Once I knew the exact type of SUV I wanted by visiting local dealerships here in Columbus, I was fortunate enough to find the exact SUV and equipment at Serpentini Chevrolet of Tallmadge. Before I was willing to drive the two hours and purchase the SUV, I checked out the reviews of the dealership, examined each of numerous pictures of the SUV on www.autotrader.com and made a final selection of the salesperson (Jim Lucas) because of the reviews I read online. Jim discussed the Carfax report and reviewed every picture to ensure all my questions were addressed. Jim was very personable and worked with me in obtaining a great price on my SUV. A very smooth and fast process. They were very helpful with my 3rd party inspector and the vehicle was in perfect condition and was very accurately described. Alan, the sales person I worked with, even took additional photos for me on specific questions I had. We took care of everything over the phone and email. I showed up and the vehicle was clean, fueled, and ready to go. All the paperwork was handled fast and I was done in under 30 minutes. Would highly recommend.

All I can say is they take care of you. The salespeople are great. They work with you not against you. The car I bought was more than I ever thought I was able to get and they took thier time and got me the deal I needed and not some back and forth "let me talk to my boss" game. My sales person was amazing and made the experience fun. Thier finance guy was a straight shooter and laid it all out and there was no gimmicks or hidden fees and we got the payment we needed. If you need a car then look no further! Trust me because I did at first and they all played the game. Bottom line is they are trustworthy and nice to be around...... Although they still wouldn't let me test drive a Vet but I don't blame them for that

WORST DEALORSHIP EVER!!! I am an 80% disabled Iraq War Veteran and limited on income. My wife and I went into this dealership based on a great review from our neighbor who is good friends with the Owner of Serpentini and his 2 sons. We spent several thousand on a Ford Taurus and not even 1 1/2 miles and less than 5 minutes after driving off the lot the car starts to break down. We live in Cleveland so I called the dealership to ask if we could bring it back and they said no. Then they said to bring it back another day and they would look it over to see if they could help with anything. I set up an appointment but on that way there the car couldn't even go over 25 miles per hour and was stalling out. I took it to a local repair shop and then asked if they could reimburse us for ONLY $140 of the repairs even though to this day it sits at the shop with several hundred dollars in repairs needed to get this car running. I sent Serpentini the repair bill showing it was paid, it was forwarded to the used car manager and I have left a message only to be ignored and NOT reimbursed even though I have proof saying they would do so. This is how they treat disabled veterans!!! WILL NEVER do business with them again and I am passing word around to all my veteran friends & organizations this same experience.

I purchased a car from this dealership a couple years ago, I was in a very bad spot in my life and needed to get into another car. I searched online which seemed like forever until i found a Toyota Corolla 2010 advertised at $10000, super condition with low mileage. I called and spoke to Carol who was extremely nice and helpful. She could help me out in my situation. I was then refereed to Nick in reference to the car. I test drove it and the windshield was cracked, of which Nick said no problem with getting it fixed. nick was nice but nothing spectacular, I knew what car i wanted so he didn't have to break a sweat. when all the paper work was drawn up i noticed that the price increased by $3000, when i questioned this Nick refereed me to Mark, This guy had one simple response to my questioning the price increase and his exact words were " you can buy it or don't" really? He was rude, an attitude that he could care less, I questioned again and explained i printed off the information from the web site and he replied with that same exact response concluding our conversation with "is that all?" Well needless to say I did take the car, I felt trapped in my personal situation and because i wanted to get a decent car, he is right it was my choice and i took the car. I still drive the car today and love it very much. However my financial situation has greatly improved and I have an awesome credit score. But the experience I had with Mark and the way he talked and treated me I found unacceptable, and will never go back or suggest to anyone just in case they have to deal with him. Even the porter who got my car ready when I picked it up was outstanding, friendly and kind. Simply was it that they just had me pay for the windshield for them to sell the car? or is that the way they do business with people down on their luck for the moment... However it leaves a terrible feeling with me every time i think of the bad experience. Be wary and walk away if you have to deal with any one who treats you this way.

Nick Appicella literally made buying my new Impala effortless. All I had to do is tell Nick which model I wanted to purchase, and with in a few hours he had a list of vehicles available to choose from that were readily available. I couldn't believe his patients. The first vehicle I picked out of the bunch wasn't exactly what I wanted, so Nick went out of his way to find the exact vehicle I wanted at another dealership. When it came to price and payment Nick new right where I wanted to be and he made it a no haggles deal over the phone. When I arrived at the dealership the vehicle was out front shining like a GEM ready for delivery and Randy Roberts in finance was waiting for me with paperwork ready to sign and banks lined up for the loan. Once done in finance Nick went over the whole entire vehicle and its systems to make sure I was comfortable with operating the vehicle while driving. I stopped in after the dealer had closed on a Friday night and seen a impala that looked really nice. sent a email when I got home and got a reply rather quickly. agent in Saturday morning to see Jim took it for a test drive and they was able to find a lender for my credit challenged past. I was happy with the way I was treated from the start to the finish of the deal. I would be more than happy to return and to the dealer for service or refering a frind to them.

The airbag system light came on in my 2012 Colorado and shut down the system so I called Serpentini chevy to get an appointment to get it fixed.When I arrived there on Thursday AM Dylan Stout was the service advisor to great me. He wrote up the problem with my truck and explained the approx. time and cost it was going to take to check the system out since the truck was just out of warranty by time and not miles. After a couple hours of going through the system the problem was found to be a defective wire inside of a door. The wireing harness had to be replaced and was going to be a very expensive repair because of the price of the harness. After calling GM and addressing my concern to them they contacted the dealer ship and confirmed the problem and came to the conclusion the harness was defective from the factory and sent a new one so the repair was made and the cost was more reasonable for me. Thanks to Dylan he saved me quite a few hundred dollars that day. This is only one of the reasons I buy and take my vehicles back to Serpentine Chevrolet for repairs. They care about their customers and go the extra mile to take care of them. I send a big thank you to all the employees at Serpentini Chevy and will continue to do business with them. I requested a test drive online. Nic contacted me letting me know the car was still on the lot and we made arrangements to test drive that night. Nic was very friendly and attentive when I arrived. I drove the car but needed my wife to drive it also. She was at work so Nic let me take the car to her on her lunch break. Went back to Nic after the wife drove the car and made him an offer. We agreed on the price, filled out the paper work and picked up the car the following day. I have only had one other auto purchase go this smooth. It was a joy. Had the car for 3 days and wife loves it! I wish more dealerships could be like Serpentini of Tallmadge!Thanks Nic!

Took half a day off drove over an hour to visit dealership fully intending to purchase a vehicle that I was communicating with the salesman about. he clearly know my expectations on pricing and promised the sales manager would be aggressive in working out the sale if I came down - despite those assurances, sales manager did not move one dollar from the internet price. Now, it's anyone's right to hold on their price but it is just wrong to drag someone way out of their way on a false promise in hopes of squeezing a sale.

