Second time around and let me state...just as good as the first time. Imagine going to shop for a used car, right off the bat, your a bit hesitant and fearful of a bad deal. Well then, come to Project One. The sales office is comfortable and the staff first rate. A huge indoor showroom with a large selection of quality used vehicles, and here's the best part...no sales people following you around, chatting you up. So your free to look at and inspect whatever vehicle you choose. They even encourage you to bring in your own mechanic to check on your desired vehicle. Ask whatever questions come to mind and you'll find that these folks have no attitude or problems answering your questions. They honestly allow you to be the only determining factor in what YOU want to purchase, not what they want to sell.In my opinion this is probably the best way to shop for any new or pre owned car.Honestly if your looking for a good used car give Project One your first shot, if they have what your looking for, you just might be pleasantly surprised

I admit I was skeptical, not knowing what to expect. I've read so many horror stories about people getting screwed by bad dealers and fake reviews but I liked what I read about this group and thought I'd give them a shot since they had just posted my dream car on their site. I'm so glad I did - Elvin was great! Very professional from start to finish. What impressed me most was when he said "feel free to have your mechanic look at the car or you can also bring it around the corner to the Toyota dealership and have them inspect it before you buy it. He actually refused to take a deposit until we checked it out, were 100% satisfied and ready to take the next step! They also offer a 30 day warranty and you can purchase an extended one if you want. There were no hidden fees (just the dock fee - which is fine) and they were a true pleasure to work with. I would most definitely recommend them to anyone and would also buy from them again. I LOVE my 2008 Solara!!

This was my first time buying a used car, but I needed to downsize what I had to something more suitable for living in a city. I walked into the garage before I found the front office, and I got nervous. It wasn't like the new car dealers I was used to. When I sat down, I saw that there were magazines from 2013, and I got even more nervous. But then I started chatting with Elvin and he made it so easy. Buying cars can be a harrowing experience, but Elvin made it quick and painless. He took care of everything! I was really impressed with how simple he made it. I knew exactly what I wanted, and Elvin helped me get it. Shame on me for judging the place before I got to know it. Found a car through CarFax that was a great deal, much better than where I am currently located. I sent someone to check out the car and filled out the credit pre-approval, which I got approved that night. The next day, I traveled 4 hours to the dealership and it was definitely worth the trip. I took the car for a test drive and had a family friend's mechanic check it out. His only comment was that it could use new tires, so Project One actually mailed some to my house. Back at the dealership everything was very simple, John went over the details and answered any questions. They don't try and push anything extra on you. Even my grandpop said it was the best car buying experience he's ever witnessed. Highly recommended.

On their website they state 3 DAY BUY BACK GUARANTEE. When I called and asked about it, they said there is no buy back guarantee - only that you can have your mechanic check it or pay for it to go to local mechanic. When I asked him wasn't that misleading since it's CLEARLY on their website, he responded with "there is no 3 day buy back guarantee and we can't take it off the website". Why would you place that on your website if you aren't going to follow it? Not right at all. And the gentleman on the phone actually had the nerve to give me an attitude when I asked about what was clearly written on his website!

This was the best car dealership for pre owned cars I ever experienced. John Armstrong was my salesperson and he was very cordial and polite. John was professional, not pushy, zero haggling and knew what he was doing. The dealer location was in an industrial park type warehouse, located not too far from Giants stadium. The warehouse has numerous high end and regular cars under their roof. Their integrity is 5 star. They agreed to a price that I gave them after their initial offer for my previous car; that amount gave me a nice down payment to purchase my Audi S4. That day they had 3 Audi S4's and all were pristine in condition.Project One hands down has the best business model out there. Maybe the traditional used car and new car dealers should seriously take note of that business model. I will never ever go back to the old school car dealers ever again. The days of polyester salespeople is ending!! Thanks to Project one.

This was hands down, the best experience I have ever had purchasing a car. The service department was excellent - quick, efficient, cost effective. They answered all my questions and emails courteously and promptly. I bought my vehicle, sight unseen, which i was reluctant to do. However the purchase price was so competitive, it made sense and the car only had 22k. Even the delivery men were extremely professional. The most painless car purchase I have ever experienced! Upfront with all fees - what they quote is what you pay. I was able to test drive the vehicle alone which I prefer. There is a great industrial park located close to the dealership so I was able to take the car for a thorough ride. Did my financing through Project One as well. When picking up the vehicle it took all of 20 minutes just to complete forms. My last new car purchase took over two hours to walk out of the dealership! Everyone I dealt with was very professional. My plates were mailed to m e so no need to return to pick them up. Even though the car was prepped prior to pick up it could have been detailed a little better. Overall a great buying experience and I would not hesitate in purchasing another vehicle from Project One in the future.

Purchased a 2015 Porsche Cayman S from Project One last November. By far the best deal I could find in the entire country! Car listed for $78,500 and had only 132 "dealer" miles. Although I could not pick up the car right away, Elvin was able to hold the car with a relatively small deposit. I am looking for another car (Audi A4) and keep coming back to project one in hopes they will have what I am looking for.

