Van limped in with overheating problemsand radiator fluid leaks. Hatfield got me in within an hour (even though they looked busy). Located the problem with a cooling line leak, and not only fixed the problem, but sent us on our way without charging me for the parts or labor. What more could I ask from anyone. The repair got me to my destination in Tenn. and back home in Ohio without any problems. I could not thank them enough. By the way I just picked out Hatfield because they were the closest to us at the time and we were in need of repairs. I knew nothing about them at the time except that they were a Chevy dealership, and this type of dealership could help us right now. Service Dept. at major dealerships get a bad rap at over charging people. Not even close at this one. What a great bunch of people.Thanks, again.

On Wednesday morning I had the opportunity to visit Rod Hatfield to get a new key FOB for my 2013 Tahoe, as my current one had worn out. I was met by Justin, one of your service personnel. I must say, since my last visit to your dealership, he was the most person I have ever encountered there......and he tried to save me money because he thought we could the shell rather buying the complete FOB. Although I had to buy a complete FOB, I appreciate very much him trying to save me money! I HAVE NEVER HAD THAT KIND OF EXPERIENCE BEFORE!!! BUT, I also must say that before I left, EVERYONE I encountered, including Mike in parts department and the ladies where I paid for the FOB, were ALL PLEASANT, CHEERFUL, AND VERY WILLING TO HELP. Don't know what you have done since my last visit, BUT IT IS A GREAT IMPROVEMENT! KEEP IT UP!!! Thanks, again, Justin! Barbara Johnson

Took my Equinox here due to nails in two tires. The next day I called to check on my vehicle and the service person was less than helpful with a 'could careless attitude'. Finally found out that my tires where fixed but their wheel balance machine was broke (not their fault.) They said the machine would be fixed the next day and to leave my vehicle if I didn't need it. I called back the next day to check on my vehicle and it was not ready since their machine was still broke. I needed the vehicle so I picked it up after hours. When I picked it up I noticed my rim had been damaged while there.I took the vehicle back a week later to have the two tires balanced and the damaged rim looked at. I called the next day to check on the vehicle and once again was met with the less than helpful could careless attitude of the service person. He finally told me that my vehicle was being looked at. I asked about the damaged rim and he said they would look at it. I paid for the vehicle over the phone ($50) since I was at work. I asked to speak with the service manager or any manager but he said they had all left for the day (4pm). When I picked my vehicle up later that evening the damaged rim was still there with no explanation. I would not recommend this service department.

Every single person mentioned is absolutely wonderful!!My Malibu LTZ was in to have a recall addressed & to have the LOF done... All matters promptly completed.While waiting, I visited with Mark (Shop Foreman), Rick (Body Shop Manager), Jay (Sales Associate), and Fred (Sales Manager). Be aware after the sale!! This dealership claims to have an internet sales dept. They don't have solid plans to be able to get the vehicle delivered to you and they don't have a policy for you to be able to bring the car back to them to fix any issues you find after you take ownership. I was assured that the truck had not been smoked in. After all the good smelling spray had dissipated the following morning the truck smelled strong of smoke. When I called the dealership back to see if there was anything that could be done I was talked to like I have never been treated before by a company designed for customer service. The salesman even told me that if it smelled like smoke then I must have smoked in it. I was totally shock by the attitude and lack of empathy. After calling to speak to a manger I cant even get the decency of a return phone call. Without a doubt the worst customer service I have experienced with a car dealership in my life. After they get your money, be aware.....

Christina Z. and Joe Cardoso, did an outstanding job. Always professional, courteous, and Joe has a excellent sense of humor and perfect manners! Impressive! Eric the F&I guy is the best I have met and explained every leasing question very clearly. I cannot remember the Manager's name that assessed our trade-in but, he was also personable and courteous, as was everyone we met including the gentleman at the reception desk. Car was prepped very well. I don't do '10's' but, I give Rod Hatfield Chevrolet a 9.999999999!

The service department continues to give me the run around. I took my car in to get headlight fixed. The next day moisture was in it. I called to get fixed again was told part was in. Took it there to get fixed on my wedding day and was told that it's not in. Asked for a loaner car was told the light had nothing to do with my ability to drive the car. The light goes in and out so I wouldn't be able to drive at night. Went Bk and forth with this place for hours remind you its my wedding day and planned to leave out that night for honeymoon. I finally decided to call the warranty people who gave me a rental. My key broke a few days before which needed to be fixed. I've been to the dealership 5 times and they keep telling me the key cutter is not able to cut key correctly, we have to send it off etc. Cory had me come to the shop again thinking my key was done but when I walked in he looked dumb founded once again telling me uhhhh we have to send to Paris. Smh this place is sry.

