I found exactly what I was looking for, partially by luck, but also by the relentlessness of my sales rep trying to find me the car I really wanted without compromising. I never felt pressured and everyone was really friendly. I had previously gone to another Ford dealership and felt discouraged because they were pushing me into something I didn’t want, without even considering other options. I felt very different after my experience with Rowe Ford. Also there was a dog there and that definitely added to the experience.

Just purchased a used camper built on a 22’ Transit chassis and I wanted to establish a relationship with a Ford dealer/service center. So I visited Rowe. From the initial conversation, to the service appointment, to the conversation with the body shop, everything has been done with professionalism and friendliness. It was obvious that the place was busy and everyone was working 100%+ to take care of customers. I feel good about the relationship going forward and feel my vehicle is in really competent hands.

We were met at the door by Jake Rush who was very polite and courteous. I am a 78 year old woman and he explained and was very patient with me. I was accompanied by my son and daughter-in-law, and they both liked him very much as well. He was very very accommodating, and had gone to another dealership to get the car I wanted. And then I decided to take one they had in the yard. He was very patient and personable and seemed to go out of his way to make us comfortable and happy.

I'm not good at writing so I wasn't going to write anything but you won't acknowledge the first part of my survey unless I write something which I don't believe is right. I answered all the questions on your survey and that should have been enough. At 73 years of age I have adjusted quicker than I thought I would in working automatic locks of car doors and windows that you don't have to hand crank. I've never had a car with automatic windows and doors that lock by pushing a button on your key ring. I've always had to lock and unlock my cars with the key and hand crank my windows up and down. Thanks to Jason for his patience in explaining all the new things that I have never before had in a car. A special thanks to Sharon Crossman in the service department who was in charge of all the appointments for service on my 2009 Accent. Because I trusted her honesty when I brought my 2009 Accent I chose to purchase my first new car from Rowe and not another dealership.

Leif worked with me over the phone to select a vehicle with desired amenities and price point then let me complete the deal at the end of the day. He got me out for a test drive to be sure I still liked the SantaFe (I was replacing a 12 year old one bought new from another area dealer that I probably will not do business with again.) Rowe ads inspired me to check them out and Leif offered great customer service with no pressure. Additional options were presented that offered value for what I expect to be another long-term investment. He didn't try to push me into extra features for which I had no desire. The dealership is a pleasant space and each person was friendly in a non-pushy way. Though they're a bit far for regular service, I would not hesitate to use them. I'd definitely recommend them and would buy another vehicle there.

I pretty much knew what I wanted when I arrived and it was refreshing that Larry, the salesman, really didn't try to talk me into something else. He was very courteous and friendly on the test drive. He seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the 2017 Elantra. There was a bit of a wait to get the paper work done, but I think this was because I was the first person ever to lease a 2017 Elantra and pay the whole lease up front. Everyone was apologetic about the wait and I'm sure they worked as quickly as they could. Overall, it was a great car buying experience. I would recommend Rowe Hyundai, in Westbrook, Maine, to anyone.

Looking back, I'm blown away (in a very good way) by the whole experience. I picked up my Shadow Black Focus RS on Saturday, 9/17 after 2 - 3 weeks of negotiating. It was ready and waiting when I arrived in Westbrook. I think I was still in a state of shock that I was actually picking up an RS but was immediately greeted upon arrival by Ed Giroux. After having gone back and forth texting and phoning for the better part of 3 weeks it was a pleasure to finally meet him. Ed made the deal happen. He worked with me to get the car at a price I was comfortable with. He was totally responsive to texts, email, phone etc., totally professional and incredibly fun to work with and he knows the car inside and out. Before leaving, his crash course on the key features was effective, efficient and given with military precision. Between working with Ed & Rowe Ford, it was worth the price paid and the 280 mile trip to Maine ...and back home again that same day. I've been buying Fords for 30 years and Rowe is a very impressive dealer both from an aesthetic view and from the way they handled the entire car buying experience after I arrived.I can't stress how impressed I am with Rowe Ford of Westbrook (they have another location I'm not familiar with). Thanks again Ed....

Worked with Devin at first. He was very knowledgable and easy to talk to. Because he new about the different engines available in the Tucson, I came in for a second look at the Tucson. I had already driven the base mode and was looking to drive an ECO. While no ECO models were available, Devin knew that the ECO had the same engine as the SPORT and arranged for me to come in for test drive. Devin was busy with other customers on the day I came in. He introduced me to Jim who took me for a test drive and ultimately sold me the car. There were a few scratches on the vehicle, and Jim made arrangements with the bodyshop at Rowe to take care of it. I was impressed by how well the sales persons, body shop and service persons worked with each. They seemed to be very cooperative. Thanks for a great experience and a great car! Michelle Gill

This person was upset when I declined to purchase any of the extended protection services offered and made a disparaging remark about my reference to Consumer Reports magazines opinion of extended protection services and I told him that if I always followed the magazines opinion I would not be at a Hyundai dealership. Instead I would go to Toyota. This purchase is the third Hyundai vehicle that I have owned,

My wife and I are full time RVers and have had a hard time finding a dealer where we could get our 15000 mile service done on our 2015 Ford Class C MH. I contacted Rowe Westbrook Ford on 8/8/16 at about 10 am and they told me there was a 4:30 pm slot available in their heavy truck shop. I arrived at about 3:15 and spoke with Duane Harvey the service writer. He got us in immediately and took great care of us. We were ready to go by about 5:00. Duane has a great personality and was very efficient. I would recommend this dealer for whatever your Ford needs are! Thanks Duane.

Overall good experience. Didn't like the wait time involved and lack of communication regarding initial payment requirements. We were not informed of the maximum charge for a debit card causing us to have to leave the dealership and return. We were waiting around after deciding to buy the car for multiple hours to wait for paperwork to be completed and the car to be cleaned.

The entire team, led by salesman Keith Jalbert with an assist from Greg West, did a great job working to earn my business.For me, the key to an enjoyable car buying experience is to do your research and go into a dealership well-prepared. It's a business transaction - it's not personal. In this case, Rowe had the used car I wanted. I knew what it was worth on the market, I knew what my trade was worth, and I lined up low-rate financing beforehand.We quickly settled on a price for the car and trade-in. While I had financing ready to go, the Rowe team found a lender to match my low rate, so I financed with them. There was no BS, no trying to sell me expensive add-ons that I didn't want or need. A couple hours after I arrived I drove off the lot with my new car.Hats off to Keith, Greg and the rest of the Rowe team. They were professional, courteous and responsive. 2 years ago I purchased a used Hyundai Sonata at Rowe. After reaching my warranty maximum for mileage and time, I decided to look at new cars on the lot during the Memorial Day Sale. Jason Burns, the salesman that sold me my first Sonata was available and eager to show me the vehicles that were in my price range and suited to my transportation needs. He patiently answered all my questions with excellent knowledge of the product. We had a great buying experience. We had our 2 year old toddler with us throughout the entire process and it still went smoothly. Jim helped keep our little one entertained, plenty of fist bumps, while showing us multiple vehicles and detailed all the features. We took a test drive with the car seat, came back and told Jim the SUV is great but we just didn't feel the "wow". He immediately brought us to another SUV that gave us that wow we were looking for. He understood our needs and quickly addressed them. In the end, we narrowed down to two vehicles, 2016 vs 2017, when we couldn't decide, he patiently allowed us to privately discuss. When we finally decided on the 2017, they fairly negotiated the price with us for the new vehicle and gave us a reasonable value on our trade in.

I had been looking for an SUV with a 3rd row seating option and came upon a 2013 Kia Sorento at Rowe Ford in Westbrook. This was the first car we decided to look at and the first dealership of the day. we arrived at 10:00 and by 2:00 I drove out of the lot with a great, reliable vehicle and zero regrets. My husband and I met salesman Jason Burns and it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Jason was polite, informative, helpful and really personable. I never felt pressured at all to purchase the Sorento and I honestly felt like he was 'giving it to me straight' during our conversations. Not only that, but after talking numbers (and realizing that this car may be too expensive for me and my budget), I told him the top dollar I could make as a car payment each month and he/his team worked hard to keep the monthly payment very close to that amount. The long and short of it is, I had previously had a 2008 AWD Mercury Milan sedan with over 100,000 miles on it and left the dealership with a 2013 AWD SUV with a 3rd row option, 26,000 miles, 7 year warranty and interior/exterior cosmetic warranty for $100 more than I was paying each month for the Mercury. You can't beat that! I am so pleased with my vehicle and extra pleased to have found that there are salesmen around who actually want you to be happy with your purchase. Thanks, Jason!

I spent maybe a month driving around to different dealers in Brunswick, Topsham, Libson, Lewiston, Auburn and Portland trying to find a vehicle. I intentionally decided not to go back down to Saco because of the bad experience I had with a dealer down there the last time. I test drive a lot of vehicles within my search to find a vehicle that would match the price range and mileage that i was looking for. I spent a lot of hours online each day just trying to find something, and after leaving class everyday I would drive around to see if what I had seen online match what the dealers had in their lot. to my disappointment most of what they had did not suit my needs. One day I pulled into Rowe Ford and after driving around looking I ended up over by Rowe Hyundai. I was just about to exit the lot because I had not seen anything that matched what I was looking for, then just as I was about to pull out I saw it! Looked just right and had a price that was appealing to my pocket. I exited the car that I was driving and went to take a closer look at it. A salesman came out, introduced himself as Keith and asked if he could to assist me? I said certainly. He was very professional and courteous, he went and printed the car fax vehicle report, offered coffee and water and asked his boss if i would be able to take the vehicle to my mechanic all the way in Topsham to have it checked out. After having it checked out i decided that i was going to take it. Keith went and get the vehicle service report and I looked them over. The finance guy was very friendly, what I liked was that you don't feel like your being pushed into anything. Overall it was an amazing experience that out performed the service I got from the dealer I had the last time. I would recommend anyone in going to ROWE. And that quick service I got in taking care of that screw in the plate area was quick and easy THANK YOU Keith for setting that up. I have always have a soft spot for the Sonata's so hopefully after graduation if I find a better job I will be back for a trade. THANK YOU GUYS FOR PROVIDING EXCELLENT SERVICE THAT MAKES THIS CUSTOMER WANT TO COME BACK! The service that I got has caused me to depend on my HEURISTICS when I make my next purchase.

I went in to Rowe Ford in Westbrook a few weeks ago to get a routine oil change and tire rotation (the works package). I took my car here because it's close to where I live, and our regular mechanic moved to a location about 45 minutes away, so I thought I'd give Rowe a try for routine maintenance. After my car had been taken care of, an employee came over to me and told me he had some bad news. According to him and his workers, there were "multiple" things wrong with the car, and the amount of work that needed to be done was going to cost about $2,000 total. He asked me if I wanted them to fix everything now, and I told him that I wanted to talk with my dad and get a second opinion. The employee helping me continued to try to entice me into getting the work done now by saying, "I'm not sure if you have children, but this really puts them in danger..." A week or two later I brought my car to our mechanic about 45 minutes away who looked at the car and said that there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I gave him the list of things that Rowe had said needed fixing, but he confirmed that the car was in tip top shape.In conclusion, I'm not saying to stay away from Rowe Ford in Westbrook completely, but be aware they may try to take advantage!

