These guys have a great thing going. First, their lot is a nice little spot in League City. It's cozy and well-suited to the kinds of vehicles they sell. Second, their sales staff is quite knowledgeable. We're new to Jeeps, but Gavin told us what to look for, and took the time to show us how to take down the soft top, make sure the 4WD was properly engaged, etc. Third, the inventory was top-notch. They had everything from well-worn old Jeeps to newer vehicles -- and everything was priced appropriately. In addition, they'd really gone over the vehicles, cleaned them inside and out, and made sure they were solid. (Not everyone does this, believe me.) Fourth, the service exceeded my expectations. Gavin made sure we had just what we were looking for, and even switched out the rims and tires for no extra cost. He also made the paperwork part a breeze. A couple of weeks later, we got a thank-you note. I've NEVER gotten one of those before, but it let me know Select Jeeps actually appreciated our business. If you're looking for a used Jeep, don't buy until you've visited these guys.

I have NEVER written a negative review, because I am in the service industry and know most bad experiences are often times the people, not the place. However, I did not enjoy my experience at Select Jeeps. They have a nice inventory and nice lot. I do not know a lot about Jeeps and went there first to gain knowledge. My sales person didn't know a whole lot and once I said one of the many things I was looking for in a Jeep, he only honed in on that ONE thing or didn't listen at all. Now I was highly recommended to this place and perhaps others have had a great experience but mine was not. So good luck, hopefully your time spent there will be better.

If you are Jeep enthusiast, looking for, or even considering adding a Jeep to your car family, THIS IS THE PLACE! You won't find a more knowledgeable, HONEST, friendly and great group anywhere. I live in San Antonio and the 3 hour drive to get to Select Jeeps is so worthwhile! We have purchased 2 Jeep Wranglers now from Matthew at Select Jeeps and couldn't be happier! On our first visit, Matthew steered my husband and I to right Jeep for me, and since that day, a little over a year ago, I have become obsessed with Jeep Wranglers, but more so with the service and selection we received from Matthew and Select Jeeps. I follow their website and Facebook regularly and when it was time to purchase a car for our daughter, there was no hesitation on where to go when she said she wanted a Wrangler. Although there are numerous Jeep dealerships in the San Antonio area, none come close to the knowledge and service the team at Select Jeeps gives! They stand behind their vehicles and price them so fairly and spot on, that we excitedly made the trip to see them again. They were so patient with my daughter and all the different test drives she did that day, and 10 minutes before closing, found THE perfect Wrangler for our daughter. They had just received it that afternoon, so it still needed to be processed. They completed all the paperwork, detailed and shipped, yes SHIPPED the Wrangler to our front door the following weekend! Talk about service! I couldn't believe how accommodating they were and we will for sure be back for more Jeeps! Thank you Select Jeeps and Matthew!

Matt was very knowledgeable, friendly and especially honest during my experience at Select Jeeps. I told him what I wanted and they had a Jeep that hit every criteria for me. Overall I had an excellent experience and would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a Wrangler.

Matthew was very helpful in helping us find the jeep that we wanted and patient as we weighed our options. As a newbie to the jeep world he helped us understand the differences in the jeep models which made our decision easier. I recommend you take a test drive with the top down. While there ask Matthew about Jesus. Amazing testimony!

I had a great experience at Select Jeeps. My salesman was Matt Gibson. Matt was incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire learning, selection, purchasing and funding processes. I'm am so happy with my 2005 Wrangler. It's exactly what I was looking for. I have recommended Select Jeeps to my friends, co-workers and acquaintences. Not to mention the folks I don't even know that have asked me where I purchased my jeep from. If you are in the market for a used Jeep, defiintely give these guys a chance. They specialize in Jeeps. We were pleased with the knowledge of the sales person (Matthew). He showed me how everything worked. I have never owned a jeep before but have been looking for quite some time and I came across Select Jeeps. They had plenty to choose from and with reasonable prices and mileage. I just have one problem, and that was the oil sending unit which they said that they replaced but is still acting up. Sometimes it would be fine, the next time it would show low oil pressure. With the new one doing the same thing as the other one, Davin gave me a 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty on the engine which I think is fair. It also lets me know that they stand behind what they sell. I was very pleased with Matthew as a sales person and a very knowledgeable person. I would not only recommend Select Jeeps but also recommend Matthew as the person to talk to. If I ever buy another one, Select Jeeps will be the first place I will check out.

We chose to do business with Select Jeeps because they had the best, most reliable inventory of Jeeps for sale at the expected price. Matthew was patient to work with us over a couple of weeks while we decided on the final vehicle and arranged to purchase it. No hassle, no pressure and willing to work with the price. I would recommend Select Jeeps to anyone wanting to deal with Jeep specialists in Houston.

