Cannot say anything bad about the staff or the experience. My wife LOVES her mini (08 Convertible Sidewalk Edition S) and is very picky about servicing. Our Service Adviser Amanda was extremely attentive and communicative. The Technician Uriah provided topnotch service and everything was done in a single day. One of the coolest and helpful parts of the visit is that they send you a video walkthrough of your inspection so that you can see what they see. Would HIGHLY recommend!

I always love going to Mini to get my car serviced. Darrell and the staff there take such good care of everyone. Even if you have to sit for two hours. I always bring stuff to do and It never feels as long as it actually is. I love getting to check out the new minis and I get my car washed. Since I am moving I’m going to miss everybody in Tacoma.

Amanda and the service tech Dylan that helped me this very morning were beyond excellent! Helpful, yes, professional, yes. The window work and providing the necessary documentation for my insurance perfect! Dylan was thorough, clean, and personable a true asset to that dealership. It can be costly at times to be a MINI owner. But I don't hold that against Seattle MINI where the service I've gotten throughout the years I've been a customer here has been great. Today, after getting my car serviced, I was pleasantly surprised to learn they even include a video from the technician going over all the services they performed. I would happily give them a 5 star but, back in Hawaii, the MINI dealership always returned my vehicle with a wash and vacuum which I always appreciated. So consider this a 4.5 star review 😊

I purchased a new 2015 Mini from Seattle Mini, this was not my reason for visiting the dealership as I went to replace a tire! While waiting I was approached by friendly caring staff inquiring what they could do to make my visit pleasant. Much to my surprise they picked up on my attention to a new 2015 Mini convertible! With no delay they inquired as to how I would feel to own it, I provided them with some information and in a short time frame was informed I could own that car with very little change to my current contract. They took care of all the details and worry! I was rewarded with the car of my dreams and even a surprise birthday gift! Most of all the people there were genuine! They talked with me to find out more about me, my life, career, children, hobbies and so on. Kay McMillan spent a great deal of time with me and I felt totally assured she had MY best interest at heart! Very unique quality in this industry. I have purchased several new cars in the past however she is the only one that truly had my best interest as a priority! We've always loved Minis but thought it wasn't possible. Kay not only helped my 6'5" partner and I find our perfect car, she educated us when other dealers would've pushed what would never have worked for us. We had a budget to work within, and she was pleasant, sincere and never lost her smile (Trust me, I thought we were difficult.) But Kay understood our goals. She never once tried to "sell" us a car, but instead was obviously passionate about Mini and spent time to educate us. After spending time with Kay, the choice was easy. Came in to test drive and purchase a MINI from Seattle Mini, was met by Bill in the lot. I'm assuming he was more than anxious to get to the "company party" that was starting according to the sign on the door (in an hour), so I was not offered a test drive on the car I pointed out I was interested in, and even worse than that, he was condescending in so many ways. Asking me "do you need to check with your husband first" was one of many shocking comments. I purchase all our vehicles in our family and was shocked. It continued poorly, I guess he really didn't think I was seriously going to "buy" a MINI. Needless to say, PORTLAND mini got my business on a brand new 2016 countryman where the salesman was night and day.

This is my second Mini purchase and because of Kay, this car purchase was the best experience I've ever had. Kay is knowledgeable, engaging and fun and gets the job done without being pushy or manipulative. A very enjoyable experience working with her, as well as Alae, the Sales Manager and Alicia in Finance. Dealerships sell the same vehicles but it is the Customer Service and Sales team that makes for an Outstanding Dealership and Alae and his team have done that for Seattle Mini.I had went to Seattle Mini back in March 2015 and the experience was less than par to what I think Mini standards should be. I received a call from the New Sales Manager, Alae Laarissi to see if I was still looking for a Mini. He listened to my dissatisfaction with the experience in March and guaranteed me, that if I would give them another chance, he would make it right. He was true to his word, my experience was GREAT! The whole team worked hard to get me the deal that I worked for me. I will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a Mini to go to Seattle Mini. I hope to be in the Mini family for a long time, at least while Alae and team are there.

The sales team is very casual and relaxed when negotiating the trade-in and purchase price of your new car. We absolutely enjoy this sales "style" and it brings us back for the third purchase of a Mini. However, we are very disappointed that the dealership would not extend the Loyalty Program Discount when paying cash rather than financing the car. It's unfortunate that this puts a bad taste in the purchasers mouth when we prefer not to pay monthly payments. Even if this is a company policy, it should be addressed and extended to ALL owners that continue to purchase future Mini's. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our time with the team. Renee was very friendly and knowledgeable, and Glen was low-key and amusing!

I'm very happy with the entire process at Seattle-Mini. Michael handles the Costco deals, so there was no negotiating about price - just a set amount below MSRP. He was very patient, spent hours with us looking through their entire inventory & going through all the options. We ended up ordering from factory. When it arrived, everything was as it should be. Going through Financing with Glen was a breeze. Although he presented all of Seattle-Mini's optional service packages (a dozen of them), there was no pressure to take one (over the years I've always been pressured by other dealers to take something). So there were no unexpected charges, and no last-minute arm-twisting from "the manager". I paid exactly what Michael told me up front. Every step was as professional as I could imagine. I highly recommend this dealership.

Overall I was very happy with my experience at Seattle Mini. I found Kay McMillen to be, not only incredibly educated on all things Mini, but very friendly and straight-forward in her sales approach. She was more than busy the day I went in to buy the car which means it was hard to get her full attention at the time. I understand the challenges of balancing many clients and duties all at once, but for me, dropping this amount of money on a brand new car deserves a little bit more one-on-one attention. My experience with Glen, the finance guy, was fantastic! He was more than patient with me as I asked many questions and had to have him explain many things in great detail. He too was straight-forward and honest, someone I felt I could really trust.