Rowe Hyundai was a great dealership. All staff was friendly and helpful. I have not purchased a new vehicle in 10 years and I felt a bit apprehensive. Time and time again you here stories from people who have had terrible experiences with car dealerships and pushy salesmen. This was not the case at all with Rowe Hyundai. My journey for a new car started off online, where I did hours of research on what type of vehicle I wanted and what dealership I wanted to go through. The first dealership that stood out in my search was Rowe because of all the great reviews -Especially for Leif. So, I made an appointment to go in and talk with Leif and the first thing he said to me was "I just want to let you know I'm not like other salesmen, I'm not going to push you into a sale. I'm here for you so why don't you tell me what you'd like and I'll help you get there." He stood to what he said that first day and over the next week went so above and beyond his job description it amazed me. An example of this is he would keep me updated and in the loop constantly when I was applying for financing. I mean he was emailing me and calling me on his own personal time and after business hours just to make sure I was comfortable and up to date. Another example is when I did purchase my New Hyundai Veloster my Fiance was with me, he looked at her and said "hey could I borrow the keys to your car" shes like Okay, then he went and ran her car through the car wash just because that's the type of person he is. Most people will tell you that buying a car is an extremely stressful process. I'm here to tell you that I had more fun talking with Leif and the other guys and gals at Rowe than a person should spending so much money. My point is that they are good people, selling a good product, who are willing to bend over backwards to make sure that the deal is RIGHT for YOU. Stephen and I just wanted to let you know how happy we are with our brand new Ford -F150 4x4 Truck we purchased from Rowe Ford on October 26th. It rides like a dream, and has many neat features we like. We are so happy we elected to have it rust-proofed undercoated, as well as extra protection for the exterior paint, and we are pleased with the job that was done with the bedliner.We also wanted you to know that we think very highly of the young man named Devin Forbush who sold us our truck. Devin made the process of purchasing a vehicle easy for us, but he went above and beyond the call of duty on two occasions. One was last Friday, November 6th. The undercoating and bedliner jobs were completed and the truck was ready to be picked up. My husband and I had lots going on that day, with medical appointments and a wake to attend. Devin jumped right in and said he would drive the new Ford to our home in Scarborough, and take the rental vehicle back to Rowe Ford. This helped us out tremendously, and his actions were very much appreciated.The second incident ocurred last Wednesday, November 11th. We had some side bars installed by Yankee Custom. I normally have Wednesdays off, but had to work that day because of the holiday. I followed my husband and we delivered the truck to Yankee Custom, and Steve rode back with me before I went to work, and I would not be out of work before Yankee Custom closed. Devin was aware of the situation, so out of the goodness of his heart, he volunteered to come pick up Steve in Scarborough and drive him to Yankee Custom when the work was completed! Who does that sort of thing in this day and age? We are so impressed with this young man's ambition, enthusiasm, honesty, kindness, compassion, and his willingness to help us out in any way. Two weeks ago today, I bought a cool and sharp looking 2014 Hyundai Sonata GLS. I had some trepidation about buying from a dealer based on previous experience. Thankfully, Bill Lovejoy, newly transferred from Rowe Auburn, put any concerns to rest. Since the beginning, he has been an advocate for just the right vehicle that would best fit me and the budget. He even went so far as to drive to Auburn and bring me the car he thought would be 'the one'. Bill is straightforward, honest, funny and extremely patient. I really appreciated these qualities during my search and numerous test drives with and without my spouse.Together with Mike Jeffers, the Hyundai manager and Jim Robertson, the finance manager, Bill explained the ins and outs of potential financing, extended warranties, future services and navigated the many forms to be signed. He wanted to be sure that I was comfortable with my purchase, the dealership and all the associates that I would meet during future service. I received the grand tour and met everyone while enjoying a cup of coffee. The dealership was sparkling and the staff were dressed impeccably showing that they took pride in their jobs and themselves. Since my purchase, I received a couple follow-up calls from Bill just checking in to see how much I love my new used car. I wish everyone could have as great a car buying experience. My car is absolutely amazing. I've only driven it now for three days and I love it!!! The experience at the dealership, and the above-and-beyond customer service that Jason Burns has given me was by far the best I have ever received. I have purchased a few cars in my lifetime, and unfortunately, all car dealerships have seemed pretty much the same to me. It's a long, boring process and always a feeling of dread, constantly on the lookout for who's going to screw you, and how. Jason is the most down-to-earth car salesman I have met, and I truly did feel like family. That is not a cliche. I felt like I've known him my whole life. It's the level of trust he builds just by being him. Truly genuine. Also, this is the most expedient buying process ever. Usually it drags on for hours and hours, and sometimes even days. I was in and out in 3 hours, and the majority of the time was spent waiting for the car to be detailed. I was very impressed, and will lease my next car through Rowe and Jason. And the next one. And the next one.

I was looking for a new car online and had clicked on a few models to see what the price quote would be. Next thing I knew I was getting calls and emails from several dealerships. Eventually I connected with Jason, and that was all it took. He immediately made me feel like he cared about more than just selling a car. I felt that he really wanted me to feel comfortable with our negotiations, that I was happy with the vehicle we were discussing, and that I could ask him anything. I went into Rowe maintenance for steering wheel problem and found out I had more problems resulting in a substantial amount of dollars. This was a surprise/shock as I still was very satisfied with my Hyundai 2003 113,000 miles.. Found out it was in my best interest to purchase a new 2014 Sonata with the wonderful warranty. All employees mentioned educated me in all phrases of this sale which resulted in a comfort level in closing the sale. This was my 2nd car purchase at Rowe and I have all my previous 11 years of service done at Rowe for my 2003 Sonata.So I will continue to have my maintenance with my service manager Sharon Crossman. As a first-time new car buyer I was unsure what to expect going into the process. I went to 6 or 7 dealerships before Rowe Westbrook. I was greeted right away when I got to the dealership, but at no point did I feel any pressure to buy. I test drove my vehicle, and then asked to go inside and discuss numbers. After we figured out approximately how much my monthly payments would be, I said that I wanted to go home and review my finances to see if I would be able to make it work. When I said this line at other dealerships, they wouldn't let me leave. They insisted on me rushing into a deal right then and there and it essentially pushed me away. Scott listened to my concerns and allowed me to walk out the door with no pressure to buy. Because of this, I developed a trust with him and knew that he was going to help me in any way possible. I live 2 hours from the dealership. I called him on New Years Day and said that I was interested in the car if the numbers worked out with my credit. I live 2 hours away so I wanted to make sure that it would work before I drove down. He came in on his day off and got everything set up for me while I was on my drive down. When I got there he showed me the price of the vehicle that we had agreed on and how much it would be with my credit score per month. There were no hidden fees. It was a very simple, stress-free process. Thanks to Scott and Rowe Westbrook for a wonderful experience!

When I had to get my oil changed suddenly in preparation for a long trip I wasn't expecting and my usual place couldn't squeeze me in, my husband took my car into the service department at Rowe . However, while there, Rowe told him 3 of my tires needed immediate replacement. I was shocked because my usual repairman had put new tires put on my car only months before. So I opted not to have the tire work done at Rowe and instead took the car to a third repair shop for an unbiased opinion. This third place confirmed my suspicions -- my tires were fine. Matter of fact, the shop told me I had MORE than a 50% life left in all my tires. So I would caution anyone who goes to Rowe to get a second opinion on anything you didn't order -- they might try to sell you something you don't need like they tried to do with my husband.

I just bought my third vehicle from Rowe so that should speak for itself. Going across the spectrum from no credit to great credit, they work hard to get you the best possible deal. I have always worked with Jim Mathews and will again if I buy another car in the future. He actually listens to what I want/need for my situation and works as hard as he can to get it, without any pushiness or pressure. I was able to check off all the boxes except trade in value (which I will admit may have had something to do with my run in with the curb and mailbox), but the price on the car seemed so good that even with that factored in I think I got an awesome deal. This was my second time working with Ray Lerette from finance and he is fantastic. Coming from a person who is always nervous about financing, its nice to have someone who is reassuring and friendly to work with and goes the extra mile to get you the best rate possible. Go here and work with these guys....you won't be sorry.

My salesman Patrick Moore did a great job. He did not pressure me, He was patient and showed me the cars I asked to see. I told him that I would be back in two days to purchase the car. when I cam back unexpectedly the next day (on his day off), he drove down to the dealership within 15 minutes and was there to take care of my transaction. What I did not like were the several verbal comments other sales people made to him regarding his attire right in front of me. He was dressed in a nice collared shirt and jeans. To me, it was way more important that he get down to the dealership quickly rather than be in a three piece suit. Making these comments in front of the customer to another sales agent is totally irresponsible and makes the customer feel uneasy. I applaud the dedication Patrick showed my dropping everything from his busy day to make the sale and get the job done. This should be applauded by the dealership not frowned upon. As a customer, he went above and beyond and that is all I ask for. I think if the sales team there was a little more team oriented, that would go a long way to making the atmosphere more welcoming. You can definitely feel the tension with some sales associates towards others. Other than that, it was a good experience.

... Brian REALLY listened from our first conversation to our last. We knew exactly what we wanted and we were clear about that. He never once pushed us or tried to talk us out of what we came to Rowe to do. In the past, this was not our experience at this dealership. Brian worked with us which made this difficult transition for us a little easier. We rated the price "good" only because we think our F-150 was worth more than what we were offered. This should not reflect solely on Brian. We are aware of the fact that he could only do so much for us when it came down to the bottom line.

I decided to purchase a car through the NEA teacher auto buying program and found a great price on a new Fiesta. I printed out the coupons and called ahead. There was absolutely no hassle. They honored the low price, didn't try to encourage me to buy a fancier, more expensive model but did explain the features available in the base model I was interested in. The sales representatives were friendly and organized information with my insurance company during the day so I could be ready to drive it home when it arrived. My sales representative obviously enjoyed her job and spent time getting to know me as a person, not just a new car buyer. Plus they all love dogs and that's got to tell you something right there.

I was looking for a late-model car to replace my 03 Pontiac Grand Am, which had been struck and destroyed while parked ifo my house. Rowe was the 2nd dealership I had visited, and it was becoming clear I couldn't buy a car I wanted at a monthly payment I could afford. Cyndy Dambrie was the salesperson - well, maybe sales advisor is a better description ;) She was knowledgeable and low-key throughout. When I told her my goal for a monthly payment, she told me about a lease offer from Hyundai on a 2014 Sonata. The price was right and I really liked the Sonata when I test drove it. Cyndy went along and we chit-chatted a bit; as we drove I said "Cyndy, you're not doing anything..." and she smiled. I got a nice new car at an affordable price, and the whole experience was pleasant.

