Worst ever experience in a USED CAR SALE (1) star is way to good for them! RUN or take my WARNING! Mike M. salesman, added 12 months of extra payments, without my approval, make sure you are not paying more than what you originally offered. WATCH OUT for the FINANCE GUY. Beware of manager Mike M. and Manager Mike P. they have threatened to sue, called my wife 8 times, we spoke to the police, still they called to offer the original deal, but only if we took their names out of this review

They give a deal to make you love the car and you shake hands on it (it means nothing to them) Then once ur ready they jack up the price due to miscalculation (very hard math) very unprofessional sales manager . Redicioulas and dont care for customers coming back or recommending. They make the sale and call it a day. Shame to be part of ford!!!

The salesman Mike just attempted to charge my husband $3000.00 extra, by adding on 12 payments to the deal. The police are coming, I called the wrong manager Mike to complain, the other manager Mike has called me 6 times, threatening to sue me, if I put his name in the review. Once we realized they had added the additional 12 payments he had to get his trade in back. Now the correct manager Mike said he could make the original deal, minus the 3 grand. Manager Mike just called back again, after I asked him not to, he offered the deal, take names off the review, or be sued, I picked being sued. Mike said he will ruin me.

Don't trust their advertised pricing on Cars.com for a new truck. Pricing is for Ford employees living in Michigan (I was told) and not correct as well for a truck I called about. Actual pricing was about $7,000 higher. I figured maybe it was this one truck I was looking at alone. The next day I received a follow up email from cars.com with approx 8 other trucks priced approx the same way from this dealer. That made me decide to write a review. I think they advertise these low prices to pull people in and then say you can't get that pricing.

Let me start by saying I don't have high expectations for used car salesmen. But these guys take the cake. Ask 3 different guys what the price of a car is and get 2 different prices and the third says it's already sold. The first guy I spoke with seemed to have a decent head on his shoulder but when his friends arrived, I was passed off onto another salesman. This means I get the joy of explaining my situation preferences blah blah blah and pleasure of answering his meaningless questions about my family occupation recreation dreams (FORD an acronym they attempt to use to build a rapport with you). After the small talk, we went to look at some cars. I was flabbergasted by the selections he took me to. When I tried to tell him that I was looking for something simple and dependable, he just tried to sell me on the newest features. I told him you are not listening to me so I will be leaving. At which point, his only response was asking me for my contact information so we could stay in touch. UNBELIEVABLE

We brought our Ford Edge in for repairs on an electrical issue. Your service department was able to figure out the problem and repair it. But, the thing that was most impressive was that they test drove the car twice. Making sure that our safety was of the utmost importance to them. This is exceptional service. Would respond to my emails, but wouldn't answer my questions that I asked. They would just pass over them as if I didn't ask. Wouldn't give me pricing on the vehicle I asked for. Talked to many dealers before making a purchase, and this one was the most-difficult to deal with.

If I could rate lower than a 1 star, I would. Everything went perfectly fine with the salesman. He was a gentleman and helped us quickly without overselling what we weren't interested in. The problem came into play on day 2 when we came back to finish purchasing the vehicle. After being told to come back at a certain time so we could quickly get in and out of there, we had to wait well over an hour. Then, we sat with the low-life finance "professional" that they have. After trying to "get us a lower payment" by pretty much doubling the interest rate through one of his "preferred" banks, we politely (multiple times) told him we weren't interested. My fiance had a better rate through Capital One and that's who we wanted to go through. This angered the finance guy and he begrudgingly agreed to go through Capital One. He then took the next two minutes to quickly work with the bank online to send the pre-approval through. Mind you, this was after he feigned confusion over how we would get a "check" from the bank and need to come back later because it was such a difficult process with those banks (Capital One and Chase.) Lovely, huh?And here's the kicker...after it was too late and we were already home and about to make the first payment to the bank, we realized that that guy signed my fiance up for Citizen's Bank and we were naive enough not to notice until the bill came in.Wise up fellow car purchasers. Don't let this place take you for a ride. I will NEVER recommend anyone go to this dealership. I'm going to make it my mission to let as many people as possible know what a HORRIBLE company this is. And if we had any grounds for legal action against these lying cons, we would follow through. *Car was purchased approx. 3 weeks ago*

It started with a text from Lawrence mentioning some impressive rebates on the SHO. Being a new car fanatic, I was contemplating a 2015 SHO and Explorer Sport. I dropped by the showroom the following day and within a matter of minutes, I was on my way with a new Explorer. He had both waiting for me to test drive, but I had my mind made up that it was time for a little more room. It's a great car and this was the simplest transaction yet. It's the fourth car my wife and I have bought or leased from Lawrence and each and every one has been a great experience. He goes above and beyond and each deal makes us look forward to the next. He's a good guy and it shows that he enjoys what he does.

