I had the best experience buying my vehicle from Salinas Valley Ford. I bought a 2021 Ford Bronco, my sales rep was Bob. He was a pleasure to deal with and worked with me for several hours to get me an awesome trade value for my car and an awesome price for the Bronco. He was very knowledgeable and personable and is very easygoing & happy-go-lucky. I also had the pleasure of working with Kyle, and just like Bob he was eager to help, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help out. A special shout-out also to Katie and Rudy. Would definitely recommend buying a vehicle from Salinas Valley Ford.

Called the parts department to purchase a part for my 2011 Ford Crown Victoria that is currently being restored. Once confirmed the part was in stock, they do not take payment over the phone or ship parts. Also will not price match other Ford dealers. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

$400 dollars to connect a sensor and tell me that I have transmission problems. Then they want another $5000 to fix the problem. This is the last time I go to this dealer. UPDATE: After paying Ford $400 to connect a sensor reader, I took my car to a local transmission center. They took a look and recommended a $150 maintenance service, which took care of the problem. Three months later and no issues. Ford wanted me to pay $5000, when all the car needed was a transmission fluid change and service. DO NOT take your car to their service department, they will rip you off!!

Brought my Mustang in for a rattle in the back seat. This was my second appointment; on the first appointment, they thought it was the after-market exhaust system. I had that checked by a muffler shop and it was fine so I took it back to Salinas Valley Ford and they checked it again as the noise was getting worse. This time, they found the problem and fixed it. Great to work with, where some dealers will scoff at fixing a rattle, these guys take it seriously and work with the customer.

Service for 2016 Fusion, everything was great. I took it in on a Saturday without an appointment and waited in the wait area. They reviewed the service with me, before I left and finished in a very reasonable amount of time. They were busy, so I did expect it to take longer than it did.

My first visit to Ford dealership was not positive. They kept my truck the whole day and then to be told they had to order a part and to come back when it arrived. When I got to my truck I had to crawl in the passenger side because it was parked to close to another car.The contents of the glovebox where scatter on the floor(included were our passports).My last visit was much more positive, Thomas greeted me when I arrived, offered me a ride home and called as soon as the truck was ready. I decided to have the truck serviced as well and I was impressed with the service. I am planning on bringing the truck back.

We purchased a 2015 Ford Focus Titanium. We had a 2012 Focus SE for trade. The sales staff was low key and friendly, and had excellent knowledge of the car we were interested in. The service was terrific, just first rate. The F&I person was very helpful, and did his best to get us on the road in a timely manner. Overall, the experience was very positive.

My recent experience with my 2016 Explorer went well and the service was prompt. With this portion of the service I have no issues. However, when I was contacted to make the appointment. I explained to the young lady on the phone that addition to the oil change and check up, I needed the Service Department to know the vehicle was pulling to the RIGHT when driving. Consequently, when I checked my vehicle in I advised the Service personnel of this concern and was told that it WAS NOT NOTED and they weren't going to be servicing or addressing this issue for a wheel alignment. I don't get it! If you take your vehicle in for service and/or a check up, why wouldn't personnel say something like we can schedule you to bring the vehicle back to have this concern reviewed by the mechanics/technicians. That would make reasonable sense, right? But this was not the case. With that I have concern if I say that I have an issue with the performance of the vehicle and nothing is mentioned or rescheduled. I'm confident that whomever reviews these informational experiences will address the issue I or other consumers may have in the future.

On my previous service I was told that a recall could not be taken care of until my "light" can on. Well this time Declan, the person that took care of me at the Salinas location, said that I had been mislead regarding the "recall". He had my car serviced completely and had all 4 of the recalls taken care of on the same day. They even washed my very dirty car. Way to go FORD!

Kevin, made the buying experience of my 2015 Ford Escape very stress-free and enjoyable! I got the color and price I wanted thanks to him and my Mom. He took the time to fiil up my gas tank and explain the special features and set-up my phone and favorite radio stations! He also had "treats" for me when I came to pick the car up! The popcorn tin & key chains and pen were nice touches that made the experience even better! He even installed the cargo cover in the back for me! Overall good experience at this Ford location. My only 'complaint' is that the salesperson was too pushy. I walked in the door already knowing what I wanted, but the salesperson kept trying to talk me into something he wanted. In the end though, I still got what I was looking for.

My vehicle had a problem with the ignition switch. had my vehicle towed to the dealer. The service advisor was very helpful in getting my vehicle repaired as soon as possible and informative on what the vehicle needed. I needed to get a body panel replaced, one that did not need any body work. I ordered the part on a late Monday afternoon and it was delivered on Wednesday morning. The installation was very quick and I was at the Ford dealer for under an hour. Ruben, the service writer, went out of his way to make sure that I was pleased with the job. He even replaced my wiper blades under warranty when he noticed that my windshield was streaking when I used the washers. Thanks for the extra effort Ruben, it was very much appreciated.

