It took 2.5 weeks to get my car from the dealership, one week was lost just waiting for the finance guy to send my papers to the bank. After that it appeared that he did send anything waiting for my insurance card when he explicitly told me that the card would be required only on pickup time. They promised to give me a compensation for the lost week but never replied back to me again. It is already 2+ weeks now from the pickup date and I still wait for papers from the bank and still don't know where to pay for my credit. Nevertheless I'm happy with the car.

Just have to share…..we bought the “hot off the boat” 2022 Outlander SEL today at South Coast Mitsubishi. The entire experience was amazing! We were greeted warmly, treated fairly, respected and our desires honored as they worked with us to find the perfect vehicle. Having bought many new cars previously this was by far the best! No pressure but a sincere willingness to help us find the perfect vehicle for our needs! Cannot say enough about this dealership and their employees! Next car we need, we WILL be back!

This is the second car I purchased from South Coast Mitsubishi. I love my car, and the service here is great. They go out of their way in the Service Department. I got my first oil change at no charge even though I went over the miles. I am very grateful.

Just wanted to thank Sam Smash and staff for a very pleasant experience purchasing my new Evo. Shopped around and visited other Mitsubishi stores and felt at ease here at South Coast Mitsubishi. I guess some places won't take a woman serious if she wants to buy an Evo. Sam answered all of my questions and loving my new car. Thanks again !!! See you for my 1st service