My dealer went above and beyond in obtaining my 2015 explorer and ensuring it met all my specifications. The dealer, Mike Long, contacted multiple dealerships in order to find my vehicle and was able to get me in my new vehicle with 24 hours. Our salesperson was great but the service desk could be a little more helpful. We was in the back signing paper but when we finish we forgot a question. So we wanted to talk back with him, so I went to the service desk to ask if we can talk back to him. She call but he didn't answer. She did nothing after that so we had to ask our salesman. And he got the answer for us. But I thought that was rude of her to not to follow up on it.

I drove my salesman crazy trying to find the Edge that I would like. Couldn't make it to the dealership for a test drive because it stayed cold and snowy. Then turned around and told him I wanted an Explorer-no problem. And when I couldn't find what I wanted close enough to transport, he ordered it for me. It's beautiful!. I experienced excellent service from brad the car salesman. He was very informative and could speak on all the models and upgrades each car offered and explained the benefits of each. As long as the car works out and the price points are competitive in the industry, when i trade in, I will look to brad first. As fair as fords marketing (tv and paper ads) I was unimpressed with the price points that were advertising and the price points at the dealership. As a customer I would prefer to know a realistic number that is being advertised and what the dealership is actually charging. For clarity, brad was an excellent dealer and walked me through the marketing "scam" with complete professionalism!

I searched for months for a used vehicle. That's what my husband and I had done for the last 9 years. Vowing to never buy an new car. We wanted to save money for rental property and thought that a new purchase would be foolish. Weeeell, Mr. Larry Moore changed our minds. Since we were former purchasers of 2 of Fords many awesome products. We decided on the Explorer. Once Larry took the time to inform me of vehicles in available in your inventory we decided on my current car and color I felt confident that I would get an awesome/reasonable deal. Everything went wonderfully! Steve assured us that we were getting a quality vehicle at the right price as well. ......He worked so hard with settling what could have been a bad deal for us. I'm thankful for that. All went so very well until I got to the moment to sign on the dotted line with Candy. The experience with her made me feel as though I was in the wrong place for a purchase. It was a terrible experience. Following the informal introduction, Candy began explaining the terms of my purchase. Shortly after, I asked Candy if I she'd mind if I could explain to her my understanding of the terms. I felt a little bit confused by her explanation because I heard several different prices and I was seeking clarification as to what each of the prices we're for and my bottom line. Candy soon became irritated summoned for Steve, packed up my papers whisked her self away from her desk without apologizing. Citing "I have that thing to do"!I'm thinking. ....Wow! I've been dumped! Steve finalized my deal. Was more than happy to explain every piece of paper lying in front of me. Without hesitation.My friend who was with me, also a nurse who is looking to buy a car soon had doubt about returning to Royal Oak Ford because of Candy's "off-putting" attitude towards me. Candy was very unprofessional. I personally did not care for her poor attitude and felt embarrassed for that reason. I hope that maybe she was having a bad day. I'm work the health care industry (where customer service is Key) and unprofessional behavior towards patients/visitors/each other is unacceptable and not tolerated. 2011 Ford Focus was rear-ended. Trunk was buckled, bumper was broken, taillight was hanging. Royal Oak Ford did a good job, but took just short of a month to make the repairs. At the time I didn't have rental insurance. Car looks great, but it seemed like an awfully long time to wait to get transportation back.

