Facility is very nice but extremely boring so if your sitting there all day your going to want to run into the glass windows face first has the big tv,nice set up and comfy chairs but needs some tweaking. Second they couldn't get anything done with me. Sales rep was a good guy fairly new could tell he was learning his Chevy's and that's ok he was a good man. But this dealer really doesn't have any pull with very many banks it seems to get things done. No matter what their is always a bank that is willing to get a deal done. I've done it before and I've succeeded these guys could not and I basically wasted an entire day. It's a shame because that salesman deserved to get a sale from me. Sad thing is when I said hey make it happen in that car right there. They completely circled around and did it on a car I never even agreed too, I had a couple cars and the one they quoted me was not on the list of something I wasn't even willing to accept. I'm very upset and it would take a lot to get me to walk back in there. If your looking for a Cruze or Malibu and have some decent credit head on in I'm sure they'll take care of you. But my situation they really didn't want a whole lot to do with me. It's a shame. Maybe I'll get a call this week saying " hey we got it we got it" but I doubt it.

I recently bought a 2010 Ford Edge from Spitzer Chevy Northfield. I had talked to Nicole(Internet sales) about the car on Friday. She gave me the details I needed but said she wouldn't be there on the weekend and I should talk to manager Sam. I called Sam while I drove from Erie, Pa on a Saturday afternoon -after work- to look at this car. (I had also intended to look at a few other vehicles at other dealerships). Sam had the car washed and had it waiting outside at my arrival. I was met by Sam and salesperson Jennifer Valentine. She went over the car with me and we went for a test drive. The vehicle was exactly as described and the pictures of it were numerous and 'spot-on'. My only complaint was some detailing issues. The dealership was very busy that afternoon but after much negotiation about my BMW trade-in, a deal was reached and I left shortly after closing time in the Ford Edge. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and seemed to bend over backwards for me. Even though it was after closing, I was not rushed at all and they went out of their way to make sure I and everyone else there was being taken care of. They even filled the gas tank before I left. I did not ask for that but it was GREAT!!! Thank you Jennifer, Sam, Randy and all!

We purchased a conversion van here because it was the only place that sold them within a 50 mile radius. It needed about 5 repairs immediately, a few more when the vehicle was less than a year and 3 more now that it's just over 2 years old. All were covered by warranty (thank God), but trying to get them completed was a nightmare. The service dept wouldn't answer the phone, keep you on hold for 20 mins (I timed them), and take hours to call back. The service itself always took longer than expected -- usually days instead of hours. I have never experienced such abysmal customer service at ANY type of store or service provider. I wish we'd drove 100 miles and purchased elsewhere!

I was in the process of buying a home when my car failed me. After much deliberation I decided to check out some cars at Spitzer in Northfield. I decided on A certified pre-owned 2012 Chevy Cruze. The car buying process was very new to me and I had my new home to consider. Turner Friedman, my salesperson was not only very personable but caring about my situation. Any questions and concerns I had were answered and then some. He was very diligent and detailed throughout my car buying process. To this day (3 months later) I know I can call him up and ask for help and he is more than willing. He is the best salesperson I have ever had the privilege of working with. Anyone I know looking for a car I will be sending his way, knowing for a fact they will be very well taken care of. I, myself will go to him in the future for any car buying needs. Also, any of the staff that I have come upon at Spitzer in Northfield through this process has been more than wonderful. Rather than trying to force me into a deal of their choosing, which has been my experience elsewhere, they found out what I wanted as far as price and payments and worked to make it happen. I was looking for a late model SUV to replace my old minivan, and had done extensive on-line research, and had narrowed my candidates to a few. I visited other dealerships, then decided I would prefer to buy local, and American, if possble. Marty Verescak at Spitzer Northfield neatly laid out all my options, and was willing to have any car I was interested in transfered here from any Spitzer dealership. As it turned out, the best candidate was right here on the lot. Marty worked hard to fit this purchase into my budget, and he addressed all my questions and explained each step of the purchase process. About a month ago, my '09 Malibu started having issues where I would just be driving along and then all of the sudden, the car would start jerking and a SERVICE ESC and SERVICE TRACTION light would come on. Then the car would be fine for a while. Then it would happen again. A couple times the car actually stalled when taking off from a stoplight.I brought the car into the dealership. The hard part is that this was intermittent making it difficult to troubleshoot. But, this isn't one of those "I can live with it" problems - it needed to be fixed. I worked with Pat on it for a while and then eventually with Steve (the Service Manager).Steve really took the bull by the horns on this one. Long story short, it did take a a while to get this resolved (due to the nature of the issue), but I've been driving the car with no issue for a couple weeks now.Thanks, guys!!

