To me it seems that buying a car new or used is more challenging than it used to be. There are many things to consider, and I weigh many factors. A good friend of mine was a car salesman at one time. His boss told him that I wasn't SOLD a car-I BOUGHT it, meaning I was a hard sell. I'm also a pessimist. Point being that despite my nature,I have successfully purchased 3 times as many vehicles from the Royal group as anyone else. Even when I could have been considered "unreasonable" in negotiating, I was always treated with courtesy and respect. I think that represents integrity of dealership. I have actually had sales managers from other dealerships raise their voices to me and used "strong arm" tactics to get me to buy. I think it would be wise to check with Royal before making a final decision.

I recently had some damage repaired by the Royal South Collision Center staff. They did an exceptional job and went above and beyond for me while my car was in the shop. Every conversation was polite and informative and my car looks great! I worked mostly with Jeff who kept me completely in the loop and even managed to get my car in for a much needed service which couldn't be accomplished in ordinary conditions since I have a mobility carrier attached to the back. While it was in the shop the carrier had to be removed and Jeff coordinated the service to be done and I did not have to do a thing! I highly recommend Royal South Collision Center.

I contacted the dealership about a vehicle that I liked and was doing a test drive in a couple hours and was driving that truck off the lot 2 hours later. I worked with sales representative Tim Dwyer who was willing to accommodate the tight schedule I was on and was a pleasure to work with. There were questions and requests I had in the days following my purchase and he was quick to respond an willing to work with me. Overall a very good experience at this dealership.

I had a very bad experience at Royal South previously and then after a visit that I had to do with them because it was recall work that was being done that actually went, my wife took our other vehicle there and I truly think they took advantage of her as a woman and thinking she doesn't any better. They weren't straightforward and didn't communicate on what they were doing or how much it was going to cost until they handed her the bill. They also didn't even bother to reset the change oil light even though when asked their records apparently stated it was done. I will NOT go back to Royal South.

Long, boring store short - not a great experience with this dealership. I drove two hours to purchase a gently used car from them, and before I'd even gotten home, the tire pressure warning light had lit up. I checked the tire pressures and all was fine, and turned out to be a bad sensor that would need replacing based on my internet searches (because I also learned later, the car did not come with manual - shame on me for not looking). When the sales person followed up that Monday asking me about my experience (and ironically referrals), I shared what had happened and asked what could be done. The response was simply "It's in your best interest to take it to a service department". I understand it is a used car, but it has low miles and this used car cost nearly $30,000 and should not have these issues in less than two hours after driving off the lot.I sent this note to the Sales Manager, who was so eager for my business, expressing my dissatisfaction with the experience.No response, since I guess the sale was already made.Buyers beware.

I had an oil consumption test performed by this dealership, and my vehicle failed the test. The test was completed about three weeks before moving to a new state. I was assured that the results of the test would be logged into the National Service History, and the new dealer would be able to see the results of this test. However, the results were entered incorrectly, and the new dealer is unable to see that I failed the test. No big deal -- EXCEPT TOYOTA ROYAL SOUTH REFUSES TO CORRECT THEIR MISTAKE! Chris Stucky is NOT a man of his word.

In the past several years I have bought four vehicles (2 Tundra, 1 RAV4, 1 FJ Cruiser) from Royal South and have been very pleased with their staff and all of their facilities. At first I was a little apprehensive about buying a car I have never seen and have it shipped all the way to Utah, but the team at royal South did everything so I could feel at ease about buying the Sienna. They were completely transparent about the state of the vehicle, even scheduled a live video conference to check it myself! Negotiating with them was easy (no shenanigans) and once we agree on buying conditions, they overnighted the paperwork and even helped me to arrange the shipping. Within a few days my Sienna arrived home exactly as expected, and has been a pleasure to drive ever since. I will definitely buy from Royal South again.