I feel that there can be some improvement on the negotiation process.During the pricing of my vehicle, I was asked a lot of "well what CAN you do". Consumers don't want to be made to feel like they are being taken advantage of. During the process I felt that I was being squeezed to pay as much as I could to get the vehicle out of your inventory with no consideration as to how I was being hassled.In the end, I feel I got a marginal price on my vehicle. Honestly, I wanted to take the deal elsewhere due to how I was being treated and haggled with. I dealt with another dealership for my Husbands vehicle and we weren't treated like this. I'm also a Ford employee. The pushy Sales model used at Royal Oak Ford isn't not customer friendly or what Ford wants to be associated with.

Staff was helpful and friendly during the process of taking my car to the body shop and arranging the rental car. The time to repair my car was 29 days which is quite a while especially when having to drive a rental vehicle. The staff worked directly with my insurance company. All I had to do was exchange the check for my vehicle when it was ready. My car looks good as new and rides that way, as well.

I ordered a Transit just one month after it's launch in the U.S. At that time Ford was offering very little information to it's dealer network, so it was very important for me to work with a salesperson with an interest in taking the time to sort things out thoroughly during the complicated ordering process. I had been in contact with Mike Long earlier in the year and knew that when it came time to place the order he would be the one I could trust to work with me. As expected everything went smooth, which may sound typical for Royal Oak Ford but other Transit buyers from different dealerships have been reporting horror stories. I knew I chose the right dealership as well as sale person, and am very pleased with the outcome on this first of a kind vehicle to come through Royal Oak Ford.

The only thing I could possibly recommend is to tell your customers that the paperwork may take 1-2 hours. For us, it was fine, but we may have left the facility for lunch had we been aware of the time necessary for them to arrange the paperwork/payment details.

Service Department was very disappointing today. This is the second time I have had a scheduled "one hour" oil change appointment that lasted two hours! If it is going to take two hours please TELL ME so I can go home rather than wait in your customer lounge that was filled with exhaust fumes, construction noise and a TV that is so freaking loud I can still hear it over my headphones with my itunes turned up full blast. No one bothered to apologize for the wait. No one warned me it was going to take longer than the scheduled time. When I got in my car it reeked of oil and no one had bothered to place protective paper on my seat or floor. Oh and since the service area is under construction I stopped where the sign says to stop... no one came out to greet me so I got out of the car to go in for help and another customer started yelling at me for parking where the sign clearly said I was supposed to stop. Admittedly he had to squeeze around me because they had a great big truck blocking the path. I know construction is a challenge but please have a plan!This was the most unpleasant service appointment I ever had . I will NOT be going back. this in addition to the built in faulty transmission on the Focus (had to have the clutch replaced and it's only a year old) ... I will never buy another Ford ...

2015 Ford Fusion Titanium. Service overall went well. The staff was helpful. Only draw back is when you ask for the best deal the person you are working with should give you the best offer and the customer should not have to beg for a discount. I bought a demo and was given $1,000 off for it having 5,000 miles. This discount should have been more up front instead of me having to work to get more off. The initial discount was $200 off per 1,000 miles on the vehicle. We eventually got the offer to something I could live with. The X plan was given which means nothing to a dealership as Ford gives a kick back to dealerships who offer this X plan.

We purchased a 2014 Mustang GT. We haven't owned a Ford in awhile - not since a Ford Explorer Sport back in the 1980's. We are enjoying our car, even though currently it spends a lot of time in the garage - come spring we will drive it more. We appreciated the non hassle atmosphere and was able to make an informed decision with no pressure added. Only fault, is that it would have been nice if someone had took the time to cover the onboard media system - we have been procrastinating setting it up - it looks interesting and could be helpful. All I ask is that it is better than OnStar - we have that in our other vehicles and stopping using it as it was awful. Goal - to have it setup by the first of the year. We weren't even aware that it came with the car, until I read the quick manual. Might be something to have your sales staff cover when talking about the vehicle or someone else could be in charge of that aspect.

His insight on the business and his natural love for people is what I loved about my experience. He really genuinely cared and was truly concerned about me and my son and our transportation woes as opposed to making a sale. One of the Managers, Steve Simon walked my son around the entire dealership while another Manager, Eddie Hall spoke to me about business endeavors, corporate customs and the importance of simply being happy. He even passed out fresh sandwiches and snacks to all those in the lobby. Overall, the service was excellent and I am truly grateful for all of the nice people at Royal Oak Ford.