Had a blast! Brian was one xxxx of a salesman. He listened an gave me exactly what I wanted. No hassling, back n forth just reasoned with me and did what he had to do to get me into my mustang. Enjoyable, unforgettable, can't wait to go buy another vehicle.. Now Chris was great, he was busy but never forgot about me. This is the 4th vehicle we have purchased from Rowe, 1 in Auburn and now 3 in Westbrook. We keep coming back because of the associates and the service, both sales and repair. We have found the sales people friendly and helpful but allowing us to look around if we wanted to. On this sales purchase we worked with Cyndy Dambrie. My husband first spoke to her while waiting for a repair estimate one of our cars. He was pleased at that time with her information. After we decided that now was the time to look into a different vehicle we looked at several sources but always came back to checking out Rowe. We contacted Cyndy and set up an appointment with her. The service and information she gave us for leasing and purchasing a car was extremely helpful. When we decided to lease, something new for us, she went through everthing in a way we could understand it and feel comfortable with leasing. As business people we appreciated the way she knows the product (car) and how to sell it. She even picked up on the fact that it was my birthday and gave me some chocolate. It was nice that she noticed even this small detail. We can see why she is a top salesperson and would definitely work with Cyndy again.

I was extremely pleased with the service I received at Rowe. I just wanted to let you know that this was the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. We scheduled a test drive on a Ford Mustang. When we arrived and the salesman went to get the key, he came back saying the car had been sold. We were disappointed that no one let us know before we arrived. He then let us know that he did have another better Mustang in the same price range. I thought it was going to be one of those,"try to get me to buy a higher priced vehicle" deals. I was very wrong. The Mustang he told us about had just arrived. He showed it to us and we were interested. We were not able to take it on the road for a test drive because it hadn't gone through the shop at all but he let us drive it around the parking lot. I was pleased that we could drive it without needing a sales person in the car with us. We went inside and talked about the car and started some paperwork. Before we finished, Dave let us know that we could now take it on the road for a test drive. They had put it through a quick safety check to make sure it was safe to take for a test drive right then while we were there. I was impressed. There was no pressure to buy..just patience and respect. There were several financing applications ahead of us so he said we could go home and come back Saturday to look at the financing and take the car home if we still wanted it. Our salesman would be off on Friday but they would hold the car for us to come on Saturday. Again, great customer service. Everyone in the dealership was friendly and helpful. We got the financing that we wanted. We were able to drive away with our car Saturday morning. We ordered the protective coating and it applied as we completed paperwork. Because the car that we had planned to test drive was not in, we asked if Rowe Ford would be willing to put a remote starter in for us as a good gesture. There was not hesitation from the dealership and we have a mobile install for our new remote starter. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. I look forward to continuing to do business with the dealership.

A friend knew I was truck shopping and suggested I talk to Brian at Rowe Ford in Westbrook. The vehicle I had originally been interested in sold before I could look at it. I was looking for a new vehicle from last years stock that was in a specific price range and Rowe found one located a couple hours away. After helping me get credit approval, working with me on my trade-in and finding several rebates my new truck was on its way down. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. I feel I got a very fair price with some accessories tossed in at a reduced cost. Rowe takes care of customers after the sale with free car washes for life and what seems to be a good service department. I would recommend anyone in the Southern Maine area look at Rowe before buying a new or used vehicle.

My wife and I were referred to Rowe Ford by my brother in law, Richard O'brien after a less than pleasant experience at a competing Ford dealership in Saco, Maine. The Saco dealer let us sit in their showroom (after telling us they were"just finishing up with a customer") for an hour and a half without even touching base with us. We left.Dick suggested we call Rowe, which I did, and they told me to come right in and see Danielle, and she would take care of us.We weren't even all the way in the door yet and Danielle greeted us, with Andrea right by her side.Andrea actually made what started out as a bad day fun for us. I had a great experience from start to finish and my sales rep Jaime Puleo had a vast knowledge of the vehicle which was very impressive right down to the smallest of details. We made him work through a lot of inventory because we had a specific price and specific options we needed. He found us our dream truck in Vermont and turned the deal around in less than 3 days time start to finish. Additionally, throughout the process, he was diligent in making sure we had a thorough understanding of all the options on the vehicle, esp all of the newer technology options. He also gave us tips/shortcuts on using the technology features. I guess to sum it up, Jaime Puleo defines customer service and in today's world that is very tough to find. Rowe Ford should def. keep this young gem around for sure!

I visited Rowe Ford as first time new car buyer. I was greeted with a friendly helpful attitude from the moment I walked in, till the moment I left the Bldg. I first met with the sales Manager Danielle, who talked to me about what I needed for a car and the type of financing I was interested in. I stressed my nervousness of buying a new car and she assured me things would go accordingly and there would be no need to worry. My salesman Brian was very helpful in all aspects of the sale: He showed me a few varieties of cars and encouraged me to test drive. I fell in love with the white Ford Focus and decided this was the car for me. Brian was very supportive while I agonized over the credit report to come back. He also encouraged me to visit Rowe Ford for all the perks that come with purchasing a new car. He also told me to contact him with any question or concerns about the purchase. Although, it made for a long day purchasing a new car, everyone did their best to keep me happy while the paper work, credit check, etc., was being done. Overall, would rate the experience a 10!! I had decided to lease a Ford and had heard mixed feedback about Rowe. It has strong reviews on this website, but my friend had a poor expierence with his salesman. So my expectations were tempered.The dealership was recently remodeled and is very nice. It's comparable to what you would find at a BMW or Audi dealership. Immediately upon entering I was greeted by Brian. Within ten minutes we were taking a test drive. The next week consisted of more test drives, and fair talk about prices. My trade in value was especially fair. Brian was not pushy and was very accessible. I would highly recommend him if you're shopping for Fords/Lincolns. It's been over a week now and I'm absolutely loving my 2014 loaded Ford Focus. I have nothing but positive feedback about the dealership and Brian. I suppose the real test will be when something goes wrong, but so far so good!

I bought a 2006 Jeep Liberty from Rowe Westbrook, after a month of waiting for the mess with the title to be straightened out. I was promised new wiper blades when I picked up the vehicle, but that did not happen. The tires have a slow leak. I just found out from my mechanic that the Jeep has very bad wheel bearings in the front, and the work is going to cost me over $400 for parts and labor. The amount of wear and tear on the wheel bearings show that they were already poor at the time I bought the Jeep. They should not have put an inspection sticker on it, the condition of the wheel bearings is so bad. I have also had to have the fuel pump and the water pump replaced; fortunately they were covered by the extended warranty I purchased from my bank when I took out the loan to buy the Jeep. Unfortunately, due to the high mileage at the time of the sale, the wheel bearings will not be covered. Prior to this I owned a 2002 Jeep Liberty and had it for 4.5 years without any of these issues. What a ripoff! I will not buy another vehicle from Rowe and I am filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Maine Attorney General's Office, and hiring a lawyer. I will never do business this dealer again.

I came home on Wed. 9/25 and the car we looked at was in my yard. The saleswoman Cyndy let my husband take the car home till I got there. We went back to the dealership and met with Cyndy. She was great! She did not pressure us into getting the car,but listened to what we wanted. We got a great trade-in, rebate, we put money down and we also purchased several package deals.This has been the first dealership that we have been to in a long time that we felt that everyone listened to what we wanted! I had a terrific experience. Andrea was extremely helpful and informative but not pushy. The service was exemplary and would recommend Rowe to anyone. Just like to take this time to thank Jim Mathews giving us different options. We were working with Rowe and another area dealer. Jim got our business because he came back at us with options. Here is what Jim was up against. He had a couple that had a dollar figure they did not want to go over and a very good car that we had already paid off. The only way we would purchase a vehicle would be because it had the options we wanted or could live with and at a price we were willing to accept. Not an easy job for a salesman. jim kept giving us options we could think about. In the end we purchased a Hyundai Santa Fe and, I believe, at a very good price. Thanks Jim. Cindy was great to work with. Though she wanted to close the sale and made efforts to do so she was understanding enough to work within my timeframe. I visited and got quotes from several other Hyundai dealers in the area but made the decision to purchase from Rowe as they were the most willing to work within my budget. After much research on the internet, we kept coming back to the Website of Rowe Ford. We also visited another dealership and felt very unhappy with the sales person. Again we came back to Rowe Ford on the internet so we felt we should check it out. Our experience has been the best ever in choosing a used car. We are in our "50's" therefore, we are not novice to purchasing a car. Gerry was pleasant, patience, and very calming in speaking with us. Never have we been this comfortable looking for a car. The rest of the sales and finance staff were equally as pleasant. Would be go back to Rowe Ford in the future (if and when needed)? Absolutely!

I visited the Westbrook lot on Wednesday, June, 05th, 2013 at 03:45pm to look at a brand new 2013 Ford Fusion. When I arrived the lot was a mess, I had to drive around for at least 5 minutes to find a parking spot. After I finally found a parking spot, I got out of my vehicle which was parked right next to the sales office (trailer) and proceeded to walk towards the white, gray, green and black fusions. I was hoping a salesperson would come out within 2 or 3 minutes to greet me, however they did not. After about 10 minutes of still walking around those 4 cars a salesperson still did not come out and say hello or to see if they could help me. I thought to myself.... "maybe they are busy with other customers".... so I continued to look at the fusions hoping someone would eventually come out and help me. After 12 minutes I finally saw a salesperson who made eye contact with me but proceeded to walk right past me without even saying hello or even acknowledging my presence. I was very frustrated at this point, so I continued to look at the black 2013 Ford Fusion hoping that someone in the showroom would come out and help me or even attempt to say hello, however no one did. Finally about 20 minutes went by and I decided that no one obviously wanted my business so I started to walk back to my car to leave this horrible dealership and move onto the next one. As I was walking back to my car I noticed that a salesperson was in the window watching me the entire time! I highly recommend anyone and everyone who is looking or is in the market for a new vehicle to not ever visit Rowe Ford located in Westbrook, Maine!! These salespeople obviously are not here for the customers and apparently have not been trained in customer service. I have NEVER had an experience like this one and I will never go to this dealership again. It really is a shame tho, because I was all ready to buy that brand new fusion with my exceptional credit and a HUGE downpayment! They lost out on a very high value customer. DO NOT GO TO THEM!!!!

I had a 2.5 hour drive to get to this dealership, and I must say it was worth every minute. I drove up with a particular car in mind and they happened to have it and Cyndy was Superb! The experience went super smooth, I had a trade and it took some serious bartering to get my exact value to where I was happy, but between the finance department and the Sales staff I felt like I was always in great hands. The car had a carfax and all the info was super easy to find, and every part was explained quiet well. The end result was just what I wanted and it was handled in a FRIENDLY and comfortable atmosphere. it hard to replace the feeling you get working with a person who is understanding and real. This dealership will always be top notch in my book! Thanks to everyone and I hope they stick around!!! thanks for everything, I love my new car!