This was my second car purchase at Seattle Mini after buying my first new Mini here back in 2010. I found Kay to be extremely knowledgeable on this visit. I had the best buying experience yesterday thanks to Ron Yinger! He was awesome through the whole process, super nice and patiently answered all my questions and made me feel at home. The one reason I don't like car shopping is bad experiences with the stereotypical "car salesman" types and Ron broke the mold. My whole family drives Minis and I can say that we'd tell all our friends to go buy a Mini from Ron. I stopped by today and talked with Bill. I am considering a used Mini and looking for information. When I told Bill that I was only researching today and would not be ready to buy for a couple of months, he told me I was wasting his time. He said I could go online and build a Mini, which I know. I also expressed interest in a standard since Edmond's and others suggest manual over automatic transmissions. He said that was not a good idea and that everybody on the internet are idiots. I found him rude and dismissive and he has lost me as a customer.

The last new car I purchased was a Mini Cooper in 2002 in Salt Lake City and drove it home to break it in over the 1200+ miles. Thirteen years later (almost to the day), 240k miles, a couple of clutches and a new engine (plus lots of other old age tweaks), I walked into Seattle Mini to have the oil changed, without any notion of getting a new car. Why should I? The only reason my '02 has so many miles and so many repairs is because I love it and didn't plan on getting rid of it until giving it my now 12 year old daughter to drive at 16. I had told myself several years ago that the only new car I would want would be a four door version of my two door. There on the showroom floor behind the counter was a gun metal silver version of that very car.I approached Kay and stuttered out the words of what it look like to kinda, maybe, sorta, perhaps one day, think about, consider buying a car. I told her what I was thinking of-the new four door-and got what I was asking for. Straight. So I scheduled a test ride for the next day when my daughter could be with me. The next day we met on time. She set us up in a version of what I was looking at but the test car wasn't for me. So we considered other versions and eventually found the one. After giving me the numbers, I wasn't comfortable with the monthly amount so she was willing to discuss another option and the final number was doable. But I wanted to take a few hours to consider (plus my daughter was hungry). After lunch and a drive home to pick up my checkbook, we returned and she walked me through the rest.She sent me to Glen to sign the papers and he was as joyful as a child. Finally, after the rundown on the car's features, just before driving off, Kate approached me one last time. "I have to show you something," she said. She pointed out 4 small nicks in the paint and expressed that she'd be upset if she bought a new car and found that. She gave me a WE OWE YOU slip for repairs to be done this following Tuesday. In addition, I left behind my '02 because I couldn't take both home (and that car is for my daughter), and Kate set up a driver to follow me home on Tuesday with my '02 and bring me back to get my new car with the dings fixed.For a man who just two days ago wasn't a mile within buying a new car, Kay and Glen made the process as easy and as comfortable as could be. I'm very satisfied. And I'll own this car for at least another 13 years.

I just drove home in my BRAND NEW MINI and LOVE IT! Kay was absolutely perfect! She sat down with me and helped me go through all the options when building my car. She brought up things that I would never have thought of and actually made the experience fun! When I thought the delivery of my car would be delayed due to port labor disputes, it wasn't! It arrived right on time and I drove the car home that afternoon! Even the finance portion of the experience was easy. I didn't feel like I was constantly being up-sold or pressured to buy extras. I have dealing with Seattle Mini since I got my first mini in 2008. I leased and was very pleasantly surprised by the excellent customer service. I have worked with Jay Hammon each time I have leased a Mini. He has provided excellent service so much so that I leased my last mini from him while living in New Mexico. He was very helpful and worked with me through email and phone to facilitate my picking up of my newest Mini. Jay helped to keep track of my car so I could arrange flight up to Seattle as soon as it came in. He even picked me up from the airport! I have recommended friends to Jay and they were very happy with the service and follow up he provided. The service center is always helpful too when I have to take my car in to be serviced. I love my Mini and when it is time to get a new one I will have Jay help me again.

I went into the Seattle Mini dealership with my two rowdy boys prepared to feel like I didn't belong. I was pleasantly surprised that they took my young kids and their volume in stride. I was also expecting pressure to buy more car than I had budgeted, but again, Surprise! Jay Hammon held to the numbers I gave him and even found me a few options to choose from so I wouldn't feel like I was settling. I really appreciated the staff there and their professionalism, friendliness and patience. I would definitely recommend checking out this dealership and will check with them when I'm ready to trade in my Mini, which may be never!!

