I came to this dealership on a whim and am very glad I did, I saw Ray outsideand we had spoken numerously before when we both had Challengers. He was very straight up and honest with me so I am unsure why I didnt purchase from him before. He showed me all his 1500's and I fell in love with a Stinger Yellow. He made the trade in, purchase and buying experience a pleasure. They gave me a thousand more for my trade in than Carmax as well as a great price on the 1500. CJ in finance was also great. Will definitely be purchasing from Ray in the future!

This is my second Jeep purchase from Safford, though I have dealt with many dealerships. These guys treat you with respect, do not try to pressure you or shoehorn you into whatever they have on hand, and most importantly are straight up honest. At other dealerships I always feel they are trying to pull a fast one on me, Safford does not do that.

Dwight handed me off to Lori as soon as I got there and left. Lori babysat me while Mike checked out my trade-in and came up with his first of too-many "deals" - a low price for my trade-in and a 6 1/2% loan. I had been explicit in what I would do, but Mike had to play his game, which took several hours. At one point (about an hour after that first, ridiculously high "deal"), he came back with a 5 1/2% offer and said he made some calls to get more out of my trade-in. Well, why didn't he make that call right away? He had to play his game. In retrospect, I should have walked away right then. His last attempt took another hour or so and was 4 1/2% and he dropped some "fees". When I refused that offer he disappeared again for a while. Then he comes back and sits down with a good-old-boy attitude like he's doing me a favor and wants to know why I'm being difficult. I know, I should have walked. Only after I told him his tactics weren't appreciated and that I would just wait and go to my credit union did he finally introduce me to John, the real finance guy. John quickly put a deal on the table that was very close to the original numbers I had requested from Mike. The bottom line is, this dealership played the game that most customers fear. You haggle with a middle man for a couple of hours while they try to wear you down and then bring in the real deal maker. I left in anger because of the time wasted to get the deal I wanted and because I fell into the trap. I now realize I should walked out the door after the first hour. Buying a car can be stressful in it's own right. Consumers shouldn't be treated to old school, time-wasting, beat down treatment when they can get a vehicle at a good price without the games. I will not let that happen to me again.

This was the best buying experience that I have had in years. No pressure from anyone and the manager was more interested in if I was having a good experience than if I was buying a vehicle. I took a few days to make a decision and the salesman never bugged me at all. Very refreshing and not what I am used to. I have been back to the dealer several times since my purchase and I have been impressed with how friendly everyone is and that the manager has greeted me each and every time I have been there. By far my best car buying experience. A+++ Totally relaxed experience. The entire staff is super friendly and well informed on various makes and models. Safford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Warrenton rocks! What a refreshing experience. I am so glad I went 30 miles out of my way to buy my Jeep for Safford. I live in northern Fairfax ( Great Falls ). The one hour ride was so well worth it. My super sales consultant, Lori Hertig took care of me. During the last snow storm a F250 pickup truck spun out of control and destroyed my custom ordered Jeep Grand Cherokee. I contacted a dozen Jeep dealers around me ( around Tysons Corner and Fairfax ) to see if they had a replacement. The only dealer / person who responded back to me with real matches was Lori Hertig of Safford Warrenton. She is a super knowledgeable and friendly sales consultant. She listens carefully, and came back with precise information. Within a 24 hour period, Lori found me several choices. Moreover, the prices were simple to understand, upfront, and competitive. Within a day Lori Hertig and John Stapleton ( Dir. of Finance ) had me back in a beautiful 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, V8 Hemi, off-road package. Pretty much identical match to my previous car. The other dealers told me I would have to wait 8 to 10 weeks to order that configuration.Safford has the best inventory. Cars galore.I've worked in both big fortune 500 companies, small startups, and consulted to businesses. Safford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is a model of what a dealerships should be. Aside from the totally modern aesthetics, friendly and knowledgable staff, clean facilities, and enormous inventory, they have clearly addressed all those negative experiences and "vibes" we all have when dealing with the legacy model. Safford is more like Carmax or other innovative dealerships who are redefining the car buying experience. Even the paperwork is all electronic. Once we finalized our choice of vehicle, the transaction itself took about one hour. We were in and out. Very professional, knowledgable, friendly, and low key. I was searching for vehicles through USAA and when I clicked submit on the page, 5 seconds later Safford called and asked how they could help us, I was blown away. Once we arrived, they people at the dealership were exceptionally nice and courteous and we never got the "Hard Sell" were dealers make you feel guilty or uncomfortable. After we picked out a vehicle from one of their other locations, they found that a technician drained the battery at that location, Sam bent over backwards to find us another suitable vehicle. Sam found one at their Fredericksburg location and drove us to the dealership to pick up our new car.. Not only that, but I had left my phone in his vehicle and he went out of his way to bring it back to me, needless to say, with a smile on his face.. I would like to give the whole dealership a big congratulations for changing my view of car salesmen...

Wanted to make my purchase at Safford/Warrenton based on a very good experience when my wife purchased a new Cherokee there last year from Sam Mingle (who recognized her when we walked in), but not necessarily at the cost of a better deal elsewhere. Not to worry -- used a buying service, and Safford/Warrenton came out as the best deal anyway. That was pretty affirming of my initial inclination. As a Wrangler owner I also really appreciate that they "get" and support the unique Jeep (especially Wrangler) lifestyle. Not just lip service, either - they support the local Jeep club, and stand ready to help with customization that can be a Wrangler owner's obsession. Very nice that John Stapleton in finance (another Wrangler driver!) tailored his presentation to our lifestyle (he remembered from the earlier purchase), saving us time and potential angst as a result. This place has the "old school" family atmosphere that encourages a long-term relationship with their customers, not just one more sale toward a monthly quota and done. Went to dealership just wanting to look at the 2016 Dodge Durango. Had been to other dealerships who did not have the vehicle equipped as we were looking for and who seemed reluctant to order what we wanted. This dealership had a vehicle with the equipment we wanted, but not the color, so they very willing ordered exactly what we wanted. They did not try to sell us a vehicle that they had in stock. We were more than pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Tony (General Sales Manager) met us upon arrival and turned us over to Mark, who was an absolutely superb salesman. It was raining, and they had the car in the service bay for our initial orientation. Mark was knowledgeable, eminently professional and a pleasure to work with. My wife and I both were afforded a test drive, and all our questions were answered completely and correctly. The paperwork drill was as painless as possible, to include the final financial work with John. We spent more time at the dealership than we really needed to because it was such a great experience. All the staff members we dealt with were pleasant and fun, and the facilities were top notch. We also are VERY pleased with the vehicle. I cannot recommend this dealership highly enough; it's absolutely worth the drive from wherever you're coming from.

