Smail Honda is one of the best dealerships I have experienced in my 30+ years of buying cars. I just recently purchased my third Honda from Smail and I'm very pleased to say that it was the least stressful car buying experience I've had to date. The sales staff treats you with respect. The SUV we purchased was prepared perfectly and the finance process had no surprises. They even came through with a fair and honest price for my trade-in. I literally kept waiting to argue over something (as I have been conditioned to do that when buying a car). But, it never happened. Just a polite, respectful sales experience. Thank you Smail Honda for making this completely stress free. You are the best!

Always happy with the service I get at Smail Honda. The staff always treats me great. Many have bad experiences with Dealer Service Departments but Smail Honda is the exception to the rule. The people and the service are why I keep going back. Update: I want to commend Smail and Smail Honda on the exceptional job they are doing to keep their facilities clean and sanitary to protect their customers. Everyone should feel confident in visiting their Service Department. AND they make sure your vehicle is completely sanitized after the work is done. Update (2/25/21): Took my Ridgeline in for Inspection and some routine maintenance. Tech Staff are always friendly and professional. The service was very prompt, I was in and out very quickly. Always a great experience. Update (10/27/21): Took my Pilot in for an oil change and new tires. My Tech Rep Steve was there to meet me and went over what service I had requested to make sure everything was clear. The service was prompt and I was on my way in a reasonable amount of time. It is always a pleasure dealing with the Honda Service Staff at Smail Honda.

I must have had stupid written on my forehead. I was offered 40% of what another dealership offered me for my trade in. Mentioned that when they send the car to auction there are "seller" fees.. give me a break will never shop here again. In August, I bought a Honda AWD CR-V EX at Smail Honda Village. This is the second Honda Ive purchased there, and the buying experience got even better. Kim Johnson was our sales consultant. Kim was outstanding in all respects. She knows the cars very well. She patiently answered all of our questions in a professional, straightforward, and understandable way. We test drove 2 cars and Kim made sure we were thoroughly familiar with each one before we made our choice. We went in with a price in mind and Smail beat that price. The showroom is beautiful, bright, welcoming, and immaculate. The bathroom was even immaculate! Jim the manager and Bill the finance guy were also knowledgeable, efficient, professional, and tuned into our particular questions and needs. Everything about the Smail experience screams We care about our customers. We want you to have the best car-buying experience ever. We want you to love your new car. I will start off by saying that I do love my new Honda Accord. I also would like to say that I have no issues at all with my salesman, Joshua Petika. If you would choose Smail I would highly recommend Joshua because he did listen to what I requested, and he made it a point to make my experience as pleasant as possible. When I got there, we told Joshua what we were looking for and I found an Accord that I liked. Once we negotiated and reached a price, we shook hands and he told me that he would get my paperwork to a finance manager when one became available. This was at the end of a day on a Saturday, and Smail did appear to be rather busy. So we went and sat down and as time passed, we did walk around, have some coffee, etc. It definitely was the longest I ever had to wait for paperwork, but I understood that it was the end of the month and we appeared to be the last deal that had gotten in. During the wait, Joshua did come and check on us a few times and apologized for the wait. However after about an hour, the finance manager came out and said that he was now having trouble getting us financing. He asked if I was "flexible" with the amount that I had to pay each month. I told him that if I had to pay more than the amount that Joshua and I had agreed to, that I was walking - I also made it very clear that I would not be happy if I had waited at the dealership all this time for nothing. The finance manager went back into his office. Joshua came up to me afterwards and said that he heard the conversation and stated that he would make sure that we would get the deal that we agreed upon. After about 30 more minutes we finally got to go back to the finance manager's office. He tells me that our rate is going to be a dollar more a month. Granted this is only a dollar more than the agreed amount, but it still upset me because I felt that the rate should not be changing after we agreed on a price. The Finance Manager then told me that we "did NOT have a deal at that point" and I argued back that we did.. I explained that I would not appreciate any type of bait and switch and that I know he ran our credit because we filled out the credit release before we came to that price. What really upset me the most was just that despite having to wait an extraordinary amount of time and charging me a measly dollar more a month than was supposed to be charged is the general unapologetic nature of the manager himself. Unfortunately I do not have his name, and he is not listed on the website.Once everything was signed, Joshua escorted us to the car. I thanked him and told him that his service was great, but I will never deal with that finance manager again. A few days later, I received an email from a "Customer Relations Specialist" named Tina Callen. I sent her an email detailing my experience, and I did not receive so much as a reply. I had even called her office to see if she did receive my email and received no response there as well.In closing, I am happy with a lot of my experience. The amount I received for my trade in, the salesman, the amenities available were all top notch. The wait time was longer than what was reasonable but I accepted that. However I think it is absolutely absurd for me to be asked if I was willing to spend extra money after a deal was made AND after an hour wait. Smail also has done NOTHING to show me that their customer service would care about you after the sale. The Honda that I got before this was leased at Baierl, and I will be back there for my next one.Note: I did not put my salesman's name under the employees worked with because I think it is unfair to assign him to the 2 star rating.