Pleasure to do business with. Talked with Matthew on the phone before driving over. Matthew was very professional with his knowledge of Jeeps and explained the pros and cons of the few we were interested in. We settled on one and agreed to a price without much pressure or haggling. Traded an older one in on another and Matthew walked us through the paperwork process with ease.It was worth the 1.5 hour drive to deal with Matthew and the folks at Select Jeep. I look forward to doing business again in the future and highly recommend anyone looking for a Jeep to go to Select Jeeps and talk to Matthew.

I was a little apprehensive travelling so far to buy a vehicle that I had only seen pictures of and talked to Daven over the phone about. Daven was very honest & provided a very good vehicle. I would highly reccommend Select Jeeps & would certainly deal with them again should I need another truck, although I like this one so much I don't want to part with it any time soon!

I could not have been more pleased with the Jeep (2007 Wrangler Rubicon) I purchased or the customer service provided. The folks at Select Jeeps know their products and they know each of the vehicles on their lot -- these folks are Jeep enthusiasts, not just vehicle sales people. These are used vehicles and there is no hesitation on the part of the select Jeeps representatives in explaining the plusses, minuses, bumps, nicks, and rubs of each vehicle. The low-key, honest, good-product-at-a-fair-price approach is a great way to do business and that certainly leaves the customer (me) with a good feeling about doing business there.I'm very pleased with the purchase, the customer service, and the individual respect I received. I'm not likely to go back anytime soon, because I won't need to. However, I'll be tickled to tell anyone that will listen about my very positive experience. I highly recommend these folks, if you're interested in a Jeep (and who wouldn't be ?!?!?).

GET THE CAR FAX - THERE IS NO 75 POINT INSPECTION!!!This is really more of a warning so the next guy does not lose 9K in 8 months after buying a jeep with a rebuilt/salvage title from these guys. Granted, they say they did not know, they had a good blue title. But they know now...there is one sitting on their lot.I bought a cherry 2005 Rocky Mtn for 24,900 bucks. It had 13K miles on it and I did not even think about getting a Car Fax. I decided it was not good for a daily driver and traded it in on a new truck. Well, the dealer did get a car fax and informed ME this jeep was totaled in 2007, rolled over and deployed air bags. For that reason they could only give 8K on a trade. It turns out this vehicle was part of a title washing scam out of Missouri. I contacted Marcos and told him I was getting a attorney. To his credit he asked me to come down and settle it. He ended up buying it back for 15,500. It's on his lot TODAY for 22K. Not a bad mark-up for salvage vehicle. Now that Marcos knows this is a salvage title, he must disclose this information to any potential buyer. I'm just making sure this info gets out there and there is a record online for any new potential buyer that is about to purchase a jeep with a Salvage title. Remember, they have a blue non-salvage title they are using to sell it. ACU will be more than happy to finance it for you....they are also aware this is salvage title from a washing scam.

Having recently moved into the Houston area from Arizona, I wasn't at all familiar with the lay of the land, as well as a source for "quality" used Jeeps. After searching the Internet as such, I happened upon Select Jeeps down in League City. From the moment I called them for directions to my extensive dealings with "Davin", my salesman, I could not have been more genuinely pleased with the personal, professional and knowledgeable capabilaties that Select Jeep had to offer. They had a variety of used Jeeps, all in what I would call great condition. The most apprecative part of my interface with them was the forthright manner in which they shared any imperfections their vehicles may have had, visible or otherwise. That is certainly an admirable attribute that isn't always quite prevalent when purchasing an "as is" used car.With that, I would offer Select Jeeps the highest of recommendations and will always consider them first & forement for all my future Jeep purchases.

Ever since I took my Mercedes ML off the road, I got hooked by this form of driving.Often went to and exceeded the limits in Baja California. Since I could not find a replacement for the ML and my needs, I started to convert it to a "Baja" vehicle. During this process I visited with Select Jeeps and got recommendations and had them do some of the work on my vehicle. Friendly service, a wide specific knowledge of the subject and fair prices are reflected in the above rating.