I had a couple of self-inflicted bumps and dents in my 2014 Tundra that I wanted to get fixed and Royal Toyota's Collision Center provided everything I needed. From the estimate where several options were discussed and they provided solid recommendations, through the repair and delivery process, each step went smoothly. The repairs were completed on time and within the cost estimate provided. They know what they are doing and they do it well.

I have bought three vehicles in less than a year from Rotal Toyota. I have all serviced here as well. There are always bumps in the road when buying a vehicle, but Royal has done a great job of smoothing out those bumps. Same is true for the service department. There is a reason we have purchased five vehicles there over the years.

I have a Prius and like the car but the Royal Toyota has made me stay away from all Toyota products. It is they only Toyota dealers in our town. I have had two problems with my car and each time they were not able to find the cause and started replacing parts costing thousands of dollars. The Customer service advisor is mostly trying to confuse the customer and avoid direct response to your concerns. Their service is totally guaranteed as long as you do not return with the same problem.

I have been very pleased with Royal South Toyota in Bloomington, Indiana. I recently had my Tundra and RAV4 serviced at Royal South and everything was completed within the timeframe discussed, and all work appears to have been performed properly. One thing I like about Royal South is that the service managers keep you informed of the status of key wear items, such as filters, tires, battery, and the progress of any repairs, during the appointment. Royal provides an efficient and friendly courtesy van, which minimizes my time away during the day. They always seem pleased to go the extra mile for Toyota owners.

BEST PLACE to go, for peace of mind and confidence that your car WILL be taken care of in the best possible manner. Everyone is also so friendly, and really cares about you and your car! They take the time to do it right, but efficiently. It is just perfect. Go there when I am in from out of town; have no worries, always feel confident and good about going there. The waiting area too really must be seen and appreciated! Go there just to enjoy it! A good place to hang out (I don't accept shuttle service:) -- I like staying there! I bought a used car, and it went smoothe, seems like it could have went a little faster. After we purchased the vehicle we found out there was only one key, and they did not work properly. We only had one ignition key and did not even have a key to open the doors on a key fob. I would have thought they would have checked that out previously to selling the vehicle.

This is the first time Ive EVER provided negative feedback to ANY company! I felt the need to do so because I really dont want this to happen to someone else. I purchased a certified pre-owned Ford F-150 Lariat about 6 months ago. I live 4 hours from Royal South Toyota and thought that buying a certified pre-owned vehicle with 40k miles from a reputable dealer, what could go wrong, right?! A LOT!! Everything was shined up when I made the long drive out to get it. It wasnt until a week later when the deodorizer that they sprayed in the interior wore off and there was a strong, musty smell in the cab that would not go away. I took it in to my local Ford dealership to investigate the smell and they found perforated rust and holes on the bottom of both sides of the cab. This required two new rear quarter panels to be installed (around $7000) which was luckily covered by Fords 5 year rust warranty. When I called Royal South, all I got was a sorry about your luck. When I got my truck out of the body shop a month and a half later I realized the blender motor for the heating system was not working. This was the first time the heat was ever used sense Ive owned it. I drove it directly back to Ford and $1,400 and a week later, they put a new motor in (not covered by warranty). At this point I was pretty fed up, Ive only driven this truck four out of the six months Ive owned it and put only 4,000 very expensive miles on it! I traded it in for a new truck at my local Ford dealership. After the loss of trade in, taxes, rental car, repairs and not to mention all of my trouble, dealing with Royal South cost me about $6,000-$7,000. It would have been $14,000 if Ford didnt cover the rust! Dont make the same mistake!To his credit, I did call Mark Zacharias, customer relations manager at Royal South. I wanted to give him a chance to give me an explanation before I posted this review. He said that there was no excuse of why this should have happened, especially on a certified vehicle! Mark was very courteous and apologetic and he said that he would have the pre-owned car manager, Andy Long, call me and he assured me that theyd get to the bottom of it. That was three weeks ago and I have still not received a call or explanation. So, as promised, here is my review. Long story shortDO NOT BUY FROM ROYAL SOUTH!

