I purchased a 2007 Ford Explorer from Sheehy Ford of Springfield two months ago. I was told that it had a 1000 mile 30 day warranty, "anything is wrong, just bring it in and we'll take care of it." I went in four days after my purchase with a list of five things. One of them was that the rear shocks are done and need to be replaced. I came back to pick up my vehicle and four of the five had not been fixed. I was told that they would be "my responsibility" and that it had "passed state inspection" which I was not told was the deal. Audible alerts go off, two of them, every hour the car is driven and have to be silenced, idiot lights flash, tire pressure sensor, and tire monitor sensor and washer fluid sensors all inoperable but "my responsibility." None of them went off when I drove the vehicle initially. The vehicle vibrates at various speeds, I am very displeased, and communicated that with the Service Manager. "We can't help you, you will have to pay to have all those things repaired." I will never shop at Sheehy Ford again. I will never say anything good about my experience with them. I will have to pay an additional $1000+ to get the car repaired while I spend the next four years paying it off. I would steer clear of this dealership if I were you. Shame on them. I have no idea how they stay in business when their business ethos is to put their customers' satisfaction way below their profits.

Please take the time to read this! I write this in praise of Laquisha Turner from whom I bought an F250 truck at Sheehy Ford, Springield, VA on July 4, 2016. I had been looking at, comparing prices and working with various dealers online to get an acceptable deal for the vehicle with the options I wanted. I had done another online search and was contacted by Laquisha. We were on our way to look at a truck at another dealer. Laquisha was able to beat the other dealer's price and put a hold on the truck with the exact options I wanted at another dealership. The other dealership would not agree to match the Sheehy price. We did the deal with Laquisha at Sheehy. She then arranged to have the truck trailered to Sheehy where the truck was detailed for delivery. Laquisha and a colleague then personally delivered the truck to our home in Maryland. Laquisha exhibits all of the qualities I would want in my employees. She is head and shoulders above anyone I worked with during my search: competent, confident, fast, delivered on her promises. There aren't enough superlatives to adequately describe Laquisha. (I am not a family member or friend in case you may have thought so!) The management team at Sheehy supported Laquisha's efforts to make the deal happen. I have and will continue to recommend Laquisha to friends and family. I would definitely do business with Laquisha again.

Couple years ago, I purchased '14 Accord from Sheehy Honda Alexandria. Sales rep at the time was Robert Sauter. Him and his team provided excellent, pleasant service that my friend (who test drove the Accord with me) decided to upgrade his Camry a week later.Then about a month ago, I decided to move forward to a white pony (though I really love my Accord - and this is not a mid-life crisis thing). Because of Sheehy's great services, I decided to stay within Sheehy family, got in touch with Robert and he sent us over to Sheehy Ford Springfield.Our sales rep was Laquisha Turner and my experience with her, she's vibrant, straightforward, and she will "work" for you.I got VIP club thing, got EasyCare Total Care package, worth the money! Got a call two days later for in and out ResistAll service (I have a dog and this sh*t works great on my traded Accord). After sales service were courteous, greeting you the first step you entered the door, unlike many places when you enter the service department and they were looking at you like "WTH are you doing here?".

Completely blown away by the fact that there are people who can speak car talk like Maxxx and be professional as well. I contacted Sheehy Ford a few days ago after 3 weeks of searching for a new Ford Focus SE Sedan. I spoke with Maxxx over the phone and I informed him of the other offers I had from other dealerships in the area (one of them I thought was the best I could get and I was about to go buy that vehicle the next day). After talking with Maxxx for 5 minutes on the pgone, he promised he would "beat that overall price before my trade-in." I of course was skeptical, but 24 hours later I purchased the Ford Focus SE Sedan from Sheehy I wanted for the exact price Maxxx had quoted me (no extra fees or anything). I will say Maxxx might come off as somewhat disingenuous and a typical car salesman,, but I guarantee you will like him as you get to know him. My best advice is know what car you want before you go in there and Maxxx will get you in that car for as little money as possible. Also, the biggest surpise of all was the "Sheehy Easy Price" online was actually the price I paid. I was amazed. So, if you are in the Springfield area, go to Sheehy Ford and see Maxxx. He will get you the best deal around!

I know that there are a lot of negative reviews out there when it comes to car dealerships, but I did want to take the time to talk about my recent experience at Sheehy Ford Springfield VA. I had initially gone to the dealership on a whim to see what options, if any, I had in replacing my tired 2004 Kia Optima with something a bit newer and a bit less tired. Realistically, I knew that I would probably end up with another used vehicle and potentially inherit costly repairs and service issues down the road. Enter Mary Miller, Sales Consultant extraordinaire! Mary was so welcoming and friendly and immediately made me feel at ease. There was absolutely no sense of any pressure or the hard sell from her she was very knowledgeable about the Ford products and passionate about the advantages they would offer me. She listened to my needs and wants and promised to find me the right car, at the right price and she did exactly that! Through her efforts, I am now leasing a 2016 C-Max Hybrid and couldnt be happier a new vehicle that is definitely the right fit for me and my lifestyle! Even after driving off the lot, Mary has continued with her excellent customer service and followed up with me a couple of times to make sure that all is well with my vehicle and that there are no issues. Her commitment to service and attention to quality continues even though the deal is done and I am very pleased with the sales experience at Sheehy Ford. Excellent service. Incredibly helpful, answered all of my questions regarding the vehicle and comparisons with other makes and brands. Even described features I didn't even know were in the car and then explained the financing difference between what I am paying and what I will be paying. Laquisha Turner was extremely professional. Nothing I asked was beyond her capability, including mailing some accessories to my out of state residence, when they weren't available when my car was delivered. The sales staff was equally helpful. When the advertised car was unavailable due to a recall, they found an even better car for essentially the same price. The facilities were under renovation during my purchase, so I didn't experience the new building.

I had a great experience buying my focus st from sheehy ford. Max was very nice and patient with me as I insisted on seeing every trim package of the focus st. They didn't end up having the car I wanted in stock so they had it shipped in the next day from God knows where. I loved it and the whole buying process was very easy and everyone was super friendly. Great buying experience. Met salesman Dennis Cronin, who was very knowledgeable, and went for a test drive of a Fusion SE. No pressure and he did a nice job selling the car. Met sales manager Harry and he talked about his personal Fusion Energi, the great incentives, the nicer equipment like leather and power seats. He talked about the benefits of a PHEV, Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle, and how you can run battery only for about 20 miles without engaging the gas engine.I'm coming off a Sonata hybrid lease and was not impressed with the mileage over a non-hybrid. Honestly I was planning to lower my payment and go with a no frills model to commute to work, amd no more hybrids.But I liked what I heard from Dennis and Harry and I did some more research on the Fusion Energi. (I sold cars to put myself through college a long time ago and since then I've become a very thorough and cautious buyer.) My commute to work at Tysons Corner is 18 miles one way and we have charging stations in the parking garage. I realized that I could commute back and forth to work on just the battery power alone, saving gas and polluting less while in traffic for 2 hours each day!I went back in a couple of days layer to see Dennis and drive a Fusion Energi. Then Dennis and Manager Steve really treated me well and made me a fantastic deal. With the incentives on PHEV and the generous discount my payment went down from what I paid on my last car. But it gets better, the lease on my old car still had a month to go and I had a return fee to pay to give the car back. (Note Ford doesn't charge that fee at the end of their leases). Dennis and Steve worked it so the last payment and return fee on my old car were covered as part of the deal. About the only drawback was the small size of the trunk. When I mentioned that it just needed to be big enough to fit my golf clubs Steve got a big smile on his face and told me about his days as a professional golfer. To cap off a great deal Steve has offered to play a round of golf with me and give me some on the course pointers! Who goes to buy a car and ends up with a free lesson from a PGA pro? Again thanks to salesman Dennis Cronin, managers Steve Smith, Harry and the finance manager for making it easy to buy and a pleasure to do business with Sheehy Ford in Springfield.Thank You,Michael Randle