My husband and I were in the market for a new car, coming from a BMW we weren't sure what to expect when we first looked at Mini Cooper's. We visited the local Seattle Mini four times over the course of a month and have never been so comfortable walking into a dealer. From the first visit to the time we signed the papers & drove the car off the lot, we couldn't be happier with the entire experience. We met Salesman, Michael Reichstein on our first visit and he was amazing - no pressure, didn't even ask for our phone number! We spent an hour just talking and that's how it was every time we visited, again NO pressure, no sleezy sales tactics, just a nice guy answering all of our questions and making sure we got the car we wanted. I struggled choosing between two cars and Michael was nothing but patient and helpful, he never pressured us even though it took us a LONG time to make a decision. Michael is an incredible ambassador for Seattle Mini, he's professional, kind, funny, honest (yes HONEST), low key, approachable, knowledgeable, a great storyteller, comes with a strong BMW background and has a good eye for design. Seattle Mini is lucky to have him! We also worked with Glen in finance who was good natured, answered all of my numerous finance questions and made the entire process smooth and within our budget thanks Glen! I went to Seattle Mini with the intent to possibly buy a...well, Mini! What I first noticed is I wasn't attacked by salesmen as I walked out of my car. I was able to browse the small car lot for a bit, then walk in. I was greater by the receptionist and told to help myself to snacks and drinks while she finds a salesperson for me.A few minutes later I met Kay, the salesperson that I dealt with. Kay was nothing short of professional and very all knowing about the Mini Cooper S. I told her what I would like, however I didn't see the car on the lot that met my requirements. She told me not to worry, they have cars "on the roof" and on a lot across the street on the other side of the building. We went upstairs and I saw the car that I wanted. After going over the numbers with her, she would go to her finance manager herself, no bullying from him trying to "make a deal." We haggled a tad, however the deal that I got was very fair for both parties and I was really happy. I wait for 1 1/2 hours to have the car prepped and cleaned and I was told that I could just wait at the office or in the lounge until the paperwork was ready. I was in-and-out of the finance department in less than 30-minutes and on my way to drive home with my new Mini Cooper S. This was one of the best dealers I've ever purchased a vehicle from and I've bought 30+. Outstanding customer service and a great car buying experience!

We purchased a pre-owned MINI yesterday from Jenna at Seattle MINI and the whole experience was top notch. Jenna knows the cars front to back and inside out. She did a great job showing the car and providing a detailed explanation of all controls and features. I've never had a better car demonstration. Jenna and her team were friendly, professional and all around very accommodating through the full sales process. They worked with us to make sure all of our concerns were heard and met. Bob and Glen were great to work with as well, and made the process enjoyable. We drove away that night with an awesome car and big smiles on our faces. Way to go Seattle MINI!

UNFORTUNATELY... This service department is giving MINI a BAD REPUTATION!I LOVE MY MINI!!!! But I will drive to Texas before I go back here. Started with my name being backwards, so they didn't see my appointment. Easy enough to fix!I left my car to have a few things looked at. The list of things they came back with that it needed was different on paper than what the service adviser said. The issues I wanted them to look at did not get addressed. Even after I asked three times. When I picked it up "ready" must have meant something else because I waited another 45 minutes for my car. The service adviser magically disappeared when I went to pay. I was overcharged for "Mini Inspection" that was supposed to be covered in the Oil change. But since I was already an hour into "picking up my car" and no service person around, I paid and vowed to write a review so people don't have high expectations of getting good service here. Funny, I was never sent a customer service rating form. I guess they knew!!!

I'm loving my new Mini. I was at first thinking about getting another Cooper, but Kate showed me the S Coupe model on the floor and encouraged me to give it a test drive. I am so happy that I went with the S Coupe. What an awesome car! and the price was phenomenal! What a great buy! I purchased a MiniCooper about a week ago. Originally a saleswoman named Kay spoke with me and researched the stock to find a great new car for me. After driving other cars in other dealerships I returned and was referred to Kate since it was Kay's day off . I asked for a test drive. Everything went very well. Kate was pleasant, cheerful, amicable, and eager to please. I made an appt. with her for the following day. After thinking over night about my new car choices, I decided to go with a MiniCooper. With a friend, I returned the following day to purchase the car. Everything went very well. Kate admitted to being new and encouraged feedback. The process of buying the car took longer than I thought. Kate was unable to complete the instruction process but I agreed to return the following day. At that point it was discovered that something might be wrong with the microphone in the car. Kate, an employee named Chuwit, and another male employee tried to get it to work. Kate introduced me to the service manager who set me up with an appt. I drove off with the manual and felt that I might be able to learn things on my own. Just driving the car was not a problem. I could safely do so. There were little things that I could not do that bothered me though such as using cruise control and locking the doors automatically etc. I returned to the dealership and spoke with Chuwit who showed me how to do a lot of things, none of which I remember. His accent was strong although he was very nice and obviously wanted a good outcome for me. At that point I was referred to Chuck Hill who is supposed to be the guru who knows it all. I met with him for an hour and a half this afternoon. Chuck, like Chuwit, demonstrated all the things that he knew about the car, never allowing me to try to do them until I mentioned that I would like to try. Chuck was able to engage the microphone so Kate cancelled that service appt. I found Chuck to be extremely knowledgable! However he is a terrible teacher!!! I had a lot of trouble just asking questions without interrupting him, and, as previously stated, he left little opportunity for me to try to learn using a hands on approach. At one point he commented on that; and he said that he knew he was supposed to let me try but he just didn't do it that way. Chuck seemed to think that I should absorb his every word. I came out of there knowing little more than when I went in. It is extremely frustrating to have this wonderful new car that drives very well but not to be able to use it fully. The owner's manual is a joke. I have tried hard with that and had minor success. So for friendliness and knowledge I would definitely have to rate the dealership well, particularly Kate! Also the receptionists were courteous and extremely friendly! The finance guy, Glen, was respectful and friendly as well.But for getting my questions answered I would not give the customer service a very good rating at all! Chuwit was dismissive and Chuck bordered on the ego maniacal in wanting to show me all of his know-how. I know what makes a good teacher. I could do a much better job if I had Chuck's knowledge. Somehow I will learn how to use the features of this car although I'm not sure how.

