I walked into the showroom two weeks ago and saw a very unqiue looking XC60. I quickly learned it was a 2015.5 R Design with just 10k miles. After a long test drive and learning what it would cost to build a similar car new I was sold on trading in my existing car. I really enjoyed the process and look forward to having them servicing the car for the next few years.

I found a pre-owned car on-line, and because I have family in the Summit area who have had a positive relationship with Smythe Volvo for many years, I pursued it. Between conversations with Kevin and Todd, all my questions were answered and a ballpark price agreed upon before I made a 4 hour trip to see the car I was interested in. They assured me I would love the car, and I did. I was especially impressed that both Kevin and Todd called me two days later to make sure all is fine, and find out if I had any questions. There was one confusing point for me in the paperwork about documentation fees, but it was my fault that I didn't ask for clarification at the time. All in all, I had a really positive experience at Smythe VOLVO and would highly recommend them.

I wanted a preowned xc60, I walked in, greeted by Paul, shown several cars that fit my need. Every carI saw was clean and ready to show. Within two hours, I had my car, everything that I wanted. The entire process was easy and convenient and stress free. I will be back to Smythe when I am ready to upgrade my other volvo!

Doug and the team diagnosed the weird noise coming from the back of my S80 in record time, and identified a serious problem. Before giving me the bad news, however, Doug checked in and confirmed that the CPO warranty still applied and that I would not be out of pocket - at all. I'm very particular about my car, and I'm at the shop often to address the most minor of issues. The whole team there looks after me, and makes sure my car stays in top form. Service is a critical pat of owning a luxury car...Smythe make the process simple, and the service team makes auto repairs a painless experience.

After searching around for estimates to get some major engine work done on our XC70, I got to Smyth.I found myself speaking to Tom Coward. Not only did Tom have the best price from the start, he explained to me all of the variables that might effect the price. Still the lowest, we brought the car in.Later that day, Tom called and told me of some related issues. Here we go, I thought. Being an hour away, and the price better than looking for another car, I told him to go ahead.Expecting the worst, we went to pick up the car the next day.Not only was the work complete and the car ready when I was told, but Tom explained that what they had seen as an issue wasn't so bad. The price was quite a bit less than the estimate given.Amazing, friendly, and competent service. I would recommend to anyone.

I found myself with a headlight bulb out on my volvo, and couldn't find time to replace it. I stopped by to have the bulb replaced, and Tom was considerate enough to work me into the schedule without waiting. Turn around was quick and they even took the time to wash the car.

Over the years since purchasing my S-80, it has only been serviced for the most part at Smythe Volvo. I have always felt that I have been treated with the utmost courteous and that the service was professional, friendly and fair.It was during my recent service for a problem with a driver module, that Doug MacAdam went out of his way to find a reasonable way to deal with the matter. After diagnosing the problem and cost, I decided not to move forward with the repair, due to the age of the car. It was Doug, who called me a week later and gave me an option to consider. He made me aware of a third party vendor that could possibly rebuild the part for half the price of a new one. Considering the condition of the car, it was certainly worth exploring.The car has now been repaired and Smythe was nice enough to honor a discount coupon for the repair.In closing, I highly recommend Smythe and see Doug. He went out of his way to help me and I really appreciate it!

I just bought a used S80 from Vito, and it was a great experience. The car was originally sold and serviced by them, and it was very clean. The best part was that it was priced right. Vito was very helpful and never pressured us. I would recommend anyone looking for a good used car to go to Smythe and to ask for Vito (new car too). The service department is also excellent. Overall, a standout and a reason why local owners should sell cars.

I keep coming back to Smythe because, not only are the cars wonderful to drive, but equally as important are the people I depend on for service. Doug MacAdam, my service agent went full tilt out of his way to see to it that my Volvo S60 was brought back to perfection after a somewhat catastrophic engine issue leaving me without a car. Not only did he arrange for a loaner, but he and Sean Flanagan were able to work with Volvo Corp. to rectify the issue with the car both, mechanically and financially as well. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for my future cars. Smythe has proven that a great product is only as good as the people who stand behind that product. Its people like Doug and Sean who seal the deal.

I recently purchased a lightly used 2013 Volvo XC70 from Smythe Volvo. I had been considering a variety of makes and models, looking for a reliable, comfortable vehicle with enough storage capacity to handle dogs, weekend chores, musical equipment and the occasional road trip. After test driving the vehicle I was convinced this was the right car, and got a vote of approval from my wife who liked the comfortable interior and smooth ride. The folks at Smythe, Vito Monaco (sales) and Todd Gregory (used vehicle manager) were super helpful and the process of negotiating the price and trade in value for my old vehicle was no nonsense and fair. When it came time to close on the purchase and pick up the car, the car was spotless and I was very pleased that Smythe was willing to accept a personal check for the amount that I owed. That confirms Smythe as a real 'community' dealership and helps explain their longstanding presence in Summit. Vito, while new to Smythe, is a veteran salesman and a super nice guy, and suspect he will fit in well there.I have not yet had the car long enough to make a long-term owner assessment, but so far so good with no used-car surprises. I have also not yet used Smythe's service, and hopefully that will be just for regular maintenance.

The entire process went very smoothly from view the car, to the test drive to the purchase. This is how car shopping should be. We just picked up our new 2016 XC70. We are "Volvo people." Our last XC70 has 274000 miles and is still going strong. It is, for our purposes, an almost perfect car.Not every Volvo dealer exhibits the characteristics that one associates with Volvo, but Smythe certainly does, and their local reputation bears that out. No games! No errors! No problems!I especially commend our salesperson Kristian Hendriksen and business manager Alex Kattwinkel. Both of them provided complete transparency and exhibited personal kindness and courtesy.The dealership facility has recently been upgraded and remodeled. As with many in the inner ring of Metro NY/NJ suburbs, it occupies a tight space, but it has been laid out very nicely for customer comfort and convenience.We are very pleased to give Smythe Volvo our highest recommendation. I have been dealing with Smythe Volvo since 1999. Over the years I have gotten to know the service managers and trust them to make sure my car is looked at very thoroughly and to only recommend things that I truly need to have done. This was my first service appointment for my XC60 and it went like clockwork. Doug arranged for a nice loaner car and even accommodated my preference of cars. (It's nice to try something you don't drive all the time!) Service was included in my maintenance package. Doug recommended a tire rotation. Car was ready on time and washed.

This is a quick review of my purchase of XC90. In one line - This was my best car buying/leasing experience ever. Drove in my Mercedes and was offered the best trade in price without much negotiation. Also the price and discount on the 2017 XC90 was fair. I walked into Smythe Volvo only half expecting to find a car at a price that could work for me, though I loved the last Volvo I owned. I worked with Kristian Henriksen and we discussed new and used options available and I told him that I had looked online and given the purchase price of the XC60 I did not think we could find numbers that work for me. He handed me the keys to an XC60 and encouraged me to take a drive while he looked at programs available that could help. When I came back, we sat as his desk, he ran the numbers, applied all available incentives and made the numbers work! No back and forth with a sales manager, no pushing me above my limits, no sacrificing amenities in the car - just bottom line. He was kind, he was not pushy, he made the experience so pleasant. I love my new car and I loved this experience!

My situation is a little complicated! Never did before, buy a new car(2017 XC90) and trade in my old car is not easy thing to do for me, however, thanks Mr. Leary to make it so simple, the who purchase experience is beyond our expectations. I did research myself, I know Symthe is the best, no playing games, very fair price, we even didn't bargain a lot, but end of that we do get a very fair price! I needed to have a broken window replaced on my 2006 Volvo XC70. The Dealer's Service Dept. gave me a price for a new window that was more than I wanted to spend. I explained the situation to Nick. He was sympathetic and responsive. Nick found a source for a used window and gave me a very good bundled price (for the window and the installation) that saved me around $250. The window looks great, and the quality of the installation was first rate. I really appreciate the effort that Nick went through to help me out, and the high quality of the repair work that was done.

My check engine light came on and, naturally, I was concerned about safety. I called Smythe and Nick gave me an appointment quickly, for which I was grateful. It turned out the thermostat needed changing. The service was done and I was in and out in the time I was told. I should also say my car is a 2002 wagon and Smythe keeps it running great! They also washed the car, so it also looked terrific after the service!

After having a less than positive experience with a nearby Volvo dealer, where I felt like my wife and I were barely acknowledged at times, I began looking for an alternative dealership to work with. Seeing all of the great reviews for Smythe I decided to give them a try and I'm glad that I did. I called and was set up with an appointment with Chris Henriksen. Chris was great to work with. I came in looking for an XC90 with a specific set of features, while Smythe did not have this on hand, they had a similar but fully loaded model on site. Chris worked with me on the price to get me closer to what I originally had in mind, and we were able to come to an agreement on the model on hand. Chris was professional and courteous throughout the entire process and did not push or hurry me to make a decision. I also worked with Ashley when I came back to sign and she was also great. Very easy to work with and explained each part of the process. I would definitely come back to Smythe for any future Volvo purchases, and plan on having my car serviced here, even if it's a little bit more out of the way.

When my father and I arrived at the showroom, we felt very comfortable with the wonderful atmosphere there. Paul Leary came to greet us, introduce himself and ask if we needed any help. From that moment on, he began educating me about the Volvo S 60 model I came to see. This was the best experience I have had at a car dealership in that I was able to learn all I needed to make my decision in a very reasonable period of time and most importantly, without pressure. Everyone I dealt with at Smyrhe Volvo was very nice and made the whole experience buying a car extremely pleasant. The receptionist would even make me the perfect cup of Earl Gray tea every time they came in. The owner came over to talk with me and even threw in some special extras at the end. Best of all it is located in an easy to get to location, not on some terrifying divided highway like most car dealerships. Thanks to Smyrhe for a great car buying experience.