I was a first time buyer and i did my research before hand. My salesman was straight forward from the beginning and did not try to sell me anything i didn't want. He was quick to reply to all my email while i had to wait for hours for the other dealers. He went out of his way to get me the color of my car. I even drove an hour out of my way to get the car from them instead of a dealership around the corner of my house.

My car was damaged in a parking lot, and I was a little unsure of the process involved with filing a claim through the responsible party's insurance. Kris Todd was knowledgeable, patient, thorough, helpful, and great about keeping in touch with me through the repair process. He helped me file a claim with the responsible party's insurance and coached me over the phone as I was describing the car damage to the insurer. He contacted the rental car agency and had them come pick me up the day I left my car with Royal South. He walked me through the timeline of having the repairs done on my car. He also called me early in the day yesterday and alerted me that my car would be ready for me by the end of the day, which gave me plenty of time to make plans to get over there at 5:00pm. I would absolutely return here if I needed car repairs! I have also had equally pleasing experiences with routine maintenance done on my car in the service department. I can tell Royal South really prides itself on great customer service and convenience--for a single mom who is run ragged more often than not, that's something I really appreciated! Thanks, Royal South!

So I am new to Bloomington, and they have one Toyota Dealership in the Area, Royal South. I go to their Service Department to get my 5,000 mile service, which is free under Toyota Care for new vehicle owners. The 5,000 service consists of an oil change, tire rotation, and 15 point vehicle check. The service advisor tell me one hour. Takes 1 1/2 hour but no big deal, they have free Wi-Fi. Service advisor goes over what was done, good to go. Pick up the truck, no free Car Wash, wow that is standard customer care in San Diego where I bought the vehicle. One week later, I get a call from the dealership, SORRY, we forgot to change your oil, the mechanic thought you had synthetic oil, so we didn't do an oil change. Come back in and we'll do the oil change. So its Veterans Day, my day to relax, but I have to go back to the dealership for the oil change. OK, I go early and get it done. Tell the Service Advisor I would like to talk to the Manager about them not changing my oil on the first visit. So they change the oil, Jason gives me the speel about new mechanics and their sorry. Pick up the truck, go back inside, tell Jason could I at least have a complimentary car wash. Sure we can do that Mister Spencer. So they spray off my truck, don't wipe it down, looks worse than it did without the wash. Jason did offer me a free oil change in the future, but with Toyota care that's free the first 2 years. All this after also spending 400 dollars in their parts dept. for my new oval side steps. Basically the dealership is a nice facility, but their customer service is terrible. Jason needs some remedial training on CS. I will not go back, use a dealership in Martinsville or Indy since my son lives there. 180 degrees difference from the care I received in CA. They basically don't care if you come back or not.

Drove over 75 miles one way to look at a 2001 Rav4. When I arrived salesman was with someone else despite expecting my arrival. Another salesman was asked to help me. Vehicle was not pulled up, I had to walk to some back lot where salesman barely backed it out got me to see. Vehicle was dirty inside, animal hair everywhere. After agreeing to a test drive, salesman said I would need to wait while he put gas in the car. After waiting 10 minutes or so I decided to leave. As I was preparing to drive away salesman came back and asked if I still wanted the rest drive, I replied no. So he just went back inside. I don't know if I would gave received better customer service if I had not been a minority female. All money spends the same despite skin color. If this dealership was giving cars away I would NOT patronize it. Very very POOR customer service.

Royal Toyota staff was willing to deal. Shopped for a Rav4 electronically and this dealership (Andy Long) did not hesitant to provide their best no-nonsense quote to me via email. Andy played no games and was forthright. Not too pushy. Their price quote ended up being the lowest and they went out of their way to do a deal with me. Dealt entirely with Andy Long via email and in the end via phone.Everything was as discussed at delivery. Delivery of the car was fast and smooth. No hiccups or other surprises in the finance office. Everyone I dealt with appeared to have high character.I feel strongly I got a fair deal and I was treated well. I would not hesitant to try and deal with them. They like to move cars off their lot.