Andrew was wonderful. First, I called expecting a date in the future for my recall service. To my surprise, Andrew offered an appointment in just a few hours! Upon arrival Andrew already had my information ready, told me it would be about an hour and a half, and that he would call me. One and a half hours later my mother and I came back from shopping. She was just going to leave me to sit in the waiting room. Andrew called just as I was getting out of my mother's Ford Taurus (yes, we are a Ford family). SALES: I was in need of a reliable used car and your sales rep, Nick Romero, was right on top of a car that met my immediate needs.It was the right model, very low mileage, and the price was well within my budget for financing. The only drawback was it only came with one remote key lock and no keyless access code. Sales was able to absorb the cost of programming the keyless lock but I was expected to pay for a new key plus having it cut. This was an expense of $200.00 plus and an appointment was required through service. This situation was disappointing.SERVICE: The service department is always exceptional and informative when they can be reached. Service reps seemed to be abrupt with customers but that may have been due to high volume of business.I have been doing business with Salinas Valley Ford over 15 years either with purchasing new vehicles or having them serviced. I am very pleased with my recent purchase and will continue to do my auto business with Salinas Valley Ford. However having to purchase an additional key AND having to make an additional appointment and trip for this service was disappointing and inconvenient.

The associate that we worked with was Anahi Villa. We found her to be very refreshing to deal with as she had a non-pushy, easy going attitude with a sense of humor. Making my appt was easy on line... but not sure about quality. My previous brake lining showed 7mm and the one before that showed 8mm, but this one showed 9mm... not sure how my break pads grew... or added thickness. When i questioned the service writer he stated he saw the tech take the reading. So does that mean the last two techs didnt take a reading and eyeballed it? What else are the techs missing... Just saying... I am one of the weird people that read the report card and pay attention to the details. I like taking care of my investment. Overall the process was okay.

Felix Colin was amazing helped us both weekend before we got the car and the weekend we got it , he called everyday for updates, because we were looking for specific style . The staff was very helpful when servicing our 2015 Fusion. The service light had come on because of some sort of leak in the fuel tank. They kept the vehicle for two days and completed the service. One day later the service light came back on. They said they must have disrupted something while replacing parts causing a separate leak. Not too sure what the malfunction was but this time they fixed it. Frustrating week but they did a great job addressing the issue and getting us a loaner vehicle.

I purchased a 2008 Ford Ranger on 9th of July. I had seen the truck on Wed. afternoon and send a notice via the Internet that I was interested. Iris contacted me very shortly and we set up an appointment to drive the truck at 10am on Thursday morning. I was able to drive the vehicle and we were able to wrap up all the paperwork in about 2 hours. It was a very pleasant experience and everyone at Ford was very helpful and courteous. Thanks to Iris, who came in on her day off, and to all for making this one of the easiest vehicle purchases that I have ever had. I am extremely happy with the truck.

The Service Representative who helps me is the reason I continue to use your service dept...he is VERY helpful. However, I had a problem with my car intermittently 'clunking' when shifting, which, as determined by Ford, is a computer malfunction; it took a long time to get the vehicle to duplicate this problem but it DID duplicate. So Ford fixed it, which was covered under my extended warranty. Now, it is doing this EXACT same thing again, and when I took it in to be fixed, Ford would not repair it since the problem would not duplicate again (when I took it in). It seems to me, since this is the exact same problem and was fixed once, it should be repaired once again, even though it would not duplicate once again when the service tech test drove it. Now, my extended warranty is expiring this month, the car is still 'clunking' intermittently and I'm fearful that Ford will not repair it under warranty if it gets worse and HAS TO BE REPAIRED. Whatever the service dept did the first time did not hold and needs to be re-done but Ford is not taking responsibliity for this problem, for which I suppose Ford will also say "Sorry, but your warranty has expired so you will need to pay for the repair"....even though I, in good faith, took the car in, explained the recurring problem and Ford told me they could not repair it.

The young man at the counter was very professional, friendly and enormously helpful. He and I were discussing my Raptor truck when I mentioned that the software that runs the dashboard control center (Synch) seemed buggy at times. He asked if I was downloading the changes that had been done since I purchased truck. He helped me sign up for MySynch to facilitate keeping me current with the Synch software's latest version. I came in for an oil change, for them to check out my break (have been having a vibration with breaking), and a squeek that seemed to be coming from my back tires. I got the oil change, the break were not checked because I still have the vibration. The squeeky sound went away but the next day it was back. Not happy that the sound is back.