I have been to multiple dealerships on route 22, East Hanover and Princeton in my quest for a Volvo XC 60 and some places do not respect the customer's needs or range in spending by adding on unnecessary fees. The service department does their best to accommodate my schedule and offer a loaner when I need it. They are friendly, customer-focused, and provide reliable and TRUSTWORTHY service. We bought our first Volvo just about 5 years ago, and the Service Dept. is outstanding. They truly treat you like family. The Volvo has about 70K miles and is doing well. Today, I went in for an oil change, and had Travis Lefever be the point of contact. He is professional, knowledgeable (and if he happens NOT to know, he will find out, instead of trying to "puff" like other people do outside Smythe). I have never felt that I have been pressured to do a service; again, they treat you with the utmost courtesy and respect here. The team (behind the desk, to the car technicians, even the gentlemen that drive you to your nearest location in town) are good people. Hats off as well to Doug and Nick in the Service Dept. (they have taken care of me in the past, also with extraordinary care). Hands down, I recommend this dealership, even if you have to drive further to get here for routine maintenance.

We bought a C70 and want to add our accolades to the others who talk about this dealership. Our first visit there was on a busy Saturday, and we ended up with Kevin who let us test drive the car by ourselves and then sat in a non-pressure environment answering our questions. We came to find out later that he's actually the owner of the dealership! A week later we came back and met with Ashley, who guided us through the sale and was also extremely pleasant, courteous and professional. Along the way we negotiated with Gabe, the pre-owned manager. He even gave me his cell phone to call, after he had left work. We counter offered and then he countered with an offer, which we accepted. He was not high pressure, and even took time out of his non-working hours to explain things about any aftermarket work we might have done to the car, to make sure we didn't cause problems with the car's electronics. Then to top things off, Alex the Finance person at the end was really flexible with how we paid for the vehicle, and again, did not hit us with high-pressure sales pitches for extended-warranty plans. We live in PA, but I'd sure drive all the way back to this dealer again for another purchase. They give dealers a great name!

We absolutely love our new-to-us Volvo XC70. We found Smythe by researching the car we wanted and came to Smythe because it looked like it would be there. We had actually never heard of Smythe before as we come from a distance away. Everyone was really nice and we felt confident that we would get a good car. Rob Hoffman was very professional and not like anyone who had interacted with us at other dealerships. I am amazed that I had not known about this great place before, but in researching the pre-owned cars, it appeared that there was an unusually large amount of repeat business. I now know why. We just took delivery of our 2016 XC90 and our experience at Smythe Volvo was outstanding. When we decided to look for an XC90 we visited a dealer that was closer to our home. Although they had access to inventory from three dealerships they did not have the exact vehicle we wanted. We found the exact car we were looking for in Smythe's online inventory. We met with Craig Melquist who made the transaction easy and with no pressure. He gave us a great deal. While the other dealer used our Loyalty rebate to reduce the price of the car, Smythe gave us a better price and then gave us the Loyalty rebate on top of that. I am extremely pleased with the deal I received at Smythe.When we came to pick up the car Ashley Butfiloski helped with all of the paperwork, explaining everything in detail. She made the process easy and enjoyable. On the day we were to pick up the car, Paul Leary responded quickly to any questions I had before we came to the dealership. At delivery Paul did an outstanding job going over the car. There's so much to learn with the XC90 and Paul patiently explained all of the systems in the car, making sure that we understood how to use everything.Overall I am very impressed with Smythe Volvo. When our 2004 XC90 got a little long in the tooth, it was time to upgrade to a newer version. Smythe's online inventory was easy to browse and we were able to quickly make an appointment to come in and test drive a couple options. The transaction was quick and easy, with lots of information about the vehicle history was available and we were very pleased to chose a 2010 XC90 with lots of bells and whistles to purchase. We came by the shop just to check the new XC90. We didn't plan to purchase the car since there were still months remaining on my previous lease and we were looking for other cars. But Kristian offered us a great price and even agreed to pay off the previous lease, and Alex from the finance department also helped on giving a good rate. So we ended up with an amazing new car months earlier with great savings.Kristian is very professional to work with. Send him an email or text him he will ring you back in a few minutes, or right after attending to other customers. He also setups everything ahead of time so the whole process is painless. Of course I also have great experience with others at Smythe as well and they works as a big family.The only complaint is that they've moved to a place with even more traffic. The staff was courteous and knowledgable, and the work was performed promptly including a car wash. Who could ask for more?

I looked at the XC 90 with four other dealerships in the NY/CT/NJ area. Not only was Smythe the best with follow up and (non-pushy) sales, but they were able to get us the new T8 faster than any other dealer. We were considering the Volvo XC60 as well as the BMW X3 and the Mercedes GLC. For the value the XC60 can not be beat. We used the USAA car buying service and Kristian Hendricksen was our sales representative. Came in with my wife to look at a Volvo to replace our Audi A3 Sportwagon. Decided on a V60 and then had the pleasure of meeting Chris Henriksen. Chris was an absolute pleasure to work with. We wanted a specific color combination which turned out to be rather hard to find. But Chris found it and was able to get it for us. Came back a few days later to take delivery. Met with Alex, who took us through all the paperwork and then Chris walked us through the features of the car, made sure we were totally comfortable with it and sent us on our way.The dealership itself is spotless and everyone quite accommodating. Overall, a wonderful car buying experience.

Having had bad experiences in the past when purchasing a car, I was dreading coming in that Saturday, In fact, I almost turned around and went back home. My expectations were very low. Well, lucky for me, my Salesperson was Paul Leary. He actually actively listened Within minutes he found my car, an XC70 with 2 options I had to have.... BLIS and Rear Camera. An added bonus was a Navigation system. It was a very stressless and pleasant transaction. I also had a trade-in but was unable to find the Title. Paul went online and to the DMV website and got the info I needed to obtain a duplicate Title. When I came to pick up my new car, Paul sat in the car with my sister and I and explained and went through every single feature in the car. He did not rush through but paused to take questions. Paul also helped with sign up for Sirius and the road assist program. This was all a Godsend because this is my first car with all the bells and whistles and it was very overwhelming. I felt confident that I new enough to drive the car.So yes, I am completely satisfied and happy and will recommend Smythe Volvo to anyone wanting to purchase a Volvo. I love my car!Thank you! D. Just bought our Volvo #7 or 8 from this dealership. Excellent service and very knowledgeable accommodating employees, I had to re-schedule few times and Paul Leary dealt with my last minute changes in a very gentleman like manner. They are very efficient in preparing and explaining terms of a deal so the actual transaction is quite smooth. Learning this car takes much longer! I also had very good experience in returning leased cars, trading in , buying new cars, servicing them over past 10-15 years. They are able to maintain high quality services even with growing business . Shopped around this time quite a bit for other brands and decided to come back to get the new 90. I think I got very decent deal.

I would recommend this dealership to everybody. We had Ashley doing a a painless process of car transaction buying . I had dealt with a lot of car dealerships in the past and they don't go out of their way to help a customer like she did. As compared to the last dealership of another car that we bought last year , ( the previous one was just good when they sold as the car) and I got stuck chasing them for miore than a month to payoff the bank I traded my car for. The place is immaculately clean , very courteous. Aside from Ashley , the finance officer found the best deal for my husband and was considerate with helping us . Thank you !

A used 2011 S60 AWD, I trust Chris to the point where I let him know my needs, budget, and time frame and he does the rest. My experiences with car dealerships has always been dealing with pushy car salesman who only cared about how many cars they sold and their commision. Then just when you thought you were finished spending what seems like hours playing the price game, where the sales person keeps going back and fourth from sitting with you to going to the sales managers office you're turned over to the even more dreaded finance guy.........Well, not at Smythe Volvo! That's why we're back to purchase our 2nd vehicle from them. Our first purchase was with Steve Bergamo. He was a total professional. It was a wonderful experience working with him. He was extremely helpful with ordering our car. We really can't say enough about Steve he's just a gentleman and he left a great impression on both my husband and I. Because of Steve we came back to Smythe when we were ready to purchase another vehicle. We asked for Steve but he was promoted to manager of Aston Martin (congratulations) so we ordered our next car with Craig. Craig too was very helpful and took the time to work with us and was never pushy. When the car was being delivered to the port Ashley took over calling us. Ashley too was very helpful and really went out of her way. She was well versed with her instructional knowledge of the car and just a delight to work with. Then we sat down with Alex regarding the financing he too was an absolute pleasure to work with. Alex was professional, friendly and helpful. We will always only buy volvos from Smythe! What a great team of people who work there!

I was Christmas's shopping at the short hills mall and my Volvo got stuck with a flat tire I called the 800 number and they towed me to Smythe Volvo around the Conner it was late afternoon when I arrived ,I was meet by the service manager Allen who assured me they will get a new tire on my car and get me and my little ones home safe the staff was great nick, tony Dennis and Tom, Doug they made sure a service person stayed to replace my tire something my dealer said they could not do for me, you now have a customer for life I LOVE THIS PLACE.

I had a fantastic experience with Kristian Henriksen at Smythe Vovo in Summit, NJ. He was informative and helpful but not pushy. Unlike salespeople that I dealt with at other dealers, he didn't push me to make a deal before I left the showroom. That's ridiculous; I wasn't buying a bowl of fruit. Great service all around.

