This was my second Mercedes with Ray Catena. Stan Baum was a pleasure to work with. Easy and honest salesman. He found me the car I wanted in less than an hour and sent me all the paperwork I needed to fill out within minutes. He responds so quickly and even on his day off and during non business hours. Ty took us through all the features of our new car and was so kind, knowledgeable and patient. I look forward to a long future with Ray Catena.

This is the 7th vehicle our family has gotten from this dealership and the 3rd we have gotten with Chris. We have also sent friends/clients of our's to him. Part of the reason, a big part, that we keep coming back is the service. Chris makes it amazingly easy to walk out of there with a new Mercedes. And the of course there is the car. I am not a particularly materialistic person, I value experiences way more than things. From start to finish, looking at the cars and driving the one I chose is a great experience.

I came into Ray Catena (Union) not 100% certain that I'd lease a car. My mother, brother & cousin were all customers at this dealership; however, I was leaning towards another luxury brand. After a very brief conversation with Chris Popin, I changed my mind. He knew exactly what I was looking for & guided me through the process. He must have shown me 10-12 cars & by the end of our visit, I was ready to lease. I needed more information, so Chris held the vehicle I wanted for me until the next day. I met with him around noon, & he made me feel comfortable during the 3 hours that I had to wait to ensure that all of my paperwork, insurance & trade-in were secure. As soon as the lease on my CLA250 ends, I'll be meeting with Chris for another lease. His customer service & ability to understand your needs was impeccable. Before arriving They quoted me a firm price on the new car and a value range on my trade in. I arrived at the dealership everything was as promised and the trade in was valued on the upper range of the phone quote. Stan the salesperson was welcoming and knowledgeable. I leased my car through Mercedes Benz Financial 4 years ago and wanted to buy it at the end of the lease. Chris Popin handled everything including getting the car CPO'd so I got another year of warranty and arranged for a few dings to be repaired. Sadly nowadays "Customer Service" is a thing of the past. NOT so with this first class dealership. My first interaction with them was a phone conversation with Thomas Ryder in the Sprinter division of the dealership. Stan was patient with us from the start and got me where we needed to be fairly quickly. He was transparent from the beginning and never pushed us into something we didn't want. There was no waiting and Stan is super efficient. Communicated with me after I left the dealer and each day leading up to vehicle pickup. Always accessible and you won't believe how fast it took to complete the transaction on the day we picked up the vehicle - may have set records! Rich spent the time to explain all financing and leasing options. I was reluctant to lease (since this would be my first time) but Rich was patient and thorough and explained all of my options. I wasn't sure what I wanted when I walked into the dealership because I was torn between a car, SUV, lease or purchase. Within a short period of time we narrowed down what was best for my particular situation. The salesman-Chris Popin, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Within a day we had everything set to deliver my new car, and it was a nice feeling they gave me. The day I picked up the car there was a gentleman that spent a considerable amount of time with me explaining every detail and option the car had to offer. He knew the car inside and out, and that made me feel more comfortable. He even offered to come to my home to pair the vehicle to my garage door opener. It was a really nice experience, and I do have another dealer to compare it to. The other dealer was fast paced, hard pressing, and turned out to be a huge fraud. I would refer the Catena dealership and Chris Popin to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle because they exhibited professionalism the way it should always be.

I recently purchased a new Mercedes (E350 my 3rd), this is the first one from Ray Catena. I have always liked Ray Caten's, (I bought a Jaguar from them in 2002), but they can be a little more pricier. But never the less, this time they did come down a little on the price, (in the past I met with female sales persons, who wanted outrages money and refused to comedown or negotiate on the price, so needless to say each time I went to a different Mercedes dealership, and ended up with a bigger car, that cost a lot less than what they wanted for a small Mercedes C350). This time I worked with a salesman whos name is Stanley Baum, a very nice man, who got the car I wanted and it even had some extras, that I hadn't even thought I wanted, but now really enjoy having. I also meet with Christopher Bradfield, the "product concierge" he was very helpful and knowledgeable about the new E350 and how it operates and all the amenities included in this car.