My process started out of state, as all the dealerships in Arizona didn't have the Wicked White Evolution GSR I wanted. I also wanted to get the Sight and Sound package on this car, and that was a big selling point for me. After contacting multiple dealerships and searching the country, I found that there was only 1 left in the nation and that it was at South Coast Mitsubishi. I called and I got Munshi. This is where the whole process went downhill very quickly. Most of our conversations was through text so I have time stamps and the text itself all recorded for this review as well.I was ready to buy the same day that I called which was 4/15, however my salesman Munshi wanted me to get preapproved, which I understood. I submitted that all same day at 4/15 5:31PM.Didn't hear anything from him for an entire day so I texted him at 8:35AM on 4/16 seeing if there is anything he needed from me, and he responded and told me he would have everything done so we could get the ball rolling the next day, next day being 4/17.Next time I heard from him was at 11:03AM 4/17 confirming the car I wanted to purchase, which was the 2014 GSR with the Sight & Sound, Navigation, interior upgrade, and wheel locks. I texted him again at 1:03 on 4/17 to see if there was any news and he told me that his boss was working on the numbers and he would get back to me once he got the numbers finished. He then texted me at 4:03PM on 4/17 and sent me the per month price for someone elses car. Quickly after doing so apologized and gave me the actual payments per month. Soon after, I texted him back and asked him to give me a price breakdown of everything after taxes so I could see it instead of just that monthly number. Munshi told me that his boss, E has to print it so he would have to wait. I understood and gave him my email.I didn't hear anything from him so I texted him at 6:20PM on 4/17 asking if we were still waiting of the numbers, Munshi replied the next day on 4/18 at 10:08PM saying that his phone wasn't working and confirmed monthly payments yet again with me. Feeling that there was a disconnect, I asked Munshi for an itemized breakdown and total sent to my email so I could review and we could move forward. I didn't hear from him all day and sent another text without a response.I then texted Munshi at 4/19 1:22PM telling him that I was ready to move forward and that I haven't heard from him. He texted me back with an invoice/MSRP breakdown of pricing which wasn't what I was asking for. I then asked for an updated invoice as that one didn't include navigation, and wanted to confirm the exact breakdown that I was looking for.I didn't hear anything from him so I texted Munshi on 4/20 11:37AM. His boss then wanted me to send him a copy of my drivers license and copy of insurance to his bosss Gmail, which I thought was odd but no problem. They were sent on 4/20 at 12:54PM. Munshi then texted me back and confirmed colors with me, and then sent me a picture of the breakdown which didn't include the things I was asking for, just yet again the total price broken down into monthly payments. I texted him back and asked for the breakdown again on 4/20 at 3:00PM. He said that he would send it, and then got a call from him at 4:33PM saying that his phone was broken and he couldn't respond but that he would be able to contact me at about 7PM later in the day. I didn't hear back from him at all that day.So I then sent him a text on 4/21 at 6:11AM letting him know that I was still waiting for the breakdown. He texted me back and asked me to call him. Because of my job, I can respond fairly quickly via email or text, just not as easy through calling. So I told him that he could just email me or text me the breakdown so that we could move forward, rather than going through it over the phone. He then texted me the breakdown at 10:46AM 04/21. There was markup on the vehicle to which I texted him back at 12:46PM saying that if he could take that off, I would be ready to move forward with the deal. He told me his boss, Eric, cleared it shortly after, and I texted back at 04/21 1:05PM saying that I have my own financing moving forward. Munshi wanted to check if they could get a better deal for me than my banks APR however that he couldn't beat it on 4/21 at 2:32PM.Everything on my end was good moving forward, I followed up at 2:55PM on 4/21 to see if there was anything else he needed from me to secure the deal, Munshi then texts me asking for me to call him. He informs me over the phone that there is someone willing to pay cash, 12k over MSRP to secure this car. He told me that he will work with his manager as I have been trying to secure this car for a while, but he wasn't sure what he could do.I then get a text at 3:13PM telling me that he has good and bad news. The bad news that they are selling it to this person that just walked in offering 12k over MSRP. The good news being that they have 2 more in the lot, but not the color I want. Also one that is white without the Sight and Sound package. This was more than troubling and everyone who I talked to about this situation was just as dumbfounded as I was. I quickly reached out to another dealership to see if there was any other cars that I could secure however it seemed that there wasn't. I told Munshi I didn't know if I wanted to continue, however he called me shortly and as deflated as I was, I told him if I didn't pay any markup on the basic model just as we agreed on, I would go through him. I wish I was smarter and stopped the entire process looking back on it.Later on in the day, at 6:44PM on 4/21, Munshi tells me that I need to make a deposit for the car to make sure they hold it. I quickly do as they have already sold a car out from under me, and he confirms that it's secured at 7:06PM that night. Munshi explained to me that once the car was bought the deposit on the car would be refunded no problem.I worked with my bank and on 4/22 2:18PM and they had documents that they wanted them to send over. He worked with them and I asked about the add-ons that we talked about before with no response.I don't hear from him so I text him on 4/23 at 10:44AM to confirm with him, however he said he couldn't confirm anything until tomorrow and would get back to me. I also got overnight paper work with pricing that we didn't agree on as it included a $2,000 markup, and the total didnt add up as there was a $200 which my bank pointed out to me later on, as well as all the other paperwork that I needed to sign. I held off on that and decided I would talk to my bank/South Coast Mitsubishi about it the next day.On 4/24 I send a text letting him know that we needed to get the wire transfer done before a certain time as the day was Friday, and the wire transfer would have to be done by then, or we would have to wait till Monday. Munshi understood and would make sure we got that taken care of. I also asked about the pricing on the paper that they had sent me but he explained that he wasn't sure, but that he would ask his boss. He then asked me to call him and explained that my bank would be able to explain the charges and to confirm with them.Once I got to the bank and with my banker Tonya, who was absolutely fantastic through this process, began to tell me that they would in fact be charging markup on the car, however one of Mitsubishi's factory rebates would make it so it didn't cost me anything. I explained over the phone to Munshi's boss, Eric who was the finance manager, which I and Munshi had agreed that I wouldn't be paying for any markup on the vehicle. Eric said that wouldn't ever happen and that I would have to pay markup for it. Frustrated Tonya and I explained to Eric this was agreed upon but Eric still refused to honor what Munshi promised. Due to this being the last step in the process and me being excited overall, I chose to move forward even though I was lied to about the price. Eric said that he would help me with $200 on something to the car, such as wheel locks I wanted, to make up for the mystery charge so they wouldnt have to resend the paper work and further delay the deal, however unsurprisingly that never happened either.Frustrated but eager to purchase one of my dream cars, I decided that I would move forward even with the extra markup. I wire transferred the money and we were set. I contacted Munshi