My wife and I had been to about 5 typical dealerships on Friday and Saturday and were not happy with some of the experiences we'd had. We saw a 2013 Honda Accord on the web from Project One Auto for a great price and came in. I recently purchased a 2012 Honda Accord from Project One Auto and I could not recommend this dealership enough! As a first time buyer, the process can be intimidating and overwhelming and I was already discouraged before coming to Project One. With previously having a horrible experience at another dealership, I was expecting the same pushy sales tactics. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and taken by John to see the car I came across on their website that very same morning. A total hands-off process, we were given as much time as we needed to check the car inside-out, turn it on, and take it for a test drive with NO pressure whatsoever. Needless to say, the cars at this dealership speak for themselves. The purchasing process was nothing but smooth, honest, and transparent. All of my questions regarding the history of the car, previous owners, maintenance, and all of the paperwork were answered openly by John. This was greatly appreciated being my first time purchasing a vehicle. Not to mention, the fair pricing offered at this dealership. Any doubts or concerns regarding the car I was more than welcome to bring in my own mechanic to check the vehicle before making a purchase, but I fell in love with my car right then. I live on Long Island and was searching online for a very specific vehicle. I found it at Project One and contacted them. I got an immediate response from Elvin Jimenez. I went and saw the car which was exactly what I was looking for and exactly as described by Project One. I told Elvin that it might be four or five weeks before I could purchase the car as I was waiting for an insurance settlement. I came in on Monday spoke with John about some of their vehicles I was interested in and he was more than happy to show them to me and answer my questions. I ended up test driving a Mazda3, which I instantly fell in love with. The next day I called up with some follow up questions and after all my concerns were addressed I was convinced this was the car I was buying. After discussing all the terms, I came in on Wednesday with my down payment, signed some paperwork and left with my new car! The most noteworthy thing about this entire experience was their transparency in their website. All the information you could possibly need is right there for you. I highly recommend them. They are different. Not only their deals are hard to match, they treat you differently. There is no salesman bugging you, they give you time and space, by yourself to look at the car. They don't pester you with calls, and what they say they have in stock they have in stock. Would repeat and recommend.

I inquired about a car I was interested. Before I drove all the way over there, I told them they price they have the car is at is over market value, especially considering the high mileage. They were unwilling to negotiate and gave me a low ball price on my trade. I can understand the trade's low price because they didn't see it, but they did have the vin to see it has no accidents, low miles, and is well maintained. They're response to why the car is priced so high is because it was owned by one of their mechanics. I have a lot of mechanics as friends. They work on cars all day, the last thing they want to do is work on theirs, so 9/10 times mechanics wait until it breaks to fix anything, so yeah that's actually not a selling point for me thank you. This place needs to reevaluate the prices because over 2 months later that car is still sitting on their lot costing them money and the space.

I was assisted by Dan here in checking out a viper. First of all let me say that project one has an AMAZING selection of cars for every budget. I was very impressed with all of the cars they had and the facility overall. Dan was super helpful in answering any questions I had about the car and advising me more as a neutral party rather than a used car salesman which was awesome. I was taken seriously even as a younger buyer and Dan stayed calm and collected during a viper test drive in sub 30 degree weather. I was overall very impressed with the level of service and the quality of this dealer and I can't recommend it enough. I will certainly be back.

First, I really don't write reviews but I was very pleased with the customer service. After having a family van for over 15 years I decided to purchase a newer vehicle and located Project One on the internet. Upon arrival the staff was attentive and answered all of my questions. I was not hounded to purchase a vehicle and was allowed to test drive the car immediately. I can say that I have had the vehicle for about two months now and have had no problems. They even had my new plates sent overnight to my house and this allowed me to go to work and not make an additional trip to the dealer. Very, Very, Pleased and would recommend Project One to anyone interested in making a hassle free purchase. Also purchased the vehicle for a reasonable price.

Got a 2013 smart fortwo from this dealer. It was a easy and simple process. This was my first time financing a car. They were very helpful. Only bad thing was the car condition. They never mentioned the scratches on the car. It was side swiped slightly over the rear wheel well and chipped in the rear bumper. Tire pressure was low on all tires and 2 empty coffee cups inside car. Other than that it was a good experience.

Our car had died and we needed a replacement fairly soon. We contacted many used car dealers as well as "normal" car dealers selling their "pre-owned" cars. Most of them wouldn't give a straight answer over the phone as to the actual price (we wanted to pay cash/no financing) and when we did end up at their location in person, all of a sudden additional fees (some in the thousands) or a higher purchase price, or mandatory options were added to the advertised price. As someone who hates haggling, and car shopping in particular, I detested these tactics. At one dealer, after having made an appointment with a specific sales person, we were left to wait and did leave after 10 minutes, at which point suddenly a sales person appeared. Thanx but no thanx. Project One was completely different. They have used cars only, not brand-specific, have a lot of cars in their warehouse and are pretty easy going. We had pre-selected a few cars via their website and were able to test drive each of them without having to hear a sales pitch. We were informed of each car's price (same as advertised) and the handling fee (a few hundred bucks, which they did mention on their website) and while the sales person was attentive to us, again no sales pressure. We came back a few days later, settled on our final car, procured the bank check for the amount and voila, walked (well, drove :-) out of there with our "new" car. This was a very easy and non-anxiety producing process for me. At no point did I think the sales person needed to sell a car to meet a quota, it was simply: "This is what we have, you are welcome to test drive and look under the hood and do whatever you need to feel comfortable, and if you want to buy it, let's seal the deal." The three people I dealt with were pleasant and knowledgeable. I definitely will go back there for our next car.P.S.: The car was in excellent condition, cleaned well and ready to go.