I have had so many bad experiences with the service department in lex. Very poor service and continues to give me the run around and not have my car completed. I am under warranty and every time I take my car in for service the service department acts as if I'm not covered. My car still jerks, my headlight continues to get moisture in it, never give me a loaner when I take my car in for service(I have a warranty), my key is broke they still haven't replaced it. I have been treated really bad at this place so bad that I never want to deal with the again. They tried to charge me for an oil change when I'm covered under warranty. It took me 2hrs to get them to finally see that I'm covered. This place sucks!

Service on our Chevy Malibu LTZ was completed promptly and completely. Brandon (Service Advisor), Ray (Parts), Jeremy (Service Technician), and Erica (Cashier) are wonderful people!! PEOPLE REALLY DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!! I'll be seeing these folks again tomorrow, as the one of the service techs will be installing a GM/Kicker amplified subwoofer in my Camaro SS...

We bought a new Chevrolet from another dealership. They drilled the license plate installation spots in the wrong places when the temporary tag was installed. Therefore, we could not put our permanent plate on the car. We called the service department and spoke to Johnathan; he routed us to the body shop and we spoke to Rick; the next morning Rick, who is the body shop manager, had a young man named Tyler jump on our car as soon as we arrived. That's service.

We bought a 2012 Nissan Versa from Rod Hatfield in Lexington. Before we even made our first payment the transmission went out in it. It was going to cost $3500 to replace. I called the dealership several times to speak to management but my calls were never returned & I was told there was nothing they could do for us! I went into the dealership & spoke to Kyle who said they didn't have $3500 for a new transmission & we could tow the car to their service department so they could take a look at it. I tried that first but was told it would be over a week before they could get it in & they didn't provide loaner vehicles to their customers that "they weren't Enterprise." A Nissan service center had already diagnosed the issue. Bottom line they sold us a lemon & then wouldn't do a dang thing to help us out when it broke down 3 weeks down the road!! Stay away from this place they are corrupt & will not stand behind their vehicles!!

I had an appointment for 7:00am but was informed technicians do not arrive until 8am. But also, I was informed that they were backed up from Wednesday. I was not informed beforehand that they were backed up, otherwise I would have reschedule my appointment. They did not start working on my car until 1pm that's 5 hours nothing was done to my car. On top of that, my vehicle was not finished until 5pm in the afternoon!! That's over 8 hours of time that was wasted.. Then the guy had the nerve to tell me that the technicians are only paid for 1 hour of work by GM for something that takes 4 hours like it's my fault. This was the worse service experience I have ever had in my life. Not only would I not recommend people not to have their car serviced there... I would have them avoid purchasing a car there if this is how they treat someone who previous purchased a car from them.

I'll be truthful me credit rating is not so great but they got me approved over the phone and paid off a car that I owed more than its worth. Getting that done and not wasting a 2hr.trip was important. Usually buying a car takes what seem like all day- we got the new Cruze we wanted and were on the way home within 2hrs. Dion is the man Rod Hatfield is the place.

I called the dealership a told them what I wanted and gave my info. I talked with Dion and I'll tell what's the truth the man had my new car there after we drove 2 hrs. Even with my not so hot credit score and what's more they paid my old car off and we still drove off with no money down and under 7% interest rate. Their a1 in my book. I owned a 1998 Buick Century and had had it for many years not wanting to get rid of it and really had no intention of doing so. My daughter who just finished getting her nursing degree came to me asking if I could help her replace her car which recently died on her. I made the decision to check out buying a new vehicle for myself so I could give her the Buick Century. I work with a corporation who provides company perks to its employees and one of those was purchasing a new automobile. I went to Rod Hatfield Chevrolet and met Jay Parks one of the sales reps. I told him what I was looking for, about the company perks, and he went out of his way to find the car that I eventually purchased. He was very polite and very knowledgeable of the vehicle. There was no pressure to buy and I was impressed with that. The automobile I purchased was a 2015 Trax LTZ and love the features it has and an incredible ride. Now I wish I had given my daughter the Buick years ago but if I had I wouldn't have the Trax I have now.