I found the car I have wanted for a long time. An email to Dave Wolf elicited a quick response. So - my journey began just before 8am. I drove my car home that same evening. All of the staff at Seattle Mini were very friendly. I felt valued. Dave took me on a test drive, gave me a great tour of my new car, made sure my phone was connected and I know how to manage the controls - favorite radio station, etc. and sent me on my way. Minis are great vehicles. What makes them exemplary is the attention from all of the staff regardless of whether you are their personal customer or that of another salesperson. Not only was Dave amazing - the other salesmen were also friendly and encouraging. Seattle Mini has my complete adoration and appreciation. (both in the vehicle service dep't. as well as the sales dep't.),.terrific and classy building design and environment, friendly and very helpful staff, and of course the MINI is a great car!Chuck Hill is top drawer as a helpful, very knowledgeable and friendly person to work with. Steve Bell was also very personable, helpful and fun to work with.... together they're a top team. My wife and I also had the pleasure of dealing with Alicia Carr in the finance dep't.. who we found to be very friendly, respectful, very helpful and courteous.The whole staff seems to be guided by high principles, and we never felt any kind of pressure nor slick sales hype, which is typical of so many dealers and salespeople. Top service, reasonable prices, terrific service dep't.... the owners and management here are doing things right.

Driving and buying this MINI is one of the most fun things I have ever done and I have done alot of super fun stuff in my life. First thing I noticed when I walked into Seattle Mini is that I didn't feel like a target. The showroom has the feel of a high end bicycle shop. The staff is not a homogenous group of men in suits; no one wears suits, there were men and women of various ages and everyone looked relaxed. People acknowledged me visually and then let me approach when I was ready. I liked that. I asked for a test drive and holy cow was that fun! It was like I asked the cool kid at school if I could drive his car and he said yes, because my Motoring Advisor David Wolf merely shared his joy of MINI and his detailed knowledge of the car, asking just a few gentle questions, enough to get an idea of who I am, and then let me walk away with an invitation to let him know if I had any questions and could he call me later in the week. I liked that ALOT. No pressure 'cause I'm just checkin' out my friend's cool car right? With the prompt of the follow up call merely asking if I had any questions, I did go in on my lunch hour to ask my questions and left a few hours later with a car and a deaI am very happy with. Now y'all know he knew he had my car when he called me to check in, but I didn't, and he never pressured me with that. EVER. Thank you David Wolf for finding me the MINI perfect for a single woman with a modest income, a back injury, and a need to have a vehicle that would be safe and dependable for a vey long time. AND my Internal 18 year old is rejoicing to once again have great tunes. Every day I find something new that the vehicle has or does. I've named it Li'l Bit. The cars sell themselves but you cannot buy the dignity and respect with which I was and continue to be supported with at Seattle MINI. Seattle MINI provided me with the most enjoyable Car-Purchasing experience ever! I walked in with no expectations, and I was greeted by nobody at the door. (Box 1, check! Not assaulted by high-pressure sales people.) I looked around for a few minutes, and then I went to the reception desk to ask for help. Within a minute, I was introduced to Chuvit Chayavadhanangkur. I told Chuvit I was looking for a certified pre-owned MINI, and we walked the floor and then outside. While we were looking at the inventory, I explained I had a trade-in, that I was looking to spend no more than X dollars out of pocket, and that he could earn my business if the price and warranty were right. We looked at a few cars just outside that range, which I didn't mind because I figured there was always room for negotiation. (Box 2, check. No effort to "up-sell.") When we found the car that I believed was the right fit, Chuvit and I went for a test drive. Chuvit was great. He was very professional, pointing out all the features that the car had while I was driving. When we returned to the dealership, Chuvit asked in a low-pressure manner if we had found the car for me. When I said that I thought we had, we went through the process of getting my trade-in appraised. This was very easy--I handed him the keys to my car, and we went to his desk to talk financing while the service department evaluated my old car. I told him that I had arranged financing through my bank, he ensured that I was satisfied with the rate I received from my bank, and we didn't talk any longer about financing. (Box 3, check. No pressure to use MINI financing.) A few minutes later, I was given a very fair trade-in value for my old car, straight from Kelley Blue Book. (Box 4, check. No haggling for a lower price on my trade-in.)While the car I had selected had a great warranty remaining, I'm a big believer in leaving nothing to chance, so I explained I wanted to get an extended warranty. Glen was then brought in to explain my options on that front. Glen was very pleasant, very clear, and very fair. We had negotiated to get a great extended warranty, and that was that. We went through the paperwork very thoroughly, with Glen explaining everything as we went. When we were done, I wanted to call my bank to make sure the bank would transfer the funds electronically, and we used Glen's phone. Unexpectedly, my bank loan fell through. After going through the entire process, I explained to Glen that I couldn't go through with the deal. This is when MINI went above and beyond for me.Glen and I started brainstorming about different options we could do. Glen was very, very helpful, and very, very respectful here. Without prying, Glen had asked some questions about my credit and about the loan I had secured from my bank. Glen then shopped around to get another loan for me. He ended up getting me an even better rate than the one I had secured from my bank (which I didn't think was possible). The process took longer than I had hoped, and we were now at the dealership well after closing time. The entire time, Glen, Chuvit, and Richard stayed with me, thanking me repeatedly for my patience (which was a little weird for me, because I felt bad for keeping them there for so long after closing). Long story somewhat shorter: I ended up leaving Seattle MINI with a great car, with payments less than I would have had if I stuck with my original bank, and with an impression that the people at Seattle MINI are committed to serving their clients--not just to sell cars.I can't state in words just how impressed I am with the group at Seattle MINI. There was zero pressure, a very friendly environment, and a genuine concern at all times that they are meeting and exceeding the expectations of their customers. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used car.