2 Weeks ago I was in the market for a Certified Pre-Owned XC90 and inquired about a vehicle listed on the Smythe Volvo site. Paul Leary took the call, from the very beginning I knew I was in a true professional hands. I explained to Paul that I was looking at a similar priced vehicle at a nearby competitor, he said he understood but assured me that I would immediately see the difference of his dealership. I was at first very doubtful of that statement but, boy was I completely wrong. After visiting the competitor a few things became apparently clear, they operate like a body shop, attempts at bait and switches are common business practice. Completely opposite of my experience with Paul. Even thou the XC90 was $300 more with the competitor I went back and purchased it with Smythe. What a great experience from beginning to driving off the lot. Paul is a true professional and Smythe has won me as a customer.........

Doug helped me arrange a mini-overhaul of my 2006 Volvo XC90. I had bought the car used, and while it was in great cosmetic and mechanical condition, some of the wearables weren't well looked after and it had been a long time since a "full" service including deep down diagnostics. I wanted the car to be running at its best for winter and the years to come. Obviously, this wasn't going to be a cheap process but Doug was fantastic in advising me what was necessary and what was a 'want' as opposed to a 'need'. He kept in contact with me throughout the whole process. including dealing with a useless warranty company, and made sure I was happy with the work every step of the way. His knowledge is incredible.I look forward to going back to Smythe for a new car in the future and working with Doug again. How every service experience should be.

I was in the market for a used Subaru. Being in the military I used USAA's car buying service, and contacted several local dealers about what I was looking for. I contacted Smythe Volvo about a car they had, and within 2 hours on a late Saturday evening I received an email that I would be contacted the next day about scheduling to come see the car. I had done the same thing with other dealerships, but the difference was not only the prompt service I received, but the no hassle process. I've never had an experience like I had at Smythe Volvo. I had not only one staff member help me with my purchase, but 3. The other dealerships had the same opportunity for my business. I wanted to get a certified pre opened model from a local Subaru dealer, but there lack of reaching out to me. I would send an email to these dealerships only to have them reply back with spam mail and not even answer my question. Kristian was a great associate at Smythe Volvo that helped me the entire process. If you are looking for the best experience you'll ever have buying a car, I suggest you make your way down there. If you are not satisfied, then it was probably because they didn't have the car you were looking for. If they have it there, it will be the best price and service. I highly recommend Smythe Volvo and would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from them.

Number 15 is in the books and all were bought at Smythe . Our 8 month old Volvo was involved in a terrible accident when another car ran a red light. All systems in the car did what they were supposeto do and as a result my wife and I were uninjured . I was at Smythe the next day and in a new VXC70in just a bit over a week. They are the best !

We just had a major repair on our 1997 Volvo 850T. It is a wonderful car because of the fantastic service we receive at Smythe Volvo. We are always treated so nicely and quickly. My car is always fixed on the first time in, never a return for the same issue... my last visit to correct an overheating problem. First off let me mention the fact that I drove 5.5 hours from Richmond VA to buy a VOLVO XC90 that I hadn't seen in person . That sentence should speak for itself . I had been looking for quite a while and all over the US to find the right XC90 . I was prepared to travel to find the car I wanted. Every other dealer I contacted didn't want to deal with me in a quick and respectable manner until I contacted Smythe based on wonderful praises from Mabel. A deal was made over email and the phone with Gabe who was quick and professional. I made my way up and met the whole team. I felt respected and that they really cared that I wanted to buy this vehicle . Chris showed me the car and showed me all the service records and Ashley got everything straight with the purchase . I was given a tour of the dealer and was able to see all the antique Volvos that Smythe has on display! These people really care about the brand and products they are selling. Kevin, the owner, personally came to talk to me and we had a great conversation about vintage Volvos. We both happen to own and restore a collection of them . This was another reason I wanted to buy from them. They have such an appreciation for the old volvos. If you go to any other dealer right now and drive up in an old beat up 240 they will most likely turn their nose up to you and don't even care that you are driving a piece of iconic history, but at Smythe they are going to stop you and want to talk about your old car, the history of it, what brought you to volvo and treat you with respect. I am that guy... the guy who owns the beat up 240's that drives them to work every day still in 2015 . So that appreciation went a long way with me. Volvo is about family, fun, safety, luxury, and creating a relationship for life and that is exactly what Smythe Volvo respresented to me . I only wish I lived closer. I wanted to take the time to write about my recent purchase of a CX-90 from Smythe. Initially, the conversations I had with Kevin Flanagan about the car were extremely helpful. His knowledge of the specific car and matching it to my needs really helped sell me on the idea that this was the car for me. After that he and his team did a great job of walking me through the purchase process which was a bit more complicated than normal as I am buying it as part of a corporate team. The arrival of the car and the transfer to me were handled in an a great manner. Again Kevin was there to make me feel comfortable. just as importantly one of his team, Ashley Butfiloski did a fantastic job of walking me through all the details about how the car and its systems work. Smythe Volvo is extremely thorough when it comes to service. This department does automobile maintenance the right way. Not only taking care the regular maintenance checklist, they found the root causes of two seemingly minor problems and corrected them promptly. To top all of these, the service is free! I needed to buy a car as I was moving from Manhattan to Atlanta. I had a couple of basic questions that I needed answers to first....after getting a lot of run-around when attempting to contact another Volvo dealer, I called Smythe and was connected with Kristian. He answered my questions directly, with no pressure whatsoever. Two days later, I called and had him put a CPO on hold. That evening he picked me up from the train station himself, and personally did all of the paperwork to complete my transaction on a very rapid timetable to help me out. It was the most comfortable, no pressure buying experience I have ever had. On top of it all, I'm INCREDIBLY happy with the car. It's just what I wanted and it was flawless. Kristian took the time at the end of the night to personally demonstrate how to operate the key functions and get my phones all connected. Truly an exceptional car buying experience. I would refer anyone who is in the market to him.

I live near Princeton and there are two dealerships that are closer to me than Smythe. But since I had such a good experience with the sales staff at Smythe I decided to make the 45 minute drive for service. I was assigned Nick Pavano as my Service Advisor. Nick was amazing! He explained everything carefully and stayed in touch with me throughout the process so I always knew what was going on. He took extra steps to make sure that the whole experience was as minimally disruptive as it could be. He even noticed that I had golf clubs with me and made sure to give me a loaner that would accommodate them. I didn't have to ask, he just took care of me. These steps are why I will always make the extra drive to get my car serviced at Smythe. And while I am sure that the entire service staff is excellent, I will request Nick again and again.

It dawned on me I would never be serviced by Doug, Tom and the Smythe staff if I chose to drive a different car. So I'm going back to Smythe for my next car. Another Smythe Volvo.At my last visit at Smythe, Doug(one of my favorites) helped me check in for repair. He was courteous, kind and even gave me a warning to look both ways before I cross the street with my kids!It's very stressful when my car needs help because I'm not familiar with automotive. At times, being a woman, we can be taken advantage of with certain things. This never crosses my mind when I'm at Smythe. All the folks at Smythe made the car buying process a breeze. I went in looking to test drive a particular car (S60R) I found through the inventory portal of there website. I was behind the wheel within 15 minutes of walking through the door. After returning, they made the purchasing process incredibly easy and pain free. I've been a Volvo car convert since 2004.. My first was the XC90. I loved it and Smythe Volvo serviced my car for many of the past years. The service center managers have not only been accommodating but also ensured I understood any issues besides regular maintenance and gave me options to choose from. After almost 200k miles, it was time for me to buy a new car. I never considered going anywhere besides Smythe. I was torn between getting the newly redesign XC90 and the 2016 XC60. Loved them both and Paul Leary was patient with me as I went on severa tests drives of both to come to my decision. Just as with the service department, the sales department represented by Paul for me was excellent! I'll be back to Smythe when it's time to buy my next car for sure!

I do not purchase cars very often so really dread having to buy a car. But we wanted to buy a used car for our family and for our daughter to have at college this year. Important to us was safety, price, comfort and adequate size. We worked with Chris Henriksen in finding a car to meet this criteria. Well, buying a "used" car at Smythe Volvo is like buying a new car minus the initial "new" sticker price. The miles on this 2013 was 26,000 and the condition of the car was excellent. Chris actually knew the owner of this used car (it was a 2yr leased car) and could vouch for the great care of this car. Working with Chris took the guess work out of wondering if anything was secretly wrong with this used car. As we were looking for used cars Chris actually pointed out a detail on one car we were looking at that was missing a feature we had told him we wanted. He wanted us to find the car that had most, if not all, of the features we had expressed were important to us and he succeeded. He was patient, informative and communicative with us during the entire buying process. After we purchased the car Chris was extremely detail oriented in educating us on all of the features of our new Volvo XC60. I would definitely recommend Smythe Volvo and Chris Henricksen in Summit, NJ!

