This dealer installs LoJack on every vehicle and will not honor a TrueCar price and force you to buy the useless LoJack. This is false advertising and deceptive. LoJack is 1980's technology and only used to increase the dealers profit.

Marcos Ochoa was very considerate and trust worthy, and Chris made the signing of the paperwork seem shorter than it was. Chris was extremely kind, knew what he was doing and was able to answer any questions we had.Everyone we dealt with were accommodating and couldn't do enough to make sure we were comfortable. We got the deal we wanted and are very happy with our Miata thus far.

On 4/18/16, it was my first ever service visit to Riverside Mazda. All staff whom I encountered were professional and helpful, particularly Brian (Service Dept.) and Salvador (Metro Auto Group rentals). Surprisingly, upon completion of my cars service, I found my car had been washed, to include the rims and tire dressing. I was very impressed with that finishing touch. You've earned repeat business from my family. Keep up the great work!

I live in Orange County but made the drive out to Riverside to test drive a specific vehicle I had found online. Had I not been very motivated to test drive the vehicle I had my eye on, i wouldn't have made it out of my vehicle because of the "high pressure" atmosphere of all the salespeople lined up just waiting like vultures. Otherwise, my experience was fine. I have nothing but good things to say about Francisco - he was professional, he followed through on all his promises, and was more low key than anyone else I dealt with which was much appreciated.

After strolling around the lot, I find that no one approached me to ask WHAT I wanted. I even went in to the toilet and still wasn't bothered to be helped. That was one week.Since I was in the area again the next week, I stopped by, went inside and was finally asked if I was interested in a particular car.After sitting in the floor model, I asked about some options and was handed off to a more "experienced" salesman. If you say so. Then, when asking about prices and to confirm hwo much my options would be, he came up with a ridiculous price. Ok. Where's the big discounts that are being advertised? Oh, that's it? Oh, okay, speak with your boss. Boss comes out and offers some more dog and pony. I got up and left. You see, I don't have to buy a Mazda. Other vehicles are out there to purchase. But the funny thing is, even with them hanging out at the door waiting for customers, they couldn't care less that they had one! I'll look elsewhere, thanks.

Went to the service center for maintenance and it was I a day that they give you a free pedicure. It's not a huge deal because it's a pedicure, but if you put it in the ad, honor it. They had a stipulation that you had to be sitting there waiting for your car rather than dropping it off. And at their specified time. I even called a few days in advance to confirm the stupid pedicure thing was still on. Their prices are outrageous which I could deal with if they honor the stupid crap in their ad.

Came to the dealer to check out SUV's, especially the CX5. Test drove the car and wanted a lease quote.Salesman went to the number cruncher and I waited and waited and waited. Finally after waiting, I told the salesman we were out of time, we needed to go. Told him to email me the numbers. Salesman promised I would have the quote within the hour. Two days later, still no quote, no follow up by anyone at the dealership. Too many Mazda dealers to choose from to put up with this BS.Salesman didn't even give me his business card.

I just left Riverside Mazda, after being ignored (LITERALLY IGNORED) by there service department. I just moved to Riverside from Tyler, Texas and needed to get my car's 30,000 service. When I pulled into the lot, no less than 4 sales people came rushing to my car. I told them I was just here for service, and they all scattered. Then when I pulled into there service bay, one of their technicians (I think his name tag said "Jeff") was talking to a woman 10ft in front of my car. I waited, thinking he would come see us after wrapping up his conversation. There were also "sales vultures" 10ft to the side of my car. After waiting for someone to come wait on my wife and I for 10min, I backed up and left. This kind of "service" is inexcusable. I will not be back for service or to buy my next Mazda at Riverside Mazda.

I do not recommend this dealer shop. They first gave me a quote with pretty decent price, and after I agreed to buy the car and provided all my personal info., they suddenly increased the quote price saying "Oh, we forgot to apply LA tax because we didn't know you live there." This doesn't make sense because I was chatting with him about weather difference between Riverside and West LA while I was test driving. Riverside tax rate is 8% and LA's is 9%, so 1% tax rate difference could easily become more than a couple hundred dollars in car purchase. Also, their quote doesn't show the actual tax rate percent value so in order to find out how much tax is applied, you have to calculate it by yourself. They also provided me a quote with Trade-in Bonus Cash ($750) but when I actually brought my car there, they were suddenly showing the detailed conditions on the qualification and told my car is not qualified.