I went to this store as I have been looking into buying a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. They had the perfect 2015 used shockingly on the lot. Well let me tell you after driving down to the store which mind you is almost 70 miles from my house I have my new Jeep. They did a great job not only helping me make the right choice in sticking with buying the Certified Used Jeep, but also did an amazing job getting me in and out on a holiday weekend when I had my 2 young kids with me and the wife. The sales team made sure I knew the Jeep I was buying and pros and cons of the one I bought and the next level up. I took their advice and love the Jeep already. In addition they hooked me up with a killer finance deal that ended up beating my USAA deal I walked in with and was ready to use. They made signing the dreaded paperwork a breeze with some crazy modern day tech with the finance guy. I was very happy to be able to get what I needed and didn't feel any pressure at all from anyone from the sales guys all the way to the sales managers, and of course the finance guy who's job it was to try and get me to buy all the warranty stuff.I would go back to buy another Jeep and was also impressed that the GM of the store personally thanked me for taking the time to come all the way to their store when I have a lot of Jeep stores closer to me. My husband and I were so excited to go shopping. We had previously purchased 2 vehicles at this dealership (not the best experiences, but close to home). This time we had the Internet price and went to the lot. They didn't have the car on THAT lot and that wasn't even the vaildia price for US. Why? Because it is based on ALL rebates which almost nobody would qualify for ALL. Active military, graduated within one year of college or grad school, having a trade in, loyalty discounts, etc. When asking the price we were informed that management could explain it to us inside for a vehicle that we couldn't even see since it wasn't even there. I can understand, I understand it seems like bait and switch. I teach marketing classes and I get it, but the whole process seemed unethical. We drove and extra 20 miles and got a great deal at Chrysler of Culpeper for our 2015 Dodge.

My husband purchased a 2015 Durango from Stafford of Warrenton and the experience was awesome. His sales consultant was Rick Poland. Rick went out of his way to find the SUV for my husband, who has very high demands. When it was time for the financing, John Stapleton went the extra mile to find a better deal then the one we came with. We already had financing, but Jonh's expertise saved us thousands of dollars with a better financing package than the one we cane with.my son bought a Jeep SUV in January/February and Rick helped him as well. The experience we had was wonderful. We didn't have to spend hours pouring over thus and that per vehicle and walk away disappointed. We came in Friday night and went over what we wanted, then Saturday we picked up the vehicle due to the vehicle was at another dealership. Excellent service, wonderful people, Professional employees. Please read the following review I posted last month. All facts remain the same with the exception that upon filing this review on line and getting the General Manager involved a very amicable resolution was obtained. It took far to long with far to many challenges and time for the customer but in the end they were fair and so far the A/C is still operational. Jim is fair and wants to ensure a high level of service but can only resolve what he is informed of. In the last 30K miles Safford has installed 6 A/C compressors. Two failed on the drive away from the dealer, two others failed in less than a year and were not covered under warranty since my mileage exceeded 12K. I spent hours and hours dealing with Ram corporate customer service and they were able to reimburse me for some expenses. Currently been at the dealer for over 7 days for another compressor replacement. 10 months and 14K miles. I replaced the compressor at the dealers suggestion with a re-manufactured compressor from a non OEM vendor for higher quality and longer warranty. Well I now find out that since it failed again the warranty will not be available on the replacement unless the low pressure and liquid line are also replaced to ensure no debris in system. This makes sense. Other than 10 months ago when they installed the compressor that failed they did not replace those lines and I had to return due to not functioning immediately after picking up the truck. The Service director said that he was sorry and then discovered that the lines were clogged and they were replaced and I paid for the parts since labor should have been included initially. Well Well Well, imagine the compressor not lasting a year due to it pumping debris until so clogged would not work. So I receive a call from them, no warranty coverage on labor and none on parts other than the compressor. $1250.00. I consult specific to the automotive industry in best practices and customer service. A dealer has a minimum of 70-75% gross profit on labor and over 40% gross profit on parts. Why would the dealer not look at the crazy circumstances of so many errors that have nothing to do with the consumer and make a consideration on adjusting the labor or parts. I feel it should be free since they are the ones that failed to perform the repairs correctly causing the compressor to fail. But even if not for free how could a writer make a call to a customer and quote full $115 per hour and parts at retail list plus. To understand what this facilities culture is. I called on Monday, 3 days after my vehicle arrived for a scheduled appointment to get a status. Yes you read correctly. 3 business days to diagnose challenge. Now of course they did not call before parts cut off so part they need not arrive until Wednesday. I called service director, was on hold and he was interrupted by customer and I placed a message on Monday evening. It is now Friday and I have not received any communication. No return call on Tuesday. No call on Wednesday saying that part arrived, No call on Thursday saying sorry we are a day late and now Friday and no call. If I were providing consulting services to this organization this example and ones I have read here clearly show a culture of service that is poor and the QC process is non existent.

We had the pleasure of working with Sam, Tony and JC at Safford. I found a used truck online that I was interested in. Sam was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and very friendly. After a long and frankly draining negotiating period we worked with JC. The technology at Safford was fantastic and made signing the contract and paperwork a breeze.I rated my experience average because it was a typical experience with a dealership. I expected there to be some negotiating - however it took Tony 2 hours to wrap up a deal for us. We were very open with where we needed to be on our trade in and what we though a fair price for the vehicle was. Tony was very friendly and knowledgeable, however we received his "best" offer 5 times. 3 times we tried to leave because the numbers didn't work for us. Somehow the best offer kept getting better. When presented with financing options we were given a sheet with a 4.3 rate on it and told that it was a very good rate. 20 seconds later here comes a sheet with a 3.09 rate on it. AMAZING. I found that process to be very frustrating and tiresome.I would recommend this dealership to anyone I know because everyone there was very kind and a pleasure to work with. However I would tell them that the "best" offer the dealership would make seemingly gets better and better.

Pleasantries having been exchanged, we were introduced to Ken Lassiter who would spend several pressure-free hours helping us determine the right model and option package that would suit our needs and budget. It is obvious that Ken truly enjoys what he does as he demonstrated expert, reality-based knowledge of both his product and his competition. Impressively, Ken was able to provide quantifiable information on which we were able to base our decision - not just marketing hype or propaganda, which is quickly and easily countered with a quick google search from the showroom floor. This saved us a tremendous amount of time and headaches as he had basically done our research for us. Having selected our vehicle, a 2015 Ram 1500 Eco-Diesel Crew Cab, Tony Nardelli and JC Croft came through with flying colors and helped us cross the finish line and leave in a different vehicle than the one we arrived in (as has happened before). In my experience, having purchased more vehicles than what most would consider prudent, this team stands head and shoulders above the rest. Usually, the sales guy works hard to get you to become emotionally invested in the vehicle, then the manager will come by and present the "foursquare", lowball your trade and perform a hard close on a "deal" that promises to significantly increase your cost, out of pocket expenses and ultimatley divest you of your wallet and insult your intelligence. That's before getting to the F&I guy who then tries his best to separate you from whatever change you have left. This is where Tony, JC and Ken differ. By not only listening to, but HEARING what their customer's needs, lifestyle, trade and budgetary considerations are, they take a proactive, consultative approach and as has been our experience with these gentlemen, present a proposal that meets every single criteria that we were seeking while also pointing out other benefits that we hadn't even considered. They do not shy away from the negatives either, which is rare, but instills an element of trust. No hard closes, no foursquare, no extended back and forth, no lowballing, no pressure and no scotchguard or undercoating pitches.. Only a realistic demonstration of the purchase figures combined with respect, sincerity and professionalism. This team demonstrates their understanding that "people buy from people", that today's customers are far more informed than in years past and insulting their intelligence will not bring them back for a 2nd or 5th time. Driving three hours to look at a vehicle was not out of the way in my opinion, considering the research I had done and saw that Safford had what I had been searching for. The truck was very nice (Dakota) and the price was fair, which I was only able to negotiate down a little since the Internet Price was already lower than KBB. I felt I received a fair deal and it was a nice ride. A week later however, I realized my new ride didn't have the tow capacity I thought and called my original salesman, Sam Mingle, who understood my situation and worked to find me a truck that would fit my needs better. Not sure if this is an hugely unusual situation, but the Safford Team worked with me to trade back one for the other and I could not be happier with my new wheels (RAM). I'm sure another dealership may have said "sorry, the deal is done", but Safford was most helpful making sure I ended up with something better suited to my needs, and I drove off with something nicer than I ever imagined - most important to me was that this was done without any pressure. I'd certainly refer Safford of Warrenton to anyone at any time. My next step will be to buy an RV, which I'll now feel very safe and comfortable towing with the Ram. I'll be sure to look around at Safford RV and hope that I'll have another great Shopping Experience.

