We needed to buy a car ASAP. The sales man didn't even introduce himself when we arrived. What a way to start off our buying experience. Needless to say. There was not a follow up call the next day with our inquiry on the price, color interior and exterior that he offered.So on to the next Lexus dealer!

LIke the title says, I love this dealership, immaculate and prestige service. When I walked through the door I was greeted immediately and from there a salesman named Doug showed me the truck I was interested in and made it a great experience from there. I have bought 5 Lexus's from Scanlon. Heather, Suzanne and Glenn have taken such good care of me. I bought my grand daughter her first and second Lexus there. This week she went in for an oil change and Glenn advised her there were some issues that needed to be addressed and they were still under warranty. She is 22 and Glenn treats her as if she was his daughter. Everytime I go there either for a car wash or repairs I am treated like family. It is hard to find a company the have the qualities of being Professional and treating their customers like Family. Thanks Glenn for taking such good care of her! You're just the best!!!

This dealer is outstanding in all respects. Have bought three cars from them in the past four years. They are honest and easy to communicate with. You can get much good info over the phone with them. Unlike other dealers they do not waste your time and they listen to what you want. I will always go back there and tell them what I want. They will get it at a reasonable price. Purchased a certified pre owned 2014 Lexus rx350. Ray Matthews was a pleasure to deal with. No high pressure sales tactics. Showed me vehicles that met my buying needs and didn't try to sell me just any vehicle simply to make a sale. Once the sale was complete, was handed off to Jim Renda. Jim made sure the paperwork process went smoothly. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to review all the car's functionality before I left the dealership. If you are in the market for a Lexus, this is the dealership to go to.

Circumstances forced us to replace our existing car. We visited the Scanlon Dealership and were impressed by the no-pressure, friendly approach of their staff and the cleanliness of the facilities. Raymond Matthews, our sales rep, was to the point and honest. We completed the required paperwork with a young man named Reilly who was both friendly and accommodating to my wife's requests, Then came Bill, their technical expert, to set up the bluetooth phone connection. Tara, and employee in the Service Department, deserves recognition as well. Shes looking forward to providing our free oil changes...this said with a beautiful smile.We drove out is a sleek new car all with a minimum of effort with no tension. I can truly say the "extraction of our money in payment for the car" was truly painless. We love our 2011, Lexus RX350, delivered by Scanlon Lexus. Still under warranty with about 25K we purchased the RX used from the 1st owner. After some months we noticed deep cracks in the fake leather seats. This is normal said the customer consultant at Scanlon in Ft Myers. A year later, still under warranty, we returned the Lexus. Cracks were deeper and the fake leather started to crack open. Normal said the regional service inspector. He didnt even look at the car, just an emailed photo. Now, with 55 000 miles, and no warranty left, the seats look terrible. With leather partly gone we sit on the electric seat heater. How safe is this! We got an estimate, $4000 to fix the problem. I expected more from a luxury brand dealer. Customer in focus not at Scanlon in Ft Myers in my opinion. We have tried to reach out to the dealership several times, but they show no interest in solving the problem. Sad, we still love our RX350.

When I first walked into Scanlon Lexus I was still undecided on what vehicle I wanted and was unsure if Lexus was even worth the price tag at the end of the day. But after meeting with Doug Cahn and test driving the RX-350 I was amazed at how wonderful the vehicle drove. Doug answered all of my questions and was a wealth of knowledge when it came to the Lexus brand. Even more impressive was after purchasing the vehicle from Scanlon, I had a few minor questions regarding the car and reached out to the dealership a few weeks late for some clarity. I left a voicemail but then thought, Let me just call Doug!". He picked up on the second ring and was able to answer all of my questions with no issues. Now that is true customer service! A big thanks to Scanlon Lexus and a special shout out to Doug Cahn for making me a Lexus believer. Love the car and will go nowhere else!!