I've been in the market for a new mid-size SUV, so I wanted to take a look what Honda had to offer. Overall, I had a very positive experience. Their facility is very nice, and their staff was extremely helpful. In a world where looking for a car can be a real headache, these guys made it a lot easier. I would highly recommend shopping here for a new or used car.

I took my 2005 Honda Odyssey in for electrical diagnosis ($140) last week because the electric seat was not moving forward and backward. I was told the motor need replaced and will cost approximately $600. I was given the part number for a new motor (cost me $100) and tried to replace it myself and found out that the existing motor worked fine and that it was the switch that need replaced (cost me $30). The switch was bad for the forward motion but worked for back motion - the seat was all the way back so it was immobile, wouldn't move forward or any further back. I am just disappointed that the diagnostic was inaccurate and I was also given a list of repairs/maintenance to do totaling over $4,000. I just get the impression that Smail Honda service is out to gouge you. Buyer beware.

I was having my 2008 Odyssey inspected and the oil changed. While waiting I found the perfect replacement for my 1997 Toyota sitting in the showroom all shined up and waiting for me!Jason was very helpful in selecting this vehicle, and then in properly preparing our selection for delivery. He spent a LOT of time with us while going over dozens of electronic settings that are available on new cars these days (my trade-in was a 1997 Toyota, so I was not familiar with a lot of this, but I love it!). Ive leased many Hondas and Acuras from Smails Auto over the last 40 years and continue to show loyalty to them because of the all around salws and service. I dealt with Curt Greek at Smails Honda Village the last 3-4 vehicles. The Pikot I bought was on order but came in a week early, it's already becoming one of my favorite SUV's. Curt never pressured me to buy my Pilot, infact, he's always been very patient over the years. I've taken many test drives and Curt has always been positive and wanting to respect me as a customer. I felt I got a fair deal even though the Pilot is a new hot vehicle at this time that sales quickly.

I had a overall wonderful experience buying my car! Everything from test driving the car to financing was very professional and simple! I would highly recommend John Myers. He was never one bit pushy or a "typical" car salesman ( being a young women that meant a lot). Dean and the service department were a lifesaver when I had car trouble far from home. My car had been parked at a local airport for a week and when I started it up the service light came on noting a transmission issue that needed immediate attention. Dean found my warranty information and explained my options, showing genuine concern for getting me safely back on the road for my long drive home. Brian Creighan went above and beyond to help me. My first visit I arrived at closing time- he spent over an hour and a half with me past closing time. I hate buying cars, mostly because of past high-pressure experiences. Working with Curt Greek at Smail Hondo was different. Curt asked me what I wanted and found a car that qualified, never once trying to pressure me into something else. He even took the time to follow me 20 miles to my home so that we could transfer the license from my old car to the new one--since I was selling my old car privately. All in all, a very good experience for me.

We begin shopping with the intention of buying a used car, 50 K miles or so. As a previous Honda owner (which lasted 15 years, 206K miles and still sold within 36 hours of a listing on Craig's List at DOUBLE the offered trade-in value), we were naturally drawn to Honda, but considered and even test drove equivalents by Scion, Nissan, Ford and others.We also shopped around for price. Honda doesn't do much negotiation on price and the only place we found a lower price was in Indiana, PA for a mere $75 less-- not really worth the drive when you want a first class dealer to go with the first class product.Next, we eliminated dealers with whom we weren't comfortable. They only let you do the equivalent of a test drive around the block. Smail and the Nissan dealer, however, was excellent. They were both so good, it was a very, very close call but, in the end, we gave Honda a slight edge based on the quality of the product.Wes also helped us discover that with the price of used vehicles at its peak plus much better finance rates for new, we ended up buying a new vehicle for just about the same monthly payment. No pressure, jut plain patience and excellent service while we took about six weeks from initial contact to purchase.

It was at their other Smail preowned lot down the road, but he asked if we wanted to look at a Honda CRV that was just traded two days prior. I received a great price quote for my new 2009 Honda Accord EX-L through my email inquiry. The price was so good for me that I did not try to negotiate for a lower price. I simply asked for mud flaps to be included and they were without hesitation. I simply show up at the dealership to pick my color and pay for the vehicle with Curt Greek who was corresponding with me through emailI would definitely would shop there with Curt again for a replacement Honda Accord once a complete new redesign of the Honda takes place in 2016 or later.

