Shawn Emch was my Sales Person at San Tan Hyundai and because I work 60-70 hours a week, I did not have time to go sit at a dealership and waste hours and hours negotiating over a price of a car. I knew the exact car I wanted, I knew what the value of my car was that I wanted to trade in, and I knew the price I was willing to pay for my new Hyundai. Shawn was amazing. He worked with me via text and email and had everything ready to go when I walked into the dealership. We were all signed and done within an hour!!! It was very impressive and he was friendly and helpful. The most non-sleazy car salesman I have ever worked with. Brandon and Robert in Service also went out of their way to make sure that I was communicated with and knew what was going on with my trade in and I am looking forward to my first service appointment with them when it's time for my oil change. Thank you San Tan Hyundai! Truly made me a customer for life!

My service advisor Dakota Brown was able to get me in right away for a quick repair. I only had to wait about 1 hour for the repair to be finished. I now have Mario Macias as my service adviser and he does an excellent job. This time he greeted me when I pulled up at the dealership and was able to work my car in right away for a minor repair. For my latest appointment I worked with Rob Johnson as my service advisor. Rob is very friendly and professional. Kept me informed of the status of my repairs and offered a thorough explanation of the work being performed. A turn signal bulb on my Sonata burned out. I called the dealership and they were able to get me in through the Quick Lube lane right away. This time I worked with Malachi Anders as my service advisor. Malachi was very professional and personable. Turn signal bulb went out again. This time I worked with Brandon Brundridge as my service advisor. His service technician discovered the wiring harness was loose and made the necessary adjustment. Also was nice to have Brandon tell me that 2 services items I thought I needed were not needed at this time.

First I want to say buying a new car from here was a pretty decent experience, however I would like to warn people about buying the extended warranty. DON'T DO IT!! my car was only 3 years old and had only 26k miles. I bought the extra warranty for my car. I was not expecting to trade my car in but a great opportunity came to me so I traded in my car which was paid off. I sent the warranty paperwork to Gilbert Hyundai for cancellation and being it was never used as my car was still under the factory warranty I was expecting a full refund minus the $50.00 deductible. I was shocked they kept over $900.00 . This was a total ripoff! What happens if someone is in an accident and car is totaled and they have that extra warranty too? They lose all that money also, This is just another way for big business to rip off the public. Most of us buy cars intending to keep them, but sometimes circumstances change.

The best experience I have had purchasing a vehicle. The salesman, Jack, was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer every question. He worked diligently to find the perfect car...including finding just the right one at another dealership. Each person was cordial, respectful and helpful through the entire process. Service department customer service is atrocious. When you want to make an appointment, expect to wait a month and a half. They do have an "emergency drop-off" they will tell you about if they ever answered the phones. This is the dealership I purchased my car from so naturally one would go back for any issues. I was able to bypass the month+ wait back in December when I had an issue with my car. Brought it in, they found no issue even though I continued to have a loss of power and gas smells. I took my car (2017 Elantra) to a different dealership in the valley who properly diagnosed AND repaired the issue. My emissions control light came on today. Since this dealership is the closest to my place I tried calling. Rang and rang and rang. After two different times, I finally called and pressed the option for sales so I could at least speak to someone. Suffice it to say, I called another dealership to set up an appointment there instead. Better customer service and they will more than likely be able to find and repair the issue unlike San Tan Hyundai.

Greg met us outside upon our arrival, greeted us and asked us several questions regarding what we were looking for, pricing, and needs. We test drive two vehicles and spoke with Greg about the differences between the two. We left that night to discuss it at home and felt absolutely no pressure from Greg regarding one vehicle or the other. We called him when we had decided and arranged to meet him to complete the sale. From start to finish, Greg and the entire San Tan Hyundai staff were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I would recommend purchasing a vehicle here.

I have two kids, everyone else at the dealership was very polite and friendly to me and my kids. Most dealerships would find kids annoying or probably be a little frustrated with them touching cars or running around, but everyone enjoyed our kids as was very helpful in entertaining them as we worked on our deal.

My whole experience from test driving the Tucson to purchasing it was amazing! The Sean listened to what I wanted in a vehicle and then went over all the features the Tucson has to offer. Once I picked out the vehicle, then was introduced to the finance dept. They were thorough and fast! I was very impressed with the overall customer service and how quick the process was. I highly recommend San Tan Hyundai! I absolutely LOVE my 2017 Tucson!!!