Fantastic, Jason greeted me & asked me what I was interested in, asked me immediately if I wanted to test drive the car, which I did. We talked price, told him I would not buy until I drove it at night. I am older & I wanted really good lights, he was going home but offered to stay & I told him no I could test drive with someone else. I kept teasing him that he was a typical salesman, extremely out going, just great. I am here to tell you Hyundai was on my list but at the bottom, Toyota, Honda,Subaru & Nissan, but I went down to Saco where all the car dealers are, the toyota salesman walked me around the building and way in back (now half way there I asked him how much further because I had a soft cast on my foot & he said not far HA!) so I liked the car & asked him for keys to sit in it & hopefully test drive it & he did NOT have them & did NOT offer to go get them & because I had told him what I was willing to spend ( which it was in my price range) but he didn't think I could get them to go down some & told me to go on line & I would get a better price & he gave me the name of a salesman at Subaru & I went there & he told me they had nothing in my price range I was there less than 5 min. After I left Jason in the afternoon I went & test drove Nissan's, I had learned my lesson from Saco & just told him the 2 I wanted to test drive & drove them & then asked what the best deal I could get was, I was not happy with it asked them if they could do better, they said no so I informed them that I was buy the Accent, when they asked why I told them not much different in price & Accent had a better warranty & was a 2013 & Left! Went back to Rowe test drove in the dark, great headlights. Of all the salesmen I talked to Jason was the only one who seemed to take me seriously, He is extremely outgoing, sat me in the car immediately showed me everything & off we drove & I went back the next day & bought it & Rowe can thank Jason for that!!

I needed a larger vehicle because of recent changes in my life and rising repair cost of my vehicle so I wanted to trade in my car. Because of my financial situation I didn't think I could afford a quality used car. So I found a vehicle at a dealer on Craigslist out of State that I thought was in my price range and convinced myself that this was my only option and I traded my car for a SUV that would suit my needs. Very soon I found out I had truly made a bad purchase decision but I had no option to undo my mistake and I had the biggest case of buyer's remorse.Just prior to my terrible purchase I had gone online on to the Rowe Ford website as my co-workers had mentioned how great they were treated and the great deal they accuired. I filled out a credit application and Ken Sweet contacted me and discussed my options. He provided me some options but I could not bring myself to the idea anyone could help me in my financial situation without coming out with a huge car payment on a very used vehicle so I declined his assistance and went onto make my awful decision to go out of state.I was so depressed! So here I was driving home from my first day back at work with my out of state purchase that I was truly embrassed to show up at work driving and my phone rings. It is Ken! He called back, not knowing of my recent purchase, to follow up with another offer on a vehicle that he had that he felt would meet my needs. I explained to him of my poor judgement with my recent purchase. I now have the security of driving many care free miles with a payment that I can easily afford. It was like Ken was my guardian angel when he reached out and called me because I swear I thought my life was stuck with my prior bad experience. He told me he would make things right for me and most importantly my wife who was not excited about my bad purchase. This was a great experience. When I arrived at Rowe Westbrook I was casually great by Cyndy Dambrie. I was very pleased that I was not over run by 4 or 5 sales people. I have had that happen at other dealerships. Fundy worked very hard to help me get into the beautiful toyota. I also had the pleasure of working with Chris Blanchard. He also worked very hard to get me approved for the toyota. I was approved. Once approved the car was taking to the service department. They cleaned the car and put a new sticker on it. The price of the car I wanted had been dropped down in price by 2,000.00. The price was perfect! I will he recommending Rowe to all my friends. They are all very kind and made you feel welcome!! I needed a newer car because the 2004 I had was starting to be too expensive to repair. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to afford a brand new one. I have purchased 8 new vehicles over the years and this was by far the simplest and most pleasant of all purchases. I filled out an online request and was contacted by Kevin. We made an appt for a test drive, it was a cold, snowy night. He had the vehicle warmed up and ready to go when I got there. He LISTENED to what I was looking for and the financial guidelines I had to work with. In turn, he told me what my options were within those guidelines, plain and simple. He even stayed late to go over everything with me and have my trade in valued. The next day, I talked to Chris, emailed him the requested documentation he was looking for and he took care getting me the financing information. I went back to test drive the vehicle in daylight, again the vehicle was ready to go when I got there. Kevin took the time to answer my questions and go over my options again. When I finally decided to purchase the vehicle, the one I looked at had been sold. Kevin got me the exact thing from another dealer and had it ready for the date I requested. When I went to pickit up, it was ready to go, Kevin went over and explained everything about the vehicle. Chris had the paperwork ready, went over everything with me and got me on my way. No pressure, no hassles. Kevin has called and emailed to follow up and see if I had any questions or concerns. These guys know how to listen and deliver exactly what they promise.

I had put off the daunting task of buying a new car because I have had less than pleasant experiences before with high pressure, say- anything-necessary to seal the deal sales approaches. Rowe was the first place that I went and I told the sales staff right up front that I would not be buying a vehicle that day, but I was starting to comparison shop so I would appreciate their bottom line deal. At that point I thought they they would be perfunctory in their dealings with me, and although disappointed, they did spend time sufficient time with me, going so far as to agree to find me a certain color car at the same advertised price. This was something they didn't have to do. I took their numbers to other dealerships only to find that everything that the the sales personnel at Rowe had told me was the truth and their deal was in fact the best around. Much relieved and buoyed by their truthfulness, I returned to the dealership to purchase my car. My sales rep. took over from there, making the process effortless on my part. He found the car I wanted in NH, arranged delivery, and had it sparkling clean for when I arrived to complete the transaction. The necessary reams of paperwork were completed efficiently, yet each one was explained thoroughly. Afterward, my salesman sat in the car with me and patiently explained each and every feature on my new car. Believe me when I tell you, there was a great deal to explain. He did not stint on his time with me and wanted very much for me to have a working knowledge of the car's features before I left the dealership. He assured me that if I had any questions at any time with any of the more advanced features that I could drop into the dealership and he would set them up for me. His customer service alone would be enough to bring me back to buy another car and for me to recommend him to all of my friends. By the way, I love my new Focus.

The initial sale went well. Then they set up a bed liner and cover install. When I called that company to finalize (I thought) the appointment, they din't know what I was talking about. A few weeks later, I got an e-mail from Jaime Puleo asking me to fill out this rating. I explained that I would not fill it out as my occupation makes that a problem. She/He ignored that and asked two more times. This time, I can fill it out because I am not endorsing them.

Ray was great at selling the product of extended service. Kevin was almost too passive and really didn't sell us the car, he was more of a middle man we had to go through to obtain the car, and honestly, wasn't as forward in his communication and really wasted our time on two occasions that was completely unneccessary if he had just been forthcoming with information all along.Peter really sold the car/vehicle, knew the engine, mechanics of the car, and was pivotal in selling the vehicle to us. Thanks Peter.Service thus far has been friendly and accomodating. I can't say enough about David Auspland who has been professional and accomodating thus far.

I started my search for a new f150 online contacting different dealerships in my area. The next day i got calls from these dealerships with price and payment options. This made the decision on what dealership to choose easy for me. Was shopping the web for a used car and emailed Rowe re a Hyundai on their lot. William contacted me and over about a weeks time, he had suggested several cars that might meet my criteria. I finally settled on a Santa Fe and made an offer that was accepted. My wife and I visited the dealership and met William for the first time. He was very cordial and we felt comfortable throughout the purchase. Definitely a different experience from some I have had in the past. No high pressure situations. My wife and I went to Rowe Ford simply to test drive a few models so that we could make a decision on whether or not to trade on something newer, Ken was very accommodating in letting us drive several vehicles, we decided to buy the 2010 ford fusion, Ken did not pressure us in the least , our experience at other dealers with pressure would cause us to wait or go else where to buy, he also was able to get the payments very close to what I wanted to spend. Even though the car fax on our vehicle disclosed an accident that we were unaware of, he was able to give us a more than fare trade in, We will look to Rowe ford in the future when buying a new car thanks to the service we received from Ken.

Cyndy was a pleasure to do business with and helped the processmove along smoothly. Cyndy was a delight to do business with. Onething I did notice (of course being 65 years old) that alongwith being a sales person Cindy must also do manual things. I noticed she was removing snow from cars. Very enjoyable sales experience on all levels! Wanted to test drive / purchase a Hyundai Elantra GT (base model). Very hard to find in Maine at the time. Salesman Will Valle showed us the only model on the lot, which had the sports package (and therefore put us out of our budget). Loved the car, and Will found a base model at a dealer to the south, to keep us within budget. But that vehicle was not an acceptible color, etc. for us. We said we would just wait until one came into Rowe, as we werent in a hurry to buy. He then (along with the manager and finance manager) worked with us over two days (allowed me some time to restructure our financial platform a bit) to make the sport model EXTREMELY affordable. They bent over backwards to close the deal and accommodate us, in the most professional and reasonable way. It was a very fair price, with minimal pressure, no games, no gimmicks, no typical annoying tactics one usually expects when purchasing a new vehicle. My wife and I HIGHLY recommend Rowe Hyundai in Westbrook (and salesperson Will Valle in particular) for a pleasant and respectful car purchasing experience. Further, we intend to purchase another Hyundai in the near future, and will not hesitate to return to this dealer for a repeat experience. Kudos to the team at Rowe Hyundai!

When I drove into Rowe Westbrook, which is minutes from my home, I had a feeling they'd have the Hyundai I was looking for. Originally having my heart set on a Tuscon, Jim Mathews also had me test drive the Santa Fe. Having a sales person so personable and easy to connect with helped make the process of buying my first car fun, easy, and completely non-stressful. With no pressure from the staff, only professional support and guidance, I was able to make my own decision of what vehicle to choose, which was the Santa Fe (with a sun roof installed for me!) The customer service and being deemed part of "The Rowe Family" is a reason I will choose to go back and why I will recommend Rowe to friends and family.

I had a horrible experience at Rowe Ford with Jaime. From the very start when he first called me, he didn't listen to me and was the absolute epitome of a fast-talking, wheeling & dealing car salesman. I made clear to him that I was not interested in the Ford Fiesta sedan, only the hatchback...but he continued to talk about the sedan. I have never shopped for a brand new car, this was my first experience and as soon as I walked in to meet with Jaime, he made me feel as though I was one inch tall and knew nothing about what I was doing, let alone about the car I wanted (I am only a woman after all). He kept showing me the sedan on the lot...emphasizing that the hatchback is more money. I actually did a little research before my visit and so I knew the hatchback is more money. But this is my first brand new car, and so I decided I would rather spend a little more money to get the car I want. When Jaime finally let us take a car for a test-drive...he brought the keys to the sedan...saying they drive the same. Maybe they do...but again, I was interested in the Fiesta hatchback - NOT the sedan. A few days later, I (very reluctantly after my first experience at Rowe Ford) made an appointment at Quirk Hyundai. I dreaded the appointment all day because of my experience with Jaime. But you know what? The guy there was terrific! He made me feel like a human being, asking me what I was looking for, what I'm planning on doing with my current vehicle, what the best plan is for me, etc. I never once felt that he was being rude or condescending or trying to push a sale on me. He actually agreed with me to sell my car privately so I can get more money (even though it means a delayed sale for him). And he even let me test-drive the hatchback! So...needless to say...I will be buying a new Hyundai Accent GS as soon as my vehicle sells. I wanted to make sure that you know how much of a turn-off my experience at Rowe Ford was and hope that you will all rise above the stereotypical fast-talking, inconsiderate car salesman...it is not what people want, not what they respect, and certainly not where they want to spend their hard-earned dollars. As a side note...my father was also with me and is planning on purchasing a Ford Escape in the Spring. His thoughts on our experience reflect mine and he will not by buying his Escape at Rowe Ford. All in all, you've lost the business of at least $40,000 and all because of a lack of kindness, patience, and treating your customers like human beings.