I just bought a used 2009 Mini, my first Mini. Best car buying experience I've ever had. My sales associate David Wolf was down to earth, honest and very personable. Before buying my car we discovered a problem with the window function. After my purchase was complete, arrangements were made for me to bring my mini back the next day for the window repair work to be done and I was given a loaner car to drive until my car was ready to go. This used car was priced exactly at fair market value for its age and mileage which meant zero purchasing hassle for me. Bought a 2011 cooper S from Seattle Mini.Started my conversation with David. He was instant in his responses given that we were communicating via email. the negotiation was quick and easy. When I went to the showroom to pick up the car, saw couple of near invisible dents and scratches which I pointed to David. He took to his workshop got them cleaned while we were doing the paperwork. I never went for extra warranties or anything earlier with any product. But Glen made me buy extended warranty without me regretting of giving in. Overall it was a great experience buying from them and I love my Mini.

Overall very good experience, with Chuck Hill leading me through my new purchase. I pretty much knew what I wanted, but Chuck made sure that I had all of the information in order to make a thorough and informed decision. He never pressured me, which I think is the mark of a mature and respectful salesman. Chuck is also very familiar with all of the finer points of getting the car set up to individual desires, and again I appreciated that. My Lexus suffered catastrophic engine failure earlier in the week. I found myself needing to buy a car with no planning and no preparation. After doing a lot of online shopping I hit a bunch of local dealerships, and while I never felt like I was being lied to, I also never felt like the people I talked to were going out of their way to answer my questions and give me the information I wanted, rather than the information that would make me buy from them. I got the standard hard-sell routines, the "this car won't be here tomorrow" stories, and so on.Then I went to Seattle MINI and the difference was night and day. A calm, fun, relaxing atmosphere, fun engaging personnel, and no pressure. I'm loving the mini. It's a joy to drive, but I've found myself gushing with equal enthusiasm about my experience at the dealership. Kay, Brent, and the rest really made my car-hunt a pleasant, low-stress affair. It created near instant brand-loyalty in me. I really can't say enough.

My first service with Mini Seattle was a complete disaster. I had several items wrong with the car. Some were intermittent, some consistent. After holding the car for one week, I get a call back that everything I had itemized as issues were all "working as designed". My service rep was especially adept at evading direct questions and providing lengthy dissertations on things not related at all to the issue under discussion. I was met with repeated statements of "I have my best mechanic on it", "he's worked on reproducing the issues repeatedly all day and cannot reproduce", and "we've determined that this issue is working exactly as designed". Each and every issue came to this same conclusion. At this point I decided to pick my car up anyhow instead of arguing about it on the phone and offered to reproduce any issue when I arrived. I was greeted by a different service rep. He and a mechanic walked with me to the car and I reproduced every item. For each, they both declared that it was not working as designed - completely the opposite of the first crew. They kept the car another week to replace all the impacted items. Now with my car gone for over two weeks, I go to pick it up and they can't find it or the paper work. The idiot initial rep had misfiled things and no one could readily find it. A mechanic was able to eventually find the key, but the folks working the front desk were unable to find or reproduce any of the paperwork so I drove it home in the end.

We both loved the whole "becoming part of the mini family" atmosphere. Dave was especially helpful explaining features of our mini before, during and after purchase. I ended up buying a used Mini Cooper-S from here, but I definitely looked at all kinds of Coopers. Robert (Lee) was very patient with all my requests, especially with multiple test drives over many days. Damon was great with the financing too, and hung through with me through all the details. Most importantly, there were a few options that were not standard with the car, and I learned about that only a week later. Damon and Robert were kind enough to throw those in for free even after the sale had completed. If you pine for a Mini, I thoroughly recommend getting one from these guys.

I had a fantastic experience with MINI! I had brought in my older 2003 in for some pretty large maintenance issues and my service team was awesome. I received a loaner on the spot and the service team always kept me in the loop. They also worked with me to connect with my insurance as necessary! Very helpful! I decided to trade in my mini and start fresh with a certified per-owned. My sales team was wonderful and listened to all of my needs and kept me within my budget. They recommended a great car and I ended up purchasing the only car I looked at because it was perfect. Richard Stone and Dave Wolf were extremely knowledgable and helped with all my mini needs. After a great lunch with friends on Labor Day I decided to stop at Seattle Mini to see if they had the Mini I wanted (third trip to the dealership to browse their inventory). After talking to David Wolfe he showed me several cars but they did not fit the profile of what I needed. However going back to the showroom looking for another car I saw my new car Lightning Blue and all decked out with the British flag on the roof and side mirrors. I have been looking for and talking about this car for over three years and had decided if I had not found it by Labor day I would look again in Spring 2013. I had previously owned 2 Minis while living in England. I took it for a test drive and I decided that this was the one. David was very patient, added in plate holders and set up the electronics-what more can you ask for.Glen was efficient and did not hassle me for the extras and the team made the buying process easy. My entire experience at Seattle Mini was excellent. I first came in to test drive, there was no pressure, and I genuinely felt that the sales team was looking to find a car that best suited me. Once I decided what I wanted, the process to order a new car was very straightforward. The dealership is clean, modern, "cool" and a great place to hang out. I love the Wi-Fi and amenities. It is also dog friendly, which is a huge plus, as we brought our dog in when we purchased the car. So far, my experience with the service department has also been excellent, with no issues and prompt service. I also appreciate the online interface. I would definitely recommend buying a car from Seattle Mini.