From the moment I found my new Jeep Cherokee on line at the Safford Dealership in Warrenton, to the time I signed on the dotted line, this dealership was friendly, helpful, and efficient. When I gave my contact information Dwight called immediately. I let him know I was on my way to see a specific car and he and Sam made sure it was ready (heated seats and all) for me to test drive. Tony worked with me to get to the price I was willing to pay. John shared but didn't push me towards extras and had me out the door in minimum time in the midst of a snowstorm. They even fed my husband and me lunch, They thanked my husband for his military service. My husband came with me but I was buying the car. Everyone treated me as such and all financial decisions were explained to me. Tony gave us time to talk in private so we could made our decision to buy together. Sam took a picture of me with my new car and made sure we understood how to operate all the equipment necessary to get home in a snowstorm. I would rate this as the top buying experience I have every had purchasing a car!

If you live in Prince William County or any other county that requires an emissions test, I would not recommend buying a car from this dealership. Three weeks after purchasing a vehicle, I receive a phone call from JC in their finance department telling me he never received my down payment for the vehicle I purchased. I distinctly remember giving him my credit card and him having it for quite a while. He even left the office for an extended period of time, which made me think he must have ran my credit card at some point. I checked my credit card statement while on the phone with him, and come to find out he never he even ran the card. Its amazing that the company was willing to let someone leave the dealership with paying a sizable down payment. After I checked my statement, I immediately gave him the credit card information so he could process the payment. I was very cooperative, as I'm sure other people in my situation would have probably played hardball at that point. I also asked JC as to when my permanent tags would be ready as I had not received them yet, and it had been 3 weeks. Fifteen minutes later, JC called me back again and told me that they never ran an emissions test on the vehicle and that I now had to get one done before I could get my tags. With less than a week to spare on my temporary tag, and being out of town that last week, there was nothing I could do. JC said to me Yeah I guess I forgot to tell you to do that. Thanks JC, I appreciate that. This meant that I had to get the vehicle back home to quickly an emissions test done so we could get the permanent tags as soon as possible before the temporary ones expire. I was under the impression that all dealerships had to run an emissions test on their vehicles, but apparently that is only the case for certain counties in Virginia. My sales rep Bob called me later that evening and said the dealership does not run emissions tests on used vehicles because it is not required in Fauquier County. Regardless, anybody who lives in a county such as Prince William, Fairfax, Arlington or Loudoun Counties should probably not buy from this dealership as they do not run emissions test on used vehicles, according to my sales rep Bob. For all you know, there could be something severely wrong with the vehicles emissions output and you nor the dealership would know. You would think that this is something that would be checked on regardless of whether it is required in the county or not. I even emailed the General Manager Kevin Myers at Safford Warrenton about his Finance Manager JCs inability to run the down payment for 3 weeks as well as not telling me that I had to get an emissions test done until a week before my temporary tags expired. I never received an email response nor a phone call back. I guess it was not a priority of his that his Finance Manager forgets to run down payments and fails to tell his customers that they are responsible for obtaining the emissions test and not the dealership. Bob was a great sales rep and the vehicle I purchased was excellent, but my experience with the Finance department was abhorrent and the GMs lack of care about the situation is a bit unsettling.

I even emailed the General Manager Kevin Myers at Safford Warrenton about his Finance Manager JCs inability to run the down payment for 3 weeks as well as not telling me that I had to get an emissions test done until a week before my temporary tags expired. I never received an email response nor a phone call back. I guess it was not a priority of his that his Finance Manager forgets to run down payments and fails to tell his customers that they are responsible for obtaining the emissions test and not the dealership.Bob was a great sales rep and the vehicle I purchased was excellent, but my experience with the Finance department was abhorrent and the GMs lack of care about the situation is a bit unsettling.

Our salesman, Ray Wood no matter the amount of time that has passed always remembers us and vehicles we are interested in. He is more of then a salesman he is a vehicle mentor and friend every time we are at the dealership. My husband has recommended him to every person he knows that has a Ram. Today we bought a used vehicle while our Ram was being serviced. Ray provides us a sense of truthfulness and assurance every single time. My wife and I were down to one car and we needed a minivan for our growing family. Lori at Safford of Warrenton was very helpful! She and I discussed our needs and target price without pressuring us into making a decision RIGHT NOW. She did some research and provided insight into the pros and cons of buying new vs certified vs used, sometimes following up on her own time. I recommend Lori without hesitation, and all of the other salespeople were equally friendly and low-pressure. I'm the sort of person who will walk away from a pushy salesperson and was always at ease in the dealership. We took one Caravan for a test drive after-hours and decided to wait another week. It turned out to be the right decision: we got the color, condition, and trim package we were hoping for, thanks to Lori's expertise. The only downside of our experience was that the final warranty and financing process took over two hours. For the prospective buyer: understand how dealer financing and warranties work before walking in!

We went to Safford to look for a Jeep but were a few weeks out from actually deciding if we were going to purchase. This delay in decision making is often met with aggressive sales tactics, but we experienced quite the opposite from Safford-specifically Lori. She respected our journey of due diligence and was incredibly helpful as we moved forward. The managers Tony and Brendan were awesome to work with too! Hi personality-low pressure. They actually believed that we were intelligent enough to make our own decisions about the purchase and provided honest talk-not pushy tactics. JC in the finance department was incredibly easy to work with too! He made navigating the aftermarket services and finance pain free. Everyone we encountered was sincerely willing to assist us and went out of their way to make the process low stress, informative and worry free. I would absolutely recommend Safford if you are in the market for any brand they sell. It should prove to be a refreshing experience as it relates to car buying.

Using the USAA buying service, I received quotes from three different Dodge dealerships for a 2014 Ram 1500 Crew Cab. I went to each dealership in order of quoted price. Safford was my last stop. I was met by Tony Nardelli who turned me over to Bill Hildebrandt. Bill and Tony were true gentlemen. I came prepared with a spreadsheet with specific VINs, installed options, MSRP, and discounts from each of the three dealerships. I was prepared with information from my own research, and with information gathered through talking to the other two dealerships. Bill took the time to listen to what I was looking for and without knowing how much research I had done before coming in pointed me to a truck that matched my preferences the best. When it came time to finalize on the price, Tony printed out a sheet that showed the USAA bargained price which included multiple discounts and compared it to the invoice price. Everything was out in the open and there were no surprises. While it wasn't the lowest price of the three dealers, it was the most honest price and experience. In comparison, one of the other salesman from a different dealership tried to sell me a comparable truck for $2000 higher than what it was listed for on their own internet site. I told Tony before I made the purchase, it's not all about the price. Who you buy from is equally important. Tony validated my opinion of him when it was discovered that the truck had an additional feature that was not originally listed on the window sticker. Tony said, he would honor the price he quoted rather than marking it up to include it. When the finance manager tried to add it back into the price while going through the paperwork, Tony corrected him and removed it. I heard the finance manager say under his breath, "I guess we're giving trucks away today." The culture at Safford seems to be focused more on customer satisfaction through trust, honesty, and integrity. They've earned my trust, and I'll be returning for my maintenance services and will make it my first stop on future vehicle purchases. On a final note, two days after my purchase, I received in the mail a hand written note from Bill, on a very nice card, thanking me for purchasing the truck from him. Two days after that, Bill sent me a gift card to a local restaurant. For some reason, he is not listed on the sales staff on this site, but I believe he's been working there for over 17 years. As I said before, he is a true gentleman and I give him and Tony my highest recommendation.