I visited Royal Oak Ford to have an inspection for end of lease on my 2012 Ford Escape. The inspection was quick. We discussed my options and I decided to turn in my vehicle. We leased 4 Ford vehicles in the last 3 years, two focus, one flex, and 1 fusion. We love Royal Oak Ford, but mostly we LOVE Mr. Willie Parker. He is very honest and helpful when you are undecided, our reach a quandary when making a decision to buy or lease. We have been going to the same dealership for nearly 20 years. The first person to impress us was a salesman named Lynn Pipkins. After that we had a series of disappointments, where salesman flat out lied about quotes and we didn't find out until we were in the finance office! The worst was with Lawrence Young....we trusted him and he had us paying the equivalent of a house note on a leased car! All while he bragged about being Debt free and driving a foreign car instead of a Ford product! Willie is like a breath of fresh air because he treats you like family, he's honest, and he keeps his word. We come from three generation's of Ford workers. We LOVE FORD...the technology is a force to be reckoned with!!

I purchased a 2015 Fusion...I love it!! I had a 2010 fusion that I purchased in 2010...wonderful car! My salesman was Larry Moore for the first Fusion. I moved to Chicago a year ago. I recently received an email from you which prompted me to consider a new Fusion, either to lease or to buy. I decided to visit my Ford Dealer in Royal Oak (while there this past weekend ), because of Larry. He is a wonderful person, a great salesman..excellent! I consider him to have the "essence of it" regarding sales. He is very helpful, very knowledgeable, and does a great job of presenting the product. I am basically turned off by a person in any field of sales that is pushy and overbearing. Larry is none of the above...has good sense, gives good advice when asked...I appreciate him so much. He is the reason I returned to Royal Oak Ford to buy my car. There are Ford Dealers in Chicago, of course...but I totally trust Larry Moore and that's why I returned to Michigan for my new car, which by the way, is wonderful! I would also mention Steve ( forgot his last name ) who deals with financing...also excellent, does his job without being pushy. I have walked out of establishments when someone tried to corner me to make a decision, whether it be for extended warranties or to buy the car itself...Larry and Steve both recommended the "Gap Insurance" ( I think that's what it's called )and explained it to me. It made sense to buy it. Again, I trust Larry Moore to the fullest....amazing salesman! I hope whoever is in charge of saying thank you to those doing an excellent job take the opportunity to give a nod to Larry.....and to Steve. They certainly help to make Royal Oak Ford the fine establishment that it is.

My first interaction was with Cathy Mason and it was very pleasant and she did all she could to help me get all the finances in order so that I may purchase a new car and trade in my Dodge Journey. She was just wonderful and introduced me to Tom Griffin, who was to be my salesman, he was the nicest man and helped me get exactly what I wanted in a car for the right price. He gave me a tutorial on how to operate my new Ford Fusion before I left and had the car washed for me so I could leave in style!!! It was overall I completely wonderful experience and I am so glad that I drove from Port Huron, MI to Royal Oak it was well worth the drive for such a pleasant experience. As everyone knows, car buying is a stressful time for the average consumer, even when a buyer knows the specifics for what they want. Royal Oak Ford takes away a good portion of that stress by putting information in the customer's hands. I located the car I was interested in afterhours on a Saturday afternoon. First thing Monday morning, Cathy invited me down for a test drive. Thanks to their website, I was well-prepared before I step foot on the lot with over twenty photographs of the vehicle inside and out, a list of features at the trim level, and the free car history report that I compared against CarFax. Already knowing the Subaru Outback I came to see was a one-owner vehicle with no accidents saved time and helped me narrow down my questions and focus on the car from top to bottom.The sales experience was not high pressure. Mike, my salesperson, got me on a road test within 15 minutes. We did a thorough walkaround of the vehicle together so I could get a feel for the interior and exterior features and configuration. There was no problem going for a nice roadtest and he encouraged me to get the Outback up to speed on 696. Negotiating onto Woodward is always a bit tricky and his instructions on how to beat the traffic definitely helped! With no hurry to get back or someone trying to sell me on the car, I had all the time I needed to listen and feel the ride, looking for those little quirks or flaws that affeccted my buying decision.Negotiation wasn't bad. We turned around a deal in short order, and the paperwork was waiting for me in the half hour I needed to get to the bank and my insurance agent. If every business could be so prompt, I'd have more of my precious free time back!

