car even when I asked twice. He just kept throwing keys in my face saying "Lets go for a test drive) it was a pleasure to meet my Prestige sales rep Gina Marie. She was awesome! Kind, friendly and very patient. Answering all my questions and going the extra mile to make sure I understood all concerning the cars I was interested in and the pricing structure down to the very generious warranty details. I ended up in a mint 2014 Pacific Blue Sonata with low miles (33,000k) and made sparkling clean (even the engine) when I picked up, just as Gina Marie promised. Also the owner and finance managers were equally kind, patient and discussed things in a professional and personable manner. And to boot in no time at all handled the paper work, getting my plates from DMV, registration and even dealing with my insurance company to get updated cards. 5 Star Experience and I recommended anyone within a 50 mile radius to make the trip to Kingston. You'll be much happier if you do.

My 2015 Tucson is the second vehicle I have purchased from Prestige. I really appreciate the no pressure sales staff. Josh Spiro patiently listened to my wish list for a new car and explained all my options, from used, certified used, new or lease. I test drove the Tucson and was surprised that it had all of the features that I loved on my Santa Fe and then some. It's great to be able to purchase a car without feeling pushed. Brian McCarthy walked me through the lease vs purchase details. Brian made the financing process smooth and painless and Josh went over all the features of the vehicle with me, and followed up after the sale to make sure all was well. I bought my used Hyundai Santa Fe at Prestige Hyundai in March of 2015, since then, I have returned with 2 family members, who have also ended up purchasing vehicles here. Our salesperson, Christopher Hall, treats us like family and makes the buying process soooo easy and fun. Last week when I went in with my mom, we had an 11am appointment, didn't need to wait, test drove some cars and within an hour she had purchased a Tucson. We live about an hour away, but the finance manager, Brian, fast tracked all of the paperwork so we could drive the car home at 4pm on that same day. Truly a sign and drive experience! I will not go anywhere else to purchase a vehicle and will continue recommending Chris and Prestige to all of my friends and family until everyone is driving a Hyundai! I cannot express fully in words just how much I absolutely LOVED my experience at Prestige in Kingston, both on the Hyundai side and on the Toyota side. Even if you are looking at a Hyundai, if no one is available, someone from the Toyota end will come over and FULLY assist you, which is what happened in my case. Prestiges sales force wages is not based on commission; therefore, the environment in the showroom and on the car lot is refreshingly stress-free. Further, they do not advertise, word of mouth is their bread and butter and those savings are passed down to the consumer, which everyone should love!!! My saleswoman, Kristen Morrell (office on the Toyota side) is amazing. She is no-nonsense, well-spoken and highly educated in the brands and the full process of buying, or in my case, leasing a vehicle. I had every option given to me and she made sure that I understood it all and was able to take advantage of every offer/bonus available to me. I also loved the fact that Kristen genuinely likes her job and where she is. Her confidence in Prestige and what the dealership has to offer along with confidence in the brands she recommends to people made it a no-brainer that this is where I just needed to buy my vehicle. SO, if you want a stress-free, refreshingly simple way to buy/lease a (new) vehicle, I would highly recommend stopping by Prestige Hyundai/Toyota Kinston and seeing Kristen Morrell. Everything fine but as a Hyundai dealer they should inform you that the new Elantra's do not come with a spare tire, "donut or otherwise". It come with an inflatable tire kit but they are marginal at best. Hyundai does have two spare tire kits available.

Had a several problems with my 2010 Hyundai Santa Fa, Paid 1400 dollars to get the catalytic converter fixed. Had a problem with transmission at 9500 miles, brought to dealer was sent away and was told they could not help me. Transmission get worse, brought back after 100000 miles and was told that they could not help me because warranty had expired even thou I brought the problem to their attention before that. appealed to corporate headquarter, after being without a car to drive for almost a mount they told me I was not a loyal customer and they would not cover it. The service manager at Prestige Hyundai in not very nice to people and has a poor attitude. would never buy another Hyundai product ever again, especially at this dealer ship.