Well first of all i don't speak English, but a friendly young girl that works in the service department asked my wife if she needed help. We came in because my car had a clutch recall. This young guy by the name of Anthony Andersen helped me. my wife needed loaner Vehicle he offered to give her one while they worked on her fiesta, to me that speaks on its own. Service Advisor Levi Hoagland was very helpful, even without an appointment. Job was completed on schedule. I was very disturbed to find ALL my Owner Advantage credits were lost to me. I had a great experience with Kevin Rogers and an overall very good experience with Salinas Valley Ford. I do think Finance could have been more accommodating with DMV services. I needed to transfer my personal plates from my previous vehicle and he told me he couldn't do that unless that vehicle was traded in. I found out from the DMV that he absolutely could do that and it was likely he was just refusing because there wasn't anything in it for him. After speaking with Kevin Rogers (who spoke directly to the "DMV people" employed at Salinas Valley Ford, he found that he could get it taken care of so I wouldn't have to wait for my registration and new plates to come through and having to take another trip to the DMV. So, please note that Finance was not providing exactly the best service by declining to process my plate switch for me. Other than that I would say that the buying experience was very good.

I went in to get my bed liner put in and the bed liner looks great, but I also went in for an oil change and I let them know that I have a sound (like a mouse on a wheel, squeek) from my tires. They told me after that they could reproduce it but as soon as I drove away the sound was there and is there every single day. Not happy.

Sammy Aquino is a delight to work with. He is serious and very responsive in his work but has a bright humorous outlook on life which is refreshing. My only problem with the job stems from the delays BMW caused by ignorance of some wiring issues and in BMW delivering parts on time (once an incorrect part). Because your technicians couldn't solve some of the wiring issues Sammy sent my and the car to Dick's Automotive which diagnosed the problem in about 90 minutes. But again BMW parts delivery is slowing things down.

The Service representative attended to my service needs in a timely manner. She also answered my question regarding octane rating when traveling out of state. Because I did not have an appointment, there was a slightly longer than usual wait for the service to be performed - approximately one and a half hours for a basic oil change and tire rotation. My F-150 was washed, but it had to be done by hand because of the size of the vehicle - which extended the total time in the dealership for the service to be performed.The requested service was completed to my satisfaction and the service personnel were helpful.

I have been a loyal customer to Salinas Valley Ford for over 9 years now. I bought a Ford Taurus and Lincoln Town Car from them. In the past the service was adequate but lately I have had all kinds of problems. The Town Car was purchased with a warranty and has needed service several times. However it comes with a deductible. So what they do is fix only part of the problem, then you have to go back several days later when you find out that they should of fixed another part. Since it is a second visit they charge you another deductible fee. What a rip off!!! Talk about padding the bill!! I also purchased a maintenance contract to cover oil changes, etc. However when you try to schedule an appointment you either cannot get one or if you make one online they call you back and cancel it. (what a waste of money and time!!) I would NOT recommend that you buy a car here, but if you do, DO NOT let the slick finance guy DAVID SHEPHERD talk you into a service or warranty contract, it is NOT worth the money or aggravation. Also, every time I do manage to get in for service, the service department cannot find or locate the warranty or service information. I am a medical doctor and I don't have time to play mind games and constant scheduling battles--so if time is important to you DO NOT buy or get your vehicle serviced here. For me my next car will be a TOYOTA--I need a car I can drive not one I have to visit and leave parked at the dealership!!!

When my car was getting serviced at the dealership, one of the service workers backed into my car and sliced open the right rear panel. Fixing the dent required another week for my car in the shop. Had an oil change and replaced wipers in October, 2014. Then brought the car back for recommeneded engine work & fluids to be changed, January 2015. After all work was completed, I used my wipers & noticed they were NEVER replaced. Brought the car back to Ruben to look at & he immediately replaced the wipers. No questions asked! The service department did OK they appear to have done a good job going over my vehicle and accomplishing what was on their list of things to be done. That said, they "washed" my truck and for the most part it did appear to be washed OK, but not really with any detail or care. I have the same two smudge lines running down the side of my truck, which they would have to put some elbow grease in to remove but it's not that hard to remove (I started one but figured I was taking it in for service they'll hit it in the wash). Those lines have been there for the last two visits now. The tailgate was left alone or very briefly hit with the hose, it was still pretty dusty when I picked up the vehicle. Also and I'm not 100% sure but I think there are a few new scratches on the side of the truck (small but I noticed them). All in all OK service but not the great service I have received in the past, careful you're slipping Salinas Valley Ford!

Overall a satisfying experience. The dealership was clean and the staff were pleasant to deal with. My only complaint is that I drove nearly 5 hours that day to pick up a truck that had an 1/8th of a tank of gas. I requested a little fuel to help with the drive home and was denied. Never purchased a vehicle (new or used) from any dealership where they didn't fill the tank up for me. That in itself wouldn't necessarily dissuade me from purchasing there again, but I would definitely get a guarantee for a full tank of gas before making the drive.