I had my local dealership call about a pickup in the morning and they made a deal with Chris. Settled on a price site unseen and had arrangements to get it picked up. My local dealership got a call the next morning saying that it was no longer available and that it was sold to someone else. After some investigation and calling them personally, I came to find out that they had a better offer that afternoon on the day we had made a deal and sold the pickup to someone else after they had made a deal with us. When I personally called them Jim told me "That it was just business." Which means that they are MORE WORRIED ABOUT PADDING THEIR WALLET THAN TAKING CARE OF THEIR COSTUMERS AND KEEPING THEIR WORD. My feeling has always been that costumer service comes first and that your word should mean something. I would not recommend doing business with this dealership ever!!! They are not very honest people. Jeremy

Bought a used 2005 Subaru Legacy for a great price vs. Kelley BB and Cars.com. There was a haze on the windshield and the rear passenger side door would not open. The used car sales manager said they would repair both problems prior to delivery. When the car was delivered (to our home!) the door was repaired but the steam cleaning of the windshield did not remove the haze. Took a couple phone calls but Serpentini paid for the replacement of the windshield. Awesome dealership!

I came in for an oil change and because my brakes were bouncing. The work needed was more extensive than I thought. The service advisor was not clean in telling me prices. I asked each time she came in if the amount she told me was the new total. She said yes each time, but when I asked if that included the oil change and tire rotation, she said no. She told me each time that the amount she was the total, but then said no when I asked for confirmation. I have never had to confirm so many times to make sure I understood the total cost of my repairs. I would rather not deal with her in the future.

Can I give anything BELOW 0 STARS??The wife and I went to purchase a vehicle, put money down, signed an agreement that we would purchase the vehicle when it came in 2 days later and then 2 days after that we were informed that the vehicle was sold to someone else. My wife called the dealership location they were picking up the vehicle from and was informed that the vehicle was not sold and they still had it and that Serpentini never contacted them to pick up the vehicle. Serpentini Chevrolet in Tallmadge obviously never intended to pick up the vehicle for us! All they offered was to get a different vehicle for us which was not the one we wanted. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN AND YOU SHOULD THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU DO TOO!

I called the dealership twice to schedule an appointment regarding a low tire pressure issue. The operator attempted to connect me twice but was unsuccessful due to no available service representatives. The operator asked if I had wanted to leave a message for a callback, I agreed. I left my contact information along with a very detailed message. It was shared that I would receive a return call from a member of their service department. I waited a half hour and had yet to receive the courtesy callback. I called again and was able to connect with a service representative. I stated my concern and shared that I would stop by on my way home from work. The issue with the low tire pressure was resolved in a very efficient manner. Michael was friendly and quickly started the intake process. The wait in the customer lobby was pleasant. The only concern I had was that I did not receive a callback as requested but was able to have the issue resolved. The only area of concern is to have the callback request honored if that is the given expectation.

We were in the process of replacing a total loss vehicle with an equivalent used vehicle. After a lot of research and viewing a couple other vehicles at other dealerships I called in and verified that a Ford F150 we were interested was still on the lot. Alan was our salesperson and was absolutely professional throughout the process. It was bitterly cold so he had the vehicle running and ready for us when we arrived 40 minutes after our call. After our test drive where we felt it was a candidate to purchase he was 100% agreeable to the reasonable set of issues we had with it. Alan and the sales management staff worked with us on a price and a set of "we owe" items we needed fixed to where we were very happy with the purchase we made. Alan was outstanding throughout the whole process, understanding that we had done our research, knew what type of vehicle we wanted, and simply needed to decide ourselves between this one and another less upgraded truck from another dealer. The fact that Alan and the team did not hesistate to address the 3 minor issues we wanted fixed made it easy to make the sale.Two days later I returned with the vehicle to address the "we owe" items and the service department took care of them quickly and checked on me a number of times to make sure I was "Ok" while I waited. One item that had to be taken care of with a Ford dealer service department (their sister store) was reviewed with me carefully and I was set up such that I dropped by that dealer the same day and had my numeric entry code recovered. The whole process end to end was great. I'd buy here again.

I did have to wait about an hr and a half for the oil change to b completed but i totally understood because i was a little late. Everyone was very professional and kind. Absolutely no complaints. Amazingly beautiful facility. Top notch! When i bought my car everyone was so caring, kind, and understanding. They helped me through every step. It really made me comfortable.

I had prompt service by Alan Sipple over the phone when I called to see if a car was still available. When I got there I test drove it and loved it, but couldn't get financing for that one due to the year and mileage. Alan and his staff then gave me a 2012 Chevy Cruze to test drive. I loved it also, financing went through and I walked away a proud owner of a newer car. He even let my boys sit in the floor model Corvette's and get pictures in them, that made their days. If I had any questions or anything Alan has always been there to answer them whether it be by phone, email or by stopping in to the dealership. He was one of the nicest sales men I have dealt with in a long time when it came to buying a new vehicle. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know looking for a new vehicle. He is awesome.

my brand new truck had an unfortunate accident while the dealership had the truck and sent it out to a third party for aftermarket upgrades. The gave me a brand new truck loaner for the time my truck was being worked on in the body shop. I just got the truck back and it looks as good as new.

My wife and I walked into the dealership. Jim was standing there as if to welcome friends into his home. He greeted us warmly. offered us something to drink, and asked us what we were interested in. During our conversation He made us feel comfortable and relaxed. He answered all our questions. He did a really good job on getting us the best financing. The best part was there was no pressuring us into a sales. He allowed us the time to think about what we wanted to buy. Really down to earth kinda guy, understanding all our concerns as well. I had asked the service rep to have the mechanic do an oil consumption test prior to oil change and he said he would but there was no documentation about it or if the oil level was ok. I now have to do the consumption tests all over again to determine if its a sensor problem or an actual oil loss problem.

Bill Fellows sold me a truck 3 years ago and he was great to work with. We had the deal all worked out before I got there so all I needed to do was come in and sign the papers. When I decided I wanted to trade in my truck for a new one, I picked up my phone and called Bill. Scheduled an appointmemt. It took 90 minutes to get oil change. This same service takes no more than 45 minutes at other places without an appointment. If the service was not provided under lease agreement, we wouldn't come back again for that particular service.

My salesman, Bill Fellows, went out of his way to be helpful. He is truly an asset to your organization. Also, your dealership is so much more attractive since the remodel. I also feel that your service dept is HONEST. I've had the oil in my car changed there a number of times, plus other service. I had taken my Malibu (which I traded in for my new Cruze) to a national tire/repair store a couple of times, and both times they told me a tie rod needed to be replaced (once the right front and once the left front). I brought my Malibu to your dealership and the tie rods were fine. Being female, some places try to bilk women, and that just makes me angry. Your dealership does NOT do that. They are honest, and I appreciate that. (I love my new Cruze.)

At first I was overall happy, but the vehicle I purchased two days ago was missing the correct key and the owners manual. I needed the owners manual for the door code for my keyless entry and more importantly, I needed the correct key because it only had a spare with no built in fob, like it should. When test driving, I asked the salesman about the key, he stated that it the keys unlocked automatically when he walked up close to it (I can guarantee you that is NOT the case.) Fast forward to today when I called about it and was informed they did not have the original key or owners manual and that I would have to get them replaced at a Ford dealership, and I would have to pay for it. I really think that is poor customer service. I realize you are not a Ford dealership but since the salesman insinuated that I had nothing to worry about it, I strongly feel that I should not have to pay for this. If I had known I would have had to pay and wait at a Ford dealership for hours to get a new key cut and programmed, I probably would not have purchased this vehicle. All in all... do your research and stick to your first instinct. The salesmen should probably be familiar with the vehicle they are trying to sell. It's sad that I know more than him and that I didn't stick to my guns about the key before signing the paperwork and driving off. No one wants to pay $200+ on a key after just purchasing a $17,000 vehicle.