The friendliness and sense of humor were absolutely unbeatable. Mini is less stress anyway because of its no-haggle pricing, but the whole process here felt like it was meant to put us at ease and get us what we wanted.I was especially surprised to see on this site that Northwest Mini had an almost identical rating. Our experiences with them have been far less positive than what we experienced here.We got to the dealership at about 5 p.m. after spending a good part of the day looking at other things. The car I was trading in was on older Mini, and my partner and I finally decided we wanted to go with another new one rather than buy something different. We didn't finish the purchase until 8 p.m. and didn't realize until we were leaving that they had closed at 7. David and Glen had stayed an hour late without any mention of it, and with no sense that they were in a hurry--a nice touch.Since we already had a Mini, David knew he didn't have to educate us about the unique features or sell us on the virtues of the make. Instead of wasting our time on this, he got right to the point--what features were important to us, what we wanted the same or different than our previous Mini, what things were must-haves, and what things were nice-to-haves. With our list in mind, he knew there were a couple of things in stock that might work for us, so kudos for familiarity with a large inventory. At that point, we essentially took a look at the two and decided one was indeed right for us.On to the paperwork, which is of course extensive, and we ended up waiting a couple of times for various parts of the process because they were so busy. Glen Wolf (finance guy) told us he'd done nine cars that day. Obviously, at that hour, we were the last!David threw in a couple of extras (mats, sunshade) that I asked for, and followed up by phone a few days later, at which time I had a couple questions. And of course he offered to be available at any point to answer other questions that come up.I'd have started here if I'd known it was going to be so much easier and feel so much better than other places.

David and Damon were kind, patient, low key in their dealings with a somewhat anxious customer. I had needed and wanted to replace my 2002 Mini, but was avoiding doing so, not looking forward to the car-shopping experience. Not the stereotype of a used car salesman, David just answered my questions. Damon took care and time, patiently entered various terms, helped me think about peace of mind -- something I didn't have with my 2002 Mini -- as had David. By the time I left with my 2009 Mini, I'd been at the dealer for hours and I'm sure it was well past the time both were supposed to be off work. I do realize that this all was sales, but it was professional and a not-unpleasant experience. I would recommend this dealer.

There would be nothing I would change about purchasing my Mini.....unless of course you rule out winning one in some sort of contest and keeping my savings account fat and sassy. David kept in touch with me over several months before I was ready to order and enjoyed keeping me informed along the journey from factory to Seattle. Damon had the pages of paperwork ready to go when I picked up Roxie this morning. He spent time explainimg what I was signing and the reasons involved. I then spent time with David going over the functions of all the interior knobs and toggle switches. I've never had a new car buying experience so easy and been treated so well. I am now into my second day of ownership and I find it hard to get out of the car or stop looking at it. My girlfriend must have said "so cute" a few hundred times. Now I know what the Mini smile is all about. There are so many thoughtful features and extras that I am enjoying learning the customization I can do so this Mini is truly mine. I invited a neighbor for a ride and we both remarked over and over about the quality of fit and finish. Then I let my neighbor take the wheel and what was supposed to be a round the block trip turned into a 4 mile ride. We both took turns at some very twisting turning roads and were amazed the PERFECT handling. I did mention to my neighbor that I had to do other things today so I could get him to give me back my Mini. He wants one now. Hurray for Oxford England, Seattle Mini, David Wolf and Michael Brown. I went to Seattle MINI to discuss spec'ing a MINI and finance options. As it turned out, they just put on the show floor a MINI that was very close to what I was looking to have built for myself. I ended up talking with Kay, who was genuinely friendly and was more than happy to discuss all of my options. The dealership also gave me a very fair offer on my trade in. I never felt pressured into the sale, and MINI was able to beat my credit union's loan rates. Although I had no intention of actually buying that day, the whole experience was so great, and the car was so close to my desired specifications, I ended up going through with the purchase that day! And as Kay was walking me through the new MINI post-purchase, I think she was at least as excited as I was!! :). The only downside to the whole purchase is that since MINIs are still selling so well, expect to pay MSRP. There's really no negotiating room to be had. But, you get what you pay for!!I'm a very happy customer, and I'll definitely be back.

My wife wanted to buy a new mini to replace her 1996 3 series BMW. We bought our daughter a 2004 Mini six years ago so we thought we'd try mini again. After several trips to Seattle Mini, over the course of three or four months, and multiple conversations with Michael Reichstein not only did my wife buy a Mini, I purchased a Countryman. I usually find shopping for cars akin to having a root canal. Not at Seattle Mini and not with Michael. He is a very low key sales guy and very well versed in many different cars. I have had BMWs for thirty years and Michael was able to relate my driving style and needs to the countryman. He did a great job helping my wife make her decision each and every time we came in. When she finally decided to buy, the perfect car was not on the lot and he did not try to pressure her into one and instead helped her order one. Damon did our paperwork and covered all of the warrantee, extras with us. Again, a low pressure, matter of facts kind of guy. I highly recommend Michael to anyone wanting to buy a car.

It can feel like an adversarial experience. Also, as a single woman Im not always treated as seriously or respectfully as Id like in such situationsalthough even my men friends tell me that they find car shopping a stressful experience.So when I stepped into Seattle Mini, I was delighted to have a woman come forward to help me. Then I was pleasantly surprised by Kay McMillens straightforward, professional style and that she listened to my needs and made helpful, relevant suggestions. Who knew that car shopping could be an enjoyable experience?! Kay helped take the sting out of making such an expensive purchase. She even came in on her day off to show me my new car and go over its operating instructions. Kay also sent me a letter telling me that DealerRater would send me a survey and asking that if I rated her less than 10 (A+ score) in any area, to let her know what she could have done to deserve a 10. If that isnt someone committed to customer service, I dont know who is.P.S. I almost didnt go to Seattle Mini after reading some very negative online reviews about them. So I asked Kay about those reviews. She told me that the service manager and salespeople, who customers complained about, are no longer with the company.

