Extremely friendly service. I was impressed with their desire to assist me, especially since I was from out of town. I called and left a message on the answering machine during the day, and my phone call was returned quickly. If you ever need to go to the garage to have your vehicle worked on, please avoid Ripley and Fletcher (old Tinnys) in Farmington. 3 weeks ago I went in to have my breaks done, told them to do whatever to make them new again. Pads, rotors, calipers, whatever. They did the pads and rotors, told me the calipers were fine. That was $700. 🤢 I was in this past Monday for an oil change and tire rotation that I had a gift certificate for. This morning on my way to Farmington with two of my children, I could smell my breaks getting hot. I pulled over and smoke was rolling. I called Ripley and Fletcher. Jason was amazing, he sent a couple guys out to get my Explorer and a give me a loaner car. They said the caliper seized, which I figured, but I asked why it wasn’t done 3 weeks ago while I was in there. They said they didn’t put new ones on because it was fine. I never knew a caliper went bad over night? But I’m just a female so whatever. In the end I ended up paying for another rotor, and a new caliper. $250. They didn’t charge for the labor. 🤣 That place is a joke. Also, if the salesmen think no one is there, without checking the waiting room, they like to call each other homophobic slurs extremely loudly, very very professional. Especially in a highly populated LGBTQ community. ✌🏼 We had been going there since we bought the car, almost 3 years ago. When it was Tinny’s we never had such awful experiences. Jason was our salesman when we bought our Explorer, and now he’s customer service for the service department. He is still as helpful as ever and I wish him nothing but the best and hope the owners know how lucky they are to still have him there.

Everyone at the dealership treated me as a valuable customer, even though it was my first experience with the dealership. Scott Martel, the sales person, was the best. Professional, patient and friendly. While helping me find the vehicle that had all the features I wanted, I was grateful that he did not try to entice me with a vehicle that had options I did not care about. And he even preset options from the menu on the car I chose, based upon my test drive the previous day. Thanks again Scott!Tracy was very helpful, patiently answering my many questions. Hank also was a pleasure to work with. He quickly got me through the closing process.I have been recommending Ripley & Fletcher to my neighbors, many of who stop by to admire the car.In addition, my recent experience with the service department makes me feel like I made a good decision to obtain this vehicle at your dealership. I originally had a plethora of small things that needed to be done when I called on Friday. The Advisor said that they could get working on it Tuesday but I could drop off as early as I wanted. I dropped it off on Monday morning as they opened. They completed all of the work by 3pm on Monday. Normally, I can't pick up my vehicles on the same day the work is finished because I usually get out of work at the time they close. I showed up, unannounced, and asked Lou if I could have my car. Without hesitation, I had my car in 5 minutes. All along with a handshake from the Owner, Joe. I can't ever take for granted that they remember me by name. This type of experience exemplifies why I keep going back.

I took my Fusion in to have an O2 sensor replaced that was identified as needed in the purchase process. The staff was great as always and had my Fusion ready before expected. I drove off the lot and headed home only to discover the heater was not working no blower would come on. I was very tempted to blame the maintenance guys but resisted. I called service and they got me in first thing in the morning gave me a great loaner and had it repaired before noon. Oh ya the blower motor was totally seized so obviously not anyone's fault. I would trust this company with any maintenance I need.

I had a problem with my Ford Cutaway Utility Truck and notified Ripley's when working in the area to see if they could take a look at it. They scheduled a time to bring it over from the jobsite, and it was left for them to troubleshoot. They took care of the problem and called the jobsite that it was ready to pick up. It means alot, to a business owner like myself, to be able to count on a dealership to take care of problems so as not to have this vehicle out of commission causing delays and interruption in work schedule.I really appreciated the prompt service and do realize it will not always be possible for this to happen, but the effort made by Ripley's is certainly to be applauded.Thank you for all the support shown.

Basically, I got the car I wanted. They had no problems ordering me a new 2016 Fusion Hybrid. The staff was friendly, as usual. The car is beautiful, runs great, & gets good gas mileage. I travel 66 miles, round trip, for work. I live in the foothills & travel to the coast. I'm averaging 50 MPG round trip. I get 55 going to work, it's mostly downhill from the foothills. Going back UP(hill) to home I get 45, for the 50 MPG average. There is no turnpike driving. My max speed is 60 MPH. Overall average mileage for all my driving so far is 47 MPG.

Brought my Outback in for 85K checkup, and glad I did. I had a tire with a slow leak, and it has been driving me nuts putting air in constantly!! They found the reason was an improper seal on the rim. No more leaking, no more warning light! They also found the air filter was very dirty, and replaced that too (with my permission of course). They checked everything, and provided a nice service report that I can use for future reference. I am traveling this weekend, and now have peace of mind. Very pleasant people to deal with, the waiting lounge is very clean and has top notch reading material! Say 'Hi' to Joe G. and Lou C. for me!