My car was in the repair center unfortunately, but the young man there was wonderful from the start. He was friendly, organized, and completed his inspection quickly and efficiently and then assisted me to get a rental car through the other person's insurance company. I was out quickly and very happy. When the work on my car was completed, I was unable to pick it up due to a surgical procedure. They were happy to wait until my son could get there, inspect the repairs, and bring it home for me. Definitely great service!

We were there for almost 2 hours after we were told it would take an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes. They said they washed the car, but didn't, and I asked them to check on any recalls and there wasn't any word about that when all was done. Then, the Customer Relations Manager sends an email out saying we might get a survey and if we can't give them truly exceptional satisfaction scores, notify him right away. So I responded to his email about this experience. That was on Dec. 26. Still no response. Received no survey either. I guess this is the way they receive 'Reader's Choice' Awards. Shove the bad ones under the rug. I owned 2 Toyota's. I recently traded one for a Nissan and looks like when the other one is ready to be traded, it will be something else also. But hey, guess they don't care.

Two thumbs up for competence, friendliness, and integrity. I had a recall for my spare tire mechanism. When I left that day the men in the service dept not only had agreed to replace that part but the whole frame as well. They gave me a loaner and when I picked up my truck it was as if I had a brand new vehicle. I brought it back twice and they fixed the problem without charge both times. I highly recommend this dealership.

Royal's reputation for service was quite poor when I purchased my Toyota in 2001; however, I did have a relationship with their sales managerBrian. He assured me that they were providing new, better, quality service. He was right particularly at first. The service was great as was the customer service. Obviously I've had my car quite a long time due in part to the good service and we drive it about 9,000 miles a year. I think total mileage right now is about 105,000. Lately, the last couple of visits, customer service, and friendliness has dropped off causing me to reduce my rating a bit. As far as I know, the work quality is good, but when one thing drops off, you begin to wonder about others.

I have taken my 2006 Toyota Avalon Limited to this dealer for service since its the only one within about 50 miles. First time they shorted me a quart of oil only to find out they didn't know it held 6 quarts in this car. Over the years it was dirty finger prints on the hood or door after an oil change and then a big dirty foot print left on the drivers side carpet. The service manager took car of that himself. Now the latest was the cabin air filter needed replacement and the tech left dirty hand prints on the glove box door along with a noise in the fan motor when its on high that wasn't there before. They also cleaned the battery terminals and left acid all over the left side of my engine. I called the next day and told the service writer what had happened and he said to bring it in and they would look at it. I get a call from Chris the service manager telling me not to come back as they don't need my business. I called the Toyota company line and file a complaint and I should have saved my breath. I thought I would give them one last chance and called to talk to the dealer ship manager and he was out on Fridays. I did talk to a Brian Fiegle and he says to give him a few days and bring it in and he would take care of it personally. Never got another call telling me to come in and I think others should know how they treat a customer over 7 years of time.