I had a great experience with the sales team at Rod Hatfield. Brian my salesman and the sales managers listened to what I needed/wanted and they delivered. I felt like the team was very honest and full of integrity. I felt like Brian really wanted to help me get the best deal I could get. I was honest about where I needed to be in a payment and he did everything to get me there. I have been a loyal customer of a Chevrolet dealership in Louisville. The salesman at the Louisville dealership left the business, so I needed to find a new dealer to shop with. After my experience at Rod Hatfield and with Brian, I now have a new friend and partner. I took my 2015 Chevrolet Silverado in for it's first service on 09/08/2015 for a scheduled appointment. My truck was checked in an taken right back. They changed the oil and filter, rotated the tires, and topped off all fluid levels as needed. I was there for less than an hour. Was very satisfied with the service by all. Would recommend Rod Hatfield to family and friends!

I came in just to look at the 2015 Trax. As I said to look! I luckily got to drive off the lot with one. Nolan and Brian were the best salesmen I have ever dealt with. I came in to purchase a Colorado for my husband as a gift. I knew specifically what I could afford and what he wanted. My salesman did everything possible to find the car that I wanted. He got the manager involved and they were are working very hard to find the car for me. Once they did find the car they also worked so hard to get it to me that evening so I could give it to my husband. The manager, salesman and a few others stayed past closing to get the car ready for me to give to my husband that night. The next week I had to stop by to get a few things that were not ready for me the day I purchased the car. EVERYONE has been so nice, helpful, friendly, non-pressuring. I cannot say enough about everyone there. I will purchase my next car from Chevrolet and I will purchase it from Rod Hatfield. I will make sure everyone knows the experience I have had! It has been wonderful!

I was in my way to the Subaru Dealership to check some cars there. And just when I was passing by the Chevy dealership something told me to stop by. I did, and I couldn't be happier. I got my very first truck ever and I still can't believe I bought a truck or a product from Chevy. I've been a Toyota guy all my life and changing brands was a big dog for me and totally loving the new truck. Dealership did so great that I brought my roommate to get him a new car also withing a week I got my truck. I went from hating Chevy to loving it in a matter of a week. The Malibu Turbo LTZ my roommate got is so nice. I guess I never took the time to check the Chevy products. As of today truck is working great, love the way it rides. The Onstar remote link app is great, just love it! Malibu I haven't or we haven't drive it much yet to say something by we love all the LED blue lighting inside. Plenty of torque to get and go. This people here at the dealership are so great and friendly, that I'm going to say from now on this is the place where I'll be buying my cars or trucks!

There were several great things about my experience. 1) I did not feel any sales pressure whatsover. The sales team was honest and up front in all of our dealings. 2) The team honored the price and discounts offered in their ads. I have dealt with dealerships that advertise one thing and then offer another, but not at this dealership. They honored the ad and discounts that they advertised, and even though I didn't qualify for one particular discount, they did find another that was pretty much the same value. There were no "add ons" or "special charges" like I have experienced elsewhere. 3) Friendly staff. Many came around to introduce themselves and ask while I was there. 4) I asked for accessories (still waiting for install), and Sales Manager offered those without labor being added into the final cost of vehicle, which was the reason I decided to go ahead and by. Customer service does pay. 5) Basically I went in very skeptical and thinking that "this is just another dealership that will end up breaking a promise", but I found that this dealership is different. Great customer service, an honest approach to sales, and a great price. Can't beat that combination.

The waiting room was really cold (and I usually enjoy the cold, but this was extreme) and there was a problem with the tap water... it was orange. Otherwise it was a great visit as usual! I love the power outlets available to charge my devices while I wait, and the free internet is great!

Rick in the Body Shop treated me like family, he kept me informed during the whole process of getting my Chevy Truck back to the like new condition it was before being hit. It was crazy everybody was getting oil changes but Rodhatfield made sure I got an appointment at a later time and helped me get my oil change and get nitrogen in my tires. I would recommend them to anybody.

We were greeted as soon as we arrived. Once we told Brian what we were looking for he drove it under their porch cover becasue it was raining. He answered all our questions, gave us a test drive and was very thorough in explaining all the options. This was a Silverado LTZ which has many bells and whistles so that in itself was a task for him. However, he has very good knowlege of the product. When negoatiating the deal Brian was very fair and honest and got us the deal we wanted. I will certainly recommend Brain and Rod Hatfield Chevy to all my frends, family and coworkers.