I worked with Kevin Rodgers on the purchase of my 2008 F250 Super Duty. He was very knowledgable and efficient in the buying process. I was in and out of Finance quickly, which was important as I needed to buy a car hauler trailer the same afternoon I purchased the truck. The thing that impressed me the most is Kevin's willingness to assist me after the sale. I left the dealership with my truck to purchase a car hauler trailer in Gilroy. I hooked up the trailer to my truck, drove back to Salinas and Kevin helped me load my Mercedes sedan onto the car hauler after his normal day was done. My driver side windshield wiper on my 2013 ford escape did not work properly. It's been that way for months. They tried putting in a new motor. That didn't work. So for this visit they but in another motor and now it works. Anthony Anderson kept me up to date of any progress. I always go straight to him when I need help.

Took my F-150 in for a re call notice I received. Made the appointment and was expecting it to take at a minimum of 4 hours. It only took them about an hour and 30 minutes. Very friendly and asked if there was anything else, nice touch. Nothing else but to tell them I am very happy with the vehicle.

We arrived and was greeted in a timely manner. We had a scheduled service and a recall to have taken care of, would be a couple of hours. Shuttle driver dropped us at the mall where we had breakfast and shopped until Customer service called and said our car was ready. Shuttle picked us up and we were done. Almost felt like a vacation. On this particular day I took 2 of my ford vehicles in for oil changes without appointments (explorer, focus). Larry (a new face I had not seen in previous visits) was prompt to acknowledge, polite, and helpful. I was able to leave one vehicle at a time while I ran errands in between. The customer service I received on this day was excellent and pleasant, not always the case and reason I do not give a high recommendation, but hope this type of customer service continues.

I purchased a 2008 Ford Escape a couple of years ago. The dealership kept losing track of the fact I had purchased an extended warranty. I kept having to go back to the finance office to prove I had the warranty. Between the dealership's inability to track my warranty and the imminent death of my husband, i was never able to get the 90,000 mile service I was supposed to get before the warranty ran out at the end of May. My husband died June 30th. I can't understand why the dealership can't keep track of an extended warranty we purchased when we bought the Escape!

I ordered a 2015 Mustang GT. Kevin Rodgers was my sales consultant. Since I was one of the first retail orders I was prepared for the wait. I wanted to finalize this transaction, including my trade in that day, paid in full. The negotiation went well, I was advised not to expect the car until the middle of November at the earliest. I was ok with that. Kevin kept me updated. The car arrived right on time and in PERFECT CONDITION ! I have a made a request from cars.com and the Dealer contacted me in a timely manner to address my request. There was no "dealer pressure" at all while the dealer expressed his motivation to do business with me. That is something that I would really appreciate when talking to a customer. We bought a 2014 Ford Escape. We LOVE our new car! We even enjoyed the entire car purchasing process! Everyone worked very hard to help get us into our perfect family car and we are beyond grateful. We have had a difficult few years (since 2012) with our sons cancer diagnoses. This doesnt give us a lot of time to shop, handle negotiations, and worry about paperwork because of our two small children and one of which is in the middle of chemotherapy treatments. So the team at salinas valley ford really made this happen! The appointment and service was good but the wash that was suppose to be done was not completed. It seemed like they just pressure washed my vehicle but did not actually wash off the dirt and off my vehicle also it was suppose to be vacuumed but it wasn't either. My sales associate, Felix Colon, was very knowledgeable and demonstrated great customer service. He really worked with me to find the car I wanted in the color I wanted - a 2015 Fusion SE. I had to wait two days for the dealer trade. Felix set me up in a loaner car so I wouldn't incur the additional expense of renting a car...that was unexpected and greatly appreciated.I purchased a sealant package for the interior and exterior of my car...it would have been nice to have a loaner for this day as well, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I would definitely return to Salinas Valley Ford to purchase another vehicle.

I discovered I had a leak under the car (it was leaking red fluid) and since they had just rebuilt my transmission, I was concerned. After speaking with a service advisor (I think Anthony), he recommended just bringing it right in. I did and it was discovered that my water pump had gone. While in the shop for repairs he also recommended I have the 30k mile service done (i was at 28k miles) so we did that too. The car was ready that afternoon. My only concern is that when I called initially, it took over 20 minutes to actually get a service advisor on the phone. They were so busy. I of course was able to leave a message if I so chose.. but that isnt what I wanted to do as I was going to be late for work, etc....

I took in my 2014 Ford Focus for it's routine maintenance and the job they did was pretty great. The service advisor, Lori White, was awesome. I had an appointment so she was able to attend me quick, and it took less than an hour for my car to be ready so that was great. Even when my maintenance plan is over, I will still take my car to the dealership. They really do have excellent customer service.

All was excellent except for the service additions was a bit questionable on the explanation of what was to be covered. e.g. the service contract is for every 7500 miles and I need to see if the oil change is acceptable for the warranty on that mileage. If so fine-if not it would feel like a rip.