I recently purchased a Porsche 911 S from Project One. I had rather low expectations since the dealer is an independent business but I was pleasantly surprised to find a very professional staff and well lit facility with lots of space to look at the inventory. As I was out of state and only had limited time to test drive the car, I had called ahead and scheduled a test drive on a Friday night. The car was waiting for me at the door and was all set to go. I was in and out in 45 minutes and had lots of time on the road as the salesman provided a full explanation of the car, its service history, closing costs and financing options. I had the car inspected and Project One offered to replace a fan belt even before I asked. The car was exactly as advertised and flawless. Everything else was done over the phone and in a few days the car was delivered to my door. I would definitely buy from Project One again. I avoided the dealer markup and couldn't be happier.

I did months of research and reviews on different cars. After my disappointment at car dealership I called Project One Auto. All my questions were answered reassurance and information was also given which is a big plus for first time buyer. There is no gimmicks or pressure at selling you a car that your not sure or out of your price range. I felt like so at ease and great with the deal provided. I checked out their website and decided to give them a chance as their prices were at or below that of other dealers in the area. I filled out the pre-approval forms and was contacted right away by Elvin. He walked me through the whole buying process, answered all my questions and was extremely accommodating to me throughout the process. This my 3rd car I purchased from using Cars.com as I love buying used cars and I must say I had a great experience working with Dan and his team at ProjectOne. I grew up in NY but I currently live in Maine and I got myself from Maine to buy this 2012 VW Beetle for my girlfriend. It is a great car and Dan had one with a lot of added extra's and color combo I was looking for and a price that was by far the best as I did the research. The car is great and I would totally recommend ProjectOne and Dan to anyone buying a car. I am someone who actually has friends and family come to me to help them buy cars as they know I am helpful in this area and so I will totally make sure to always reach out to Dan first for options. Myself and my mother who actually picked me up from the airport and drove me to ProjectOne was very impressed with the fully covered facility which protected every car from the weather. I'd much rather see that than cars just sitting out in the sun. rain and snow. I went on ProjectOne's web site looking for a car I went over there met with Dan. I looked at the car took it on a test drive and fell in love with the it. When I use to go with my husband to purchase a new car it took us all day long at the dealership. I was very impressed of how fast the process was, I was in and out of there in about a hour and a half. I would highly recommend Project One to all of my friends and family.

When I finished my test drive the finance docs were waiting for me to sign. The car was in excellent condition just as John described it. This was the easiest car buying experience I have ever been involved in (less than an hour from start to finish, and part of that was caused by a delay from my insurance company). I would buy from these guys again anytime. It was definitely worth the 4 hour drive!

John made my buying experience so easy, pleasant, efficient and pain-free that it felt like a dream! He was super friendly and helpful with none of the usual pressure you would expect from a salesman. I found the car online in the morning (in NJ) and drove it home to Long Island the same night. Got a very fair price for my trade-in and couldn't be happier with my purchase. He sent me extra pictures and provided all the information I needed to decide taking the trip would be worth it. No surprises when I arrived other than to find a beautiful Audi waiting for me. I did a lot of research before buying my car. This is the first time I've had a great experience with. Elvin was upfront and super informative to deal with and straight to the point. He let me look at the car without being pushy, annoying or hitting me up with ridiculous pressure techniques. I was able to make the transaction in less than an hour and couldn't be happier. As in other reviews, it is correct that they, tirelessly, answer all the e-mails leaving no unanswered questions. I took the NJT train till Rutherford station and they kindly picked me up there. The i-MiEV was in good and in fair condition as honestly advertized at cars.com. The only remark I'd allow myself to make is that because I needed to have enough "juice" in the battery to have a chance to drive nonstop from NJ to upstate NY, I received the car with not full charge (albeit promised) and had to stop half way to recharge in a fast charging station which, added almost three extra hours on the road. Also if the tires would have not missing almost half the manufacturer recommended air pressure, the performance of the battery would have been enhanced but it was my fault, with all the enthusiasm of driving a 100% electric car, not having checked that before hitting the road.