Mr. Bob was absolutely fantastic to work with! He is the only reason we purchased the vehicle and would come back to work with him again. We were however not happy with the way we were treated in finance - very rude and made comments about our competency and ability to understand what we were being told about the differ warranties offered simply because we declined the extra warranties. We did not appreciate the way we were talked to and almost walked away from the purchase because of this.

I had only utilized this dealership in the past for recommended service and had never planned on utilizing them for sales as they are part of the Earnhart Family with numerous dealerships throughout the Phoenix Valley area. I was under the impression that they were too big an operation to be concerned about me purchasing only one car. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by our sales person and his efforts to make a sale without being pushy. His knowledge of the car I wanted to purchase was only matched by his interest in us as people and making sure that we would be happy with our choice of vehicles. Additionally, the dealerships physical presence was very neat and clean. Overall, it was a painless and time efficient experience with no haggling - just minor negotiations.

Overall it was a decent experience. At times I felt as if the salesman was trying to take advantage of the fact that I was a young first time car buyer. Please don't low ball me offers and try to trick me into paying extra for already installed security features. I'm young, not stupid. In the end I feel as if we came to a sale that was mutually beneficial and he did go over all the features with us in a nice manner. I in no way feel ripped off or regret my purchase, but I would suggest training your salesmen to be a little more tactful if you want younger customers to trust you.

Fast easy experience. We explained what we wanted and the deal was close to what we wanted as far as price goes. We did have to wait on our 2nd trip back about 30 minutes to close the deal, other than that is was fine.

I had done research online for a few weeks before going to this dealer. I was happily surprised with the thoroughness of Jesse's explanations of the Elantra and making sure I had all my questions answered. I was also happy to make only one trip to this dealer. I left with my new car! That's never happened to me before. The window tinting hadn't been done yet when I drove off so I had to bring the car back for that but it wasn't a problem. They got me right in to service. Service was also a pleasant experience: friendly and efficient. Finance was a bit confusing. I had to call back 2 days later to get a better explanation of the extended warranties I purchased. They cost more than I realized because they were presented as a monthly payment.

After buying 2 previous Hyundai cars (Accent then Elantra) we decided to upgrade to the Sonata Limited 2.0 turbo. We have been enjoying our car for 2 weeks now! We love it. The way it handles, accelerates, all of the safety features, I could go on and on This dealer is fantastic to work with!

Purchasing a vehicle is NEVER a pleasant experience. But if you have to then I would place this dealer on my return list. It is extremely unfortunate that the sales staff are pressured into unrealistic sales goals and feel they must ask you for a perfect 10 score on the survey (or they will receive an automatic fail and not get paid). This type of pressure from Management sickens me and reminds me of what was occurring at Wells Fargo.

We visited SanTan Hyundai where we were greeted by Jessy Rivera and he showed us several Elantras and one both me and my wife loved. Jessy worked with us and was able to work within our budget to get the car we wanted .I have to say that the management at SanTan Hyundai really worked with us to get this car . And the service is very good also . After 3 days I was in a parking lot and someone hit the side of the car with their door denting it above the left front tire . John Wilson in service had the car repaired and ready to go in less than 3 days after the incident . And at a very reasonable price . (SHOCKING) Service department people were really helpful .

Love the car. We have sport model and it is difficult on drivers side once seat has been moved up for shorter persons to get to the seat belt. Always have to move seat back 1st and hold till seat back in position. Seat lip maybe comfortable but difficult to slide out.

I needed a second small vehicle, and I have enjoyed my 2015 Sonata that I bought last June so much that I wanted a second one. I went into Hyundai to car shop since I saw they had great deals, overall experience was as any other first car buyers would. Todd was excellent and answered all my billion questions that made me understand what certain things meant. There were a few things that made a bump in the road such as mine and my cosigners names were spelled incorrectly on the registration and the plates were for the wrong car because he had to pick it up at a different location. I understand mistakes happen and with all that paperwork they have to deal with some things can go wrong so I wasn't upset even though I had to go back. When I returned to get the correct plates, I could be wrong but I believe Billy offered to wash my car for the inconvenience which was very generous since it rained, but I declined due to it raining again shortly after. He then offered to have a rain check because of the rain and I accepted. Very nice employees!!