We recently purchased a car at Sheehey Ford in Springfield, VA after shopping around at a few other local dealerships. The salesperson was pretty helpful (will write a review for him soon), but I am astounded by the $600 processing fee that's basically straight profit for the sales manager and dealership. Many, if not all, dealerships are doing this now, which is a sadly becoming the norm in Virginia. (More on this below).TRADE-IN OFFERUnfortunately, my wife and I both work full-time and we have one family car, so I don't have time to sell it myself for retail value. So, I fully expected to lose $3-4k trading it into a dealer, who will offer "Black Book" action value (typically from Manheim). However, the sales manager totally lowballed my trade-in, probably because he knew they were losing money since I was paying cash and not financing. Thankfully, another place offered me several thousand dollars more for my car, so I sold it to them instead. (-2 stars for lowball offer)After agreeing to buy the car from Sheehey Ford, next came two additional front- and back-office salespeople who spent about 15 minutes trying to sell me on extra 3rd party warranties and such to which I repeatedly declined. This is pretty standard for nearly all dealerships, so nothing wrong with the practice, but it's somewhat annoying and wastes my time, so -1 star. Facts about Processing FeesIn the state of Virginia, a processing fee is NOT required by law and is 100% set by each dealership, not the manufacturer. Surrounding states like Maryland actually impose limits to these fees, while VA dealers are free to set them at their discretion. #PROTIP: Drive 20-ish minutes to Maryland where fees are capped and buy the same car there and automatically save at least $200-$400, or go to Carmax in Potomic Mills ($300 processing fee) or Carmax in Dulles ($200 processing fee). (-1 star for $600 processing fee)

I bought a used Subaru BRZ about two weeks ago from Sheehy Ford. I worked with Max Mammadov. He was honest and did not promise anything he couldn't do. The price was fair and any fees, taxes, etc. were said clearly before the agreement was made. The car was missing a key and Max said he would get it from the previous owner or get a new one from Subaru a week later I got a call to come pick up the second key. Im 36 and Ive been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, which has begun to take my mobility. I have been unable to work for much of the past year and Ive had to move to Baltimore to cut my rent by two thirds to get by. Making my car payment used to be no problem, but with my health expenses rising and my income dwindling, I desperately needed to cut my monthly expenses, STAT. I remembered how great the finance guy at Sheehy had been during my first purchase in 2013, so, I went in person to Sheehys dealership in Springfield to lay it all out there and ask if there was anything they could do to help me lower my monthly car payment given my new health situation and declining disability. Sheehys sales person Mary Miller, along with the rest of the team at Sheehy, literally spent the next ten hours that day plotting and planning with me, running every option they could on their lot, and any other of Sheehys lots across the area, to see if they could help out New cars with incentives, Certified Pre-Owned Cars, Used Cars, Leases on new cars Thats a LOT of math. After all that math, a couple of test drives, and one firm handshake, Mary found the right car for me that not only lowered my monthly payment, but kicked me back $1,300 in cash incentives, AND it is a C-Max Hybrid, so it will save me on gas. (Im now getting over 40 miles to the gallon, and I have a lead foot!) I love my new car. And I love Mary and the people at Sheehy for what they did for me. Its hard to find real kindness these days, but to find it in a car dealers showroom in spades Well, its just not business as usual for most places these days, but it is at Sheehy. Mary Miller especially went out of her way to help me. After a long day of working with me on this, Mary went out and put the the new tags on my new car that night, literally in a brewing snow storm, and helped me move my stuff from my old car. She's a superstar. I'm lucky to have her in my corner. Thank you, Mary. You're the best. I would send my best friend, my mom, and my own kid if I had one, straight to Mary Miller at Sheehy Ford to buy a car, to service a car, or for any of the other services Sheehy offers. Sending your family members to Sheehy is like keeping it in the family, because thats how they treat you at Sheehy Ford of Springfield. Like family.

La'Quisha Turner worked extensively with me via e-mail before I ever made it to the showroom. When we got to the showroom, the vehicle we had been dealing with had been sold... but NO WORRIES, La"Quisha had the information on several other vehicles by the time we arrived that fit the options we were looking for. She met us and let us look at several vehicles until we found the RIGHT fit. Once the purchase was done, she took the time to explain ALL the options. She had to teach this "old dog" lots of new tricks with all the options that were on my 2016 ESCAPE, but she took her time and made sure I felt comfortable before I left. Even after the purchase, I've contacted for information and she quickly responds. She is the BEST sales person I have ever worked with.We scheduled to have our windows tinted by the dealership and that process was very smooth and done just as promised.

I went to Sheehy very skeptic and anxious because my budget was very limited. It didn't take Laquisha Turner long to gain every drop of my trust and confidence. I felt she was on my side, making sure I am getting a good deal, giving me more than I had hoped for, and most of all, within my limited budget. She introduced me to the best car I have had so far, a FORD Focus. I love my car and cannot imagine my life without it, and cannot understand why I didn't take this step a long time ago. The service department staff is great! I came in for recall notices and services. After arriving at the service department and finding out I was given misinformation by the call center, I expressed my grievance to the lady at the counter. She was 100% professional and let me speak to the supervisor. The supervisor was 100% professional as well, and gave me confidence that the service department staff cares about its customers. Although I wasn't pleased with the call center, my first impression couldn't have been better. Clean facility and a staff that dresses and behaves very professionally.

On November 12, 2015, my wife purchased a 2014 Ford Flex, a Certified Used Car from Sheehy Ford of Springfield, VA. As it came close for the temporary tags to expire, my wife started calling the dealership inquiring about the permanent tags & title, and to express her concerns about the condition of the windshield, to see if it should be replaced because it had a sandblast appearance when in direct sunlight.Her inquires were never directly addressed. She was referred to the business office for the tags & title and was told that, the paperwork was not on my desk, so she could not do anything. This same inquiry was answered the same way two or three times. Not once did the women at this office offer to provide any help or say that she would look for the paperwork. Other phone calls were made to the Business Manager who did not answer her messages. My wife did finally get in touch with the salesman who had no answers, but did send out a second set of temporary tags.As time passed we did not hear from the dealership or the salesman (Robert Jacobs) with any answers to this problem. Finally my wife asked me to intervene with this situation. I started by talking to Mr. Jacobs, the salesman on 11-12-2015. He did not have any answers and had to be refreshed about the problem. Mr. Jacobs said he would look into it and call me back. He called and repeated to me the same answers he had told my wife which were, the paperwork was missing or that it was never sent over from Sheehy of Marlow Heights where the MD inspection was done, he did not know if the windshield was covered under warranty and that he would look in to it and call me back. On December 26, 2015 I called Mr. Jacobs, as I had not received a return call again. This phone call quickly became heated because there were still no answers to be had. I informed Mr. Jacobs that I was leaving town on the 28th of December and would not be back until the end of January. I needed a better answer. Mr. Jacobs insinuated that the paperwork was being held up because my insurance was no good or that the financing was a problem. I informed him that I knew for a fact that my insurance was covering the vehicle and that the vehicle was paid for in cash. I then told Mr. Jacobs that I wanted to know who his boss was and he said what did I need that for. I told him that I thought he was incompetent and wanted his bosss name. He continued to refuse me the name and eventually asked someone else what his bosses name was. At this point Jacobs became very ignorant and defiant, refusing to answer any more questions. He even told me if I wanted other names of authority, I would have to call and talk to the switchboard. I said I did not want the switchboard and he hung up on me.I called Sheehy of Springfield and asked for the General Manager and was forwarded to a Mr. Dave Parin. Mr. Parin, of course, did not know of this situation. I brought him up to date. He asked for additional information and resolved that the windshield was not covered in the warranty and that he would look into the tag problem first thing Monday morning and that he would express deliver the tags to my out of town destination. Mr. Parin also said he would contact me on 11-28-15 to inform me of the status.As for Mr. Jacobs, I wish no man any harm and definitely not to lose their job, but he needs to learn how to deal with the public with some degree of integrity. His handling of this sale and follow up are what give salesmen a bad name. He just wants to make a sale and forget you once you drive off the lot. Yea, he made a sale, but his lack of professionalism has led me to never want to do business with Sheehy again as well as telling and retelling this story to everyone I know and to never do business at Sheehy in the future. Of course Mr. Jacobs could care less because he made a sale.