The signal light on my right mirror stopped working. It's an LED light. I asked the service department if they could replace it. Their technicians didn't know how to do it. They said they might brake the glass on the mirror and didn't want to risk it. I told them, it just pops open from the back and it would only take about 5 minutes. But, if they didn't know how to replace it just to sell me the lights and I would do them myself. They said they didn't carry it. That I would have to buy the whole mirror and they would be able to replace that one. I thought it was funny how they didn't know how to replace a simple light or even carry it at the dealer. BUT, they did know how to replace a whole mirror, which is way more expensive. So, I picked up my truck and went to another place to purchase my lights. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. That is a reason why many people go elsewhere, because the dealer doesn't have technicians that can do the job right or just want to squeeze more money out of you. For that reason I wasn't completely satisfied with the service this time.

We bought a 2014 cmax. So far it has been a great car. The problems we are having is that it is my wife's car. I bought it for her but I get contacted about it. I am a truck driver and barely drive it. She uses it for work. Also the dealership has lost her information or she wouldn't of had the headache from her last oil change when they tried to sell her a service package. Who ever is in charge of such matters needs to look into this. Also when she was there last time she was told that they would work on it after lunch & that they were swamped with work at the time. What kind of employee tells a customer that. He should of said we will get to it asap. Also if he going to lie about the kind of work they had they should of shut the doors. I was informed about no cars being in the bays and how the mechanics were standing around talking. She had to wait 3 hours for an oil change because one of your employees had too much free time and then needed to take a lunch.

Just in for an oil change and tire rotation, helpful staff made it a quick service.Just a helpful note, requested tire rotation, tire rotation was not documented on my receipt, advisor assured me it had been done, still not convinced it was. Even after the complimentary carwash the front wheels still had more break dust then rears, just saying. Oh next time save the carwash, quick spray and partial wipe down is really not worth it, had to rewash windows and wheels once I got home, but thanks anyway.

I felt that the approach was more of a sales person just showing available cars, vs. a sales person trying to really understand the customer's needs and approaching strategically and effectively. I had to do a lot of research on my own, and educate myself regarding the vehicles, options, etc. Since the research I had done led me to wanting a Fusion, I pursued the vehicle and found that Salinas Ford had good options. So, I worked with them on a deal that I considered acceptable.

They also forgot to put sticker on front windshield letting me know when my next oil change should be. Had to go back in to ask for it. This was the first time ever that we (myself, my wife, and my son) didn't feel like it was "us against them" in buying a car. It sincerely felt like it was a team effort to get us the truck that we wanted and (I can't believe that I am actually saying this!) at the very best price that we could get. Kevin (our salesman) had such a positive attitude and was a pleasure to be with as we went through the possibilities and options. We switched trucks and equipment packages a few times and he just started over with a big smile on his face and helped us get into the price range that we could afford. I have already told a dozen people this story and I don't see stopping in the near future!

We purchased a Ford Transit Connect Van. My husband had been looking at them for a long time. We were on vacation and just stopped to look. We both drove the van, and then talked it over. Jokingly i said, " if you can complete the paperwork in under one hour, we will buy it". They took us seriously and we drove off in our new van in just over an hour. We came back on our way jome to complete some paperwork and get the helpful hints that we chose to skip earlier in order to pick up our friend at the airport on time. Everyone we worked with was helpful and friendly and willing to work things out on our terms with minimal hassle. My husband is happy, our friend loved the van, and our kids and grand kids think it is great!

My latch on my hatchback quit opening. The cost to replace the mechanism including the part and labor came to $350.00. In our opinion and others we found that to be a very high price to do this repair. Your $120.00 an hr labor charge is shocking. If we can find a good mechanic else ware with a lower labor charge, we will always try to go to him first.The staff was very helpful and I liked the fact that they gave my car a quick wash.

I really like the dealer but as far as informative about the vehicle and it's features not very knowledgeable. The car on surface (after cleaned)was okay but when I got home to look closer, they didn't do a good job detailing it. The car was still dirty in between the cracks of things.

Experience was great until I called AAA last week to do a service on my car battery. They noticed that I had a flat tire (not the fault of Ford). The AAA representative could not get one of the lug nuts off the tire. He said it had been mis-shaped or damaged. When I had the car in at Ford for its service, the tires were rotated. So I have to assume that the damage to the lug nut happened then.The tire could not be changed by AAA. So I wasn't thrilled that the damage had likely happened when the car was in at Ford for the service.