About less than a month ago, I bought an 04' Jeep Wrangler Rubicon from Select-Jeeps, and I must say, I will remember Select Jeeps for a long time. I'm getting nothing but compliments on my Jeep, on both the exterior, and under the hood. Not only did Select Jeeps make it easy to purchase a car, they were more than willing to show me everything about the Jeep before the purchase. Inside, outside, under the hood, underneath the Jeep, etc... Select Jeeps wants to make sure that I, the customer, was completely satisfied with my selection before the purchase. That way I can spend more time on the enjoyment, and not on any car-issue paranoia. The negative reviews that were reflected on this business obviously did not do their homework on anything before the purchase was made. Quality of Work: Not sure what this is referring to, but I'll still mark it 5/5, to help the reviews out. Friendliness: The staff was, without a doubt, 100% in satisfaction. Like other reviews stated before, they make sure that I was pleased, before and after, the said selection of my choice. No frustration, anger, or even headaches were given when talking to the staff about any questions or concerns that I had. Price: The prices on all the Jeeps sold were all a little under the KBB value (Kelley Blue Book). Price was never an issue there, especially since they also offer financial aid (which is easy to get, in any dealership) for those that don't have the amount at full. Not only that, the total prices are very reasonable, especially since quite a few have already-installed parts/accessories such as lifts, sound systems, alarms, etc... It's funny, I saw several Jeeps worth the same price at other dealerships, yet it had only factory stock parts, stock wheels, and even high mileage. So obviously Select-Jeeps has better Jeeps with better prices. Overall Experience: Overall, Select Jeeps is positively one of the greats when it comes to the customers. Though there are a few bad reviews (which obviously the bad-reviewers did not do their homework on the car before purchase), it's like that for any/every business, especially since Select-Jeeps has been in business for more than a decade and it only has 3 bad reviews, that's actually better than most businesses out there. All that aside, I'd have to say go to Select-Jeeps and see the experience first-hand, you just might be surprised with what you drive off the lot at the end of the day.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE RIPOFF ARTISTS. I bought something in August and it is now only a few months later in November. Every single system on the vehicle has been repaired and I've spent over one-thousand dollars in necessary repairs. Realizing that I'm the one responsible for the purchase, understand that this is being posted as a warning. The vehicle I purchased in August was the only one I've ever purchased on my own and they rushed me through the process once they realized I was in a bind as far as needing transportation that could handle off-road driving.The emissions system is "dysfuctional completely" according to the dealership I pay to fix it in Houston. One day after driving the vehicle off Select's lot it simply would not start. When I called Marcos to tell him he asked me "what do you want me to do about it" in a very annoyed tone. After paying for a tow to a local dealer the starter was not fixed, but replaced. Not one of the speakers in the front or sound bar above works at all. When I purchase gas, the emissions system (fuel sensor specifically) will not recognize that the tank has been filled, and warns me that the gas is low and to 'Check Engine.' Now that the weather is getting colder I realize that the top on my vehicle is filled with holes, but the windows don't even come close to fitting. When I took it to several parts shops, the consensus was that fixing the windows or trying to get the top to fit would be a waste of time and the top needs to be replaced. Ridiculous.Once again, I am fully responsible for this purchase and have absolutely nobody to blame but myself. PLEASE USE THIS AS A WARNING, and buy your next Jeep vehicle from ANYWHERE ELSE. I have learned quite an expensive lesson from this dealership and it's a valuable one, but I'd much rather have a maintenance free Jeep to help me get around.

I bought my Jeep CJ from them. Great Jeep, I love it, drive it on nice weekends. I recommend these guys. They had a great inventory of Jeeps and were very helpful on making the right decision on which Jeep would fit me the best. I would buy another one from them.

I had a great experience with these guys. I've bought a motorcycle and 2 jeeps from this company. I would strongly recommend doing business with this company, Marcos, Davin and Tommy are very knowlegable and can answer most all your jeep questions.

I went to this dealer to look at what they had to offer because I was thinking of selling my 93 Wrangler, and getting another Jeep. When I got there and looked past all the pretty paint it became imediately apparent that their prices were not only optimistic but seem to be hoping that anyone that wanted to buy one of their "select" jeeps was either blind or completely without knowledge of even the most basic mechanical knowledge. I'd honestly be surprised if any of their Jeeps lasted 500 miles after they were bought. It's just disapointing to see such shoddy cover-up work and outlandish prices. They honestly painted over rust, and put the cheapest parts possible on to pretty up these mechanical messes. So word to the wise, look past shiny paint, lift kits, and new tires, and instead pop a hood or two and look under their rigs before you buy one, no amount of paint, tires, and lifts will make a Jeep mechanically sound. Just a bit of information from a backyard mechanic to you.

Bought a jeep from here about a month ago and everything is wrong with it!! 75 point inspection? Is the guy doing it blind? When we got it home, realized it didnt have a horn...not that the horn didnt work, it wasn't there at ALL!!! They said it had been in a small fender bender, took it to the body shop...thousands of dollars worth of damage!! Small fender bender my ass, the frame is bent. Very dissapointed with everything...sure the people where nice...but the vehicle is a piece of shit!!!! For the price we paid, I could have bought a jeep that actually was in decent shape. When the body guy looked at it, he told us that there are nuts and bolts missing everywhere, so whoever did the body work after the "small fender bender" did a half ass job too!!! If Select Jeeps claims to do a 75 point inspection, either they just didn't do it on this Jeep or they failed to do the job the right way. If anyone at Select Jeeps would have even looked at this vehicle they would have known about all the problems it has. My guess is that they looked at it, knew what was wrong and sold it to me anyways. Horrible way to run a business.