After calling and doing a credit application on the phone, I was approved. On the morning of Saturday July 12, 2014 I spoke with Christina, their online chat person three times. The second time was to discuss trade-in, down payment, and out of pocket cost. I spoke with her the third time just to make sure that we had a meeting of the minds and to ensure there were no misunderstandings with either of us. Christina told me that I could use my car as the down payment, and my only out of pocket cost would be whatever the sales tax were. Nothing else. She told me there was absolutely no problem doing this. After arriving that same afternoon, I was greeted by Christina, their sales manager, and a salesperson. As I started to sit down I told the manager and salesman of the pre-arraigned agreement Christina and I had during our multiple chats, and handed him my list of four cars I was interested in. I sat in the lobby for over 30 minutes while the sales manager tried to up sell me into price and yr cars I didnt want. Then the salesman asked to make a copy of my license and left me for another 30-45 minutes to enjoy blaring music, and to watch another person walking around singing rap songs out loud. After he eventually returned, he informed me that they had to have a $1000.00 down payment. Again, I told him this was not what was agreed upon when Christina gave me her promised word of faith that I could use my car as the down payment and pay sales tax. I then asked him what were they considering my trade-in valued at. He only replied with, No one talked to me about that. I asked to speak with Christina. She came out, sat down and I confronted her about her promised agreement that we had. While smirking she said, Sometimes we do this, and sometimes we dont. Christina flat out lied to me in order to get me there, only to try to scam me out of an additional $1000.00. I wasted an entire afternoon because of this liar. As I left I told Christina that I would be leaving reviews. As a man of integrity I have kept my word, something Rod Hatfields Chevy in Lexington, Ky will not do. Unless you want to be lied to, deceived, scammed, and waste your time, dont darken this dealers doorsteps and avoid this place like the plague. As I left, I immediately knew why the McCoys hated the Hatfields.

I was told when I bought my car that my first 2 oil changes would be free. Today I took off work early after calling the service garage at Rod Hatfield and they told me to bring my car in before 4. When I got there they took my information and my keys and I went to the waiting room. I was told about 10 minutes later that they would not change my oil for free like I was told when I bought the car. I was also told if I sent someone there and they bought a car I would receive a $100 check. My friend bought a car and told the sales person I sent her to Rod Hatfield. And she was told it's too late, that offer has expired. Now I will not be sending anyone to buy a car from Rod Hatfield. This is bad business and shady. I am very upset and definitely will not send anyone here ever again.

First of all I hate buying cars. Its always stressful and the good guy bad guy routine turns all of off. Well I was pleasantly surprised today at Rod Hatfield's used car dealership in the deal I got and the Chevy Trailblazer vehicle I wanted with the price including a purchased extended warranty for under my price point. Jesse Hurst was very low key, professional and especially knowledgeable of the vehicle I was interested in. The vehicle had been inspected and serviced with a totally new brake job which caught my eye immediately with the 4 shiny rust free rotors and new brake pads. You won't see that often in a used car lot. And the interesting part is the feedback when I asked about it. Its routine that we do necessary repairs or they don't go on the lot. The process took a bit longer than normal due to computer issues and we had to go back to the new sales location to close things, but all and all it was a very pleasant experience. And the funny part is I was just looking. The price was to good to not buy it and I love the vehicle. I definitely recommend this dealership and if on the market for a new Chevy, this is where I will go.

On the other hand, Mike in the Body Shop is an excellent employee. I went to him on an insurance claim on my Malibu previously before he fixed my problem today. He fixed my car then and he PERSONALLY fixed my 2014 Impala today. It was assembled wrong from the GM Canadian plant. I would take my car back to him for body repairs and definitely recommend the Body Shop. I would give him 5 stars. By the way, I REALLY LOVE the car!!!!!!!