I had never bought a used car, and I was VERY scared to buy one from a used car dealer; however, the experience I had at Project One Auto was unbelievable. I give them 5 stars because that's what my experience was like. I got an excellent price and here was absolutely no pressure to buy. I was able to drive the vehicle to my mechanic for him to check it out. I did all the negotiating and buying of the vehicle (a "vulnerable" female), and my husband is thrilled with the car and the price. I just recommended them to my primary physician last week, and he said he was going to check them out. GREAT PLACE!!! GREAT PEOPLE!!!

They had just the car we wanted. We made a deal over the phone. We flew in from Texas. They picked us up at the hotel. The car was EXACTLY as it was represented. We finished the deal before noon.They stored it for a few days while we enjoyed the city. It was detailed and waiting for a few days later.Shawn, Dan and John were all great to deal with. We have never done a car buying vacation before, but we will do it again. The whole process was perfect. We are happy.

But they also had the car I bought, a 2006 Honda Element. They let me take it to my own mechanic for an hour-long inspection and when he raised some (relatively minor) questions, they worked with me to resolve every one. I have put 600 miles on the car in a week and it has been perfect. But as they say, don't take my word for it, check them out for yourself!

The car was exactly how it was represented over the phone and internet. The price was great. Shawn, Dan and John are great to deal with. We were overdue for a trip to NYC. I just wanted to say that my experience with Project One was exceptional. I have been looking for a car for the past few months and have visited several dealers where the car did not match the description or the salesman was extremely pushy by trying to sell me on something over my price and not within the parameters I was looking. I found a 2005 Audi A4 Quattro at Project One and worked with John on purchasing it. John was kind and courteous not trying rush me and gave me all the information I requested and accepted the price I was offering. If I am ever in the market for another car, Project One will be the place I look first.

Salesman was helpful and no pressure to buy from salesman, which made for a pretty easy transaction. Up front about pricing with no hidden fees or other games. Salesman made a follow-up courtesy call the day after purchase, which was unnecessary but a nice gesture.I do feel the care was a bit misrepresented in the on-line photos. Over 70 photos were provided, but none showed numerous areas of minor cosmetic damage. I wasn't expecting a perfect exterior on a 5 year old vehicle, but I would expect the photos to be more forthright about the exterior condition of the car. Also, the draft bill of sale did not indicate the reduced purchase price that was agreed to the previous day on the phone. Could have been an honest mistake, or could have been hoping I would miss it; no way to tell. The error was immediately corrected without any hassle, so it wasn't an issue.

The salesmen was very attentive to my questions and requirements and didn't hit me with the big sales pitch. After we purchased the car and preparing to depart home. Bought a car in mid january shawn processed the transaction and said that they would take care of the registration and that I would receive the plates in 15 days. After 2 weeks I receive a voicemail from laura saying that they need the inspection for the vehicle. It takes 2 weeks are you serious, I was expecting to have the plates in hand in 2 weeks. I call back and spoke with Dan and explain that was unacceptable that they did not have the courtesy of letting me know.before the 2 weeks about the inspection or the courtesy to check with me as a follow up to see how am I doing with my purchase. I sent him the inspection report and he said the will take care of it. A week passed and I called to see a status on the plates to my dismay nothing has been done laura with an attitude kept telling me that they still need my inpection report and again I explain the discussion I had with dan. Now my temporary tags have expired and I still dont have my registration. This people might be good in selling you a car but but when it comes to assist you with anything else after they sold you the car they are horrible. Oh one more thing, laura said she would email me a letter.to carry with me since my temporary tags expire guess what I have not received anything. Highly dissapointed I will not do business with this people again. Buyer beware

Around may 2013 I had a 2006 bmw 325i and I was car shopping for a Red Mercedes-Benz. I came across their website and was interested in a red 2008 Benz c350 they had. I live in New York so i was debating whether to go to jersey to just check out the car. I called and spoke to John ( Great guy) and inquired about the car and he told me to go down and test drive it. I got there and I felt so comfortable, no pressure to buy anything. He even asked me to go test drive the car by myself ( 21 year old) I was shocked. So I decided to test the car and felt involve with it. It was a GREAT DEAL. I got back and told him i wanted it and left a down payment. We got all the paper work done really quick and he sat down and explained every page to me. I felt so relief from the first time I bought a car back in new York and got robbed. The 30-day warranty only covers drive train but Dan at Project One offered to fix the problem with free labor, I only had to pay for the parts. Gestures like this go a long way in my book. These guys clearly know what they're doing and truly want their customers to be happy. The entire process from start to finish has been extremely smooth. I'd gladly do business with them again and they'll be the first place I look for my next car purchase.