Jeff Smail followed up and apologized. He treated us great. No issues with Smail, just the optimal rep was not very professional. Sales rep Brad is terrible. ran out of gas on a test drive. he offered no apology or explanation. waited 20 minutes in a freezing car for gas. I met with my salesman first online and then made an appointment telling him what I was looking for in a car. I went for a test drive and loved the Honda CRV (I've driven a Ford for the last 20 years but due to a terrible car buying experience with my last vehicle I decided never again to buy a Ford). There was not one minute that I felt pressured by the salesman. I wasn't talked down to (for being a female) and I went to the dealership by myself. We took our 2002 Acura TL (with only 86,000 miles), that we had purchased from Smail Acura in September 2001, in for inspection and we found out it needed some expensive work, so we decided to look at replacing it. We were not expecting to buy a car this day.We had just purchased a 2014 CRV in June and we were hoping to get more time out of our Acura. This is my second lease through Wes Dey and Smail and I would not go anywhere else for a Honda. Wes and Trevor made the entire car buying/leasing process a pleasure and a very efficient process. Quite a difference from an experience I had in San Diego many years ago when the dealership accidentally "lost" the keys of my current car to force me to buy a new car from them that day. I was so angry I had my car towed away to a different dealer and bought my new car elsewhere of course. After having had this negative experience in San Diego, I never look forward to buying a new car. However, since this is my second lease through Wes and Smail, it speaks volumes to them for making my car buying process efficient and pleasurable. The experience that I had when making my recent purchase of a honda accord hybrid was very professionally handled but my salesperson Curt Greek. Curt was the type of salesperson that you don't often hear about. He was not a pushy salesman. He treated me like I was part of his family by caring what I wanted and needed on the car that would make me happy. Curt went way overboard to find me the exact car that I wanted. That particular car was to go to another dealership in another state but he asked that it be sent to Honda Village for me. The accord hybrid exl cars are few and far between so Curts effort to acquire one was extraordinary. I visited Smail Honda Village several times speaking with their sales person, Chris Varade. I also called him with questions re. a new Honda and he always answered each question honestly and with integrity. He is extremely knowledgeable about all of the vehicles they sale and helped me pick out the right one with my history of driving and lifestyle. I have had very bad experiences with the prior sales people and managers at other dealerships so I was very hesitant about how this experience would go. Chris changed my opinion due to his professionalism, being so easy to deal with and he never once pressured me which was a new experience! He arranged for me to take a Honda Civic automatic out for a long drive as I had always driven manuals so I didn't think I would like it. I was wrong and he was right about my loving it once I drove it. He knew what price I wanted to pay for it as I had done a lot of research ahead of time and went in with my research papers. While driving the new car, he was working with the sales managers and coming up with some figures in case I liked the car and wanted to purchase it. He made buying this car a "breeze" and a very pleasurable and satisfying experience. Negotiating the price and trade in price on my old car (a Honda Civic with over 213,000 miles on it) was very easy and never once stressful. I was suppose to get the car three days later, but I needed it earlier due to an unforeseen emergency. I called Chris but he was off that day, so I spoke with Patsy Darazio, the General Sales Manager, who was extremely helpful and understanding of my situation and concerns. He called Chris and Chris called me right back and even though it was his day off, he then went into the dealership and made sure the new car was ready for me to drive that day before they closed. Since I arrived so close to closing time and it was Chris' day off, they arranged for me to sign the title to my trade-in the next day. When I went back, Chris answered all of my additional questions and showed me the entire car again and went over it in complete detail and said I could always call him and come see him if I had any more questions. He even stayed way pass their closing time to show me how to use all of the different items on the new car! I never heard of a sales person doing that before. He never rushed me and made me feel as though I was the only customer but I know that wasn't true as he is very popular due to his expertise and easy-going personality. He truly is an amazing, caring and unique sales person. I highly, highly recommend Chris and going to Smail Honda Village without any hesitation whatsoever to anyone looking for a stress-free deal, great service not only personally but also with the vehicle. Also, Trevor Henderson in the Financial Department did a fantastic job, too, and was very easy to work with and explained everything and all of the papers I needed to sign and why and gave me copies of everything. This was the most pleasant experience I have had in a long time! I had owned my car since 1999, and I was so worried that I couldn't get the automobile that I had my heart set on, but Zach worked withme and my finances and I drove off with a 2014 CRV. He was absolutely wonderful to deal with! I was worried about being pressured ( from all the horror stories I heard from people buying a car), and I didn't get any of that. I just went to Smail Auto last week and bought my first car. It was a scary experience considering I'm not car savvy. Henry was the sales person who helped me out. As a first time new car buyer, I was nervous when I went to Smail Honda. I test drove 2 models with Curt Greek and felt really at ease with the process. When we went inside to discuss buying the 2013 Honda Fit that I did end up buying, Curt had me feeling confident and at ease. I love the car, and the dealership experience at Smail was absolutely terrific. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a car. I first met Curt through the Smail Honda Village website when I was looking for a Honda Element three years ago. Although I was thoroughly satisfied with my Element the rescue that I had adopted had outgrown the "Dog Friendly" package that was installed when I got that vehicle.Prior to acquiring the Element I had been a longtime customer of a certain very large domestic automaker. However, the experiences that I have had with the Element, Honda, Honda Village and especially Curt made it pretty obvious where a search for a new vehicle would begin and end. And though I do kind of miss the Element my faithful four legged companion seems to be much happier now that he has more room to move around in the back cargo area of the CRV.As for Curt, because of his initial quick responsiveness when I was looking for an Element I bypassed a Honda dealer less than a couple of miles from where I live. Because of his consistent professionalism, resourcefulness and above all else patience I never gave that dealer a thought when it came time to upgrade Crosby's mode of transportation. We had previously purchased a (new) Honda Accord from Smail in 1991 (240,00 miles strong) but decided to go with Valley Honda in Monroeville, PA for the purchase of our 2nd (new) Honda Accord in 2003 (280,00 miles strong) - we could have easily obtained 350,000 miles on the 2003 model but since we have small children wanted the added safety features provided in a new automobile. Needless to say, my wife and I felt a genuine loyalty to purchase our 2013 Crosstour from the salesperson from Valley Honda. However, after approximately 4 visits to both Smail Honda and Valley Honda, Mr. Varade was the gentleman we wanted to do business with and was the one who convinced us to come back to Smail Honda. In that this is our 3rd Honda automobile since 1991, we had high expectations of Honda and this time expected even more (personalized) professionalism that is probably the norm when compared to 1st time Honda customer. In the morning upon my arrival, I met Chris and test drove two vehicles that caught my interest: a 2014 Honda CR-V and a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Clearly, he had done his homework, and, fortunately for me, he was able to communicate the pros and cons of both vehicles in a way that made perfect sense to someone who does not work in the auto industry. After our test drives, we sat down to look at numbers for all three of the aforementioned vehicles, and I was thoroughly pleased with the courteous and honest assessments that I was given. The prices were fair and plainly stated, and at no time did I feel like I was being pressured into making an impulse buy. As an out of town buyer with over a 2 hour commute, I needed as much information as possible on the quality of the used Toyota Tacoma and the sales price before I could justify making a trip to Smail. Krystle Forsythe was extremely helpful with answering my questions, providing additional pictures and vehicle details, and communicating the sales price. Krystle was very responsive to my emails and respected my request for email as my primary mode of communicaton. When I came to Smail to test drive the vehicle, Krystle and her manager were very fair with the price and were able to work with me to achieve my financial needs. Once the deal was agreed upon, Krystle and Jim Long did an exceptional job preparing the vehicle and papework so my family and I could get on the road for our long drive back home. I enjoyed my purchase experience with Krystle, Jim and with Smail. Even though I live a few hours away, i would defnitely tell friends to consider Smail when making a purchase.