Went to see a 2013 XC90, that i saw on the SMYTHE website. Our salesman was Paul Leary. He was very friendly and courteous. Took my wife and me on a test ride for almost 30 minutes. He wanted me to drive on both the highway and the city to get a feel of how it handled. There were a few things that needed attention. Paul told me he would take care of it. He also made sure that all the maintenance was up to date. From the monument my wife and I entered Smythe Volvo and Jenni Barry became our sales person Both of us felt very comfortable. Jenni was very knowledgeable and behaved in a consultative manner while showing us the differences between the V70 wagon and XC60 SUV. The biggest decision after picking the model is which engine was right for us. There are many choices but after a couple of test drives we chose the 5T with AWD. Jenni also worked with us to save money by showing us demo/ loaners cars with 7,000 miles to bring us under our budget for our new car. When I stopped by the Smythe service department, Tom Coward dropped everything and helped out. He came out to the car and performed a fairly simple reset. I was on my way in less than 20 minutes. From the very first phone call, answered by a sales person with knowledge, to my in-person meeting, this car-buying experience was by far the best I've ever had. Here, at this dealership, one finds real truth in advertising. I was so pleased to find the best car in the category for me, and have it be sold by a completely honest, straightforward and friendly sales person. At Smythe, there are no hidden costs, as in other dealerships that were much, much closer to where I live. In fact I was so pleased that the car they showed me turned out to be the best one for me. I drove more than 90 minutes both times that I was there and all I can say is that it was worth it. The place is really pleasant to be in and they also have the most intuitive website. I have been a long standing customer at Volvo. One thing that stands out is the level of service I get when I need to bring the car in. Most times, I have Nick Pavano servicing me. He always makes sure I'm aware of what repairs need to be done, gives great advice, goes the extra mile and treats me like a valued customer. I have had to bring in two different cars for two different reasons in the past week or so. I purchased both cars at Smythe and continue to service them there. In fact, we purchased our first car from them in 1993 and have been loyal customers since that time. Given the amount of choices we have in the area, I have to say that Smythe goes the extra mile (no pun intended) and really earns our business.I am continually impressed by the personnel there and their deep interest in doing what is right and making sure we have the best experience possible. I like the new dealership and enjoy the waiting time in the new lounge area.My most recent experience was today when I had a new set of tires installed and a brake pad replacement. Both were done as promised and it is amazing what a new set of tires feel like compared to the old ones. Nick did a great job advising me about the tires (I had come in to have one repaired) and for also seeing that the brakes needed attention. My trust in the team gave me confidence that the new set of tires was appropriate and confirmed a suspicion that I had.While I was there, I was also able to order a part for one of my cars and Scott did a great job locating it and ordering it for me.I also recognize some of the others who helped me on my last visit (Tom, Tina and Doug). Tony continues to be a big help in making sure I am well taken care of.Thanks to the team!

While visiting family out of town we experienced low tire pressure warnings on our new Volvo V60. We were unable to resolve by routine inflation to correct pressure. Before heading home to Florida we took the chance and drove to Smythe Volvo and Nick Pavano assisted us. He had an extremely busy service shop but was willing to take a look at the situation and within 15 minutes he was able to resolve the problem and had us back on the road. I just recently purchased a used 2009 Nissan Altima from Jenni Barry. When you're sick, do you go to a veterinarian? Of course not. You need a highly trained & specialized Doctor. Same thing w/ your Volvo. It's a better value to have a Smythe Volvo Factory Trained Technician diagnose your issue correctly & complete a flawless repair the 1st time w/ the same high quality parts the car came with (not cheap aftermarket parts that fail early), than gamble with a local mechanic who doesn't specialize in Volvo, is not Factory Trained, & doesn't install genuine Volvo parts on your car. There's an old adage "Jack of all trades is master of none." Go where the knowledge is. I'm listened to, heard, and get valuable advise from my Service Advisor Doug. They've a new comfortable customer lounge. Work is done right the 1st time. Whether it's commuting, summer vacation, or cross country road trip, I value having the confidence that my car is completely serviced. No drama-never had a car break down & plan to keep it that way. Smythe volvo is dedicated to customer service. Even though it was the day before a holiday, my husband and I never once felt rushed during our whole car buying process. Even as the dealership began to close and we were still in the midst of paperwork, everyone still treated us with the utmost respect and attention. Jenni was extremely nice and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we would need. They even filled the tank since we were unable to have the car detailed (even though it didn't need it). On the day of my Dad's wake, I woke up to a flat tire due to a pothole puncture the night before. After contacting Volvo on-call to get a tow to Smythe, I called the service area. Knowing I had to be back on the road by noon, Dennis, Tom and the team got the new tire on and fix well before noon. I appreciate the great effort on everyone's part to help me out during a stressful period. Thanks!

He was his usual personable self, taking the time to follow up with me on the progress and the anticipated completion time. This enabled me to arrange to pick the car up at the promised time.I have been very satisfied with the experience of purchasing several cars from Smythe and having them serviced. Recently bought a used S60. The process was very low-pressure, especially since the pricing was very fair and transparent. I am an out of state customer who has purchased used cars in New Jersey before and have encountered difficulties with title and registration in the past, mostly due to my home state's DMV policies. I was transferred to the US for work and wanted to buy a vehicle as soon as I arrived. I visited a couple of vehicle dealers and all of then could sell me a vehicle, as long as I had proof of ID. I found a car that I liked at Smythe Volvo. A rude salesperson, told me that they would not consider any of the documents I could provide (ID, passport, foreign drivers license, SSN) as as proof of ID. He was very unhelpful, not providing any valid reason for not selling me the vehicle. I felt discriminated in this car dealer, since in other places they allowed me to buy a car. In "Motor Vehicle Commission of New Jersey" website, they say you can buy a car providing "Purchasers actual driver's license OR identification document."

My wife and I found Smythe Volvo through our research on USAA's car buying program which Smythe Volvo participates in and visited the dealership as we were in NJ for a weekend trip to finalize details of our pending relocation and purchase a vehicle. We were very impressed with the selection, quality and pricing of the units we looked however what was most impressive was our salesman Chris Henriksen who assisted us on our initial visit but also came in on his day off to help us finalize our purchase as we were leaving town. Chris was extremely helpful and thorough throughout the process, educating us on the automobiles we looked at, the criteria for the certified used car program and was a great ambassador for the dealership in general. It was very evident that Chris and the people at Smythe take great pride in their reputation being a local owned family business known for their excellence service and customer satisfaction. I don.t deny that they are the best in the market . I decided to write a review today as I read a review by Larry D dated 5/28/2015 .He had a problem with the front seat leather. He went to them after the other dealer in Bridgewater told him it's not covered by warranty, they called Volvo & shared the cost half Smythe half Volvo to change the entire seat. I had a driving shaft problem & angel gear for my xc90, this is a mechanical problem , in my opinion should never happened to a low mileage Volvo not a cosmetic thing! They costed me over 5 grands refusing to do even any discount or call Volvo to take responsibility over the car & stand behind their brand. I tried to explain that to the manager, he was polite refusing to do anything. I hope they can understand now what I was trying to say as it's not fair at all. I have Volvo car now for almost 16 years, the other Volvo car I had stayed with me for 11 years. I been with Smythe Volvo now for 4 years since I bought the xc90,everybody there is so nice , the job is always done great, but that was the only time I was not happy.

We have been with Smythe Volvo for over ten years. We currently own two older Volvos, a 2004 Volvo XC-90 and a 2008 S80. We can think of no other place to have the servicing of these vehicles. Every time we had an issue the service department has come through with flying colors. This time was no exception. Even though I did not have a scheduled appointment, Doug and Tony got the S80 checked out and repaired. I thought I was going to miss an important meeting but their diligence and hard work allowed the car to be repaired and back on the road in plenty of time. They are truly the best.

Just drove home my newly leased 2015 XC60...the 3rd car I have either bought of leased from Smythe (my husband purchased his used Volvo 960 there two years ago). As always it was an excellent experience! Both Kristian and Alex are professional, extremely knowledgeable, courteous, caring, friendly, very pleasant and they made the entire leasing process seamless. I had extended my previous lease because Volvo was supposed to come out with a new engine for the XC60 but this was delayed beyond the allowed lease extension time-table. The lease extension process was tedious but Kristian was with me throughout the process assisting me however I needed. Although I was disappointed that Volvo (the company) made this decision to delay the new XC60 engine, Kristian went out of his way to assist me in getting a new car and the lease extension and he worked with me to bring the monthly new lease cost to within my guidelines. Whenever I had a question or concern, Kristian immediately responded with answers. Actually, everyone at Smythe Volvo goes out of their way to make sure all issues are dealt with promptly and resolved. During my lease-extension period with my 2013 XC60, I had a minor fender bender and needed it repaired quickly before my extension expired. Tony got me an overnight appointment in service and Doug went above and beyond by arranging an immediate appointment at the body shop so that the repair could be promptly done before the lease extension expired. I could not have asked for or received better service. I have never had a bad experience at Smythe and I will be purchasing (or leasing) all my future cars from Kristian and Smythe Volvo. Now that I have my new car, the only down-side is that I will not be visiting Smythe very often and I will miss that because I feel like they are all my friends and everyone there makes you feel that you are the most important customer they have!! You can't ask for more than that.

I love how you actually drive your car into the building for service! You are promptly greeted with a smile. Car is cared for efficiently and done right the first time. Over the past 6 months I have been in 3 times for regular maintenance and warranty service. Always the same friendly experience. I had a problem with the leather seat wearing out prematurely. The dealer in Bridgewater where I live said it was not covered by warranty and would not repair. I brought to Smyth. They called Volvo and arranged to have the work done (half Smyth, half Volvo). I know that replacing a front seat on a modern car with all the electronics and gadgetry probably cost with parts a labor a grand or two. So now you know why I drive 45 minutes to go to Smyth rather that the 10 minute drive to the Bridgewater Volvo dealer. Bridgewater is fine and functional. But Smyth is friendly, consistently efficient and outstandingly personable. Both Tom and Dennis in service have always done us right. Even a courtesy hand car wash on the last visit. Kevin the owner is a very nice guy and even remembers us when we come in and he sees us. They have my business and should get yours!