I purchased a 2014 used Cmaxenergi with 5,200 miles on it, that was returned from lease by a former employee. I love the car so far but have one small problem, one of the fobs to start the car was not returned and have yet to receive a replacement. The sales person Kevin, was very helpful pointing out how to use all the features the car has and I'am very pleased with the results so far. I only hope to get the replacement fob soon, so if I misplace mine I have one to replace it with. I live in San Rafael about 90 miles north, but willing to drive down if that makes it easier to obtain one.Thanks John Maniaci

In that the change oil light had come on, I attempted to have my vehicle serviced at the ford dealership in seaside, and was advised it would be several days before they could get me in for service. I then drove to Salinas dealership and was taken in for service upon my arrival. The service advisor was friendly and knowable (brake wear).

I got a CPO Ford Escape 2010 about 9 months ago and the whole experience have been spotless since then. I have had not a single issue with the car nor with the staff. Everyone at Salinas Valley Ford always tries to make my visits as pleasant as possible. I've taken the car there twice for service (just oil changes and a recalls that Ford put on this model) and everything has been perfect. If you call in advance to make an appointment the waiting will be quite accurate.

Service was good and the staff very helpful. My only recommendation is if the service appointment is a certain time you need to stick to the schedule. My oil change appointment was for 12:00 noon ( service time 1 hour) I arrived and checked in at 11:55 AM. At 12:30 my vehicle was still sitting in the same place however after pointing this out they jumped on it immediately. The job was completed at 1:45 PM vs approx. 1:00 PM as promised.Staff was very apologetic for the delay.

Yes, the newest service that I had completed was done well and everyone was very kind and helpful. The complimentary car wash, however was terrible. There was large, white water spots left all over the car as if it wasn't rinsed off or wiped down. I had to go home and rewash the vehicle because it was so severely spotted. My husband and I wanted to trade in our Ford Edge and buy an F150. We have purchased several vehicles from Ford and this was one of the best experiences we have ever had. They all were very good however this was the best so far. The online Internet Sales Specialist Kevin Rodgers, emailed and called me to help answer any questions I might have. When we got to Ford for our appointment with Kevin he already had a Truck picked out for us and it was everything I asked for. We went on a test drive and drove it away that night. Kevin made the whole purchase very easy. The whole experience was Excellent. The Dealer even took care of cancelling our Sirius XM service on the EDGE. The above rating is for you service dept. I can not say the same for your parts dept. I was told when the part was suppose to be there and it took them 3 times to get it there. I was pretty upset after the 3rd time of telling me to come back. Service dept. was ready to put it on right away when it was suppose to be there on the 2nd time it was suppose to be there. The only reason it took the service dept. 2 hours to put it on was because the were really busy. If the parts dept. were to do their job, I would have been a very happy camper. When I talked to the gentleman that promised me on the parts arrival he really gave me the impression he could care less about me having to come in multiable times.

I bought my pickup there and didn't want to drive to Salinas just for a service but because of Lori I will continue to do so.....this last service I was there for 1 1/2 hours and because "there wasn't anyone available my pickup didn't get washed" Lori was going to do that too!! I don't like that there is no cashier. The service department has enough to do without taking care of payment as well. I have additional insurance coverage which covers a large portion of this bill. I called for the cashier department to give them the information. They call the insurance company, give/fax them the information, and the payment would have been sent in a couple of hours. I was not putting that burden on the service department. I can send in copies of the information, and I will be reimbursed. I have been a customer of Franich Ford in the 70s, and Salinas Valley Ford since the 80s. I buy the service. I am happy with the service, and how customers are treated in the service department. I am not happy with this new process. It seems to be more about the money than the customer.

Lori White, your Service Writer, was phenomenal! I had a cracked oil pan on my new Fusion, that was discovered during an oil change. I purchased a 2014 Ford Edge Limited AWD this week. I knew what I wanted and the salesperson, Javier was more than willing to show me what I had researched. I appreciated his honesty and knowledge regarding the Edge and other Ford SUVs. I also appreciated the finance department - George and David. I purchased a 2006 Dodge 3500 dually. The first salesman I met was pushy, rude and to honest I was not going to return to your lot. I really liked the truck and felt I could maybe deal with a different sales person. I then met Iris she was WONDERFUL great sales experience with her. I had then for some reason I am guessing because first guy showed me the truck originally I was also dealing with him again. While walking to my car to get the registration he argued with me about mileage of my trade in then grabbed the key from my hand got in my car closed the door while I was talking and started pushing buttons all over not knowing what he was doing! I was about ready to walk from the whole deal and never come back!!! That guy needs a class on customer service and how to deal with people wonder if he treats men the same way? I sure hope he didn't get commission he did not sell me this truck Iris did! Much more to this story also. David in finance is awesome!