I had been searching the internet for either a Ford F-350 or a GMC Sierra 3500HD. I spotted a Ford dealership in Marlow Heights that had the perfect F-350 at the right price. But when I went there, they wouldn't honor the internet price. In fact they were $7,000 above the price. I went out of my home state to save thousands at Sheehy Ford of Springfield, VA. I always do a lot of research on the vehicle I plan to purchase. Once I have found out all I need to know about the car I want, I start searching the inventories of local dealerships first and contacting them if they have what I am looking for. Once I get a price from a dealer I start comparing to others. Over the past 13 years I have ended up in a Sheehy dealership in Virginia 5 times to purchase my new vehicles. I have NOT been able to beat a Sheehy deal in my home state to this day. This particular vehicle was purchased from Sheehy Ford of Springfield and I looked at 5 different dealers locally and 2 different ones in Virginia but none could compete with the deal I got here.

I had Mary Miller as my lovely sales lady! It was my first time ever buying a car so I was already very nervous but very excited. I had done very lengthy research about 2013 Ford Edges that were in Sheehy's stock so I knew what I was getting myself into. After running a couple sets of numbers for me and answering all my questions (aka, going the extra mile) I had found the car I originally went in for was out of my price range. However, that turned out not to be a problem at all because they were able to bring up my dream car from a sister store for me! I am SO in love with it! Mary had great customer service and made my first "big-girl" purchase so much fun to do! Even with some paperwork mixups, the staff made sure we were taken care of and I was happy. My boyfriend and I were very pleased with our experience and I would highly recommend working with Mary!

To their credit, I'm a picky customer, as the car will need to last me 10 years and I want what I want. They did try hard to get me the car I wanted. However, they did not communicate well when transfers from other dealers were falling through. It got to the point where it was simply time to move on to the next dealer, who had the car in stock. It wasn't a completed waste of time, because the negotiations with Sheehy allowed me to determine what would constitute a good deal with the next dealer. The one takeaway is that they need to do a better job of tempering customer's expectations on transfers. I thought we had a deal done 2 or 3 times, only to see it fall through.

We searched for months for a Honda CRV or Toyota RAV4 for our 17-year-old daughter. 2003-04 model, maybe 100-125,000 miles, which is midlife for those vehicles. It would have been easy if we had had a $12,000 budget, even for a later model, but tough with an $8-9K mark. Sheehy had just taken in a 2004 CRV on trade when my wife and I were on the "other side of the river" and listed it for $7,999. It hadn't even gone through detailing yet. Beau Proctor, used car manager, introduced us to salesman Dennis Cronin, we drove the car, liked it and knew we had better get it under contract with a deposit that night.The air conditioning didn't blow cold, so we asked Dennis to have it checked before we picked it up. We heard from him a day or two later that the system was plugged and had to be repaired. Several days to get the parts and replace them, and Dennis stayed in touch every day to let us know the status. Trouble is that something went wrong with the install and the part had to be replaced again. More updates from Dennis and we arranged to pick up the car on a Friday night. The air was cold and the car in great shape, with new brakes (observed by a Honda dealer the next day after an inspection), and new battery.Dennis said that Sheehy spends on average of $1,200 on a trade-in before putting it up for sale. They sure hit that mark on this one, but did so without hesitation so that our car would be in great shape. Criswell Honda, which did the multi-point inspection the next day, didn't even try to sell us any repairs, which speaks well of both Sheehy's prep of the vehicle and Criswell's service department's integrity. It passed the MD inspection the following Tuesday, by the way.This was a great experience start to finish. Go see Dennis at Sheehy in Springfield next time you're in the market!

I recently purchased a town and county and had a trade in. My sales rep.was Dennis and he made everything very simple and also went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. We had can in previously to view the van that we had seen on usaa.com. Dennis provide us with many options within our likings and assisted in completing my trade in process. Although we were not able to complete the deal on the first day due to a very pushy approach for a sales manager (roger), and the birth of our child. Dennis keep open communication with me to insure he would be willing to assist when ready. When I contacted Dennis he had everything ready to sign on the dotted line to speed up the process. The next day the brakes system begin to act up still with my money back guarantee and I contacted sheehy for assistance and Roger was of no assistance with getting my vehicle checkout for repairs so much so that I had to threaten to return the vehicle. Dennis and Beau was of great assistance Beau took the van and noticed the issue I was calling about and took the vehicle be serviced and also provided me with a loaner until the repairs were completed. Again I'd not for my negative experience with a member of management I would rate my time with sheehy 5stars.

My husband and I have an F-150, a Ford Windstar, and now I am the happy owner of a 2015 Ford Focus. I was a little bummed when I showed up on Mother's Day to purchase my new car only to discover that the dealership was closed. BUT...my disappointment was short lived since I was happily greeted by George McIntosh who took the time to hear what I was looking for in a car, work with my limited budget, and ensure that I stayed in my budget -- looking at both new and used vehicles. When I settled on my red Ford Focus, George was willing to meet me at my place of work to let me test drive the car the following day to make sure that I was completely satisfied before making my purchase. I was also pleased with financing dept. who matched a financing quote that I had in an email so that I would be able to complete my car purchase and drive my car home that night. I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership -- the staff is friendly and cooperative! I also recommend that you seek out George McIntosh if you are looking to purchase a new vehicle -- he will go above and beyond to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your new car!

So apparently you get excellent service when this dealer is taking your money, but when you request a cancelation of a warranty and GAP, they will never contact you back. I have purchased two cars from this dealer; the first was traded in for the second and there were no issues canceling these coverages when it benefitted them. Now, I have over $2000 owed to me and no one will call be back, not the finance director, not the customer service manager, not the GM, and not the person in accounting. I have tried everything to ask these folks about this cancelation that I put in 2 months ago, and was told by their employee (Terence Abraham - no longer with them) in email that I would have a refund no later than the end of March. It is sad that I have to resort to leaving negative feedback when I had had such great experiences in the past.

We are visiting here from home in South Carolina. Earlier in the day we received a jump start due to a weak battery. We have a 2012 Fusion. We arrived at the dealership at 11am and were met by Tina Adams, who quickly determined through a hand held device that our battery needed to be replaced. We agreed and asked if the 5000 miles check could be concurrently performed. Ms Adams arranged for the complete service requirements and provided us with a shuttle to the adjacent mall to shop while we waited. During our brief time at the mall we were called 2 times with an update on the service progress and once on a recommendation to have the wheels balanced and aligned, (this has made a noticeable, positive difference in the car's handling). The first was a certified pre owned 2012 Focus titanium sedan, the price was fair and the salesman Joe, sales manager Misha, and finance manager Ben all were knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. On my second trip I worked with salesman Richard, Joe and Misha again. Misha found the Escape I wanted in the price range I wanted to pay with no long negotiations that are typical at many dealerships with all of the running back and forth haggling over pennies. I had the pleasure of working with Finance manager Lauren for the Escape with the same positive results. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend Sheehy of Springfield to anyone. With both vehicles, I am very satisfied the Focus is consistently averaging 32.5 MPG commuting and over 37 MPG on highway trips while being comfortable and the handling has exceeded my expectations (this thing acts like its on rails)! The Escape is 4 wheel drive with the 2.0 EcoBoost engine, around town I get 23+ MPG and on a recent 390 mile trip it averaged 29.1 MPG! Also with the EcoBoost 2.0 if you need to go you can all while being comfortable and confident. I can also recommend both vehicles highly.

The service counter person was not only unprofessional and rude but Insulting and sarcastic as well. I've dealt with dozens of dealerships all around the country and have never had a negative experience prior to this. There are too many other quality dealerships around. I refuse to deal with a "service" manager who laughs at a customer when they have the audacity to question a charge. I worked with Joe, Misha and Lauren. This was my first time every buying a car and I have also only been in this country for 3 years. Car buying is stressful and confusing. I came to Sheehy Ford twice. The first time was to test drive and get pricing. I thought another store had a better price but Sheehy doesnt add back in college and military like the other dealership. So not only was their price better they were upfront about their pricing from the beginning. At no point were they pushy and explained everything in great detail so I understood. They also went out of their way to bring me in a car from another store immediately so by the time I was done with finance my new car had arrived. I am very thankful to them for taking as much time as they did so I understood how everything worked. I love my new car and am so happy with the whole experience.