I 1st met the guys at Rod Hatfield last year in April when I came in looking to purchase a new Camaro. At the time they were working in the trailers because their building was under construction. The managers were kind and helpful and the salesman, Gary Johnson, explained all the features of the vehicle. Gary stayed late that night and helped me pair my cell phone with the Bluetooth technology, set up my OnStar, filled my tank with gas, and had it detailed. After driving the Camaro for a while I decided I wanted a 4 door sedan or possibly a SUV. Of course, I contacted the guys at Rod Hatfield, who were happy to assist me. I came in and worked with Jay Parks who showed me the Chevy Equinox and Malibu. He was patient with me and very knowledgeable about the vehicles. The new car sales manager who worked my deal was also helpful because he explained all my financing options and got me a great interest rate. After careful consideration I chose the Chevy Malibu. I am pleased with my purchase and am a Rod Hatfield customer for life. I have referred my friends and co-workers to Rod Hatfield who have all had great experiences. I wasn't sure what I was looking for when I pulled into the lot but the salesman met me at my car door and took the time to thoroughly explore my options and was more than helpful to me that day. I went to Rod Hatfield after being told to go there by a friend who knew they were able to help people with bad credit. I previously had been to 3 other local dealerships who told me they couldn't help me trade out of my Cobalt cause of my situation. The moment I walked into Rod Hatfield I knew it was going to be different then the other dealerships. Bryan, my salesman, and the sales manager took the time to explain my credit situation and spoke about reestablishing my credit through the purchase of a new vehicle. I test drove the Chevy Cruze and loved it! It has all the bells and whistles I like and gets great gas mileage. I even bought Sirus XM radio after my 3 month trial expired. Bryan told me the Cruze comes standard with 10 airbags, which made me feel safe driving with my son in the car. He went over the warranty information and Rod Hatfield Advantage program where I get 2 free oil changes. They didn't make me feel like I was just buying a car, they told me that this car would help boost my credit score to whereI would be able to come back in a few years and buy another car. Since my purchase, I have sent my friends and family members to Rod Hatfield who have all upgraded to nicer cars. Thank you to Rod Hatfield Chevrolet for all you have done for me. This is the first time that I was not pressured into buying a new car. I discussed with Gary Johnson that I may have to move my work bench in the garage to be able for my Traverse to fit, Gary volunteered to come over after work to help me move it. I came in for an oil change and to have my breaks checked on a Thursday afternoon. After explaining my concerns about noises my brakes were making, the service guy worked me into a spot the next day and boy was I happy he did! Turns out my brakes were metal to metal in the front. While I wasn't really prepared to hear this, I was appreciative that they made it a priority to address my concerns and fix the problem in time for me to travel back to Memphis to work the following Monday. Everyone is also very patient and thorough and I always leave feeling as though I have been given the info straight, instead of possibly being sold a service I don't need!

I enjoyed my experience at Rod Hatfield Chevy. I went online to shop and submitted my application. They contacted within minutes to let me know they had the truck I wanted. I was able to do a lot of the process online and over the telephone with ease. When I arrived at the dealership, My sales person, Damon was friendly and helpful. He made working through the paperwork painless, and was able to answer all of my questions. He took the extra time explaining all of the vehicle's features and was able to walk me through what each of the buttons on my console did. After spotting a bargain at this dealership on the internet, we drove from Louisville to Lexington to test drive the car. The description that was given to us over the phone about the condition of the car was accurate. After test driving, we wanted to purchase it until we were presented with the break down of costs. The advertised price was reasonable for the condition of the car but the dealer documentation fee that was then presented to us as an additional cost amounted to more than half of the advertised sales price of the car. This was an out of state sale which only involved a bill of sale and a title that could be mailed to us since we were prepared to pay cash. In our opinion the dealership increases customer traffic with a low "teaser" sales price. Unfortunately, the State of Kentucky does not cap dealer doc fees and this dealership takes full advantage of it.

I had the indicator light come on for the tire inflation on my 2010 Equinox. I tried to resolve it myself and when I wasn't successful I stopped by the dealership. Service was closed but John was inside and I hoped he open the door and give me a clue to what was wrong. I had to drive a long distance the next day and wanted to be sure there wasn't a big problem and I could make my trip. Not only did John explained why I was dealing with the problem he even treated me like a sister and fixed it for me right away. He went above and beyond what I expected him to do especially since the service department was closed. Patient and Kind and better than a Hot Fudge Sundae. Thanks John!!!!

Just noticed today there was a broken piece on the left back black plate under the tail light, I wish they would have told me. I just saw it and would have appreciated knowing all that they knew. It would not have made me change my mind but being a Chaplain I wanted to be treated as they would want to be treated. They did locate an extra key for me and that was greatly appreciated. I bought a used car from Rod Hatfield Used Car Dealership in Lexington, KY. When I test drove the car the brakes made a noise I had never heard. The salesman said that it was a safety system that monitored the brakes and that it was in excellent shape. I guess I was gullible, so I bought the car. One month later I hit another car when the brakes did not work. I took it to another mechanic said the brakes were shot and there was no safety system like that. Just FYI, they are crooked. I did contact them about it and they never returned my call or emails.