Arealle sent me a msg and also placed a call to see what I was looking for. I walked into the dealership of course the Receptionist very friendly which is always a plus in my book. Arealle came over and brought Howard over to let me know that Howard will be assisting me. Howard was very friendly not pushy at all which is also a plus in my book. From the time my wife and I walked into this well appointed dealership to the time we left driving our Mercedes Benz GLK 250 we were beyond pleased with the dealership, the ambiance, customer service, efficiency and thoroughness of the people assisting us. First the dealership was well appointed. It was expansive and well structured. Mostly all the new and preowned inventory was in the showroom. Shortly after we arrived we met the representative that would ultimately sell the car.; Ed Moravek was a friendly, down to earth guy who (despite the stereotype of a car salesman was genuine, honest and nooooo pressure. He took time to explain everything. We went on a test drive and again, no pressure, lots of dialogue and explanation of the car. The price he quoted was fair, he processed the purchase loan and extended warranty in an unbelievable short span of time...while we waited for the car to be detailed we were fed, watered, coffeed and even could have played billiards. When the deal was done, the dealership gave us a number of gifts including a certificate for a family portrait by a professional photographer, travel mugs etc. We then were introduced to a friendly and instructive concierge named Nicholas Bradfield who went over the car, the technology from stem to stern in detail. Both my wife and I were impressed with this service and the young man delivering it. I currently have a Porsche and BMW and this was far the best buying experience.

I wasn't expecting to buy a car when I entered the show room. I was introduced to Stanley Baum and he patiently and knowledgeably answered my questions and showed me exactly what I was looking for. We went on a test drive and I told Stanley I would come back later in the day with my wife. It was a pleasant, no pressure situation. When we returned later in the day Stanley spent considerable time with us and made the process of turning in our current car (a BMW that was coming off lease) as easy as could be. We drove in with a BMW and drove out with a new Mercedes. No hassles at all. The experience didn't end there. Nicholas Bradfield then had the difficult task of explaining to me how the car and all of its amazing technology worked. He spent over an hour with me clearly explaining and demonstrating the various systems. He knew his stuff and was able to explain it in a clear and understandable way. I give my overall experience and both Stanley and Nicholas five star ratings in all categories.

If you know anything about moving to a new home and car shopping, it is SRRESSFUL. Not to mention that my lease was over in a week's time. Upon arriving I was greeted warmly by the receptionist who asked if I wanted anything to drink. I was able to look at cars without a salesperson hovering trying to sell me something. When I was ready to speak to a salesperson, I met Brett Gardner. He was knowledgeable, easy to deal with and made my car buying experience effortless. He also helped me get the best price for the car. Brett is a good guy and a nice guy and at no time did I feel I was being taken advantage of. I felt like I was buying a car from my son. Hands down the best experience we had was with Victor. When we first got there we were looking at the showroom and had expected that was what they only had. But no I was incorrect, Victor told us that they have way more cars upstairs. Out of our 8 times of going there only Victor had informed and showed us that they had way more cars upstairs. I was looking for my dream Mercedes on line and this dealership caught my attention. I checked out their website and i submitted a request for an appointment. a minute later, i received a call from Mr Gary Wilson. He invited me to come at my most convenient time and i did. The process was magnificent from the completely no pressure-sell beginning, to the concise efficient review process. Owning a Mercedes is great, they are amazing cars but the #1 reason on why I came back and leased my second vehicle is Tom I cant say anything bad about any dealings with him or the dealership on a whole. I was not expecting to walk out with a car, especially since I was only going to browse and compare to other cars I was currently looking at. Stan Baum helped aid my decision. Not sold on the car that I seen in the showroom (colors) Stan took me up to "car heaven" and let me look at numerous cars that could peak my interest and what do you know the color combo that sold me was there! However not with the options I wanted. Stan worked diligently to try to find the car exactly how I wanted it. When he couldn't he asked the manager if it could be installed. In the end he was able to get the car I wanted with the additions included and even worked on the price for me. Leaving me exiting the showroom not only with an ear to ear smile but with my new car keys! The level of professionalism, kindness and understanding exhibited by Stan was second to none. This is my first car and I heard horror stories of how some dealers take advantage etc. but not at this dealership. This has all around been the best experience I could have asked for and I would highly recommend working with Stan and this dealership to everyone!!