I wish sometimes the small stuff was 'sweated' a little more. I hear about a multi-point inspection, but a sheet showing that all is never attached to the receipt I get as it is at another dealer I've gone to lately as they could schedule me sooner for oil changes; my decklid was open (unlatched) as I approached the car when picking it up; and my right mirror was tucked in from what I assume was the car wash--same as last time I was in there when I picked my car up. Of course, I didn't realize this until I was driving the car home and needed to use the right mirror.

Truly a good experience with buying a car overall, which is ironic that such could exist. Usually there is much haggling, but their online price was reasonable and they honored this. The car was in excellent condition all around, unlike other dealerships who had one mediocre car for a low price and all the other similar but nicer cars were way overpriced. I wish this had been the first place we visited; it would have saved alot of time, gas, and aggravation. We live over an hour away; we already had driven to Columbus 2x's and with no success. I highly recommend the staff at this dealership.

They sold my Wife a KIA that was a 2002 in really clean shape inside and outside.one month later she went to The beach on vacation. She stopped for gas an noticed a leak and asked the station attendant to look at it. The underside was so rusted up that they deemed in unsafe to drive as every line or part they touched crumbled. The cost fro this repair was over 1500 dollars and she had to rent a car for 500 more so they could order and wait on parts to make it safe to drive.When she got home the exhaust system fell off and while the tailpipe was hanging it melted thru her bumper. Another 329 dollars spent. I went in to talk to them and the General sales Manager started out nice but when he looked at the sale records he said "sorry. you bought it as is". I stated that I could not believe they put it on the rack to check it out saw this extensive rust and sold it anyway. He said they quaranteed safefy and I should have took it to a mechanic for review prior to the purchase! So it is my fault they screwed us! It was NOT safe and needs brakes and what ever else is going to fail. He did offer to take it in as a trade. Now why would I want to get screwed again! The law states as is makes it our problem. But " I am proud to be an America" is xxxxxxxx because morally they should NEVER have put it on the lot.

The service advisor was not friendly. He hardly acknowledged me when I entered. When I came back to pick up my car, he seemed to have an attitude. He sent me to the girl at the end of the counter for my keys and paperwork. My papers were not there. He did not believe us. He had to come over and check himself. I told him again that the papers were not mine. He then went back to his desk and found them. His customer skills are lacking greatly. He is the reason I would not recommend this dealership. Service is everything!

I recently purchased a new 2014 Chevy Impala at Serpentini Chevrolet, and I must say, customer service, quality of work, friendliness, overall experience, and price all deserve a higher rating then your survey allows. My husband and I have been dealing with Mr. Bill Fellows since 1993.The customer service we receive from Bill continues to go unmatched by any other car sales person we have ever dealt with. We have, and will continue referring family and friends to him. My overall experience was one ease and comfort from the time we walked unto the lot until I drove the car home. The entire staff should be commended as we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. One may think buying a new car to be intimating, but when dealing with Bill we always know we will receive a fair and honest price. This time was no different, as I received a great trade in value for our 2007 Impala and great leasing price for my new car, all in an experience of ease. Before taking home my new car there was a little bit of work to be done on the back bumper. The quality of work looks factory perfection. As you well know, this new model is quite different then the 2007,and much explaining is needed as "how to" everything works. Bill went over details of the car, but as time allowed, I needed to come back to learn more. My husband and I returned at a time Bill was not available and very kindly Mr. Jim Lucas explained in detail the workings of the car. We appreciated Jim's warm and friendly manner, making sure we understood how the car worked. Jim is truly an asset to your sales team. I/we are having so much fun driving the car, we love it. Thank you to all, especially Bill and Jim!

I had seen the truck listed online. I called in and spoke with Alan. He was very polite and checked to see if it was still available for me. He then invited me to come in for a test drive. He was able to let me go for about an hour test so I could show it off to my wife. ;) I returned and Alan asked if I had concerns or anything special I wanted done for the truck. I asked for an alignment and another detail. These were performed at no extra cost to me and came out great. I will definitely be buying all my vehicles from Serpentini from now on and would recommend Alan to anyone thinking of buying a new vehicle. A+ service guys!!!Thanks,Chris Hodge

I want to thank everyone at Serpentini Chevrolet at Tallmadge for their undivided attention, especially Alan Sipple. He was so patient, never pushy and I can tell by his face, how genuine his effort was. I came in thinking I was going to purchase a car, but instead leasing one turned out to be more advantageous (money-wise). I never felt pressured or pushed to change my mind or even change my car of choice. At first, a Chevy Volt was 1/3 cars that I had in mind. However, I was realistic enough to know that I didn't want to budget that far up. And believe it or not, both Alan and the owner of this location gave me a break-down of what I would expect if I did aim for the Chevy Volt. Thus, that is what I wanted. I wanted a new car, but not have a "GLORIFIED" experience that will hurt me in the long-run. Even before we met in person, I was the one who first contacted Alan (it was a referral). From the 3-4 detailed phone calls to the actual meet and greet, I don't think I will find anyone similar. He is subtle, honest, informative, accommodating and just too xxxx likable. I drove from Toledo to Serpentini to purchase a Mini Cooper I was extremely interested in. I test drove it and all was fine. I was there until close and employees had already left, but was able to drive away by 6:15pm with my new car. Unfortunately, an hour within my drive, three things began to happen. 1. My trunk light continously went on, causing an interior light to come on every 10 seconds as I was driving home. 2. The car began to rattle terribly. 3. The passenger airbag light came on, meaning the passenger would not have an airbag if we were in an accident. I emailed my car salesman the next morning to find out what I should do to follow up on these issues (Serpentini was closed on Sundays). I live almost three hours away, so I preferred not to drive it back, but was willing to, if they were going to fix the items on my new car. I never heard back. I called and left messages. Never heard back. The rattling became so bad and the car was shaking, so I took it to a local auto shop for an estimate. Turns out the support bars under the Mini were so loose that I could not drive it back to Akron to be fixed. The trunk was also misaligned (and could drain the battery if I didn't fix it since the trunk light kept going on). I had the auto shop fix it, since it was too dangerous to drive all the way back to Akron. I called, emailed and snail mailed a letter with the cost of the repairs and my warranty to my salesman and the general manager. I finally got a call back from my salesman saying they weren't sure what they could do since I didn't have the vehicle fixed at Serpentini. All I asked was to be reimbursed for my $106.75 bill since the car was incapable of making it back to Akron. Also, how did the support bars become loose? It's very difficult for that to happen on a car without a person manually doing that. My salesman said he would check on a reimbursement and I have not heard anything since April. As for the passenger seat airbag, that still is not fixed because it is over $600 to fix it. Also, the local auto shop told me my brakes were squealing so much because they used after market brakes on my car when they replaced them, instead of ones that are for a 2008 Mini. Overall, I am extremely unhappy with the service and expected the new car I purchased (yes it was used, but new to me, and guaranteed to have been looked over by their shop) to work for more than an hour without problems.I wanted to add a follow up to this review. After this posting, Serpentini did respond to me and agreed to repay me for the bill. Thanks

I was pleased with the experience and the price related with the service repair. My only complaint is that my child's car seat was removed for what appeared to be the convenience of the individual moving the car into and out of the service area and I was not told that the seat had been taken out.