We stopped by minutes to closing on a Saturday. We were treated like we were the first customer of the day. Everyone was friendly and worked together as a team providing us with the information we requested. On Sunday, we went back and purchased a 2015 Jeep Wrangler. On our way home, we received a call from Tony Nardelli saying that another bank had responded to our request for financing, at lower rate. We went back to the dealership and redid the paperwork - saving us money. Not many dealership would have gone this extra step for the customer after the deal was sealed. I will recommend Safford of Warrenton to everyone!

I stopped in at Safford of Warrenton on my way to another dealership to see what was in the available inventory. I was met by Jim Cannon who was extremely helpful and professional. He helped to find a vehicle that would fit my needs and answered all of my questions. A vehicle was selected and Tony Nardelli stepped in to work on a sale price. Though we were initially a good deal apart on an agreed price, with Tonys dedication and hard work, we were then able to reach a deal we were both happy with. John Stapleton worked out all of the financial details and was extremely thorough and informative. While I didn't plan on purchasing a vehicle on that day, I am sure glad that I stopped in to Safford of Warrenton and couldn't be happier with my new jeep. Good job guys!

I'm not usually into writing reviews, however my horrible experience with the new car sales department of Safford of Warrenton has prompted me to do so. First of all, let me explain that this is no way a representation of the dealership as a whole, but targeted towards a few employees who happened to be working during the early hours of Sunday. Between my Father, Mother and myself, we have financed/leased 14 Chrysler vehicles from 2004-2014, and get $500 certificates annually from Chrysler to purchase another vehicle.My Dad who lives 300 miles north, asked me for his help in searching for a 2014 Ram he wanted to purchase. After searching the internet for what seemed to be a good deal, I contacted Lauran Martin (Internet Sales Manager) of Safford Chrysler Jeep Ram on Friday, and told her my Father was interested in a 2014 Ram 1500 they had available on their website. Lauran was very helpful up to this point, ensuring the truck was available. She told me it was at their Springfield location, and would have somebody bring it to Warrenton immediately. Everything sounded great, until I asked about trading in his current vehicle. After a few hours of going back and forth about options, miles, etc, I received a low amount (To be expected) at $18,000-$21,000. This price however, was sight-unseen, meaning they could not give an accurate amount due to not seeing the vehicle which is understandable. Lauran ensured me that bringing in the vehicle would assist in getting more for it. I again informed her that it would be a 600 mile round trip for my father, $100 in gas, and $90 in tolls.Lauran called me 6:00pm on Friday night and asked if we could arrive 2 hours later on Sunday because they couldn't retrieve the vehicle from the Springfield location until Sunday morning. My Dad drove down Sunday morning and we took the 30 mile trip from my home to Safford. As soon as I walked in I asked for Lauran and was told she does not work on Sunday, which she never advised me of. Mike Smith (Salesman) introduced himself and said he could help us through the process and that he would bring up all of our information Lauran and I talked about. As soon as we sat down he informed me that Lauran did not save any of the trade-in information and that he would need it all again. After about 30 minutes of trade-in paperwork, they took it for a ride and appraised it. Mike told us it wouldn't be long before they came up with a number. 1 hour and 15 minutes later, JC Croft (Sales & Finance Manager) informed us that he could not give us more than $18,000 for the trade (NADA lists the average trade-in at $23,850, retail at $29,000). After 10 minutes of trying to tell us that the trade would have to be wholesaled (Why a 2011 SUV couldn't sell in this market I have no idea) and that he could not find a buyer, we were basically told to go pound salt. Apparently making $11,000 on a trade is what they were looking for. Mind you, the SUV we were trading in only had 34,000 miles and was well taken care of. After being told there was nothing they could do we left 2 hours later (FYI: The Ram still hadn't arrived yet).Overall, this was a horrible experience and waste of time and money. I left feeling sad for my Father, who took the only day off he had this month to drive down in hopes of buying a new Ram. This dealership might not be the place to buy a vehicle if you have a trade-in, I can't say for just straight out buying a new vehicle. The internet sales department of Safford of Warrenton needs to re-evaluate their internet sales tactics.

I told David my needs in a car as well as a list of vehicles that I had found on their website. He went through each vehicle with me to narrow down the perfect match for my needs and budget. Barry was very informative and thorough as we were going through the paperwork and discussing different warranty programs that Safford offered. He answered each question I had and gave some great advice. Even though it was the very end of the night and past closing, I never felt rushed by any employee. They were all very cheerful and willing to help me any way they could.

So the wife decided she needed a new truck since her C3500 wasnt getting the job done. With 2 fords and a Chevy in the driveway we headed out for the dealer, expecting to stop and look at Fords and then Chevys. Dodge was not on our mind.We spent some time with the Ford sales rep, but I doubt he knew what a truck was, let alone how to sell one. We wasted an hours waiting for him to find a truck and answer questions with um, I dont know, lets look online. He never did find the truck. But he did try to show us a roller-skate kick-me mobile for sissies. What part of 15,000 lbs towing capacity didnt he understand?So off we go to the Chevy dealer, but right across the street was Safford Dodge. What the heck, cant be any worse than that Ford dealer, right?In we walk and there is Jeff meeting us at the door. Nice fellow and we hit it off right away. We make the introductions and tell him the wife wants a new truck. He asks the right questions and quickly discovers hes working with a woman that knows trucks. Around the lot we go and I even spot a 20 year old faded red F150 pickup. Turns out Jeff drives that to work at the Dodge dealer. Good man and secure. I might have bought that, but it was not for sale.So the wife takes the 2500 out for a drive and decides she likes it, but the 3500 looks even better. A short time later and shes the proud owner of a Hemi.Jeff did a great job and knows his products and services well. Further, he treats his customers right and took good care of my wife. Why do so many sales reps deal with the man when we told them the truck for was the wife? Silly. No Jeff. He knew who the customer was and treated her right. Further, me made the arrangements for the spray-in bed liner and gooseneck hitch in the bed. He even offered a custom trailer hookup in the bed to augment the hookup on the bumper. I never thought of that and it was greatly appreciated. Throughout the experience, Jeff was excellent and I highly recommend his services and Safford Dodge for anyones new vehicle needs.We never did make it to the Chevy dealer. No need.

Jeff Billak has sold me two cars in the past 3 months. Moved onto a mountain, and he knew what I needed! He was able to explain the differences between what my original choices were and why they weren't necessarily applicable to my situation. Ray Wood also took me around the lot while Jeff was with another customer who had an appointment (I didn't, just showed up), and was just as, if not more knowledgeable about the 2014 Ram I was buying. Mike Smith was the hero of getting me financed. Because of my recent return from Afghanistan, Mike took it upon himself to LITERALLY CALL the underwriters to provide me a better loan situation. The night I bought this vehicle, my mountain took 5 inches of snow, and is not under contract to be plowed. Needless to say, I was able to make it safe to work the next day (Traded in a Mustang). The Ram probably saved my life.