We just bought a used XC90 last weekend from Smythe's Kristian Hendriksen, who made the entire process seamless and painless. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and he offered the car at a fair price. No games. No hidden fees. Whenever we had a question, he responded promptly. He also never tried to pressure or upsell us. As a woman, I've dealt with salesmen who were condescending or dismissive, but everyone at Smythe was very respectful and courteous. Definitely worth the drive to NJ from Brooklyn. We've only had the car for a week, but it runs great, and if it continues to run as well as I suspect it will, we'll definitely head back to Smythe for our future car purchases.

I have purchased many cars and I must say the experience with Smythe and Kristian were the BEST I have ever experienced. Typically, these reviews for dealerships are only written because the sale person requests it. However, I am writing this even before my sales person, Kristian Henriksen, could email me. From the moment I walked into Smythe I could not have been treated with more respect. The dealer experience is one piece of the car buying process, but purchasing a car often comes down to price and Smythe did not play any games. They offered a great price, better than other dealerships, off the bat and made the buying experience as painless as possible. When we went to pick up the car is was equally as painless with a thorough explanation of all the financing as well as a detailed tour of EVERY vehicle feature. I would recommend Smythe, and Kristian, to anyone looking for a luxury car, not just a Volvo.

Growing up in Detroit in an automotive family I've seen more than my fair share of dealers - foreign and domestic. As I've moved around the country I've added to the experience having lived in Ohio, Chicago, Minneapolis, northern Michigan and NYC. I have never experienced such wonderful service, friendly staff and ethical / common sense employees. My current experience with Smythe revolves around a Volvo wagon that I'm looking to give to my son later this summer. Given the mileage on the vehicle (230,000) there are some minor issues with the vehicle that the sevice department has been most helpful with, and their work has been first rate. Given my experience, I would highly recommend the deaetship's service department and, given my interaction with others on site, would also recommend purchasing a car there as well. Dennis Jeffers in particular has been outstanding.

Let me begin by saying that I'm a car guy, I over research every car I own and test drive until I know the car as if I have owned for weeks. Have owned Mercedes, Range Rovers and BMW's , the Volvo V60 Cross Country provides me with the best of all worlds. Great driving experience and the T5 engine provides more than needed power. I was in a 36 month lease with BMW 528xi. 24 months in, I began searching for a new lease (yes, I'm a bit data hungry). My goal was to move into a mid-sized SUV. The folks at BMW seemed hungry and arrogant. The folks at most other competitor dealerships were reasonable. I ultimately decided to lease the Volvo XC60 as it is the perfect size in all aspects and offers the most reasonable monthly lease payments for competitors in its class. All Smythe personnel were head and shoulders above the competition in friendliness, patience and ability to share detailed information on the cars' specs, options and pricing strategies.

I had been on the search for a pre-owned S60. Had visited online and in person several other dealerships but couldn't really find the right car at the price I was looking for, and honestly I wasn't really thrilled with customer service I had received at most of them. I was looking online for a pre-owned Volvo S60 and found three worthy contenders at Smythe Volvo. I called ahead to see if they were still available and spoke to Kristian. One had been sold, but he could have the other two pulled aside if I wanted to come up for a look. Shortly thereafter I was giving each the once-over while Kristian explained the differences between the two cars. I found him to be easy going and informative - not at all intense or pushy. (refreshing) I soon made my choice and we were off on a test drive. By the end of the ride I was hooked. Running short on time, (I had to get to work) Kristian was able to get the paperwork started and procure a loan faster than I thought was possible. The next day I went back, finished the paperwork, received a crash-course in "Volvo-eese" and drove off in my beautiful 2012 S60 T5. It's only been a week, but if the service department is anything like the sales, I look forward to doing business with Smythe Volvo for many years to come.

I came in for a used volvo that I had seen online. I was immediately greeted by PJ Lee and within minutes was test driving the car. After discussing various options with PJ, I came back later that day and worked out a deal on the car I wanted.PJ was very easy to work with and explained all my options in detail. I have been in the market for a used Volvo for a few weeks. I found the 199 S70 back in New Jersey and Smythe Volvo. As one can understand, I had many questions about the out of state purchase and transport back to California. I lucked out with P.J. Lee. He was so patient with my purchase and the endless questions I had about the car. He provided me with the service history and arranged the cars transport back to California. My wife and I were looking for a used car...we went to several car dealers at Rt 22...an our impression on all of them is that you feel pressured to get a car...any car.We went to Smythe, and since the beginning everything worked for us.The were closing ( 5 PM ) and we were attended by Kristian Henriksen.We told him that we want a used car...and he right away printed for us all the dealer's inventory with the final prices, so you'll know exactly how much you'll pay for any car...no hassle, no "going to see my manager" to get "better" price every 5 mins.We went the next day and we test drive 3 cars...My wife was undecided on which one, and we always appreciated Kristian's advise.We finally got the car that we wanted, in perfect shape.I would recommend that you go to Smythe and get a car from them.Thank you Kristian for this amazing experience...

I have purchased many cars from high end manufacturers ( Volvo, Lexus, BMW, Mercedes ) where the expectation is high for the experience. This most recent experience was best ever. PJ Lee should be bottled and sold as what all sales people should strive for in delivering a excellent client experience, In three words -- he gets it. Great job PJ. This is my fourth Volvo, the last three were purchased from Smythe Volvo in Summit. I have had very few service issues with this car, but this experience was like all the others. Never a problem; they're always happy to help. Doug MacAdam diagnosed the problem, got the part ordered and delivered and got my car fixed on Saturday morning - during a snow storm that knocked out most other events in town. I was in the market for a pre-owned vehicle, which I found at Smythe Volvo. I'd spoke to T. Rzasa over the phone and made arrangement to see the car. The car was as advertised, great condition/great price. No bait and switch. I then made a follow-up appointment to purchase the car. Upon arrival the car was detailed and all paperwork was prefilled and ready. There weren't any surprises. No haggling or pressure to purchase additional services. I walked through the front door, signed a few documents, then out through the side door to the parking lot where my new vehicle was waiting. All in about 10 minutes. Simple and easy.Throughout the process, T. Rzasa was extremely professional. Weather it was on the phone, via email or in person, he was courteous and respectful. I returned the leased XC60 2012 and Mr. C. Melquist and T. Rzasa assisted me with acquiring new lease vehicle. They were both knowledgeable and courteous with the process of leasing. This is my second Volvo and love the vehicle's performance, exterior look, and safety. Mr. Melquist gives timely replies with his email while Mr. Rzasa makes periodic emails and follow up pertaining to my vehicle. Service (Travis L.) and Sales Department were both fast, reliable service, accommodating, and structured. Since 1990 Volvo has serviced all the vehicle needs of our Family. The quality of these cars and the service provided by the Smythe team is proven by the fact that two of our wagons broke the 250,000 mile mark before being replaced. Two wagons that I used ferrying around our sons ended up being their first cars. All but two wagons were purchased new and exceeded expectations. The two used vehicles were prior Smythe sold and serviced cars and exceeded expectations as well. Smythe Volvo is a great family dealership that has taken care of our family's vehicle and service needs. I recommend them most highly without reservation.

My husband and I purchased a car here and dealt with a wholly incompetent salesman by the PJ Lee. He made several errors on the business end of things, the most egregious being that he created a second identity for me at the NJ DMV. He misspelled my name as Cassie instead if Carrie when registering the car and proceeded to try to blame it on the DMV and it's notorious incompetence which I can now attest is rivaled only by his own. Four trips to the DMV later, and only Newark Paterson and Trenton provide the investigative units necessary to explore my double, fraudulent identity in the system. Worse than the initial costly and painful carelessness in the Dealership's refusal to do anything to correct or make up for the mistake. Several phone calls have gone in returned. The indifference and lack of pride in their service is the topper to all of this.

Over he Memorial Day Weekend, my daughter got some bad gasoline. Her S40 conked out on the Sunday before Memorial Day while driving on RT 33 in rural Pennsylvania. One o the service Tech's card was in the glove compartment, Doug McAdam. Unable to reach me, she called Doug's cell phone. On a Sunday during a holiday weekend he dropped everything to find a tow truck in the area that picked up my Daughter and her car and took her to Smythe in Summit, NJ. They even prepaid the Tow Truck and added to my bill.

We found a used XC70 on cars.com. We negotiated the price on the phone then drove 200+ miles each way to purchase the car. Smythe was priced thousands below any car we could find in the DC area so it was worth the trip. Upon inspection of the car when we arrived, the built in DVD player screens were working but had some minor distortion. They agreed to replace them for free. Since they knew we traveled so far to buy the car, they could have told us no. Our salesman was the guy who first answered the phone. He was terrible. Thankfully, he was out of the office most of the time when we called, and we were able to work with other sales people who were great. It kind of burned us the original guy was the one who got the commission since he did nothing. We have owned the XC70 now for 6 or so months with no issues. We were very happy with the entire process at Smythe. With that said, hopefully we won't have to travel that far again for our next purchase.