Had to pay over $1400 in repairs in May. I got my 2006 Chrysler 300 in September of 2012. The very next day i had stalling issues and took it back. the service department said they could find nothing wrong with it. I took it home and it started stalling again the next day. Due to money issues i was not able to get it in for service again till about the first of April. I took it in with the same problem as before, but to a different shop. At Botts Garage in Harrodsburg. He noticed the wrong oil was in it, same oil that was in it when i bought it. He changed the oil for the cost of oil and labor and a diagnostic test ($140.00) I brought it home and on the way back to lexington started to stall again. The next week i took it back to a different shop. Bennets garage in Harrodsburg. They noticed a crack in the radiator that as very old. Pre dated the time i bought it. I replaced it for $460.00. The radiator was still not fixing the stalling. so after i saved even more money i was able to take it to Bob Allen dealership in Danville. They looked over the car and found a lot of problems that were due to age and were definitely problems that were there when i bought it. i would list them all but it is 3 pages of print outs. they randge from dry rotted hoses to bad cv axel boots and the PCM ($440.00 by itself)The tie rods were shot and the injector o- rings. Also belt and belt tensioner replaced. As well as all 16 spark plugs were wore out and replaced. As well as trans electrical plug. 2nd page...in take gaskets had to be replaced. Also Plug adapters replaced. There is more i have in there report. When i went to Rod Hatfield i ask to speak to Tim Hawk the sales manager and wanted to see the 130 point inspection that was supposed to be ran on all used cars they sell. He sent me to Jason Beckett and i presented these problems to him and again ask for the 130 point inspection report. He said they would not have that after a month because they just dont keep paperwork like that. I told him these issues were present when i bought the car and the 28 year SEA certified Chrysler mechanic said all these issues would have been more than noticeable if they did the 130 point inspection. Jason spoke with Phillip From Bob Allen and Jason told me that these things made no since and probably what caused my issue was driving in rain and water getting in a part. i ask Phillip at Bob Allen if this was possible and he said " Not even. What do they sell cars you cant drive in the rain'. Jason only offered to trade me into another car AFTER i got this one fixed. He only wanted to give me $10,000 trade on a $13,000 dollar car PLUS I HAD TO REPAIR MY CURRENT CAR MYSELF. I have spent money, time, lost work and missed getting my kids to school because of this. The $1400 plus $460.00 for the radiator and $140.00 for the oil and diagnostics is what im out. Your Desired Resolution: i want all of the issues that they had to miss on the inspection that they should have fixed covered. all the cost of labor and parts. ook my car in for some repairs. after giving them a detailed list of what it could be. they had my car for two days with there best man on it and the wanted to rip out my transmission and do "exploratory surgery". I immidiatly told them to "Stop what your doin right now"! the next day i removed my recently replaced theromstat with a GM one and hav'nt had any problems since (Over 6 months). I would normally say this was an honest mistake but i told them i recently replace my thermo with an aftermarket one and all they did was belittle my intelligence and try to get a big payday only i'm not a sucker. all i can say is BEWARE! cause these guys will rip you off!!!

I contacted this dealer online about a vehicle I was interested in an within an hour someone had called me. The dealer is about an hour and a half away from my home so they were able to do a lot of the stuff over the phone. We worked out that I would come in the next day to drive the vehicle and the following morning the sales agent contacted me again to confirm that I was coming. I was not impressed with their initial offer and was ready to walk away when they came back with what we discussed over the phone. Overall I would recommend this dealer.

I haven't owned a new vehicle in 10 years and searched from Knoxville, TN to Cincinnate, OH for a 2012 Tahoe. Rod Hatfield in Lexington, KY was the cheapest and less sarcastic of the dealerships I dealt with. They were up front about everything and only wanted a chance to earn my business without taking all day to do it, which was nice. We were only there about 4-5 hours purchasing this new vehicle. That was much better than when we purchased our 2002 Camry. I'd definatley go back and will have to when my 4 year old turns 16...lol. Great place to deal with!

I went to Rod Hatfield Chevrolet because I was interested in buying a used SUV. I asked an American made SUV, newer model, low miles and I needed to be done with in 2.5 hrs. I went in at 1pm on a Monday afternoon and was out by 3:30pm that afternoon. Rod Hatfield offered me a great amount for my trade and I was fincanced, papers signed, temp. tags on, trade in cleaned out and made the exchange of new keys for old...I was at my next task by 4pm. No hassel, no fluff, just great customer service and Rod's had no problem delivering on what I needed for my family in the amount of time I asked for! The atmosphere was upbeat, clean and comfortable....I would recommend Rod Hatfields to anyone that is looking for a new or used vehicle. I went to Rod Hatfield because I needed a new used car and I heard the service was awesome. The selection to choose from was great and my sales person answered all my questions and made the car buying process so easy! I traded in my 2000 Solara for a 2009 Malibu and I love it!! I also have since used the service department to service my Malibu and Darvin and his team always take care of my car as if it were their own. Recently I traded my Malibu in for a new Equinox! I love it! It had been almost 2 years since my first experience but my new car sales person Mike Reffett did a great job explaining everything to me about my new car and walked me thru the whole process and I was in and out within 1 hour!! THE so called manger is a total jerk .Would love to be able to speak with the person or persons whom own this dealership.we bought a used car signed all the paper work was told what our payment would be then 2 days later get a call saying we need to come back sign new papers that our payment would go up .told them we would bring car back and get our check back was told didnt know if we could get our check back was told they would send the law after the car if we didnt return it.the most rude manger ive ever dealt with .i hope everyone reads these reviews before going there seems like it is very common this for this dealership

