So I go to star a week ago. They look up my payoff for my trade in .. They say all is good , I select a truck later that week. I am told I hit approved for a lease and they tell me the amount I am to pay each month . We're told come down with the title and reg for current trade in and will complete the paperwork . Then were told that Thursday to come and they want to look at my car again for trade in .So I get their Saturday all ready to go , they took my title , reg and payoff amount again. The salesman comes back. And tells me they decided they are not giving you the trade in amount we originally said but almost 2000. Less. So now the monthly payment was 150.00 more per month!!! And the truck I assumed I was driving home with today was not even prepped. This tells me they strung me along all week make me waste 2 hours today sitting there figuring is say ok I'll do the deal . They were referred to me and I will never refer them to anyone .

After I completed an online survey by Jeep NA I received a call by Nick the next day filled with profanity, He threaten to come to my residence and "shut me down". You call this a car dealership? is this how costumer service is handled? Horrible!!!!

I routinely go in for oil changes. I am usually taken care of by Teresa or Daryl. Teresa took care of me today. They are both friendly and accommodating. I frequently call the same day for service and they tell me to come in. I have had my challenger 4 years now. They could not accommodate me only twice. They both apply whatever discounts are available without me asking. The waiting room always has coffee and donuts. It's nice and cool in the summer but a bit cold in the winter. They are both knowledgable of the vehicles they service. I continue to go there even though the warranty has expired.

I have never once in 5 years had experience any bad service or repair. The staff their treat you like family. Terry is my favorite. I take my car no other place but Star Chysler.

I went to Star Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Queens (3 hrs away from home) for a 2015 Blk on Blk Caravan RT fully loaded. There is not many of these classy fully loaded sport vans out there so I was very limited on where to buy it. We were working with a salesman named Joe. AT 1st he was very nice & somewhat patient to sell us the van BUT we were told there was no way to see the van because it was on some other lot & to take his word that it was the exact van I was looking for (1st problem & concern - I was being sold a van that I did not even see yet). He wrote up some numbers on where we wanted to be & said no problem we will get you to the payment you want. Ive heard the horror stories about dealerships running your credit report to a lot of different places & crashing your score down. I told them I did not want them to do that because my credit score was low to begin with & I was concerned it would bring it down more. It was close to closing time so the finance guy was not there, the manager John assured me I would be approved but he wanted to check my credit first to see if my score was above 600, he checked it & he said it was fine, it was above 600 & not to worry (2nd problem - he lied about my score being above 600 to get my deposit out of me & to sign right there & then). The next day I figured I would get a phone call right away to finish up the deal & finalize the van. I received no phone calls & I had to call them late afternoon. The finance guy Kenny said he hasnt got to it yet & that he was very busy with other customers & he would call me back. (3rd problem - I was not a priority anymore & put aside, he was too busy for me!) More time went by & still no phone call, I had to call again & this time none of them picked up the phone (Kenny, John, Joe). DO YOU GUYS WANT TO SELL CARS!! HELLO I AM A BUYING CUSTOMER!!! All of you should baby this sale until it is finalized!!! Wheres the customer service!! I needed to know whats going on so we can finalize the deal. Finally I get in touch with Kenny again & he said my payment was going to be way more then what was quoted, it was because my credit score was too low. Why did John tell me it was ok & it wasnt that low (someone is lying). I did my homework & I was told by other dealerships to be careful because bad dealerships will tack on more percentage to the interest rate (& be PIGS about it) & use the your credit is not good excuse to get more money out of you through the financing. People fall for it too easily because they really think they cannot do better & that is so sad because its just a big scam some dealers play. DEALERSHIPS THAT DO THIS ARE THIEVES! Unfortunately the financing companies allow this to happen (they share in the increased payment) & there is no way to get the finance company (the finance co. that the dealer used) to tell you what your percentage really was approved at, only the dealership can tell you & meanwhile they can tack on to that percentage as much as they want, there is no law against this & the finance companies & dealerships are all in on it but the dealership makes the final decision on how much to add to it. Because of the high interest rate Star was offering to me I decide to find my own financing which I did & was approved at a much better rate. I called up Star again & NO ONE took my calls again. AGAIN I was being ignored. I asked for someone to call me back (Kenny, Joe or the manager John) NO ONE CALLS BACK OVER THERE!!! so I called again 2 hours later. Finally Kenny gets on the phone & I told him I was approved for a better rate by applying for financing on my own. Instead of him being happy for me that I was excited to find a better rate & it would bring me closer to were I wanted to be in payments he was ANNOYED that he had to do more work now to get me the same rate or use the financing company I wanted to use. It was as if I was bothering them & they didnt want to work for the sale anymore. WHAT THE HECK!!! I AM TRYING TO BUY A CAR & GET IT FINALIZED! to what will make me happy & comfortable but they are treating me like I am no longer important or they really dont care anymore about selling me & finalizing the deal. I had just about had it! I am very close to going somewhere else & asking for my deposit back. After that last phone call with Kenny & hours later again no one calls back to let me know whats going on. I called Joe & he was the rudest person I have every meet. He was yelling at me saying they are all too busy with customers, he was so rude & disrespectful, he hung up on me. HELLO I AM A CUSTOMER TRYING TO FINALIZE THE SALE!!!! Joe was the icing on the cake & that was IT!!at! I was done with these people giving me all this stress. I then for the last time called to speak to the manager to complain & cancel my deal. I asked for John the manager & of course he did not pick up & I left a message. Guess what? John the manager never called me back!!!! Even the manager does not call back. He could have tried to save the deal because thats what managers are suppose to do but I guess he didnt care either. What the heck kind of business are they running over there. At that pointI found another dealer that was WONDERFUL & they gave me all the attention I needed to get the sale finalized (Great customer service & they immediately called me back every-time), they also put me right where I wanted to be in price, monthly payment & finance percentage with NO GAMES, everything was black & white & I got the much Lower percentage rate that was originally approved for WITHOUT it being added on to. So I found out the new dealer used the same finance company that star had used, & they had approved me for a much lower rate than Star told me. Star Auto tried to tacked on an additional 5% more to the percentage I was really approved for & he lied directly to me & said they dont do that. BE CAREFUL STAR AUTO TACKs on to the PERCENTAGE & uses the excuse that you have bad credit or what ever. Dont trust them one bit!!! They lie, they wont give you the customer service you deserve & they play games with the financing & numbers. DONT TRUST THEM! not only that they would not give me back my $1,000.00 deposit. I had to dispute it through my credit card, which is still in dispute & will take a month before that money is resolved & off my credit card. The next day I was so annoyed that the Star Auto manager John did not call me back after I left a message on his voice mail that the deal is going sour & I was very unhappy with the customer service. I called him the next day & asked why he did not call me back & try to save the deal. He said I am sorry I was too busy with customers all day, how about we work it out now, I said are you freaking kidding me!!! WOW!!! You had your chance yesterday to work it out & I already purchased it from another dealer that cares about their customers UNBELIEVABLE! and now I am wondering if John was even the real manager or if I was lied to about that too?