I have been looking around for a 5 series BMW in good condition for a few months. I came across Project One Auto while doing my online searching. I was on the market for a full size suv. I had called a couple of other dealers but their prices and fees were just ridiculous. I spoke to Dan over the phone regarding a Yukon Denali at Project one Auto and it couldn't have been easier. It wrote me a bill of sales, gave me an estimate of my trade-in which was fair and provided all the necessary info for my credit union over the phone. Looked around at other used car lots only to have the same song and dance from salesmen. Not here, no pressure was able to look over vehicle at my pace with no one hounding me, and they were available when I had questions No gimmicks just fair and honest product in the price range I was looking for. i bought a 2009 Range rover sport Super-Charged from Dan-- and you cant beat there prices and honesty.. i have been dealing with Dan for almost 4 years now.. If there is Any ISSUE with the car.. They will fix it.. theres no gimicks or run arounds.. thats why i always go to Project One ..Especially if your buying a High End Car// Sometimes you want to be Cautious because of problems or issues but at Project One they make sure the customer comes first and if there is an issue with the car --THEY fix it... i never reallly had a problem with them.. MY recent purchase was a at2009 range rover sport super charged with 72000 miles.... there was a small issue with it and hes mechanic took care of it and does excelllent work-- i have a small noise issue with truck which is Normal ..BUt the most important part is i do nbot have to worry about it dan told me to bring car by on MOnday and hopefully its not a big deal and even if it is a big deal they make sure to fix whatever needs to be done-- Dan is very honest and hes word goes especially when he says willl take care of it--- so thats why i trust him and Project one..They always do the right things not like other dealerships-- ive bought over 10 cars from them already in the past 4 years.. If you need a car i def recommend PROJECT ONE AUTO-- and the staff is amazing,, just a great experience thats Stress-free and BS FREE...i rate tis dealer ship a --10--

John was very helpful, straight to the point and the staff were friendly. I sold my financed car to them and gave me a generous offer. He helped me all throughout the process since the bank gave me a hard time with all the clearance etc. John was very attentive to all my questions via email or phone call and was very patient with me since I've been contacting him non stop. He also did not pressure me to trade in my car which I very much appreciated because other car dealers insisted on trading in my car instead of selling it. Overall the experience was great. I'm glad my friend referred me to this dealership and will definitely come back!

We purchased 2012 Jeep Liberty today and after much shopping around and getting the run around at just about every place we went (lots of bait and switch) we inquired about the Jeep after finding Project One on eBay - asked about putting a deposit to "hold" it, but they extended the courtesy to us to hold it for the day - no cost; that's how customer service should be! Dan and John were fantastic! No-pressure, no BS, no games - friendly and helpful are understatements...I would recommend that everyone check out Project One first

I bought a 2007 Range Rover HSE. Very nice car indeed, seemed to be well taken care of, clean! Paid to have a 3rd party inspection done to ensure everything was 100% before I bought the vehicle. It needed a power steering hose that was leaking which took a week to be repaired. I was rest assured that everything on this vehicle would be 100% when it arrived. I had it delivered to VA. Within the first week I notice the back-up camera (touchscreen) showed a black screen and the Rover idled funny. Second week I get HDC Error, Transmission Fault suspension lowering messages. Car doesn't shift properly when this code is displayed. Shows a u0151 code-Lost communication with RCM. The oil change was over 1000 miles overdue and was thick black when I changed it. As I reach speeds of 50+mph a vibration occurs, Torque Converter? Now I know I was taking a chance with the Range Rover to begin with, which doesn't bother me, since I do all my own work, that I can handle. But, this dealership lied about the car being 100% with no issues. I find it hard to believe that this Rover was mechanically safe from the get go. AA++ for selling vehicles with issues telling you they are 100%.

In the past when I purchased a few vehicles from other sellers there service wasn't as close as Project One. The reason for buying the Cadillac from this dealership was for work purposes. I needed a car for limousine work and a Cadillac was the best choice for that. John the sales associate from Project One helped keep me satisfied from the very beginning, after purchase the car there was minor problem that was preventing me from registering it a limousine (black car) in NYC. John had his mechanic fix all the deficiencies and hardly charged me a thing for the work and parts. After everything was fixed I was able the pass the required inspection for the vehicle to be registered as a limo. I would recommend this dealership to my friends and family for sure. I had spent 3.5 months searching for a specifically optioned Audi s4. Cars.com sent me an email alert that one in Carlstadt, NJ popped up. I called the same day, John from Project One emailed me some photos, and very accurately described the car. I took a train/bus to NJ from CT the following Saturday morning, John was ready for my arrival, we test drove, reviewed, signed some paper. I was on the road headed back to CT about an hour after arriving at Project One. The car is very clean, low miles, ran and drove as described, priced appropriately. Follow-up has been great to date, waiting on a CT registration(which takes 1-2 weeks) and this will be the the most enjoyable car buying experience of my life.

We purchased a 2008 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Supercharged here a couple days ago. The price was very reasonable and Dan was low-pressure yet totally helpful. We had the car inspected right after we purchased it (yes- in retrospect I realize we should have done this before purchasing the vehicle) and there were a few mechanical things that needed to be fixed with the suspension and rotors. We were nervous that we may have made a hasty purchase, but Dan put us at ease and has a mechanic taking care of the repairs as we speak.We are thrilled with our new ride and the customer service we are getting. I am willing to bet that many dealers would have just told us we were out of luck with the repairs needed after the purchase, but Project One has been amazing. Also, Laura who works there was totally helpful and friendly as well.We will return and we highly recommend Project One to others.