They fit me in quickly even without advance appointments, they provide accurate time estimates on service, are friendly, fast, and always take time to go over everything they have done, and future work needed or various options. First of all I was not interested in the Toyota cars I went to the Mazda dealer next to Toyota and I looked at the Mazda 6 because of the great review I saw at consumer reports about this car, so I called and went over to look at the car the sales man was very kind and very honest I took pictures of the car and went back home, the following day I returned back to Royal Mazda and I got in the car and what I was looking for was a car with a lot of front leg room well I was disappointed the car was cramped and I did not have enough leg room so I told the Sales men and he referred me to the Toyota Dealer next to them Royal South Toyota he recommended a sales person he called Toyota and it was his day off so he said there is another sales person who is just as good and not pushy and that person was Lance I went in to speak with Lance and he showed me several options used and new my first idea I wanted to get a used Toyota Camry so I test drove one and It was ok but Lance and I went over the options New VS used and so I decided I wanted to Lease a new car because of the payments, this seemed to be the better option for me at this time, I had to keep my car payments within a certain amount so Lance worked up a great deal for me but I had to wait I did not have all of the money I wanted to put down for the payment. One and a half Months later I had raised enough money to get the car so I had decide to buy a Toyota Corolla White with Tan Interior I test drove the base model it was OK and I was looking for something more I tried the step up the LE and I liked it much better sun roof you know all of the stuff I was interested in. So they made a dealer trade and got the actual car in I wanted, now there is a funny twist in this story the weekend I was all set to go in a get the car I called Lance and said Lance are you ready for a shock he said what is it? I said I am sorry Lance but I have decided to purchase the car instead of leasing because of Toyota was offering .0% with or 1000 Dollars back to you when you buy this car, I could not pass this up I asked Lance to work up this deal for me and he did and I had already done my home work with Consumer Reports what would be a good deal and I told him what I was willing to pay well Lance not only did this but I got a supper deal I could not pass up HO HO so lance said he would get the car ready for me to pick up that afternoon, later on that afternoon I called Lance and said I am ready to come in sign the paper work and pick up the car he said well they sold your car the weekend he was off and did not know I stuttered and thought he was joking with me, of course I said Lanced you are kidding me and he said I am sorry but he reassured me that they would find another car and they did wow they did all right I drove it and it was even better than the one I was going to get I could not believe it was great! The ride was smoother the seat was more comfortable I just loved it and I am so thankful and I will say this I cannot leave out God because I Did pray about this before I started with this whole process that all things would work out and it did thanks be to God and all of the people he put me touch with. So the bottom line is if you are looking for a great deal kind courteous people the whole staff at Royal South are great I know you see I like to meet people and I did get to meet most of the staff at Royal South so get over to Royal South Toyota and see Lance he will set you up with a great deal and tell him Tom sent you Thank Royal South Toyota and all of the Staff Sincerely, Tom

I have had more than one experience with this Dealership--in service and purchasing a new car and they have always been so friendly, informative and would go out of their way to be certain that my experience was positive. They on this service call were up front with the time expectation and they came in well under that time line which delighted me. The pricing was under what an Indianapolis deal quoted but more than anything it is just the WAY that everyone treated me. I switched from another dealer a few years ago and I've been so very pleased. Decades ago I wasn't wild about them when I was car-shopping (in the mid 1990s). I cannot tell you how pleasantly surprised I am with how superb they are today. Here are examples: They are (1) very prompt, (2) willing to explain everything, (3) provide comfortable wait facility with healthy snack, (4) or a free taxi, (5) helpful in every way, (6) easy and friendly to deal with. Early on I had one complaint, told Mark who told me they were working on it, and it never happened again. I'm even more impressed when I see they took me serious, demonstrated that they strive toward being better, and are effective in making improvements.

I wish they had a negative star rating. After looking at 30+ pictures online, reviewing the 1 owner clean car fax, and speaking with the salesman on the phone he assured me the vehicle was in VERY CLEAN condition, his words were "Immaculate" and well worth the trip to see it. And provided all the service records available to review. So after reaching a preliminary deal over the phone I decided to drive the 150+ miles to this particular ROYAL SOUTH TOYOTA dealership. BIGGEST MISTAKE AND WASTE OF TIME EVER SPENT SHOPPING for a vehicle. This dealer completely misrepresented the quality and condition of this vehicle. Taking every picture they could that didn't show a single flaw on the vehicle, fancy photography, lighting tricks to block obvious scratches that would turn away most buyers. Once I arrived, it became clear that this vehicle was not as advertised. dog hair all over the car, a whole in the front passenger door that was not shown in the pictures, the headliner looked like 2 dogs fought on top of it, carpet was stained, missing floor mats. The exterior was in no better shape, multiple large scratches and groups of scratches, some through the paint and had began to rust but had been cheaply touched up. The frame was completely rusted, the skid plate had rusted through. So after sighting multiple spots on the exterior the salesman offered to have the SUV wet sanded and buffed, but still wanted more than $500 over "CLEAN" retail. and would not come down. This is a Shady Dealership, with crooked salesman. BUYER BEWARE. I did plenty of my homework on this vehicle, and and took every precaution to avoid this type of issue. This salesman and this dealership tried to specifically hide all defects in this vehicle to draw me in and try to get me to buy. This place will never see a dime from me. and I'm telling everyone I know to stay away.