We had a good experience at Honda Village and Curt was very nice and helpful during the process. We test drove 2 CRV's and decided on the one that was most right for us. The only thing that could have been better was more money off the year old car but that is just the bargain shopper in me. We had gotten a remote starter for an option and they were very prompt in calling to schedule the installation; however, there were scuff marks on the drivers door and it wasn't washed when we picked it up. Other than that we are very satisfied with our purchase and will definitely recommend Curt and Honda Village to our friends.

When I went to visit the dealership, I wanted to see the new Odyssey. I had to take my 7 month old grandson with me. Tony was so accomadating to my situation and very patient. He made a special effort to keep us out of the rain. When we went to pick up the car, he had everything in order to expediate the process. We buy cars very rarely, take care of them and expect them to last for a long, long time. So naturally, when we had a 1997 Honda with over 200K miles, we thought it was time to start looking. There were a lot of good candidates which we looked at. Nissan's Versa was wonderful and the dealer was superb. We were close to being won over, but thought we should at least try equivalents like the similar sized models made by Kia, Hyundai, Ford, Scion and, of course, Honda. All were quite similarly priced for comparable equipment.All of the local dealers except Scion were willing to give us a day or more trial with their car. We did find a Scion dealer in a nearby town who was willing, but the Smail service was extraordinary. Yeah, they don't dicker much if anything on price. But dealer service is part of the total package and we felt that the only one who would come close to Smail Honda was the local Nissan dealer who offered a lot less warranty for only a little less price.Wes was helpful without being pushy or annoying in any way. I think we would have been happy with any of the six candidate vehicles because they are all great products. But when we crunched the numbers the TOTAL package tipped in favor of the Honda Fit and Smail Honda.

I was very impressed with Henry Bocharski as my Honda salesman. He provided my wife and me excellent service while we were looking for a new car (even patiently waiting while we flipped back and forth between colors). His first price offer was a few hundred lower than another dealer with whom I had spoken, and his offer was much more in-line with my own research.I was also generally happy with Bud Smail as a dealership - we had been referred by many happy friends and family members.My only point of contention was a ridiculous low-ball offer for my trade-in from the trades manager. Had I not had a printed copy of a trade-in offer from another dealer (more than double of Smail's assessment), I don't think they would have budged and I would have had to walk away.I would recommend Henry and Smail to anyone looking for a new Honda (especially if you are not bringing a trade)!!!