My sales person was excellent. He took time to show me several vehicles, talked about the options of each one, and really helped me make the right decision. I was not very satisfied with the fiance manager. At first it felt like I was being rushed to start signing documents without being first shown the full terms of the deal. When I asked to have more visibility to the numbers I found that I was being given an interest rate that was much higher than expected. It was only after refusing to purchase the car was I offered an alternative rate that was acceptable. Once this was addressed I was again encouraged to begin signing. I again refused to sign anything until I saw all components of the deal. Invoice price, partner discount, rebates, trade in, down payment, remaining balance. When I finally was given this detail I discovered that the deal I was being asked to sign included the wrong purchase price by almost 1,500. When I called this to her attention, I was told I was wrong and the information she provided was accurate. It was only after threatening to walk away that the financial rep talked to the sale person and determined that she had the wrong invoice amount. I feel like if I had started signing documents immediately without seeing all of the details, I would have been forced to pay several thousand dollars more than i actually did based on an incorrect invoice price and higher than necessary interest rate. My experience with the selection of my vehicle was great. My experiance finalizing the purchase was disappointing.

I talked to Mike Schneider on Friday and we talked about possible selections of a Fusion. I told him that my wife and I would come to visit him on Saturday. He called Saturday morning with some pricing on a couple of differently equipped cars. We visited that afternoon, test drove the vehicles, and made a selection of a well equipped Fusion. We came back on Monday evening to pick up the vehicle. All of this in a few days and hours. Kudos to all of the people that were so friendly and helpful. I will always buy from Royal Oak Ford...the staff is very accommodating and friendly....HOWEVER, I was a little disappointed that I did not get the car I wanted....I told the salesperson that I wanted a silver ford Fiesta, that had a manual transmission, which meant to me a 'stick'...and when I arrived and saw that they were prepping a white car with an automatic transmission, I was saddened....but so anxious to get a car to replace the one that was totalled, that I took it....I know that they are anxious to get all the 2014's off the lot to make room for the 2015...and obviously I wasn't clear enough that I didn't want an automatic....so if I were to say anything that was negative, I would say that they didn't make sure that what I was saying is what they were hearing...my last Fiesta was a stick, and if they looked at my record, they should have known or at least made sure they were providing me with what I wanted....

I just purchased a 2015 Explorer and am enjoying every second I am able to drive it. The third row seating is a life saver having my wife and three children to join me on the weekends. The sales staff is wonderful and made sure I understood all the features before I left the lot. I also must complement the service staff because on Saturday when we came to look at Explores, we drove my wife's 2014 F-150 and I thought we needed an oil change. The gentleman that helped us checked and said we did not need an oil change for another 2,000 miles and felt it would be wrong if he did not inform me of this. I'm not sure that I can convey just how awesome my experience was. Mike Long is probably one of the most amazing people on the planet!!!! I walked in unsure if I could get any kind of car at all. I didn't have high hopes. I ended up driving away the same day in a 2014 Focus!!! My payments were within my budget and I now have a safe reliable vehicle to drive my 5 year old around in. I also work nights and have a 60 mile commute. I'm a little more at ease knowing I'm not going to be stuck on the side of the freeway in the middle of the night! OK! Couple things about the car though---1. the rear view outside mirrors should have the "warning light" as standard equipment. The magnifying mirrow is useless!2. Very difficult to adjust the outside mirrors. The control is small and hidden on the armrest. Again- very difficult.

He gave me all the information I needed to decide which vehicle to buy, found a different color for me when a friend insisted I shouldn't buy a black car (sometimes you have to allow yourself to be influenced by a good friend), and was very knowledgeable about all the ins and outs and paperwork--even though he told me he has been selling cars for only a couple of months. He was very patient with me and extremely helpful in many ways, even getting a bumper sticker and some annual park passes off my old car and onto my new one. Royal Oak Ford is very fortunate to have Steven on its staff. Over the past 50 years I have been to several dealerships and never returned to any of them for anything except for warranty work. I will be happy to have oil changes and any other needed work done at Royal Oak Ford.