Hello, I have never bought a car from a car dealership before. This was not the lack of trying; it is more the lack of trusting. I have several friends who had dealt with Royal Nissan East in Bloomington and have always been very satisfied, so when I started looking for a new Toyota, I started looking at Royal South's website. When I found a couple I was interested in, I started dealing with Lance Deaton. I was very impressed with is helpful but not pushy attitude. He was prompt in answering my questions and never once pushed me to something I did not want. Which in my past experiences with car salesman has always been the case? Mr. Deaton was a breath of fresh air and made my experience in buying my car very enjoyable.When my daughter was looking for a good used car, I made no hesitation in calling Lance and asking him for his help. I am happy to report that within a month, Lance found my daughter a car. The day that we drove down to Royal to look at the car from my daughter, I needed an oil change and service on my car. When Lance greeted us, I told him what my needs were and he took care of everything from that point on. My daughter and I went for a test drive and by the time we got back, my car was finished and the bill was waiting for me at Lances desk. Customer Service at its best! I recently had a routine service (oil change, etc.) and the service agent noticed that my brake pedal had a lot of play and had the technician check the pad wear. The front pads were about 80% gone, so I purchased the pads and went home to change them myself. I put the pads on the driver-side with no problem, but couldn't get the passenger side to go. I called the service department manager and explained my problem and he told me to bring it in the next morning. I was first in line when they opened and the manager had a technician look at the caliper, found a stuck pin, lubercated it, and replaced the worn pads in just a matter of minutes. The service agent came to the waiting room and gave me my keys and said it was complementary. I would highly recommend this service department to anyone.

Bought my 2007 Camry there. Very satisfied with the car and friendly service. Royal South provides a free manicurist on Tuesdays. Last time there, service was quicker than predicted and I had my nails polished while waiting. Occasionally the service dept has checked minor things regarding my car and not charged me.

We were in search of a new vehicle. We had previously been to 3 different dealerships, and no other dealership had the used selection that Royal South Toyota in Bloomington did. We found 3 vehicles that we really liked, and were able to test drive the vehicle without the sales rep riding with us. I like this option, because it allows you to really check out everything in the vehicle. In past experiences, the sales rep would move you along quickly not letting you fully check out the vehicle. After we found a vehicle that was a perfect fit for our family, we sat down and discussed our options. Jeremy Sassatelli was out main point of contact, and he understood our need for a new family vehicle. I was stressed as the main of the household to provide reliable transportation for my family. Jeremy bent over backwards to ensure that all avenues were thrown into the mix to give us the best chance. Jeremy even took the time on his day off to contact me, and update me on what needed to be done to get through this process. There isn't any dealership within the surrounding states that provides as good as service as this dealership. I would highly recommend it, and they take all the stress out of buying a vehicle.

My wife and I went to Royal South to look at Toyotas. We had been considering buying a new car for several months and had been looking at several different dealers. We had no intention of making a purchase that day. Jeremy met us on the lot and showed us several different models that they had. We saw the Venza and decided to look at it. Jeremy took us for a test drive answering all of our many questions and helped us compare this car to other models on the lot. Jeremy gave a very good deal; one that I knew would not be beaten by any other dealer. So we ended up buying the Venza, which we love, and was given a very fair price and financing by the staff at Royal South. Jeremy made the car buying very pleasant, not what I was use to in the past. I would recommend Jeremy and Royal South to anybody looking for a car.

