Just wanted to say thank you to the staff at Sam's Riverside for their prompt and helpful assistance with a friend/customer that I had referred to have them buy her wrecked 2007 Chevrolet HHR. She is a Chinese exchange student studying her PHD at Drake and speaks very broken English. She was very nervous about the car being sold because she doesn't understand the purchase process. She called me to tell me how well she felt that Andrew Galinsky and his staff treated her. I sell cars at another local dealership and would gladly refer anyone to purchase a car/truck from Sam's Riverside!

They didn't respond to my E/mail, but I wanted to see what they had for used Ford Fusions. The salesman was very helpful, but the showroom is full of vehicles and I could hardly get between some of the vehicles, but you can save a lot of money if your willing to take a gamble on prior salvage cars. They had one 2014 Ford Fusion with only 981 miles and you could save $ 5,000.00 on it, it was the wrong color for me but if your looking to save some money I would advice you to give them a shot. One thing they really need to improve on is better detailing as some of the vehicles were really dirty.

I located a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit on thier site and called the number on the site. Phone was answered within 3 rings and I was greeted by a guy named Joey. Joey answered several of my questions and the ones he did'nt have , he called me back with the answer. I decided that the drive to Des Moines would warrant the time to check the vehickle out.When I arrived ,I was greeted by a guy named Brooks, and he said that Joey would be with me shortly. When Joey met me and my wife,he was extremely generous with his greeting. When I checked out the vehicle,I noticed how many calls that where coming into the dealership and the walk in people that were looking for information or a vehicle. While waiting for the Jeep to have a few minor details to be adjusted,I had the experiance yto visit with Brooks and Joey and was enlighted to why I should'nt be concerned about purchasing the Jeep, which put myself and wife at ease in doing the purchase.These two gentelmen are very knowlegable in the rebuild vehickle business and handle a grat many calls and people that come thru the door to the dealership. I have purchased probably 30 vehicles in the 65 years of my life and have only had one other purchase that was as enjoyable as this one. From the first phone call to the signing of the paper work, I would give this company an A plus,plusfrom the start.I will definately send buyer to this company and will purchase more vehickles from them also. You have to stop in and look at the cars in person. Sam's doesn't staff to respond to emails, they have very helpful and busy salesman at the lot. They will check anything that you want checked on a vehicle and will share any knowledge and opinions they have of the vehicle. They sell ALOT of vehicles, so stop in and take a look. I purchased an escape for my daughter to drive to school. Got a lot of car for the money with a few blemishes.

While I was interested in a vehicle, their inability to respond to an e-mail (After waiting 1 week) will encourage me to shop elsewhere. I have not used any of their other services.

They did not even contact me and it has been over a week , if they are in to selling cars they sure must not care about new business!!! Very dissipointed!

Not a very positive experience even for an inquiry. No response at all. From the looks of customer ratings, this company does not appear to provide good service. Too bad. I think that a timely, friendly, and courteous acknowledgment from the internet side would woo over many potential customers into becoming actual, buying clients. Relationship-building is always the key to buyers, if not now, later on.

I emailed multiple times and called the dealership and they said they were busy and would call me back. I emailed them again the next week and they still have not called back. Horrible customer service. If this is the way they treat customers before the sale, think of how bad it will be after the sale.

Bought a Truck from them that they listed as having a certain sized engine. Turned out it had a different sized engine. I get it I chose to buy a re-buildable truck instead of a nicer vehicle, but you would think they would be correct on something like an engine. I've had nothing but issues with the truck such as stalling. They told me to make sure its full of gas because it could be a hot fuel pump...... really?????? The salesman who helped me was arrogant, and had no interest in even budging on the price.... NOT RECCOMENDED!!!!!!!

I made the big mistake in dealing with this company, they said they would take a tradein but refused my tradein. I have a 2010 small suv with only 24000 miles on it. They led me to believe they would take my vehicle for a tradein. I sent them a lot of emails to deal with the tradein but they refused to send me a answer. All they would have to do is send me a email saying they were not intesested, but they couldnt even do that. I would highly recommend not doing business with sams riverside.

I do not do change well, however my last car of 17 years finally gave up the fight. Needed to find cheap and dependable transportation. Found several cars listed here that might work. Had never bought a car from anywhere but a dealership before, the guys at Sam's took the time to answer my questions, even steered me away from one that would probably require more work that I would want to invest. Then, after the test drive they saw to all the items on my "need fixed before buying" list (all minor, but important to me). The paperwork was quick, I did not finance. Now am enjoying my new ride!

I have never had any problems at the rebuilder lot. Over twenty years of purchasing cars and buying parts at their yard. A little persistance and the staff will try to fix you up with what you need. Damaged vehicles take work and knowledge. Good prices on cars means you do have to move fast or just let the other guy have it.

I feel I must preface this review with the fact that I have some car knowledge and am not afraid to do a bit of work to bring a car back to life. My wife and I are looking for a newer minivan to replace our older one. At Sams the cars are packed in tight and a lot of them are still damaged. That is the kind of stuff they sell. The service is more along the lines of looking around find what you want and then ask questions. The sales men is very busy and only has time to talk to motivated buyers. This is not the place to go to get cookies and coffee while a salesmen wearing a suit fills your ear with dreams of happiness and new car smell. The cars are exactly the price they say they are on their website and the price does go up once the damage is repaired. It is only logical that the dealer pass the price on to the customer. This is common practice with damaged vehicles. The inventory turns over very fast so if you see something you like get there quick and make a deal.

Wanted to buy a vehicle, called first and everything seemed fine. Online it said the vehicle had a regular title. Arrived on site, vehicle had no regular title, was in very rough condition, still had glass shards in the back seat from the theft. I said clean it up, get the regular title and I will purchase. They said 2 weeks to get back to me. Never heard anything, followed up with a voice mail, never got a call back. If you're a cash customer and know what you're doing I'm sure they are ok to deal with, but if you don't fit that mold I wouldn't bother with them.