I was in the market for a new F-150 and had inquired at a couple of dealerships on prices and offers. I didn't receive much information I wanted . I am an employee of an X-Plan partnership so I went onto the sight to search . I sent requests to a few dealerships . Jamie Puleo from Rowe Ford Westbrook contacted me with great information . I went in to see him and he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in and had quoted me the lowest price I could get it for . My wife and I were interested in a 2013 Fusion Hybrid. We contacted and visited several Southen Maine dealerships and were told the cars were just not available.Peter Raymond at Rowe Ford was the only salesman ready, willing and able to locate us the exact vehicle we wanted and to arrange having it shipped to Maine in a very short time frame.Within two weeks of our inquiry we were driving off the lot in our new car.The whole process, sale/trade, etc. was painless and EVERYONE at Rowe could not have been nicer.While it is still too early to weigh in on the promised benefits of the 2013 Fusion Hybrid, it is one of the nicer finished and more comfortable vehicles we have ever owned.

My overall experience with Rowe Westbrook has always been amazing. My mother purchased her Hyundai Sonata there and I just purchased a new Elantra there. The length of time that we spent there was a little excessive but overall Will is a good sales person. atmosphere was nice. other staff were very kind. I also noticed on my paperwork that there was a $775.00 vehicle shipping charge. I was disappointed to see that I was charged for this. If I had noticed this I might have reconsidered my purchase....

The salespeople I dealt were as professional and friendly as they come. I have spent some years working in the sales/customer service industry and I saw this the moment I walked in. I had used the USAA car buying service to locate a dealer while I was visiting my sister in Maine. I live in Northern Virginia where everything costs more as it is a recession-proof area due to high incomes generated by the Federal Gov't. Ken Sweet worked to get the vehicle I would be happy with. Since I am not one of those Northern Virginia high income people , I had only so much $$ to work with. I discovered through the process ( just a few days) what I really wanted and Ken did not hesitate to see it through as I changed my mind about some ' must haves ' as well as stuck with other choices I could not live without. He was very patient and accommodating in my search for my first new car ! When he did locate a vehicle for me, since my time in Maine was short, we talked over the phone and gave me a price ( a bottom line number) . Though when I did come in to make the purchase, the price ( bottom line number) was not what we discussed on the previous phone call. There was a + $2,000 difference from the bottom line we discussed and I was to get a Ford incentive discount of $2,000. So somehow, even after explanation and trying to work the numbers and understanding there are all the additional fees associated, the car must have been more that he realized when we talked over the phone and I did pay more than I expected. Nonetheless,the two Rowe Ford employees did a great job of making my first car buying experience a very good one overall. Thanks for all your hard work guys !

Very, Very Friendly dealership. My experience was NOT one of feeling pressured into purchasing a vehicle, my kids were welcomed into the showroom and acknowledged. I revisited several times before I made my purchased and was not bothered with phone calls or emails. It was an enjoyable experience and they were very reasonable. Great experience working with Peter Raymond on the purchase of our new Fiesta. Peter definitely knew the vehicles we looked at, was personable and friendly, and generally made the experience something that I didn't dread (and I really dread buying automobiles). I choose Rowe Hyundai because when I was doing my research prior to making my buying decision, I was annoyed by multiple desperate emails and calls from the other dealerships telling me how badly they wanted my trade. (They really didn't since it was a high mileage car with a major insurance repair) William Valle from Rowe sent an email that answered my major questions and when I was ready to talk to him about my options, he helped me decide what would work the best for me. I drove over an hour past the nearest dealership so I could do business with Rowe because there was no hassle or idiotic sales ploys that their competitors are still fond of in this region.I love my new car and am going out of my way to recommend William and the management team at Rowe Hyundai.

Having never purchased a Ford product in 40 years of auto buying, I was persuaded by my wife to take a look at the new Ford designs. The features offered,styling,fuel economy ratings and the independence of Ford concerning government bailouts certainly opened my mind to the possibilities of purchasing.I did my homework by shopping around and reading as much as I could find about the new Fords and wasn't completely sold.My experience with auto dealerships in the past has tempered my acceptance of encounters with salespeople, usually they act like sharks circling in bloody water and I do my visits to dealerships on Sunday mornings when no one is around .That being said, my visits and subsequent purchase of a 2013 Ford Focus Titanium from Rowe Ford Westbrooke is a testament to Kevin Callnan.He was low key, friendly, no pressure quality sales professional which besides the the Focus itself is what convinced me to purchase a new car from him and Rowe. He worked with us and our schedules, answered any and all questions openly and frankly, and brought the vehicle ultimately chose from another dealership in a timely fashion.My trade-in was fairly valued and the process of purchasing was effortless and smooth.All in all he did a great job!Chris Blanchard made the financing great. The pile of paperwork went quickly and easily with no pressure to add-on any extra's that weren't truly required.He was quality professional as well.I was impressed enough with Kevin and Chris that should the ownership of the dealership been available I wouldn't have hesitated to speak directly to him abouthis people!

I found the truck I'd been looking for on-line at Rowe Westbrook. I called and spoke with Cyndy Dambrie. I told her a price range I had in mind and within 5 minutes she and the sales manager agreed to lower the price of the truck almost $2,000 to fit my payment needs. Once at the dealership, both Cyndy and Ray Lerette treated my family and I with kindness nd respect throughout the purchase. It usually only takes 10 or fewer words out of their mouth and I am instantly turned off and want to leave the dealership immediately. Jim was very helpful and knowledgable. Started working with Kristen over the phone about purchasing a used 2011 Chevrolet Impala and was impressed with her service and follow ups. Went in a couple nights later test drove the car and filled out the credit application. I was upfront and advised there are some issues due to a traffic accident that greatly reduceds our income for 3 years. Kristen was certain they could work with me and get a deal done. The came the sales manager Ray Lerette, he actually came over and asked what had happed as he could see I went from an excelent rating then 6 month later it started to decline. Itold him that my wife i were in a severe auto accident and ended up loosing close to 40% of our income for 3 years. He again said he would talk to the banks and explain our situation. Next morning I got a call from Kristn and he was able to talk to the creditaors and was actually able to get the loan approved. but was still trying to get the rate down. At this point i asked fo 2 new tires be put on the car so it has a match set. Again no issues, signed the contract(which was also quick and painless) In short if you have issues with credit or anything I beleive you should do your self a favor and stop to see the Rowe Used Car team. They made me feel importand and were the first and only place to ever ask "what happened?". That question met more than the price..which in fact was amazing in itself!

My wife and I were looking for an affordable, but comfortable vehicle. We drive to Maine in the Spring and back to Florida in the Fall. The gas mileage on the Hundai is great and the ride is very comfortable. Jim Joys was very accomodating and was very knowledgeable about the vehicle we bought. Although, I did have to stick to my guns with him to get him down to what I felt was a fair price to pay for the Edge. He did his job of trying to get the most for Rowe, but after showing him my research on the vehicle price, he did get approval for the deal at what I wanted to pay. Jaime even checked in your computer system and found that I could get and extra $100 off because we had purchsed a Hyundai Accent last year for my daughter. He even talked us into purchasing the Service Agreement which I hope will pay off for us. I will be keeping running tally as we go to see if we actually make out with the plan. I started my search for a new vehicle by searching online using cars.com which, after pinpointing my search criteria, eventually lead me to a vehicle at Rowe Ford. I had a Hyundai Genesis which I was looking to trade-in and since they were also a Hyundai dealer, I thought that it made perfect sense to reach out to them to discuss my options. I sent an email and recieved Ken Sweet's contact information back and reached out to preliminarily discuss the vehicle and my needs. After that first call, I continued to look around only to come back to that same vehicle several days later. I called Ken and arranged a time to stop in to test drive the vehicle. I was able to get in and meet with Ken immediately. We proceeded to look at a couple of vehicles, inlcuding the one I specifically came to discuss and after several test drives, I decided that I was ready to buy. We negotiated the price of my trade-in and moved through the paperwork without issue. There was a bit of a layover due a few folks ahead of me waiting for finance, but their waiting areas was comfortable with plenty of coffee, water and a TV. While I waited I walked a few minutes to grab a bite to eat and Ken got my vehicle ready and filled the gas tank. Once I made it through finance, we swapped out all of my belongings from one vehicle to the other and I left the lot with my new truck. Ken was very helpful, friendly and honest and I would recommend him to others looking for a new or used vehicle in the Portland area. A few days later I received a call that I needed to sign a couple of things that were incorrect and although I could not get away from home and work to make the trip, Rowe had a representative drive to me and sign the paperwork which took literally 1 minute - pretty cool! The whole experience was pleasant and I am fortunate to have made the choice I did and work with Rowe and will likely do it again!

My Husband and I had gone to several dealerships and really had not settled on what we wanted to buy, Jim walked us through exactly what we wanted and needed and walked us through the whole process. He was patient, kind and extremely supportive. From the moment we walked in, it just went bad. My son had earlier done the leg work on a vehicle and we arrived to purchase it but since he hadnt driven it i wanted him to take it out for a spin. Jamie, our salesperson was busy so i asked another sales person who was just sitting there if he could just let us take the car out. He rudly told me i had to wait for Jamie. So 15 mon later, Jamie comes rushing over, annoyed that we hadnt called first to before we came, and got the car for us to drive. Then we returned and wanted to "deal" and Jamie made it so uncomfortable even though we were valued customers. We decided to grab dinner while the paperwork was being completed to get a call that they were too busy to get it done that night even though i told them we were in a rush to get the car that day before my son left for colledge in two days. I was told the deal could be completed the next day. So i called the next day to talk to finance department to complete deal, to find that that person was out on personal reasons and the person "covering" knew nothing about my plans to purchase a car. To that i told him how frustrated i was and was going to look at another dealership to which he responded "ok". Not "let me get you a manager" or anything. So my wife went to Yankee Ford, had a wonderful experience, and drove off the lot in 2 hours with a car!!! Never gonna use you again Rowe!!

Just had my first car buying experience, buying a used Hyundai at Rowe. The car was a good deal, and the salesman Jason Burns was excellent to work with. He was very straightforward with me, easy to talk to and informative. In general, I feel like I got a great car at good value and only had to jump through the minimal number of hoops. The only complaints I have are towards the man who processed my credit application and finances, whose name I do not remember. He was very brusque, walking over to where I was sitting and launching into questions without so much as introducing himself first (which is why I don't remember his name). When I didn't understand something he asked (as a first-time car buyer a lot of references were confusing to me) he became visibly frustrated and simply repeated the question louder, only serving to intimidate me. He also seemed put-off by the fact that I had been pre-approved for a loan at my credit union, and asked several times whether I had really gotten such a low APR from them. When he was done, he simply got up and left without making it clear whether I was free to leave. The behavior of everyone else at the dealership was, by comparison, very courteous and thoughtful, and overall I do feel that it was a good place to buy a car.