We brought our 2008 Prius for an oil change. We had checked by phone on the price of an "all snythetic" oil change. We were told you could do this and the cost would be $40. When I arrived, I was told that the correct weight of synthetic oil for this car would cost about $55. After some discussion we agreed on the cost and which oil to use. It was then suggested the car needed the 30,000 mile, $159 service. I declined. After looking at the tires, I was told the front passenger tire needed to be replaced. After looking at the underside of the car, the mechanic informed me that there had been damage to the oil pan, suggesting that this should be repaired. I declined to find out the cost of this. We had a detailed inspection of the car at a Toyota dealer at the time we bought it through an individual. They had found the car in excellent condition. I understand that you need to inform customers about upkeep of the car, but this seemed to be excessive. I came in for a simple oil change and felt much pressure to spend more money.

I traveled from Indianapolis to Bloomington to see a Toyota 4 Runner that I had found online. It was well worth the trip. I was very comfortable with Jeremy Sassatelli and didn't feel pressured to make the big purchase. The gentlemen (Kent?) who helped me with the financing was great explaining the way everything was going to work and what my next steps were. The car that we purchased from Royal on the South Side had some problems that needed to be addressed and the Service Department - Seth, in particular - went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. They did a great job and we were very pleased with our experience.

Very good customer service. Been buying cars for 50 years and this dealer reminds me of the "good old days" dealer/customer relationship. They priced the vehicle fairly, made sure it was inspected and any corrected any problems before offering it for sale. I drove 175 miles to see this vehicle and would do it again.

Dave Dove and Royal South Toyota were absolutely wonderful to do business with. Dave made the car buying process most pleasant. Although he definitley wanted our business, he wasn't pushy and definitely took the time to answer questions and to provide any information we needed to make a final decision. Dave offered a price on a new vehicle that surpassed what we could get at other dealerships we had considered. Dave also arranged an outstanding financing package that far exceeded what we were expecting and what we were able to get at other dealers. Indeed, we were very pleased and would recommend Dave Dove and Royal South Toyota to anyone. We really couldn't have been taken care of any better.

I brought in an aging 1994 Toyota pickup truck nearing 100,000 miles for an oil change. The staff advised me that the truck was due for a full inspection. After the inspection, they recommended work on the fuel induction system and the four-wheel drive. They explained both the reason for this work and its estimated price in detail. We gave the go ahead, and the service was superb. The mechanic said that I would notice the difference immediately, and he was right. The truck now has almost the same the pep that it had when it was brand new, and the increased traction of the four-wheel was obvious when I had the chance to drive it through the first snow of the season a few days later. To make matters even better, the price for the service came in nearly $100 less than the original estimate!We have been bringing our truck to the Royal South service department since we purchased it new almost 20 years ago. The regular maintenance and service that we have received there is a big reason that it continues to be reliable and fun to drive. We have never had a complaint in all this time, and the truck and the service provided by Royal are among the best investments we have ever made.

We've been doing business with Royal since we bought our first Prius in spring of 2005. Since then, we've bought two more Prii, one in November 2006 and another in spring 2010. Royal does all the service on all three cars. We've been thoroughly pleased with the service. The cars run great and the staff at Royal (both sales and service) are uniformly pleasant, fair, and capable. My husband and I recommend Royal enthusiastically and without reservation. It's a great place!

We have bought 3 Camry's...in the Seattle/Bellevue area. (That's why the car's underbody is SOOO CLEAN...no salt). And we have had Avon's Any Mohr care for our car here as well. We have come to appreciate the friendly, informed greeting and service at the Toyota "stores". AND I love being able to take our German Short-haired Pointer inside the waiting room with me....she loves the attention and I appreciate the socialization for her...Being 1 1/2 yrs old she needs that.

I recently had some work done on my vehicle that required a special part be ordered. I understand most dealerships dont stock all parts for cars so I was fine with this. The main reason that I decided to write a review on this dealership is because I was going to be without my car for a few days and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that Royal south had a ver reasonably priced rental car service in house. This made picking up my rental car and dropping it off when I was finished very smooth and hassle free. Thanks Royal!