I want to like this dealership. The staff were all nice and attentive. Online pricing through Edmunds, Truecar and their own website are all innacurate. They will not honor those prices. Management claims its ok because other dealers are doing it that way too. Every car on the lot has thousands of dollars on tacked on addons. Getting ready for a fourth visit on the dealer installed alarm as it still doesn't work. Had to go back in the next morning because the contract was not correct and wasn't what we agreed on. Best part is when they posted my vehicle discounted on Edmunds 3 days after I bought it for an unrealistic and unheard of price. When I contacted them they stated they had it in stock and to swing on by. Don't hate the player, hate the game though, right? My sales guy was nice and I liked him. The manager seemed nice, but wither way I could have got a better deal somewhere else. Thats my fault though. I probably would be more confident in my deal if I didn't have this gut feeling I got played by a shady car dealer.

We went in to purchase one car but were not opposed to buying two. Once we got a feel free what Hyundai had to offer in the Sonata, taking a test drive, we (my wife and I) felt like it was the right move for us. Once hearing the numbers for one of the cars, with all the features we wanted, it made sense to go ahead with two of them. Rusty was also kind enough to connect us with Jesse, as we prefer to do business in Spanish. It made our experience so much better and it was great to see a staff working together to make things happen! The sales staff was very good, we did have some paper work that had to be re-done. The sales manager was new to the dealership and had to correct some errors that were made, but everything was corrected. We are still waiting for our title and license plates and our worried that they will not arrive before leaving on a cross country trip and the temp/ tag is due to expire.

I will definitely say I was very impressed with the service I received from my salesman, I believe his name was Jason. He was very friendly, knowledgable, and I know he worked very hard to get the deal done. Overall I was impressed with the dealership. It was the best car buying experience my wife and I have ever had, for example we had gone to a competitor and was looking at the highlander and asked to look at one, the sales man brought the car up and promptly disappeared and wasn't around to ask questions. Whereas at SanTan Jason answered all our questions and was able to help in which model was best fit for our budget, and explained the differences between the models so we could understand and make the right decision. I have used the road service for a flat tire & the service department for general maintenance. I have never felt any pressure/upcharge to do anything I didn't want or need. Salesmen was great! Very easy to work with and knew his stuff. Negotiations were easy and straight forward. Made purchase decision and was on the road very fast! The only negative was there was an increase in the cost of a few extras in finance. We did not notice this right away because we received a lower interest rate which offset the difference. We would have rather had a lower payment then the extras at the increased price.

My only issue is with the finance department calling me back. Have your employees return phone calls. Asking for a manger to solve the problem is not the way to impress customers. The entire car buying experience went great. Trying to get a simple answer to a question from the finance department did not. Sending customers to voice mail does not make for happy customers when nobody returns phone calls. As you can tell this simple thing irritated me.

Victor quickly changed my mind set, by not rushing at me as I was getting out of the car, taking the time to ask questions about what I was looking for and explaining all there was to know about the model that I was interested in. He even came in on his day off to met with me to purchase a car and found exactly what color and options that I wanted on the vehicle. He never pressured me into something that I did not want and spent even more time with me when I did come to pick up the vehicle, explaining in great detail everything that I needed to know about the car, and also followed up with me a few days later to make sure that everything was in order and to see if I had any questions. Cole (Salesperson) was excellent in helping with a replacement vehicle for us. We have owned a Sonata and then later selected a Tucson, however after my wife broke her hip, even with steps, she found it hard to get in and out without pain (due to a bad hip replacement). Cole went the extra mile to be sure that we picked the vehicle, (1) That would meet my wife's need for easy entry both from the passenger and drivers side. (2) We had expressed that we were on a limited income and did not want to finance our vehicle, therefore he did not pressure us, but show us the Elantra which we had indicated we were interested in. We were happy to find the Elantra GT that fit our needs, both physically and financially. SanTan Hyundai has been our dealership and we have always received excellent service, and with our vehicles we have always had serviced at SanTan except when we travel to DE, where we found a dealership to take care of the oil change as we were spending two months traveling. Cole our Salesperson and Marcus our Maint. Advisor have been excellent representative for SanTan service.