We looked for over a month from Ohio to Washington, Butler,Pittsburgh and Greensburg. I won't go into all the crap we had to listen to from salesmen and sales managers. we felt like we were on Revolution Blved in Tijuana Mexico. Trust me it's not a good thing.We stopped in Smail Honda on Saturday and drove our 2007 Honda Fit Sport home on Tuesday. Smail and Jeffery were great. We were able to take the car to our mechanic, the paperwork took but only a couple of minutes, the car was cleaned and the tank filled before it was given to us. No that is service!!! We can't say enough about Jeffery. He handled the sale perfectly. He answered every question we had in person or on the phone, and quickly. We weren't handled, we were talked to. All those other jerks need to come and watch him for a day to learn how to be a salesman.

The best part was that he wasn't a PUSHY salesman - if so we would have left like we did at other sales lots prior. Curt was down-to-earth, not at all pushy, and genuinely helpful. There was no endless back and forth haggling, just an honest discussion of what we were offering the dealership. An offer they not only accepted, but even beat by $50. This was a refreshing change compared to our recent experience car shopping at other dealerships. My experience at other dealerships while looking for the best price was one where they wanted to haggle to make a better deal for themselves. Frank Moyer was so wonderful to work with! His patience & expertise made the process go so smoothly! He went above and beyond what we expected from our salesman and was not a pushy one either! He got us (after having to track it down before it was built) exactly what we wanted and when we needed it. The expected time of arrival was accurate and the Pilot was exactly what we hoped for. Frank took the time to explain the whole process to us and go over the car and all the 'extras' in it. Mike in finance even found us a lower rate than what our credit union was. Im 51 years old and i have bought a few cars or trucks thru the years, this had to be the best exp i had to date on buying a car or truck. My first contact with the dealership was through live chat. I spoke with Wes Dey who was friendly and helpful. We arranged for me to visit the dealership a few days later. Wes was extremely accommodating, patient, but not at all pushy (which I would have hated). That evening, after a test drive and a look at several vehicles (new and used), I made arrangements to purchase a new CRV. I'm very pleased with my Honda (this is my third, including one Acura). We have been "Honda people" since 1988. The service has always been top-notch, and the salespeople are always very professional. Curt Greek knew that we were interested in the Pilot and had kept in touch with us for several months. He was never "pushy", knowing that when the time was right for us...we would come in. This past week, we decided to "take the plunge." Curt spent a lot of time with us, explaining all the features of the Pilot. The whole transaction went very smoothly. Curt deserves a lot of credit for this. He has since called to see if we have any questions after driving the Pilot for a couple of days. A great experience!

My van was in pretty bad shape, so we decided to look for a new car. I'm moving to California soon, so had to get a good emissions car for the move. I was generally looking for a Honda Civic, but then my boyfriend found this certified pre-owned Honda Civic Hybrid on the internet. I contacted Curtis Greek, went to meet him, took the car for a test drive, and LOVED it! He was very great in getting together all our paperwork, and getting everything set up. The financing man (forgot his name >.<) was also really helpful. Went through a lot of different choices we had, told us the best route to go for long term financing (I'm younger with not a terribly great income), and the best warranty plan that I could do. The next time I get a car, I will most likely go back to the same place again if I am in Pittsburgh--even though it was a 1 hour drive away from my home, I think it is worth it. The customer service there was great!

We were contacted by the dealership because they thought we could upgrade to a brand new model of our current vehicle without increasing our monthly payments. They were good to their word. There was absolutely zero pressure. They shared the cost of installing a few "add ons" to the new vehicle that we had on the previous model. We now have a vehicle that is three model years newer than our old one at the same payment level.

As a long time GM owner I assumed that I would continue that loyal relationship when I began looking for a new vehicle last year. However, right around the time that I started looking GM announced that it was eliminating some of its divisions including Pontiac which was the line of the vehicle that I had at the time. As I primarily use my vehicle for recreational and dog chauffeuring purposes I was hoping to find a small SUV. The options at Chevy were limited to the HHR which did not have 4WD, not a necessity but useful for snow and getting to hiking trails. Otherwise the HHR was okay but smaller than I would have liked and very low to the ground, which presented a challenge to me and my bad back. I had originally avoided GMC because their products were becoming prohibitively expensive but they had recently introduced the Terrain and also had the Arcadia. Both were okay but still relatively expensive if decided to go with a 4WD model plus all of that plastic in the front of the Terrain made me a little nervous about taking it into the woods. Around that time I was reading a magazine and saw an ad for the Honda Element which had a dog friendly package option available so naturally I had to investigate it. Now at first glance, the Honda Element may not be the best looking vehicle out there but from a functionality perspective I am beyond satisfied. In fact the quality and flexibility of this vehicle have gone beyond my expectations. Ironically, there is a Honda dealer closer to where I live but when I was searching the Internet for Elements with the options that I wanted Curt Greek from Smail Honda responded almost immediately to my inquiries and I was impressed by that. To be fair the local dealer did eventually respond but by time that they did Curt was already presenting my with models with options that I wanted. Needless to say I never did get back to the local dealer and a year later I am not sorry that didn't. My first time experience with Honda vehicles in general and Smail Honda specifically has not only been positive but impressive. After dealing with GM and one of their largest local dealers for longer than I care to acknowledge, it has been a great experience to feel that my business was not only wanted but genuinely appreciated. In closing I just want to say thank you to Honda for making a great affordable product, and to all of the good people at Smail Honda, specifically Curt for all of your professional assistance and the great service people.