I went to Rod Hatfield last night in search of a used SUV. It's was like watching a movie or playing some sick game. I waited over an hour for them to determine the value of my vehicle. They offered me about 3000.00 less than a few previous dealerships. Then they showed me a 1999 Land Rover Discovery Series II 4dr Wgn w/Leather. Thank goodness I was not jumpy for the offer. They offered to take care of my payoff and to put me in the Land Rover on the road for $12000.00. As I'm doing my research this morning, I discover that vehicle is listed on their website for 7955.00. I appraised the vehicle on Kelley Blue Book and the dealer price is only 6898.00 for excellent condition. The private buyer price is $5648.00. I smell a rat. This appears to be dirty dealing to me. I'm disappointed they would try to take advantage of me to such a degree. They can be sure I will not be recommending anyone to their dealership, ever!

Vince, the General Manager, had a car dropped off at my office for me to test drive. Went to Winchester dealership because they called and said we were preapproved. Got there and drove off in a vehicle. Monthly prices were much higher than wanted but my husband loved the vehicle. Two weeks later got a call telling us to come in because they needed more information for the finance company. We get there and are told that we have to choose another car because financing wouldn't go through. Then we drive off in a 2011 dodge charger, and what do you know two weeks later they call and tell us that we need to bring the most recent paycheck stub in. We get there and once again they say the financing did not go through. The car lot then tried to put us in a 2009 dodge charger that had alomost 60 thousand miles on it for about the same price. I told them I was not doing it.I argued with them and finally got my down payment and trade in back. I feel lucky that I got my money back, but I am not happy about how many financing companies they went through.

I contacted them to purchase a used vehicle, and was asked if I would prefer a new one. I said of course, but that wouldn't be possible as I have just had a bankruptcy discharged. They had me come in and look at a 2012 Chevy Malibu, did the paperwork and said they had me approved. I told them several times I did not want to drive it off the lot till the deal was set in stone. They assured me it was. I noticed the next day that 3 of the door handles were black and 1 was chrome. I took it to the dealer a week later and they were nice as could be and said they would order me a new handle and would call when it came in and there would be no charge. A week later they call me to come in and get my door handle replaced. When I get there they inform me that the loan never went through and that I would have to give up the car. This was 2 weeks later! Needless to say I was upset especially since I was called to come get my car fixed only to be told I no longer had one! I will never shop here again and warn everyone I know to stay away. They shouldn't let you take a car home if the loan is not final!

Three weeks later they called me and said it wouldn't work out because my credit didn't go threw (three weeks later now).They told me I was ok then Three weeks later it not that is dirty and they talk to me bad and disrespect me and my wife.That car lot need some respect for saleman and bossies but I will never go back there again.

I went to their used dealership down in Winchester, KY. I worked with a sales person by the name of Ricco, he was nice, but he kept forcing cars down my throat after I told him several times "I don't know what I'm looking for I'm just here to figure out what kind of car I want since I just got in a wreck not to long ago" he understood that to a point, but didn't listen to the fact I had a price rang I needed to say in along with waiting for my car insurance company to pay off the reminder of my auto loan. Either way I figured out what used car I wanted and told them that lucky I saw off Cars.com they had the car for a price around 13.9K which was in the rang I was looking for, they allowed me to test drive it along with I was pleased with, but sadly I had a house emergency that needed to resolved and told them I would be back the following day to iron out all the details on getting this car. Their the deal maker, I don't remember his name, basically yelled at me and told me I didn't have a car and that I needed to sit down and get this today. Right after I had told them I had a broken item in my house that wouldn't just cost me lots of money in the long run, it would also be costly to my roommates...long story short I left the dealership. Ricco called me the following day trying to check up on me and offer me a deal on the car I wanted for the price rang of 16.9K...I wasn't happy when I saw the Cars.com listing for a 13.9K. I would recommend do not deal with Rod Hatfeild, they don't listen and they are looking for nothing but a mark up and more ways to screw people out of the car they actually wanted!