Had just lost my previous Volvo in a car accident and was considering other brands for a replacement after poor interactions with other Volvo dealers in the area. On the recommendation of a coworker, I checked out the pre-owned inventory online at Smythe. Found several candidates that fit my cost/mileage/model year criteria and when I went to the dealership to look at the cars, encountered a friendly and low stress staff. We just went to check out a color for the V60 on our way home from an outing in New Jersey. We actually live in Brooklyn, but had decided not to use that dealer because of the service and a very poor showroom. Within minutes of meeting PJ Lee, we were in the process of buying the car. I came in to lease a car but I was not sure whether I wanted XC60 or XC70, with or without a Turbo. Craig very patiently explained new features (this is my 2nd Volvo), talked about the differences between models, and let me test drive several models for as long as needed. All of this was without any pressure. He helped me to zero on the right model with the right set of features. Craig found the car I wanted at a different Volvo dealership and brought it over to Smythe. I came to pick it up a couple days later. Tom completed all paperwork, very patiently and thoroughly went over the main features, helped me setup Bluetooth, radio, and made sure I was comfortable in configuring my new Volvo XC70 T6 AWD myself. Tom did not rush and answered every single question I had. I cannot imagine a better buying experience.

I came in for a specific car I saw online (a 2009 S80 T6 AWD); the car met the description online and was available for viewing and a test drive even though it had just come in on a trade (they sold the car to the 1st owner originally). On the test drive I noted a slight tapping noise coming from front drivers side. When I told my salesperson about the noise, to my surprise, he said that they would diagnose the the problem and fix it and I could come in and test drive it again. I test drove it once fixed and it was great. They put in new front shocks even though it only needed the drivers side! The car also came with new tires and new brakes & rotors! I've been driving it for almost a month now and I love it! From the beginning, my salesperson, Chris Hendriksen was a pleasure to deal with and took the time to explain all the features of the car the day I came to pick it up. The dealership also did a great job of cleaning and detailing the car before I picked it up. I had a great experience at Smythe Volvo and would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

Found 1 owner used Volvo with clean carfax online. Spoke with PJ on the phone to confirm condition / car history. PJ had the paperwork set up and the car detailed and ready to go when I came in later that evening for a quick test drive and purchase. Very easy to work with and professional. Great experience. Kevin and the sales department searched the eastern seaboard to find our new S60 to obtain the maximum sales incentives. The service department is phenomenal and attentive. Chris dedicated himself to find the exact car I wanted before the deadline for a Volvo promotion. The car was delivered on time at an excellent price. Always patient and knowledgeable in answering my questions. This was the second Volvo we bought from Chris and won't be the last. The new showroom and service area was spotless and very comfortable. Doug has overseen the routine serving of our 2010 S80 in the most professional manner - never a problem.

This is my 4th Volvo, since 2006! My lease was approaching its maturity and I was "just looking" . I spoke with PJ, and it was a deal I couldn't pass up.! I have worked with PJ in the past, and this was another great experience. PJ was able to locate the car in the color that I was looking for, which was not offered at a different dealership. He spent time explaining all the options, and set up the Homelink and Bluetooth for me during the delivery. I am very happy with my new S60 both PJ and Smythe have been great to work with!

Kristian conducted an exhaustive search to find the precise car I requested. He kept me posted on an almost daily basis during the search, which only took about a week. Sometimes other dealerships did not get back to him right away, but that did not deter Kristian. He was on a mission. He was able to find a select few that had the exact combination of features I had specified. We then discussed all his findings and decided on a vehicle. He had to bring it from New Hampshire to New Jersey. I wanted to have it before I left on vacation the following week. It was not easy, but Kristian made it happen. I am so happy with my new car because it is exactly the car I envisioned. Volvo has a great reputation for excellence. Its dealerships and staff should too. In my opinion Smythe Volvo and Kristian both lived up to that reputation.

I came in to the dealership after looking at many cars on big lots and side street dealerships. We were looking for a second car to drive around town and just needed something safe and dependable. Walking into this dealership, with its upscale appearance, I thought for sure we were going to be brushed aside or led to more expensive options. PJ worked super hard to find the exact car I wanted and brought it from Massachusetts to NJ!!! As it was a 25th Anniversary gift from my Husband, he even helped get a giant red bow on it when we came to pick it up!!! He patiently and thoroughly explained all the systems and must have done a very good job, as I remembered and used Navi, Voice, and Satellite radio, which he called and set up for us, on the way home!!! I even successfully programmed my Homelink on the first try!!! So clearly, he did a great job!!! We were getting my husband's car serviced that day as well and the service department was equally impressive! Tina and Ryan took care of us immediately even though we were quite LATE! Kevin, the owner, made a point of saying hello to us. And Alex explained all the financing and protection options carefully and thoroughly!! Overall, quite simply the best car buying experience we have EVER had!!!Start to finish!!!

Sure my Volvo is 10 yrs old and running strong. The reason is the service folks at Smythe who are the ongoing face of the dealership. Doug, Tom, Tony, and Nick do a great job explaining the Why's and What' if's. "Why" this should be done and and the questions I always ask "what if" I don't take care of this now. I always leave with a feeling if you've spent your money, it was for a reason..The service folks are always respectful and accommodating. Smythe, always a class act, and their service dept is second to none!!

Warning service lights went on in my car saying things such as "charge failure" "transmission performance low" and "service urgent." I called several times to get someone to check my xc60 out to make sure it was safe to drive, even though a service appointment was not available until the end of the week. I was told that there was absolutely no time for anyone to check. The schedule was "completely booked." In addition, I was told that it was not certain whether my car should be driven without being looked at and no loaner cars were available at all. What is a mom to do? I drive a Volvo for its safety reputation and did not feel comfortable putting my 2 year old son in the car. I serviced my car elsewhere and never heard back from the manager for whom I left a voicemail. I am extremely disappointed with how I was treated and won't give my business to Smythe when my lease ends.

I was searching for a truck. Three weeks I was driving all over the state looking at (late model ) used trucks. I was specifically looking for a super duty f-250. I saw one on the Smythe used car site. The truck looked great in photos (i have seen that before) great photos but when you arrive totally different picture. Well much to my surprise the truck was nicer than the photos and as a bonus the previous owner kept all the service records. The truck looked new (2011) super duty ford f-250. I am very happy with my purchase. They gave me a 30 day warranty which I have not needed at this time. I have had truck 2 weeks and just love it.. My salesman was honest and straight forward (P.J.Lee). I think they are a good dealer. J

When my darling Nola (2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee) hit 248,000 miles, I was forced to face the grim reality that it was probably time to purchase a new vehicle. I teetered with leasing until I located a 2011, XC60 online that piqued my interest. The vehicle had very low miles, nice features and was competitively priced. My sales rep, Dave Graham, was very responsive and accommodating, even met me at the dealership early morning to allot for my hectic schedule. The sales process was smooth and relatively seamless.I'll preference my next comment by saying that I had not purchased a new car since December, 2002, and I'd never before purchased a used vehicle, however, I was a bit disappointed by the fact that items that "I" would consider standard (i.e. cargo cover, cargo mat, etc...) were not included and had to be purchased separately. Again, to say I'm a bit rusty on current car-buying trends would be quite the understatement, but I'm just saying...Either way, it's now day two and I'm enjoying my new purchase - and hope to do so for many, many, many more miles!

My family and I had been searching for a new car for 6+ months. Having 2 kids under the age of 4 makes car shopping incredibly difficult, but at Smythe, we couldn't have asked for an easier buying experience. David let me take both the XC60 and V60 to my house in the neighboring town so my wife could see both before we made our decision. The process of going to the other 6-7 dealers prior to Smythe was onerous and often meant either my wife or myself were corralling a 3.5 year old and a 10 month in a showroom or arranging for babysitting. David made it simple and easy. The pricing was great, he was well prepared to negotiate the deal over the phone, text, or email, and when we stopped on our way to lunch to make our final decision, he was there to make sure we had what we wanted. When I came to pick up the car 2 hours later, everything was in order. Truly the easiest purchase I've made and truly incredible service from both David and Alex in Finance.

I meant to write this review last week, but my grandchildren were with us and I couldn't find a free moment! This visit was extensive because of a front end rattle and a discharging battery. Nick Pavano diagnosed both problems and found cost effective solutions to the battery problem and front end rattle. We certainly appreciated his friendly and efficient way of handling this service. My wife and I were in the market for a car for our son. We had been to several dealerships earlier that day and remembered Smythe Volvo on our way home. We stopped in and were immediately swept off our feet with their friendly professionalism. David Graham, our sales person, was genuine in his willingness to assist us. Smythe recently moved to this new location and there were still a few glitches with their computer set-up. Still, he more than made up for it with eager foot-work to get us the information we wanted and show us the cars that were available. Even when we, on the day of signing, switched to a different car, Dave was there with a smile and immediately changed the paper work to satisfy us with the vehicle we wanted. I dropped off my certified used Volvo for service on the same day that the dealership was moving to a new location, so the whole place was chaotic at first, and it took them a couple of days to get focused on my car and perform the repairs. However, they were very friendly and apologetic, and once things settled down, they fixed my car and ended up covering things under warranty that were borderline and I was very happy about that.

Doug MacAdam and his team really goes the extra mile. I have stayed with Smythe for service of my older Volvo (w/ 135K miles!) even though I could save $$ going to an independent mechanic. The reason why I stay is the great customer service Doug provides. He also just saved me a trip in - my Check Engine Light went on, and he went through a list of items that could have caused it. And bingo, one of them was a loose gas cap...how easy of a fix that was...and I didn't have to bring my car into the shop. Doug always calls me back in a prompt manner to answer questions/concerns like this; hence why I continue to use Smythe for service. Hopefully soon I'll be able to trade-in my 7 year old Volvo for a new one...I'll be sure to get it serviced at Smythe...even if I don't buy it there! Thanks Doug!