Neville Bradshaw was my sales representative. I wasn't sure what to think when I pulled up to the dealership and he walked up to me. My previous experience hasn't been so strange, every time I parked at a lot, a salesman will jump at me like a predator. Neville composed himself much better. He was very patient with me and acquiesced to all of my request. Even offered me something to drink out of his own pocket and made me feel more comfortable than I had felt with previous salesman two weeks prior. His transparency is rare in this field and contributes the comfort he provides for the buyer. I will definitely recommend him and the whole dealership to family and friends. Purchase of a Ford Focus We went to the dealer looking for an inexpensive car since my son's old BMW had broken down and to repair it was too expensive. We were walking in the lot looking for different options and Oscar Brown came to help. Our first thought was oh no! he is going to start pushing and pestering us. Boy was I wrong. I don't usually post on these things, but today was such a roller coaster that I had to let others in Northern VA know that not all Ford Dealers are alike!When my Ford Escape Hybrid died this weekend, I had it towed it to the nearest Ford dealer...Ted Britt Ford in Fairfax, VA. I usually go to Sheehy in Springfield, but I figured they were all pretty similar. But I was SO WRONG!When they opened on Monday, a rep from Ted Britt called to tell me they ran a diagnostic test and repairs were gonna be $1,780 total. Only when I asked for a break down did I discover that the cost for the parts was about $680, but the labor was gonna cost me $1,100 ! I asked why so high and I was told it was a complicated fix. In ADDITION to the mechanical work, they also recommended I replace the arm for the suspension control.... and that was gonna be ANOTHER $690 ! I was looking at almost $2,500 total. So, I decided to have my car towed to my USUAL place... the Sheehy Ford in Springfield and within a couple of hours, Ralph from Sheehy had given me an estimate with a very specific breakdown of parts and labor for all things I needed. NOW... I am only paying $500 for all the mechanical repairs (that is parts AND labor total) and an additional $380 to replace the suspension arm. I will NEVER go to Ted Britt Ford again. Sheehy in Springfield has made a loyal customer of me.

We ended up getting the financing through the dealership; we were able to qualify for more. Our sales contact, Chris; got the car from a different dealership brought to us; and it was a pleasant expierence to not feel hassled or pressured. Sheehy Ford is definitely a hassle free dealership! I came in looking at new 2013 Ford F-150s that were left in their inventory at the beginning of March and I am very happy I stopped in when I did. I have bought many vehicles throughout my life but my purchase experience at this dealership has been the best one I have ever had. The day I waked in, I only had the intent to meet with a sales person to discuss/research truck options/prices and leave. The sales consultant I worked with, Christopher Barr, was low pressure, he didnt give the typical pressuring sales pitches I have heard through past years at dealers. Christopher gave me a pricing breakdown on several trucks I expressed interest in and was open to answer any question I had. After having gotten enough information from him I expressed how I would like to think it over at home and get back with him, he encouraged me to do so and I walked out the door. While discussing trucks with another customer in the parking lot as I was leaving, Theresa Straight (sales manager), while on a break, overheard our discussion and started chatting with the both of us. She had just sold the gentleman who I was talking to, a government employee like me, a vehicle (he was a repeat customer at Sheehy). He was expressing how pleased he was with the deal she made him. During our discussion, I said I would like to know what my trade-in would be on the vehicle I had driven in with, and Theresa offered to give me one. Shortly after she and Thomas Reber (my sales manager) assessed the value of my vehicle and gave me a very good offer! I could go on and on about this experience, but long story short, the deal they made me on the truck I wound up buying, along with my trade-in, was one I could not refuse. Special thanks goes out to the Sheehy staff (Christopher Barr, Tina, Theresa Straight, Thomas Reber, Sabrina Morgan, and Ron), especially after having dealt with all my tedious demands. These folks truly added to my positive experience at Sheehy, all were down to earth, and fun to talk to. I would recommend anyone buy from Sheehy Ford and I will most likely be back when Im ready to trade in the truck I just bought! My only hope is that Christopher, Thomas and Theresa are still there then!

I purchased a used Nissan from Sheehy Ford of Springfield, VA and Bouquet Washington was my salesperson. Mr. Washington was very helpful and friendly. I had spoken with him on the phone about this specific vehicle and he had it waiting for me when I arrived. He didn't try to upsell me on a new vehicle or use any tactics that most salesmen use to get more money from someone. The truck, a nearly 10 year old model, was in great shape and was very impressive. I let Mr. Washington know I need to be out of there within 3 hours of my arrival and he and his finance guy made that happen. They gave me a fair price on my trade, though some negotiation was required to get it to the blue book value. My only complaint was having to see the person before the finance person. All dealers have this individual, they try to sell you corrosion preventative and other types of snake oil. But had I known that was who I was waiting for, I could of skipped him/her and been out of there sooner. Overall a good experience.

I started my process by calling in and asking to speak directly with a sales manager. Many dealerships put me right to a voicemail. I was surprised when I was answered not only by a sales manager, but by John, the general sales manager. He answered all of my questions and then invited me in to test drive the car. When I got to the dealership he introduced himself to me and then introduced me to a salesperson. He then shocked me again when he actually took me outside and started to show me a fusion energi himself. I was expecting to be passed off like at every other store. The customer service here was by far the best. I knew I wanted to buy here but I still needed to work the numbers a little. John made that process simple and we ended up buying the car about 15 minutes later. I had done a lot of research on the pricing and John was not only willing to negotiate, but his explanation of numbers and costs were spot on with my research. I knew at that point that I had an honest dealership and I felt comfortable buying from them. My advice: call and ask for John Polifko.

I have somewhat mixed feelings about Sheehy. At a general level, I was satisfied with my recent transaction. Sheehy appeared to actually want our business (strangely, some other local dealers didn't seem very engaged when we visited them); managed to find a car close to the configuration we wanted; and as part of the deal, included the installation of the one major item we wanted that was lacking on the car they had on the lot. But the initial offer for our trade-in was either an outright mistake or an extreme lowball (they said it was a mistake due to a misread of the VIN - which could be true, but still...). Additionally, we were both told and saw on signs around the showroom that on the post-sale dealer satisfaction survey, anything less than "excellent" was considered a failing grade - and apparently the salesman is penalized for anything less than a perfect score, even if a question relates to the finance department or something else outside his control. That's not exactly a way to get honest feedback. Bottom line: Sheehy is a dealer worth considering - but carefully scrutinize any numbers that are put in front of you, and be aware that their internal satisfaction data is not impartial.

I spent over 3 hours at Sheehy on two separate occasions (3 months apart) when I was trying to get information and pricing on a new vehicle. During the second time they basically played games with me to keep me waiting as long as possible (ie; not being able to find information about the car I had evaluated for a trade in - insurance card that was on top of glove box when I opened it). The first quote they provided me was basically the sticker price even though I stated originally a price I wanted to shoot for. They refused to work with me over the phone or email for the most part and insisted I come down to the dealer to talk about continuing price options and never gave me any information over the phone, etc.Two weeks later (last day of the month) they called me back trying to get my sale finally because they were way under their quota for the month on sales apparently and then spent the day back and forth (over the phone finally) trying to get me the deal I was looking for the first time around. Not only did I only have one day to this, during work it was Halloween as well, and since I had kids that was not convenient at all to think I would have to spend god knows how many hours at the dealership (again) to lock the right price down.Their service department constantly is trying to milk money out of any service that I have done there. Every time I go in for a basic oil change they come back with hundreds of dollars of work to be done on a vehicle that was less then 4 years old. As well as taking multiple hours on service as simple as an oil change, or not notifying me that my car was ready to be picked up until over an hour after it was parked outside (I found this out after I complained about waiting around still).Overall I think the customer service here was pitiful, and I gladly took my business for a new Ford elsewhere, as well as will seek service elsewhere as well.

Jerry and Arthur made our buying experience seamless. We knew what we wanted and they allowed us to finalize the sales without any pressure. Other Ford dealerships in the area do not compare to the service we were given by them. We would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a Ford. They were respectful and informative at the same time. Never were they pushy nor did we feel pressure that we had to complete the deal right there. Other dealerships called constantly to let us know what a great deal they could give us and that there was no other dealership that could accommodate our requests. We found that not to be the case and turned us off to their type of sales pressures. I realize they need to make sales quotas but at the same time high pressure tactics do not work with the educated buyers now days. Jerry and Arthur as well as the Finance Mgr. were all a set above anyone else. We can say that because we looked at several Ford, Chevy and Dodge dealerships and they definitely were more professional!! They are an asset to Ford.