and asked for an ETA on the delivery on 4/24 at 7:37 PM so I could set my delivery company up to pick up the car. Munshi explained to me that because of some of the packages I wanted, the car was being worked on and he wouldn't have an ETA until that was done.I don't hear from Munshi so I texted him at 4/26 11:17AM explaining that my company did have some trucks in the area so I needed to know if we could setup a time to pick up.I still don't hear from Munshi and I follow up with a text on 4/27 9:02AM asking what the status of the car is. Munshi then explains to me that South Coast Mitsubishi wasn't able to verify funds, so I reached out to Tonya, and they faxed the confirmation to South Coast Mitsubishi, and directly to Eric.I then follow up with Munshi later in the day 4/27 12:01PM to confirm that South Coast Mitsubishi was able to confirm everything with the bank. Munshi explains to me that it hasn't hit their account, even though the money was gone from my account. I then reached out again to my bank, who again verified payment with South Coast Mitsubishi so we could get a delivery time setup for my company to pick up the car.I don't hear anything from Munshi, so I reach out again to him on 4/28 at 12:31PM confirming that everything has been confirmed for them, and to make sure the parts were all installed. Tonya also asked for all the paperwork to be sent with the car so that I would be able to register it when I got the car, such as the Title. Munshi said he would check and he would be right back. I don't hear from him for a couple of hours, so I text him at 2:13PM on 4/28, no response.I then text him again on 4/29 at 3:27PM to again check on the status of the car, Munshi explains that the parts are installed however that I couldn't pick it up because he needed two "Go's" from two mangers, and Eric had gone to Vegas for the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight, so that I would have to wait at least until Thursday. I also asked about the deposit that I had given them, as it hasn't come back to me, Munshi told me that it would be refunded but at the end of the month, and that he didn't have any control of that.I setup a pickup with my delivery company for 5/1, as that would give time for the car to be ready and the big "Go's" from the managers. I then get a call at 2:39PM from my pickup company that South Coast Mitsubishi again somehow couldnt confirm payment and that they were refusing the pickup of the car. I called Munshi and he said that it is good to go for pickup, and also states that his boss, Eric, is right next to him so he could verify, but that I should give his boss Eric a call even though he is physically sitting right next to him.I try and call Eric but I am told by another salesman on the phone he is on the phone with a bank and couldn't be reached. I leave a message, and send an email to Eric saying that if the car isn't on the back of the truck by the end of the day I would like to move back on the deal. Very quickly after that email, I get a text from Munshi saying that the car has left South Coast Mitsubishiand it's on its way.The car was then delivered with tons of hard water stains on the rear of the car, not only that but South Coast Mitsubishi didn't send the title with the car so I didnt have any way of actually registering the car itself. I asked the driver if that was there when he picked up the car and he said that the watermarks were indeed there. I also noticed that the car didnt even have a full tank of gas, and only had 5 miles of range for me to put gas into it. I reached out to my bank and had a conference call with the bank and Eric. He said that the title was put in the car but yet it was nowhere to be found. Eric unapologetically told me that they will overnight the documents to me.I also started to look through the car to see if there was any upgrades that Eric promised me would be on the car, however I didnt get the interior upgrade, or the wheel locks I asked for.You would think that I would be done dealing with South Coast Mitsubishi at this point, but of course this is just positive thinking.I continued to call South Coast Mitsubishi to get my $1,000 deposit I put on the car. I even texted Munshi saying that I would be disputing the charge with American Express since they weren't willing to refund the money. Munshi responded and said that it was out of his control but it was also rude to text him which floored me as I was still out a extra $1,000 for the deposit.I pushed to talk to a manager above Eric as he was absolutely no help. I finally got into contact with Chuck and Allan, who was even less of a help. In talking to both of them, they explained that I was [B]lucky[B] that I only had to pay $2,000 in markup and that they can't help me out with the parts that were in writing. Not only that but they realized that they still needed to refund me and didn't apologize for any of the experience or the deposit refund. After 2-3 days, I finally did get the refund however getting a "no hassle" deposit back shouldn't be this hard with any business.Frustrated I contacted the Better Business Bureau and emailed Mitsubishi's company HQ's. The Better Business Bureau reports them as a D- company, which isn't surprising after my experience. Mitsubishi HQ did respond with this"Thank you for your email to Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) regarding the unsatisfactory sales experience. It is never our intention to have anyone less than completely satisfied with any aspect of his or her Mitsubishi ownership experience. I apologize for any inconvenience the situation you described may have caused you and understand how frustrated you must feel. Please be advised that all authorized Mitsubishi dealerships are independently owned and operated. As such, they engage in the retail sales and service of Mitsubishi products for their own account, and not as agents of Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc.After carefully reading your email it seems you are in touch with the Managers of South Coast Mitsubishi we would recommend to continue working with the Managers, if you havent done so already we also recommend speaking with the GM whom has the highest authority at the dealership Mr. Abbas Ahmadi.Thank you again for your comments, and we certainly hope that you will do business with Mitsubishi Motors in the future."After receiving this I tried to contact South Coast Mitsubishi and get in touch with Mr. Abbas who as you read is the GM of South Coast Mitsubishi, as well as the GM for most of the Mitsubishi dealerships in that area. Unfortunately, when I called the number they gave me which was "714-545-1700" the standard number of South Coast Mitsubishi, I asked for Mr. Abbas however was transferred to Chuck again who interrogated me on why I wanted to talk to Mr. Abbas and told me that he wasn't in so I would have to contact them later. I called back about 10 minutes later and instead asked if Mr. Abbas was in. I was told he was but that he was just on the phone at the moment. I asked to wait but again was transferred to Chuck. Not only that but through this process of climbing the ladder I quickly found out that both Munshi and Eric had been fired, no one would tell me if it was because of my experience which I doubt it was. I would assume that a business would want to make things right for how I was treated, and that they had to fire employees but of course not.Overall, this has hands down been one of the worst, and longest car buying experiences I or anyone I talk to have ever heard of. I asked a couple of friends who not only work at dealerships, but that have owned dealerships and they are absolutely floored by how horrendous South Coast Mitsubishi made this whole experience. I wanted to make this review as detailed as possible so there aren't any questions and there are just facts. I also have all the texts and pictures of the following issues that happened. I know that the rule of thumb is, "if it's not in writing, it's not happening" but I never thought I would have to record every conversation we had for $50 dollar wheel locks. If you are looking to buy a new Evolution, or any Mitsubishi car for that matter, don't buy from South Coast Mitsubishi. They will lie to you and once they get your money, South Coast Mitsubishi will run.