I have driven Volvos since the 60's, everything from the PV544 through my Amazon 122, and most recent '98 S70 T5, putting well over 250,000 miles on each of them (many over 350,000 miles).So, I have dealt with many individuals and dealers along the way.Short of a dear friend who I introduced to Volvos and who later went on the sell Volvos at more than a few dealerships, and my very long time mechanic, my best buying experience was with PJ Lee of Smythe Volvo in Summit.Having gone in to look at a 2012 S70 T5 (those turbos are addictive) I saw on Cars.com, PJ took great care of me and ended up showing me a better car which I eventually bought, but not until I put PJ through his paces first. He passed every test as a salesman and still treated me great. I will certainly seek out PJ for all future Volvo purchases and strongly encourage anyone looking for a grea Volvo buying experience to do the same.

Smythe Volvo is the best car dealer with which I have ever had contact. This is as true of the sales department as the service department. I have never felt more fairly treated in a car negotiation then I did in my recent purchase of a 2015 XC60 AWD T6 from Craig Melquist. The only sad point was I had to trade in my 98 X70, that I also bought from Craig 16 years ago. Along the way I bought a 2005 XC70 off a lease from Chris Henriksen, which I still have. The sales experience was unique in that at this dealership all the sales staff support each other. We went back several times as we decided between the S60, S80 and XC60 AWD T-6 and the XC60 E drive. Each and every time anyone there was willing and happy to help us, never begrudging their time on someone else's sale. Even after the sale was made, Tom Rzasa spent 90 minutes with us fully familiarizing us with the features, on a busy Saturday. The Flanagans, who apparently have full or partial ownership of the dealership are on site working along side the staff actively involved in the operation. And that was just sales. Wait until you deal with the best service advisers and mechanics in the business. Each and every repair or service I had done at Smythe was done the first time, on the day promised, and never had to go back. They listen to you. That is too rare. Here are two great examples of how much I trust the service department. in 2010, I asked Tom Coward to evaluate the 98 X70 and tell me, if you were evaluating this car to purchase would you buy it. He said he would, so I kept it. And even more telling, recently when Nick Pavano told me it was time to trade in the old car, there was no question in my mind that this was the right move. I'll admit it. I'm picky, a bit of a perfectionist. I care about my car, and I won't allow just anyone to work on it. Family owned Smythe Volvo has earned my trust. When I needed a new AC compressor for my 2000 V70, my service advisor Doug MacAdam checked to see if they had the part in stock (computer said no), so then he thought to physically check inventory anyway, just in case ( very impressive extra initiative Doug, much appreciated). Their actions reveal they value your time. He ordered the part on an expedited basis (no extra charge) and had it shipped over the weekend. Today (Monday) on check-in I shared I had an important client meeting I hoped not to miss. This late curve ball by me was no problem, as Doug located a loaner for me and I was able to avoid having to reschedule my important meeting. They emailed me when it was done (on time!). I just picked up my car and Brian (master mechanic/tech extraordinaire/uber brainiac) went above and beyond by addressing an awful door hinge squeak that has been driving us crazy. I'm pulling hair out over it, and I can't afford to do that.... I appreciate the high level of service given by Doug, and my wonderful Tech Brian. Good people. Honest, hardworking, attentive, proactive, purposeful - they add value to my life and I appreciate that.No aftermarket cheap nonsense parts here obviously, the real deal OEM is what I want on the car - parts that were designed to give the most benefit, longevity, and reliability. I've never had a car breakdown and I intend to keep it that way. I value my wife & I value having a reliably maintained vehicle. The AC is ice cold, just in time for summer. When I first went in, I was considering a new vehicle which is what I test drove. Purchased new battery (not at Smythe Volvo) a year ago. Was away from car for 3 months and came home to find battery dead. Doug MacAdam made a house call to check things out for me. I ended up getting battery checked by the place I purchased it, and they charged it and said it was fine. Doug was dubious and requested that I bring car in so he could check the battery. It flunked his test, and his service people installed a new battery right then. I could not be more pleased with Doug's care and attention, and the excellent service.

I've been coming to this dealership for years. I had to drop off my car for routine service which took a few minutes longer than usual for drop-off, but the service team members apologized. It was a busy morning and the representatives were attentive to each individual that they were working with. The service was routine and the service person called with recommended service additions. This is typical customer service for Smythe's service group. I wasn't surprised at the price for the recommended replacement item because Volvo parts are expensive.

Had a power steering failure this week on my 2009 Volvo S80 (with 160,000 miles on the clock!!!). I rely on this car for my daily commute to work, so I really cannot be without it. I recently had my XC90 serviced at Smythe. First of all, I accidentally left my wallet in the car. When I told them, Smythe drove the wallet over to my house right away - and we live about 5 miles away from the dealership. The work was done quickly and efficiently. All the employees at Smythe, the owners, managers, service and sales people are all very polite and courteous, and take time to answer questions. Yet, they are efficient and get work done promptly. I would definitely recommend getting your car serviced at Smythe.

I went to the Summit Volvo center because the service is always friendly and informative. While I was there waiting, I decided to see if I could trade in my S80 for an XC70. I used to own an XC70 for 10 years prior to the S80. My lifestyle is better suited to the station wagon. It turns out they had one that fit my needs perfectly. I was back at Smythe yesterday to pick up my new car. I drove a little further (and past other Volvo dealerships) to get there but it was well worth the extra travel. Everyone at the dealership is kind, courteous, and helpful. Everyone I was introduced offered their assistance if at a future time I have any questions about the car and how things work. They accommodated my schedule and walked me through everything thoroughly and efficiently. I was also introduced to the staff in the service area that I will be dealing with in the future. I have bought several cars in the past and none of the dealerships or staff took these extra steps.Mostly I want to mention my sales person, Chris. He is everything you would want in a car salesman but don't usually get. There was no pressure, no gimmicks, and no tricks. Instead there was patience, diligence, cooperation and conscientiousness. That combined with his extensive knowledge of the car made the entire car buying experience a joy.

Shopping for a car can be a very overwhelming experience, simply walking in to a dealership can give you the sense of being attached I always mentally prepare for that feeling. From the moment we walked in to the dealer to the time we signed and picked up our xc60 I never once had this feeling. The knowledge and friendliness of each and every employee was fantastic! Chris was exceptional on all levels. Being a young couple my husband and I have gotten that you cant afford this why are you waiting our time look from other dealers, which always pisses me off. When we walked in off the street Chris greeted us with a smile and helped us choose between the xc60 and xc90, both of which I loved! Not once did I feel like we were looked down on because we are a young couple. He pointed out that with our current situation we do not need such a large SUV, and that we would be much happier in the xc60. He spent time search for the perfect car that fit into our budget and was a pleasure to work with.

The issue of our car seat catching on fire was pretty traumatic, however, the service team was willing to take the car in immediately. After ordering the parts it was determined that the replacement cover for the seat may take weeks to be shipped. I contacted Dave (after service had closed) and he was willing to work with me to secure a loaner.Ryan called very soon afterward...he was still working...and suggested I come in the next day to get the loaner. Apparently, when he got into the office the following day he discussed the situation with his parts team and they were able to get all the necessary parts and fix it that same day.No loaner needed...car was fixed...no charges? Smythe Volvo has been my car dealer since 1978. The service department is a major factor for my loyalty. All the people I have had experience with have been considerate, friendly, and competent..I feel that the money i have spent on servicing my car has been worth the cost. My 2004' S 80 has 124,000 miles and rides very well for the age of the car. My last contact was a short time ago when I was concerned about a possible transmission problem. Although this was not a regularly-scheduled service, I brought my 2012 S60 in due to a concern about the front-wheel drive. During one of the many snows, I was stuck in icy slush, and it appeared that both front tires were not turning in unison. Nick was patient, courteous, understanding and professional. After the car was checked out, he was prompt in explaining to me that there was nothing amiss -- both tires were working in unison. In addition, he suggested a front-wheel alignment due to the fact that the steering wheel did not align properly. He asked if I had perhaps hit a pothold, which, indeed, I had. This was over and above the reason for the service visit, and I was very appreciative to Nick for the attention to detail. Thank you, again, Smythe Volvo!!!

We weren't necessarily planning to purchase a vehicle that day. However, the immediate feeling we got from the first interaction at Smythe was so much nicer than the normal dealership. Generally the whole car buying experience is stressful and time consuming. This was not. We were able to speak honestly and not feel pressured, while at the same time received the car we wanted at a reasonable cost. We were not "nickle and dimed" and we actually felt that the staff cared about us and our family. We would definitely recommend this dealer and the Volvo in general.

Craig hes helped me in 2013 to to find the right Volvo vehicle, namely a XC60 R-Design. After finding out details about the possibility of an Expat delivery (part of the European delivery program), he helped to find out the details with Volvo North America and got the process started. We quickly got the ordering done, he followed up with a finance offer quickly and kept me up to date about the delivery process. As delivery took longer than anticipated, he kindly arranged for a loaner car to bridge the time until delivery. I had an appointment on Friday 2/28/14 for a 60,000 mile servicing. I wanted to wait while the work was done. When the technician found other issues that needed to be addressed, I was brought into the service area by Ryan and was shown what was wrong. He let me know whether the work needed to be done that day for safety reasons or whether it could wait until the next servicing. We have had many Volvos over the years and I would not consider going anywhere else to have it serviced.