The worst car repair I have experienced in 30 years. Over charged, had return twice for faulty workmanship and finally had to go to another repair shop to actually complete the work properly. The receptionist at Safford advised me to not return because the dealership and repair shop is "unethical." The repair shop manager lied to me as to what they did. The knocked a hole in my radiator, cost me $400.00 to replace. The repair shop that actually repair my van said Safford Chrysler is notorious for this bush league repair and over charging. STAY AWAY!!! I have never written a bad review before but after my treatment at Safford I had to say something.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I contacted them through their website to give me an e-price. In the first e-mail, I wasn't even given an e-price. Then I was given an e-price. I go on the chat, and I am given an e-price of $1000 lower. How did it magically go lower in 30 mins?I then negotiate on the chat, and I asked for a price $285 lower than the new e-price, and for them to waive delivery charges. They said no. Who lets a customer walk over 300 bucks and a delivery charge.Then I call up Lustine and Fair Oaks, both say that the jeep they were trying to sell me, that they have marked as "in transit" hasn't even left the factory yet, doesn't have a window sticker, and won't be there any quicker than ordering it. Ridiculous. Lauran the internet sales manager clearly is not in the business of making sales. I will be most likely making my purchase with Lustine or Fair Oaks, as both of them have accepted my price.

Talk about going the distance! I drove 384 miles each way to get my car but that doesn't compare to my experience with Safford Chrysler Jeep of Warrenton.They were absolutely great from start to finish. David Rawlings impressed me from the first phone call on--he was a straight shooter and went out of his way to answer any questions I had. This was really important since I was travelling over 5hrs each way for a hard-to-find 2006 Subaru Baja. The car was in pristine condition, but that was not only a function of the previous owner. Safford of Warrenton inspected/serviced/prepped the car to make sure it ran and looked great. It's the vehicle I had been hoping for but was beginning to think I'd never find. David was friendly and easygoing. There was no pressure from him and no BS. I would highly recommend Safford of Warrenton to anyone local or anyone willing to go for a nice Sunday drive!

My wife took her jeep in for a free oil change. When she picked it up she good about half way home when the low engine oil light came on and a terrible stink was coming from the vehicle. She called my son who drove down and found the oil filter was not screwed on. called Safford who sent a tow truck. Several hours later when they said it was fixed and cleaned up she picked it up. When she got home she noticed oil covering the rear window and hatch. I took it to a car wash who refused to run it thru there system because of all the oil. I then took it to a touchless wash where about half or less of the oil was removed. I now have a oil covered vehicle that has an engine that was run out of oil because of their poor service.

Foremost, this was my most enjoyable new car purchasing experience; by far. Since this was my first truck and I needed it to tow, I had many questions about the truck usage. I was convinced that the 2500 was what i needed when Jeff suggested that I consider if I would ever upgrade the size of my current travel trailer; great food for thought. Ray provided several great explanations regarding why: 1) the 13 2500 (3.42 rears) could tow so much more that a few years ago and 2) explaining synthetic versus standard oil. David, my final salesman was honest, straight forward and did not attempt to pressure me. During price negotiations, discussions were calm, realistic and timely. Brendan was most adult sales manager I have encountered. I felt that he understood my position as I understood his. I would gladly recommend this dealership. I live about 90 minutes from the dealership and the overall attitude is why I purchased this far from home.

Eve was very friendly and enthusiastic about her job. She was patient with us, as I had my 7 month old daughter with us. we didn't end up buying the day we visited as I had an outside bank finance the purchase and she was more than helpful getting everything squared away and all paper work needed and going where it was needed.

The first time I dealt with this dealer we ordered a new Jeep, All cash so no finance. We waited a week for the Jeep to arrive. We were very excited to get the new vehicle for my wife, so we both left work early to drive the half hour there. One there we saw it and started to look it over....we ordered a panorama room and the one delivered did not have one. The salesmen Jeff asked if that was a big deal? Ah YES IT IS...we did not order this. So we left and ordered it from another dealer. My second experience was with my AC on my Dodge truck (had to use this dealer because I have a large truck) Long story short they said I needed a whole new AC system $2500. So I looked on the internet, bought the part for $225 and had in installed at a local garage for $180...Total $405. That is a huge savings and it stills blows cold!Third time, again I have to use them to check my truck because it is large, was for a turbo pressure not detected code. Took it there knowing what was wrong, just checking to see what they could do. They told me it needs a new turbo! Mind you I drove it there just fine, with only a check engine light on. I said no and told them I would pick it up the next day. I went to get it and it would not run, was it what they call limp mode, so I could not drive it away......I had to have them fix it for $2000. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS DEALER!!!! They robbed me for $2k because I could not take it to another place without towing it there

I had been looking for a used Suburban for about two months through several different avenues. I came across one on Cars.com that fit the bill. It was located at Safford, Warrenton. Called and was told it was available. Drove up and was helped immediately...although the color was listed incorrectly, that wasn't a problem. Ken took me on a wonderful test drive that covered highway and back roads so I could get a good feel for the vehicle. He and Mike worked with me to get to a price that was right for me. They even sped things up when I returned that night to purchase the vehicle.

They initially found a leak in the oil pan and set up an appointment for its repair. It was covered under the warrantee. When I took it in for the service they noticed additional warrantee work that was needed and so they did that also. Not every dealer service would have done that. When I drove out of the dealership, the car was running so well I felt this was now my dealership.Bill Morse

Overall experience was very good. Very freindly and outgoing sales staff. No high-pressure sales tactics. A little dissapointed that a leak in the vehicle was not identified before it went on the sales lot. It was a "certified" vehicle. Should have been inspected and repaired. Now I have to make a service appointment for a repair on the vehicle with less than 10,000 miles on it and owned only a few days.

Although there was a problem with some warranty work not being done during the visit due to dealers time and scheduling issues, the General Manager took resposibility for that problem and dealt with it quickly and fairly when he was made aware of it.I was disappointed on the day but an acceptable outcome.

My experience with Safford Dodge in warrenton was by far the best at any dealership I had visited. They were very accomodating and listened to what I wanted. When they didn't have what I wanted on the lot they went above and beyond to find the car I was looking for and within a price range I could afford. I have nothing but positive and raving reviews for anything I've had done there. I couldn't have been treated any better.Thanks to David and Mike for making this experience such a postive one. When I arrived at the dealership to look at Jeeps, an older man just waved to the back of the lot, saying-- we moved the cars because we are renovating. He did not offer to help us. I do want to say that I am also an older person too. We drove around to the back to search and here came Eve-- who was on another mission. She immediately stopped to help us and went to get keys to access the cars. She explained all of the features and was so enthusiastic about the product. We went home and then returned four days later to pay for the car. We love it and Eve has been wonderful in follow up questions. I will say that this dealership needs to take into account the changing demographics of this area. The person I had to see about warranties referred to employees in the "back" as girls. Very offensive to me. The dealership needs to employ a more diverse population to draw in more diverse buyers. If we had not run into Eve, I would have driven to Maryland to buy the same car. Eve did her homework and set us up for the return to purchase the car, which involved her requesting the documents we faxed to her. It went very smoothly. She is a gem.