These guys are scammers. Don't ever lease a car from them. Don't buy an extended warranty from them. They will take your money and leave you out in the cold. Awful people, awful service. These guys are just rotten. The Evo is an amazing car. Get it from another dealer. For the record, the people who own this dealership are also involved with Surf City Corp. Bazoft Automotive II dba Cerritos Mitsubishi and Victorville Mitsubishi. Watch out for any business involving Abbas Ahmadi AKA Gholam Abbas Baahmadi.

Well, we bought the Mirage because we had done our research and for the money for a car for the kid it was the thing to do. The car is nice and we like it, but this dealership is a nightmare. My mistake was not reading the reviews of this place. Yike, what a nasty vibe; what creepy place. The sales guy was ok. The guy that the site indicated that we should actually talk to (Eric) basically refused to talk to us even though we were there with cash in hand to buy the car. They played every game in the book with the price and the facility was uncomfortably hot. They are obviously aware of this because every office has table fans (pointed at the salesperson, not the buyer), though the sales guy express amazement when I said it was really hot in there. The sales guy would leave us in this sweltering room and go off to "go to bat for us" getting the price that the website had already told us that we could get. We could actually see them just standing behind the plexiglass partition just shooting the breeze while we sweated and waited. We were the only people buying anything on a weekday afternoon. They were not busy. A particularly nice touch was their non-refrigerated soda machine that for $1 offered blazing hot exploding cans of soda. I am convinced that this is no mistake. Then he would come back and hem and haw for a bit. They even audaciously offered us a used Mirage for basically full pop. (I think he thought we were really that dumb!) The guy was whining about how they only make $500 off of this car. (a.) Thats not true, and (b.) thats not my problem even if it were true, and (c.) if that is true then why do you have over a 100 of them on your lot? Anyway, having driven over an hour to get there we just ponied up and bought the car - which again is not the problem, and our son really likes it. What they didnt realize is that we had actually also come to look at a far more expensive Mitsubishi for Dad as well but quickly decided not to even bother with these people. In fact we bought a Subaru (at a great dealer!) later that very same day. I am glad that we wont have to go to these guys for service because you can just imagine what that would be like. So, one thing I learned is that if you get a great price from certain websites that I wont mention and they direct you to this dealership. Dont go there! Just print out your stuff and go to a dealership that isnt rated beware and they will probably match it and you will have saved yourself a miserable transaction.

I should have researched South Coast Mitsubishi customer experiences before driving 12 hours round trip only to be disappointed. Unless you HAVE TO HAVE a particular car from South Coast Mitsubishi then my advice is to look elsewhere and avoid the dealership and their GM Eric like the plague. My son was searching for a 1996 Porsche 911 993 C2 Coupe and found a used 1996 model for sale at South Coast Mitsubishi. Together we sat down and made a list of questions to ask over the phone so we could make an informed decision to drive 12 hours round trip to look at and possibly drive home this car. We called and asked to speak with the Sales Manager. Eric picked up the phone. I introduced myself and that I was interested in the Porsche they had listed. Since I lived in the Phoenix areas I had a few questions to ask before committing to the long drive. Eric said, "I can help you with that. What do you want to know?". Our questions were simple and basic. So were Eric's responses. Here's what I recorded during our conversation: Q. Is this a clean or salvage title? A. Clean title. Q. Does it run well? A. Yes. Q. Does it have any engine leaks? A. No. Q. Is the paint/body clean? Any repairs, damage, evidence of repainting, rust? A. No. but it does have a slight door ding in one panel. Q. Do the interior controls work/function normally? Stereo work? A/C work? Sunroof work? A. Everything works Eric was very pleasant answering these questions over the phone. He even emailed me an Auto Check report. Satisfied with Eric's answers, we made the trip from Phoenix to Costa Mesa. Upon arrival we were greeted and handed the Porsche keys so we could inspect it. It didn't take long to figure out we were scammed by Eric. The Porsche front/rear bumpers paint did not match the body paint. The bumpers looked like they were painted in the parking lot with a spray can with overspray on the fender liners and exterior trim and mis-fitted as though involved in an earlier accident. Rust was visible on the exterior passenger side. The stereo was dead. The sunroof was broken. The factory alarm system did not respond normally. Even had some aftermarket DIY wire patching in the fuse box and on the dash. Generally lots of disappointment everywhere we looked. BTW I am very familiar with 993's having owned one for the last 10 years and a member of the Porsche Club. Again - Unless you HAVE TO HAVE a particular car from South Coast Mitsubishi then my advice is to look elsewhere and avoid the dealership and their GM Eric like the plague.

financed inhouse on a car that was in a flood or otherwise somehow became rusted on the underside of dash and seats etc. required 1100 in repairs to get it to pass somg and three weeks later its check engine light is on again the mpg is getting worse it was one of a few cars theyd finance me with poor credit upon. only, when i asked about the condition i got a lecture about not being difficult when being done a favor or otherwise being financed where and when other institutions simply would not extended an offer in my case- i did not however see that id be taken advantage of ten times more than the typical customer at the mitsubishi superstores aka bazoft auto the owners of scm in coasta mesa associated with a handful of other so cal mitsu dealers operated by the parent org. Bazoft Auto who rips off consumers habitually engaging in offensively innapporopriate and certainly unethical unlawful and seemingly without respect for client..... human decency. it even began to appear (to others whom without my solicitation or inquiry of any experiences shared) at times that particular attention and energy was directly concentrated in agitating and doing the most messed up stuff to people over and over- pathetically underhanded with employee posted false reviews scoring brownie points for new hires- the finance guy left the company in days fallowing my initial incident - he was replaced by someone new whom is made to believe what management says and does is without the slghtest of fraud which is difficult since she thinks shes doing me a favor every time we speak for payment of my outstanding loan ..... dont get duped by efforts to smooth over wrongful illegal practices with decent transactions stuck in every few weeks if that.... ill never recover the thousands of dollars, the stress of being fraud ed by an est. entity bearing a name like Mitsubishi - My worst nightmare and everyones worst auto buying fears came true thanks to the work they do damages being done on several levels monetary/emotional distress/domestic controversy constantly stems from this circumstance that also resulted in the loss of a job for which transportation was purchased on my part - not knowing the pending events leading me to such actions as these -and or pursuing litigation on the basis of auto fraud by dealer facing plenty of civil judgements not generating restitution of loses sustained.... in consequence of their outrageously appalling antics to which im continually subjected to seemingly without acceptable response or recourse. Wow. I am going to try to forget this now to keep out of further outrage.... Peace?