Service was excellent as always - Reuben is the BEST service adviser at the dealership - his experience, knowledge and customer service skills are second to none. I personally witnessed Reuben taking care of a very difficult customer with courtesy, professionalism and efficiency. (I could not have been as patient as Reuben).I do believe that Reuben could use more help - he was the only employee in the Service department helping customers when I dropped off my car early in the morning and the only employee in the Service Department helping customers when I came in to pick up my car during lunchtime. Whoever Reuben's manager is, needs to pay attention to what's going on - the Service Manager was nowhere to be seen, even in his own office.Also, the fact that the departments have to take care of their own cash register is ridiculous and totally inefficient - it took me 30 minutes to pay my bill (while Reuben was taking care of that difficult customer, with no one else in the Service Department) when before, with a Cashier Department, it would have taken me 5 minutes - if this issue is not addressed, I may take my business elsewhere.

Overall my experience buying my new 2014 F150 was good. I got a fair price on truck even though they couldn't get the color I wanted. I settled for my second color but had extra insentives thrown into the deal that included a back up sensor and tented window. The staff were really nice and I would recommend going there and talking to Javier and Charlie, those guys are good. I was doing a lot of shopping around and what I got for a new truck I would have spend 10K or more with a used or new truck else where. Check them out.

I bought a 2006 Ford Fusion SEL (pre-owned, certified) from Salinas Valley Ford in 2008. The purchase was hassle free and I loved driving the car. It handled beautifully and I had no problems with it for the 6 years that I owned it. I also enjoyed having the car serviced at Salinas Valley Ford. I was treated with courtesy and respect. My car was well maintained and the service dept. worked with me if I couldnt afford to pay for the full-recommended tune up, doing what was absolutely necessary until I could catch up.Today I picked up my 2014 c-Max Hybrid and I couldnt be happier! Ford took my Fusion in trade for a fair price. Again, the Ford staff did their very best to get me the car I wanted and to make the transaction hassle free.I look forward to having my car serviced at Ford in the future and interacting with the friendly staff. I was happy that I was charged a deductible of $100. to repair a reoccurring problem that kept happening while my Ranger was under warranty. This repair would have cost $330. if it had not been a preexisting condition as my truck is now out of warranty.

My husband and I visited Salinas Valley Ford about a year ago looking for a used F150. We were lucky to have met sales rep Rafael Leduc. Mr. Leduc impressed both of us with his honest, positive & helpful attitude. Mr. Leduc made the entire purchase process go so smoothly & stress free. When it was over, we felt like we had a true friend at Salinas Valley Ford. We were so happy with Mr. Leduc's assistance, that we arranged for my 73 year old father in-law to come to Salinas Valley Ford, all the way from San Carlos this past week to deal with Mr. Leduc & Salinas Valley Ford. Mr. Leduc did not fail to impress us once again. Please understand that this was the first time in 24 years that my father-inlaw had set foot on a car dealership lot, and he was a bit nervous. Mr. Leduc walked him through the process & helped him locate two prospective new vehicles to choose from. We also received outstanding help from Danny Sanchez, when Mr. Leduc was unavailable. I did not feel any pressure to buy my car. Shaylene listened what I wanted and did not put any pressure on me to purchase a car. she took the time to show me what I thought I wanted and listen to what I was saying to, understand what I really wanted was not what I was saying. Shaylene took the time to look thought all of the stock to see if what I want was there. She also took the time to help me with cleaning out my old car.

I live in Berkeley so I typically wait while work is being done on my truck. Ruben and the staff at Salinas Valley have always done a great job of getting any work needed on my truck done quickly to get me on my way. I also respect the professional competence of the Service Department and have confidence in their work. I've been going to Ruben Reynoso At Salinas Valley Ford Lincoln for the past 2 years, the one time I decided I would go to a different dealership that was closer to my work I absolutely regretted it and came running back to Ruben at my next service. Their waiting lobby is open and comfortable, they have free WIFI and offer some drinks. Ruben keeps me informed on everything that's going on with my car - he understands my financial situation. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I had not found what I needed the first visit, but because no one tried to sell me something I wasn't completely satisfied with I was able to return with great expectations. Charlie helped me both times and seemed to understand my needs and what I expected not only in the vehicle options, but in the pricing structure and was relentless in coming up with a perfect fit without trying to sell me something I did not want. I had always felt that he was looking out for my concerns as an adviser rather than a salesman and that got him the sale where other competitor dealerships and salesmen had failed. I walked away feeling good and excited about my purchase rather than concerned about what I had paid or the vehicle I had picked. Charlie made that happen. George in finance also took the time to explain my options, but he also took the time to understand my needs which also made for a pleasant experience. Frankly, a process I had completely dreaded turned into a exciting pleasant occasion which I thought was unique. If the followup from the service department is half as effective as the sales process, you folks have really succeeded in changing the way cars are sold. Thanks

The Service Dept. is awesome. The problem with that is that i have been to them to many times fixing things on my vehichle which is less than 4 years old. I also had to replace my gas cap plate twice and i feel this should be a recall part.