Good overall experience. A few problems with the car itself in the first month but the dealership and my salesman were excellent. Some times the car will not go in to gear from a stopped position. Usually going from Park to reverse or drive. The car starts no problem and the steering wheel is not locked. Everything starts and runs perfectly but when I step on the gas the engine will just rev but the car will not move. it has happened twice now. 3/28 and 4/15

We originally just stopped in to test drive a car and then go home and research all Hyundai dealerships in the area. Both Cole and San Tan Hyundai were so easy and pleasant to deal with that we never went anywhere else. We went through the internet sales department and they made car buying a pleasant experience. Everything form the salesman to the finance guy was very professional and fast. I felt no pressure, but also felt that all of my questions and concerns were taken seriously. I did not feel like I was just another "number" or "sale" for the dealership, salesman or finance guy. I am excited to see how the service department does with the maintenance package that we purchased. The car was purchased for my daughter, so she will be taking it in for the maintenance. I have never purchased a maintenance package before, so I am trusting that the work performed, and also the professionalism with my daughter will be as good as everything else has been so far. My experience at San Tan Hyundai was fantastic. I was greeted right away by Aaron. My salesman, Aaron Wood showed me the car that I thought I wanted. As he understood what I was looking for, he showed me some other options that turned out to be even better and at a better price than what I came in thinking that I wanted. There was no pressure at all and no annoying price haggling. I was out the door in a very reasonable amount of time and with none of the usual high pressure sales approaches. We already had done our homework online and knew which car model we wanted, just not the trim level. We really had an easy buying experience with no pressure. We had visited other dealers, they were not for us, and once we came to San Tan Hyundai we knew we had picked the right dealer. Most of the cars were unlocked so that we could sit in and figure out what we wanted and didn't want. Jay Schaeffer assisted us with the trim selection, color and a test drive. After we picked out our car, Jay helped us through the manuals and made us comfortable using it's many features. He was very knowledgeable, especially on the hybrids. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Great selection of cars, a very helpful salesman who seemed to have my interest in mind resulted in the purchase of a new car. Went from a Toyota Prius to a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and am very happy. Miles per gallon is not nearly as good as the Prius but the Sonata is a lot more comfortable with not bad miles per gallon. All in all an excellent experience. When its time to buy again I look forward to dealing with San Tan Hyundai.

After a lot of research and attending Phx Car Show at Thanksgiving, we knew we wanted an Elantra to replace our 3rd Corolla. Contacted numerous AZ dealers (we live in Tucson) and found that San Tan quickly provided the best deal (by email & phone with Cole Avenetti) without the tactics that make car buying unpopular with many. (Which we unfortunately found at a local dealer.) Settled on car, price (we paid cash) and they held it while we drove up to pick it up. Bridgette Miller worked with us to complete the deal, and a friendlier more helpful and knowledgeable person would be tough to find. A lot more bells and whistles than our old car, and she took the time to set up the Bluetooth/Bluelink and go through the car's features. From initial contact at about 1pm, we had the new Elantra in our Tucson garage by 1030pm that night. Well worth the drive for both the price and for getting a no-hassle sales team. Would definitely recommend their e-sales crew.

The facility was clean and bright, a nice place to do business and the dealership is close to the 202 so testing on a highway was easily accomplished. The people here are very easy to work with and have a great attitude. They were not pushy. We told them our bottom line budget, and they met it with the specs we wanted in the car. The color we wanted was not available in a manual transmission, but otherwise everything was to our specifications. We also only had one day in which to get our car. They got it done! The person we worked with in finance was thorough and quick once we sat down with him. (We had arrived pre-approved and ready with our loan from USAA). All the details were taken care of at San Tan Hyundai, and there were no hidden costs. We got a tour of the service department, as well. Cole took the time to explain the car's audio component to my husband who would have felt lost if Cole hadn't taken the time to do so. The car was washed and sparkled when we got it. Driving out of the parking lot, we felt we not only had gotten a great deal, but we also felt like we knew what to expect with our purchase. A word of warning to all of you car shoppers, be aware that a reasonable amount of time to get a car from picking it out, test driving it, financial paperwork, and driving out with a vehicle was a whole day. If i had remembered this, i would have packed a sack lunch and plenty of snacks (low blood sugar affects me), and cancelled all other appointments. We drove in at around noon and left at 6 p.m. This is not unusual since my son took this amount of time when he got his car at another dealership. If you come prepared, picking a car and driving out with it is a very enjoyable experience at San Tan Hyundai.