I am a long time Ford truck owner. I have purchased 9 new Fords in my life, seven of which have been from Sheehy. This latest truck buying experience was exactly what I expect. The staff is not only courteous but they treat you like family. From the time I first contacted them about a new F-150 they were focused on making me happy with both the vehicle I selected and the service they provided.This purchase started with a simple search to find out more about a specific F-150. I did a lot of research on the 2013s to see what the options were and one of the sites I visited offered to evaluate my trade. I normally don't give info online but did for this and within a few hours I received an email from Tom Reber. A few hours later I got an email from the sales manager, Arthur Lauw. My previous sales person was Cindy Brown, the sales person that sold me my last two vehicles. When I stopped by the store they immediately called Cindy who remembered me like I just bought a vehicle from her last week. Arthur was working next door when I bought my wife's edge but he still remembered us because we spent so much time at the Nissan dealership looking at their models. As we caught up there was no pressure at all to get in a vehicle but I was excited to check out the new truck. We headed out for a test drive and before we left the lot I knew I was going to buy the truck, the question is what was it going to cost me. When we got back I left, not making any comments about buying the truck. I did mention I might be back the next day. The next day I did go back and drove the truck again but again I left the dealership; this time with a price. I needed time to think about it. I got no pressure at all from Arthur, Cindy or Tom even though this was the end of the month and they needed to sell the truck. When I finally came back to buy the truck they were genuinely glad that I was happy with the decision and I do not believe their only motivation was selling a truck. They really do care about their customers.I read a lot of the negative reviews on Edmunds and I am wondering how much effort did they put into the process? Did they show up and expect to get a car for free and walk out mad because they didn't get that? There will always be someone that isn't happy about the car deal they get. Lets face it: buying a car sucks. Any dealership can sell you a vehicle. Any dealership can service your vehicle. The difference for me is the people and the attitude they have towards customer service. When I am ready to buy again I will be headed back to Sheehy. For me there really isn't any other choice. If you are in the market for a Ford, Nissan or Subaru, stop by Sheehy and ask for Arthur or Cindy. Tell them Jim with the Raptor sent you and that I said they should take care of you. I am a long time Ford truck owner. I have purchased 9 new Fords in my life, seven of which have been from Sheehy. This latest truck buying experience was exactly what I expect. The staff is not only courteous but they treat you like family. From the time I first contacted them about a new F-150 they were focused on making me happy with both the vehicle I selected and the service they provided. This purchase started with a simple search to find out more about a specific F-150. I did a lot of research on the 2013s to see what the options were and one of the sites I visited offered to evaluate my trade. I normally don't give info online but did for this and within a few hours I received an email from Tom Reber. A few hours later I got an email from the sales manager, Arthur Lauw. My previous sales person was Cindy Brown, the sales person that sold me my last two vehicles. When I stopped by the store they immediately called Cindy who remembered me like I just bought a vehicle from her last week. Arthur was working next door when I bought my wife's edge but he still remembered us because we spent so much time at the Nissan dealership looking at their models. As we caught up there was no pressure at all to get in a vehicle but I was excited to check out the new truck. We headed out for a test drive and before we left the lot I knew I was going to buy the truck, the question is what was it going to cost me. When we got back I left, not making any comments about buying the truck. I did mention I might be back the next day. The next day I did go back and drove the truck again but again I left the dealership; this time with a price. I needed time to think about it. I got no pressure at all from Arthur, Cindy or Tom even though this was the end of the month and they needed to sell the truck. When I finally came back to buy the truck they were genuinely glad that I was happy with the decision and I do not believe their only motivation was selling a truck. They really do care about their customers. I read a lot of the negative reviews here and I am wondering how much effort did they put into the process? Did they show up and expect to get a car for free and walk out mad because they didn't get that? There will always be someone that isn't happy about the car deal they get. Lets face it: buying a car sucks. Any dealership can sell you a vehicle. Any dealership can service your vehicle. The difference for me is the people and the attitude they have towards customer service. When I am ready to buy again I will be headed back to Sheehy. For me there really isn't any other choice. If you are in the market for a Ford, Nissan or Subaru, stop by Sheehy and ask for Arthur or Cindy. Tell them Jim with the Raptor sent you and that I said they should take care of you. They will, but not because you tell them I sent you. They will because that's what they do. Good people are good people no matter what.

I would recommend this dealership because when i was there they had very good service and the staff was friendly. Their quality of work showed that they are a great place to buy from with their fast results and good pricing. Overall was a good experiance for the first time buying a car.The only thing that I did not like while I was there is my boyfriend was given a price of 17000 that the car would be under. In the discussions before buying the vehicle it was an issue to get what he was originally told. We came to terms and had a "Gentlemans" agreement between Aurthor and Eric (My Boyfriend) that it would be 17000 with Tags Title and Taxes. When we went to get financed we were told that it was more then what was agreed to. We had been there for almost 2 and a half hours at that time and did not want to argue the point anymore. With being a military family it is crutial to keep your word. I would recommend this group with hessitation only because how we feel that we did not get the deal that was promised.Our Sales person was helpful and assisted us when we needed him to. He went out with me after I purchased the car and helped me understand all the features. He took the time to assure that i was satisfied with my vehicle.

Best Ford Dealer in Northern Virginia, Hands Down! I had an excellent experience and will purchase from Sheehy in the future. I went to Sheehy after having a bad experience at another dealer. I had actually stopped by Sheehy prior to going to the other dealer and Holt was extremely friendly and helpful. He answered a ton of questions, and gave a bunch more information. I should have known not to go elsewhere after that. Anyway, we went back to Sheehy, and Holt was busy. So, he forwarded us to Anthony to do the deal. Anthony was helpful, and got us processed quickly. I had negative equity that I was transferring in, and Ben was not positive he could get the deal done. A few days later, Beau finished the deal, redid the numbers and made the deal work. This is an excellent team! Thank you Sheehy!

I've been searching for over a month for a new Fusion and to get it at a resonable price where the dealer makes money and I don't get robbed. The salesperson that waited on us was very straigt forward and we didn't have to hassel around about what was expected to put us in a new car. I traded in a 2012 Focus and the trade-in value I wanted for the car I got (based on KBB). I went to other dealers in the area and the people I was dealing with didn't want to deviate from the trade in amount or the price of the new car. With this all said and done I am the type of person that tells it like it is. If Sheehy was bad I would tell you. The thing that I liked about Sheehy is they greated you with a smile and everyone on the sales floor was a positive influence. Tom was the salesman I was working with, but all of his co-workers was there for him greeting us and making sure we were at home. For anyone that has bad car buying days I know you wouldn't have one at Sheehy Ford of Springfield. I now know I am part of an extended family. Thank you Sheehy Ford.

When others said no, Sheehy said Yes.I stop off at Jerry and Koons who showed me that they was not interested in my business. One dealership did not return my call and another lied to me.Sheehy was honest the entire process. The sales man worked different solutions with me and found cars within a local radius. I went to Sheehy and told them what I wanted and they did not try to convince me to anything less or more. Starting with price, Sheehy match price to the best of their ability and gave me the most for my trade-in which help with reducing my loan.The banks was difficulty, but Sheehy made sure I walked away with the car I wanted with special bonuses that only a buyer would know if you choose Sheehy.Happy customer with a 2013 Mustang!

I bought a new Ford Focus and I was extremely happy with the sales people, really attentive and understood what I was looking for, their manager was extremely nice and gave some nice 'freebies'. The problem started with service, number one, they don't work Saturdays, which is really odd since everyone works and saturday has to be the day where everyone can leave their cars to be worked on. I know several dealers that work even sundays! They called me because I bought a remote started at the time I bought the car. They called me that the part was ready, I dropped off my car and after 2 days I got the call that the car was going to be ready at the end the following day, I get there and they tell me that the part they ordered didn't work!! hmm.. why they didn't call me before!! I go for second time and they made me wait until 7pm to just tell me that they couldn't finish the car... thank god I went to the sales department and they gave me a loaner! Really good service there! I decided to return their VIP membership because leaving early from work was a pain to do. Wasn't worth it for me.

Bought my new truck in July after I brought a friend in to "just look" at new trucks and he walked away with one that day. So I put together what I wanted in a new Truck and sat down with Victor once again and that afternoon Theresa found one and had it shipped in. Once I seen the truck and decided I like it, we sat down and they come up with a price that I couldnt refuse. Even with the few little issues with a bad pump and wrong vin number, everyone there did everything they could to make it right and ensure I was happy with my decision. Everytime I go into the store its like meeting up with friends i'v known for a long time. Great Job Sheehy Team!