My husband and I stopped in to look. He found a vehicle he loved and we were able to test drive it and work with salesman to fit our budget. All the guys there were friendly and very helpful. It did take half the day but it was worth it. We both really enjoyed laughing and having fun with the guys. The car was detailed for us when we returned and they gave us a great deal on our trade in. Definitely refer others to dealership and salesman. Nick was very easy to work with, not pushy at all. He offered us something to drink and made us feel at home. Other customers there were real nice and easy to talk to.

I was referred to Nick by a friend to find the make and model car I wanted. He exceeded my expectations. For 11 days he searched high and low before finding it. He had the car delivered from New York. His customer service is really top notch. I felt completely at ease in making this big decision. I never felt pressured or nervous. I came in to to Serpentini in Tallmadge looking for a used car, preferably a jeep or truck with 4wd. I was immediately greeted by Alan and he sat down with my wife and me and asked a few questions to find out what we were looking for. He was very friendly and he helped us find a few options to look at within our price range. I ended up really liking the 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo that he showed us. I decided to buy it and Alan helped me get the best deal possible. He helped us through every step of the process. He was never pushy. He worked as hard as he could to get us the best deal for the Jeep and was always honest and up front with us. He even offered us our first oil change free on him.The experience was smooth and everyone was friendly. I would definitely recommend Serpentini of Tallmadge for anyone looking for a vehicle.

Jay Davis really helped me by using the best deal from the coupon book. He also told me that a bushing to the control bar was causing a noise but that it is mechanically sound and can wait to be replaced until the next oil change thus, spreading out the cost to something that I could afford. He explained things in terms I could understand and I was very pleased with my visit.

The reason I am giving this rating : When I pull up to the Service Center garage , I am greeted with one of the service techs that say good morning and how can I help you. I told him I'm here for an oil change. He takes my keys and says that I can wait in the other room where there's hot coffee . He says that it will take 45 minutes which it is every time. During my visit I like to go into the showroom and look at cars.When my car is done , the service tech comes up to me and says your all done Mr. Genger. Do you have any questions ? I have never seen such professionalism and knowledge at any dealership in my lifetime. When my 1994 Honda Accord stops running, I will be coming to you for either a new or used car. I know I don't have to worry about buying a used car from this dealership even if there is no warranty. I know that Serpentini will make sure its safe and sound car. Had vehicle we wanted to look at up front when we arrived. Vehicle was nice and clean. Battery was not working was replaced picked up truck next day. They were very patient since it took me longer to reach dealership than expected. All necessary paperwork was done so when we came in next day we were in and out very quickly. The only thing that I was upset with regarding my oil change and tire rotation is that my car was not vacuumed out. Even Walmart provides this service to customers who get their oil changed there. I can understand my car not being washed due to the extreme cold, but my interior being vacuumed would have made this experience perfect. Otherwise, my experience was superb. Everyone was friendly, price was great, service was completed in a timely manner, and the waiting area is wonderful!

service was good but my recall no 14008 very bad I lost 4 miles per gallon I was getting 19 to 20 miles per gallon I am down to 16 if I am lucky I am not very happy GM states 22 miles per gallon 1 recall my mileage is gone now I am stuck with a $50.000 truck the mileage is very bad on I know I am out of luck of getting this fixed

Cost was a factor for this visit, your coupon didn't help as much as its helped in the past but the service as always was excellent ...I know I've stated this before, but here it is again. I live in Bath, it takes me 45 minutes to get to the dealership because there's no easy way to get to dealership from my home ...I keep coming back because Jay and Dillon were/are very professional, courteous, personable and very informative ...they provide me with a ride to work and pickup which allows me to have my truck serviced without waiting ...these are the things that keep me coming back even though time and gas are a huge consideration in traveling the distance to have my oil changed and tires rotated at Serpentini

My overall experiences with Serpentini Chevrolet in Tallmadge, OH have always been pleasant things! I never dread going there for a repair, a question, or a purchase because I know I will be well taken care of and treated top notch! The Customer Service Department is clean, precise and on top of anything that any of my vehicles ever needed. Not to mention the coffee is outstanding as well. I've always been met at the service dept. door, processed in and out in a timely manner, and treated like a loyal customer should be treated.I stopped in to ask a question about a letter I'd received in the mail concerning my pending lease expiration. Jim Lucas, a sales consultant, took me to the office and answered every single question that I had, in plain language that I understood completely. With his knowledge and expertise of the product and an understanding of just what I wanted and needed in my vehicle, Jim had all of the details for my next Cruze all worked out to my satisfaction and ordered in under an hour! To me, that is phenominal timing because before I discovered Serpentini, I can remember sitting in a dealership elsewhere for up to 8 agonizing hours!!!!Then Jim took me to see Jennifer Hikade the Finance Manager. You know what? I went there at the end of my own 10 hour work day, and I wouldnt have been surprised if Jen wanted to be done and get home as well... but she also answered each of my questions and concerns about the financing end of this experience. She showed me my options and gave me exactly what I wanted! And we both ended our days laughing and happy. Jen took the fear out of my car financing experience and made it an enjoyable one. I like Serpentini in Tallmadge, OH. I am on my 2nd vehicle purchase from them and fully intend on remaining a loyal customer to them and to Chevrolet products as well. This is my second brand new Cruze and I cant wait to get off of work so I can go "Cruzin" again today! Thank you Jim Lucas and Jennifer Hikade for making my day! The last thing I enjoy doing is buying a new car. I feel that I spend the entire day in a dealership. This did not happen at Serpentini. I came in and test drove the car I wanted. Nick wrote down all the features I was looking for and while I was driving the test car he looked to see what was available. When I came back he had all the listings ready to review. I choose the one I liked and 2 days later my new car arrived. I was out of the dealership in 2 hours the first day and that included the test drive time and 1 hour the next time for financing. I felt Nick talked to me and not my husband, as this was my car. The trading was fair and to the point. I did not feel harassed into buying something and I was not talked down to. Thank you Nick for being the salesman to answer the phone when I called.

The customer service here was great! I was approached by Chris Lahm(Assisted by Alan) in the parking lot. He was friendly as anyone you could possibly meet. He asked me what I was there for and I told him a car that I saw online that they had in stock. He was upfront with me and very understanding of my situation. If I had to be sold a car by anyone in any car dealership I would definitely choose Chris again.

Chris was one of the few sales people to ever call me back and follow up with my visit to a dealership and Jim was very helpful and knowledgable and made the sales process easy and quick. I had researched new cars online for months. I decided on a new Malibu and found the one I wanted at Serpentini. My parents have dealt with them for many years and I never heard a complaint. When I got to the lot, I was greeted by several employees and then met Nick Apecella, who was most friendly, respectful, knowledgeable and just an all around great guy. When it was discovered the Malibu on the lot did not have a sunroof, Nick found a similar car on the lot for me to test drive. He was able to locate my car in Michigan and sent someone to pick it up. When I went to pick it up, Nick was there to go over all the buttons and knobs with me and pair my cell phone to the car. He even registered me on OnStar, which is another great selling feature. This was the most easy and quick car buying experience I have ever had. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. There was also none of that running back and forth to get deal approval from a manager and they gave a great deal on my trade. Oh, and a full tank of gas on delivery! Serpentini has a new lifelong customer. Thanks, Nick, and everyone there. I LOVE my new car!