I bought a vehicle at this dealership and negotiated a price..once I went in to sign the paperwork, a scam artist named Eric told me that I had to buy a Lo-Jack for my vehicle at $995.00 otherwise I could not take the car.. I told him I didn't want this system and his reply was that it was already installed in the car as they install this system in all their vehicles for sale and I had no choice but to pay this extra money. Under duress I signed this as I just wanted to complete the sale and go home. I later learned that Mercedes Benz has their own factory installed vehicle theft deterrent and I didn't need to get a LoJack. Needless to say, there was no LoJack installed as Eric told me. What they do is they make you pay the $995.00 then get someone to install this equipment for a couple of hundred dollars. When I tried to cancel this additional expense I kept getting the run around telling me they would call me back. I finally sent a certified letter demanding my money back and they have ignored me. I will be filing a small claims case against them once my daughter finishes her cancer treatment as I don't have the time or in a place emotionally that I can go and fight with these crooks. It has been 5 months since this incident and they have my $995.00. Additionally, I am having problems with the car making noises and the Mercedes dealer is telling me this car must have been in a rear end collision just never made on the CarMax. Mercedes will not repair the problem. Also, I left my car there overnight when I drove off with the Mercedes and they placed a cone on top of the car and the moisture took the clear cover off of the paint and they also refused to acknowledge that. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone.

The dealership is tired and depressing. We were left alone for a long time while the sales lady went to "see what her manager could do". When I went to find them...they were both on their phones and chatting. We left immediately. Not sure what these sales tactics were but I find them insulting. The sales lady was sweet but her experience was limited...she had no clue about their service department and whether they would provide a loaner car. There was very little enthusiasm to come to a deal.We were seriously considering the Outlander Sport (we ultimately ended up buying a VW Tiguan for $24k - that's $9k more than we originally planned to spend)

I started my search for the my new Evo X about 3 months ago, and every time I would searched for available inventory anywhere west of the Mississippi I was always led to South Coast Mitsubishi. Not only did they appear to have the best inventory around, but they also seemed to have the best pricing as well. As I reached out to to the dealership for the first time I was introduced to Bernard. Bernard never failed to answer my questions and always followed up when appropriate. After about a month I made my purchase and I couldn't be happier with my decision. If you get the chance ask for Bernard, he won't let you down. The entire team out in SCM made this an absolutely world class experience. THANK YOU SOUTH COAST MITSUBISHI!

Bought a used car from this dump of dealership last year. We should have noticed the red flags right away in the front of the dealership they are displaying anything but Mitsubishi vehicles and the loud gangster rap that was playing in the lobby. After having the car for a short time I needed to trade it in and was told by not one, but TWO dealerships that multiple panel vin numbers were missing and or scratched off, basically the exterior of the car was taken apart and put back together without the original panels and not told at time of purchase. Needless to say this made the trade in value EXTREMELY LOW. Buyers beware and stay away, especially from Eric (GM) and Chris (sales manager).

6/18/2012 South Coast Mitsubishi located at: 2680 Harbor Blvd. Costa Mesa Ca. Sold me a non renderable service that was a 2 year warranty in the amount of $2000.0 I purchased a 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 with a after market suspension package and other after market parts. Finance Manager Alex explained this to me and I had no problem with this, actually really liked the car just the way it was. He then offered me a extended warranty plan stating that the warranty would cover the vehicle in case a mechanical break down and other unseen future possible issues. I purchased a warranty issued by: Warranty Solutions in the amount of $2000.00 Per-owned 3 Star Plus Little did I know that the same day I signed the warranty contract it voided it self out because the warranty I purchased dose not cover modified cars with aftermarket parts I have been paying for a non renderable service. 2 moths ago I called Warranty Solutions to acquire information in the case I would have to file a claim and get use of this service. Warranty solutions call center asked me if my car had been modified or lowered and of course I said yes they then told me that my car would not be covered at all due to the fact that it had been lowered prior to purchase. I confronted the dealer in person about this issue, Alex made it sound like I did not know what I was talking about, nor did they offer me any compensation.

South Coast Mitsubishi: Sales person Mariana; Manager EricSituation: Car Stereo SystemsThis has been awhile, date might not be correct on some parts. People that are involved or are the key witness is my cousin Josie, my brother Daniel, a friend of mine Kyle and myself.I purchased my Lancer GT at South Coast Mitsubishi dealer. Thursday- 12/20/12 Sales person who I dealt with was Mariana. The entire time I was with her she was very rude and always on her phone texting. She didn't seem interest in selling me the vehicle in the first place. Took a few car for a test drive, she was on her phone being rude. Never smiling and just condescending. When she was pricing my car I told her hey the stereo system is not part of the car, that I had the original car stereo. She responded oh ok that she got it. During the whole time being with her, such as test driving the car and finalizing the paperwork, I told her about the stereo system multiple times. I stated to her numerous time of the car system, the entire time I was worried about it. I stated it to her in front of my cousin, my brother and my friend Kyle about the car system to be removed and not sold. In front of the three people that I brought along with me she stated not to worry about it, that she has it handled.I was worried that it would be sold. Bought the car, left the place but before I left the place I reminded her about the system she said she has a list down and don't worry I should have it by this weekend. Call her up on the weekend she saying that they don't have it yet. I was a little confused because she kept changing her stories. I said that's was fine that I'll come by on Thursdays because it was Christmas that week. Went on Thursday 12/27/12 with the Stock radio from the Eclipse and said they don't have my stereo. I'm like why don't you have my stereo; Mariana stated that because my Eclipse my previous car was in the shop. I said thats fine, than I gave her the stock stereos for the Eclipse. Then she proceeded to ask and to write down everything that I needed out of the Eclipse. This was the third time they ask me about it. I was thought to myself this doesn't make sense I thought she already did all that when I bought the Lancer. I'm already frustrated by now. So I decided to check on it next time. I called up the next week on Tuesday and see what's up she stated oh give me your number and I'll call you back up. 4 to 6 hours go by and nothing. So I decided to text her "Hey Mariana, what's the status on my stereo. I got a text back "who this?" I stated back the only person that probably been talking you about a stereo for the last 2 weeks. She never responded back. Around two hours later I decided to go to the dealer and deal with the situation and everything went downhill from there. From here on out I dealt with the Manager named Eric. He was dealing with the situation now, I told him the issues and he stated that he would help that they will do their best to get it back. He said he will give us a call back. This is one routine that they kept doing, write down your number and call you back. I didnt see the point because they never did call back. This is very upsetting not only did they take my system that was installed my Eclipse they also took my stock stereo. They stole my second one ad never return it. Also they lied about my car stereo system going to be return to me. Not today is May 16, 2013 and nothing has been resolved.