Kay was great to work with. Always kept me informed of where we were in the process and where my car was. She let me go for quite a long test drive so I could get a really good feel of the car and there was no feeling of pressure to get back any sooner than we did. First off, this is not only a new car & new dealership for me, but also a new city. I am relocating to Seattle for work. He was very polite and didn't make me feel pressured or pushed at all.After driving a few cars, I decided I absolutely loved Minis and had to have one. I picked my car and, after doing some negotiations, went into the office to deal with financing. Damon was my paperwork guru - a very friendly and hilarious man. The whole process didn't take very much time at all and my car was ready and waiting for me. I had an extremely pleasant buying experience at Seattle Mini and would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Great Dealership. Great Experience. This was by far the finest new car buying experience I have ever had. David Wolf was generous with his time, enthusiastic about his product and truly wonderful to work with. Buying a Mini Cooper is all about customizing your perfect car. That takes time and patience on the part of the dealer salesperson as you walk back and forth, seemingly forever, comparing colors and interiors. Dave was GREAT. Never wavered, never bored...just a true professional...and I think a friend. When you make a major purchase like a new car it takes the sting out of the cost to work with good people who are interested in what they do and the customers they help. Seattle Mini is just such a dealership. Besides David, we have all heard horror stories about the dreaded "finance manager"! Well, Michael Brown broke that mold. What a great guy with all the right answers to our questions. Of course, he is selling additional services and helping with your finances...but in such a way that it is a pleasure to sit, joke and laugh in his office. Normally I'm with my husband when we buy a car but recently went to visit Seattle MINI by myself to "just give one a drive". I became so comfortable with the dealership and with David Wolf that I ordered the car that day.I'd wanted a MINI Countryman for some time and even had the color picked out. David found what I wanted and was able to get the car delivered in under three weeks AND was fair on my trade-in. Purchased new Mini S Coupe. I felt I was treated fairly and the whole special order process went smoothly. I was without a car the weeks leading up to the Minis arrival and when it arrived Michael made sure to get it ready for me the same day it arrived. Finance was easy and went very smooth overall.

After going to another Mini dealership in the area 5 times before someone even acknowledged our existance, I was about ready to write Mini off. That is until we spoke with David Wolf at the Seattle Car Show. He was friendly and informative yet not pushy. Awnsered all of our questions promptly and even got back to me while on his vacation. We built our Countryman and revised it multiple times, handling most everything over the phone and thru email. David kept us informed every step of the way until our new Mini arrived. When it did he even picked us up at the ferry terminal and drove us to the dealership so that we could enjoy our anniversary in our new Mini together. Finance was the fastest I've seen. David walked us through the whole car and even helped set up the blutooth feature. In and out of the dealership in about an hour. By far the best car buying experiance my wife and I have ever had. I keep saying my next car is a Beamer but we will have to see if Mini has what it takes to knock off big brother. Thank You Seattle Mini and a huge Thanks to my Salesman David Wolf who went above and beyond for us. Hope the service dept. can live up to the sales side.

Excellent experience. Professionally handled all my paper work and questions. Second Mini I have bought. Called a few days later with a follow-up as to how things are going. Explained about license tabs being installed when they come in. Went thoroughly over the car features and I feel I could phone with any questions.This questionaire is not user friendly. I had never owned a new car in my life, and had in fact been driving the same car since 1987. I test drove a Mini, at a family members request, and WOW! Totally loved the car, and that is saying something. Just to make sure, I test drove 15 other different cars. (Yes, you read that right. It was a long month of weekend test drives.) Went back to Mini and then test drove all the available cars on the lot, testing different body styles and motors. The dealership did not have the car I thought I eventually would want to buy on the lot, so they had it brought in from elsewhere, just for me to test drive. Smart move because that's the one I ended up getting. Every time I went in they were friendly, and happy to see me, and although I ended up working with Michael for the most part, the other sales staff members were great and fun as well. I went on test drives on the freeway, through the local neighborhood and even to a big name chain coffee drive thru! I just had a blast. When the car was ordered to my exact specifications, I got great updates on the progress and pictures from Michael of my car as it came in to the lot, during the January snow event. I can honestly say that financing was a breeze here, and overall I give these folks two thumbs up, and an '11' on a scale of 1 to 10! I have had the car for about three weeks now, and I'm looking forward to going back to get my plates just to say to these nice people again. Best experience getting a new car. EVER.

I setup appointment for items to be replaced and was told a certain amount and time frame and neither were correct. Service rep was rude and very cocky. I paid good money because MINIs aren't cheap and got horrible service for what I paid for.

I went to seattle mini because it was the closest one to me. At the end of my experience I would have driven an hour to get the customer service I recieved from this staff. Everyone was outstanding! I work in retail so I know the importance of great customer service and this location had it all. They were more than accomidating, wanted the best deal for me and my new mini, were polite and willing to go above and beyond (even though it was superbowl sunday), and I left feeling like I could go in there any day and they would remember me and my car. By far the best car buying experience I have ever had and recommend it to anyone. Big thanks to David with helping me find the right car and to Michael for getting all the finance paperwork done so easily! Great job Seattle MINI! Thanks so much, I LOVE MY MINI!!!!

