Jesse at Reynolds' Subaru was super helpful in the process. I went in with only the intention of test driving a car and by the time I left I was walking away with an amazing Certified Pre-owned car. The process was so easy. Jesse was very knowledgeable and provided answers to questions I didn't yet realized I had. When I came back to pick it up and make the final payment, the whole process was clearly described and the team walked me through step by step with what I needed to know understand and how it would all work. Jesse even took extra time with me after to make sure I understood what all the features were and how they worked, as well sent follow up messages to make sure things were going well. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for your next vehicle.

Let me start by saying that I don't ever leave reviews and I am several months late on leaving this one. But WOW! What an outstanding dealership. Jesse was an absolute blessing. This was my first car and he was so helpful in deciding and understanding the process. He had my car delivered and even gave me a 2021 loaner while I was waiting! On top of all that, him and Keith make a #DREAMTEAM. Keith not only gave me great advice on my warranty ( I'm covered for 3 years), but assisted me in avoiding a warranty scam company months later. He also remembered me which warmed my heart. Between the two of them, there isn't a better dealership out there. Thank you so much!! My beautiful Honda and I are so happy together!

Honest, attentive, patient, trustworthy, genuine, accommodating, knowledgeable and transparent aren’t the typical words that come to mind when thinking about the car sales industry; however, they only begin to describe the exceptional experience I had purchasing through Reynold’s Subaru! Chris worked with me remotely until I had some loose ends tied up on my end and delivered on everything we had discussed prior to my arrival, the receptionist was welcoming and helpful, Brian made the financing a breeze with no hidden surprises, and Nora checked in and assisted in making sure everything went smoothly. I also would like to mention the young man who kindly and patiently waited, as I transferred my belongings, to take my trade in to get the plates off, as there was a stripped screw. The car was pristine inside and out and even topped off with a bow! Chris then took the time to walk me through every gadget and feature. The team went above and beyond every step of the way and truly made me feel like I joined the Reynold’s family! Thank you all so much!!!

I went to Reynolds after shopping at a Subaru dealer closer to home where I did not have a good experience. From day one Reynolds was superb. I negotiated the car I wanted via email with Mike and when I showed up to purchase it I found it detailed and ready to go however I saw another higher end forester I liked and they sent me on a test drive with no hassle, I decided to purchase the second vehicle and they accommodated me without issue. Mike was not there that day so I worked with Nora Morrissey and she was fantastic. They gave me a fair price on my trade (kbb value) and took their time showing me all the bells and whistles of my new vehicle before I left. Honestly I could not have asked for a better experience. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

If it's not enough to drive through the lovely rolling hills of Lyme, when you get to Reynolds Subaru, it's even better. Mike is our salesman (and I say is because it's going to be a lifelong experience). He's honest and patient and takes care of all my stereo questions, making the music in my car fabulous! I can't say enough about him and Reynolds Subaru. Marsha takes good care of my service calls and the Forrester I have is such a great car and so good in snow. Just waiting for 2017 cars!

Just bought my 3rd car from Reynolds Garage...it's just where ya' go when you need/want a car!! All associates have a warm greeting and are helpful and make customers feel at home. The Dealership is welcoming, even their dog gives me a friendly look. Mike Schiarro has been my salesperson. He is very professional, knows his business; always polite, informative and generally makes it easy to do business there. Above all...he has a good sense of humor and is patient; even when I have questions days after my purchase. I have recommended him to friends who feel the same way. The Service Department is also great; never any pressure; and always taking time to explain details.

Bought my first ever car from Reynolds and they made the process very easy. Visited a lot of dealers during my shopping, but there was nowhere else that made me feel as comfortable as the staff at Reynolds, specifically Mike. They are an easygoing crowd and are not going to try and push you into buying something. I suppose there's a reason they have been around for 150 years! This is our third Subaru, second purchased from Reynolds Subaru in Lyme CT. At first, we were a bit nervous about purchasing a new car after 10 years, but Jim Lockhart made the experience totally painless. He has a calming nature and is very knowledgable about all the cars. He kept in touch with us after the purchase and spend several hours with us after the car arrived explaining everything! We love our Subarus! The Reynolds dealership has been in Lyme for just about forever. The service people know us by first name. The comfort level at Reynolds is awesome! We would recommend this dealership, as well as sales person Jim Lockhart, to everyone. Thank you Reynolds Subaru.