I purchased a Mitsubishi Outlander ES from on March 3, 2013, and I am very happy for having purchased it from this dealership. They worked to give me a fair price on both my trade-in and the car that I purchased.I highly recommend anyone interested in purchasing a Mitsubish visit this dealership and ask specifically for Marianna and Eric, whom I purchased my own car from. They were both transparent and courteous throughout the entire transaction. Their approach was more consultative than salesman-like. They will help you find the right car within your budget. Moreover, their outstanding customer service continued after my purchase, when Marianna actually helped me set up the blue-tooth in my new vehicle. I am impressed with the quality of service and consideration from these two employees. Highly recommended!

Had a horrible experience buying a 'certified' used car from this dealer. I figured buying a Mitsubishi from a Mitsubishi dealer would be problem free, but I was proven completely wrong. The car I purchased from them was in the show multiple times within the first 6 months. Let alone the fact that they tried to sell me the car with BALD tires. Ended up having to sell the car within the first year, costing me thousands of dollars. Once again BEWARE of these scammers and do not give them your precious business.

I purchased a 2000 Jeep Cherokee from this dealer with only 71,900 miles. The price was the best I found after looking on the internet for 3 weeks. They really took good care of us, detailed the car and repaired a broken lock on the hatch, only charging us for their cost of the part. The salesmen were very helpful and the finance process went very quickly.

We had a very good experience at the dealership. Jon was our sales manager and Eric was our financial manager, both very helpful. We got a really great deal on a new Outlander with 3d seat and 4wd. Then they offered a top dollar for our 2 trade-ins and as the result we went ahead and bought another Outlander sport (2d car in 5 days) from them. Also, quite an incredible deal. They have the flexibility and do not make you tired with the application process, no pressure. Everything went quick (although we did spent some time bargaining, and we got what we wanted :)).

I purchased a used BMW and have not had any problems with it. Remember, purchasing a used vehicle always runs some risk, so do your homework prior to negotiating with the dealership. I confirmed my vehicle had not been in an accident, I confirmed my car was in good running condition by having my personal mechanic check it out. You have to take some accountability and have all your bases covered prior to going in. I have a great car, got a great price and would highly recommend So. Do not EVER buy a car from here. Bought a car on December 30th. They offered me a really good deal, but before I bought the car, I checked on all repairs that needed to be done and verified multiple times that the vehicle had no frame damage, by word and through Auto Check. I also told the dealership that I wanted an extended warranty on this car. If one wasn't available, I wouldn't buy the car. They told me they had one, and sold it to me. Multiple issues have arrived soon after. The due bill was not properly completed. For the life of me, I don't know how you can mistake the cause of a driveline shaft. They said it was a misbalanced wheel. Turns out it's loose engine and transmission mounts. Since I had no faith in their service department shortly after that, I took it to an independent mechanic to repair through use of the extended warranty. Find out that the warranty turned down the repairs because the warranty was never put into effect. I was real upset and talked with Eric about it, who said he would get it handled. Two weeks later, he says there is no extended warranty available for the car. This really infuriated me. The owner, Abbas Ahmadi (NOT Chuck Bien), said he would make the warranty happen. We resubmitted the paperwork for the warranty. A week later, it comes back again denied. At this point, I wanted them to take the car back and give me my money back. The sales contract shows an extended warranty, which can not be given to me. I gave them a total of 3 and a half months to get it resolved, and they didn't. Eric kept dragging on, saying that it would take time to get it authorized by the owner. At the end of it, he said they wouldn't take the car back, but they would take it in as a trade in. I insisted this was unacceptable. Eric tried to make it sound like I did something wrong and that it was my fault. They said that 'as a favor' they would by the car back for $5000 below was the payoff was and that was their final option. I was also told by a different sales manager from the Victorville store, who was temporarily at South Coast for the day, that the owner would not talk to me, and that if this issue escalated, it would involve Chuck Bien, who is the CFO and the company's attorney. I did some research and found no evidence that Chuck Bien is an attorney nor is he accredited with any state bar. Now I have a car with no warranty, which I paid for, repairs that were never done correctly, AND to top it off, the car had frame damage, which apparently was repaired. This was lied about. Long story short, I haven't driven the car since they refused to help me, and I won't because the car can't be repaired among other reasons. It's going to be a long legal headache for me, but now it's the principle of the matter. Don't buy a car here, new or used. Period.