Rusty Low was very thorough and listened to the needs I had in a vehicle. The interest rate was increased on me during the pricing process and not revealed to me, which I felt was sneaky. I purchased a 2015 Hyundai Veloster as a 3rd vehicle for kiddo hauling duties. The car is great and very useful. This dealership has friendly employees that really take care of you. There was a small issue with my car windows not being tinted that they promptly scheduled to take care of the issue. They are very easy to deal with and really treat you well. I have a 2015 Corvette and 2015 Durango. The service for both of those vehicles could learn a bunch from San Tan Hyundai!

Easiest car buying experience yet. I searched online and found a car I was interested in and sent over a request for more info. A couple hours later I got an email with a very fair price and an invitation to come in for a test drive. I went down a couple days later and met up with Jay in sales. He took me out to the vehicle and we took it out for a drive. We came back and he asked if I wanted to see where we were at on it. I already picked my bank and had my APR set so I let them know. He came back with my APR and the price quoted online. Really I had no reason to haggle. We agreed on the deal and while waiting for finance, jay went through all the owners manuals, warranty info, etc with me which made it go by fast. As soon as he was done off to Brandon in finance. He showed me what my options were for GAP, extended warranty etc with no pressure to buy. All around great experience.

Jay was amazing! I really enjoyed my experience because of him. The changed slightly because of going to Finance. I had questioned the need for my auto butler that was added into the price and wanted to reaffirm that it could be done anywhere that provides that service as Jay had stated. I was told from the Finance guy who helped me that it was only good at San Tan and that if I didn't want the auto butler I'd have to get an additional warranty that I really didn't need at an additional cost of $1K over the price of the auto butler. At that time I felt lied to but would rather keep the auto butler that I wouldn't use than pay more for another service I was told I really wouldn't need. After meeting with finance I met back up with Jay to go over the booklets provided for the car. I expressed my concern about feeling lied to. He apologized and stated that auto butler is nation wide it's not just offered at San Tan and I'd have to research where would be convent for me for that maintenance. He also stated that if I researched and found that there was no place convent to my location to let him know and that they'd make it right and get me money back if it turns out it's something I won't be able to take advantage of. I haven't done my research yet on that but Jay really helped to relieve the stress I felt after visiting with Finance. I felt lied to and that time with finance almost ruined my car buying experience as a whole. Jay is a great salesman, I never felt pressured about anything. For my first car buying experience as an adult Jay made the process seem like visiting an old friend. He is simply amazing!

I went in wanting to just get some detail work done on my 2012 Sonata. When I got in, I also just decided to see what I might be able to do to get into a newer vehicle. I worked with Joe Akers, and , within only a few hours, I drove out in a brand new Sonata. Joe was great, asking pertinent questions about what I liked and wanted to keep. In the end, we stuck with the Turbo, but also went with the Sport, and in the Urban Sunset. He went over exactly how everything worked in the vehicle, from the turbo itself to the bluelink to the protections. He also front ended the finance, so all I had to do was talk with them and sign papers, which also went smooth. As mentioned, I was out in a matter of hours with a vehicle I could afford, looked great and was delivered with perfect appearance. I even got a ride to the airport while they detailed my new car.Thanks Joe!