I was looking to buy a Dodge Ram 1500 with a V6 for it's higher fuel mileage rating. I had been to a couple of Dodge dealerships - one seemed okay and the other actually tried the old 'we sold the one you were looking at two days ago' routine. In other words, they didn't have it when they told me they did.Upon walking into Safford, I was greeted by Eve. No pushy salesperson here. After letting her know what I wanted, she let me know that there was only one 4-door 1500 with a V6 on the lot. After crunching numbers, we determined that the one in stock cost a bit more than I had budgeted. Eve worked with me to find another truck that would fit my needs.We found one at another Safford location. I didn't buy the first day because I wanted to do some pricing research. After doing the research, Eve and the dealership worked with me so that I could get a better deal. After all the paperwork was signed, Steve Guth (sales manager) noticed that I had Realtor license plates on my car, and took the time to rewrite the paperwork to get me another $500 discount!The only bad thing - the truck wasn't the exact color that I was looking for, but everything else was just fine.

I was upset at first because I had come in to look at a 2012 300 and was shown a 2013 instead. Upset because I LOVED the car. After that nothing else compared. Even after visiting a Cadillac Dealership. Roy though new was attentive, if he didn't know an answer he found someone that could. He made sure that we were happy.The one thing that I did NOT like was the financing person pressured us into taking his financing, though our credit union offered us to match any interest rate and loan length that was offered.

I called David to schedule an appointment and he was very friendly over the phone. Once my wife and I arrived at the dealership, David was quick to meet us and show us around the Grand Cheerokee we were interested in purchasing. He did a very thorough job and I am sure I would not have been able to figure out some of the vehicle's abilities without his help. After buying the Jeep, David called a couple days later to make sure everything was satisfactory and that I had no questions/concerns about the Jeep. I have called or visited several times for parts or quotes on parts. I have dealt with Curtis several times and each time I have been talked down to as if because I am a woman I don't know anything about cars or parts, I have also been talked over especially on the phone. Most recently I called to get an estimated price quote for an insurance claim, I had the part number of the item that I was looking for, and Curtis wouldn't stop asking for my VIN and talking over me as I attempted to explain that I didn't currently have that available but if he could look up the cost of that particular number and the cost of the programming. I think it is extremely poor customer service to continue to talk over someone or interrupt someone over and over on the phone. I wish I could say that this was a one time experience but unfortunately it was not. I have had to have a key made for a vehicle that we lost the keys for and was treated poorly then in person, I have also come to pick up parts that were ordered and paid for previously and had to wait for 5-10 minutes while Curtis continued to catch up with a buddy on the phone, he made no attempt to cut the call short.

I looked long and hard to find the car I wanted. In the color I wanted. With the miles I wanted. Safford of Warrenton had it and for a good price. I called and spoke to Belinda Demelis. This salesperson goes way out of her way to get you any information about the vehicle you need. I was on the phone with Belinda for over an hour a couple of times asking questions about the car and about my trade in. I live in Alexandria so a drive to Warrenton is not a quick hike by any means. Belinda made me feel confident enough that we would be able to get a deal done so I took the leap and drove down. We took an extended and rigorous test drive that pushed the limits of any ordinary salesperson.When we got back Belinda worked with her Sales manager Mike Smith on my trade in. After some very dissapointing numbers for my trade in where received I was ready to leave. Belinda reassured me that a deal was still possible so I stayed while she worked with Mike Smith the sales manager. Mr Smith was able to produce the MAGIC number that I needed for my trade and the deal was done. Thanks for the hard work and effort. Also thanks for lunch.

Stacie was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the vehicle. She spent quite a bit of time going over the features and, since they did not have the one I wanted on the lot, helping to find one close that had most of what I wanted. My overall experience was great, though I did feel that, when told I would receive a call about something, the call did not come in what I thought was a timely manor. I first looked at a used Jeep at a Buick dealership in Front Royal. The salesman talked down to me and made comments about how Jeep Libertys arent like a real Jeep, just the "girl version". I test drove the car, was told that they could get me a 10 or 11 percent finance, and then was never called back again. I had a very bad experience with them. I was then down-hearted thinking I would not be able to get another Jeep. Then, my father drove by Safford Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Warrenton and told me about two Jeep Liberty's that he saw at their location. I was only looking to get another Jeep Liberty, as my trade in car was a 2005 Jeep Liberty that I loved. I went online just as I did the Buick dealer, and I filled out an online credit application. Within an hour or two, I received an email stating that they received my application and someone would contact me soon. My entire experience with Safford of Warrenton was excellent from start to finish!! Stacie Wakefield was an excellent sales rep, as was Barry Haddan, the business manager that drew up my papers and was very detailed when explaining my extra options available to me. Mike Smith went out of his way as the used sales manager to find a bank who would work me a decent finance deal. Mike worked for days to find me just the right finance for me in my situation!! He and Stacie definately went above and beyond their job duties!! I will be sure to tell all of my friends, co-workers, and acquaintances about this dealership!!!! They made me feel like they understood my situation and needs just as a family member would. They are extremely nice to work with!!!!!!!

After carefully considering my next vehicle of choice, I decided to go with a RAM 1500. I went to the dealership with a tight budget and they were more than willing to get me where I wanted to be. They laid out choices and estimated costs for each vehicle. After a few visits and a few test drives, I decided to take a few days to decide if this was the right choice. I received emails during my thought period, but none were pushing a sale or trying to force a deal. They were honest emails about costs and to praise the many features of their dealership. Belinda allowed for multiple test drives without trying to force a deal after the first one(as most dealerships do). They even worked with my trade in and gave me a fair deal. All together, this dealership is not your typical dealership. They not pushy salesmen and women who only want to make a sale. They provide upfront service records and carfax reports prior to even discussing prices. Amazing experience overall.

I first went to the dealership to test drive the new Dart just because I was interested in its performance, not with the intention of buying. After driving the car and hearing the specs on fuel economy and power etc, I was sold. After taking some time to decide color and other options I returned with the intention of ordering the car exactly how I wanted it. It was a surprise to us all that ordering the model I wanted was not an option at this time. Feeling a little discouraged David really put in the time to search the area for a car that I liked. They indeed found a car that met my desires almost perfectly. Being my first new car I had a ton of questions and never did one go unanswered. The entire team at Stafford of Warrenton really put in the extra time and effort especially David to ensure I was well informed and got the car I wanted. The car I wanted was delivered to another dealer and they arranged to have it picked up the day after it was delivered to the VA beach dealer and I had the car as soon as it was back to Safford. There was never I high pressure uncomfortable sales environment, it was simply a pleasure to buy a car here especially since they did everything not only to get me the car I wanted but also did everything to get it to me at the best possible price. Thanks guys for making my purchasing experience pleasant ! You guys Rock !