Sales manager Chris seems to be friendly at first but then shows his true colors which is bad. Guy isn't willing to negotiate, his way or the highway. Talked about how they need to sell vehicles so that they can pay their bills yet isn't willing to sell me a vehicle at a reasonable price. I asked if he could email me and said he would within 5 minutes but never did do so. Avoid this dealership and the sales "manager" who claims he needs to sell vehicles but really doesn't want to.

I purchased a toyota hylander hybrid from this dealership because i was having really bad car problems, i gave $2000 dollars down and to get the car i needed to pay $1500 more so i asked for 30 days to pay the rest, after 3 days of having the car i received a statement from my bank with an overdraft fee of $35 dollars, since it was too late i waited till the next day to call Eric the sales manager, he told me over the phone that in the end there was a problem with financing the car and i needed to find a coosigner even though i specifically told them from the start what my situation was so i asked him what would be the next step and he said that i needed to return the car, i asked if i had to be there at a certain time but he said no, that i could stop at any time and all i needed to do was fill out some papper work and i was going to get my deposit back. I work at Venice Beach, i live in East LA, and the dealership is all the way to Costa Mesa, since i was going to return the car, after work i head home to pick up my wife and i also asked my father to follow us in his car so he could help us get back home, when we arrived the first thing they asked for was the keys and right away they went to inspect the car they had me wait for about half an hour just to hear from Eric say that his office was closed and that he wasnt able to write me a check at the moment but he promised that the next day it was going to be available, i didnt wanted to be rude even though he said a different thing over the phone so i asked him if i had to call him directly but he said that it wasnt necessary, that he was going to email everyone, so if i called they should know about my case. The next day i called to see st what time my money was going to be ready only to find out that Eric was on vacation and that they could not help me until he got back which was going to be on a week or so, i thought it was a joke but they were serious, i asked to get his phone number or for them to call him but they said it was not possible to call back four days later to see "IF" he was back. At this point am only getting more frustrated over the fact that Eric lied to me. He could had atleast told me an exact day to bring the car back or told me about his vacation or tons of diferent things that he could had done, am pretty sure i could had understood but to lie? Thats extremly rude. I had called over and over to get help from someone else so i found out that the person i needed to talk to was Chuck the supervisor i believe, it took me 2 days to finally get a hold of him and in the end he said he was going to call me back tomorow and that he needed to wait for Eric to get back to see what was happening. ( Am still wondering, DONT THEY HAVE CELL PHONES? ) From the start they have made me waste money, gas, minutes from my cell phone, and specially time. When i gave the downpayment i paid it cash from the start and when they told me to bring the car i went in as fast as posible as soon as i got out of work so i dont see why i have to be chasing people down just to get back my money, at this moment am still confused on whats going on and am stuck with no money and my old car with alot of mechanical problems. I wish there was a place to call to comment about the way they treat their customers.

This is my review for the Service Department. Worst service ever. I took my car for an oil leak. I spoke with Steve Grove the service tech. He told me that they needed to replace the valve cover gasket and a few "o" rings so that the leak on my 2002 Mitsubishi Spyder would stop. He called me back with the estimate and it was about 1300. I said WOW!!! but ok I have to get my car fix so I said ok. I got it back a few days after. Once at home I noticed it was still leaking so I talk to the service Manager Gary Dencklau, that was a waste of time. I told him my car is still leaking oil and I payed over 1,000 dollars. He said well we only replace the parts that looked more common for an oil leak. I told him, that's nice but Steve said everything was ok and that there wasn't any more leaks. Gary (Manager) says well " I'm not a mind reader to know where all the oil leaks are at". I said well I took it for an oil leak and the leak is still there. Gary says well I guess your going to need additional work done. I said ok, at your cost because if I brought it in for an oil leak, and it's still leaking oil, then what the hell was all that money I payed for then? He said once again he wasn't a mind reader and that he wasn't responsible for that since they replaced what they thought was the oil leak at that time. I said you gotta be kidding me. He said he wasn't going to help me out and tuff luck. I said ok, well I'm going to report you to the business bureau. He said well do what you gotta do. I couldn't believe my ears. I tried to do the right thing by taking it to a Mitsubishi Dealer and then they blow me off once they have taken all my money. These guys are a bunch of thieves. This is my first time writing a review, just because I wonder if they have done this to anybody else. I spoke to a friend that is a lawyer and he definitely told me to report this type of problem to the BUREAU OF AUTOMOTIVE REPAIRS. People do not get fooled. If any of you have had a problem with this dealer go ahead and check out the website for the BUREAU OF AUTOMOTIVE REPAIRS maybe they can help you out. BEWARE OF GARY DENCKLAU (SERVICE MANAGER) he doesn't care who he screws over. Hopefully this review can help many of you. I am also getting a lawyer, reporting it to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, AND THE BUREAU OF AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR. Don't be a victim to this type of crime. Knowledge is power.