Charli Angrisani was unbelievable to deal with. I have bought many new cars and trucks in my day from many different dealers across the state and I can honestly say that charlie and Salinas ford went up up and beyond what I was expecting. I went in knowing what I wanted in my new F350 and Charlie spent the time to locate my truck with the options I wanted at the same price. Would like to thank Dina, in the service department at Salinas Valley Ford, Salinas, CA, for her excellent customer service during my last visit, November 29th, 2013. When a tire that had been ordered was not delivered at the time promised, she was kind enough to send a driver to the warehouse to pick it up, and promptly called me when it arrived so that I could bring my car back in and have the tire changed so that I could go on a planned trip out of town. She was very professional and understanding. I feel she should be commended for her excellent work.

I was contacted by Shaylene because of an internet query I made. She called me and was very friendly. She was also persistent in a non-threatening way. She worked with my schedule and made the choice to further my relationship very easy. When I went in she was personable and knowledgable. Charlie was very friendly and helpful. They were both aggressive in a very easy going way. They made it very easy to purchase from them. Then David was VERY friendly and made the paperwork process fun. I went on my first visit to Salinas Valley Ford Lincoln and I was very satisfied they made it possible for me to get a car from them. My intention was getting a used car but the offer was so good I ended up getting a new one. They are attentive without being pushy, and really looked for ways to make it possible in terms of the value of the vehicle I was getting as well as the value of the trade-in (which took some negotiating both ways). They are patient and answered every question I had. If it happens I will get another car in the future, it will be the first place I will go to if it happens to be they carry the make and model I may be looking for.

Charlie Angrasani was awesome in personality and in giving me a great deal, also in introducing me to the Salesman Duane Disalvo. They were both very professional. I knew exactly what I was looking for in my sixth and last Ford Truck. The Exact Truck I was looking for was the first truck I fell in Love with. Salinas Valley Ford has a wide variety of Truck selection. The entire showroom atmosphere was welcoming and all the Salespeople were very nice. It wasn't like the regular salesman swarming you like sharks. I have experienced that many times on a lot. It was a very pleasant and a memorable experience. I have owned 6 Ford mustangs, 3 of them purchased from Salinas Valley Ford, plus a couple of used vehicles. I have gone to this local dealership for years, most of the employees have become my friends. I get all my service and parts here, also. I like the feeling of walking in and it is almost like I work there! From the owner on down everyone is very helpful and friendly, My sales rep, Rafael Leduc was in the Army with me, he worked very good deals on my last 2 mustangs, the final one being my dream Roush Mustang. Even the times when a deal could not be made, no pressure was put on me. From Rafael in sales, Junior, Kenny, Jose and Dan in parts, To my friend Rueben and Dina in service, the Quick Lube techs and Master Tech Bill, they all are super people!!!!

They had the cars I wanted to try with the engines I was looking for (Focus & Fusion); once we decided on a model there was no attempt to upsell or add a bunch of stuff. I'd have been okay with the Focus, to be honest, but my wife wanted the Fusion. The body color/interior color was not what we wanted and they did not have another with that engine on the lot, so they found us an identically equipped car in a color that worked at another dealership, gave us a demo Fusion to drive home in, and had the one we wanted trucked in and ready for us the next afternoon, which I thought was above and beyond (considering it was a Sunday).

My wife and I went to this dealership, last month, looking to buy a 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid, while they were offering end of the year rebates. They did not have the one we were looking for in stock, but immediately arranged to have the model we wanted delivered from another dealership in California. This is our first new car purchase ever, and we had a very good experience. Friendly help that was not pushy from Ed, and good follow up support from Jose to answer some questions we had and sign us up for their "new car 101" class, are two key reasons why we've had a great experience with this dealership and with the purchase of our new car.

Friendly, but obviously fake, not very knowledgeable, a little condescending, would not offer limited warranty on a used car, which so many other dealerships are willing to do these days. Price was ok, but the dealership could work on their willingness to throw in a few options, like a 12 mos limited warranty to seal the deal.

BUYER BEWARE! Do NOT buy a used are here!!! The sales staff and sales manager are super nice. HOWEVER they sold us a car that did not have a clear title. . .6 months later I still do not have registration in my name- I have been issued temporaries but of course the cops don't see this so it is a hassle to drive the car and get pulled over for expired registration. They wont answer the phone calls of my lender and when I finally said that is it I want to take the car back because I am not going to keep paying payments and insurance on a car that they cannot get the title to (some glitch with paperwork from a previous dealer they keep telling me.) the General Manager told me not to worry he would make it right and do the right thing but when I brought the car back all they did was offer me another temporary. Now I have had to retain a lawyer. The bank cannot even take the car back because THEY aren't on the title. Its just ridiculous. I cannot tell you the hassles I have gone through with this- like their DMV person telling me essentially too bad they have done all they can do. In fact that is the party line there- "we are working on it". 6 MONTHS and no title!!! Do not trust these guys they sold a car they had no right to sell.