We went to Safford to test drive a Jeep. My husband had owned a couple and wanted me to give one a try. The new Jeeps are nothing like his old one. It was nice inside and out and sat up tall so I could see well which is what I was looking for. I was so impressed with Stacies knowledge of the vehicles...for once my husband had someone that could talk his language. We were both impressed. Loved it that she listened to us and wasn't rude and pushy like a lot of sales people. I love my Jeep. I would and have recommended Stacie and your dealership to friends. I recently had the opportunity to buy a fun car (not one for commuting or family obligations). When I started I did not know what I wanted other than an American muscle car. I knew I wanted one of the three American classic muscle cars but not which one. I visited several dealerships and Safford of Warrenton was the only one to try friendly customer service based about what I was saying and wanting, and not just trying the hard aggressive sales push. When I arrived at Stafford of Warrenton I was greeted by sales person Belinda Demelis. She showed me the available challengers on the lot and we took a test drive in the model I wanted, just wasnt the right color and packages. When Belinda heard that I was trying to get a feel for the car to compare against other similar cars she modified the test drive route to better accommodate me. After the extended test drive I received lots of material on the vehicle and dealership and was on my way. No buy this right now or the price will go up pressure.I was then allowed time to think about my future car, what I would like it to have, and what a reasonable price would be. After test driving all the cars I was interested in my decision was to get a Dodge Challenger R/T Plus.During the time I was considering every detail of what I wanted, Safford of Warrenton transferred in a vehicle that was extremely similar to what I wanted (might have just been a coincidence). I noticed on the website and asked Belinda to setup a test drive for this vehicle. Belinda had the shop rush to have the car ready in a couple of hours (cleaned, safety inspection, etc) so I could test drive it right away. After the test drive I was given a very fair price for the vehicle and I requested the evening to think about it and was on my way without the pressure sales push. I returned the next day and let Belinda know that I had decided against buying the car. Belinda simply asked if she could help me find the car I did want without pushing the car I had rejected. She searched everywhere for the car I wanted but because I was so specific and wanted the vehicle to have several new packages it needed to be ordered. Belinda worked with Brandon Gallehr (sales manager) and me to build the order exactly as I wanted explaining the options and requirements for the packages to coexist on a single car. After the car was built I was presented with the MSRP and all possible incentives. After a short period of time we settled on a very fair price. I had come into the dealership with reasonable expectations on price based on my research and Safford of Warrenton quickly worked out a deal with me.I am now waiting for the car to be built so the deal can be finalized. I will provide an update once the deal is finalized and the ink dry (even thought the tough part is done, and it was not so tough)

We first visited Safford of Warrenton to explore the current lot inventory; we did not have any intent of purchasing a vehicle. However, after working with Stacie Wakefield we felt completely at ease and had a great customer service experience. At the end of the day, my wife purchased a Jeep Wrangler (Oscar Mike edition) and I placed an order for a custom built Jeep Wrangler. During the ordering process, Brendan Gallehr was also very helpful and willing to go over each option. In the end, Jeff Surratt was lightening fast in processing the financial part of the sale. I called this dealership after numerous attempts to work with local dealers. Each of the salesperson(s) I dealt with until I called Stacie kept wanting to sell me a Jeep I didn't want. I called Stacie who was recommended through the financial institution I was dealing. After talking to her she was the only salesperson who suggested ordering exactly the Jeep I wanted. We went to this dealership to look a truck posted on the internet. When we arrived, the sales individuals were helpful and allowed us a test drive. There was no pressure to look at other vechicles and our needs were met quickly. They were able to find us financing and the paperwork required was filled out by the staff. On September 18, 2012, my husband and I were returning home from a getaway weekend.We experienced trouble with our Dodge Van engine and had to be towed. We were towed toa nearby privately owned repair shop where a repair was made that was thought to havecorrected the problem. After having gotten on the highway again, and about an hour further into our drive home, we, once again, found ourselves having to be towed. This time we were close enough to Warrenton to be towed to this dealership. Unfortunately, our vehicle didn't arrive until the dealership was closing for the night. However, we were greeted by the service manager with a smile, and he understood our urgency to get home. He arranged for our vehicle to be placed into the service schedule as early the next morning as possible. In the meantime, they recommended a very nice hotel and helped us make arrangements for a rental car while we had to wait. The next morning, we were able to pick up our vehicle as promised with a full explanation of the repair that was done. I would highly recommend this dealership because of their extreme friendliness andaccommodating handling of our situation. This dealership far surpasses excellence in service than any other dealership I have ever had to deal with. Thank you for excellent service!!!!

The experience I've had so far with our salesman Jeff Billak at Safford Warrenton has been outstanding. The best thing I could say about him is that you would never know he's a salesman; I think that speaks volumes. We actually went to the dealership for maintenance on our Jeep Patriot but found Jeff so interesting we stood around chatting with him. I have been thinking about a new vehicle for about a year but have not been proactive because I loved my old vehicle and hate the process of buying a car. After I mentioned it was a possibility he said you can look at or drive anything here you are interested in but if today isnt good come back when you're ready. I thought to myself is this guy for real and we decided to stay; he is absolutely a great guy who will not push you into a sale you are not ready for. Jeff spent a great deal of time with us that day making sure we chose the right vehicle and very skillfully did this in an unobtrusive manner. I highly recommend Jeff and this dealership to anyone who hates buying a car!

Stacie listened to our needs and what my husband and I wanted in a new vehicle. Even though the minivan we wanted to see was a dealer demo and not accessible to us that day, she eagerly tried to reach the salesman and keys. When that wasn't possible (salesman in Florida and keys in his pocket), she immediately had a similar Town and Country Limited brought into the customer viewing area where she demonstrated the interior seat features and dashboard technology. She then had us take the driver's seat and talked us through basic steps.We felt she was very attentive, tried to give us a fair deal financially and laid out all the steps necessary to have the vehicle we purchased ready for our pick up the following week. The Saturday we arrived to pick up our new minivan, Stacie met us in the parking lot as we approached the dealership building. She again carefully reviewed the technology of the "key" system, sirus radio system, synced my cell phone to the vehicle for "hand free" communication. She was very thorough and we left the dealership lot very happy. After having our van four days, my husband and I would return to Safford in Warrenton to deal with Stacie or suggest that others we know consider vehicle shopping with her.

She knows her product and was able to effieiently work with us through the pros and cons of all the options. We arrived at the perfect choice for us - which was NOT the most expensive or I suspect most profitable for her. We were contemplating one of two cars and appreciated the fact that Stacy gave us sincere advice to help us decide between the various options. This resulted in our purchase of the slightly less expensive car that had the essential options we needed. We were able to go for two test drives which helped us talk things over without a sales person in earshot. Bottom line... no pressure to buy; a comfortable experience. Stacy was pleasant and knowledgeable. We also liked the fact that negotiations were able to proceed without putting a check on the table (the "are you sincere" trick of so many car dealers) or being put on hold for an excruciating long wait while a higher-up approves an offer (something we have been subjected to in many past purchases at other dealers). The price of good rather than great reflects the fact that our trade-in allowance was on the low side after negotiation... we accepted it because in the end it didn't matter as much as getting the new car, others may look at this differently. I would definitely recommend Stacy Wakefield as the person to see at Safford Warrenton.

I've never had a better dealership sales experience than working with the Jeffs.I came in to test drive a vehicle with my purchasing criteria in mind. I was up front with what I would pay and what I hoped to accomplish - test drive, inspect vehicle, talk price, and financing but I hadn't intended to purchase that day. Jeff Billak was easy going and straight forward, I took the car to lunch with the wife, came back and I was out the door below the price of my USAA buying program price.Honorable mention for Ray Wood, thier service manager who does well to train the sales team in the fine details of the vehicles. This is a winning team at Warrenton.All car buying should be this easy.

Ray Wood was the most knowledgable sales person I have ever worked with. His years of experience in service gave him a depth of understanding that no traditional sales person can ever have. Others should take note of this, as it is invaluable to the dealership, and thier customers. I had went to 6 other dealerships and looked at many different makes and models, but no one wanted to come down more the $2,000 off the sticker price. I told Jeff in the parking lot what I was looking for and what I would pay and he said I can put you in one today! I had been looking online at many dealerships for a Ram 3500 Laramie. I found 3 trucks in my area that matched what I wanted and ended up making the trip from my home to Safford of Warrenton because of the advertised price they had on thier website. I called and talked to David Rawlings who assured me the price was a true price out the door. I had no desire to go to a dealership that was using low prices to draw people in only to find it is not true. When we arrived David had the truck out front, perfectly clean and waiting for a test drive. From test drive to final paper signing I have to say this was one of the easiest and best car buying experiences I have had. David was a great Sales advisor and working with Jeff Surratt for final financing and paper signing was seamless. I would buy another vehicle here anytime.

