My salesman, Miguel, was amazing. He was very informative, took his time answering all our questions, attentive to my texts for updates (since they experienced a hurricane and the truck was supposed to be transported there the week before the storm). Likewise, our finance assistant was equally as amazing. Never made me feel pressure on any specific warranty but was extremely helpful in providing all the information so I could make an informed decision. Love those guys!

Stacy....That should be all I need to say, really. She's freaking awesome and patient and excels at communication! When I was on the fence, she could've easily sold that 2021 Yukon to any number of people and told me to be on my way and wait for the next. (not that she held it for me, just that she kept in communication with me about it instead of just moving on - and that resulted in a sale!) I still need to come back for my detailing but I'm too busy loving the Yukon that I honestly had no real intention of buying. And Ethan. Can't forget Ethan. Worked with financing with us (can't remember the first guy's name) and stayed late to get it done. Much appreciation all the way around.

I could not be more pleased with a Service Department from a Dealership than I am with the group at Ross Downing GMC. I am treated with respect and have been taken care of as I would have expected and actually above that. If anyone comes away from there not feeling this way they are probably not ever happy or having one hell of a bad day.

This is the 4th vehicle I have purchased from Ross Downing over the past 12 years; I have always found the experience to be superior as it was in this instance as well. I have worked with Jayson Bernius in purchasing my last 3 vehicles from Ross Downing and would highly recommend him. He is very knowledgeable about the vehicles and goes above and beyond to exceed the expectations of the customer. His level of professionalism is exceptional. In the 23 personal and company vehicles I have purchased over the past 20 years, I have found that there are few salespeople, etc. that been as passionate and knowledgeable about their products while maintaining the same exceptional level of professionalism as does Jayson Bernius.

Slowest dealership I'very ever been too, and that's saying a lot. I liked at first that they were not persistent and pushy. However, that rolled over into "give me one minute"....and 2 hours pass by! They knew little about their vehicles and even less about customer service. Will NOT be buying another vehicle from them.

Problem was diagnosed quickly, parts ordered, and appointment scheduled. Work on the truck was done in a timely manner and the problem was resolved. Staff kept me up to date on progress as I waited for the work to be completed. Friendly and attentive staff. I was very pleased with the Service department.

My Salesman, James Davidson made this experience so seamless. The process from beginning to end was efficient with no hassles. Ross Downing rolled out the red carpet for me like you would expect a Cadillac dealer to do for its customers - very impressed!!! I contacted Ross Downing In reference to a specific model GMC. Salesman Jack Starkey contacted me and provided all of the information I requested. I didn't make an appointment but when I arrived I asked for Jack. He showed me the vehicle I asked to see and was very informative but not pushy. Rudy, is a pleasure to work with. helpful, responsive to questions and quick to provide call back and follow up. At no time did I feel pressured to make a purchase. Ross Downing GMC was the best dealership that I have purchased from. My salesman, John was very professional and knowledgeable about the truck of my dreams. I would definitely buy from there again and I recommend anyone looking for a GM product to let that be the first stop! In the past, purchasing a car has usually been a stressful experience. Not this time. John Dudek picked up from my USAA web site search that I was searching for a Lacrosse. He called to say he had good news, having on the floor, a Lacrosse meeting my search criteria for options/packages.I drove over the next day during some extremely stormy weather. John was courteous, knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to work with! There were no high pressure, arm twisting tactics.Since it was near closing with bad weather continuing, I was assured my name was on the car until we could get back the next day.In addition to being equipped the way I wanted, there was some unexpectedly good discounts, and advertised Black Friday specials. I drove home in a fantastic car, and not stresed, while spending much less than expected.If you like "red carpet" treatment, this dealership delivers!

Mr. James Davidson was very helpful and made my experience purchasing a vehicle much more pleasant than what I am accustom to.I appreciated not having to deal with high pressure sales tactics. Service advisor was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. One big cavaot was when sales manager Jay Stricker stopped by and thanked me for being a loyal customer. I was amazed by his professionalizm and the fact he took time out of his day to check on a customer in service. We all know used car dealers. I worked with salesman and used car manager on 2011 certified cad. They kept trying to get me into dealership 90 miles away, but I wanted deal over internet based on my truthfulness.. I presented my car and sent pictures and told them what I wanted and they gave it to me based on their final inspection. They did same with their car and their price subject to my inspection. I got there drove the car and in about 20 mins was signing papers on on my way. Great people to deal with.

the salesman that I spoke to on the phone n ultimately ended up buying from was very helpful, provided me with all the details that I asked for. I assumed that I would be greeted with the same when I visited the lot. My experience when I got to the lot was a bit different. No one greeted me on the lot after I asked for Michael b. He was not in n I received satisfactory service. I was promised gas cards for this but to date have not received. Overall, will do business with them again based on price, helpfulness and pleasant experience in the end. I love my new car.