I came in for a scheduled inspection on my then current lease that was coming to an end. I did not initially intend to acquire its replacement that very day but that is exactly what happened. I was telling Mr. Scheider (times two) what I had enjoyed in the Edge but what I had to be able to afford in my new lease and for what term. They listened and had suggestions and the next thing I know I am terminating my lease a little bit earlier and driving home in a new Escape. I have been very satisfied so far and I don't expect not to be in the future.

my salesman was low pressure, but very motivated to make the sale - and found me exactly the Escape I wanted, despite the fact that I wanted one of the less common colors and was very specific about the options I wanted, and I knew there would not be a lot to choose from (sunset w/ tan leather interior...moon roof). Within 24 hours of me first going there, I was driving my new car. I leased two cars from another dealership previously and when I went to see my salesman in early June (5 weeks before my lease was up), my salesman actually told me to come back in July and made no effort to get me into a car now (I felt he was going to rush me into a car they had on the lot because it was 'last minute'). Royal Oak made my final lease payment for me and made the sale. I was treated with respect and as if I were intelligent (I am!) at all times. Overall, this was the easiest and lowest pressure dealer experience I've ever had. The salesman was friendly and professional, but fortunately not overly chatty and got right to business. The closing process was smooth and quick.

I have had two flat tires this winter, both had to be replaced. I have a tire warranty, thank God. Jeremy Mexico assisted me both times. I first time I was lucky enough to have him assist me. The second time, I called and requested him. Royal Oak Ford is very fortunate to have Jeremy has an employee. He took care of everything both times. From ordering the tire, taking care of all the paper work and letting me know what was going on at all times. I walked away both time extremely satisfied and happy. I have told many of my experience. Sales experience was excellent. I hate buying a new car because of the usual car dealership attitude and rudeness. I was able to get answers to most of my questions via e-mail and when I was ready to come in to the dealership, the internet sales staff was very polite, low pressure, and effecient. Please note that my phone is not fully synced at my request because I am changing phones this coming week. Evilaso was thorough with explaning the services avaialble at Royal Oak Ford and guiding my through the purchase experience. It is not at all related to the sales process that the car started to run rough within a week of purchase and I am now trying to arrange a service appointment with my work schedule.

This place is terrible!!! The salesmen completely jerked me around. They did not have the exact model I was looking for, but I was told that I could come in have my trade in assessed, test drive a similar vehicle and that they could order me the one I wanted if I decided to move forward.I arrived and was handed off between two different sales guys even though I had made an appointment with the one I wanted to work with. After the test drive, I told them I wanted them to order me the vehicle and then they said they couldn't guarantee they could get it and that they would have to call around for me. This was not what I had been told or I wouldn't have even gone there. To make matters worse, they then refused to even look at my trade in because they may not even have a car to sell me. They never even called to follow up with me to let me know if they could order the vehicle. In addition, the sales person gave me bad information about the car and tried to push the models they had on the lot instead of ordering me the car I wanted. I was so frustrated that at one point I contacted the sales manager (thinking if I made him aware they could improve) and he was condescending and rude to me. He defended the sales guy saying that he was new and told me that there is no way any sales person can be expected to know all the Ford specifics. I will never go back and I plan on letting everyone I know what a terrible place this is.

I have followed all the guidelines for maintenance per my warranty.When I took it in for an oil change April 17, l was informed that there might be a problem with my front suspension. The complete workup to find out what was wrong was $105. I was advised I probably would need sway links and possibly ball joints. The sway links were said to cost up to $230 and the ball joints might cost approximately $500. The mechanic told me he thought I was still under warranty (I later checked and found I was only under warranty for the engine and transmission, so he was wrong). All of this seemed very unlikely as I only have about 9,000 miles on the car. I took the car to a certified mechanic for a second opinion.The mechanic told me there is absolutely no problem with my car. He went on to add that he would never take it to the people who changed my oil (done at Royal Oak Ford) because they were so messy. There was oil all around the engine compartment, and even oily hand prints on the oil filter. On top of that, my tires were over-inflated by at least 9 lbs each, thus causing excessive wear on the tires and a much harder ride.I am a single woman, and I purchased this car expecting the dealership where I bought it to give me the best service. This blatant abuse of my trust has made me furious! I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this dealership. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Highway Safety Commission.