My first purchase took way too long to do but this time they were really on the ball. They were busy but still got us in and out. The car is wonderful. my experience at serpentine was just awesome! had not really planned on buying there just stopped in on way to work to check out inventory.checked out a 2005 jeep grand Cherokee limited and liked the vehicle. Nick let me take it for a test drive and of course I lived it right away.upon returning to dealership after drive just explained to nick my purchase detail regarding price and what I wanted to pay .there was absolutely no hassle about price at all. was able to pay what I wanted and picked up the car next morning.I want to say that serpentine was a really great place to visit and purchase a car. all the sales folks were very friendly and I will say emphaticallythere was absolutely no pressure any all from anyone. these folks are great to work with. He waited patiently through my indecision and guided me through every single step of the process, offering even to let me call upon him on his days off/any time of day. He felt like a friend rather than someone working for commission. He genuinely cares about his customers, and I can say that with sincerity. Not as attentive as I first expected when pulling up, but they were busier than they appeared. Once contact was made the service was outstanding. The counter person was knowledgeable and courteous. He kept in contact during the repair process providing me with updates on the progress of my vehicle. I expected less. (Their old radio ads with the owner giving political opinions were really annoying to me.)

Came in to buy a 2013 Chevy Cruze at an advertised price of $13655. I apparently took the bait to come in and drove in from Westlake, but when I got therer they would not honor the advertised price. As a result the price was increased 13%.to $15400. Which is over budget. Will look elsewhere.

After much deliberation and online research, we decided to start our new vehicle shopping experience at Serpentini Chevrolet in Tallmadge, OH. We were in the need of two new vehicles; one being a pickup truck, and the other an SUV/crossover. Undecided between Ford, Dodge, and Chevy, we leaned toward our initial inclinations with Chevy. We arrived at the Tallmadge dealership, and were cordially greeted by Alan Sipple. Based on very positive reviews of Nick Apicella, we requested Nick's assistance when Alan first introduced himself. Alan let us know that Nick was unavailable at the moment, but would be available shortly. In the meantime, Alan very adequately answered our questions and offered terrific product knowledge. Shortly thereafter, Nick became available and furthered the sales process. His demeanor and presentation were very welcoming. He answered every question I had with earnest and offered insight into other considerations that I might have otherwised overlooked, without being a "pushy salesman". There was absolutely zero pressure with Nick, and yet he promoted the options very well. After the inital discussion and test drive, we let him know that we were going to be shopping equivalent vehicles with Ford and Dodge, and would let him know our decision within the next week. This is the point where I was expecting a crude sales push to get a deal closed that day. To my surprise and pleasure, Nick did not resort to this tactic, and praised our diligence in researching other vehicles, confident that the Chevy vehicles would surpass the competition. This immediately raised the bar for shopping elsewhere, and I expected similar professionalism with other dealerships. Unfortunately, one dealer nearly tried to sell me anything with four wheels, while another apparently didn't care if I purchased something or not. After test driving, our decision was simple: Back to Serpentini.When all was said and done, we ended up purchasing a 2013 Silverado and a 2013 Equinox. Nick performed the closing sales process, answered our last minute questions, and transferred us to financing (all on his day off, I might add). At this point, we concluded the process with Finance Manager, Jennifer Hikade. I figured it was down to "all business" and a very matter-of-fact direction from this point forward. Surprised again, Jennifer was very pleasant to work with and showed geniune cheerfulness about our new purchases. She made the most "unexciting" part of the purchase so much more tolerable and left us knowing we made the right decisions.The vehicles themselves will have to prove out over time, but the people at this dealership have definitely proven themselves to us, and we highly recommend them.

We found a great deal on a truck at this dealership on AutoTrader. We were skeptical at first because we live about 3 hours from the dealership location. We sent an email, and Daniel called the next day. He was incredibly helpful and cooperative. It was his day off, but he spoke with my husband in detail about the vehicle. He took our information over the phone and we told him the exact maximum payment we wanted. Daniel called back a short time later with a fantastic deal just as we asked for. When we arrived at the dealership a few days later, he was just as friendly in person. He had the truck ready up front for us to test drive, and it was nice not to wait after the long commute. The vehicle was perfect for us and by far the best deal we found in several weeks of shopping. Daniel was prepared with paperwork, and we had very little wait time to close the deal. We even got a considerably lower interest rate than originally quoted, which was a pleasant surprise.This is our 5th new/late model Chevy purchased, and although it was our first trip to this dealer, it was by far our best experience. The process was seamless, no pressure, no hassle, with a great salesman leading the way. I highly recommend this dealership, and I would also recommend asking for Daniel by name. He will definitely work hard for you and treat you well! I would not hesitate the long trip again for this level of customer service, and we would definitely shop there again!

Went up with my fiance for a van she was approved for. Was not intending to buy a vehicle for myself here and i was scheduled already locally, in Columbus, to meet with another dealer the following day. From the greeting of my sales rep Jimmy was Hello how are you and how my I help you... Unlike some dealer's and sales rep's who greet you with the WHAT BRINGS YOU IN TODAY!!! (Um i don't know a new couch) ha ha ! Jimmy was more interested in what I had to say and what i was looking for in a car. I was caught off guard by that since I am a woman shopping alone for a car. I felt as if I was talking to a good friend. Not to a car sales rep. He didn't lead to me a car I didn't like in fact after i told him my price range and was just looking for he took me to just one car and said what do you think.... I loved it the price was great low miles. I was sold! He really listened to me and took what I said and made it work! Through each step he was very knowledgeable and informative about what was going on. Mark at the desk what a GREAT GUY. Ladies he looks a little intimidating at first but he's a GREAT GUY! he will go the extra mile to get you great financing. And the last step of signing all the paper work... Carol.... Such a nice lady she explained each paper that was presented to me that had to be singed. Before my paper work done being signed Jimmy had my car washed and a full tank of gas. Purchasing my new Volt from Serpentini was a wonderful experience. Jim Lucas went over and beyond my expectations in order to accommodate me since my work schedule conflicted with his. He was very knowledgeable and was able to address all my questions and concerns. One thing that I must mention that really impressed me that I will never forget, every dealer that I had visited for a test drive wanted a copy of my license, insurance card and my first born. Not Jim. When I brought my family back to take another test drive, Jim stuck plate on the car, tossed me the keys and said, Have fun!! With his help, that was probably the smoothest financing experience in all of my previous car purchases with other dealers that I have ever had.Any finally I cannot forget Mr. Serprntini. From the moment I pulled onto the lot I felt welcome. I found an Audi A6 online and contacted Nick to let him know I was coming up to look. When I arrived the car was already pulled out front and ready. Nick was very easy to talk to and very informative about the Audi even though they are a Chevy dealer. I did not once feel pressured. There were a few minor imperfections with the car and Nick was honest enough to point them out. This means a lot, it is frustrating to get a vehicle home and later find some flaws you did not see prior to purchase. I would strongly suggest Serpentini and Nick Apicella to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I've bought over two dozen new vehicles over the years and this transaction was the easiest ever with the best prices on both the purchase and the trade-in.I e-mailed the dealership, Jim Lucas contacted me, we spoke for twenty minutes and worked out a great purchase price for an Avalanche truck and a great potential trade-in value for my Honda truck. When I arrived at the dealership they confirmed the trade-in value, had the paperwork all completed and I was out the door in less than an hour.Jim is a pro who understands his potential customers and doesn't attempt to sell things that the customer isn't going to want or need. He didn't load the deal with any extras such as wax jobs or extended warranties (although those things may be important to other buyers) and didn't even put me through the ordeal of dealing with the F&I manager. Simply, I walked in, Jim had the paperwork ready, I signed and was out the door. Naturally, Jim showed me how to operate the vehicle.I chose the dealership because they had the vehicle I wanted and after talking with Jim Lucas knew that they had the deal I wanted. I didn't talk to or visit any other dealerships having already done extensive research on the Internet. Serpentini doesn't play games--they put their best price right on their web site saving the trouble of negotiating. Mine was a cash deal which is likely the least profitable type for the dealership yet they were happy to make me happy.Call Jim Lucas--you won't be disappointed! (no, he's not a relative or a friend but after you meet him, you'll have a new friend).