Ken was really great to work with. I started my dealings with him over email. We had found a car that we were very interested in, so I completed the online credit application and Ken had emailed me within 3 minutes of my completing the app online! He was wonderful to work with and made this whole process easy. Since it was the summer and everyone has hetic schedules, when we were available to go in and test drive the Durango Ken was not there. We then worked with Scott Davis and he was great too. The day after we test drove it Ken was able to come up with a deal that we both could live with. That night I was able to go in and pick up the vehicle before we had all the paperwork figured out. The next day I went in and signed the paperwork - Chris Blanchard worked hard and was able to get us a loan that also met our needs. This whole experience has totally changed my feeling of working/dealing with car dealerships and Car Sales Managers. This was the best experience I have ever had working with a dealership (and I once bought a car from my uncle!).

I would have to say that dealing with Rowe of Westbrook was absolutely wonderful!! From the moment I first e-mailed Jason Burns about the car I was interested in buying to the moment that I actually bought my car was a very pleasurable experience. Jason was by far one of the best salesmen I've ever had to deal with! He was very friendly, personable and extremely knowledgable about the Hyundai I wanted to purchase. He explained in great detail every aspect of the car and made sure that all my questions were answered. He wasn't your typical pushy salesmen who just wanted to so to speak make a sale and be done with you. The price of the car that he first quoted me was a little higher than I wanted to spend but once I told him about another dealerships price he ended up matching them no problem. I can't say enough good things about Jason and Rowe of Westbrook is a much better dealership for having him work for them. Having salespeople like Jason give dealerships like Rowe a great reputation for themselves and they are lucky to have him!! Chris in finance was a joy to work with as well. I told him how I wanted to pay for my car and he was very helpful in helping me do so. I wasn't pressured into any financing that I couldn't or didn't want to do. Understanding that I have filed a complaint against another used car dealer concerning its 'warranty,' credit process and use of my image and name without release, I found Rowe refreshing. Cyndi stayed with me during the process. The finance person did not load the sale with protection services beyond the basic. The vehicle had no more than the usual issues (water leakage) for a 2011 Jeep than experienced with another, same year. For no frills experience, would recommend.

I have purchased more than 20 vehicles in the last 15 years. This was the first time I shopped a Rowe Dealership (Westbrook) and I don't know why I waited so long. It started with my introduction to Ken Sweet. Ken was by far the easiest and most knowledgable sales professional I have worked with. He was a great listener and was able to manage the transaction from start to finish. No BS, no management, no hassles. Just honesty, integrity and smiles. I traded in a vehicle and came with plenty of research of what my trade in vehicle was worth. We negotiated and came to an agreement in no time. It was friendly and simple. THANKS KEN!Although I typically finance my purchases through my own Credit Union Ken suggested I give the Rowe finance team a shot. He promised it would not take long and he was again right on. He introduced me to Chris who took over from there. In 45 minutes I was approved and signing the documents. Chris first got me approved through several large banks. I requested to keep the loan local and he recommended Town & Country Credit Union. He explained it might take a few additional minutes but he would see what he could do. In less than 15 minutes he had secured my approval and the interest rate was even lower than the banks. I had spoken with Jason Burns on several occassions the week prior to my purchase of a new vehicle. My needs were specific, a economical and fuel efficient car. I had done some online research regarding the best rated vehicles in the market, Hyundai showed to be an industry leader in fuel efficiency and dependability. Jason's product knowledge and straight fowardness convinced me to set an appointment with him to check out and test drive the Elantra. Once at the dealership, I was approached by a stunning brunette sales associate who was extremely friendly. Jason allowed me test drive a couple of different Elantras and Sonatas, all with different options and trim packages. I made the decision to purchase a 2012 Sonata GLS. I have to admit, buying a car is not on my list of favorite things, matter of fact, I down right despise it! My experience with Jason was outstanding. Ray in finance made me feel like we had been friends for years. He was professional and extremely dilligent in assisting me with back end products and information. I had the oppertunity to meet Kevin in service. Real nice guy! I couldn't be happier with dealership.

I was fortunate enough to get Ken Sweet as a Salesperson when I called Rowe and asked for someone in sales. I made it very clear I did not have three days to commit to sitting around in a dealership. He identified my needs early, dealt with a challenging trade-in and got me into a "Sweet" truck in short order. There was no "back and forth" with the Business Manager. I bought two cars from this dealer over a three-day period: a new 2012 Sonata for myself and a used 2010 Mercury Mariner for my twenty year-old son, who is a submariner on active duty in the U.S Navy. My initial contact was with Jason Burns, who sold me the Sonata; and I also worked with Jim Joys (Jason was on vacation), who sold my son the Mariner. The experience of working with both gentleman was nothing but positive in every way. The sales manager, Mike Jeffers, was a straight shooter, which made it very easy for me to decide to buy two cars in record time. Jason made such a strong first impression, I expected to hold off buying a car while he was off on a very short vacation. I shopped intensively for two days, talked to a lot of salespeople at a variety of dealers, and test drove many cars, and Rowe was my favorite place by far. Jim was really low-key. He trusted me to take the cars out by myself, he was honest about what the cars were worth, and he avoided all high-pressure sales tactics. By far, Rowe gave us the best deal for our purchased 2012 Escape. The experience was painless and quick. I want to thank Kevin for doing the pre-work with us over e-mail. It helped tremendously since we didn't have a lot of time to sit around at the dealership that we could do over e-mail. Chris was fantastic at showing us that the finance option we wanted, wasn't the best deal at the end of the term of the loan. I feel he had our interest of saving money as his priority. thank you.

I recently bought a new F250 at rowe ford. We had to build the truck and all the other dealerships I contacted pressed me for personal information and wanted me to purchase the truck right then and there. My answer was I haven't even looked at them yet. I went online instead and Rowe was the only dealership that just wanted my email address and had an online feature to build trucks; with the price- without my name address and phone number. I promptly received an email from Kevin Callnan, the internet sales manager, who provided me with his contact information. I felt very comfortable with this approach and appreciated the fact that this was a no pressure situation. It gave me the time to do research and think about what I wanted. I contacted Kevin and was very impressed with his no pressure approach. We met to discuss the truck, he gave me good advice regarding features on the truck but did not try to sell me options I didn't want. Kevin has alot of knowledge about the vehicle. He is always responsive to messages and calls. He helped me make it a 'better truck' for a fair price. I very much liked the fact that as we talked about price and value Kevin did not keep leaving the room to check with someone else to get the ok. The whole operation seems very professional.

We have been shopping for a new (1 year old program)car for about a year and when we found ourselves in Westbrook, 80 miles from home, we went to Rowe Westbrook on a Sunday just browsing and was impressed with the selection of "used" Sante Fes. During the last year we tried out just about every SUV out there and kept returning to the Hyundai, basically for it's quality and warranty package. The next week we emailed Rowe for an estimate on my trade. Kevin Callnan responded to my email with a fair quote. We exchanged several emails with Kevin and we were happy with the fact that at no time did Kevin place any pressure on us as that would have turned us away from Rowe. After we made a fairly firm decision of what and when we were buying, we emialed Kevin Callnan of our plans and we drove 80 miles back to Rowe Westbrook. Kevin spent an extensive amount of time showing us what was available and we test drove and decided to purchase a Hyundai Santa Fe. Kevin then invited us into the showroom to discuss financing and as soon as we walked into the showroom, my wife saw a brand new Hyundai Tucson on the showroom floor and she immediately fell in love with it and decided she didn't want the Santa Fe and firmly stated she wanted "that" car, being the Tucson. We then discussed trade, down-payment and financing with Chris Blanchard and the deal was happily sealed. And while we were talking with Chris, Kevin and a crew were busily doing all of the prep work on the new car somehow knowing we were going home with it before we even agreed. Thanks to Kevin Callnan and Chris Blanchard, our shopping experience was positive and stress free. I do not enjoy the experience of shopping for a new car, hagling over price, and attempts to sell me options I don't want and I must say, Kevin was one of the easiest sales person to deal with and Chris Blanchard did very well with securing a reasonable financial package.

Jason was extremely friendly as soon as I walked in. He was ready for our appointment and had the car cleaned and ready for me to test drive. When I expressed that I knew had to drive a standard, but was still a little new at it, he was perfectly understandable and let me test drive it on my own so that I would feel as comfortable as possible. He made sure all my questions and concerns regarding the car were addressed, and the one problem I had (with a window) he agreed to take care for me free of charge. He also informed me about the free car washes. I had to finance my car through my insurance agency and since getting the check took about 24 hours, Jason made sure that I felt confident that I could get the check and come back in without worrying the the car would be sold. He was very helpful and friendly throughout the whole experience!

this is the second used vehicle I have purchased from Rowe and the experience both times was as painless as possible with little to no pressure to buy.This purchase overseen (not sold) bu Jason Burns was almost fun as he was very personable, flexible and willing to step back and allow my wife and I to make our own "Informed" decisions.I have frequently walked away from sales people who "Sell" by scare tactics pressure and gimmicks.Jason just told us what we and he could do and never failed to communicate his decisions and the decisions of Mike and Ray as we walked together through the process of selection, finance and purchase.If there is truth to the old adage "It's the service after the sale that counts" than again they excel.In the enthusiasm of transferring items, we left an EX pass and cell phone in our 1999 Taurus (purchased from Rowe in 2006) the EZ pass was retrieved and held by Jason for my retrieval.The Cell phone which we did not realize was missing took a little longer but Jason and the crew looked up the location of the Taurus and willingly helped me to recover this as well.Now id the Chrysler PT Cruiser holds up and performs as well as the Taurus (can't be killed) I will indeed be back again and hope that the same people or at least their great attitudes are still there.

I checked out used cars at this dealership on line and, made an apointment to view the car. I recieved an e-mail the next morning inwich I responded by calling Ken Sweet, he said the car that I was interested in, was sold but, there wer others and listened to what I wanted. When I went there, I explained about my credit history first not to waste their time.Ken asked a few ? and we proceded in to fill out an app. It took a bit.Then Ray Larette aproached me and explained to me very what he was going to do. When Ray came back to me, he & Ken explained that it would be easyer to get a loan for a newer car with less mileage because of my credit history. so I agreed and Ken found a 2010 Hyundie Elantra and let take it out for test drive by myself. By the time i came back Ken came out of Ray's ofice to congadulate me that a loan was accepted. Ray explained the loan agrement very well before I signed anything and, aswered my questions very well. Ken Sweet was my internet sales person, as i had started my search for a newer pre powned car online. He promptly contacted me via email the very next day (id done my search after dealer hours the night before). From that point,everything was cut and dry. Very simple. Ken is very low key, laid back, non pressure. We emailed back and forth via our smart phones and by end of the day i called my credit union to set up financing. Ken wasn't pushy with reccomending i try one of thier financing opntions as most many dealers have done during my shoping in past. When i informed him i had my own financing source he said "Oh ok that's great. Give me thier fax number and i'll send your buyers order over." He also didn't push me for one of thier extended service contracts as many dealers have done in past. I bought that also through my credit union. Again, no pressure. We closed the deal in simple old school fashion. I asked for a couple of things to be addressed on the vehicle and he was happy to take me to the service department to make an appointment for the items to be addressed.Service advisor Sharon Crossman was great helping me with my appointment and gave me the shuttle drivers number to arrange for a ride when it was time to pick up my car.In closing, if all dealer ships treated thier customers like this,,,the world of buying a car wouldnt have the stigma it has had in past twenty years or so.ROWE FORD HUYNDIA IS AWESOME!!