All work was done in a timely manner. Was in and about in about an hour, witch is not bad I have been to other dealerships and spent over 2 hours for the same process. But the other dealership I went to for my truck said they done everything on the list and didn't (rotate tires and fill all low fluids). It's worth the hour drive to go to Ross Downing GMC.

I had a blow out for some unknown eeason. 10 minutes leaving dealership on I 55.Didn't hit or roll onto anything just tire came off rim.Called dealership Michael Babin and someone else came and brought a new tire and rim and changed out the blow out one.Very well appreciated.

I have purchased probably 4 other vehicles in my lifetime. All the way from Metairie to Gonzales. Purchasing this vehicle at your car lot was the most pleasurable purchase I have ever made. My salesman was great. Not pushy or demanding in the least bit. There was very little haggling once we were with the finance manager. (Which is always the part I dread)and we were in and out well under 2 hours with the exact car I wanted and the exact payment I needed. This was truly appreciated and I will not hesitate to come back in the future.

Contacted a Internet salesman and set up an appointment. Upon arrival of the appointment I drove the truck and then sat and talked numbers briefly with him not really doing crap. Same old let me talk to my Mgr BS with nothing achieved. I guess what do you expect from a kid as a salesman. He was a rude little snot nose and then very pushy to try and run my credit. I would not go back due to poor service nor would I send anyone I know. Went to Pemier Honda with my expectations far exceeded.

I found Ross Downing's prices on the Internet to be accurate and lower then all their competitors. No bait and switch. My wife and I drove all the way to Hammond from Chalmette to purchase our Acadiana. I had a baby, small kid, mother-in-law, and eagerly awaiting wife. Amanda our sales person and Coach are finance person were totally awesome. We knew exactly what we wanted and it was sitting there waiting for us already cleaned ready to go. I would totally recommend Amanda all my friends and family if they were looking to purchase a GMC.

had a Google one. Tires were rotated and aligned. Great customer service. I left my magnetic antenna on top of my vehicle and it was inadvertently knocked over on top of my truck by the service depot. Minor bruise top my top but nothing major hurt. Will remember to remove it on my next visit. Visit was still a good one.

I first dealt with Paul Alford through an online quote and email through the Chevrolet Dealership. He was very patient with me and had a low pressure approach which lured me in to talk to him and test drive. We went over the numbers but I changed my mind on some options and found exactly what I wanted at the Ross Downing GMC store down the street. I contacted Paul while he was on vacation and he set me to see Jack Starkey. Jack also had a low pressure non aggressive sales approach. So I bought the GMC. I recently purchased a demo 2014 Yukon XL. As was my previous experience, everyone at the dealership was great! Jay Stricker along with the salesman Jack made buying this beautiful new vehicle a pleasure. They both were very helpful and professional. Carey in Finance was also professional. This vehicle had to be serviced shortly after the purchase. Earl in service was also very helpful and loaned me a vehicle to use while my Yukon was being serviced. The service department was very thorough. I left my watch in the loaner Yukon and Brittany in service called me on this and kept it for me until I could pick it up. Y'all are doing a great job!