My first purchase of a car via an internet find. I am in NC and contacted Doug Cahn about a car listed on the internet. Doug was very responsive and provided all the information for me to make a decision. He assured me that buying remotely was safe and that I would be satisfied. The process turned out to be simpler than buying from a local dealer! We agreed to the deal on a Saturday and the next Friday the car was delivered to my front door. Bruce Hartman, service consultant, went over, above and beyond to service our Lexus RX 350! He contacted Lexus for a good faith effort on replacing our radio amp that had already been replaced 20 months ago. Lexus agreed to split the cost with us and we were back with music within a week! The care and efficiency of the service department and Bruce was top notch. We can't recommend Scanlon Lexus enough and are pleased that Lexus cooperated with the request. That is why we have purchased several Lexus automobiles!

After my Honda Accord was totaled from a falling oak tree, I was forced to purchase a replacement vehicle. Having been a long time Honda/Acura customer, I pretty much knew what I wanted. I found the a 2013 Accord EX-L on the internet and contacted Scanlon to get more information, etc. I received a very prompt reply from Annette Keohane and the process started. I was very impressed w/ Annettte and ended up making a deal by phone. I then drove the 4 hours from Volusia county to Ft Meyers to complete the purchase of this vehicle. The car was even nicer than Annette had described and the purchase was completed. I highly recommend Annette and this dealership.

I live out of state and saw a used car on there web site and luckily got connected with Annette, she handles internet sales. She walked me through the car as she sat it in...telling me if it smelled like smoke, any scuff marks, dents, etc. She always got back to me when she had to find out an answer. She is a very honest salesperson which is very hard to come by these days. I have been looking for this specific vehicle for a while now and encountered some salespeople who I wouldn't buy a cup of coffee off of. The buying process was painless and can't say a bad thing about her or the entire experience. The car was ready when promised, and car exactly as she described to me. She sent me several pictures of the car so I could look at a few things closer. She went out of her way to give GREAT customer service. I highly recommend her!!

This is the eighth time I've bought a car from a dealer, but I wish all the other experiences were just like this one. This was also second time I did a long-distance car purchase. What first impressed me was when I asked the Scanlon sales rep (Wagner Brenes) for detailed info about the car and installed options, instead of the vague information I received from other Lexus dealers, he sent me a copy of the actual window sticker that was on the car when it was new (so there was no guessing). Sadly I was told the car I wanted had a pending sale, but that I would be contacted if the deal fell through. Sure enough, a couple of weeks later the same car was available again and Wagner contacted me immediately. I sent my car inspector out and all went well, but there were a few issues (small door ding, a couple of hood scratches to be buffed out, mis-aligned carpet, etc.) I wanted taken care of for the agreed upon price. Everything was fixed quickly and completely to my satisfaction. For a small fee, Scanlon even took care of the California DMV paperwork, and also found an auto transport company to ship the car to me for same price and sooner than I could get one shipped on my own. Thank you Wagner Brenes and Scanlon Lexus!

I would highly recommend this dealership and the two individuals with whom I worked, Doug Cahn (internet sales) and Billy Dunn (finance). After many weeks of trying to work with subpar salespeople who misrepresented the cars, failed to note that a car of interest was under contract until I visited the dealership or were not responsive, I was pleased to have the opportunity to work with Doug. I flew down twice from Atlanta to Fort Myers within 5 days to first test drive a used RX 350 and then to purchase the car. The entire experience, from negotiating price to finalizing the cash purchase, was easy and enjoyable. Doug Cahn is very experienced and customer-oriented. He is transparent and professional and goes out of his way to ensure that the entire car buying process is smooth for the customer. Billy Dunn is also very upfront and knowledgeable. The dealership puts a lot of resources into ensuring their used cars are in outstanding shape. My car, although it has 50k miles, has already had its 60k service, two new tires, a nav update and more. The showroom and lot is large and there is plenty from which to choose (new and pre-owned). If you are looking for a Lexus, you would do yourself a favor to contact Scanlon Lexus. They live up to their excellent reputation.