This dealer is the worst dealer I have ever been to. The car has a guarantee on the window they handed me an as is paper at the time of sale. They attempted to increase the final sales price 10 minutes after we had agreed on a time. They refused to put the agreed to repairs in writing. When I insisted they gave me a hand written note on a piece of paper signed by some dude. Not on letter head no title on the paper nothing I was ready to walk away! They finally agreed to put the repairs on the bill of sale after a long argument!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. ILL NEVER FORGET HOW THIS DEALER MADE ME FEEL. THEY ARE UNETHICAL CREEPY AND CROOKED. If you are looking to buy car, all I can say is...Dont go to south coast mitsubishi! They were trying to sell me a car that wouldnt pass smog and expected me to pay for it. But thats not the worst part. The sales person was not helpful at all, he was not interested in selling a car. Didnt even try to deal the price one bit. Asked him if I could speak to his manager and he simply said "No he's too busy to deal with customers." Never once tried to ask or see if indeed if the manager is busy or even there. Then i told him to call me when the car passes smog so i can sign the papers and buy. three days later i had to call because i didnt hear from them. I felt like i was selling the car to myself. In the end all I can say if you dont want headaches buying a car, and you wanna be treated right like an actual customer, go to a different dealer!!

On September 16th I called South Coast Mitsubishi and told them I was interested in coming down and looking at a 2007 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner they had in their stock. I showed up later at around 6:00pm and test drove the truck. During the test drive the salesman informed me about the passenger side speaker not working and ensured me this issue would be fixed if I were to purchase the vehicle. When we got back from the test drive I told him I wanted to purchase the vehicle and would be paying cash for it but I had to wait for a check to clear to pay the whole vehicle in full so I paid with a $10,000 check. Before finalizing the sale he asked me if there were any other issues with the truck I had noticed, I informed him that there was a large chip in the driver side door and he ensured me this issue would be fixed when I picked up the truck next week. I also asked him if he could open the tonneau bed cover so I could look inside, he went inside the dealership to look for the key and came out and said there was no key and they would have to make one, again this was ensured to be done by the time I picked up the vehicle. I arrive on September 22nd to pay the remainder due on the vehicle, after signing all the papers and finalizing the sale, the truck is driven out to me. Upon a quick examination it is apparent all the issues that were ensured to be fixed were not resolved, not only that but the truck had about 2 gallons of fuel. It was clear this truck had sat neglected. All I asked for was to replace the key for the tonneau bed cover that was not given on date of purchase, repair the broken speaker and fix the chip in the paint. It can be noted that for almost a month and many phone calls later, these issues had not been addressed with no steps made by the dealership to fix this issue. All I asked for was the key but now due to the formal complaint process I have to share my whole experience. My five years in the military and three deployments have never shown this much negligence before.

Called South Coast to look for a fully loaded Evo X MR as the forums mention they have good stock. Mariana answered the phone and we discussed what I wanted.Called me back after 1 hours and 3 more exchanges and about 10 text messages later we agreed on an out-the-door price and I wired South Coast the money ( I happened to be at the bank at the time), VIN unseen and purely based on trust. The following day Eric faxed me the detailed desc and VIN per his printout. A week later I went to pickup the car which had to have the NAV retrofitted.Mariana picked me up from the airport and I was in and out of the dealership within an hour. Don't expect Lexus type red carpet treatment, and communication can be sparse at times. But they are just no-BS and friendly people. No misrepresentations or bait and switch or post-deal upselling whatsoever which is the most important.

Its like pulling teeth to get someone to call you about a vehicle here. I had to email because getting a call back was not going to happen. Then when I finally received a call and told them my terms for the 2004 F-150 I guess there was not enough cash for the salesman and never received a call back. I guess they do not need to sell cars in this economy. The cars must be flying out the door they do not need my sale. Thanks for nothing South Coast

Bought last June a used Acura Type R that was not pre-certified. However, Eric (Sales Mgr) promised to mail to me a copy of their mechanic's own inspection. It never came despite 3 follow up calls. They were also charging me over $900 under "Parts & Accesories". When I questioned them, Eric said it was for "getting the car ready". The price was reduced to $675 and found out it was for a Surface Protection product I did not order (for buffing the car I guess). He would not strike it out as I already signed the sales contract (I overlooked this item when I signed as it was late and I have a 3 hr drive back home). They also charged me for smog certification and DMV licensing/registration but I found out later that the car has its car plate in place. They merely covered it with their dealer car plate to make it look unregistered. When I checked with DMV, I was informed the registration won't be up for renewal until 6 months later. Bunch of crooks and liars. Hope this dealership burn to the ground.

Car taken in with service light, headlight out, cruise control not working, oil change needed.Oil change done and fine. Headlight replaced and fine. Service light was another issue and fine. Cruise control NOT repaired. Picked up car on a Friday afternoon, and rec'd a ticket from police on Sat morning for tail light out which just happened to be the reason the cruise wasn't working.

Unbelievable!! this dealer is the worst place to shop for a car! NO costumer service, NO Attention to costumers what so ever! Sales consultants dont know what they are talking about and need to take some extended training! I saw a car online that was selling at this dealer.. called to get info and the guy told me the car was "EXCELLENT" and ready to go! even ran my credit application online.. Bfore I go see the car i called AGAIN to check that it was still available HE stills says yes come on down.. so i go and turns out the car is not even SALABLE because it wont pass SMOG inspection!! i drove for 1hr (59miles) for nothing.. and the worst part they didnt even say "We are sorry or can we make up to you" trust me dont waste your time with places like this..

I went in for a major service on my evolution. I was written up with in 15 min. My vehicle was done the same day and I was very impressed with how clean I got my car back. Rigo not only did a great job but cleaned my engine bay as well. I shopped around for about a month and they were the best price I found for the service I got.
