Took car in on Saturday, was pleased with the service and the turn around time getting the battery installed.Price was comparable to the dealer (within $20) was hoping to save more money.But overall, very friendly and got the job done within an hour.

I have been a customer of Silver Star for 17 years, and I have purchased 4 cars from them (1994 Mercedes E320, 1991 Volvo V70, 2007 Mercedes R350, 2011 Mercedes E350). Ray, George, and Kevin have always gone out of their way to make owning a Mercedes a wonderful experience. They are very knowledgeable, honest, dedicated, and always polite and accommodating. Owning ANY car can be frustrating at times, particularly when facing breakdowns, repairs, or bills. However, Silver Star makes owning a Mercedes possible, even for regular people who are not made of money. Their dedication to their customers goes WAY BEYOND just buying and selling. MANY times over our 17 year association, they have gone the extra mile to help us, even when they were not directly profiting from the experience. I will not buy a car from anyone else, nor go anywhere else for service.

Rick T. I've purchased two Mercedes from this dealership and have been extremely satisfied with both the sales experience and servicing of both cars here (going back to 2001). Silver Star provides exceptional personal attention to their customers, and has saved me a LOT of money over dealership servicing and repair...I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else.

2005 model with 44k SL500 Mercedes is advertised but not available. Drove over 40 miles to the lot and they said in shop for radio repair. Called a week later; still gone. Another week, another call, no car. Just sayin....... Found another car and have deposit in place.

Ray and George are very attentive to customer's service timeliness and quality. The service work is excellent and completed within the time estimated. Customer is notified in advance if a delivery estimate must be adjusted due to parts delivery delay or additional critical work beyond the initial estimate. Ray or George keeps the customer apprised of current service progress and alerts the customer to future service work that may be necessary.

The benz dealership said I needed a trans for $7100, and Silver Star was honest enough to say that I just needed a flush and valve cleaning for $900!! They have always been honest, and that's why I'll never go anywhere else.

Ray, George, and Kevin are all great to work with. Friendly and customer service oriented. They made buying a high-end quality car an easy task. Ray worked with me patiently for weeks before finding the exact car I was looking for. I've also used Silver Star for servicing for many years now. I certainly highly recommend (and have on many occasions) Ray and Silver Star. Don't waste your money and time at other dealerships just call Ray first. MarkR

Ray's Silver Star Motorcars provides high-quality service and repairs. He personally looks after each client and ensures that the client is satisfied with the service provided. He ensures that the client is aware of the progress on the vehicle, any delays awaiting parts that may occur, any surprises found during the service or repairs and promptly notifies the client of the change in status. Altogether I am very satisfied with the attention and quality of service that Silver Star Motorcars provides.

They were very friendly, was able to get my car in without any waiting and had it completed on the same day. The service that was done was considerably less then had I taken the car back to the dealer.

We have purchase 5 high end vehicles from Kevin. He knows quality well kept maintain cars. Their prices are always 10 to 15% less. My cars includes Mecedes 500s Mercedes 450s infiniti fx Mercedes 280 Mercedes 550cls and a ford explorer

We got our car back and there was greese all over it. Also, our back seat was not latched down. The clips were missing that were supposed to lock it into place. They did not even bring this up to us. Our overall experience felt dishonest. Please beware.

What a great experience. Usually buying and trading in a car is a monumental task for the customer. From the first phone call to the time I drove off in my low milage 2001 XJ8 Jag, I was treated with respect and all of the employees wanted to make me happy. It always helps to have a CarFax to look at as well and they give that for all cars for free. Yes Customer Service, Quality of Work, Friendliness, Whole Experience and the Price being right was all great but what they did beyond all of this is why I am writing this review. Once you buy a used car without a warranty, you are taking a car as is and there is no obligation on the dealer to fix anything after that point. I drove home with the Jag and it had a water leaking problem. I called them and they said bring it back in and we will find the problem. They gave me a rental car for free for several days and finally found and fixed the problem for free without any obligation. Not only did they fix the problem they had the means and the service department to fix the problem. These people are wonderful and they deserve anyone's business. Mitch in Rockwall, TX.

I recently purchased a Mercedes from this dealership. I was worried by the comments on this site, but risked it anyway... and I am surely glad I did. They allowed me to drive the car to my mechanic. When I asked my mechanic how the engine looked, his response was "excellent." The rear bumper had been replaced a couple of years ago, and Kevin was totally upfront about that (before he even pulled up the Carfax report). They were even somewhat open to negotiate (which is rare these days with all the internet retailers out there. I have to admit though -- the amount they came down wasn't quite as much as I was hoping [but who can complain -- I still got a pretty good deal]). Additionally, they offered me one free oil change, 30 day warranty on the car, 6 months of free roadside assistance, and they detailed my car before I went back to pick it up at the end of the day! Though the gas tank certainly could have used a fill up, I can't blame the dealership for trying to cut costs (considering gas prices these days). I definitely plan on using Silver Star next time a I or my family members are looking to buy a car.

Overall experience was good. Enjoyed working with Kevin and George. We purchased three autos from them and were satisfied with the treatment and service which we received from them. I would consider shopping there again. We have since purchased new cars elsewhere.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with these gentlemen. I had been taking my BMW to this dealership/service company for about two years. I was very happy with how I was treated and given much appreciated information about the service required on my vehicle. I was having a lot of problems with my car the fisrt time I visited. They were very straight-forward about what really needed to be fixed and what could wait. The only reason why I hadn't continued going there was because I purchased a new vehicle.