I priced out a 2014 Santa Fe Sport Turbo online and went in to San Tan Hyundai. Jason Dunlap greeted us and then came the most pleasurable car buying experience I've ever had. I left a review for the great sales experience I had here in 2012 when I bought my car, and now I am writing to compliment the positive post-sale experience I receive in the Service Center. Based on the comparable cost of an oil change that San Tan Hyundai offers (which includes a car wash you don't get elsewhere), I decided to bring my car here for all oil changes. Because of the great service I receive each time, I return for my routine maintenance and service. In the past two years I have only brought my car here and have never been disappointed. In fact, I am always impressed by the service I receive. Specifically I would like to compliment my Service Advisor, Jonathan Wilson, who consistently exceeds my expectations by not only addressing the issue I bring my car in for, but by doing all necessary research (calling Hyundai, checking my warranty information, anticipating my concerns) to ensure that any questions I may have for him are already answered when he gives me the status and updates on my car. On a recent major repair, he called Hyundai to secure a loaner car for me to use at no charge for the five days my car would be in the shop awaiting a part. He had this taken care of and secured for me before I even knew that I would not be able to leave in my car; anticipating my question "what I am supposed to do without a car for five days". Yesterday my car was in for a scheduled repair and another issue was found. The part for the newly discovered repair was not in stock and had to come from the Avondale location (42 miles away). Although I would have gladly come back when the part was in, Johnny went to the trouble of getting the part to their shop so that the repair could be done on the same visit to save me a trip back. Regardless of the reason for my visit, no matter how big or small, Johnny always provides a great experience and thanks me for being a great customer. Because of the service he provides I am a return customer and will continue to only bring my car to San Tan Hyundai service center. I highly recommend this dealership. This purchase was suppose to be a pre qualified application. Surprise not cost 1000 down and found out later they ran it through 15 loan companies after we Recieved the vehicle which destroyed the credit rating and some company's made counter offers which was never extended to us. So they went with an unheard of company. The contract was changed after purchase and finance company wanted more info that was hard to get because dealer gave wrong info. 1000 down was to be 30 day delay but was put through bank twice before the thirty days were up. And was treated as if I was lying about it bouncing twice. All in all this was the worst buying experience ever buying my house was easier and faster. Also told warrentee transfered 100,000 ten year but found out it don't only 5 years.. would not recommend this place to my worst enemies.

I recently traded in a 2011 Hyundai Sonata that has had so many problems and repairs, there are too many to list. I have been complaining about a grinding noise and air conditioning working intermittently for over a year and everytime I took it in, no issues they could find. Went in several times regarding same issues + many others. Once the warranty expired and continues problems continued, they found the grinding noise and air conditioning was due to bad compressor, they would not honor warranty, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM WELL BEFORE MY WARRANTY EXPIRED. Friendly service (Im sure they are paid bonuses on customer service so this is a given), terrible quality of work and car. I will never buy a Hyundai again. Just got rid of this car and it is like a monkey off my back, finally!!!!

I admit all the commercials on TV about summer clearance prices peaked my interest. I happened to go to San Tan Hyundai but I explained that I didn't really want to give up my 10 year old Frontier especially since just last month I dropped a charm off of my favorite necklace and it fell down the steering column. With every speed bump I prayed it would fall out but it never did! I couldn't resist the price and the features on the 2014 Tucson and do you know that Jason found that charm and called me the very next day! I can't tell you how happy I am!

