Jonathan! Gave me space to look without pressuring me to buy. Once I decided whatI wanted he was helpful in getting the vehicle to your dealership. He went over all the features and did all necessary programming.He kept me informed by phone and text as to the status of the vehicle. He told me the vehicle could be in the next day, but I chose to wait an additional since I knew he would be off from earlier conversation.I vote for Jonathan for employee of the month.

I had been searching every used car website i could find on the internet, for a particular model truck that had ALL the features I wanted. I looked at over 500 vehicles. I finally got to the point of either ordering a brand new model,( which I didn't want to do) or settling for something close to what I was looking for. I came across a truck that was everything I was looking for EXCEPT the one thing that was most important to me, a long bed. Loved everything about it except for that. So I made a deal with Riverside, and sent them a $1000.00 deposit, which I was told was NOT refundable. I was fine with that, cause I knew I was going to pick that truck the following weekend. The very next day, I accidentally stumbled across the EXACT truck I had been looking for for 3 months! I called my salesman, Justin and told him my situation. He was understanding, knowing that I really wanted the long bed, and that I was "settling" for the truck he had. He got with his used car manager and they got it worked out to refund 100% of my non refundable deposit! I even offered to send them SOMETHNG for their work and the fact that they took the truck off the market for a day or two. They would not let me pay anything! I'll certainly be recommending that dealership to anybody I hear, looking for a vehicle!

Chris Kirk and Justin Pope could not have been more friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. There was never any pressure to get me to buy or to "up sell" to a different product. They were both very patient and took time to explain every detail to me. You have gold in these two young men. Allison went above and beyond to help make sure that I found the exact vehicle that I was looking for. I test drove several vehicles over the span of two days before I found the exact truck I wanted. She would not let me leave until every question was answered and she explained every feature on my new purchase. I also had my children with me and she made sure that they had drinks, popcorn, and were able to play in the play room. I also appreciated the complimentary cup of Starbucks from the sales floor. Allison was extremely helpful but was not pushy. I now understand why she has so many Salesperson of the Month awards. She deserves another one for the service that my family and I were given!

I took my car in because I needed a new battery. The estimate was $130. I left the car. A while ylater I got a call that it would only be $60 because i had bought the previous battery at Toyota. This dealership continues to prove 100 percent integrity and honesty in customer service. It would have been very easy to let me pay the full price. I never would have questioned it. My next car will be a Toyota because of this service department.

I was greeted almost immediately upon arrival, the work order was prepared, and I was able to go (with pager) to the comfortably-appointed customer lounge to read and/or watch TV until my car was ready. When I went to claim it at the cashier's desk, the young man who had serviced it was there to recap what had been done and to give his recommendation for the next service. The cashier processed my payment rapidly, and I was on my way. The service was prompt, and all personnel I encountered were pleasant and professional.

I found the car to be exactly as advertised on the website. The grill was broken on the car and the cost to replace it was deducted from the price. I talked to Chris Kirk, the sales agent, over the phone and scheduled my visit. Even though I had to drive two and a half hours, it was worth every mile! Chris was very helpful, knowledgeable, polite and not pushy. He laid out the details and let me make the decision. He was able to address my every concern and he was really nice about it (even though I was kinda picky).I worked with Heather on financing part of it. She was able to get me a very competitive interest rate (as good as my bank pre-approved me for). Of course, I had to negotiate but Chris and Heather made this process very pleasant. They even took care of some minor wares and tears for free just to keep me happy (that are more or less normal on a pre-owned vehicle). Dennis at the service department replaced several interior parts and fixed few stains on the leather seats. I am a very happy camper driving my awesome certified Toyota Avalon! My daughter graduated from nursing school at Auburn University and wanted her dream car. She wanted an Escape like I got her when she was 16, which I sold because of all the miles. I went on Cars .com and found the exact 2012 vehicle ,the last year of the boxy look! Riverside Toyota had one listed with only 16k miles and looks like a brand new car. We planned a short vacation that we could go thru Rome,Ga. Allison was the best ever, we traded in a lease car with 14 months left and still able to do all the dealing in 2 hours or so. It took the whole team at Riverside to work it out. I was extremely pleased with the whole process and great mgmt team at Riverside. I drove away in my daughter's "new" car to start my vacation.

Stephen Taylor: Unlike most car salesman, he was simply natural when he talked to us. I probably wouldn't have done business with you if he had said anything and everything to sell the car to us. I wish he was more accurate with the mpg for the Pilot and Highlander. Customers theses days can get wealth of information online and don't just figures at face value. When Stephen told us about the mpg capabilities of Highlander, I quickly pulled my phone and checked for myself. Having said that, I would do business with him again. He did a good job job by not trying TOO hard to buy the car. The moee pressure I feel the more I become skeptical of the product. Authenticity in engaging customers matters. At least you won my business by not pushing me too hard. I intend to refer friends and family members to do business with you Riverside Toyota.