Our experience was okay to begin with. Chris was a little dry. But, Darryle was very friendly and talkative. If I had it my way, Chris would have had nothing to do with the deal. We bought our vehicle or so we thought. Not completely their fault. However, when I was made aware how much we were getting ripped off, We Said NO and returned their vehicle after my husband did them a complete wash, wax and detail. There were fees in our contract that should have never been. Such as a Contractors fee of $3000.00. That we assume was to get the money back from the vehicle we were trading. They talk to our bank who can give me a better deal and they say "Take their vehicle out of the equation," and we can have them pay another 200.00 and they can purchase the car. After being extremely irate. We continued our search, we are currently dealing with a much better dealership that is their competition. For the price we would have paid for "10" we can buy a "12". To add insult to injury, they dropped the price of their vehicle $4000.00! And Yes we seen it (that took guts), however, we will not nor our family ever deal with these people again. When I got my vehicle back after the so called transfer. I did not receive my mats or one other item we forgot. If you do purchase a vehicle, make sure you check the paper work for extra fees and ask what they are for. We are so glad they messed up, and our bank would not do the deal. It Saved us a lot of $$$$ and greed canceled this deal.

My experience with Nick, the salesman was good at first. Of course they treat you wonderfully until you purchase your next vehicle and then they act like they don't want any part of you afterwards. I bought my vehicle and had to return it within 2 days after due to multiple issues. While 2 out of 3 issues were fixed, the other was not and after calling to get it handled they act as though they are simply doing you a favor and as if you are wasting their time.. Well Hello! Maybe if my vehicle was serviced properly before I purchased it I wouldn't have to come back and have it fixed multiple times. I then contacted Nick about a special easy request and he simply redirected me to the next department without even so much as a thank you for calling and putting the extra commission in my pocket. Overall my satisfaction with Serpentini Chevrolet is low and I will probably not purchase another vehicle from them. They don't go very far to keep the customer happy when that customer is what keeps them in business and spends thousands of dollars at their dealership. Customer service goes such a long way nowadays and if a dealership such as Serpentini can't manage that, I'm sure they will lose more business to others who will go that extra mile for the customer.

I knew exactly what I was looking for. I used a service provided to me by USAA to find the car you want for the best price. The Serpentini dealership is about 5 hours away from me but had an amazing price on the exact van I wanted in the color I wanted (for the deal we got, I probably would have bought it if it was purple). I was really worried about buying a van without seeing it or driving it first. I submitted my information and received a phone call from Darryl the next day. He has been a dream to work with. I have never met him since we made the deal over the phone but I can tell you he is a wonderful salesman and nice man. Like I said, we were apprehensive about car we found on the internet and have never seen but it was easier than I ever would have dreamed. Between Darryl and my wonderful bank, I really didn't have to do much. I've called Darryl several times to ask him questions about the van since I've never seen it in person and he is always so helpful. They even deliver!! We saved over $5,000 and they delivered so 5 hours away wasn't a big deal. Everyone I spoke to during this odd transaction (many of them said they had never sold a car this way) were so very helpful. I would recommend them to any of my friends and family. Great people and great prices. Thank you!

I stopped in to look at the Chevy Cruze and the Chevy Sonic. Derryl was very friendly and informative about both models. He offered to let me test drive each one, even getting out the Sonic that was on the showroom floor. I tested out two different trims of the Cruze. Derryl was knowledgable about both models and listened to what we wanted. We weren't ready to make a decision that day and he did not try to push us into doing so. After looking at a couple of other dealerships we decided to purchase a Cruze from Serpentini. When we returned Derryl was not there that day, but Daniel picked up right where he left off. He let us test drive the vehicle again before making a final decision and made sure I was comfortable with how to work all of the features before I left. He even stayed after the dealership was closed to make sure my On-Star service was working properly. Overall I was very satisfied with the service I received from Sepentini and I am very happy with my new Cruze!

We found a great, used car on-line at the Tallmadge store and first contacted them by phone. We talked with Darryl Thompson and he was friendly, knowledgable and set up an appt. for us to come in and take a look at the vehicle. We arrived a little early and he was helping other customers. He was very kind and accomadating and easy to talk to. Buying a car can be a stressful experience but he helped to make it pretty painless. We had heard an add on the radio about a sale on cars with hail damage and that Serpentini could get financing for just about anyone. Since we were driving the eyesore of the neighborhood and our credit score leaves a lot to be desired we figured we would go check it out. Not expecting to much we hit the sales lot looking for the cheapest used car we could find. We were trying to look around at what was available without attracting the attention of any pushy salesmen. We didn't find anything that met our needs that we felt we could afford so we were heading back to our car, when we got caught! Except this pushy salesman approached us as if he was talking to an old friend and suddenly I didn't want run. He said, "let me get someone who can help you.". I thought darn, here comes the pushy salesman....Darryl Thompson was anything but! He too greeted us like an old friend, he didn't laugh when he asked us what price range we were looking for and we responded "as cheap as possible", he didn't shake his head in disapprovement when explain our credit wasn't very good, or that we didn't have much to put down. Although we were every car salesman worst nightmare, he continued to treat us as if we were a valuable customer. We were sure we really couldn't buy anything, he listened to our needs. Then they suggested that they run our credit for a preapproval, so we would know what price range we should be looking at. That definately made sense to us, why look at something you can't afford.After a short time he asked us if we wanted to look at a Mercury Mountaineer, I don't know how he knew that was my dream vehicle. We were hesitant because we didn't want to fall in love with it and not be able to get it. The price was twice as much as what we thought we could afford. Amazingly the payments worked out close to what we wanted and we were approved! Everyone we dealt with was so kind and friendly, they detailed the car, took time to show us how everything operated in the car. We drove off in the most amazing vehicle we have ever owned! And to think we were trying to get off the lot without being noticed. This was undoubtably the best car buying experience we have ever had. We will indeed recommend Sepentini to anyone we know looking for a car and we will be back for sure!

His friendliness and compassion for my situation provided me enough comfort to have him handle the loan application over the phone. Daniel Swartz was excellent. I wanted to test drive a new chevy I'm interested in purchasing, and like every other dealer he went with me during the test drive showing me features etc. Unlike every other dealer he then let me back out to drive the car myself. It's difficult to make heads or tails of a test driver when you're worried about the sale individual sitting next to you and the opportunity to drive a little bit without a sales rep there was invaluable. I'm currently a 24 year old male, and while I'm not the reckless type I'm sure my profile has excluded me from a number of lone test drives because I was assumed as such. I appreciate Daniel had the ability see through stereotypes and realize I'm a professional looking to buy a car just like anyone else.