Being a widow and making my first major purchase without my husband, this was the place for me. I was very leery about changing from my American brand and going with Subaru. Mike Sharrio at Reynolds was so patient and straight forward, that I even picked up the car on my own and didn't bother my son to go with me. I was also a day early,( a little anxious ya think), but they got it together for me. My Forester is gorgeous and I can't wait for my family and friends to see. I would definitely recommend this dealership to all. It is out of the way, but they make up for it. They even have a golden at the dealership!

First off - it's such a pleasure dealing with Reynolds Subaru. We have just bought our 4th car from them in 3 years. Our first Forester was bought in 2013 by my daughter. I loved it so much we went back the following year and bought one for me and another for our son. And we've just added a used CrossTrek to our Subaru family. We were lucky to get Mike Sharrio as our salesman for our first purchase and we have returned to him each time since. Mike is friendly, low-key and extremely knowledgeable. He listens to what we want in a car and advises us accordingly without pressure. Even after the sale, if we have any questions, he is always willing to help us out. In other areas, Reynolds also excels. The entire car-buying experience is low-stress - prices are fair, negotiations are handled with a minimum of fuss, and the business end of the purchase is done efficiently and pleasantly by Brian. Oh - and their service department also reflects the respect for the customer that is apparent throughout this family-owned business.

Reynolds staff make the buying of a car a low key, friendly experience.. The communication is excellent, the service friendly and gentle, it was a genuine pleasure to purchase a car from Reynolds. This is my 16th purchase of a car and it has never been as smooth, seem less process as working with Reynolds. Believe their ads. My Forester is a real treat and all that Consumer reports says it is, is true. Joe Barlow did a wonderful job to make sure I was happy and that everything was great.

My 19 year old son Brian just bought his first car (used) and it was a wonderful experience for him. Sandy Spencer was our salesperson. She did an outstanding job of identifying what Brian was looking for and delivered on it completely. What made this more impressive was Brian's buying circumstances. Brian is a student at a maritime college. He only had a few days home in late December before departing on a two month voyage...and needed a car upon return to attend a firefighting course in Massachusetts. Brian and Sandy spoke in late December. Sandy really listened to Brian about what he was looking for, why he needed it, and his cost parameters. There was no chance to fine on tune Brian's needs by calling him again, as he was in the middle of the ocean, so she had one chance to get it right. Right before Brian got back Sandy called and said she had a car that meet Brian's stated goals...which it did exactly. Brian picked up the car the day after he returned to the States. He just loves the car. Bottom line...Sandy listens really well, and very responsibly delivers on what you ask for.

Working with Nora Morrissey and Mike Sharrio was a great experience. Nora doggedly tracked down the Sport Premium Impreza with the features and color I wanted and Mike had all documentation ready for pick up day and carefully explained how the car operates, set up my bluetooth and made several knowledgeable suggestions on accessories. Nora and Mike know the Subaru vehicles very well and I trusted their input and enjoyed their enthusiasm for the Subaru experience. The final happy outcome was Hayden Reynolds allowing me to drive my car with a dealer plate while I corrected the spelling on my driver's license so the registration could be processed!

I shopped around online pretty extensively when researching Subaru's and initially went to another dealership where I did not have a positive experience. Reynolds also had the car I was interested in so I decided to give them a try and I couldn't be happier I did. From the start excellent communication via email, allowed me to have all my information for finance ready to go and gave me a good price on the Forester I wanted without any stressful negotiations. I ended up choosing a different vehicle then the one I had picked out online and they had it detailed and ready to go while I did paperwork. Extremely friendly, no pressure environment. Everyone I came into contact with seemed to be happy to work there and while my car was prepared they went over vehicle details and kept me entertained. Nora Morrissey, the sales manager, handled my purchase because Mike (the great salesman who worked with me via email was not in on the day I chose to purchase my vehicle) and I couldn't have asked for a better experience - I never thought buying a car could be fun but now I know differently.Awesome purchasing experience from beginning to end, I would absolutely recommend them to family and friends without hesitation. They aren't the closest Subaru dealer to me but they are totally worth the drive!