I purchased a 2012 convertible BMW from John in early January and had it shipped to Atlanta. The car was not nearly in the condition that the pictures showed it to be or that he led me to believe. It had areas of white showing through many seams in the car paneling, had numerous paint damage, scratches, did not drive properly and water leaked in on the drivers side. I was not happy with the car and have since tried to trade it. Three dealerships have told me (Mercedes, Audi and used car dealership in Atlanta) that the car was badly wrecked but not reported through insurance hence never showing up on Carfax. The repairs were cheaply done and now I am stuck with a car that I am not happy with All of the salespeople say that John must have known about this when selling the car as they easily and quickly pointed this out to me. I asked John if I could at least be refunded the shipping expense and I have never heard back. When I asked if he wanted the car back he was certainly not interested in that. Be careful when dealing with this dealership.

These guys are awesome! I was looking around for an Infiniti G35S all summer and was coming up short, so I decided to broaden my search. I came across Project One in July and decided to make the drive down from CT, totally worth it! Amazing customer service, the car was exactly as described. I purchased an Audi TT that was advertised on eBay from this dealer. I negotiated a good price and arranged fro the car to be shipped to my home state. When I received the bill the "prior damage" section was blank, so I especicially asked them about prior damage. They said "none" and e-mailed me a new bill indicating so. They said this car was absolutely in mint condition both mechanically and physically. When the car was delivered to the shipping company their inspection indicated numerous physical defects but the dealership said these shipping companies overly protective and there was nothing wrong with the car.When I received the car a month later I was shocked! The engine warning light was on, the airbag light was on, there was a walnut-sized bump in one of the tires, and the car had numerous scratches (some to the metal!) and there was lots of rust on the wheels. I took the car for the state safety inspection and the car failed to pass. I had to spend almost $5,000 to get everything fixed and to bring the car to the condition it was originally claimed to be in. The dealership still claimed the car was one of the nicest they ever sold, and I had to take them to court. Needless to say, they failed to respond to the lawsuit. (What a surprise, huh?) Stay far away from this company, they don't deal in good faith.

I have never left a review before and because of the amazing quality, service, and exceptionally great sales of Project One I wanted to leave this review. I have bought many cars over the years and dealt with all kinds of sales people and project one was beyond my highest expectations. They got my financing in order quickly, very prompt with communications, and delivery of vehicle was great. I purchased a 2006 C280 a few months ago and I am extremely pleased. The car is a dream and from what I saw, they only sell quality cars, unlike other places. The amount of thorough pictures they post are unlike any other place, you can "see" the entire car before stopping by. First I would like to say that both Salesmen at Project One Auto were Great! They responded to my inquires and always called me back with details. I bought a BMW wagon a few weeks ago. The posting stated that the car was just recently serviced. When we checked The engine light was on, there was an oil leak and 3 sensor codes that showed up when the car was placed on the machine, one being the thermostat. Unfortunately I had to take the car back so that they can evaluate and fix the problem. After the third time of calling and bringing the car back, We paid $200 for the Dealers mechanic to assist, Not sure of the credibility of their Mechanic but he did not fix anything! We are still dealing with these issues as the engine light is still on! The sensors are still showing up and we are STILL dealing with the oil leak in which the mechanic said he fixed. Which means that we have paid more than expected to fix these current issues. Nothing against Project One as a dealership because they have Great Customer service but they really need to validate the credibility of their In-house Mechanic!

I am very happy with my BMW ///M that I purchased from Project One Auto!!!! The overall buying experience was great, Jonny is a very friendly guy and made me feel very comfortable with the whole transaction. I have been in the market for an M3 for a few months now, I checked out a few around NJ, but either they were too expensive (at BMW dealerships) or the cars had issues and damage (the forums). When I saw a clean one pop up at Project One, I decided to go check it out. They let me test drive the car without any non-sense or hassle. When I got back after the test drive and decided it was the M3 for me, I pointed out the few details with the car I wanted taken care of. Not only did they fix everything (rock chips, 1 tire with a bubble, radio issue), but they still were willing to negotiate and took $500 off the price. Then when I had issues with financing (had to let the crooks at the bank have the house back), Jonny was understanding and really helped me out. He communicated with the lender and me, got me approved, and let me drive away with the car Friday night so I could take my new M3 to the shore! Thanks Jonny, I really appreciated everything. I will send anyone I know that needs a car to Project One!

Buying from Project One turned out to be an amazing experience. First off, the car, a 2010 BMW 528i, was in nearly perfect condition. The price was so much lower than anything I could find in my area that I drove 4 hours to see, and eventually buy, the car. And then, when we got there, Dan was a pleasure to deal with. He's very straightforward and honest, and so easygoing that I felt very comfortable during the negotiation process. He worked with me on the price and made sure every concern I had was addressed. There were a few minor issues which were all taken care of by the time I picked up the car. The only negative I can think of is that the actual options were slightly different than what was listed. However, I don't fault them for that since they probably don't know the exact details either. Overall, the buying experience was great and I would definitely recommend them to others.