We bought our 2012 E350 from Ray Catena of Union about 10days back. We had an excellent experience with Chris and the Sales Manager James Castello. They were both very friendly and knowledgeable. The best aspect we appreciated was that there were no high pressure sales tactics. After we took delivery of the car on a Tuesday, we wanted to make a change in the DMV registration. I called on Wednesday and Chris was very happy to assist me with the change. This was exceptional as normally once the car is sold the response from the representative is at best lukewarm. On the other hand Chris was very helpful and pleasant to help us out. We will recommend Chris Popin and Ray Catena of Union to any body with out any hesitation. We live in NYC and own one c300 and one ML350. We have been to many luxury brand car dealerships before and Mercedes is truly one of very few brands that truly maintain very high standards in terms of their product quality control as well as dealership quality management. After visiting so many Mercedes dealerships and owning some Mercedes, you naturally start seeing the difference among all these wonderful dealerships. Mercedes's Dealers all pretty much hold a fairly good standards in terms of business operation, customer services and their building appearance (yes, it's a requirement), however, Ray Catena is one of the best out of all these good dealerships that we had bought cars with. From the moment you walk in ( without prior schedule ), the friendly receptionist, our accountant rep (Chris Popin), manager (Bill Zimmerman), test drive (Will Reyes)(no prior schedule), all the way to final product delivery (Chris Cills ), the whole experience is truly exceptional. Mr.Ray Catena's Mercedes building may not be the fanciest building that we have seen, but he truly invested all his resource and energy in his people and business management and the result is amazing customer experience. If you come to Ray Catena (like we do, from NYC), Chris will always be willing to go extra miles to explain, help and take the time not to rush you. Bill is the manager who does not act like other Finance Manager ( compliment, you readers should understand what I mean ), actually he is the opposite, he is more than willing to work out a win-win deals. Truth is he cares about his customer, he even cares more about his reputation than his bonus, so a happy customer can rave about how good his team is. We all have seen Mercedes's amazing marketing and PR efforts, but your experience will come down to who you deal with and who you buy it from. I went to Ray Catena Edison first to finance the CLA-250. The manager James is amazing, the finance team are terrific and Chris, who showed me the workings of my car is knowledgeable and so friendly. The dealership itself is a work of art. It is clean, welcoming and a place to really feel comfortable. The service department is first class as well. They don't try and sell you what you do not need. MOST OF ALL I HAVE FOUND RAY CATENA MERCEDES OF UNION TO BE HONEST AND RELIABLE! You cannot say that about most car dealers and most car salesmen but I promise you that once you go to RAY CATENA MERCEDES OF UNION, you will never go anywhere else. One last fact. I was involved in a head on collision 3 weeks ago (I was hit head on by a Chevy Silverado truck who lost control of his car). My one month old MERCEDES GLK WAS TOTALLED!. I want to start by saying that I HATE BUYING CARS. The entire experience keeps me up at night. I generally do my research, know which car I want, what options I want, and generally the price that I would like to pay. Purchasing my first CPO car was a bit nerve racking however the moment I walked in the door, I realized that this would be a different experience. I've purchased from Ray Catena Lexis before, and this experience was even better. The showroom is immaculate and has both new and CPO cars intermingled. The receptionist got up from her char, walked towards my wife and I and then walked us to our sales person. Joe Natale and Tim Antoniszyn were two of the most competent, professional and enthusiastic salesmen I've ever encountered. You can tell that they really love their job. I think we were offered something to drink by 10 different people. We were shown every car we wanted to see (I did my research and knew which one I wanted) and ended up purchasing the car on the spot. At delivery, Joe didn't like mats that were in the car and made sure they put both new cloth and new all weather mats into the vehicle. Their delivery specialist went over every single piece of technology. So, here is the best part. They don't have that dreaded finance guy that you get handed off too. You don't make your deal, and then the finance guy tries to sell you the extended warranty, the tire package, the super deluxe roadside assistance. It simply doesn't happen. Joe and Tim started the process, and ended the process. They worked as a team throughout the entire deal and I was thoroughly impressed. The general manager, James Costello is also a gentleman. I knew him when he worked at a competitor brand and quite frankly, I'm glad he is at Ray Catena Mercedes. It is our first Mercedes but it will not be our last. I believe that James, Joe, and Tim will service our family's vehicle needs for years to come. Kudos!

I Purchased a C300 as a retirement gift. This was my first time at Ray Catena, but it certainly won't be my last. I was fortunate enough to encounter Mr. Gary Wilson who assisted me with the sale. My sales rep. My experience at Ray Catena Mercedes of Union was what buying a car should be: great service, no pressure, no hassle and EASY. This was my 2nd lease through them and I spent more time driving there and home then I did turning in my old car and picking up the new one! I highly recommend My sales associate, Tom Zecca. Tom was awesome and did every he could to make the process as enjoyable as possible. I look forward to going back when my lease is up to get my 3rd MB. I did Acura and BMW for years but the experience at Ray Catena Mercedes in Union is by far the best. I highly recommend them!

Arrived at dealership after work with my son and we were cheerfully greeted by a sales receptionist who introduced us to our sales rep, Mia Conti. I expressed interest in a particular car which Mia then directed us to and immediately got the keys. She moved the car into a more accessible position where I could examine the care more thoroughly and we were surprised by the immaculate condition of the car. Mia set up our test drive which we completed quickly and Mia answered every question on a car which is no longer produced and which I had researched thoroughly. I left the dealership that day feeling no pressure and confident with the honesty and integrity of the dealership as a whole. After further research, I returned on a Saturday with my wife so she could see and drive the car for herself. Mia had a thorough prep done on the car and it was beautiful. My wife felt very comfortable with the dealership and she loved the car so we purchased it. Mia handled the entire transaction including financing and out of state registration with us at her very comfortable desk answering all of our questions in the most professional and courteous manner. We drove off later that day as very satisfied customers. I wish this dealership was closer to me so that I could get the car serviced there as well. Thank you for the great experience.