We would definitely return to Smail Honda Village when we decide to purchase another vehicle!I first contacted Frank Moyer, salesman, by phone to clarify some things I saw on their website regarding the vehicle we were interested in and the Certified Honda Warranty. He was very knowledgeable and answered every question that I had. After visiting some dealerships in our local area, we decided to make the hour and a half trip to Greensburg to look at the vehicle we were interested in. Upon arrival, it began to rain. Frank made accommodations so we were able to view the vehicle out of the rain. He walked around the vehicle with us and explained every detail about the vehicle. Once we were ready to take a test drive, he rode along explaining all the interior features, answered any questions we had, and insisted that both my husband and I drive the vehicle before we considered purchasing it. He worked very hard for us getting the best trade in value for our current vehicle and the best price for the vehicle we were purchasing. While we were waiting to complete our financing paperwork, Frank was very accommodating providing snacks and drinks for our family.Our experience with the Financing Department was just as good. Eric Woodmancy completed all of our paperwork and explained everything we were signing in detail. He was able to get us a better interest rate, which allowed us to purchase an additional warranty.Both Frank and Eric worked an hour past the dealership closing, so we could take the vehicle that day and would not have to return at a later date.I would definitely recommend Smail Honda Village to anyone. It was worth the drive for the pleasureable experience we received.

The entire experience was great. We negotiated via email and phone, Smail found the car we wanted in the color we wanted (no other dealer could "find" one), they gave us the best price, and they were very gracious, professional, personable, and NOT high pressure during the sale. We do live about an hour drive from their dealership, so it is unlikely we will go there for service, but I will definately contact them the next time we go car shopping.

My wife and I welcomed our second son three weeks ago. It was time for a reliable SUV. Driving by, we decided to stop and look at the Honda Pilot. We were greeted by Terry and John Meyers. After a brief history of what we were looking for! Terry appeared with the keys to a brand new Pilot. After a very informative test drive, Terry admitted that he has only been a salesman for 1 week. He was courteous and attentive. For questions that he wasn't sure about he consulted with John Meyers. What a team! These two professionals made our needs and requirements a priority. After some brief number crunching, we agreed on a more than fair deal for our trade with only one problem....we didnt have our trade with us. Site unseen, they offered more than fair market value for our trade. The next business day they began all paperwork and financing before we arrived along with installing two major accessories before our delivery time after work. They realized that we had two young children at home and didn't have disposable time. We were out the door in one hour with our Brand New 2011 Honda Pilot. I recently purchased a Honda CR-V and had a terrific experience at Smail Honda Village in Greensburg. John Myers definately made buying a new car easy! He was very knowledgeable and really went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied. On the day I received my CR-V I found a scratch. I was very disappointed but John assured me that he could have it fixed with no problem. He made me an appointment at the body shop, loaned me a car and had the scratch fixed in a couple hours! I am filling this review the second time, since I am not sure if it was properly submitted the first time. Recently I bought a new Accord 2011 SE from Smail Honda Village, and I am very pleased with my entire experience. The dealer, Curt Greek was very nice and answered all my questions, and gave me very good deal (I bought the car for a much cheaper price, than I expected to pay based on the average price paid for this car I found in internet). This was my first experience of buying a new car from dealership, and based on what I read in internet I was expecting that dealer will try to rip me off and that I would have to be an expert in buying cars, in order not to pay too much for the car. However, the dealer was honest with me and I didn't have to put any effort to get the price I expected (as I mentioned, I paid lower price than I expected to pay). After we agreed on the price, Mike Donnelly processed the paperwork. He explained me properly the extra options they had, and explained in clear terms which options I might need (but I don't necessarily have to have), and which options I might not need. I decided to take couple of options. Both Curt Greek and Mike Donnelly were very professional, and were friendly and honest with me, and I had a very good experience buying my new car. If I decide to buy another Honda in the future, I will definitely buy it from Smail Honda Village, provided I also have a good experience with my car service.

This was our first Honda purchase. We priced new CRVs using online services. Smail Honda Village and one other dealer were the lowest priced of six western Pa dealers. We were apprehensive when we stopped by for a test drive, but after meeting Tom Sylvester, we found our concerns to be completely unfounded. There was NO pressure whatsoever. Tom answered all of our questions, was courteous, knowledgeable, and made us feel very comfortable in this experience. He handled all our details, and pointed out various features of the CRV, without seeming like a "salesman". Similarly, when we went to sign the agreements in the finance office, Eric was fast, efficient, courteous, and genuinely friendly. He explained all the optional services, products and coverages available, without making us feel pressured in any way. We were particularly impressed that Smail Honda installs mud guards on all new cars without charge. Nice touch. We have already, and will continue to recommend Tom to friends and neighbors, and when it's time to replace our other vehicle, we'll be back.