I frequently lease vehicles every 3 years. A few years ago I physically went in to this dealership and they refused to work with me without running credit (I lease so it's obviously awesome credit ). This time o attempted to get a price quote and negotiate by email before driving 40 miles and wasting a whole day just to find out they weren't willing to negotiate. Since I refused to come in they refused to work with me. Pointless to even talk to this dealer.

Following a visit to the Black Book web site Wendy called and sent a price for a CX5. I visited Reverside Mazda which is 75 miles from where I live bacuse the price was so good. Matt met me at the door (Wendy was off). I needed a price on my trade and they offered what I expected. All in all I couldn't have more pleased. They sold the car at the price in the email and had the exact car on the lot. To cap it off Alex in finance was the nicest finance person I have ever met. I saved thousands of dollars from the best offer at my local dealer. I highly recommend Riverside Mazda.

I had looked around other dealers to get quotes on a CX-5 Touring and got a really good quote from another dealer and when I called this one they said it was no problem they could beat it, however when we got there they did not have the same car we were looking for (color, features, upgrades) so I got really upset. Luckily they were more than willing to do anything they could to make it up for me. I ended up leaving with a better car, all the upgrades I wanted plus some extras, with only little difference in the price. I must say I am extremely happy with my purchase. Matt was very helpful in explaining everything to us, and the new features of my car. Only downside is that they always send a different rep towards the end when you're deciding and he was kinda pushy, but I can't recall his name.

We just got a 2013 Mazda CX-9 from Riverside Mazda last Saturday and would like to thank Michael Gerard (Sales Consultant) for making this car purchasing a great experience for us. We had an appointment with Wendy from internet department, but somehow, she was too busy to see us, then we realized that the deal she gave us was not available. My wife was NOT happy with the "miscommunication."However, Michael, a sincere man, was very helpful and was willing to resolve the issue with us. George was very helpful. He was positive and energetic and helped the process go quickly and painless. I had to decide whether to fix my 2003 MPV van that I loved or to trade in and get a new CX9. No pressure from George, he let me take my time and decide what to do. I ended up getting the new CX-9. I am very happy with the Mazda dealership. The managers and finance dept.'s. were very professional. Michael sold me a car about a month ago so I am very happy with our Mazda experience.

out of 4 dealers we requested an internet quote from Riverside was the only one we actually got one from. we took our quote down to see them and got the car we were looking for at the price quoted. no haggling, no trying to get us to buy products we didn't want. what a pleasure! from the time we walked on the dealership until we left we were dealt with in a friendly, professional manner. our salesman, Larry was a pleasure to deal with. his boss, Brian was too, and has called several times to just check and see how things are going. follow up calls from a car dealership? new to me! great experience all the way around.

I am interested in purchasing a 2012 Veloster. So after contacting this dealership via phone and e-mail in regards to availability of a vehicle with desired specifications for a test drive, a test drive appointment was set. Upon arriving I was given several lame stories as to why the discussed vehicle is actually not available. Not only the service person who scheduled a test drive lied about having the vehicle with desired specifications, they did not have any Veloster on the lot for me to test drive. And on top of it all, they are not even able to get the car with requested specifications. So LAME!

This is a review for the service department of Riverside Mazda and David Ruiz. David and his technicians have provided excellent service to my RX-8 for the last 2 years. All repairs were done perfectly. David is not too pushy when a service has to be performed and he is fair and honest about the repairs. He identified several issues on my car and suggested repairs, but I decided to postpone some repairs as I did not have the money at the moment and these were the issues that were not essential and could wait. He honored my decision. Another time an expensive procedure was required, but the next day he called me and said that the car was fine. So he charged me nothing and even provided free rental while I was waiting for the diagnostics. He also always applies coupons and discounts to the services even when I forget to bring one.Of course, this is the dealership so the service runs more expensive than at the other places, but it is worth every cent as you know that technicians trained especially for Mazda are taking care of your car. What I also liked is that after each service the car is always returned washed, clean in and out. Except the last time when after an oil change the car did not get washed and the interior had greasy stains. The engine bay was also dirtier than usual, I guess the mechanic was in a hurry. But this is a minor issue, it happened once and I used to get much worse stains on my previous car when I took it to non-dealer places like Meineke, Midas, Jiffy, etc.I cannot say too much about the sales department except that I was contemplating to trade my RX-8 for a newer Mazda. However, the trade in estimate I was given was way way way below the KBB trade-in and I decided to scrap my plans, at least with this dealership. So I cannot say that I could recommend the sales department, but the service department is a place definitely worth visiting if you own a Mazda and need a service.