When the lease was up on our previous car, my husband and I dreaded the stroll into various car dealerships and immediately being preyed upon by multiple car salesmen. I purchased my first Volvo from Smythe more than 14 years ago. When it was time to look for a new car, I shopped around at other Volvo dealers. Hands down, Smythe was by far a superior dealership to deal with. The employees are genuine and not at all pressuring. They know who I am when I come to the dealership. All I can say is.............WOW !!! My wife bought a new Volvo XC-70 about a year ago from Kristian and I needed to trade it in because, unfortunately, my wife passed away. Kristian could not have been more helpful, compassionate and made the lease termination as painless and expeditious as possible.Alex was also extraordinarily helpful with the payoff and other paperwork that was needed to not only terminate the lease but also in getting me a GREAT loan as I then needed to buy another car for my own use as my Jeep had 154,000 miles and was on its was time for me to get a newer car.This is where Kristian and Kevin Flanagan came back again.I bought a used Volvo XC-90 that looks new! The price and constant assistance by Kristian and Kevin and Alex was much appreciated!!!!

There has never been a time when I was not 110% satisfied with the service I have received at Smythe Volvo. This holds true for both sales and car service. All employees are polite , knowledgeable, and willing to be of assistance. I feel comfortable speaking with the service people.They have serviced my car even without an appointment. The service is always timely, and I am promptly informed of any unforeseen problems. A loaner car is always available to me. Curtesy, excellent service, a loaner car and close proximitry to my home and work are priority... therefore I go to Smythe Volvo. I would recommend the dealership without any hesitation.

Over the last 15 years I lived in 3 different continents and purchased cars in all of them (already 4 in the US). I can easily say that buying my new Volvo at Smythe was the best experience I had so far. From the moment I contacted the agency via internet to the financing and delivery, everything was smooth, transparent and professional. Special mention for David Graham, he really did everything possible to earn my trust and business without being "pushy" or disrespectful, kudos for him! I will strongly recommend this dealership.

Our salesperson, PJ Lee, showed us the car(s) we were interested in or might consider that were in our price range, age of vehicle & mileage. We only felt a slight push to close the deal, but it was just the right amount of impetus for us to make our decision & so far we're happy we did.

I had a very positive experience. I has no hard-selling, just the facts. Smythe let the customer make the decision on his own -- there was no forcing the decision on the customer as is often the case with other dealerships. I found it interesting that Smythe would let me test drive a car without having a sales person present in the car.I highly recommend Smythe.

I had another plesant experience with the service team at Smythe Volvo. My car was ready in a timely manner and on a very snowy day, they cleaned the snow off my car so I could get home safely. I only have good things to say about them.

Went to Smythe Volvo to check out a vehicle I seen advertised online. Spoke to P.J. Lee (sales consultant ) about that vehicle. He was very professional and courteous as was the rest of the staff. I never felt pressured into anything. I made an offer and it was accepted. Great atmosphere!

We have leased and serviced 2 cars through Smythe - and each time we've had a great experience. They have provided quotes for a wide variety of options and always tried to get us the best price possible. We worked with Chris Henriksen on our latest new vehicle and he found a number of savings opportunities for us. He was very responsive to all our questions and requests and was also able to get the car for us quite quickly. We have had an equally great experience with the service department who gets the vehicles serviced quickly and reliably and never recommends costly, unnecessary work.We'd highly recommend this dealer and Chris Henriksen.

I found the right product at the right price. Chris Henriksen was an excellent salesperson to work with. Communication was outstanding - in person and by phone. Once we agreed a product and price, Craig Melquist had to search to find a car that met the specification. We originally communicated by phone. On the afternoon of New Year's Eve, Craig was still searching and I took my son to an NHL Hockey Game. I couldn't hear Craig's calls in the arena. So Craig had the idea to communicate via text message. We communicated about options this way until he found the right car and completed the deal. And my son was able to enjoy the hockey game without me interrupting with the car-buying process. Fantastic!

Kristian was extremely helpful and attentive. He encouraged me to test drive the XC 60 I was interested in and reviewed all of its features with me. He followed up on every detail and was in constant contact throughout the sales process. He worked very hard to find a car with all of the features that I wanted in a very short time. When the car arrived, he spent over an hour with me explaining and teaching me to use all of the features. I would recommend Kristian to all of my friends and neighbors.

Chris Henriksen was a pleasure to deal with when I leased my new Volvo. He explained the leasing options very clearly and he demonstrated to me how the car works before I picked it up. We had the unusual circumstance of purchasing cars from Smythe that needed to be shipped to another state. Such a situation could be filled with frustrations; Smythe made it as carefree as humanly possible. From start to finish, we were in the expert care of Smythe's phenomenal team -- Kevin, Kristian, Sean and all the others who made the experience not only manageable but fun. They managed the paperwork, the registration, the shipping -- and the cars arrived in impeccable condition. We cannot say enough about the service and attention that Smythe paid to our situation -- during the sale and also afterward when we had several questions about different features on our cars. We were welcomed into the dealership by Kristian Henriksen and immediately felt comfortable. He answered questions enthusiastically and educated us about our options. He encouraged us to take a test drive and provided us with information about special time limited incentives. Kristian evaluated our car and offered a fair value for a trade. He quoted a very attractive price for the new S60 which we told him we would consider. When we mentioned that we still planned to shop he did not pressure us in any way. We called him later that afternoon and told him that we were sold on the deal. We returned the next day to complete our purchase. Kristian was confident that we would return and he was right. A combination of the right dealer and the perfect sales consultant made this transaction the best ever in route to our seventh Volvo.

All parts of the experience were excellent! Great attention to detail throughout by Chris Henriksen and other supporting employees as well as much time spent by him in orienting me to the car once it came in. I know that if there are any questions I have in the future, Chris will be available to answer them. My only regret is that I had dealt with other dealers in the past and only recently came to Smythe. I am a customer for life! I look forward to seeing Chris and Smythe again in their new facility in the Spring.

I had gone to several dealers trying to work out the best deal trading in my 2006 Volvo XC90 and purchasing or leasing a new one. After doing my research I had already a dealer in mind. But I told myself just check one more dealer (Smythe Volvo) since its close to home and that's where I ended leasing my new 2014 Volvo XC90. Smythe Volvo offered me the best trade in value for my vehicle and Tom Rzasa the sales professional was excellent. He was very knowledge, patient and accommodating. He explained the options I had whether to purchase or lease the vehicle. I felt I was treated fairly and happy I checked one more dealer. I would highly recommend this dealership and ask for Tom.

I drove four hours to Smythe Volvo because their price for the XC70 I was looking for was thousands less than any other car I could find on the internet. I really wanted to trade in my old Volvo and drive home with the new one. The sales team was incredibly busy, but they made it happen. We finally purchased our brand new 2014 Volvo after visited 5 Volvo dealerships in NJ. Smythe Volvo was the last one we visited for this car shopping, and indeed the best experience in every way. Once we started talking to Chris, we felt very comfortable and got all our questions and concerns answered clearly and efficiently. He's straight to the point, no vague answers, and worked to make the deal happen for us. After we put down the deposit to order the vehicle, he responded promptly for every email and phone calls we initiated until the vehicle has arrived. He then rescheduled his day off upon our request, so we can pick up our vehicle 3 days sooner, he definitely made effort to work for our convenience. Chris gave us a short but thorough explanation to all the buttons and functions of the new vehicle, and prepared us ready for the drive. It feels like talking to a friend when talking to Chris, yet he's knowledgeable and very professional. Paperwork with the business manager Alex was a breeze, NO pushing for additional protection packages or such at all, he went through the documents, explained all necessary information, everything was done in less than 15 minutes. The entire experience with Chris and Alex was straight forward and pleasant! we have 4 Volvo dealerships near by us, but we don't mind go out of our way, just to take our car to Smythe Volvo for services and maintenance!!Frances

I recently purchased a used XC70. The vehicle was immaculate, and at a price far better than any other similar vehicles on the internet. I traded in a hi mileage V70. The trade in value was less than hoped for, but in sum, the entire deal was very fair. A good overall experience and would recommend Smythe Volvo to others.

I have bought all my Volvos, both used and new from Smythe. I have dealt with Chris Henriksen for my last four Volvo purchase and have been a Volvo owner and part of the Smythe family for over 25 years. I would recommend them highly for a new or used car purchase. As to used cars, a Smythe serviced Volvo is always a good bet as you know what you are getting. Smythe is honest and responsive to its customers and Chris is highly recommended without reservation.

This is my third Volvo purchased from Smythe... 3 out of 4. I did not immediately choose a Volvo for replacement of my 13 year old wagon since there have been so many changes across all brands since then. I did a lot of analysis online comparing features, cargo space, and cost of ownership. The Volvo wagon just can't be beat for space and features. I got pricing from others and headed to Smythe. Their first price was lower. With their track record of great service on my other two cars, purchasing from them was an easy decision. Every person I met with, from the sales staff to service to finance, were polite... it's obvious they appreciate their customers. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a Volvo.

We have purchased 3 separate cars from this dealership and have been extremely pleased with our experience at Smythe. However, recently we went to take a look at the most recent cars after doing some research online. I was excited to see all that Volvo had to offer until Kristian came over to help us. He was unenthusiastic about the cars we were interested in and had trouble providing us with basic facts about the some of the new technology features. After about 10 or 15 minutes we we're completely turned off by the cars we were considering. His description of the Volvo company and cars we were interested in came off very unprofessional, unenthusiastic, and uninterested. Upon leaving the dealership both my wife and myself were convinced we would not be purchasing another Volvo. Although a great company this employee has destroyed their reputation for us.

The problem was promptly identified; the special parts were ordered and I was given an appointment that met my schedule. On the appointed day, the work was done promptly and professionally and they were kind enough to check and adjust my tire pressure.