I visited Royal South Toyota for a check engine light on my Toyota Corolla. I dealt with Justin in their service department and he was extremely friendly. I informed them I was going to be late for a class and that I was on a tight schedule so they had their shuttle van take me to and pick me up from class while they ran some tests to see what was causing my check engine light to come on. This was overall a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

I searched for a used car on AutoTrader and submitted an inquiry via e-mail and was promptly contacted by Greg Martz. We made arrangements for me to travel down to Bloomington to check out the used Toyota that I had seen on the internet. When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly member of their sales staff and was directed to Greg's desk. The vehicle that I was originally coming to look at was cleaned and waiting for me to test drive. The car was as described on their website and ran great, but I wasn't thrilled that the car had cloth interior. We sat down and went over options to get leather put in the car, I didn't even know you could do that!! I usually dread the financing process when I'm being sold warranties. Scott, the finance manager, was very friendly and personable and led us through a no-pressure finance process. My only complaint is that I live in Indy and can't take advantage of the free car washes I was offered on Saturdays. All-in-all I had a great experience at Royal South and have been recommending them to all of my friends and family.

The service department at this dealership is a real joke, had a part replaced on my Tacoma in 2008 regarding the seat belt airbag light in the dash. Was told the fix was going to cost 450.00. Had the truck repaired and here in 2009 and 3000 miles later they want to replace the items again for another 450.00. The service department told me they were going to cover the cost with a warranty, they called my wife and told her the same thing, when I went to get the truck, the part was not installed and they had no intentions of fixing the truck untill I paid the 450.00. I get the impression the parts were never installed in the first fix, reason to believe a new part would last longer than 3000 miles. A really really bad taste in my mouth about this deaership and the service people (WINSLOW). Numerous trips to the dealership and phone calls to them to check on the truck and left the truck on the lot for a full week to get treated like this is not a way to run a business.

In 2004 we purchased a new Toyota Sienna from this dealership. Although I find purchasing cars a general pain. This dealership I felt dealt with us honestly. Reading reviews of dealerships it is mentioned in several reviews that women are talked down to or kind of ignored. This was not the case. My wife felt very much a part of the buying process. They would get five stars except for recall thing. There was something that had to be done to a back seat belt. I made an appointment. Went in. They had me waiting for like 2 hours. I would go up to the service desk to find out when and they would say a little while longer. Finally they came out and said they didn't have the part. They said they would order it and call us when it came in. They did and it was all of 10 minutes to install.

They don't honor their waiting list for in-demand vehicles. I called and expressed interest in buying a Prius. They "were in a sticky situation and only had one," which they would sell me immediately. Otherwise, I would be on a "four-month" waiting list (which already had 13 people). I asked why the available car wasn't going to the next person on the waiting list--after a while, the salesman admitted that they were trying to make an extra sale because the people on the list "expected to wait." They did sell it that day, and not to any of those customers who'd put down a $500 deposit to be on the list.Incidentally, the waiting period should only be 8-10 weeks and the salesman was a rude jerk.

I purchased a new Volvo from Royal and they wanted a deposit on the car as it was not in stock yet. This was fine with me except when I went to put the deposit down on my credit card they informed me that they would charge a 2% credit card charge that was non refundable. When I questioned why this was, they said that they would get charged by the credit company, and that they were not making that much on the sale. Did I mention that I was paying cash (45,000) and sticker price for the car! I told them that I thought this was illegal (which I later confirmed with the credit company) and they said it was not up to the credit company that it was their policy. So not only was I paying full sticker price, they thought they should make an extra 60 dollars on the sale. I also was recently told that I needed to have a 30,000 mile checkup that would cost 650 dollars. When I contacted another dealership they were flabbergasted at the 650 cost, they charge 350. Talk about good customer service. These guys are why people are reluctant to trust dealerships. Think twice about doing business with the Royal group!