I am a professional who lives in Austin, Texas and recently bought a used Lexus sight unseen from Scanlon Lexus and a salesman named Wagner. As you can imagine I was very anxious about the purchase. The transaction was complicated since I had to wire money and title documents had to be overnighted back and forth and the car had to be shipped 1260 miles. When the car arrived it was beautifully detailed. But this model Lexus has many intricate systems and one of the adjustments worked in one direction, but not another. Though not legally obligated to do so Scanlon managed even this small problem professionally and promptly. They were tested and passed with flying colors. My experience with this dealership was unquestionably five stars. I will buy from them again and that transaction will probably be sight unseen again. What better recommendation could there be that that?

I was due for a new car, so on a rainy Friday my husband and I went "shopping". I was interested in two vehicles.....the Lexus RX350 and the Acura MDX. Our first stop was at a Lexus dealer in the Naples area. We met with a salesman and took a vehicle for a test drive. When we sat down to discuss options/price with the salesman, he was very vague. He didn't seem to want to discuss price, and told us he would get back to us the following week. My husband and I walked away somewhat confused. We then went to an Acura dealer where, again, we took a vehicle for a test drive. I liked both vehicles but had never had experience with an Acura before. So, we decided to visit another Lexus dealer (Scanlon) and that is where we met Paul Melendez. He was polite, professional, and enthusiastic about working with us to find our vehicle. My husband can be a tough negotiator but that didn't faze Paul. With a smile on his face and always the gentleman, he was willing to do what he could to come to an agreement with my husband. Before and after purchase, Paul took the time to show us the different options and how they worked. He also suggested that if I have any questions to call him or drop in. I was greeted with a sincere smile and a handshake by Ray Matthews. A real gentleman who knows when to listen and when to speak. He listened to my list of 3 used cars I had researched online, asked me to please have a (very comfortable) seat while he promptly got the keys and a plate. He brought each car to the front door valet style, gave me time to look it over and came along when I was ready to test drive them. He answered a few questions while we drove and pointed out a few features but didn't bombard me with too much info. He also gave me time to look the car over again before moving onto the next car. Very knowledgeable about the brand and the dealership's benefits. He allowed me to leave without undue pressure to close the deal right then. He promptly sent a thank you email, which was waiting for me when I arrived home. I came back the next day to close on the car I liked best. All in all, a great experience with a great salesman.

Doug made the negotiations very straightforward and made sure the exact RX350 we wanted was ready and waiting when we returned from vacation. Doug went above and beyond to make sure our experience was "Truly Outstanding"! I found Doug Cahn to be very responsive and helpful from the first time I contacted him through the internet to sitting down in person to finalize the deal. He was informative, did not try to hype the sale, and delivered on both the price we agreed to and the introduction to the vehicle. This is my fourth Lexus vehicle (and third dealer) and I've always be impressed with the quality of their customer service. Doug Cahn was no exception.

Though I originally gave them a 1-star rating, I felt that I should revise that to at least provide an additional star. Though the facts have not changed from the original review, there is additional information. I had a worse experience with Lexus of Pembroke Pines, who resorted to insulting me and acting very unprofessional. Bill Smith of Scanlon Lexus did call me up to apologize and admit they did drop the ball at every step of the process. He assumed I purchased elsewhere and was just trying to apologize and see if there was a way to earn my service business. He did keep it professional and did not resort to calling me names or belittling me (as 2 people did at another dealership). He did provide his personal cell phone number to call if I decide to change my mind in the future. I appreciate the gesture. Perhaps I am still overly upset at the way it was originally mishandled to consider it. In any event, I had contacted cars.com to see if I could revise my original review, but was told that I could not, and the best I could do was to post a follow up, and this is the reason for that. So, to summarize: I was told to come in under false pretenses (below invoice - just not determined how much below) -and then told I could pay MSRP if I wanted it My time was wasted - (consultant - bill hourly, lost several hours of billable time) The people who were supposed to see me never saw me during my visit My follow up emails were ignored by my original contact (Doug) and Wagner I heard nothing until after my initial post on cars.com Bill Smith finally called me and admitted they dropped the ball at every step. On the positive side: Bill Smith kept it professional. At no point did he ever shift the blame to me or insult me or belittle me in any way. You should see some of the emails I received from Sal Kamal and Jon Whitney of Lexus and Subaru of Pembroke Pines. If I were the owner/manager, they would not be working there. This post is to simply revise from a 1-star to a 2-star rating because at least they maintained a level of professionalism.