Three days ago I purchased a new Chevy Sonic from Spitzer Chevrolet in Northfield, Ohio. Both Sam Shaffer, the Sales Manager, and Mark Hamburg, my sales person, went out of their way to professionally and courteously explain everything related to my new car purchase. The last car I bought many years ago from another dealer was actually stressful and similar to getting a root canel. With Spitzer of Northfield, however, I actually enjoyed the "new car" buying experience. Mark Hamburg not only explained the important factors about my new car but he also sat in the car with me and showed me how to navigage the basic features of my new Sonic. Mark also explained the Onstar system as well as some of the other "extra" features of my new car. Additionally, Randy, the finance manager thoroughly explained the finacial aspects of my new purchase. In conclusion, I am totally satisfied with the purchase of my new Sonic from Spitzer in Northfield, Ohio and I would recommend Spitzer of Northfield to my friends and family.

It has been 24 days since I contacted Spitzer of Northfield for service. I'm now stuck without a car to drive. The car was purchased through a Spitzer Dealership with an extended warranty. Steve S. the Service Manager from Spitzer of Northfield is unable to answer any of my questions to my satisfaction. The car has not been inspected for warranty work and all of the proper paperwork has been turned in to file my claim. Steve keeps passing the responsibility to the warranty company that only wrote the contract and they do not pay for the service. This is unacceptable. Why does it take multiple calls on my part to get things started 24 days after it should have been. The responsibility has been pushed off on to me to make all of the calls during my work day to try to handle this situation. I paid for the extended warranty to not have to deal with this. This is horrible service and I should not have paid for the full warranty if I have to do the work. It was appalling to hear Steve S. the service Manager make derogatory comments about a member of another dealership. This other dealership is trying to communicate with him to service the car. It was completely unprofessional and inappropriate.

Even as we walked in Ken Auvil was there to greet us with a hand shake and smile. He asked us what we wanted and we told him we already had a car picked out that we wanted to buy. stopped in late afternoon expecting to get a quote on my trade-in and to begin the process of purchasing a new vehicle - met in the lot by Turner. Just so you know I understand that busnes goes on, but when the facility is being redone you need to supply popcorn and move the tables away from the doors more in winter. I originally had an appointment with Claude Smith to see a used Chevy Traverse. About fifteen minutes from the dealership, Claude so kindly called to let us know that vehicle had been bought. We decided to go anyway to see what else they might have. When we arrived, Claude was with another customer so we were introduced to Turner Friedman. We were interested in another Traverse; perhaps a 2014 but AWD. He showed us a 2014 AWD Chevy Traverse which we were very interested in. Test drove it...loved it! We traded in our 2011 FWD Traverse for the new one. There was absolutely ZERO pressure to lease/purchase. Just straight forward honesty and help! Turner really went the extra mile to get all of our questions and concerns answered. Negotiations were easy, smooth and quick. We were treated fairly and received a wonderful deal on an outstanding vehicle. We also had the pleasure of meeting Claude and thanked him for his efforts as well. An incredible leasing experience from walking through the door to driving off of the lot. There absolutely is no "I" in team at Northfield! I will recommend them to anyone looking for new or used vehicles. It was definitely worth the hour's drive for us! And a sidenote: We accidentally left one of our sons favorite CDs in our trade-in. I came into this store on a hope and a prayer for a 2014 Chevy Impala. Both Sams were great in assisting. Michael Wiesner was great. My experience here at spitizer has been great. I have bought one vehicle and sold another without any issues regarding the transactions. It is rare that there is great follow-up, flexibility in financial options and after sale loyalty in the car market. I would recommend any of my fellow Cleveland Clinic friends to come and by a car here. Steve Stroud has been my car salesmen for the last year and has shown excellent attention to detail, follow-up, friendly, and goes above the call of duty each time there is a need. I hold him here at Spitzer in high regards and was the sole reason for my returning and buying another vehicle. I plan to buy a third (Corvette) in the future.

I came in not expecting to buy a car but only to look. During the time there were remodeling the outside and things were a little hectic at the time but when we walked in we were greeted by an employee. His name was Steve. We got straight to the point and told Steve our ideal number and within minutes, he pulled up two excellent looking cars with little miles. I was shocked to see these cars with the numbers I gave him. He took us into the back to see one of the cars and I really liked it for the price. We then test drove the other one. Steve was very patient with us and offered us items every chance he could just to make sure we were comfortable. He relayed valuable information about the cars and had us test drive whatever we wanted. I finally picked out an Equinox for the room. I couldn't be more excited. Thank you Steve from Spitzer!

I found a great deal on a car posted on the web. It was exactly what I was looking for. I live over 300 miles away and wanted to get as much information as possible about the car before making the trip. I worked with Michael W. who was fantastic! He took the time to personally inspect the car, and also sent me many more pictures of exact areas I was concerned with. We negotiated price and trade in over the phone, and had everything set for me to make the full day trip to pick up the car. It was clean and had a full tank of gas! Tire blew out on 271 heading to Cincinnati at 5 o"clock on a Fri. afternoon. Pat and the guys found the tire had it delivered and got me back on the road (even they they were due to get off at 6 o"clock). Excellent service great bunch of guys. I have a Jeep Liberty that needed three new tires and tire sensors. I have been working with Andrew Neri for years, even at another dealership in Cuyahoga Falls. Service here has been questionable until about a year ago when a new service manager was hired. Since then, I've received much improved customer service and for the first time, I'm considering purchasing a new Chevy. The Servicer Dept. at Spitzer Chevy is the best in northeren Ohio. I have been dealing with them sinice 1973, I have always been treated fairly and never had any issues.Service manager Tim Deemer is very helpfull with any issues I have had with my Silverodo. The vehicle is awsome and I never buy anything else. Seversice manager Pat Ballard and service manager Andrew are alwasy very helpfull. I will not deal with any other dealership .