Be Aware that this dealer will not honor their posted prices. When confronted with this they will tell you that a confirmed price was "Auto-Responded" Not sure if they are doing this to get people to the lots or just catch peoples eye. After reviewing alot off their adds, they seem to have an exceptional amount of Typo's. To me if you find something dishonest in a dealer then anything they do is suspect.

I did not purchase my 2011 Explorer from this dealer however I brought it in for Sync update and was treated like a valued customer. I pointed out a few concerns I had regarding the A pillar and the front bumper valance. All repairs were taken care of quickly and efficiently. All of the staff that I interacted with were polite, professional, attentive and focused on customer service. I want to make this clear. The sales person that worked with me was fine and polite. I had a problem with the way the dealership runs business, and with the finance person. I was a serious buyer and was there all afternoon from 1pm until 6pm. After 2 hours, I decided on a vehicle and I was under the impression they would 'do some numbers for me'. I decided to take a walk around the dealership to think about things, with the understanding that they would be 'working out the numbers' for me. I came back in 1 hour. Nothing was done. So then I waited for 3 more hours...and signing paperwork in the meantime, without ever talking about numbers. Their reasoning was 'We want everything ready to go so that when we give you the final number, you can just leave after that'. I said many times 'Ok but I want to go over the numbers before it gets to be too much later'. I kept waiting, mostly by myself. Finally after 3 hours, the finance guy talked with me, only to find out that he could not even give me any finance number at all because he claimed the banks were closed on Sunday (to payoff my car? I don't think so). There was the vehicle I wanted, parked outside, and I was willing to have a fair deal, yet they did not want to sell me the car. I walked away feeling like I completely wasted my time. They should have said 'just to let you know, there are 2 people ahead of you talking with the finance guy, so it will be 2 hours'. But they didn't. Then, if that all wasn't enough, the finance guy had an attitude with me several times, even though I tried very hard to be patient (for nothing). When I asked him yet again what kind of financing I would be looking at, he would get sarcastic "well I could give you 25% interest...but that wouldn't be fair". So why even say it like that at all? When I explained that I wanted to work out the numbers before getting too much further, he snapped "Well do you want the car-yes or no?" and I said "yes" and he said "Well like I said I want to get the paperwork done so that we can just give you a number and you can be on your way". I would not buy a car from Sheehy in Springfield. Bad customer service.

I handled most of my transaction over the phone with La'Quisha for a used VW. She was professional, attentive, available for multiple questions and always reachable via phone. We had a slight problem with the car the first day and Arthur the GM was not only helpful, he really wanted to solve the problem in the most time and cost effective way possible. He also was very quick to respond via telephone and wanted to ensure we were happy with our car. I highly recommend this dealership and will most certainly look to them next year when I buy a new car!!!

When I stopped by to make an appointment. They came out and checked the problem. When I dropped off the truck they had a switch just in case it was needed. In stead of taking all day it was fixed in under an hour. No need to come back for an install after diagnosing the problem. Great service and professionalism.

My experiences as well as my family and each of the customers I have steered to Sheehy have always been excellent. Sheehy Sales Manager's and each of the salespeople I have dealt with have been honest and very helpful. Their knowledge and expertise rise above all others I have dealt with including one where I was an employee.Service is the very best one could hope for whether it is normal maintenance item or an immediate need to correct or explain any warning indicators or malfunction of the vehicle. There have been few of these issues due to the high level of preventive maintenance and the use of their VIP program.

I purchased a pre-owned SUV from Sheehy Ford in December. Victor Wandei and Karl were very professional, and helped me find a vehicle that fit my needs (size, style, and budget). Victor helped me take a no-pressure test drive, and was able to get answers to all of my questions. They were very fair on the price, to the point that my lender remarked that it beat the Blue Book Value. I was very pleased with the no-pressure buying experience, and their ability to help me find something that fit my needs (instead of the other way around). I had not been able to reach a deal with two other Virginia dealerships. I started off with nearly $10K in negative equity as a trade-in. The individuals listed above were determined to make me a satisfied customer and offered me more than the car was worth. The also gave me some huge discounts that made it difficult for me to understand how the dealership could make any profit at all. They were all very professional, courteous, and friendly. Arthur went to great length, searching in the tri-state region to find the exact truck I wanted. After a little negotiating I was offered a deal that I could not walk away from.

To the family at Sheehy of Springfield, I wanted to thank you for the work you did to put me in a truck that I am truly happy with. Spending lots of time online and several Ford dealers in North Carolina & Virginia I can tell you I finished the year at Sheehy. I had a specific truck in mine and figured I would try one last dealer on the last day of the sales year to see about my trade and what I could afford. Well, Arthur, Karl, and Juan went the extra mile and how! It was a bitterly cold night and other dealers would have given up after closing time but Arthur and Karl stayed with me working through the models and numbers until almost midnight. I could see it in there eyes, it was a long day but they persevered and got me a beautiful F150 Lariat 4x4! I was impressed with the after hours effort and the style of customer service building the relationship. I came back with extra demands and Arthur did not say 'no', he said 'yes' we can work this out. I appreciated his display of character after all the negotiating and number crunching when we finally agreed on the deal, we did it with a firm handshake. Walking out to the lot to start up the truck was great!! I had huge smiles, chuckles and a few Yeahs!!! Got home in style and power and can't wait for the beach. I called and set up a time to test drive the 2012 Expedition. When we got there Victor was ready and waiting. He selected the vehicle that best fit our needs. There were more options on the vehicle than what I imaged. He was patient and answered all of our questions. He was an absolute pleasure! We purchased the Expedition the next day. I purchased my Nissan using the Internet, and Brittany Frastak did a superb job. She called me within minutes of me submitting my sales inquiry online. As we worked through the details of what I wanted, she found my vehicle as we talked. Once I decided to purchase the vehicle, Brittany initiated the transfer paperwork (the vehicle was at another dealer), and she prepared everything for the sale. I mean everything. There were several items that I needed for my insurance company, and she had them already completed when I told her I needed them. I dropped by to check out a new car. I met with a salesperson and a manager. They said they would email me information abut what I wanted. I did not receive anything nor even a phone call. I emailed them saying I would like information - no response. Then a week later I get a call (after I was arranging a purchase elsewhere), saying come on in and see what we have. They did not have what I want anyway and they were too persistant and I had to just hang up the phone.

I was extremely pleased with my experience at Sheehy Ford from beginning to end. I contacted several dealers by email to request quotes for a new car; I had a particular model, color, and trim in mind, so was planning on doing a factory order. Of the dealers I contacted, Sheehy was by far the most responsive, providing a detailed "out the door" quote without fuss, not obscuring the price by offering rebates that were contingent on financing, and generally being above-board and honest throughout. I went back and forth on a few options before deciding what I really wanted, and Andy patiently revised my estimate each time. When I visited the dealership to take a test drive and order the car, Andy and his manager, Sina, were extremely friendly and a pleasure to work with. They even accomodated my request that my deposit be fully refundable--something several other dealers gave me a hard time about.Compared to some of local competition, especially those dealers who essentially refused to give me a firm quote before I visited the dealership or who otherwise played games, working with Sheehy Ford was an absolute pleasure. I highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new car.

i went to Sheehy dealer after several failed attempts at other dealers including Honda, VW, and CarMax. I had a trade-in with a negative equity, and the conditions they were putting down to get a car were ridiculous including $4000 dollar down payment with a very high monthly payment. My brother has a friend who recommended Sheehy Springfield as he had just bought a car from there, so we decided to try one more time. When I came to Sheehy, the sales associate Bill Lopez was very helpful from the beginning and showed us the inventory they had that fit what i was looking for, price-wise. After test-driving the car and looking at the great price, I decided to buy it. The sale was painless, it took several hours for them to the process the paperwork especially because it was Sunday, but it was worth the wait. Karl Prucker was the Finance Manager, and he was very friendly as well. Overall, the staff worked with my budget and situation in a very friendly and professional way. They answered all of our questions and I couldn't be happier with my new car. My brother who has been tempted to get a car, and who went with me on the day of the purchase, has said he's going to go back to Sheehy Springfield to get his next car without a doubt. Overall i'm very satisfied with this dealership, its prices and it's staff are great.