We contacted Wagner Brenes prior to driving the 2 plus hours over to Scanlon Lexus, as we live in Boca Raton. After the pleasant discussion with Wagner, we decided to take the ride over to the west coast to meet with Wagner and look at the vehicle, a 2013 IS 250. We were greeted by the young lady at the reception desk and asked if we would like a refreshment while we waited for Wagner which was less than 5 minutes. Wagner was a delight. He was very professional, down to earth with a great personality. He had an answer to all of our questions. We were extremely pleased with the offer process. Minimal haggling. No stress! We wanted the vehicle, Scanlon Lexus wanted to sell it and the deal was made. While we were waiting for Billy Dunn, the finance manager, to finish with another customer, Wagner set up my IPhones in the vehicle and also set the navigation with my home address so I had my driving directions programmed to go home back to Boca which was great. He also went through some key features of the vehicle. Billy Dunn was a joy to deal with as well. He made us very comfortable and made the financing part of the transaction painless. We had a wonderful experience at Scanlon Lexus. I absolutely love my 2013 IS 250. We have owned other Lexus vehicles in the past. The vehicles speak for themselves. However, good customer service is hard to come by, especially these days, but not as Scanlon Lexus. It has been a pleasure doing business with Scanlon Lexus and Wagner Brenes. We will refer Scanlon Lexus and Wagner Brenes to our friends and family. It was definitely worth the long drive! Many thanks to Scanlon Lexus and all involved in this transaction.

After a shaky start two years ago with the purchase of a 2007 CPO RX350 from Scanlon that was not up to par and Scanlon kept saying a decision had not been made ....I returned for another scheduled service and the advisor informed me that the oil change was not complimentary and next time i might want to buy a "new" Lexus, I simply turned around and walked out. I contacted LEXUS USA over my unresolved issues and they went overboard and made the vehicle right and then some, although at another dealership. Move forward 18 months my wife was heading out from Fort Myers to Las Vegas and the vehicle was due for service so I figured let's get it done I am in town. I contacted Glenn Bischoff and he had my vehicle serviced in a timely manner and gave me my complimentary oil change (lifetime service came with the car).He came to me and asked me to check the tires and made me a super offer on a new set of Michelines with 4 wheel allignment so I made an appointment for the following week when I was scheduled to pick up my wife from the airport. Again, Glenn and the service was superb and timely. I initially went in expecting the worse after a lousy sales experience with Drew as he never insured the car issues got resolved and my previous service dept experience, that I bought my daughters at another Lexus dealership. I can say without reservation that if you need service on your vehicle Glenn is your man, unpretentious, friendly and most important professional in every respect. I am glad I went and thanks to Glenn have a renewed sense of confidence towards the Scanlon service dept.

I had been looking for a Lexus for sometime and happenned to find one that I liked on this dealers website. I called the number and Doug answered, it was 8AM! Doug told me about the car, asked me about my trade and told me the financing options. I went to the dealer that evening and met Doug- the deal was excactly what he had told me earlier and he even tinted the windows for me. Besides the car being beautiful, and the price being more than fair- the dealership is a warm, friendly place and Doug is the nicest, most knowledgable salesmen I have ever dealt with. When I had to go meet the dreaded finance guy- he turned out to be great too- not pushing me into anything I didn't want. When we were all done, the dealership gave me a box of Norman Love chocolates to make the experience perfect. I live much closer to another Lexus dealer and drove past it to get to Scanlan after having a bad experience with them, and it was so worth the extra few minutes to get to Scanlon. I'm a lifelong customer.