So back in October I inadvertently smashed my Honda; time for a new car! Wanted to try out a Subaru, a bunch of co-workers swear by their Subies and pointed me to Reynolds. I walked in and sat down with Sandy; within less than a half hour I had an order placed for a brand new 2015 WRX in the exact trims and options I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. Just picked up my car a few days ago and could not be happier. Absolute kudos to Sandy and the rest of the gang at Reynolds, they put up with me throughout the whole process. Got me out the door on delivery day within 15 minutes, painless. All in all buying a new car from Reynolds is essentially 45 minutes total of car-buying bliss. But that's not all, once you think it's all over when you drive off the lot with your new car, think again! YOU GET COOKIES TOO! WHO DOES THAT!? No, seriously, they mail you a tin of awesome chocolate chip cookies. Would absolutely recommend the place to friends and family if they were ever looking to buy a Subaru. Everyone at Reynolds is nice, but Sandy is a total doll and will take good care of you. Thanks Sandy! Thanks Reynolds!

I can"t thank Bud enough. As a salesman he was wonderful, but more importantly, he is a good christian man. It seems that any more having to purchase a new car can be a painful experience. With the prices of cars going ever higher, and sales people that are less than honest or friendly. Well I have to say that the staff at Reynolds Garage has left a very good and positive impression on me. Their friendly attitudes make you feel welcome to be a part of their family. The price was terrific, the car was spotless and expertly delivered. The whole experience was actually fun. I will most definatly tell many friends about this wonderful dealship in the country. I had been looking for the perfect Miata for a couple months when the Reynolds ad popped up on the internet and for once it was exactly what I was looking for. I had seen some that were close to what I wanted but since I had an older Miata there was no reason to buy them. I did go to some other dealers and they were smooth talking but I was treated like a piece of meat. When I called you at Reynolds I was quickly impressed by your quick and friendly response to my detailed questions. And I was even more impressed when I showed up to see the car. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed in a way I have not seen before. It was busy (no surprise) but I couldn't tell the customers from the salespeople. Despite how busy everyone was nobody seemed stressed. And when I met with your manager to work out the details of the price we didn't have to go into a special "closing" office. And she did not have papers or any other gimmick to sneak by me. It was just a friendly conversation. And when I met with the business manager there was, of course, all the necessary paperwork but there was no pressure to get other stuff into the deal. Most of all, you were always friendly and enthusiastic and I never at any point felt like you were pushing me. I should have known this would be a pleasant experience when I saw a big old friendly dog in the corner of the showroom. Reynolds is close to a two hour drive each way for me but I would not hesitate to recommend you to any of my friends who might be looking for a Subaru. Thanks! Jim

Thanks to the internet, I found Reynolds Subaru. I went looking for a specific car and actually bought something else. Sandy and Nora kept in touch and were always eager to help or answer questions. The dealership is low key and no pressure and ironically very busy! I am glad I stopped in! When I needed a second test drive, it was no problem. I recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used car! Thanks for a great car buying experience!

We couldn't be happier with Reynolds Subaru: the quality/timeliness of service, prompt response and friendly, professional staff were all top notch. In a time of emergency (accidentally shattered rear window), the staff went above and beyond. The new window looks perfect and it was finished sooner than expected. Its not your average dealership that wants to sell you a car, Reynolds sells you a vehicle that changes your life style. They go out of their way to get you into the car that fits you like a well made suit or good pair of shoes. You walk into the dealership and its more like walking into your living room (it does have a car in it though) rather than most dealerships that have the commercial feel to them (also institutional) where its all cars and salespeople. Reynolds does have a good inventory of new and used vehicles but outside where they should be. The Salespeople are wonderful and walk you through the picking out a car WITH you and go the extra mile. The business office is quick, accurate and a pleasure to work with. I purchased a new Subaru Impreza so the "Quality of Repairs" does not apply but I can not wait to go back for my first oil change at 7,500 miles. I actually went to Reynolds to purchased a New Subaru for my wife but ended up purchasing two new Subaru's. This is the best dealership I have ever been to and I have been to quite a few over the years (age 56). It was a pleasure purchasing a Subaru, very enjoyable experience and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of purchasing a new Subaru or other used vehicles. I love my Subaru

I had a great car buying experience with Nora from Reynolds. I told her what I wanted and she got it for me. Doing regular service is not a hassle with their free loaner service. I drop it off in the morning on my way into work and pick it up at the end of the day. Great people in there dealership. I have been there 3 times. Once to buy the car and 2 service drop offs and they great me by name. This is the complete opposite experience I has at my previous car dealership. If you want a Subaru, this is the place to get it.