Brought vehicle for second time because of faulty air bag sensor in passenger seat. Service manager's attitude was poor at best. Was told the first time that airbag would work even though light said air bag was off. After checking with another service department I was told that this was not only a wrong answer but it was irresponsible and potentially catastrophic in the event of a collison. Most recently the service manager seemed clueless as what to do and offered no remedy other than he'll speak to his rep. He made no committment to fix the problem and wouldnt schedule another appt. Stating he would call when he had more info. Now, almost 2 weeks later i still have the same problem with no committment to fix it! Inoperable air bag seems like an urgent problem to me. Maybe a complaint to the local newspapers is in order, or maybe a letter the the National Highway Safety Board......what do you think?

Let me start by saying that I HATE car dealerships. I have never had a good experience at one. Paul the salesman was outstanding. I told him what I wanted and he got it for me exactly. No nonsense. He didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't want or that i couldn't afford. Then he gave me to Liz the business agent who explained everything to me and wasn't pushy about the options I had. I bought the car I wanted and plan on buying my next car there as well. I would recomend this dealership AND these two associates to anyone who asked. An excellent car buying experience from a person who can't stand buying cars at dealerships. If there were stars, I would give them all 5!

My Subaru had 120,000 miles and my husband bought a truck this year, so it was my turn. I knew I was looking for a sports car- I went to the Ford dealer and drove a Mustang; I went to the Corvette dealer and drove the low/middle class affordable model; I went to Prestige to test drive the Genesis after seeing the commercial on TV starring the 3.8 premium and Smashing Pumpkins Billy Croghan making donuts in the sun. Now I know why Billy had an ear to ear smile on his face- loved it! Add the excellent salesman, George, to the mix at Prestige and I was walking out the door with the Genesis coupe.

Since I had purchased that car several years ago at Prestige, I decided to go back there when I finally got serious about getting a car. Robert was very helpful and friendly, and very quickly came up with the car that fit my needs and was within my budget. I had promised a salesman at another dealership that I would check with him before I purchased from someone else, but after test driving the Sonata, I knew I was going to buy that car. Robert helped expedite the process, and the manager actually got me a better rate than I got through the credit union. I would highly recommend Prestige to anyone looking to buy a car!

I had a terrific experience with this dealership and their staff. My husband and I were looking for a new car under the "Cash for Clunkers" program, and I was overwhelmed by all of the paperwork that we needed. Lauren was fantastic! She clearly explained the documentation that was needed and kept calling me to make sure that we were on track, since the federal government's deadline for submission was approaching quickly. In particular, we had great difficulty in getting a release of lien letter, and she personally went to bat for us by telephoning the company herself and getting it to expedite. Otherwise, we would have lost our financing through the "Clunkers" program. In short, she was the one who made this deal happen through sheer determination!Even before that, she patiently worked with us to make sure that we got a car that fit our needs and our budget. She was energetic and tireless----always polite and good-natured during a time when she and the other salespeople were coping with tremendous demands on both time and patience.Once we finalized our deal and got our paperwork (just under the wire!), we met with Paolo (PJ) who was also a pleasure to deal with. He, too, methodically explained our various financing options, warranties, etc., even though he had many other applicants to meet with that day.Finally, Kenny from the service department explained the future maintenance schedule, offered to show us the service department, and was generally courteous, informative, professional, and very nice.This was a completely positive experience, and I can't say enough to praise this dealership and the people I met there. I needed a car fast when my truck broke down. After hearing about 'Cash for Clunkers' I started shopping, but found out I did not meet all the necessary criteria. After not being presented an alternative offer else where, a friend at work recommended a Hyundai and to go see Robert Rolleri at Prestige Hyundai. He said Robert would make it easy to find and purchase a car. Also other acquaintances who are owners of older Hyundai's have stated the reliability and longevity of the Hyundai's. I called Paul up on Tuesday from out of town letting him know that I was looking for a new car. Wednesday morning he called to get info on exactly what I wanted and did my credit check. Thursday he called saying he had found a car meeting my exact requests and more, got me a deal that was less than I had originally asked for and had all the insurance paperwork in order. I picked up the car Saturday morning, at my earliest convenience and was more than happy with the ease of signing papers and learning all about my new Elantra.