We leased a new 2013 ES350 from Scanlon on Sat. 5/4. We dealt with Gary Behnken. This was our second transaction with Gary. Previously we had leased a 2010 ES350. They bought the car out of the lease early and put us into the 2013 at a very good price. Gary was wonderful to deal with, again. All the staff with whom we interacted with were great as well. This was the best car buying experience that we have had on our 50 years of car buying. Highly recommend Scanlon and Gary Behnken.

Buying a car over the internet started out a little scary. But the people at Scanlon made it a very pleasurable experience. We traveled from the Orlando area to Ft. Myers for my lovely new Lexus RX350. Doug Cahn got the deal I wanted and was SUPER NICE and helpful over the phone to get everything set up. Billy Dunn called me with paperwork questions so that he could have everything ready when we arrived. Doug patiently walked me through all the controls and answered all my questions. There was never any pressure to upsell when it came time for the paperwork, which was a very pleasant departure from my previous car buying experiences. No games, no pressure, just a straightforward, good deal on a beautiful car. These folks were so nice and so helpful I would definitely recommend them to others in the market for a car.

This is an excellent dealership and cares about you the individual and seeing that you are comfortable and well taken care of when they sell you a vehicle. Our salesman Gary Behnken has treated us with respect and friendliness since our first encounter in 2000, when we came from another dealership where we were treated with disrespect. As a result we have purchased 7 vehicles over the last 13 years from this salesman and dealership. We recommend this dealer and salesman to all our friends and will continue to do so. The service department has been great and done a super job servicing and repairing our vehicles and Dan Hoffman is a fine example of how a service manager should operate. We will not go elsewhere for our auto needs unless the vehicle loses it's appeal or becomes to costly.

We purchased a used 2012 Camaro from Lexus of Fort Meyers. Everything went smooth. But when the car was received it had just one key. After 8 weeks of asking, begging etc we had to organize and pay for one by ourselves. We think it is essential to deliver a 2012 used car with at least two keys.

As my purchase was sight unseen, over the internet, Doug provided an excellent description of the vehicle I found for sale on an internet auto sales web page. Doug went the extra mile by taking additional pictures for me and confirming the interior did not smell foul. Doug held my hand as we went through the sales process, organizing all the paperwork and organizing the hiring to transport the car to my front door. I purchased a 2005 RX330 from this dealership earlier this year, Shaun Volkmann was the internet sales person I worked with. A completely painless experience using my own credit union for financing. My dealings with this dealership were superior, and I came back a second time this month. While walking the lot as my RX330 was being serviced - I noticed a 2006 LS430 in pretty nice condition. I spoke with Shaun and discovered he had been promoted - but offered to connect me with a sales person. I worked with Doug Cahn to purchase this vehicle - and again had exceptional service. As a special consideration on this deal, Doug was able to make the vehicle available to me on time Saturday, even though there were some outstanding items that management typically required to release the vehicle. Being a repeat customer, I can attest that I have had two solid and professional experiences with this dealership. Included in the package - a three year warrant on this particular vehicle, lifetime free oil changes, and pick-up/drop-off service to my doorstep with a loaner vehcile as required to support maintenance activities as long as I own this vehicle. Can't imagine it getting any better - but I look forward to my next purchase at Scanlon.

***********Addendum to this Review: The General manager William Smith gave me a courtesy call to follow up on my experience with the dealership. He was very nice and extremely professional. He expressed and apologized for the misunderstanding and expressed his willingness to correct the mistake. We actually had a nice long conversation. After that, I would actually consider buying a car from them again. He actually offered to give a great deal on one of their Luxurious Lexus. I have to admit, he was a very nice, courteous, honest person, not like your regular dealer sales manager and I would recommend anyone to deal with him. He would probably give you a fantastic deal on those nice cars. I wish they have another BMW 5 series that I like, I would buy it from this gentleman in heart beat.

I found the car that I wanted, but it was 130 miles away at Scanlon Lexus in Fort Myers, FL. I sent an inquiry through the dealership site and very soon received an email response and a phone call from Doug Cahn with internet sales.
