The Courtesy of the Repair Team, they advised what they would be doing for my scheduled visit and advised that could be a lengthy process and provided options of waiting or taking advantage of a provided car rental at their expense, asked if there were any concerns or other issues I wanted them to provide information on during their check of vehicle. I received calls to advise status of progress, findings of other things that could cause possible issues and was provided a written copy of same with recommendations and the level of priority for each issue that was listed and cost for each. No Pressure to make a "right now decision"

A week ago I had my new Jeep Grand Cherokee in for it's first service and to look at a rattle in the in the rear suspension. The technician didn't notice anything amiss, but when the service advisor, Ken Cascello, took it for a drive he noticed it. He researched for a bulletin describing the situation and found one. Parts were order and my Jeep was repaired a week later. Hat's off to Ken for his thoroughness and technical knowledge. He's competent, a pleasure to work with and completely trustworthy. My Jeep now drives nice and quite as intended.

I recently purchased a new car from Southern. I was well satisfied with the sales process. Isiah, our salesperson, was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. There was no high pressure at any time during the sales process even during the final phase when optional extras such as undercoating, paint protection, etc. were offered. The final paperwork and car pickup went smoothly and was completed in a timely manner. There were only two issues to point out. We had first looked at this car about a month ago and a price was offered by the dealership. When we called back a lower price was negotiated. However, when we visited the dealership to sign paperwork and make a deposit, the initial higher price was on the form. It is reasonable to assume that this was an unintentional error because when I pointed this out, the form was promptly changed to reflect the most recently negotiated lower price. The second issue involved the down payment. I indicated that I was going to charge that amount on a credit card. However, at the time of the final paperwork, I was told that the maximum I could charge was well below the down payment amount. Had I know this earlier, I would have gotten a check from my credit union. It did work out as I was able to use several credit cards for the down payment amount. I do not consider these two issues to be "deal breakers" and I would still recommend this dealership and this salesperson. The only caveat I would offer as in any major purchase is to review the numbers.

Horrible, horrible, horrible experience with the service department. For starters, ever since my last oil change a warning kept coming on when I got in my car that said "change oil". That wasn't there until AFTER I got my oil changed. This recent visit, the service guy was quite rude and condescending, even going so far as to laugh at me. In addition to that, the things I told him I needed didn't even get done.....none of it except the oil change. I've lived in 4 different states since I've owned my van and this is the absolute, by far, worst experience I've ever had at a dealer anywhere. Unless you want horrific customer service, extreme prices, and the work to not even get done then I would steer clear of Southern Dodge at all costs.

Because I'am disable and require special equtiment to be installed in car in order for me to drive. The saleman has offered to bring any car that I like to my home. This was by far the greatest car buying experiences I have ever had. The staff was genuinely friendly, and not just being friendly to sell me something. They let me test drive my favorite vehicle for as long as I felt like I needed to to get a good feel for it. Ken explained all the options, safety features and knew the product line very well answering all my questions on the spot. He worked tirelessly to help me get to where I wanted to be payment wise and explained different options satisfying to both me and the dealership. I was disappointed with the three other dealerships that I looked at because of how their staff handled my business. I had been searching for a new SUV for several weeks when I finally found my new Dodge Durango at Southern. Purchasing my new Ram 1500 from Southern Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Fiat was a fantastic experience. Bobby Adams was my Sales Representative and he bent over backwards to make sure I got the vehicle that I wanted; and I did not make it easy for him. I was very particular about what I wanted in my and on my vehicle. Bobby walked the lot with us until we found the right vehicle at the right price. Not only did Bobby do an exceptional job; the whole Southern team we dealt with that day (Clayt and Frank) answered all of our questions, explained options and packages fully, and helped make this a great buying experience.

While traveling to the Outer Banks, my truck's #4 injector completely failed just outside of Norfolk. A quick search on Google guided me to Southern Dodge. I limped into the dealership in the late afternoon in complete need of help. Nick Gaylord from the service department had the mechanics quickly triage my motor to determine my next move. Needless to say, the truck was going nowhere in its condition. Nick arranged a rental vehicle and even gave me a ride to the airport to get it. I was able to continue on with my vacation. My truck was scheduled into service for repair during the week and the problem was corrected. The repair was a little costly but their rates were fair and they took care of me in my time of need. I was hundreds of miles from home and in a bad position, but they were professional and didn't take advantage of me or my wallet. They even discounted my bill for my military service, when the didn't have to... Southern Dodge and their employees have earned my respect and I would recommend them to anyone in the area...or who finds themselves in the same dilemma as I was.

Just would like to say I have been to many Dealerships in my time for Service and have never been treated with the respect I received as a customer!! First off this place looks great!!! I pulled in the indoor Service lanes with my check engine light on the Service Writer greeted me at my car ask what my concerns were so I told him while we walked around my car he was checking my tires and did a complete walk around. We went into the office and he said we will check out the check engine light and also give you a free 27 point inspection on your car and he said my tires should be replaced soon and that he could beat any ones price on tires!! So he escorted me to the waiting room. About 30mins later he returned and said he could have my car fixed in an hour with the price of repair, I agreed to fix my car! He then offered to give me a shuttle ride to the mall but I said I would just wait! Time went by and they called my name and said you car is now ready. I payed my bill and a young man pulled the car up and I was on my way Great Great Service!!! I will return to buy my tires also!!! Thank You Job well done!!

I met Jason Collins through his General Manager while on deployment. Over my last 3 weeks of deployment he was searching for "the vehicle for me". Best experience we have had at a dealership.