I have a 2012 Focus with 12,000 miles on. I only had the car 6 months when the cooling fan went out. When they took it out they damaged my air conditioning line. It took them a week to fix it. Ford has a redesigned trans in the 2012 model. They are having problems with this new design and my car has been in three times to have a new update to the software. You have to argue with them to get anything done. They tell you that Ford knows about the problem and there's nothing they can do. Meanwhile I'm paying a lot of money for a car that doesn't run right. I left the dealership a couple of bad reviews and was told not to return in the future. Wouldn't recommend the 2012 Focus or the dealership to anyone.

My husband and I were GM owners for 30 years. We were in the market for a new tow vehicle and felt the F150 was superior to the GM/Chevy comparable. As Royal Oak homeowners we like to support RO businesses so we naturally went to RO Ford to look at vehicles. I will summarize by saying that the Manager, General Manager and Owner of this dealership really could care less about the customer satisfaction they brag about. We had an unfortunate experience with delivery of our new truck. The truck did not come in as ordered after waiting 5 weeks for delivery. Our option was to walk away from the sale, or re-order the vehicle less options that were no longer available. We had already sold our current tow vehicle. We were upset and disappointed that we were put into this situation. This was communicated to the salesman, sales manager and general manager. There was no attempt at service recovery whatsoever. We were treated disrespectfully by the salesman and the sales manager. The General Manager made not attempt to call us after communicating our concerns. I continued to call her until I reached her. She did sound sincere and sympathetic to our experience, but we never heard from her again. I followed up with a letter to the owner, who again did not attempt to call us. We were very disappointed in how we were treated after spending $40+k on a vehicle. We won't support this business for any reason in the future and neither will our family and friends.

This was my first car I have ever bought new and lemme tell you I will never ever go anywhere else! Not only did they make me feel at home and welcome they brought the car up to the door when it was rainy and cold so I didn't have to freeze out side. When Anthony was going over the car with me there was not one question that he could not answer for me. And if he didn't know the answer he would find out and make sure I was satisfied. I would recommend anyone who is interested in a ford car go to royal oak ford they will make the experience like no other!

Came to this dealership to buy a new Ford F150. I have. Z plan and this should be easy. There was one salesperson willing to help me when I cam ein and he seemed friendly enough. Than punk assistant sales manager named Stan Damer came over and directed me to older guy by front door that had ignored me when I came in. How odd! I came to find out the assistant manager apparently works for slave wages because he has no license and can't work elsewhere, he gets kick backs from this John Angelo guy for every sale. This is dispicable. When I insisted young gentleman finish with me as he had been kind both Stan and John make a scene. These people are nuts. Also noticed reviews here, tHere are 5 fake name review all together with impossible 5 star ratings... I hhave names because I left this lace with all of there cards in my hand with intention of calling Ford to report them. Avoid Stan Damer and this dump of a dealership at all costs. Try two ford stores in Troy or Holzer in Frmington, they had good inventory and were very professional!I bought from Holzer

This is easily the worst dealership I have ever been to. I currently drive a Ford product and am interested in a getting a new vehicle as my lease is terminating soon. On my first two visits, I was basically ignored on 2 consecutive days by the same salesman. After walking out for a second time, a "customer care" representative called me back and tried to arrange a 3rd visit. I had an appointment at 6pm today. When I showed up, the salesman wasn't there. I patiently waited for 10min, when somebody informed me he was at another lot picking up a car and wouldn't be there for 15 more minutes. I decided that instead of waiting for 25min+ for the 3rd time, I'm done dealing with Royal Oak Ford. I leased my current vehicle from this location, but I will never set foot in this dealership again. This is a terrible way to treat customers.

Our salesman, Tommy White, from the moment he encountered us outside the dealership. He spent over 2 hours with us the first day, set up test drive and allowed us to compare the sedan with the hatchback, which we ended up purchasing. He searched the online inventory, finding a car at another dealership that was already sold and finally telling us that we would have to order our car from the factory. Hid dedication to selling us a new Ford vehicle made us want to buy a car from him. We drove by a competing Ford dealership 3 miles away because when we walked in the door, no one seemed interested in our presence or in inquiring what our interests were. We would definitely purchase another car from Tommy White, and recommend him to our friends and family.