Bought not one but TWO cars from Dan in one day !!! He is my new "go-to" guy! He really listened to what I needed and wanted in a car and then had 3 options for me within minutes. One was a GREAT fit - and I bought it. The process was long (as expected), but Dan and the other staff made my stay comfortable. I was told about Serpentini by a friend who had purchased three new cars from this dealer in 2011 and was very satisfied with how he was treated. I had a 2004 truck that I had purchased new. I had been to a lot of local dealers and was looking at 2009 and 2010 trucks. I had a number in my head that I wanted for my truck and how much I was willing to pay for the new truck. No one was able to get me where I wanted to be. I was put in touch with Jim and he not only made it happen but he put me in a loaded 2012 brand new truck with 20 inch chrome wheels and lots of bling for less than other dealers wanted for a work truck and I was in and out in less than 2 hours. I will with out a doubt buy all the rest of my cars from Jim and Serpentini. Of all the car pucheses I have made this was the best with out a doubt.

Well I like the car we purchased. 2010 g6. But after taking it home and really looking at. Im not very happy with some things with the car. First the car needed aligned. Pulled to the right. After looking at the front. Some one put a used tire on the passenger front. The tire is dry rotted. Also the passenger side has been painted. So it must have been in a accident at some point. I would like to see the car fax which I was not offered. The third brake light has a problem it stays on. You have to hit the trunk to get it to go off. The front rotors where warped. Brakes pads bad. The battery cover under the hood is broken. The spare tire mount is gone. So you hit a bump and it rattles. The passenger lower piece under the door some of the mounts are missing so its loose. The cup holder rubber is missing. The passenger air vent is broken. I guess next time I buy a used car Ill check it out better. Plus the rear brakes needs replaced. It has a 3 month 3000 mile warrant, dont know if some of these things would be covered. That is a good question. I got burnt by ganley ford last fall on a f150. I didnt think I would get burnt by another dealer. Especially a gm dealer.

I first Came to Serpentini becasue I got a service coupon book in the mail and was shopping to get brakes on my Saab 9-3 and Kevin in Service came up with a very fair price for the repair and was done very efficiently. So I was looking to replace my other Saab 9-5 if I got a fair price for it. I came to Serpentini and I got a fair price for my trade and Jim was able to get the Malibu I wanted to the lot for me to test drive. By doing that my wife liked the car and the deal was done. I will keep coming here for service and for future purchases as long as everything is done as well as its been so far even though its not the closest dealership to my home or work, worth the drive.

We bought a used impala the process was ok, but when I asked our sale man if they would come down on the price of the car. Nick said it should not be a problem since we are repeat customers. I asked Nick a couple of times if they dropped the price on the car. I got no respond until we sign the paper work and I notice they did not drop the price of the car. Well this show you how they treat there repeat customers. Will I come back to Serpentini Chevrolet in Tallmadge, Ohio to purchase my next Car. This dealership was 90 miles away from my home, but the price on a used Jeep Grand Cherokee was very attractive. I didn't want to drive that far only to be disappointed with the condition of the vehicle, so I contacted the dealership first and asked about the vehicle. Jim answered all of my questions, and it was definitely worth the drive. The Jeep was priced well below comparably equipped Jeeps of the same model year, and it also had between 10,000 and 15,000 fewer miles than the other Jeeps that we have looked at. We are very happy with our vehicle purchase and the friendly service. I will call Jim when I'm ready to replace my other vehicle.

it was the first dealer that did not come out and pressure me . also i took my time in finding what i wanted. when jim came out ,he also did not pressure me,he was very professional in his approach and in helping me to find what i needed.i bought a cruze first but it was too small after having it for about six months. so i upgraded to a malibu and had the same professional service from jim as i did the first time. so i think that jim is a great asset to serpentini and dont let him go anywhere else. thanks hal lehman

I was recommended to Serpentini Chevy by my boss, and Jim was assigned to handle my new car purchase after my last car was totaled. We live about 50 miles away from the dealership, and Jim offered to find us the car we wanted and bring it to us to test drive to make it more convenient. We didn't make him do that, however, test driving at a dealership closer to home. We knew pretty specifically what we wanted, and Jim located the exact car and had it sent to the dealership for us to pick up. He was very patient with us on the financing side. We're expecting a baby in the next few months, so we had him run the numbers a variety of ways, lease v. buy, different interest rates, different lease lengths, etc., so that we could determine how we could replace the totaled car as affordably as possible, which we really appreciated. Jim helped us upgrade from a sedan to a baby-friendly crossover for only about $15 more a month than we paid on the totaled car, meaning our budget was virtually not impacted at all as we continue to prepare for the baby. Jim was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process, and I believe he even stayed late on a night the dealership wasn't open very late after work to accommodate our needs. Overall, the Serpentini experience and working with Jim exceeded our expectations and our previous experiences in buying cars.

If I only had one word to rate my experience it would be WOW! From the very beginning, with me asking a million & one questions, to the moment I drove my new Cruze out of the parking lot, Rick Howard was awesome! We arrived at 9am and we were signing paperwork by 10:30. Jim took us out onto the lot to physically look at the cars and then see what we could finace based on what our likes were. Previously we had gone to another dealership and sat for hours without looking at anything in person. Jim was friendly and it was very apparent that he knew what he was doing and had experience in the field. We didn't think we would be able to finance such a new vehical being young and having a limited credit history but Jim and the team made it happen for us. Now we have a safe, reliable car that we can have for many years to come with a great interest rate and warranty. I came in after hours on a Tuesday looking to buy a new care thinking they closed at 9pm. Josh and company had no issues with staying open 2 hours past closing helping me out. I noticed a tiny scratch on the vehicles that I was going to buy and without even asking when I came up to purchase it the next day, they had switched it out for one that was in mint condition after stating that this was an issue. Bill was the best salesman that my wife and I have ever dealt with. After shopping online for 4 months we knew what we wanted and Bill was the only salesman to listen to what we wanted. There was NO buying pressure at all. I found the truck online at there dealership in Talmage and Bill held the truck for us until we had time to go test drive the truck. Other dealerships around us in lake county wanted us to buy more than we wanted in a truck and did not want to budge on there price. One call to Bill and he quoted me a lower price then anyother dealer I looked at. Bill did make our buying experience wonderful and painless. Randy the finance manager was awsome he found us the best loan and did not pressure us into buying the extended warrenty or that clear coat protection. Our experience with the whole purchas was wonderful.

I filled out a contact questionaire and a financing information form on their website. I had thought that they could contact me about questions that I had on financing my car purchase. I recieved three e-mail responses but no phone contact. After my initial negative reaction to the missing personal follow-up, I was contacted by Monica Bailey who apologized for the delay in response and went the extra mile to put me in contact with the right people. Mark Chase called me personally to answer my questions and discuss my finance options. Both of them were very helpful.Although I have not found the perfect vehicle to purchase yet, we are working together to locate one within their dealer network. Saw car on line. Called to make sure it was in stock. Wife test drove car and brought it home for me to drive since we live near Cleveland. Drove it back and did the deal. Easy, no pressure, price was reasonable, vehicle is a "beast" (good thing for a HD pickup truck). Mr. Howard has a great personality and also knew the vehicle. The finance person was also not high pressure but efficient. Vehicle was serviced and ready in short order. We drove over an hour to the dealership so we were serious buyers. The test drive take home option was key. I have done this before at Liberty Ford. It's a good idea. One thing I see as a growing problem is that dealers are using the excellent condition description as opposed to good on all cars for the Bluebook or Clear Choice values which obviously makes the selling price comparison better. This vehicle for example had a cracked plastic cover over the passenger side headlight and a few nicks in the paint in the rear. I saw them and did the deal but this is why I did not rate the price as great.