Great experience Edward Moravek very knowledgeable about auto and made purchasing a certified auto hassle free. Ed also followed up on sale to make sure things were ok and to see if we had any questions regarding the vechile, so far all is good very satisfied. Please pardon my tardiness as I did not realize this rating card came in the mail some time ago, I just noticed it when cleaning my desk off over the weekend

I was frankly skeptical when I first walked through the door because I had the impression that because it was a Mercedes-Benz dealership, that there wouldn't be any willingness for them to give me a great deal. I also had very high expectations of service as well as quality and they were easily surpassed. First, the dealership was very spacious with so much room to walk around and a wide range of cars to view at your leisure. Second, EVERYONE from receptionist to sales reps to concierge and service people were so helpful and welcoming. They all made me feel at ease and made me believe that this was not just a transaction, but a commitment to a long-term relationship. And they all worked as a team, which you don't see at a car dealership. Burton was responsible for getting me in the door and introducing me to Jim. Jim was the most patient sales rep I've ever met. The guy literally spent 5 hours with me, answering every single one of my questions. And Greg worked with Jim to make sure I was happy with the vehicle and took extra pains to ensure the truck was in pristine condition. He also spent over an hour walking me through every feature of the GL 450 including the use of all the technology and customization settings. I could go on and on but I can sum up everything by saying that at no time, did I ever feel rushed. I believe everyone cared about me and regardless of how long it took, they just wanted me to be happy. So last but not least, the price (which was a great deal considering the excellent condition of the SUV) was compelling. However, I walked away thinking this was such a great deal not because of a competitive price, but because the entire experience was overwhelmingly positive and I was completely sold on the client service. To me, buying a car is not just a transaction, but an ownership experience and I know that Ray Catena Mercedes Benz of Union will take good care of my family

I would rate my experience with Ray Catena Mercedes Benz at Union as excellent. I bought a C300 working with Tom "Tommy" Zecca. The process was very easy, first they have a lot of inventory to choose from and their hours are very good in terms of availability. Also everyone you interact with is friendly, offered coffee as I walked in the door by receptionist, anyone who walks in is greeted and asked if they need help...I have been to many dealerships recently as I narrowed down my search and in some cases you walk around and no one talks to you, not at Ray Cantena Union they are friendly without being pushy. The deal itself I felt was fairly smooth and fair I got a good deal on the car and a good deal on my trade in...plus the financing was easy as well...all in great experience, no drama.... Tommy Zecca was great to deal with...it was probably the easiest/best car buying experience I have ever had...I would highly recommend....

As we all know buying or leasing a new vehicle can be very frustrating, time consuming and a little nerve wrecking. We want to make sure that we purchase the vehicle that really catches our eye, but stay within our budget. Some people like to haggle and negotiate prices all day long. I'm not like that at all! I like to keep things simple and straight forward. My experience with sales employee, Tom Zecca was exactly what I was looking for. He was top notch! Tom was very informative and showed me on paper exactly what the prices were and what I could afford. I asked Tom about upgrading to an E-Class, but he advised me that would be risky and a little out of my price range. To me, that showed a lot of honesty and compassion on his part! During the entire transaction Tom was extremely patient, caring, friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Tom Zecca to my friends and anyone else that is looking to have a great experience with their car purchase/lease.

I recently leased a CLA 250 from Ray Catena and found the experience to be very pleasant. Never thought I would be using the word pleasant when dealing with a car salesman but my salesman Tom Zecca went above and beyond to get me the best deal possible with no pressure. I live twenty miles from the dealership and when the car was ready for me to pickup Tom set a driver to pick me up because I lacked a ride. WHAT SERVICE!! I had been to other Mercedes dealers before going to Ray Catena and should have went there first and saved myself a lot of time. If your in the market for a Mercedes you MUST go to Ray Catena. Due to the mileage overage of my current MB lease, I visited this MB dealership for first time with the hope of walking away with a new car the same day. Luckily, we met Mia Conti. Within the first 10 minutes of browsing the showroom floor, one of the receptionist greeted us and said that someone would help us shortly. Mia approached my husband, baby and I with a great big smile and immediately went to work. She was very helpful with figuring out what we were looking for. I expressed interest in the ML 350 and she recommended that we go on a test drive. During the test drive, she carefully explained all of the vehicle's features and shared her own experiences as a previous ML 350 owner. When we returned to the shop, we opted for a different car (E-class) and she gave us a great deal. Though we had some delays with getting insurance, she was very helpful and reassuring. We walked out of the dealership with the car of our dreams on the same day and was fully satisfied with our experience. I even had to return a couple of days later due to a flat tire and she helped out with that as well. I would highly recommend Mia!