Jason responded to my request for a quote via email very quickly. His email seemed very professional and he emailed me the exact information that I wanted. I spoke to Jason on the phone and he was very patience and very nice. He answered more questions that I had and some were repetitive. He didn't seem to mind. He has a great personality. Upon meeting him, he was the same as he was over the phone. He was very professional, polite, knowledgeable, and funny. He is a great salesperson because he DO NOT hassle you into buying something. He let you take your time. You can ask him anything and everything you want. I knew what I wanted when I arrive. I wanted the Elantra since speaking with Jason on the phone. Because of Jason, it was the most comfortable and FUN experience I have had buying a car. A week later, he let me come back to program my Bluetooth and check my locks. Everything is great now. From the moment I arrived at the dealership, I received phenomenal service. Oscar was willing to show me and sit while I test drove over 15 different cars of various models, styles and colors. He was patient, friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. I even had the chance to work with Michael, the sales manager who was went above and beyond to provide me with excellent service and making sure every one of my needs and concerns were met. I really felt like part of the family. I was so afraid of the car buying process, but I didn't have to be when I reached the finance office and had the opportunity to work with Richard. He kept everyone laughing while he processed all the paper work and got me a great interest rate. I was so incredibly impressed by the professionals and service at this dealership. I brought my sister and her fiance with me and they've become very interested in purchasing their own Hyundai because of the service I received while purchasing my car. We went in on Saturday because we were interested in looking at the Hyundai Elantra. We were originally asked to see another salesman, but fortunately for us, that salesman turned us over to Jack Doucette!! Jack knows cars!! And he knows people and knows how to listen to what they are looking for. If that wasn't enough, he's just a great all around nice guy. We ended up driving home an Elantra Limited and love it. We so enjoyed our experience that we suggested to our daughter to go check them out and on Monday that's just what she did with us in tow! She ended up driving home the Elantra Limited GT and loves it!! Of course Jack was her salesman!!Everyone that we met on Saturday and again on Monday in the finance department were all so helpful and kept working to get the best price, interest rate and trade in for both deals. I had to run back to sign an additional form and met with a different finance person and there was no break in customer service. Every person we encountered from sales, to service, to finance and the General Manager could not have been a nicer group of people!! In any type of business when you deal with the public, all you really have that will set you apart from the competition is customer service from you and your employees!! In all of our years of purchasing cars, this was by far the best experience we have ever had. We will definitely go back to Earnhardt San Tan Hyundai to purchase again. I went into San Tan Hyundai on a whim to look at trading in my '04 Santa Fe for a new Sonata. I did not have an appointment and the dealership was pretty busy that day. The salesman, Garrett, took some time before his next appointment to show me the Sonata's. Billy Whittmann did a great job of working to get me a deal on my trade and a payment that was close to what I was used to. Jack Doucette went through everything I needed to know about the new car and the Bluelink services that came with it for the free trial. He was very informative and helpful; patient through all of my questions and thorough in his explanations. He followed up a couple of days later to see how I was liking the car, which I appreciated as well. After having my Santa Fe and it being such a great car, I knew I'd be getting a new Hyundai. Courteous, professional, amiable, respectful, accomodating, consultative...the list goes on and each word describes both the people and sales experience at this dealership. The fairness of the deal and transparent communication were fantastic. This is a long a favorable review. Why? Because this dealership wholly deserves it!Courteous: They know buying a car is a big decision. In my case, I was only 9 months into a car I just bought in October from another dealer/brand and just didnt love the car I had. I went to San Tan Hyundai for advice. Far before we talked "sale" they offered advice. Sound corny? It's not. They truly focused on features and benefits and helped me work on a game plan to get out of a car I didnt love and into one I did.Professional: Let's be realistic, car buyers need to save it and dealers need to make it - money. Noone complains when paying a 70% margin on a new TV from someplace like Best Buy, but consumers gripe when a dealer makes $1500 on a $30,000 deal...Meeting in the middle is key and they were professional and transparent about their needs as I was mine. It went a long way in understanding what we needed to accomplish. Mutual education was important and well received.Amiable & Respectful: the dealership knew I was looking at other vehicles. They didn't bash or trash talk other brands or other dealers, rather they focused on the Hyundai brand features and benefits. They didnt make me feel wrong for considering other options and provided concrete data for pros & cons. No scare tactics, no pressure. Accomodating & Consultative: The dealership General Manager and salesperson listened to what I wanted to accomplish and what my needs were. They knew I was short on time (as we had just had a baby) and tired. This entire deal was done with less than 20 minutes in the actual dealership (to merely fill out a credit app and let them do a trade appraisal). The day after I visited to do the credit app and trade-in appraisal visit, we did the entire deal with me at home and with a couple of phone calls, an email and mostly a handful of text messages. Talk about accomodating! They even printed all of the paperwork and brought it by our house (along with the new car) and did the delivery right at our home, knowing it was hard for us to get out with a new baby at home. If that's not accomodating, I don't know what is! Ryan was amazing, concerned for our time when it was he working after hours to deliver a vehicle to us when it was convenient for us, then taking time to train us on the vehicle and explain anything we wanted.To all those looking for a vehicle: This is a fair and reasonable dealer. I have worked in relation to the auto industry for many years and have come across many car dealers (personally and professionally). I would place this dealership and their outstanding personnel in the highest echelon of positive experiences. The General Manager (Tom), his people and especially his sales-person, Ryan Plunkett, were a real pleasure to work with and have wholly earned my respect and future referrals.

I think everyone should know not to work with Kent at San Tan Hyundai. I worked with him all day about a car and even went as far as having him take photos to prove they had the car and spoke with him as I was driving to go get the car only to learn a deal had been going for awhile. So I drive an hour to San Tan only to find out the car had been sold. Manage your clients expectations. Be honest and let your customer know hey they are working a deal on this car... Maybe then I would have said okay well that's unfortunate, what else can we work out. Can you find me another car. Instead the dishonesty left me feeling extremely upset. Needless to say I will not be doing business with San Tan Hyundai.