My sales person, Mr. Evilasio Covacha is very excellent and professional in his dealings when I am still inquiring to purchase my car. He is very straight forward in his explanations and calculations regarding the price of the car. He even made an extra effort to locate a particular car according to the package that I am looking for. Overall, I am very happy that I met Mr. Covacha when I am still in the process of looking for a new car. Keep it up and I will not hesitate to transact with him again in the future so much more that I will always recommend him to anybody who is looking for any Ford product.

DO NOT GO TO ROYAL OAK FORD!!Go somewhere else, this place is a rip-off. Purchased a used 2010 Ford Fusion there, came with a 3,000 mile 60 day warranty (said so on the sticker). Used car sales tried to say it did not have a warranty when it came time to sign paperwork. So it was confirmed there was a warranty on the vehicle. I also purchased an extended warranty. Just a month later, the vehicle started shutting down and wouldn't go when pressing foot on accelerator. Service claims they can't find the problem and the vehicle has been in service 4 times already for same problem; only have had this vehicle since mid June 2011. The problem still exist today. Crazy director of service (Mark Denali) says if you put a new throttle body on vehicle it will cost over $700.00 and at my expense because 3,000 mile warranty won't cover it. But doesn't know if the extended warranty will cover throttle body and tells me that warranty company wouldn't pay for it without a diagnosis from them anyway. He hung up on me but not before he got the "Fat*!" word out first. They are dishonest there. If you are buying a car that you plan on driving and not being killed in, go somewhere else!! The life you save may be your own!

Back in August 2010 my fiance and I went to Royal Oak Ford to look at two new vehicles. Despite wanting to purchase TWO new vehicles at the same time, the service we received was horrendous (lots of time sitting by ourselves waiting and being pawned off between sales people, etc.). We ended up leaving with nothing after Stan Damer (who we were pawned off to by Jo Davidson) offered us $500 for my 2002 SLE Bonneville ($3,500 - $4,000 under KBB). My fiance ended up purchasing a 2010 Escape at a Troy, MI Ford dealer two weeks later. I was in the market for a Ford F-150 and once I heard that four new powertrains were coming out on the 2011 model, I decided to wait. Fast forward to March 2011. I am looking for a 2011 F-150 Supercab with the Ecoboost. I am working with two other dealers in trying to locate this vehicle; however, I noticed that RO Ford had one with all the options I was looking for so I decided to give them one final opportunity. This time I worked with Bob Pomilia (as Jo Davidson had left/been let go, which was no surprise), who was a vast improvement to Jo/Stan but still was not able to close the deal. After spending 2 1/2 hours at the dealership, it came down to the trade-in value of my Bonneville. I wanted at least $3,700 (I had been offered $3,900 by one of the other dealers I was working with but who was having trouble tracking down an Ecoboost) so I didn't think I was out of my mind. Royal Oak Ford came back with a $1,000 offer and were not willing to negotiate whatsoever! In fact, they even gave me a lease offer despite me explicitly saying I didn't want a lease. I was prepared to drive that truck off the lot that day had they at least offered $3,500. Mike McKenzie (sales manager) treated me like I was an idiot. They acted like I was making up the competing offer I had received (I wasn't) and Mike told me that the competing offer was a hell of deal and I should go for it. Thanks Mike, I certainly will! Go to Royal Oak Ford AT YOUR OWN RISK and if you do, stay away from Stan Damer. He's a complete sleazeball (there's words that better describe him that I can't say here!) and will no doubt try to rob you blind on your trade if you have one. I'm surprised they're still in business given the lack of business etiquette their sales staff and management provide to their customers.

The customer service in the service area is awful. The service manager is nasty and so are his employees,along with the cahsier in the service area. I have been up there numerous times for little things for my fusiion,I did not buy the there,the car is a 2008 Fusion.I never had been given such an attitude in my life! I have seen them however treat women that are "skanky" looking a lot nicer than me.I am not ugly or anything but I don't dress like I just got home from the club.I now go to Dean Sellers Ford,much nicer and great customer service.Please stop giving these people the business.

Everything went up in price when it came time to sign the papers and he even cut options out of the vehicle without telling me. He at first thought I wasn't going to make a purchase and was very rude. Terrible time trying to deal with the people here.