I had planned to trade in my 09 mini for something new as my 3 year re-finance deadline was fast approaching. While in Seattle mini for service on my wife's car, we casually asked Mr. Wolf how we can go about trading my car in in the future. He went into salesman mode and within 20 minutes found a car I liked and had me lined up to trade mine in at 0 cost to me the next day. I thought maybe I would owe a bit on my current loan, but Mr. Wolf found out that the new loan would take care of the first one, and it would be like starting over with a new car (one that I really liked). While crunching numbers for me, we found out from the service dept that my wife would not be getting the loaner car she was told she would get over the phone. After casually voicing her disappointment, Mr. Wolf worked out a deal with the sales manager and has us in the brand new coupe with the dealer plates as an "overnight demo." He also did some magic and got me bonnet stripes and rubber floor mats for my new car. It was ready for me the very next day. He went way far beyond what I would expect from a dealer and I could NOT be happier!!

My car was totaled so I went to a few dealerships around Seattle but when I went to Mini I felt at home. It started when Damon confirmed my appointment online -- something I thought was very professional. Then I had a warm greeting at the front desk, and they knew I was coming. I met with David Wolfe who is adorable and patient and professional. They let me bring my dog in and she was given dog treats, water, and tons of affection. She even fell asleep under the finance manager's desk. The dealership is well-designed and a fun place to hang out. Hats off to Mini for creating a great experience for me.

I just bought a new car there so my experience does not yet cover their service department (thus the N/A above)... but the sales experience was hands-down the best I have ever had when buying a car. The sales guy (Terry Hogan) was very easy going and laid back - no sleazy tactics - no high pressure tactics... he just came across as a regular, honest guy. It was the first time I can say I enjoyed the car buying experience. I got the car for MSRP... without haggling. That's fairly incredible considering the car I bought and the fact that the MSRP is a very reasonable price for it. If the service department turns out to be as good as the sales department, I'll consider this the best car dealership I've ever encountered.

My overall buying experience from Seattle MINI was positive. Things worth notingAs with most MINI dealerships, there was very little wiggle room for negotiating - compared to Honda, Toyota, Subaru, VW etc With my last five new car purchases, all were below, at, or within $200 of invoice. Not possible with Seattle MINI I tried!My sales person was helpful and reasonably honest. My experience with Seattle Mini has always been outstanding to include my most recent visit a week ago. While my mini was being serviced, I received detailed communications regarding my repair options. As busy as Seattle Mini is, I felt I was treated as though I was their sole customer. It is this customer attention that makes me continue to go back to Seattle Mini. I always leave Seattle Mini with a smile on my face which has to be attributed to their attention to their customers and positive atmosphere throughout the dealership.

I've purchased two MINIs in the past four years. I love my car but it's the VIP service I get at Seattle MINI that keeps me coming back. My most recent visit to Seattle MINI involved me stopping by while I was in the area to order snow tires. Raychel in the service department was able to squeeze my Countyman into the service schedule right then to have my new snow tires installed immediately. I was expecting to have to order the tires & wheels and schedule a future service appointment for install. I appreciate the efforts of the parts department & Raychel in service which resulted in me being ready for ski season all with one stop. Plus I left with a freshly washed car. Totally happy & ready for the slopes in my 2011 Countryman.

This dealer is GREAT! What makes it great are the people. My service advisor is Rachael Gainey, she's a sweetie. Alway a smile, always polite, just a pleasure to deal with, regardless of the news on the car. Their service team is fantastic. Got to know several of the wrenchs and always willing to work with a gear head & try to explain what's going on. There is a local MINI Club, and this dealer WORKS with the club to make thing easier for a small club to function and provide it's members events, weather technical or social. Cheers1

We started going to Seattle MINI for Service with our 2004 Mini we bought from another dealer. We were impressed with the attentive staff the moment we walked through the door. We have been offered a loaner MINI every time we bring our car in for service. When it came time to look for our 2nd MINI we knew there was no place we would rather purchase from than Seattle MINI. The buying experience alone has us looking to buy our 3rd MINI from them too. There was no pressure, just mounds of information and questions answered. Robert was the guy I dealt with - through out the test drive he never offered to mention any options on hte car nor did he show any interest at gaining my business - when asked a simple question (which any serious buyer wwould probably ask) around the Invoice price of the precious CooperS i was interested in buying (indeed I had plans of buying that same day!) he got all defensive, started telling some nonsense stories around how niche the MINI is and it's like I was in a Lamborghini showroom buying a priced custom ride of the Cooper!) instead ..And i am pretty sure the sales folks there arent half as snooty as what i have experienced here multiple times (well if they are they have reason to be i suppose!) - and he just refused to show any interest in trying to sell the car to me; pretty much all but showed us the door almost snatched the quote sheet from us as soon as we started sitting down to see what options didnt make sense for us!! i mean i have never seen such utter rudeness. We werent even thought fit to be given a copy of the quote sheet with the options list fo the car i was interested in before we left!! Either he hates the dealership or Mini trains their sales folks to be snooty and unhelpful

I recently purchased a previously owned car from Seattle Mini and had a great experience. Robert, my salesperson, was professional, knowledgeable and patient. I am the type of person who asked slot of questions and try's to look at every detail and this did not phase Robert. I appreciated that. Damon, the finance guy, was great to work with as well. His demeanor was friendly and helpful. He even got me a lower rate than I expected! Not only did he take care of the financing paperwork but also gave me some much appreciated tips on the car I purchased. Overall, I felt really good driving away from Seattle MINI. It was a positive car buying experience.

Friendly, competant dealer that cares. When a fellow Mini Club owner had a mechanical problem at the start of a ten day Club tour to Las Vegas in 2010, the dealer had his car repaired and back on the road that evening, even though it was a Saturday and the dealerships service department was closed.