Henry supplied good customer service. He answered my questions and did not push to hard. I appreciated that he did not use the "hard sell" tactic. On my first visit, he showed me the cars that I had indicated online that I was interested. He supplied me with pricing information. Later in the week, I returned to look at one of the cars. Henry was available, we took a test drive, and Henry offered additional pricing and financing information. On the second visit, I did interact with a receptionist. She was a bit distracted and I noticed that her computer monitor was showing a face book page. On my last visit, I did make a decision to by the car. The car was ready except for a 2nd key that needed to be made. Henry introduced me to Eric for the business manager. Eric was efficient, but relied on prior information to pre populate some of the fields on the MV-4ST Form, the application for registration. It turned out my former spouse's birth date was entered into the birth date field. I called the next day, but I am not sure that the mistake was ever fixed at the PennDot level. Also, my work phone number is incorrect. I tried to get that corrected at a prior service appointment for a former car, but apparently, that was never corrected in the database. I waited 2 days for a call regarding the second car key. I did end up emailing Henry and he responded that they needed the car I bought in order to cut the key. He offered to pick it up at my work site. I now have the second key. Overall, the experience was good. If attention had been paid to some of the details, I would have rated the experience as great.

I purchased a Honda Accord from Smail Honda in 2005 and had a wonderful experience then; so when I decided to buy a 2011 honda CR-V I didn't hesitate going back to Samil. I had a wonderful salesman Curt Greek at Smail Honda, and he made my buying experience very easy; Curt was friendly, honest and flexable. I was pleasently surprised at how helpful he was, and he even stayed after hours to put me in my new car. Curt answered all questions I had, and was very pleasent to work with.When it came time to sign all the papers, Eric in finance was just as pleasent to work with and although it was past 7pm, he was willing to answer all our questions. Eric was very knowledgable, and had a great personality...the staff we worked with at Smail Honda was wonderful and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

My son needed a good entry level car to use while he is in collage. I drove a toyota, a hyundai, and a Honda from the same class and price range and chose the Honda. The sales team at Smail Honda treated me like an adult and made me a fair deal on the first offer. No games. I would of walked if they were the kind of dealership that never deals in real money or trys to sell you a payment only. This is about my 18th car purchase, probable more, and I think this was the best experience out of them all. After we settled on price and money down, during the finance approval part of purchasing we discovered that my credit rating was trashed. Very embarrassing to me and did not know that was happening in my household. They stuck with the deal and made it happen for us{my son and myself}. I had to pay a little more but that is not Smail Hondas Fault or Honda Motor Company. I look forward to discovering how good or bad the service department is. My wife and I visited Honda Village on Saturday afternoon for a test drive of a new Honda Insight car that we had been considering. Mr. Curtis Greek, Internet Sales Manager, had been in touch via email and telephone and had invited us for a test drive.Although we were seriously considering a purchase, we were not really thinking about buying that day. But after the test drive, we sat down with Curt to negotiate a price. Mr. Greek was extremely helpful and brought back a good price on the vehicle that matched what we expected from our research on the internet. It included the exact equipment that we wanted, and we were not pressured to buy any other options.Everyone at the dealership was friendly, but there was no high-pressure tactics employed. They presented us with a good deal and (of course) were extremely pleased when we decided to accept the offer. After a short, friendly time with the Finance Manager, who modified an initial extended warranty offer to match more closely our driving habits, the deal was consumated, and my wife drove her new car home that same afternoon.Some of the equipment has to be installed by the service department, but Mr. Greek has already been in touch with us (Monday morning) to inform us about the progress made in getting that done.

I guess I have been searching for another honda since 2008. Started again in early 2009 only this time on the internet with all the honda dealers including WVA. Curt never got tired of my emails and always gave me options on what was in the lot, I made one trip there but decided to wait. He continued to talk with me through emails and would send me emails when something came in that he thought we might be interested in. I knew when we were ready to purchase a honda it would be from him. So on a trip from the doctor we decided to stop at Honda Village again. We have owned hondas since 1990 and knew that would be our only purchase. We didn't expect to buy one that day but we ended up finding the perfect car and the perfect price.Curt was very patient with us, answered our questions and allowed us the opportunity to go home and discuss it further. However I had no idea that other staff would be so good to us too! Patsy stopped to talk with us and to make sure Curt was working with us, I told him Curt has been dealing with me since March 2009 by emails. We of course had other questions that popped up after we got home and thru emails Curt answered or worked them out for us. He even had Michael (fiance) call to reassure me of our payments and where we wanted our loan from. Our appointment was made to finalize our deal and then we met Eric. Wow what can I say but that we were treated like family!!!!! We got way more than what we wanted, we were treated well by everyone. I know that I will always own a honda and I also know that it will only be purchased from Honda Village. I have dealt with all the honda dealers and no one, again no one worked with us like Curt and his co-workers. The experience was more than I ever received from the other dealers and it will last a long time.Thank you Curt for making us feel a part of the family there at Honda Village. I have never been treated so well...