My first experience with the Reynold's Subaru family was in 2005. Having purchased other cars in the past I frankly dreaded the ordeal again.Imagine my surprise at a dealership that was there for it's clients from the beginning. I could be nothing but grateful and very pleased from the get go with Joseph Barlow, my salesman, who was very informative, very professional and never pushy. I came back a few times before purchasing and there was no pressure. I bought the Outback Limited and began a great relationship with the dealership . From Hayden Reynold's, the owner, the finance department and for 9+ years the service department I've had exemplary service. Now I just traded that car in and once again Joe Barlow was my salesman. This time I've purchased the 2015 Forester and am very pleased. This dealership truly is a family and makes the experience actually pleasurable ! Thank you Reynold's.

My wife & I bought our first Subaru from Reynolds last September I must say that the sales process was amazingly pleasant. Our sales person was Sandy Spencer and we found her to be very friendly , knowledgeable and definitely no pressure. She was the first automobile sales person I felt like I could trust. She gave me what I considered to be a good price on the internet and when I showed up at the dealership didn't try to back off of it or to sell me something I didn't want. I can't say the same for another Subaru dealership I was talking to who seemed to be trying to get me to buy what he wanted me to buy instead of what I wanted to buy. I walked away & contacted Reynolds & am I glad I did. The experience was so much better. I know several people who have a Subaru purchased at Reynolds & they all speak highly of them.

Bought my used car online after lots of negotiating!Here's what I was told:We will do that .....just let me run out and get you the vin......and I will shoot it over to you......just need your deposit # when you are ready ....congrats....nice car.......Best Regards, Joe Barlow Then when he does not get a credit card asked for by email (not telephone) while I was arranging insurance etc. he sells the car to someone else - you guessed it - for more money! I said I would call it in at 5:00pm - I called from work at 2:45pm after reading an email from the dealer at 2:30 - and was told he sold the car to someone else!Prior to that call I spent 5 minutes on hold responding to an email from the sales manager - who was not available.Talking to the sales manager after the fact, 10 minutes later, was useless, talking to the owner was also unfruitful - Hayden Reynolds, who stated his family owned the dealership for 150 years!I guess his parents & grandparents were far more trustworthy people. I asked him how many cars he sells multiple times to get the best price, but he did not respond. Duh.Online to write this I noticed this place already has the lowest rating of a 3.0 - compared to where I am going now that has a 4.9 rating!So this system works! Congrats!!

I was 100% pleased with all aspects of purchasing my "new" 2011 Subaru Outback. I was made to feel welcome and right at home with everyone i came in contact with! Specifically, Hayden Reynolds, Nora Morrissey, and Sandy Spencer and Brian Hagan were all standouts in their respective roles. They were all friendly, knowledgeable and professional at all times.

I purchased a used vehicle and was completely ripped off. The vehicle had mechanical problems which they knew about and did not disclose. Two months after I bought the car it died. When I went back to get it looked at, they charged me to tell me the engine was fried. I lost 5000.00 dollars on a 6500.00 transaction. I had the worst experience of my life with them and would never recommend them for service or sales.

My wife and I purchased our first Subaru from Reynolds who we were told by a friend how good they were to do business with. We were not disappointed, they were truly a no pressure dealer. We went in looked at what they had to offer, test drove a car, asked about price and said thank you and left. No pressure on their part when we tried to leave, they said thanks for looking and we left.We had lunch discussed our options and the price and went back the same day to buy a car. We were very lucky they had a car with the options and color we want right there on the lot and so we bought it. Very happy with the process!

Reynold's Garage and Marine was exactly what I was looking for. My wife and I decided to upgrade her car to a new Impreza and we researched online to get the perfect one. Once we thought we had it built there were still some questions about it so we needed to ask a professional. From the second we met Sandy she was so friendly and helpful. She payed attention to what my wife wanted and made sure she got the perfect car. Even though they didn't have it in stock they brought it in from a larger dealership. It is so refreshing having a dealership that cares about their Family name and reputation so they treat you with care. I definatley recommend you to go there for sales or service.

I have been doing business with Reynold's Subaru for over 7 years. We have been very pleased with their customer service both in the Sales Dept and Service Dept. I recently traded up my mom's old Forester and my old Impreza for a newer Outback. They made it really comfortable for my mother and I during this sales transaction. I have never had a bad experience with this dealer. I really enjoy how the dealer is on the small side and they treat you really as a Reynold's Garage family member. I was concerned about my car not having an alarm armed while the car sat at the dealer and they pulled the car into the garage for the night, when my timing belt service took more time than expected due to some unforseen problems, I was not charged for the rental car for those other two days and I was given prompt calls to keep my updated with the status of my car. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, from the service, sales, secretaries and on. I highly highly recommend this dealer for your Subaru needs.