I brought my CTS in for regular maintenance. Gary Wilson handled everything great. He kept in touch with me about the maintenance schedule and also used the coupons that I brought. Ross Downing went above and beyond to fix the issues that occurred with the used vehicle that I purchased from them. They replaced the keyfob that was not working, and they sent the van to 3 dealerships to find the root of the noise I was hearing. The provided me with at vehicle to drive while my car was in the shop and made every effort to make the make it easy for me to get the loaner vehicle. I just wanted to say thank you to Jason Walter and Ross Downing for going above and beyond to fix the issues with my van. I bought what I thought was my dream van at Ross Downing Buick GMC Cadillac. This dream turned out to be a nightmare. One key fob did not work when we first used it the other is starting to malfunction. This will cost $400 to replace the keys. I noticed a noise while driving, only 3 days after purchase. I notified Ross Downing they said bring it in for them to look at. Their service department said it was a transmission problem. So they took it to Community motors. The van was looked at all of two hours by community for them to say there is no noise. I took the van to my local Chrysler dealership and they looked at it for three days. They heard the noise but it is not transmission it is either a wheel bearing or cv joint going bad. Now the van is having issues getting cruise control to engage occasionally and the rear passenger power door opens on its own causing the headlights and four ways to flash as is opens and closes on its own. The doors are locked and the rear door opens on its own causing a weak battery if it is not noticed. I would not recommend Ross Downing. If you do buy here make sure to get the extended warranty, you will need it. I guess they new it would be needed that is why they push it so hard.

My truck has had brake issues since I bought it in May 2013. This was the third time it was sent back to service to find the issue and correct it. While truck was being serviced they put me into a 2014 GMC Z71 4x4 with only 9 miles on it to use until mine was completed. They finally got the brakes right by replacing the rear drums and took care of their customer by giving them a new truck to use. Great service.

Scott however, needs to learn to deal with one customer before leaving them to speak to another customer. He was called out of a meeting to see to my needs. He spoke to a Cadillac owner for several minutes before even acknowledging my presence. Then he FINALLY spoke to me about my problem and we went to look at my vehicle. He left me AGAIN to talk to the same Cadillac owner. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!! I know that GMC, Cadillac, and Buick Ross Downing customers are all important. WHY THEN did Scott feel the need to make the Cadillac owner his main priority. Cadillac owners do not keep Ross Downing up and running.

my service was done in a timely fashion, the only issue was the tyre pressure system was not repaired and i had to go home and return to the dealership to borrow a car to get the repair done to the tyre pressure system, but apart from that the service given from Ross Downing was excellent as always

Jack Starley is an excellent salesperson. His is very professional and helpful, he tries hard to help each one of his customers find the right car for them. I am a repeat customer of his -- I purchased a 2010 Cadillac Escalade and this time I purchased a 2014 Cadillac XTS.

This is our second vehicle bought from John Dudek at Ross Downing Motors in Hammond. No pressure, very accommodating, and an extensive inventory to choose from. The pricing was much better than the local New Orleans dealerships and it was well worth the hour drive there.

The experience was great. I had an unusual situation where I had purchased a 2012 Mercedes GLK 2 months earlier from a dealership in Covington - had an unpleasant experience with their management staff and was then extremely unhappy with the vehicle. I knew I would not go back to that dealership and was concerned that it would be difficult to get out of the vehicle without being hosed on the transaction. I was afraid I would be stuck with a vehicle that just wasn't working for me. Basically, I came into your dealership thinking there was no way it would work. However, much to my surprise after a few hours of going back and forth and your people pulling a rabbit or two out of their hats we were able to get to a place that I could live with. I have to say that everyone I interacted with from my little sales guy to your management staff were great. They were extremely professional and went to great lenghts to put together a deal that worked for both of us. I realize thats what they do all day long, make deals of which must be profitable and that no dealership ever wants to lose a sale. The difference is in the experience and how you feel when you walk away know you just dropped big bucks! There were some things that had changed with my credit score within the two month time spand between the purchase of the Benz and this new SRX, which cost me a couple of additional points - my note was higher than I had hoped it would be. I wasn't happy about that and not sure exactly why, but your management staff were able to get the interest rate lowered a bit which was good. I will just wait a few months or so and refinance! Bottom line is, my husband is going to be in the market for a new vehicle within the next year and we will be back to purchase our GMC truck from Ross Downing. The way I see it, that speaks volumes to my level of satisfaction. Thank you!

Deal went well other than getting completely low-balled on my trade (1500 less offered than other dealerships in Baton Rouge) and the Finance Manager that really tried to screw us over. He started with an interest rate of 9.95%! Finally ended in one slightly over 5%. He kept saying that my credit was an issue when it wasnt. Kept asking me to add on additional warranties and insurances. He was much more of a high-pressure sales guy than the salesman! My husband and I nearly walked out 3 times due to the lack of respect for our budget and financing requirements. We ended up with a nice vehicle at a decent price, but we had to play games to get it. My recommendation- if you come here make sure you stick to your guns because the sales and finance guys will try to mess you over.