I had been researching the Insight online and was looking rom New England to Pennsylvannia for the best price. When I decided to go to Smail and deal with them i found Bill more than willing to get me close as possible to the best price quote i had gotten. The thing that made the deal final was when I needed to get my license trasferred from another state and that would take about week due to paperwork I had to get from New England area. Knowing my car could be undriveable at anytime due to a mechanical issue the dealership let me take the new car that day with a dealer plate and drive it for a week before I could finalize the deal. I also had an issue with the battery on the New car about a week after finalizing the deal and they replaced it with no hassel. They are professional and want your bussiness and i will be sending them mine and anyone else I know that needs a vehicle.

Before ever going to the dealer, my wife and I had been emailing with Curt Greek, a sales manager at Smail Honda; Curt's emails were very helpful and he was very quick to reply to my emails. Curt and I had agreed on a specific car, price, and meeting time over the internet.When my wife and I arrived at the dealer, Curt Greek was waiting outside the front door of the dealer. These folks are willing to negotiate which also makes a consumer feel good about their purchase. We needed help programing the Bluetooth and Heath came to the rescue. Thanks to him we can now drive hands-free. We have owned Hondas many times over the years and know it is a good product that retains it's value. We have also used Smail's Service Dept as we own a 2006 Honda Accord and they are great. For example, we had a flat tire and were told by every other tire store that a new tire was necessary. Before making the purchase we visited the Smail Service Dept. and was told it could be repaired. It was and it lasted many a drive on the Pa. Turnpike. Our experience with Smail Honda was POSITIVE and the service was GREAT !!!

Smail Honda sent me a letter asking me to consider upgrading. I was not really looking to trade at this time, but thought it wouldn't hurt to check it out. The salesman, Curt Greek, was patient and understanding. I do not like pressure and he gave me none although I hard a hard time making up my mind about which model I wanted. He was super! We noticed a scratch on the door handle before I took possession and Curt arranged for it to be fixed beautifully.

I did a lot of my initial looking online. Several dealers were contacted regarding inventory and price. Most dealerships at least responded to my Emails, although one did not. Henry was the single salesman who actually did some work for me! He returned phone calls, responded to all Emails, and made certain that I was able to find the vehicle I wanted, when I wanted it. He answered all of my questions, so that when it was time to actually make the deal, the process was very uncomplicated. I was willing to drive about 25 miles to deal with Henry, as opposed to driving two miles to go to the dealership closest to me, since they didn't respond to my requests. I would recommend Smail Honda, and especially Henry, to anyone in the market for a spiffy new Honda!

I was referred to Frank from another Honda dealer in my local area. This dealer was unable to find what I was looking for in a vehicle and thought a bigger volume dealer could help. It was the referral that turned my world around! I was originally searching for a certified used Element but that was because no one could produce the Element I coveted, my rare Omni Blue Pearl. After a few conversations with Frank, it was clear that he was willing to do what he could to get me into the vehicle I have longed for for well over a year. I could not believe that he was making it happen! He handled everything with the utmost professionalism from start to finish. I should also mention that a minor problem with my financing didn't keep me from my dream car. Frank worked with the talented staff in the financing department (Mike and Eric) and made it possible to stick with my intended car payment to finally take delivery on my new vehicle. It is easy to see that this dealership is very loyal to Honda and believes in the product they represent and truly do WORK FOR THE CUSTOMER to make it all happen. I have not had anything close to this experience with the other dealers I was working with to make this a reality. Frank said he would get it done and meet my expectations and that is EXACTLY what he did! Now I drive down the street and see other drivers checking out my new ride and I feel like I am on top of the world and I owe it all to Frank. Purchasing a car at Honda Village was the best experience I had in buying a vehicle. Curt was courteous,knowledgeable, and very professional. The entire atmosphere of the dealership was a positive one. I particularly liked not being pressured into a purchase.

Superior customer experience. Dustin followed through on every detail and was able to close the deal while physically overseas. Dustin even picked me up from the hotel and drove me first to the DMV and then to the dealership to pick up the car.This is above and beyond any expectations. However, this time my shopping experience was excellent.fantastic. First of all I keep my cars for a very long time. My Lincoln was giving me mechanic problems. My brother who lives in Alberta Canada purchased a Honda 2009. He spoke so highly of his purchase and service he had received, that I thought I would browse the internet and look at a Honda. I received notice of two Honda Dealerships.Brian Kost called first. He was pleasent to do business with. John Meyers provided great service, a test drive, and a fairly priced deal for us (We had checked online the average price paid in our area code for a CRV-EX.) without keeping us at the dealership all day and without any high pressure.