Vehicle history was withheld prior to purchase, and assured it was not involved in a flood. After it was delivered several technicians have confirmed water damage both inside and outside the vehicle. A warranty was purchased and I was promised that if the warranty company did not cover the items that appear to have malfunction from water-damage they would make it right. The warranty paperwork and proof of coverage took a month to arrive, once it did I made an appointment to have the items assessed and quoted. At the time of delivery the dealer had lost one of the ignition keys (which are "keyless smart"), they told me I would have to purchase once I had the title in hand as Audi will not replace keys without. This also was quoted when the car was at the Audi dealership. I had constant communication with Project One Auto making sure they knew every step I took. Once the warranty declared the items not covered, Project One Auto changed their behavior and began shifting blame as well as putting someone else in charge of handling my problems. Their only solution was for me to pay to have the car shipped back from Dallas to NJ and take a $1000 depreciation fee. They didn't even want to purchase and replace the key they lost. The vehicle had a salvage ttitle, so I asked far more questions than I normally would prior to purchase. The question regarding the flood concerns was paramount. I was categorically told it was not and it was in a motor vehicle accident, but completely repaired by an Audi dealer. Further, everything on the car operated exactly as Audi had intended. Now they are claiming that they don't check items like sunroofs and power accessories and they could not have known. At first they tried to tell me my sunroofs power sunshade must be an aftermarket item and that is why it would not be covered. I have been relentless in trying to get them to participate in a resolution but they seem bent on trying to simply get me to go away for a couple hundred dollars when the vehicle requires nearly 3 thousand to make it "as Audi had intended". The original sales person was named Raul, but I wasn't informed that he had left the company until I was turned over to the third person to handle my case. This person made a statement that he had been very busy cleaning up behind Raul. Yet even admitting that there were problems created by one of their sales representatives they feel no responsibility to resolve any omissions or direct acts such as loosing the keys. They even wanted me to pay half of the cost of the key when they lost it. Unfortunately I am being forced to take the matters to litigation as they refuse to deal with this in an honest and direct approach. If I had been given the information about the vehicle I would have been able to resolve the issues prior to purchase, but they knowingly sold the car with problems, and took it a step further by selling a service contract that would not cover those items. Since this ordeal began I have located many many complaints regarding the warranty company, so I feel fairly confident it was not worth the $2200 I paid. But without information on the company selling their product, others will not be aware of their willingness to resolve conflicts after the sale.

I purchased a 2003 SL 55 AMG from Projectone Auto sales on 4/15/2013. Previously I had been actively looking for a car for approximately two months prior to my purchase. Some dealers were either staffed with too aggressive sales personal, coupled with over-priced vehicles that simply were not to my liking. I found however that these same dealers were more intent on making a sale than finding the right car for me. Projectone seemingly has a whole different take/approach on keeping their potential customers both happy and satisfied. The basic premise here is that they find quality cars at a very good price, ware-house these vehicles and then pass on the savings to their clients. There is no show room, no high pressure sales pitch and you don't come away with the impression that someone just tried to sell you something that you thought you had made clear to them you weren't interested in purchasing. I first found the Mercedes on Projectone's website. The following day I travelled 200 miles to purchase the car. I met three individuals working at Projectone "Dan, Amanda and John", that were very helpful and courteous. Their professionalism and decorum is a model for those in this vocation to emulate.

Project One was a surprisingly great experience. The young man John who helped us was the opposite of the used car salesmen we have encountered in the past. He was bright, and low key and expressed the open and honest character of the good people of his home town in the Illinois farm belt. We found Project One by answering a listing from Ebay and limped over with our old 2002 Saab and left a couple of hours later with the 2008 Saab we saw listed. We took them up on their offer of 4 days to our mechanic, no questions asked return policy, and happily our mechanic agreed the car was in tip top shape. This experience was smooth, it was nothing like going to a car dealership with the tortuous haggling in a private room and the secret fees added on afterwards. I just had the best car Dealer buying experience of my 30 years of buying cars. Bought a 2007 XKR Jaguar from the owner Dan M. I Found myself thinking this guy is too good to be true (me being from Jersey and all). Let me test drive the car alone, then let me take it to my mechanic the next day for about 4 hours, no sales pressure, seemed focused on what I wanted and how he could make it happen. My mechanic found a few things and Project One fixed everything that made sense without questioning it. I expect to at least go back and see what they have when I need the next car. They have recently moved into their new current facility, it has room to grow and I expect they will. When someone treats you right you have a desire to return the favor, I hope this review does that. If they don't have the car you want, give them as much time as you can to let them find something you want. I would recommend this dealership to anyone and feel good about them getting taken care of. If you are in the market for a car, do yourself a favor and go see Project One before you close a deal with someone else.

I traded my older Infinti for a 2002 Mercedes E430 they had in stock. Everything went well - these guys are easy to work with and are upfront about everything. I got a great deal on my older Mercedes and the car is mechanically sound. One thing that impressed me with this dealer was that there were no hidden fees.