My wife wanted to have her Vensa serviced wile she was visiting her Mom at the nursing home.The nursing home is across the street about 10 minutes tops. She was told it take around 45 minutes for service which was fine as she usually stays around 2 hours with her Mom. She was told that there was no one to take her, She told them it was just about 5 or 10 minutes and again she was told there was no one to take her. She walked across the parking lot, down the hill, across 8 lanes of traffic, through 2 ditches to get to the nursing home.When the car was finished she got a call to pick up the car, she told them she could not walk back in 85 degree temp. and they told her there was no one to pick her up,She was trying to get a stranger to take her to pick up up the car when they finally called back and sent someone with the car. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

So, apparently Riverside does not service cars that were purchased at other dealerships even though Toyota advertises nationwide service. I was told that my 2 week old Rav4 did not have a leak in the sunroof because it passed their special test. Even though the evidence of the leak was there, I was told I must have had the sunroof open when I went through the car wash. Really? I was then told that I should really take it back to where I bought it from. I wish I could post a picture on here. You can actually see daylight shining through a crack in the weather stripping! I totally believe that they let my car sit there all day and did absolutely nothing to it since I bought it from another dealership. The manager is very condescending and told me there was nothing he could do. I will never step foot back in Riverside. The folks at Marietta Toyota are sooooooo much nicer and easier to work with. They treat you with respect and actually listen to what you have to say. Rome folks, it is worth the drive!!!

I took my 2014 Toyota Corolla to have my first free oil change and tire rotation. We got there at 8am and everything was done around 825am. That is nothing short of ninja speed. The bay is wide open, so you pretty much see everything that transpires. The gentleman at the desk was friendly and expedient and sent us away with warm holiday wishes! Allison told us that she had us approved. After driving 2 hours and getting there she said there was a problem and we would have to come up with 3000.00 more dollars. When I ask why she told us before we came that she already had us approved she got the so called sales manager who was very loud and rude. We just left and went to Ford in Dalton GA and bought a Mustang with no hassle. I would be very careful doing business with these idiots.

Customer service stinks. I had bought a 2013 Tacoma and took it in for the first service. The guy that I dealt with was not helpful and had a personality of a rock. This took place in Oct. In Nov. my low tire pressure light came on. As it turns out all 4 tires were 7 lbs. low each. Now there is no way they checked the air in those tires. They say they rotate them, so are they not suppose to check the air? On the other hand I have a Honda Accord and I take it to Heritage Honda for service, A totally different experience, the people couldn't be more friendly and helpful. I've also never had any trouble with the work and I've been going there for years. So you can bet when it comes time to trade it will not be for a Toyota.

I usually change my own oil but, wow! This was the fastest oil change that I have ever had a Toyota Dealer. Bill was very friendly. I also had a problem with my clutch making a terrible sound upon depression; two other Toyota Dealerships couldn't diagnose but Bill knew exactly what it was. He explained that it was a simple clutch bushing adjustment and lubrication. Right on. I wish I lived in Rome because I would be very happy to take my car here for regular service. Thanks Bill!

Was told paperwork would be sent to Alabama to get tag & title. Clerk never sent it (did not listen to what I said). Was helped by Biff (rudely) and Allison (as much as she could). Was threatened to be escorted out by John (manager) who was "guarding" Allison when I tried to talk to her on the way out the door. She apparently had been instructed to not talk to me at all. I admit to being ugly on the phone to John & I would have apologized to him except he jumped up and got hateful even after the issue was resolved. I'm a 62 year old woman. Hardly a threat to him.

Took off work 1/2 day and still no paperwork at courthouse in Alabama.They did get it fixed (or I hope so), but couldn't manage to apologize for the confusion.Really? Just a simple "Sorry for the mixup" would work.

I had trouble getting my paperwork for my tag from the dealership so I could pay the taxes and get my tag in Alabama.The lady in charge of sending the information did not listen to me, and I had to take 1/2 day off work to go and get the paperwork to the correct place. The manager, Biff, was rude, and the other manager, John, was even worse. I admit to being upset, but really, after 2 weeks the paperwork should have been at the courthouse. No service after the sale, apparently.

I purchased a 2008 GMC Acadia from Riverside Toyota in Rome, GA (it was a trade in). It was listed at a good price. The salesman Alex was very friendly and everything was good on the front side. I drove the Acadia home to Alabama (2 hour trip) and let my wife, 2 year old, and NEWBORN get in and go for their first test drive. The transmission went out during this test drive. We were on a major highway and my family was put in HARMS way. I contacted Riverside and they offered little to no help. I understand the buy "as is" policy on used cars but 2 hours after i drive it off the lot it had totally lost its transmission. This is a MAJOR issue. I talked to the used car manager and he said take it to the GMC dealership because it was still under warranty. I did not want the car anymore. He told me he did me a favor by selling me a car still under warranty. He offered no hope help except for offering to pay the towing bill. I sent him the receipt as he specified and he received it and DID NOTHING. I contacted them again and I was told my insurance should have handled the towing. I asked them if they cared about customer service and the used car manager's reply was "we sell both used and new cars"...meaning they didn't care about my situation. I expect more from a major dealership. I was even told by the sales person that they would contact me after i bought the car (before the transmission went out) because he was going to try and locate the 2nd pair of keys and owner's manual. I contacted him MULTIPLE times and he would never contact me back about it. So even if the transmission didn't go out, their customer service after purchase was bad.I 100% would not recommend them to anyone. Customer service when dealing with thousands of dollars is huge!!!!!!