Craig Darrow was my sales person, he was awesome! He went out of his way to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. When I said I wanted a white car, even though there wasn't one any where in PHX, his response was NO problem, they went to Yuma and got one! I received great service not only from sales, but from the Finance department as well, Nick Covert was friendly, fast and efficient. They agreed to a deal on Saturday and when I came back on Tues, when the car was delivered, that's exactly what I got. NO bait and switch. No tricks, just treats :). The customer service at San Tan Hyundai is incredible. I was at another Hyundai dealership and I was not getting what I wanted. They tried to give me $2000 under my bluebook price. I told them no way dude!! I immediately called Bob Schoeppel from San Tan Hyundai he Unfortunately was on vacation. But that did not stop him from handing me over to the Internet dept. and I got Jason Dunlap. He said come see me and I'll get you what you want. And HE DID and More...WOOHOO!! He also got me the blue book price for my Mercedes 2002 CLK 320. My husband works for a big company out here in Arizona and we are definitely going to be telling his employees or whoever to go see Jason Dunlap in the internet Dept. for all of your needs...

I had the worst car buying experience ever here. Went to look at the Elantra Limited but they did not have any in stock. They said I could put down a deposit and they would hold one for me when they came in later in the month. Worked up a purchase price including trade in which they had me sign,gave me a copy, and I gave them $200. Two weeks later I called and they said they had the car for me. I asked the salesperson (Jason Dunlap) three times on the phone if any of the figures were going to change. He firmly stated no, that it was a done deal, this was the price, and to come in and get the car. When I got there, the car was there and we went for a test drive. We then went to his office and he filled out all the sales papers, took the title to my trade in, took off the license plate, had me sign all the papers and said he would be right back and we would head over to financing. An hour and a half later he finally came back to his office where I was waiting and stated that he would not be able to give me as much for my trade in. Needless to say, I was livid after wasting all that time and being lied to in the process. He had no answer for me when I asked him why he told me it was "a done deal" on the phone and now the figures are changing. I told him I was not going to pay anymore and to refund my deposit. I had him put my license plate back on my car and I left. I will never go there again and unless you want to be taken for a long ride to no where, I would highly recommend that you don't try to buy a car there.

Car was brought in for warranty work on dummy lights. While in I was told the seat belt light was not covered under the recall and $300+ worth of work to the seat belt was needed. I told the service rep the light was not on when I brought the car in and had never been on so I refused the work. I was however charged for a seat belt light diagnostic test. I discussed this with the service representative who then rechecked with the technician who insisted it was indeed on. When I asked why it wasn't on when I got the car back he claimed to have reset it but that it would come back on eventually. Before writing this I gave them an opportunity to respond via their online survey, which they did not. Also I have waited for several months to be sure the light would not come on and sure enough it has not. It was my first visit to San Tan Hyundai and was very impressive at first, but this incident turned a great customer service experience into a negative overall impression of the dealership as I feel I was cheated. I don't trust them and won't be back. Be wary if you bring your car in for service.

Jason Dunlap passed us on to a salesman, who passed us on to a manager...when asked how much we wanted to spend, we said $23,000 (as I already had an internet bid at 23,500 from another dealer...)the salesman after consulting with the manager came back with an offer of 28,500. So we picked ourselves up and left...the manager then came running out after us - claiming no one had ever left before (I can't imagine that)...he then offered us 23,300 if we stayed right then otherwise the price was off the table...we drove away.We received at least 2 phone calls reiterating the offer - but we were on our way to another dealership...the internet bid.Ultimately we bought the car at a third dealership - that afternoon, so obviously San Tan blew the deal BIG TIME!I would not recommend this dealership to anyone!!!

Salesman was rude when I asked to see Factory Invoice on the car I was interested in and told me I would never get it at that price anywhere. He also told me that they were all sold out of the car I was intereseted in and that he couldn't call other dealers to see if they had some in stock. And then!, he tried to up sale me to a more expensive car! I did end up buying a hyundai from a different dealer, but I will never take it to get serviced at the San Tan dealership!