My vehicle was packed and we were ready to leave for vacation when the ABS light came on. I brought the car in unannounced and Tim, Andrew and Pat were so nice in making this stressful situation better. I recently ,( about 3,00 miles ago) called to have my car serviced, oil change ,tires rotated etc. and was told Spitzer could not get me in even though I regularly use only this facility for my 2008 HHR. Disappointed but in need of service I went to Sears where they took care of me and told me I needed a front wheel alignment, which I thought I had done when I recently purchase tires here, So I was disappointed again. As I was in need of two more tires and am a big fan of your service department I made an appointment yesterday for today and used a 10% coupon on the work. The service here is excellent and they address any questions or problems well. This is the second time however that I almost decided to take my car elsewhere for service. I hope this service visit has no glitches because, as thay say, three strikes and your out,

I have been coming to Spritzer Chevrolet for the past 7 years. The salesperson that sold me my van is still an employee and still very much involved in making sure everything is o.k. with me and my vehicle. I come in to get my vehicle serviced and the service department and manager are phenomenal. I am in and out for most services in 1 hour. If the service I am receiving is longer than an hour they have a courtesy vehicle that will either take you home or offer you a courtesy loaner if the service will take longer than a day. I must say the service department at Spitzer is A#1!

During these stressful time with money, jobs, education process, and employment I was approached by Bob Consiglio at Spitzer. I did not have a lot of hope that purchasing a car would be an option but thought i would try talking with someone anyway. It was wonderful. I sat down and talk about the hardships trying to jungle 3 teens and how could I provide them to get the education they needed going 3 different directions. In addition to going to my own job. I can not tell you how hard they worked to assist me in purchasing a vehicle within my price range. All of a sudden I started to feel hope and a sense that put me at ease. I started to relax as they worked diligently at managing the different available to me. Both gentlemen Bob Consiglio and Sam Shaffer the General Sales Manager were polite, professional in addition to compassionate. I would comeback to these two gentlemen and recommend a visit if you are considering a purchase of a car.

Since my first visit to Spitzer Chevrolet in Northfield, the sales team went above and beyond to help my family and I find the right car. I came back three times after the initial visit and each time the Spitzer team seemed eager and willing to help. Not only did the sales team help by getting us into our new car, but the service manager Tim Deemer was very nice and explained everything that was done to the car but also everything that they will still help put into the car after purchasing it.

James did an excellent job helping us understand the features and benefits of the Traverse. The pricing of the vehicle was fair based on the research I'd done prior to making the buying decision. There were ample models in stock for us to evaluate and choose from.James was very friendly and made the entire experience comfortable and pleasant. This is the type of interaction I want out of a sales person. In five years or so when we are ready for another vehicle we'll be back. Hopefully James is still there but even if he is not, we'll return to the dealership. James represented Spitzer Chevrolet well and has earned a return visit from us.

I called spitzer asking for a used car salesman regarding a car I had seen online for my Mother. Tom was the salesman that answered my call. He told me the car I called about was sold. He then asked if he could help me find a car. At first I was reluctant being I really called about a used ford focus and I have only owned fords. He said he understood and was't trying to change my mind but he actually could look for any type of car I wanted in the Large Spitzer Inventory. I gave my number and he said he would search. Shortly after he called me saying he didn't have much to fit my criteria but he had a lightly used Aveo that fit other than it not being a Ford. Being Honest I had no interest. He Understood and said he would continue looking. I then asked a few questions about the Aveo. He answered them honestly the car didn't interest me but his courteous professionalism did. I told him I would discuss it with my Mother. She decided to go look the next day. Tom actually wasn't working that day but another Tom was and he helped my mother. I called the Tom apologizing that my mother went on his day off. He said that was no problem that the Tom helping my mother would do a great job. He was more worried about my mother and me than himself!!! My mother calls me and says "I love the Aveo" she then asked me to test drive it and look it over. I did just that and the other Tom was just as professional and willing to help.What a pleasant experience compared to most car buying experiences. Anyway I test drove the Aveo and just couldn't help but be impressed. I felt it would be a great car for my mother but only one problem. It was out of her budget a bit. The salesman said let me talk to the manager and I felt like this will be a waste of time! Wrong again the manager came and sat down with me along with Tom #2 and worked with me and with in a few minutes we made a deal! I am still just so impressed with these men! We then agreed that I would pick the car up in the morning and pay for it then. The next day Both Toms greeted us and made buying my mother a car a pleasant and extremely smooth car buying experience! I would not hesitate to send a friend to Spitzer Chevy! Thanks again Spitzer and especially Tom x2!
