Absolutely awful experience. Purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from them about 5 months ago. They saw we had two very young kids and we mentioned that we needed a good family car as we were about to travel to Arizona. Not a huge issue securing the vehicle, but within 24 hours I noticed issues with the rotors. I called and they tried to say it was normal. My husband calls and it becomes no issue to get it looked at. Fast forward we are here in Arizona to get an alignment and tire change and I find out that the complete undercarriage of my car is totally rusted. I was told by two different mechanics and a collision center that my vehicle is not safe to drive. I was also told that there is absolutely no way that it would have rusted like this in the time we have had it. It needs $23,000+ in repairs. Not to mention the emergency brake cable broke from rust and I have no emergency break line. When I called to talk to Ed, not only did he talk down to me, but he kept telling me it is because we have drove it 11,000 miles. Almost feels like he thinks I am not smart enough to know that rust does accumulate over miles. Basically, DO YOUR RESEARCH and check a vehicle over way more than you think you should if you chose to buy from them. They will take advantage of you. They may tell you they are family men and appreciate the military, but they will take advantage of you so fast. In Response to the dealer: Obviously the E-break is not the only issue we had, as I have explained to Ed on the phone countless times. I also have a breakdown of everything needing fixed. I also told Ed about the multiple people I talked to. I understand I drove it 11,000 as had explained numerous times, rust DOES NOT just magically appear after 5 months. Also as I explained, MO does not do inspections on vehicles less that 10 years old. While you may try to downplay the condition of this vehicle, I have more than enough pictures and breakdowns of what is rusted. So again I say to any consumers in the area BUYER BEWARE

The process from start to finish was very easy and quick. Jay was very awesome and understanding. I appreciated all the hard work he put in for me. He went above and beyond to ensure I was able to get the car I wanted. I would def. go back and highly recommend.

I brought a car from here 4 months ago from Jay. the AC started leaking water from inside the car on the passenger seat. I took it apart to drain it and a whole load of water came out. The AC started working again and then just stopped due to all the water in it which lead to the blower motor not working, and then the car itself started making a VERY LOUD noise now the car is non-drivable. THEY SELL LEMONS DO NOT COME HERE !!

BUYER BEWARE. This is the most unprofessional car dealer we have ever worked with and they caused my family, AAA, and State Farm incredible stress and extra work for no reason. (Everyone worked overtime to make this happen fast). Prestige Pre-Owned Motors in New Windsor, NY, is one of the reasons that used car dealers have a bad name. (Although we have always found good dealers elsewhere, before this, so have faith.) My 20 year old son chose a car there, got a purchase agreement, and then got a AAA loan and took out insurance on the car. Suddenly, the owners totally ghosted us for four days. My son had to get an emergency last minute ride to college (the new car was his ride and the dealer, Jay, knew this and promised he would make it happen). My son was already paying a loan and insurance on the new car from this dealer!!! Jay Yarber made up high-drama stories about why they could not respond to us. Then, after 4 days of begging for a reply and Jay and Ed ghosting us, Jay sent an email saying the car was no longer available. When my son already had a loan and insurance on it! As per their agreement! Unbelievable. (So.... no time to let us pick the car up or respond to us on when we could, but time to sell it to someone else? Clearly, he and his partner Ed think we have an extremely low IQ). Unfortunately, we had seen other reviews saying that these people lied to and scammed people, and that they have no problem screwing families over, but I figured, things happen, surely they could not stay in business if they were that bad. Nope. They do and they are. The warnings were all obviously true. Do yourself a huge favor, don't ignore this one. Even if they "let" you actually pick your car up or they fix a car for you, do you really feel comfortable buying a car from a dealership like this? Or letting them fix the car you depend on for work, school, errands, travel? I hope you heed our warning, I wish I had listened to other customers. Good luck with your car search. There are still other good dealers out there! **SCROLL DOWN TO FIND ALL THE ONE STAR REVIEWS FROM OTHERS.** (While the bad reviews ring true, I am highly suspicious of any good reviews, many of which have the same "voice" and sound made up. Do your research). In response to the dealer's reply: More fabrications. It seems to be a habit with these folks. We never had an appointment, not even once. Jay simply told us their hours and we said we were coming in to pick the car up. My son and I literally updated them every few hours as to when that would be and they said fine. When my son called from my car saying we were on our way now to get it (after giving updates every few hours), Jay said not to come because he was leaving 2 hours early now. We were not having "trouble" securing funds. AAA was short staffed and just took a few hours longer than expected, as did State Farm for insurance (48 hours from both), and we let Jay know this and he said FINE. Why mislead us? No reason for that. Furthermore, my son went to this dealer with cash in hand and Jay said not necessary to make a deposit. I was very suspicious of that. Who does not take a deposit? Spidey sense. There were red flags. I warned my son to look elsewhere but my son is an innocent, so he got scammed. Trust your gut. On the bright side, I'm sure we dodged a bullet, since customers who have bought cars at Prestige Pre-Owned, report many problems down the line. Phew.