I brought the Edge in with a power steering problem. I had a leak that required replacement and it was covered under the extended warranty purchased. I called about 15 minutes before the service department closed, knowing that I wouldn't make it down in time to pick up and car and asked if the bill could be taken upstairs so I could pay for it and pick up the key. Scott said, "No problem" he would take it right up. What I DIDN'T expect was for them to drive my car up to where it would be more convenient (on an icy cold very windy day!) to pick it up. It was very thoughtful and exceeded my expectations! It's a great group and thank you!

I had called on short notice after a cut tire(rear dual) at our local transfer station went flat. When I called they had the exact tire I needed and was scheduled the next day for installation. While there, they were also able to give me the free oil change(less than 5000 miles) that was stated when I had purchased the vehicle. Also while the vehicle was there, I had the body shop take a look at refabricating the rear bumper in order to raise the reese hitch that was installed from Utilimaster.They have given me a verbal estimate, as I had asked for, and I am planning to have them do that work later this spring when the weather warms up.Everyone was very accommodating and I appriciated very much the prompt service and their ability to get this commercial vehicle back on the road and enabling my business to continue with very little interuption.

Called in the afternoon. Needed a tire patched after using the Mobility Kit. They got us in first thing the next morning. While there, the oil change was close to being due, so they did that, the car checkup, and balanced all the tires !!! Plus, they washed the car after finishing the work !!! A+++

I leased a 2014 ford focus. It's a cute little car and great on gas. I do however find that the car is really bad in the snow, even with studed tires. Also the computer that runs the transmission was not working properly, and it needed to be replaced. Although it was fixed for free, it still was an inconvenience to have to bring my car down, drive home in a loaner car, drive back down with the loaner, and drive my car home, so I did end up paying out quite a bit on gas. Overall I like the car but it's not the best car for me! I would rather have something with 4 wheel drive and something a little bigger! Keep up the great customer service!!!

On returning from a brief vacation prior to my husband having major surgery our vehicle broke down in South Paris, Maine. We spotted a Ford dealership two buildings down and limped over to see about repairs. The service department was closed and at quarter to five on a Saturday afternoon, they were technically already closed. The owner and another gentleman came out and asked what the problem was. We explained the situation and they offered to repair the vehicle on Monday when the Service Department opened and even offered us a loaner car, a 2012 Ford Escape. We explained that we had to be in Lebanon, NH early Monday morning for my husband's surgery and would be there for several days. They told us not to worry about it, just take the vehicle, do whatever we needed, and swap back for ours when we got done.These folks turned what could have been a major catastrophe into a relatively minor inconvenience proving that good people still exist in the world. After returning the vehicle we decided we really liked it and subsequently returned to purchase the Escape-another very positive experience. Despite them being 60 miles away and in another state, we will be regular customers in the future. I can't say enough good about the folks at Ripley & Fletcher! Thanks for coming to our rescue.

I have bought several vehicles at Ripley's over the years and my new Escape is awesome!Very comfy and classy for a truck guy like myself.The staff was terrific and was eager to show me all the options and features it had.I'm not much on technology so some of the phone-computer options may go unused.Not to say an old timer can't learn new tricks!I am a little disappointed in the regular fm radio as it doesn't seem to come in anywhere near as good as my earlier vehicles.I like to listen to a little public radio and some local stations but they don't come in very well.Any ideas?I think I'll enjoy it very much!Thanks,Mike

I purchased a 2014 Edge SEL with AWD, indigo silver paint and light sand-coldored leather seats. It's beautiful.I was expecting the sales staff might overwhelm me or pressure me to make decisions in a hurry, but that was not the case. I walked in, was asked what I was interested in and shown the choices. Sales Manager Tracy Knight was helpful, low-key and congenial. It was a very different experience than what I had expected.I think it helped that Tracy and my sister work at the dealership and so that "family" kind of atmosphere in the workplace benefited me.I also was introduced to the owners, Joe and Bill, who were also very welcoming and congenial.The service was spot-on. My questions were answered and whatever I needed was taken care of asap.The staff followed up with phone calls to see if I needed anything, particularly learning the info system on the dashboard, which I had read online could be challenging. But after a couple of run-throughs I had no problems.Ripley & Fletcher really take care of their customers. And Ford makes a beautiful, quality product.

Service and accomodations were good, body shop work is very good. Our overall satisfaction to date is very good good with one exception. When we purchased our used 2010 F-150 Lariat we were told the shop would go over the vehicle and perform any needed service. When we had one of our first maintenance appointments we were billed for a new air cleaner. When we pressed the matter it was obvious that the air cleaner wasn't checked when pre-sale service was done. A soloution for the root cause would be a pre-sale service checklist. If a checklist already exists for the mechanic then it was "pencil whipped", or wasn't followed. The scanned checklist kept in the customers maintenance file could be used as a learning tool for the mechanic and also as a portion of the mechanics overall performance review.

I went to the service dept. with a 'clunk' in the front-end of our 2013 Focus. Jim Tate and his assistant were very helpful and assured me that whatever it took, they would track it down and get it fixed. The ended up replacing struts and strut mounts and the problem was solved. I was surprised that they could get the parts overnight and I could not be more pleased with their 'git 'er done' attitude.