It was an excellent buying experience. Larry Sluder was helpful and respectful. NO high sales pressure tactics were used. I experienced fast service too. I visited the dealership twice - once to initially look at the truck, and once to sign papers and drive the truck home. The total time spent at the dealership was less than an hour and a half.

Our over all experience was good. Our sales rep. was very courteous and made us feel comfortable. The financial person was very courteous.We had several issues with the vehicle after we took it home. The front floor mats were missing. I asked the sales rep. about replacing them. He has not gotten back to me yet. I also do not believe the oil was changed prior to me taking delivery of the car. The sales rep. says it was, but in looking at the oil it looks dirty to me. Also the car had not been detailed. Most preowned vehicles I have purchase have been detailed. The car had been cleaned, but not detailed. The under floor storage compmartments were dirty.Over all we had a good experience other than the aforementioned.

This is the second car we have purchased new from Serpentini. We have an Equinox- purchased a year ago- and a new Chevy Cruze purchased last month. My experience started out OK, until I took delivery of my car. I purchased a used car from Serpentini that I had shipped. The floor mats went missing and they tried to blame it on the detailer. They tried telling me they replace the mats. My car had just over 12,000 miles on it, everything in it looks brand new. Another huge issue was my odometer disclosure did not match. Someone at the dealership was tooling around in my car until it got delivered. I was told that they took the car 40 miles one way to get detailed AFTER I signed the contract. Apparently, they think I am extremely stupid.

I was very much treated (second class) when they discovered that I did not have the perfect credit rating and my trade in had negative equity. I was told they would see what they could do and that I would receive a call. Needless to say...I never received a call back and did not even get a return call after making an effort to contact the salesman. I was told by the floor manager that he did not know anything about my situation and he would have someone call me back. (no call)... I hope that Bob Serpentini reads this and is made aware that his sales people are not living up to the promises made by him in his T.V. and radio comercials.

Fiance and I had THE worst experience at Serpintini EVER today. You guys really live up to your awful reputation for terrible customer service - and the salesmen are shady, back door, liars. Normally I wouldn't make it a point to write about how horrible a place is but they put forth no honest effort at all, I mean, we both have great credit and were more than willing to come to a mutual agreement, but they wouldn't budge even ONE penny from sticker price...come on now, we all know you buy a lot of your cars at auctions and then hike up the price. I know you need to make money, and you still would've made plenty with our deal, we are good people and I'm sick of people trying to take advantage of that. Sorry for the run-on sentence, but I'm just fed up.

Everyone was wonderful at Serpentini Of Tallmadge I wouldn't buy a car anywhere Else..I went it into the dealership interested in a type of vehicle, They were very respectful . and found the best deal for me to meet my qualification, it was quick easy and everyone was so helpful.

I bought a 2007 Jeep Liberty from Serpentini this afternoon and I was extremely impressed with the treatment I received. I cannot say enough good things about Chris Byler and everyone else there. I had been to another dealer a few days earlier and was treated like dirt. I was specifically looking for a Jeep Liberty and they told me they were too expensive and they wouldn't be able to get me financed for what I wanted. They wouldn't even let me test drive a Jeep. At Serpentini, I was treated like a queen. They listened to me and showed me the kind of car I was interested in and worked to get me financed with a payment within the range I specified. Our salesman, Chris Byler, was awesome! We were treated with respect and made to feel like it was important to him that we got what we wanted. The finance manager, Randy also was very friendly and helpful. From the moment we walked through the door, our experience was great!

I bought a car last Thursday..my salesman was Nick and he was absolutely fabulous!He was hassel free no stress about buying a car...i had been looking as was getting frustrated..he said i didnt need to look any further he promised to get me in a car i loved for the payment i wanted and that what he did. I purchased a '07 Mercedes Benz ML500 through Serpentini last Friday and couldnt ask for a easier experience. I travel a lot and had limited time to do this deal. Chris was great. I drove up from Columbus, Ohio to buy this vehicle because of the great price. I was pleased with every aspect of this transaction. Again, GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!

Don't go out of business. You're the best! I have checked with other dealers, and was very disappointed with the results. After dealing with these other dealers, I have finally found the dealer that is up front with me. I told them what i had for a down payment and what my trade in was. This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. Karl was very helpful in every way and when I had a small repair made 3 weeks after I bought the car and it was in no way serpentinis fault Karl helped me out at that time to. I would gladly buy another car from him it was great service.

I give this dealer an amazing rating because everything went smooth and worked out great. I love my Chevy Equinox and I highly recommend it. My salesman, Karl was fantastic. He was very patient and always had an answer for every question. You don't find too many salesman like him around. Serpentini Chevrolet in Tallmadge has got to be, the best car dealershipin Ohio by far. Their sales representative Nick Apicella has got to be their best car salesman by far. If you need a car go to their the dealership and ask for Nick you will very pleased If Nick and his team are unable to help, then there is nothing that can be done. I have no idea what all of the other salespersons at Serpentini Tallmadge are like, but working with Ed Monter on my purchase of a new 2010 Malibu was one of the best car buying experiences that I've had. I just got the car yesterday, so the fact that I'm taking time out of my Sunday morning on a busy weekend to write this review should speak for itself. Ed was very knowledgable and really took the time to answer all my questions in great detail- be it by email, phone or in person. It was refreshing to work with a car salesman who never once pressured me on anything. There were no uncomfortable sales tactics to close the deal, no cheesy sales lines - just friendliness and the desire to help me and my wife get a great deal on the car we wanted. Even after the sale was closed and paperwork had been signed, Ed took the time to go over all the features of my new Malibu and helped me to setup my Onstar and Bluetooth features. I had a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer with 2 months left on my lease and was also able to turn that car in to their dealership without any hassle and as part of the pull ahead program. Thanks to Ed and the other folks at Serpentini in Tallmade for making this car buying experience a very pleasant one - I will surely be back the next time I'm in the market for a new car. -Garett

I was in need of another vehicle and had vehicle with a lot of negative equity, and had not so good credit. I went to another dealership, that advertises to get you financed no matter what condition your credit was in, and couldnt do any thing for me. They said that I had too much negative equity in my vehicle and had to put down more money. I had bought two other vehicles from Serpentinis Chevrolet, Tallmadge store, in the past, so I went on line and inquired about a vehicle. I filled out my name and phone number. The next day a salesman, named Ed Monter, called me ask me to come in and see what he could do for me. I agreed to go in and boy am I am glade I did! When I got there Ed made me feel at home. He never pressured me, but took down all my credit information and how much money I wanted to put down, and what I had to trade in. He to told me that I had too much negative equity and not enough money down to get into the used vehicle I was looking at. He explained to me that there wasnt enough mark up on used vehicles to cover the negative equity in my vehicle. He told me that he could do it with a new 2009 Impala, because of the factory rebates. He was as good as his word and the interest rate that John Williams got me was just great! So when you see Bob Serpentini say on TV that he will pay off you vehicle no matter how much you owe, he means it! and his sales people are the best people I have ever dealt with.