Cyndy was out the door of the dealership to greet me beforeas soon as I got out of my car. I knew exactly what I was looking for and she made the process of purchasing this vehicle very easy for us. I was introduced to the sales manager and said I would return with my husband to make sure he was comfortable in the vehicle. This was one of the easiest dealerships I have worked with. I did my research knowing what I wanted to pay and what my trade-in was worth. No typical dealership haggling which was nice. I got a good deal and the new car I wanted. Ken Sweet was great and got me in and out as quickly as possible. I started out at Prime, offered me 2000 below book on my trade in and that was not what I wanted. The sales manager basically told me I would not get what I wanted so I would be better off to keep my current car and I walked out. I will not go back there again. I would recommend Rowe over Prime as Rowe treated me very well in the sale of my new Hyundai and I got a good price on my trade in.

Great group of people and definitely focused on customer service. My wife had taken a 2008 Ford Edge for a test ride a week ago and also tested a 2008 Traverse at Prime auto group. Jason called us as a follow up this past Saturday to see if we had any interest and I was actually going to Rowe to test drive the Edge(because my wife was concerned about leg room for me).He was ready and waiting for me when I arrived -drove the vehicle and approximately 2 hours later I was driving home my wifes new vehicle -it was that simple. Ray in the finance department was a huge help,he is very knowlegable and I felt he actually cared and worked hard to find the best deal on financing the Edge.I would recommend to anyone to check out Rowe for a vehicle purchase -I can tell you we did not recieve anywhere as good of treatment from Prime Hyndai.

Bought a new 2011 f-150 van, back door opens as you are driving . Shawn our saleperson who we have brought two out of three cars from Rowe is very nice, and helpful but The Service Manager told us when we took the van in to be check " You need to slam the door hard , A new Van and you have to slam it hard to keep it shut ? I don't think so ! Got one call which I missed from General Manager and that was it. I fell through the gap. Never ever a follow up from anyone from Rowe Ford. They want to sell you a Car/Van but if there is a problem Good Luck. And Thats too bad because we enjoyed doing business with them in the past. Maybe because we NEVER had a problem before. I really don't think we would drive the distance of 45 minutes one way again to buy a Car/Truck/ Van again from them .

I gave the dealership great reviews, because the salesman was very personable and was trustworthy. Steve told the stats on the car and gave me time to decide and test drive the vehicle. The overall experience was downgraded due to the fact the financing took longer than expected, but that aspect could be due to my credit issues.The Rowe team cleaned the car excellently. I went to 5 dealerships before Rowe and was not satisfied with the service. I loved that when I drove in first day looking for a car -Steve came over and talked to me, but then let me walk around with no hassle.

I don't have any experience with the dealership as a whole, but my experience purchasing my first brand new car was quick, easy and, most of all, painless due to the customer service of Mark Camp. I'm the kind of person who has the deal with the right person in order to buy a car. I'll happily walk right out if my first impression of the person of the sales person who greets me doesn't sit well. Lucky for me, I met Mark and he was wonderfully kind, very knowledgeable about the car and laid back. Instead of talking me into a different color or package that I knew I didn't want, he listened, didn't argue and found me the car I wanted elsewhere in just a matter of days. I've purchased a few cars in the last ten or fifteen years and have always left with a bad taste in my mouth because I've been condescended to, encouraged to buy something I didn't want, low balled or not been taken seriously. I'm happy to say that Mark did none of these things and believe it or not, the experience was even quite fun. Plus... I'm in love with this new Hyundai Accent. A former Honda person, I'm now a convert.

I had a very good experience with this Dealership and Jason Burns my sales consultant. My new car took 6 weeks to arrive from the factory which was quite a bit longer than anticipated by dealership or myself. This delay was on the manufacturing end so nothing could be done by Rowe. They did get me a rental car and ended up having to tow my trade in (as it was no longer registered/inspected) from my house because of the delay. So while the delay itself was less than pleasant the dealership did everything they could to keep me happy while I was waiting and this was greatly appreciated. I think they are very fair negotiators at Rowe and the only reason I gave a 4 over a 5 is that the previously mentioned factory delays were causing car shortages on the lots creating quite the circus in finding a actual vehicle to drive home. This vehicle shortage allowed for this dealership (along with all other Hyundai dealerships in Southern Maine) to charge a slight premium for their vehicles. That being said, Prime Hyundai would not negotiate at all while Rowe and Jason negotiated with me to a fair price. So while I would have liked to get a slightly better deal, this situation showed how one dealership can excel over another while both selling the same cars. I highly recommended Rowe Hyundai Westbrook and Jason Burns in particular if you are looking for a new/used Hyundai in the Southern Maine area.

Cynthia approached us the first night we were there in a friendly manner and made us feel comfortable right away. She asked us what we were looking for and we told her. She took us to a car that we had mentioned but then suggested a couple of other cars we might be interested in. We were with her the first night for at least 45 minutes and she was very helpful...not pushy at all. Cyndy called us the next day to see if we were going to come back which we did. What we really liked about Cyndy was her familiar way with us...we felt like old friends when we left after buying the car.My husband and I also were happy with the rest of the staff...the Sales Manager whose name escapes me at the moment and Ray, the "numbers" guy.All around...a very positive experience.

It had been difficult trying to find just the right Hyundai for us, because there were not many cars on any of the lots we had called. We called Rowe Dealership in the morning and was told that a car was dropped off the night before. That car was the exact color and model that we were searching for. We are about 1 1/2 hours away from the dealership, and Will put a sold sign on the car for us so we would have time to get down there and look at it. Will was pleasant, funny,and very personable. He explained all the necessary details about the car with enthusiam and kept us up to date on the progess of getting the car prepared and ready to go. Will took the time and effort to get to know more about both my husband and me and seemed to enjoy the interaction and time spent with us. Absolutely no pressure at any time.It took a little longer to get the financing completed, only because one of the employees was on vacation, and it was busy at the dealership. The lag in time worked out to our advantage in the long run because the financing and the car were ready at the same time. Chris was also friendly, personable and came in to introduce himself expaining the reason for the delay. While we were completing the paperwork, Chris took the time to get to know us a little, and we talked about experiences hiking and good places to hike in Maine and NH at the same time as getting all the paperwork completed. Again no pressure to buy extra options, and Chris explained all the paperwork thoroughly. Great experience and we would recommend this dealership to others. The Sonata we bought is awesome, and we averaged 42 miles per gallon on the ride up from Westbrook to Augusta.

I went to Rowe Hyundai to see if I could find a new Sonata Limited at a price I could afford. After showing me all three models, Jim Matthew and I chatted and happened upon a late model pre-owned Limited which met my needs and with some haggling, might fit my budget with room to spare. Jim and I sat and I began with a low offer. We didn't agree so I left with a promise to visit again when some new Limiteds came in. But the more I thought about it, I found the car I wanted. The next day I upped my offer to Jim's manager, Dave. Jim and Dave then met me half-way on the price. None of this was high pressure and at no time did I squirm in my chair as most dealers have made me do in the past. They also met my request for a sweetened price on my trade-in. The closing and paperwork went smoothly and within 24 hours I drove my beauty home. Good deal for me, a sale and my solid referral for Rowe Westbrook. Excellent service from both Kevin and Scott. Kevin was a refreshing change - no pressure, honest, consultative, patient and professional. None of this if I can get the deal with my manager, will you sign today spiel. He seemed genuinely interested in getting me into the right car - and that extended to shifting from a Ford to a Hyundai. Scott was the salesman that took over from Kevin. The sales person told us one price but had deducted rebates to get to that price which he did not tell us. We then waited 3 hours for their financing department to put the information through and he came back with a 5.5% financing option even though Ford was advertising 0% for well qualified buyers. (I qualified at another Ford dealership.) The things they were trying to push as a good point of sales were weird things like a high quality door and that the radio would remember my 6 favorite stations. He had me test drive a bunch of cars that were either out of my price range or silly cars that I would never consider buying. I would not recommend this dealership to any of my friends!

WeI think that Rowe is a good dealership from which to buy a car, but I'm not sure about the service part of the dealership. We've had problems with the car that we bought but they've taken it in and tried to fix it. We are still having problems with the alignment. I'm disappointed that there are still problems after taking it in twice. I'm not sure if it is the car that can't be fixed or if it's the mechanical. We bought another car from Rowe earlier and haven't had any problems with the alignment on that car. I'll give them another chance, then take it elsewhere to try to be fixed. If they fix it, we won't do business with Rowe repair service again.

Mark was great. I have been buying from Rowe for a number of years. I bought my first car from his Dad, Wally back in the 1980's.The only disappointed I had was Mark sent the car to be detailed before I took delivery and I have reasons to believe it was never completed. The dash still had dust and the inside windshield was never cleaned. There was also sand on the passenger seat.I had to take the car and revacuum. This has nothing to do with Mark or finance person I worked with, I cant remember his name right off the bat, however I have worked with him in the past in service and now over in the sales side. Both awesome people.

Eric was fabulous!! I went to several dealers of various makes and car models but the reason I came back to Rowe was because of the way I was treated by Eric. He is respectful and does not talk down to 'old ladies'. A true treasure to have working for you.Scott on the other hand seemed bent on challenging my perception (and ultimate correct assessment of the car pulling to the left) of what was wrong with the car. I realize I had limited time to get it 'fixed' and he was cooperative in accommodating my tight schedule but he could have been more 'customer friendly'. It should not be necessary to have to push for getting a brand new car operating in a straight line or to find out why the bluetooth system does not work properly. I was told he would call Hyundai and find out what could wrong and I had to call him back to learn what was discussed. Then told it was likely I had too many contacts on my phone which I do not...fewer than 50!!! .........Well, it still does not recognize people's names, city names or other requests and the dealer here says "it's a lousy system' and there is nothing that can be done. So ....I have to leave the country for my job in Europe for 4 months and then what????!!!! I paid for a useless option!!!!

Overall, my experience with Rowe was a good one. The people at the dealership were nice and helpful. I was disappointed that they were understaffed for financing the day I went... it took over 4 hours to get the paper work processed, unacceptable. Additionally, I really dislike when a salesperson suggests something along the lines of "anything less than all tens on the survey...we get a 0." Great service gets great reviews. Once again, overall experience was good-but not great!

