Do yourself a favor and come here first! Locally owned and operated by Chris and Barbara Shumaker, they treat you like family and won't sell you a car they wouldn't drive for themselves. They are in Clayton, but it is an easy drive from Raleigh and will likely be the best car purchasing experience you have had, ever!

My experience with Shumaker motors was nothing but positive. There was no pressure, they provided answers to any questions that I had, and they were considerate and respectful of my time. Chris and Barbara were a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend them to anyone. A+

Anthony and his family are the easiest people to deal with. After I purchased a 2006 Highlander for my Son. I was in the market for full size truck. I told Anthony exactly what I was looking for and within two weeks he had it on his lot ready to go. They even helped me with financing and I received a very low interest rate with BB&T. Couldn't be happier with my purchases.

I purchased a vehicle from Schumaker Autos 4 weeks ago. I gave them $1000 check for the initial purchase and another $1000 check to hold until I had the funds to cash. They told me "We will wait for your call to cash it" but guess what? We got up today and our business account was NEGATIVE - $300. I checked and they cashed the check anyway without me calling and telling them to do so. I had actually emailed the sales person "Anthony" and told him the funds would be ready next week but he cashed it anyway. They also had some very shady business practices with the entire loan process (more on that below).Watch yourself if you purchase from this company, when someone tells you one thing and does another in this type of business that is very bad. We are owners of a new Triangle Review website and we will have a detailed review, pictures and more posted on this company when we open......... stay tuned.