My sales person, Chrissy, had recently completed training. She was being assisted, as needed, by another sales person, Andy. Chrissy was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. She was able to answer the majority of my questions on her own. Andy filled in additional information, when it was appropriate. As a former teacher, I could see that Chrissy had successfully completed her training. It was a pleasure to work with Chrissy and Andy. I am glad I was Chrissy first finalized sale.I felt Sheehy was trying hard to gain my business. I negotiated a very good deal. Sina, the sales manager, provided the final tweaking to satisfy my requirements to purchase the vehicle I selected. The only blip involved the final paperwork. After verbally agreeing to a price, the numbers on the paperwork were off from what had been agreed to. This appeared to be the result of a miscommunication between Ben, finance, and Sina, the sales manager. They corrected this issue and everything was as originally agreed. This, though, made me lower some of my above scoring to good. I felt both Sina and Ben were professional and worked quickly to resolve the issue. Overall, I was very pleased with Sheehy's staff, inventory, and the experience. I feel I got the vehicle I wanted at a very satisfactory price. As from past car buying experiences, the process takes a lot of time. This is an area that continues to need refinement.

All Sales and Financial personnel were great. I knew two of the individuals from a past new car purchase at Sheehy, Springfield. The whole procurement action was relaxed. All employees were courteous, professional and friendly. The negotiation portion was serious, yet without tension. Numbers went back and forth and I finalized the deal with Dean at the podium and was genuinely happy with the price, even though I spent more than I wanted to. I will say that my trust and friendship with Sina and respect for Dean made me feel I was getting a fair deal for a GREAT car. Then, finding out that Drew is the Financial Manager was the icing on the cake. I was actually comfortable going through the Financing process, due to my wife's and my genuine respect for Drew. Like two or so years ago, he was the consummate professional who didn't play games. I had been pre-approved with USAA and Drew beat their rate by .3%, which was great. I've bought a bunch of vehicles in 46 years and will gladly admit the last two purchases (08 Edge and this car) have been the most fun and relaxed car purchases in quite some time. At the end of the day - I go back to the Gaithersburg stores claim of "we want you to buy this car here". But, Springfield REALLY wanted and earned my business by treating me fairly, not dragging out the buying process (from initial discussion with Juan to the final handshake with Dean took an hour or so MAX). I was in Finance with Drew within 10-15 minutes later (for a very short period of time - most spent just talking). Then, I just had to wait for the car to come from Gaithersburg. Too bad I don't need(?) another car soon - because I had fun.

I had a long term, unique issue with my truck, that involved the seat track and they were very patient with me. The finished result is excellent! Within minutes I had my quotes and La'Quisha Turner had called me to find out if I needed more information. I decided to test drive two of the cars, which La'Quisha arranged for me to do. She is an enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable sales person who isn't at all pushy but at the same time is very helpful. I bought a car that day. La'Quisha was terrific, but so was Karl (don't have his name handy) in finance. Both are just very nice people, which made it a pleasure to buy from Sheehy. Based on my experience I recommend Sheehy highly. They have really good prices on the Internet, and you get the bonus of working with La'Quisha, who is in charge of Internet sales.

I bought two vehicles from this dealer, Sheehy Ford, and got the best salesman when I bought my 2009 F150 so I contacted the same salesman when I bought my 2010 Mustang and got the same great service during the sales process-I had contacted EVERY SINGLE FORD DEALER IN THE AREA and only Sheehy responded satisfactorily to my email inquiries. The other dealers just couldn't be bothered with ordering a basic work truck for me with only one option. I bought their VIP service plans with each vehicle and have received similar great service whenever I bring my vehicles in for service. They are courteous, competent, and seem genuinely concerned with providing good customer service each and every time I come in for service. Servicing has been done promptly and if they find something unknown or unexpected, they come to the waiting room and inform me of it-things like a serpentine belt that was replaced under warranty (I had no idea it needed replacing!), air filter replacement, (not warranty, but it needed to be done), and they helped me out with replacing a broken jack handle. The service dept ordered it and had it waiting for me at my next service-I had forgotten, but they did not. Just great service overall in my opinion! Sometimes the wait seems a little long, but never TOO LONG and the waiting room, with the TV, magazines, coffee machine, is pleasant enough and they always are able to fit me in when I drop by and tell them that I have to wait while my truck or car is serviced.I recommend them strongly.Sincerely,John Blizard

Great price, willing to negotiate, and lowest price in the area by several thousand dollars. Although I initially had some difficulty with the service department, they have been responsive and greatly improved their delivery of services. The service department seemed to be more organized and the representative had good customer service skills. The department was able to deliver the described services without any issues or problems. I am happy with the improvements, responsiveness of the team, and look forward to improved level of service in the future.

Sheehy Springfield is ok, my experience is mixed. GoodPrice - I bought the used car for a couple thousand less than comparable cars at other nearby dealerships, Sales Service - The salesperson (Cindy) was helpful before and after sale and not pushy. Quality-The car has performed well, I've had it for almost 3 monthsBad-Had to wait over 3 hours to talk to the payment clerk, then the paperwork was wrong. They had the wrong price written, they included a lien when there was none.-If you are out of state, do the title work yourself. Sheehy will charge you more than 100 dollars extra for doing the title work. They made me sign a blank power of attorney form. The title clerk of Sheehy and the titling agency they used both dropped the ball, I was on the phone constantly trying to get my tags before my temps ran out, they ended up sending me new temp tags, and barely got the plates to me before they also ran out.-The car was more than a quart of oil below the low mark.

This was the first service visit for my newly purchased Ford Escape and it went well. I have had no trouble with the new vehicle and the visit was for an oil change and routine check. Great service experience: I show up W/O appointment and they are happy to do my VIP Club service work. Very helpful and friendly and a nice waiting room. The best part? Not having to pay because I bought the VIP Club membership for my 2009 F150 and my 2010 Mustang. Sorry I didn't remeber my service guys names, but they are the same team I see each time I get one of my Fords serviced and they are always great. I bought my two latest vehicles because of all the Ford dealers i contacted (6 total) Sheehy Ford was THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS WILLING TO HELP ME ORDER MY TRUCK WITH THE 4.6 3V + 6SP in the XL model. Other dealers told me it couldn't be ordered, Sheehy did it for me. Had such a good sales experience, I sought out the same salesperson (Mauro) the next year when I bought my Mustang. I was prepared for each purchase, but you can do a lot worse than to go to these guys when looking for a new Ford.

He is always very willing to help and he lets me know what service my car needs and when it needs it. It is so very helpful when you can trust your car with someone who treats it like they would their very own car. I was in the market for a new car, but was unsure about what type of car that I wanted. When I arrived at Sheehy Ford and met up with Bernie, I was quite up front that I was just looking at different makes and wanted to try out the Ford Escape. I ended coming back to Sheehy to ask about information from non Ford dealer stating that ALL Hybrids cycle down on the air conditioning if the engine was not running and he assured me that it was definitely not the case with the Escapes. On test driving the Hybrid Escape, the fact that the air conditioning did not cycle off while sitting at a traffic light was extremely reassuring. However, I was just not sure in my mind about what kind of vehicle did I want: large, small, SUV, Sedan, Gas, Hybrid. Because I so unsure about those factors in my own mind, I just couldn't commit to buying a car. When I outlined this problem to Bernie deGastyne and his manager, Marchello Grimaldi, they didn't try to give me a hard sell to purchase another vehicle, or try to show me all the other models that was on the lot or that Ford had to offer.I found the staff at Sheehy very pleasant to work with and they were very good about helping me try to find what I was looking for in a vehicle. If I eventually settle on purchasing a Ford, I would definitely go back there.

Im thinking the third time is a charm! Yesterday was the third routine servicing of my 2009 F150, and everything was excellent. Service was prompt and complete, and the vehicle was washed without my asking (as is supposed to happen for VIP customers). I like it when service technicians take the time to explain what is wrong with your car and then provide you with options as to how to proceed from there. Not just surprise you with a 1500 dollar repair job and tell you that you have to fix it all that instant or your car will explode. There are no gimmicks with Sheehy and they give sound recommendations and quality service. I have a 1998 mustang gt that I have take there almost as long as I have had the car. I bought it new and it now has approximately 224000 miles on it and still runs and looks like new. I am certain that it is the attention to detail and quality of the received service that has helped my vehicle reach this milestone and beyond. Like many I was suspect of dealership service centers for awhile. After hearing stories of over charging and poor service who wouldn't be. If reading my remarks does nothing else then let it at least assure you that the Sheehy service center is not one of those places. All I would say is try it out and you won't be disappointed. I have never hesitated to take my car there and you won't either. thanks guys

It was necessary for us to replace a car that was totaled. I attempted to complete the search prior to scheduled surgery, and La'Quisha did all she could to supply me with the information I needed. However, I was unable to make the purchase prior to the surgery. Pete is the best in Service. He will take care of you and the repair work that the folks at Sheehy Ford is top notch. I have never had a problem with the work done at Sheehy Ford. They have always taken care of you and they do go out of their way to help. Highly recommend.