I reached out to Ken Sweet after a very negative experience with Wiscasset Ford. In mid-January 2011 I ordered a 2011 Explorer from Wiscasset. I expected to get it in March. In March, after they promised me it would arrive within a couple of days, I sold my car privately. Then Wiscasset told me it had been shipped but then was recalled on route from the factory and would be 2 more weeks. The two weeks turned into four. During that time I learned that it had never left the factory. When it finally arrived in mid April, it was not the color I ordered. All this time I was without my own car. The salesman blamed his mistake on me. They then promised to order a new one on an expedited basis, but would not provide me with a loaner in the meantime, so I was to go 10 weeks more without a car to get to work! I contacted Ken Sweet at Rowe Westbrook who got me the vehicle I wanted within a few days. He could not have been more helpful or responsive. What a difference. Thanks Ken!

vehicle delivered with no owners manual. Was told, locked in safe and secretary was not in today. Next day was told that other dealer had been unable to find manual. Waited at two weeks for manual to arrive. after manual arrived, had to bring vehicle to service dept. to have door access code retrieved.Tech did an outstanding job of explaining access code/functions.Prior to delivery had asked for remote starter. Remote was installed by third party at a later date at my place of work. salesman unable to program phone to car.Stated that I should take phone to company and let them program the phone to car. I ended up doing it myself when got home.

I researched all the models in the Elantra size class on line and where to get the best deal. After months I was close to buying a Focus at Casco Bay Ford and when after showing my wife the car and driving back to dealer...they didnt give me the price they quoted me and I left. I tried Bill Dodge in Brunswick and it was the worst dealer and salesperson ever. They pressured to close deal that day or not at all. I then tried Rowe after getting quotes from 2 out of state dealers and Jim Mathews gave me similar deal and lots closer to home. He actually gave me the quote before I went to the dealer which was exactly what I was looking for. I told him I was waiting for some money to come in and he held the car after it arrived from Korea. It was the color and equipment we were looking for. I was treated fairly and without high pressure sales tactics I dealt with at other dealers. I had a bad experience at Frank Galos Chev in saco also before this dealer...and this dealer was the most arrogant and old school. I was happy to deal with Rowe and Jim. He did what he said he was going to do. This is the way to run a dealership....this dealer seems to be breaking away from the the old school pain in the neck salesperson and tactics. You are much better off dealing with the customer in this way as Rowe did. All I can say is keep it up Rowe you will will do better making the process more friendly and honest to the customer. So I ended up at Rowe after contactacing several dealers and using Consumer Reports Zagg dealership express pricing which gives you prices from three dealers and their guaranteed low price. One of mine was Bill Dodge Brunswick and 2 from out of state. Rowe wasnt one of their dealers however they met the price quotes from consumer reports Zagg program and was easy to deal with. Yes I would recommend Rowe as a dealer to deal with and Jim as a sales person.

Rowe Fords Customer service is very quick to help serve your needs.I had a problem with one of the tires and Rowe Ford replaced the tire ASAP, I still have a little probelm with the sunroof, but I haven't had a chance to tell them about it yet. I know the will fix it for me when I do.The salesman that helped me was Ken Sweet, he sold my husband his truck. When shopping for a new vehicle we did a lot of research. For over 2 years we've considered a Hyundai Santa Fe. When we made the decision we were going to PURCHASE a Santa Fe we then had to decide new or used and weigh those options. It came down to fuel consumption of used vs. new vehicles and the financing which translated into the monthly payment. The NEW vehicle's low interest rate and warranty won. We had friends who recently purchased a Santa Fe from Jim Matthews and advised us to travel 2 1/2 hours south instead of buying locally. I had emailed a few times with Kevin Callnan and spoken with Jim Matthews. They were both very helpful. I was able to convey what I wanted in a vehicle and the price I was able to pay. We dealt with Jim the day we made our trip and thanks to his patience with me and hard work everything worked out well. That day thanks to Rowe Westbrook and the hard work of these 2, we drove home that new with a new suv. I love it!

We truly appreciate the customer service and accommodation that was given to us in purchasing our first family car, especially because we traveled 6 hours to get there. The salesman and the financial adviser were very honest and friendly and seem to truly care about what was in our best interest, which was important because we went into looking for a family car with very high expectations for safety, comfort, size and affordability. Worked with Ken Sweet who was not pushy, supplied all data asked for and followed up on what he said he would do. Hub caps were missing and Ken found them. He also supplied a roof rack. All in all a good experience. We found the Explorer we were looking for and got everything we wanted. Price was a good as could be expected. We had done a lot homework before we visited Rowe so we were ready. I hope the service is as good should we have any problems.

I met with Scott to look into buying a used vehicle that would fit my family better than the vehicle that I was currently driving, but I wanted to stay with the Hyundai car brand. I was looking for a new dealership due to issues with my previous dealership and a family member. Scott was very accomodating and helped me find what I was looking for. After having numerous bad experiences at my local Hyundai dealership in Augusta, Rowe Westbrook was recommended to me by my boyfriend. Although Rowe is almost 90 minutes away from where I live, I decided to give them a try and I am so glad I did. The friendliness of the employees at the Quick Lane is exceptional. Not only are they friendly, but also the quality of the workmanship is outstanding. The technician and Kevin, the Quick Lane manager, both explained in layman's terms what was wrong with my SUV and how best to correct it. I left feeling valued as a customer and I look forward to purchasing my next car from Rowe Westbrook, a company capable of excellent work and worthy of my loyalty for years to come. In particular, Kevin is great to deal with and Roland, my technician, is personable, honest, and kind. They treat their customers the way they would treat their friends and family. Ken Sweet helped my wife and I get into a new (2010) Ford Escape XLT. We had looked at several different makes and models before deciding on this car. Kevin did a terrific job running through the tape, from personally picking up a radio antenna and installling it on the car, to arranging for an auto starter, to new off road tires, to swithcing over the E Z Pass, etc. He could not have been more accomodating. Have lived in Maine for 17 years and will travel an hour to have my cars and truck serviced by Rowe Westbrook. Rob Adams team has taken care of all my vehicles and my friends.I bought a 1995 Ford Explorer and had is serviced at Rowe till I sold it in 2006..now they service my 2005 Chevy Silverado work duty truck and my wife's Mitsubishi..I highy reccomend this company for sales and service for all Mainers.

I've been using Rowe Hyundai for over 8 years. Purchased 3 vehicles and have always had them serviced by Sharon's team. As lone as I've been going to Rowe I have always had a good experience! I love how my vehicle is waiting by the door and clean. I would never trust my vehicle to anyone else. Not to mention how nice everyone is in the servuce department. I purchased my first vehicle from Dave and found the experience was no hassle so I went back and Wil took very good care of me. Mike's team is knowledgeable and take time to explain the vehicle inside and out. I'm happy with my new Sonata.

I have been using the Rowe Ford Service Department since 1998, dealing primarily with Scott Joys but occasionally with Rob and Sharon. I very much appreciate the professionalism of all of them. I like having repairs explained to me in terminology that I understand, and on occasion the explanation has included drawings. My concerns have always been dealt with promptly and courteously. I like being made aware of upcoming routine maintenance needs as well as potential problems allowing me time to budget for them. I like leaving the service department feeling secure that my vehicle is well maintained and safe. When my vehicle was involved in an accident Rowe worked with the insurance company to ensure repairs were done to specifications that returned the vehicle to like new condition.

We have purchased several cars from Rowe in Westbrook. My husband and I are retired and rely on their service. Sharon is someone who we trust and enjoy seeing a few times a year. The service is quality and reliable which we are greatful for. Our last sales experience we had the pleasure of dealing with Mike. The salesperson was very knowledgable about the vehicles we purchased. We have sent our kids to Rowe to buy their vehicles and we would recommend Rowe to anyone.

I dealt with a receptionist, who was terrible, Linda I think was her name, she could care less about customer service, who reads a book on the job, I wouldn't be able too, the other receptionist was texting, are they really getting paid for this? Jeff in quicklane was horrible and ignorant, between these three at Rowe Ford I would not recommend a good place to go unless they got rid of these three and hired three friendly individuals that remembered what customer service really is. Rob was amazing in quicklane and I would only tell people to deal with him, thank you Rob for reminding me there are still good customer service people out there. I have only owned Fords and when I went into a dealership the people were always friendly! One out of four is a bad ratio!!! I think other people would love to fill their spot and do a much better job, maybe they should meet Rob who was the only one out of them that actually smiled!!

When I bought my 2003 Ford Taurus, Rowe's big sales pitch was that a "Lifetime Warranty" was included with the purchase. We thought this was great and traveled 1 1/2 hours to Westbrook to buy our car. The sales rep explained that we would need to have regular maintenance performed on the car to keep the warrenty valid. No problem! I explained that since we were not in the area, we wanted to use a local garage which he said was fine. Two years later, when the transmission went I called to find out how the claims process would work. "Just schedule the appointment and bring it in" he says. I was astounded! He didn't ask any information about the car - not even my name or number. No questions asked. I even called back a second time asking if I would need to provide any paperwork. "Nope, just bring it in." For three days I didn't hear from them. When I called, the guy said he hadn't touched it because he wanted to go over the costs. I mentioned that I had the lifetime warranty and he looked into it and got back to me. I wound up talking with a sales manager who said that in order for the warranty to be valid, I needed to call for authorization every single time I brought it in for maintenence since I didn't have it done at the dealership. The sales rep we dealt with at the time of purchase made no mention of this. The manager's response "You should have read the fine print." Unbelievable - nothing but a scam. I asked if they could have the car towed back to me since the man who I made the appointment with should have gotten more information before he made the appointment but, nope, they wouldn't even tow the car back to me. It's a big THUMBS DOWN from me.

Ken Sweet, as mentioned in another review, is the guy to work with. As a single female and recent graduate, going through the car-buying process could get frustrating at times. Ken was upfront, helpful, friendly, and understanding. He worked with me to get the deal I was looking for and made sure that the incentives offered could be stacked for me ($2000 cash back + $400 recent graduate). He didn't try to sell me extras I didn't need. I walked away with a new car at a price I felt was fair, and I'll be recommending this dealer over Prime to anyone who is in the market for a new car.

Ken Sweet is the person to ask for if you are looking to buy in this market. This guy was the busiest in the showroom for the past two day which I was there. He is the internet manager who is not supposed to field calls but cause the salestaff seemed to be all to busy even after the second page(probably congregating around the coffee machine or at the window to the sales lot waiting for the next up) he was able to handle the sale of my new Ford Flex. Ken did what he said he was going to do as I put him and Rowe to the challenge thrown at me by the Prime Ford dealer that told me the add was misleading and they couldn't sell me the vehicle for that price. Ken was upfront after he found out one of the dealer rebates had been pulled but said that Wally Camp will not do business any other way than to honor the add. Ken was awesome in the accomodating of my three young children as he understood and played with them like humans not distractions. I am glad Prime dared me to go there cause I did even better than anywhere else I had been. Buying a vehicle is never an easy task but the feeling of leaving satisfied with your deal is what matters the most. There is always going to be someone that should of, could of, would of done better but I challenge you to buy from Rowe first.

This Salesperson was friendly and patient. Took the time to go over the vehicle with me and spent much time answering my questions. This dealership also has the best warranty program out there. I have checked around and with cost of vehicles today and factory warranties only good till your payments are done or you still paying for the vehicle. The finance team explained the process very well. I look forward to doing business with this dealership in the future.