Coming from a car guy (and his gf) who has bought many nice cars before, Project One is by far and away the best experience. They have an incredible selection of hand picked, beautiful cars, and were excepionally helpful without any sales pressure. Thy gave us great value on our trade in, and really went the extra mile to help get financing for an "older" car- (2004 Porsche 911 c4S). Raoul really knows his stuff, was extremely courteous and helpful and way over delivered on our expectations. We will absolutely be back for our next Porsche- and love the one we have now!! I would recommend Project One to anyone looking for a really special car- you are more than just a customer to them.

I purchased my Porsche 911 from these guys - the car was as described: they had no problem letting the car go out to a local mechanic to get inspected. Upon inspection, the mechanic found a couple small issues - and the dealership had the car repaired at their cost before I even committed to buying it. After negotiations, the price I paid was more than 4 grand less than what these cars seem to be selling for at other dealers. I am extremely satisfied with the car and my buying experience at Project One.

The car i was looking at was not in the delaership apparently lent out to the owners friend but still actively advertised on the internet. The car was supposed to be available in a day or two but that turned into a week . When it finally came back and i went to test drive it i waited an hour for the car to return from getting gas in it! Then 2 women walked in and the other sales person ( owner?)let them take it out before me. I came back later that day and drove it. Spoke to Raul about financing and we decided i would look into options and get back to him on what i found. When i called back this morning i was informed the car was sold last night, You would think after alll the bs i was put throgh and still gave them the opportunity to earn my business they would give me a courtesy call before they sold the car. I question their integrity and business ethic and would not purchase forom them. When trying to find financing i was told by a major bank that they woukd not deal finance a vehicle for me to them.I never fill out these reviews but i felt i owed it to anyone out there thinking about buying here dont waste your time. The bank also onfirmed that the vehicle i was looking at was pries $400.00 over retail.What a disapointing experience.

Purchased a BMW 330ci ZCP from projectone auto. Dan is a great guy and makes the car buying process very easy. Project one has amazing inventory of rare hard to find cars and trucks. I am very happy with my experience and would buy from them again!

I recently purchased a pretty rare and hard to find vehicle from projectone, a 2004 bmw 330ci ZHP. The car was immaculate, no accidents, no stories. The 330ci was as described over the phone and looked even better in person then online. Before purchasing this car they agreed to let me bring the car to BMW and have a ppi done, the car passed every inspection. I did not feel pressured into buying or feel like I was getting ripped off like most conventional car dealerships do. I will return to projectone for my next purchase and will refer you to everyone!

Its a Dealer that cares about there customers first before caring about your money first like "OTHER DEALERS".. For ME it was an easy purchase with my car and if i had a Problem DAN the owner would make it better..or tell me the truth about the car..All there cars are clean..and it was a quick process and easy process..What i really like is that they dont Pressure you like other dealers..It was an easy experience for me.. no complaints..

i bought a bmw 3 series from project one and i was very happy with the experience. I feel like i got a good deal on the bmw and they got me approved for financing after being turned down by other dealers.

I found Project One Auto when shopping for a Mercedes GL suv, they had one in stock that was priced aggressively, and when I went to visit their showroom to test drive the truck; their staff was very accommodating, professional and did not put any sales pressure that people usually experience in a used car dealer. They even let my wife and I drive the car ourselves, without a salesperson sitting in on us. We worked out a great deal, they gave me fair value on my trade-in, and I am very happy with my Mercedes GL450.

I was thrilled with smooth the transaction went with the Mercedes Benz I purchased from Project One, Dan was very helpful and has a no-pressure attitude which is pretty hard to find in the North Jersey car dealer business. The Mercedes is flawless, and I feel like I got a great deal! I would recommend Project One to any of my friends and family.

They didn't care about customers! I asked salesman to give me call if something gonna change with Audi A6 that I wanted to by before I came ! I spend my time on my trip! Audi was already soled! It's not a business!!!

Being a car lover, I have done my share of buying (and selling). But never has there been an experience as nice as it was with Project One Auto. They were conscientious, but easy going with the whole transaction. The car I purchased was competively priced, but they still reduced it a bit more. They also gave me a good trade in value for my car, and agreed to drive the 'new' car to me with no charge. I have already recommended them to friends.

I bought an Audi A6 from these guys. Dealing with Dan was a pleasure. He was very helpful and not pushy at all. I think the prices are phenominal and the vehicles are very clean. The 3 day to return if there are issues is golden and you probably wont find this anywhere else from a used car dealer. If I am in the market for another car I would definitely stop by their website first. Thanks Dan.

I bought a 2007 328i from Project One; overall I was very happy with the purchase process and the car itself. They were helpful regarding addressing my questions / concerns during the transaction, were very low pressure / no issues on the price (which was quite good), and overall were very accommodating. Dan and his team were a pleasure to work with.

Very clean cars that are serviced and reconditioned to the 10s. You will not find better prices anywhere else and I did not even have to negotiate on price. The dealer mentioned I could return car after 3 days if I experienced any problems. After the Project One experience, I would not buy a car from anyone else.