I traveled 3 hours one way to purchase my 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 from Safford. Via email Jeff offered me a very competitive price on my trade in and a good price on the new vehicle. Safford Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Warrenton had 3 trucks configured exactly as I wanted in 3 different colors to choose from and my local dealers did not have anything close to this selection.I corresponded with Jeff via email and drove up two days later to look at the vehicle. I was promptly greeted by Jeff and introduced to my salesman, Mike. Mike was knowledgeable about the truck I was interested in and had a relaxed personality. He went over the features of the vehicle in detail and allowed me to thoroughly look over the truck for as long as I wanted with no interruption.I closed the deal with Jeff the internet sales manager. The deal went smoothly with no price changes from what we agreed upon in our emails and no pressure to purchase anything additional. During the short time I was in closing on the vehicle Mike had the crew getting the truck ready for me. Jeff was great. Initially, I was approached by a woman named Stacie. I guess she handed me over to Jeff because she figured I was going to be a difficult sale. (The moment I showed up, I told her exactly what I was looking for. Perhaps she figured I was delusional. I must say, initially, I was a bit firm because I had had a very bad experience at the Safford store in Fredericksburg. I noted the sales chart and she was their lead sales woman. So either she's excellent or only takes the "for sure" client.) Nevertheless, her having passed me over to Jeff is the best thing that could have happened. Certainly, I was ready to make a purchase; but I also didn't want to be pushed. Jeff took the time to answer all the questions I had and took me out to test drive the car; and while he told me about the features of the car, he tried not to overwhelm me. He kept me apprised of everything throughout the whole process. Jeff is the sort of person that immediately feels familiar. You feel safe to ask questions and you dont feel pressured into doing anything you dont want. Hes great at listening and getting you what YOU want. In fact, I get the sense that although this store offers great customer service, in this sense, Jeff is probably their star. Their computer sales guy gives off a very standoffish vibe. (He may be a good person, but his demeanor doesnt show it.) I would tell anyone who is ready to buy but wants the best sales experience in the world to ask for Jeff.

Jeff and Ken are both very professional individuals and made me feel comfortable and confident with the process of buying a used car. The only criticism I have is I wish the car was more ready since I had requested that everything that can be done before I arrive be done (I had my 5 and 3 year old sons with me). Examples: Needed gas added to the tank, carpets in back were dirty and needed to be cleaned, finding the answer to where the extra key was took a little time. Truly though, these are very minor infractions that only took a few extra minutes. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would buy another car from them in the future.

I have delt with this dealership many times with multiple different vehicles. The reason my family switched to dodge from always being a GM family, was do only in part to the wonderful customer service in the service department! The service manager Ray Wood was not only helpful, but friendly and efficient. He answered all of our questions and told us everything that was going on with our vehicles. There were no surprises we were totally informed of everything going on. I never felt like we were being taken advantage of like I have before at many other service departments in Warrenton. I was very impressed with how Ray Wood took care of our vehicles! My husband and I made the decision to buy a new Dodge truck. To our surprise Ray Wood was now in the sales department! Ray took us out and helped us pick the perfect truck! He went over that truck top to bottom, front to back with us I knew how everything worked and were everything was on that truck. This is the best new vehicle deal i've ever received,the price and trade in value were outstanding.I was there only a couple of hours and then was driving home in a new truck,it doesnt get any easier than that folks...Great place and highly recommend.

My Uncle-in-Law has purchased many vehicles from Safford. Once I walked in and met with Stacie Wakefield, I understood why. I was in search of a 2012 Dodge Durango. They had a huge selection and carry the combinations of features in their vehicles that most people seek. I was able to find a heavily equipped black Durango with almost everything and without leather (an unnecessary expense according to my shopping checklist). Stacie is a great person and 100% accommodating to any schedule. She lives in the dealership and will even get management to keep the place open for you after hours if necessary. She was honest with pricing and features, understands the car sales business and tactics employed by other dealerships, and above all else, drives the cars she sells. I recommend Safford and will be going back for maintenance and accessories.

Outstanding Dealership!I recently purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from Safford and had a truly amazing experience. From the moment I met my sales person (Stacey) to the moment that I signed the last piece of paperwork with Mr. Haddan, I felt as though I was a longtime friend.....truly amazing people and an outstanding experience. The dealership's selection in vehicles was superb! I decided to tradein my existing vehicle and received a tradein appraisal that was several thousand higher than I had anticipated.All in all, the dealership, the management, and the staff made the experience one of the best I've ever experienced....well worth the drive out from Metro DC.

Several months ago it was time to trade in the Magnum for an SUV. Not that I wanted to, but I needed the space for the kids. I purchased my Magnum from Mr. Myers at Safford, and went back to him when it was time to trade up. I was not happy about trading the Magnum in, but the Safford team put me in a very affordable and fun to drive Journey that exceeded my expectations. They found the right vehicle at the right price, and away I went...confident in my purchase and knowing that the Magnum was left in good hands. I did have an issue with the satellite radio. The Safford team bent over backwards to figure the problem out and make the repairs in a timely and efficient manner. I have purchased several vehicles from the Safford team over the years, and would not consider going anywhere else. This is the first dealership I have found that puts as much effort into keeping you as a customer as it does into making you one.

Dealer has a new, well-located facility, an excellent inventory, and friendly, knowledgeable employees. The deal we negotiated was fair and reasonable and the finance manager went out of his way to get us an attractive and convenient finance package. It was a pleasure doing business with them, so based on that experience, we will have all maintenance on the vehicle done there. We love our new 2012 Dodge Challenger!

Do not deal with this dealership. They will quote you one price out the door, then when you arrive it will be a completely different price. The sales manager will treat you as if you have no clue and are trying to steal from them. I wasted 10 hours, 3 hours each way on a deal that was already negotiated. Then since it was a different sales manager, "oh I cant sell it for that.". Save yourself the headache stay away.

What a great Team. The entire group is dedicated to customer service and satisfaction. My salesperson Stacie has been dealing with me for a few years. Never any pressure to buy, however, when I was ready to purchase, she was there to help. The service department is tremendous as well. Very up front and honest, very quick to respond. Ray is the man!I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone who wants agreat car buying experience.

I had one of the best experiences I've ever had at Safford in Warrenton. Knowledgable salesperson who took the time to find my perfect truck. I've been in for service several times since and Ray in service couldn't be more helpful. I hope to keep my truck for many years but have told friends and family about Safford in Warrenton.

I contacted a salesman about a car for sale on their website. He responded respectfully to my emails, until I made an offer for the car. The car was overpriced compared to Edmund's true market value (TMV) so I sent an offer closer to Edmunds TMV. He responds with a rude response on email in one sentence: "You want $xxxx off the Internet price???????" Other dealers I sent my offer to politely responded with an opportunity to discuss price or kindly declined. I took my business elsewhere and found the same car with less miles for around the price I offered to the salesman. I'm glad I took my business elsewhere.

These folks just get it. Lauran conducted herself courteously and professionally, but more importantly she listened. She took the time to understand what is important to my family and I and as a result we purchased our Grand Cherokee from Safford. Their service department has been simply fantastic.