I took my corvette to this dealership a couple of years ago for a radiator flush. They blew the radiator & water pump. They then replaced those parts with cheap aftermarket pieces, but charged me for genuine GM parts, even though they were cheap aftermarket junk. I called their bluff on that dishonesty , posting it on another consumer website. Unfortunately, my car's computer recently went bad, and hatfield's thieves are the only chevy dealership near me. So, I once again had to make an appointment with them for this new problem. The service manager on duty at the time gladly set up the appointment for the next monday morning. However, when I arrived for this appointment, the manager on duty was Darvin, the man who originally ripped me off the first time around. He actually met me at the door and refused to work on my car, using the fact that I spoke out against their dishonesty as the excuse not to do the work. I asked him why he was acting like this and his reply was " You said enough on the internet, didn't you ?" He behaved like an upset teenager, totally unprofessional ! As if I had no right to speak up & expose their dishonesty. His outburst was actually a blessing in disguise. I found a private, corvette only, mechanic with 40 years experience to do the work. I cannot say this enough, the people at rod hatfield's service department are CROOKS !! If you care about being treated right & as a valued customer, STAY AWAY FROM ROD HATFIELD CHEVROLET !!!

I bought my Toyota 4Runner from Rod Hatfield Chevy. Highly recommend them. I did everything online so it real smooth. Shopped around and found it on Autotrader.com. Called for appointment and they had SUV ready when I arrived. Just as advertised with prices, options, miles, etc. Couldn't have received any better service. Rod Hatfield Chevy made the whole car buying process QUICK & EASY!

We made an offer on a car on the website and they called my husband and excepted it. They then ran the credit app. and said we were approved at a low rate. We live 3 hours away. We told them on Friday that we would be there on Saturday by 4 to pick up the car. We drove the 3 hours and were told they sold the car earlier that day! The salesman that sold it said well the guy paid cash!!! So after we throw a fit they go in and find another car at a dealer in the town we live in and sell it to us for the same price! We ask about all the options and are assured by 3 salesmen that it has them all that the other car had. When we did the paper work they asked us to sign the WE OWE paper so we questioned the options again and were told it had it all. So they did the paper work again with the new cars info on it and we signed and gave them a check for money down. They agree to get the car and deliver it to us. Then we get a call saying that the interest rate was incorrect but we still agree to the deal. Then they call and tell us it doesn't have the ground effects pkg that they assured us it had. So we agree to pay to have this added. When we asked them why they told us it had it 3 times they all denied it! Then they tell us the other dealer won't release the car right away that it will be a few more days. Then they call and say they don't have time to pick it up because they are having a big sell so it will be a few more days. Then they call a few days later and say they don't want the deal at all because we are going to give them a bad rating when Chevrolet sends out the survey!!!!!!! And I wonder why they would think this!!! I don't know how these people sleep at night. Hopefully this will all bite them in the butt one of these days soon!!! And it is funny there are so many comments on here about there dishonesty!

have brought 6 vehicles from rod hatfield chevrolet have always been treated great jake and his team has always went the extra mile to get me in the vehicle i wanted for the deal i wanted and during the purchase of my 09 silverado i went to 3 other dealerships and look at three trucks around the same price and none of the three could come close to the deal rod hatfield chevrolet give me and to quote 2 of the dealerships if they can give u that deal u better take it so i did.. and even after the sale has kept in touch to make sure im satisfifed and even has them washed for me from time to time at no charge and the service department has always been very helpful and took good care of my vehicles highly recommened

They made a deal with us. We have have it on paper. Then they had us drive from out of town for "this deal". When we got there and qualified for 0% financing. (which we later found out doesnt happen often and nobody's expected to quailify) the sales manager tried to slide in $1700 without telling us. I caught it and said no deal. And then he got mad and started getting rude with us. We got up and walked out and e followed us, the owner was standing outside. And he turned to the owner and said we were being disrespectful to him. The owner Vince, not Rod Hatfield, Waved us toward the road and said" let them go they dont matter". I've bought 3 vehicles here in the past. The next day my wife contacted GM and all the managers here called us back, and the sales manager Jake even yelled at my wife on the phone.Takes a big man to yell at a woman on the phone. We had a piece of paper with the deal written on it, Jake even said that was his writing, then looked at us and said thats not the deal we were given. Huh?? Vince called my wife a couple times and wanted to keep arguing with here. And to tell us we didnt know what we were doing and how the car business works. I used to work at a Chevrolet dealership and now work at an auto assembly plant with 7000 employees. I posted this story on a couple local web sites, and have gotten several replies with similar and some worse stories about this place. So I just want people to be aware of what this place does to people.

Sold me a 2005 Corvette with the wrong type of key fobs - which drives some of the car functions. Promised to send me the owner's manual because it was locked up in the service shop. Then they sent the wrong one to another customer. Then it was destroyed in shipping. Then they were going to send me a new one. Then they just stopped responding to emails. Air cleaner and cabin filter was filthy.
