We recently purchased a preowned vehicle there. The experience couldn't have been better. Bruce was not your typical car salesman (a good thing), he was very helpful and went above and beyond to make this a smooth transaction on an excellent vehicle.

I STATED THAT I WANTED MY CAR BY 3 PM, THEY DIDN'T EVEN START TO WORK ON IT UNTILL 3 PM, SAID THEY WERE BUSY, BUT I HAD AN APPOINTMENT. 2 ND TIME WAS SLOW BY 1 1/2 HRS. TODAY THEY CALLED TO SEE HOW HAPPY I WAS, WHEN THE WIFE SAID I WAS NOT HAPPY AT ALL, THEY HUNG UP QUICK, NO COURTESY, JUST SLAM. I HAVE NOT WORKED THE SALES DEPT. JUST THE SERVICE DEPT. NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL, WHEN YOU MAKE AN APPT, YOU EXPECT SERVICE, NOT EXCUSES.

Visited Shottenkirk Ford for regular maintenance service. Although did not have a Ford, they took excellent care of me and my vehicle, from walking in the door and being greeted like I was at the Ritz down to the very friendly top notch "car lady" Meredith, the service manager. Janis was very helpful in making sure I didn't need anything during my visit.

Everything went quite well EXCEPT for the use of your phone system as a PA system. I know things wont change over night, but hearing that system for my entire service experience only reinforced what I've told sales mgr.Jason. To label it's effect on the dealership's image is difficult. All I know is that it ruins the image you're trying to project. It also reinforces the talk I've had with sales mgr. When I got there, Mr. Tim was with another customer outside. I went inside and waited for 20 or so minutes. I went to refreshment area so I could sit down. Mr. Tim and customer came inside and talked again for a long time. I still have not been acknowledged. My appointment was 11:45 and granted, I was less then 15 minutes late. They went into the back room for awhile. When Mr. Tim came out, I went into service part and he asked if he could help me. It is after one o'clock now. I told him I had an appointment for an oil change at 11:45 and he said, so they are working on it? I said no I have not been waited on yet. So he did have me fill out form and he took car right in.

When I purchased the vehicle from this dealership I was stunned and amazed at the personal touch given to this buy. At my last visit I found that the attitude and service apparently is not a one time thing but a continuing offer of a genuine care and desire to be of service. The staff i have been in contact with thus far has been exceptional. I live 50 miles away from the dealership but the drive to Jasper is worth it. Thank you Shottenkirk for being a cut above.

First introduced to Joe who promised a call back about a price on the 2014 F-150 STX within 45 minutes. Two days later, after not hearing from Joe, I called and could not contact him so asked for another sales person. Was introduced to Jan Brown who promptly answered my call and set up a meeting with my wife and me. We purchased the truck that night (cash) but the next day I left messages for Jan about a problem with the truck and the fact that we did not receive the Car Fax with our paperwork, but my message was never returned.Jan is wonderful (Excellent) and it's possible that my message was never delivered to her. Despite being thrilled to own the truck, the experience so far leaves us wondering about our decision to purchase from Shottenkirk.

Mickey McGough did a great job of representing the dealership as well as trying to meet every desire I had in the E150 I was looking for. His laid back manner goes well with his professionalism. From where I sit he's a real asset to Shottenkirk Ford. For as late as it was in the production year, Mickey did an outstanding job of trying to meet my every request.The one suggestion I might make is to find another place for your sales reps to sit / stage while they wait for their next customer. The current location / practice has them looking like wolves awaiting the next sheep. Perhaps they should be in the 1 - 2 small offices close to the same area?Dave Jersey

I purchased a used 21005 For 150 Lariat . Jan was the sales person who worked with us and she was great. The people who were in the financial area were very effective and when there was a mistake made by the bank who did the financing the finance manager called and gave us the information. We had to come back in and sign new papers but the above board approach by the team left us with a very favorable respect for Shottenkirk's honesty and integrity. I greatly admire the values this dealer has placed on working with the public.

I have used the Ford dealership in Jasper, GA several times in the past and was always provided with excellent customer service and they went above and beyond to meet our needs, since it was recently purchased by Shottenkirk, this is my first time back in the dealership. I have had a terrible experience with them this time. My car has been in the service department for three weeks to date and I have not received any communication, we have been promised calls to update us on the status and we have had to call them back every single time, only to be told something different every time. We have not been provided with up to date information, the price has consistently changed from one phone call to the next, even though this is covered by warranty. We are very disappointed with the customer service and work ethic of the service department at Shottenkirk Ford

Everything was just great with my experience in all areas until I realized (too late to cancel my trade) that Shottenkirk had some kind of relationship with Vernie Jones Ford. I bought a new 2002 Explorer from Vernie Jones and was told, and the model insignia and paperwork they gave me said, it was a certain model and I later found out it was the next model down. It was obviously a ploy to look more competitive but not a good way to cultivate customer loyalty. Sorry, but I'll never buy another vehicle from any dealership associated in any way with Vernie Jones Ford.Randall CobbRydal, Ga.

Great experience. Everyone was straight forward with their information and comments. The dealer even filled up the gas tank before I left the building. The price of the vehicle was fair and actually they beat the Other Ford competition and GMC product line. We were so impressed we also later purchased we purchased a new 2015 Expedition. Having been a past GMC owner for my life I believe buying two new Fords says something very positive about the Ford product line and Shottenkirk customer service, honesty, and pricing. By the way, their service was so great I was able to pick up my Georgia tags the following day. Shottenkirk's support staff entered the title information on line immediately so I could travel out of state and go on vacation. Thanks Shottenkirk

I traded my F-350 Harley Davidson 4 x 4 with this dealer and I was notified by my bank that no payment was made. The folks working for this dealership dropped a huge ball. Makes it worse that I'm trying to refinance my mortgage and this will hurt my credit