Id like to take a moment to tell you that I have purchased many vehicles over the years (only one outside the Ford family) and I have never had the professional experience your staff gave my wife and I. About 2 months ago, we purchased a 2010 Ford Fusion from your dealership, and our experience was so good, we could hardly wait to get the survey from Ford. We never got that, and asked for it several times, so we were quite excited to get a chance to thank them to someone who mattered. About two weeks ago, I started looking at the Mustang, as its my turn to treat me now.LOL, but we came back to Marcello and Victor. They were very professional and I have sent two other families to see you about purchases, and one has already purchased. These guys, and Teresa really made us feel like family, not just another customer, and you just dont find that in the DC area any more.

The service I received on 21 May 10 at Springfield Sheehy Ford was another pleasant experience. I took my car in for the 75,000 mile check and a recall. The high quality of service I have received over the past 10 years is the main reason I continue to have my car serviced there. An added bonus on this visit was that my car was washed -- this was a first, and very much appreciated -- my thanks to Ty. I would give very high marks to this dealership, and will continue doing business with them in the future.

I was very happy with my visit on Tues, 1 Jun 10 where I received a free oil change & tire rotation through my VIP service. I also had my 60K mile check-up and a full detail. I had to drop off my vehicle for the whole day and they gave me a complimentary loaner so I wasn't without a ride. Pete, the service rep, was very professional & gave me an update during the day to let me know the status of my vehicle which was nice and they were able to get everything done in 1 day.On a side note: I was very happy with this visit and there was no wait time since I dropped off the vehicle for the whole day so that's why this particular visit was rated very high. However, in the past when I did wait for the oil change & car wash , the wait time was an average of 2.5 hours. I think this is something they seriously need to work on so beware if you decide to wait on your vehicle.

These guys are always fantastic! They go out of their way to make sure you are happy with their service and that you understand everything that is going on with your vehicle. When you walk-in someone is always there to assist you, unlike at some other places where they let you stand around feeling unimportant. I would highly recommend this service dept. for all car repairs.

I had an excellent experience with Laquisha (sales person) at the dealership. She was honest and kind throughout. Unfortunately, the sales managers told me one thing on the phone and then something different when I arrived. They told me I could put money down and hold the car so they can fix a part on it before I buy it. Then when I got there, they told me I had to purchase before fixing it, because the part could take a long time to come and and they couldn't keep the car on the lot. This is no different than any other dealership I've experienced. The sales person, Laquisha, though, did call me to let me know the part was taking longer than expected. She also called me again to make sure I was satisfied with the vehicle. They did write me an IOU when I purshase and they did replace the part. One thing I was very impressed with was the detailing that was done on the car when I came in for the purchase. It was 2 1/2 years old and ever nook and cranny looked brand new. The only other thing I was dissapointed in was when they couldn't get the license plate on, they said the service shop would have to replace the anchor that the screw screws into. Instead, they finagled it on. So, when I got home and had to change the plates, I had to remove the interior backing behine the plate to hold the anchor while unscrewing the plate. I don't know if dealerships realize that if you're open and honest with customers, they will a) pay extra if needed and b) come back another day.

Your service team is wonderful. I have an issue with my new 2010 Fusion where the passenger door frame's paint is being rubbed off. They took pics and contacted Ford for a solution. Ford is not going to do anything at this time so your guys had it painted for me. We discussed actions we would take if it happened again. You're lucky to have such a great team.

In the past 3 months our household has purchased four vehicles from Sheehy Ford in Springfield, VA. It is their exceptional customer service that has kept us as customers. They set the standard by which all other car dealerships should be judged. Sina Mohabat, General Sales Manager and Marcello Grimaldi, Senior Sales Manager are great to work with.....They don't play the "sales game" that happens at most dealerships. If you're looking for a new vehicle, Sheehy Ford is where you need to go. Ford has added a lot of extra features to their American made cars that in our opinion, put them above the rest!!!

Let me explain also that I had initially a very good communication with Eve and outstanding promises made which brought me to the dealership yesterday. Unfortunately when I got there Eve apparently went home sick. Nevertheless I explained to Marcello all the communication I had with Eve and he said that he would have Mauro work with me. Mauro was an outstanding Sales member but along with Marcello informed me that promises made from Eve were not realistic. In the end after I received a brand new Ford Escape for my husband, and a great education of the cars evaluated as well. Guarantee you also I did present some challenges for them for pricing and they worked the numbers to work within my budget as I had planned and in addition I bonded with Theresa Strait the Customer Relations Manager who also assisted me in every way to make sure that I received the highest accommodations and her ability to explain to me also the various additional packages that I added to the car to protect it and to have the least amount of issues for my husband to deal with. I have been doing business with Sheehy of Springfield for several years. I am a repeat buyer myself and have referred several friends that made purchases as well. I have had extensive conversations with the staff involved with my transactions as well as several other employees that recognize me. They are always friendly and helpful. They exhibit a sense of pride and ownership in their business that goes far beyond just doing the minimum to make a sale. They create a relationship with customers that doesn't leave you feeling like you are on your own after you drive off the lot. Sheehy's service has also treated me well on the occasions I have needed them. I visited Sheehy Ford of Springfield as result of recommendation from a friend of mine who had purchased an F-150 from them and was very pleased both with the pricing they had received and also the level of customer service they received. I figured living in alexandria I would give them a shot. I was promptly greeted by Mr. Juan Tejera who was professional and courteous yet not pushy waiting for us to get out of the vehicle and walk into the showroom, unlike some other dealership personnel who basically ran up to our cars and basically opened our car doors for us(little too pushy). He helped us pick out a brand new Ford Escape, and they had a great selection, and was very knowledgeable about the vehicles. We then test drove the vehicle and went inside to find the negotiation process was very simple and up front. The best price was immediately made available to us and without having to fight for it. Their price which took all of a few minutes to get beat other dealers prices by more than one thousand dollars and it took hours to get the price from the other 2 dealers I visited. Mr. Washington their sales mgr also introduced himself and made himself available to us, and let us know he was there to assist Juan in any help we needed. We really appreciated that. Our financing was done by Ms. Vanessa Figueroa and she beat our credit union's interest rate by almost one whole percent so we were very pleased and the paperwork took less than 20 minutes to complete and they even gave me my hard tags the same day I bought the car. At the end of the purchase Juan went over the vehicle completely again making sure we were familiar with the vehicle and that we had no final questions. Mr. Sina Mohabat their General Sales Mgr, (I believe that was his title) also introduced himself and congratulated us on our purchase and also let us know if we ever needed help with anything that he would be there for us as well. We really felt welcomed and appreciated at their dealership and would definitely reccommend our friends and family to purchase their. Terrible experience. Classic bait and switch. Kept me there for 3 hours. walked out with no car, frustrated, tired and hungry. I am disgusted with the way finance tried to "resolve" my credit problems. Don't waste your time. Drive the extra mile to a different dealership.

While the salesman, Mauro, was a good salesman and did his job well selling me the car the rest of the experience was horrendous! Vanessa Figueroa, the Business Manager quoted us a final price and APR. We signed our contract and walked away fairly happy with our deal. Within days, however, Ms. Figueroa was calling to change our contract and our APR. My monthly payments increased and I was trapped, when I asked for options she gave me none. Our tags and title did not arrive within 30 days and all we could was the run around from person to person. After the tags and title arrived we found our address to be incorrect on our documents and even though we have left repeated messages with Ms. Figueroa, Mr. Mohabet, and Mr. McCarthy we have not received a phone call back, shocking!The back of all their business cards says Sincere & Hospitable Employees Enthusiastically Helping You (SHEEHY). Dont' believe it, once they get that car out the door all sincerity and hospitality go with it.