This is my local dodge dealership, however I cannot say that is a good one I have visited them in various occasions within 10 years looking to purchase a vehicle but each time I go I just keep having the worst experience each time. Sales men at this dealer have no experience whatsoever, they have no clue to what kind of cars are they selling. thay have very limited stock too, so I couldn't find the car that met my need, sales man decided to factory order the car saying that it would take 4 to 6 weeks. I couldn't wait any longer than that. A week later I found out at dodge.com that the car would take 10 to 12 weeks. Now they are refusing to give my deposit back. Which is totally refundable by law. I dealt with managers and supervisors and they are just rude. Don't even think of coming to this dealer if thinking to buy a car you will regret it, they are a team of unprofessional bullies by keeping my deposit hostage.

Horrible service, came in over 5 time with my 2014 jeep cherokee. Ive been hearing a rattling sound coming from my brake pads. They kept saying they couldn't find anything and the. I took the car to my own mechanic where my mechanic said the brake clips need to be changed and are loose. So i went back and came in at 7am. I was told it would take two hours after i explained what was the problem again and after the 3 hours my car hasn't been touched or worked on. So ive been sitting in the waiting room for over 3 hours now while my car still sitting outside. This place is a joke.

I should have listened to complaints and bb rating but i thought i was getting a great deal, little did i know that i was getting a different model, Do not trust this dealer service or purchase or for that matter anything. If you want to wait 4 hours to have oil change and than have bad key fob or you want to get ripped off than by all means go here. I HAVE TO SAY THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN!!

I took my 14 Grand Cherokee for an oil change this morning. No appointment, and first visit to this dealer. Darryl at the desk was great, checking on recalls issued. He was very friendly and professional. While I waited for my car I also noticed a great rapport among the staff, which is a good sign of a well run establishment. Car was ready fast, and I was given the coupon price of 29.95 for the change even though I did not have coupon. Some reviews on here are as expected. If you're under water on your trade, or have a poor credit score, no one will make you happy. I will definitely be back, and recommend Star to friends.

ABSOLUTE xxxx!!! STAY AWAY! I traded in my maxima for a jeep wrangler and after the fact remembered about my disposition fee (Maxima was at lease end). We were first time jeep lesees and any reputable dealer would have eaten this cost in forming a new client relationship but not this place. GM Nick is a meat head and will nickel and dime you the whole way. Got into a shouting match with him over us "not paying our bills" which is downright offensive. unprofessional and childish at every level- BUYER BEWARE.

I had a deal worked out at a dealer through truecar.com however it was farther away than star, so i figured i would be able to get same deal. Well Luther the salesperson stated they were going to beat the deal. Needless to say i recieved a lower model vehicle and when told to deal with salesmanager William the next day as he was not there, i came back and was told i took delivery too bad. Not only did i recieve a lower model for the same price i was to pay for a loaded vehicle i was also shook down for a tip by Luther as he was hooking me up. I would say this was the worst experience i have ever had dealing with sales people or a dealership as a whole. I am now in process of suing for the difference in price as i am now in a vehicle that i can not get rid of as it was overpriced and the dealer is not honoring what was stated during the agreement. Watch out and ensure you do not take delivery if not correct, and look over all the documents they are extemely dishonest

We were on our way to the airport in our family 2007 Town & country when then engine temp went beyond "H". My husband pulled over on the parkway, and OMG what are we going to do? We called Star Chrysler and Tony calmed us down. Tony walked my husband thru a couple steps to see if we could drive it further or if we needed it towed. We explained to Tony that we had a flight to catch and kids were with us in the car. We weren't far from the repair shop and we drove it there. Upon our arrival Tony greeted us at service drive, I guess recognizing the black minivan as if he need us forever. Within 20 minutes tony had us and our kids and 6 basis of luggage on the way to flight at laguardia airport. We made it. Thank God! The kids would of soo disappointed.We had an awesome trip in Colorado! While we were there Tony called to tell what was wrong. Coolant fan he said if you need to know. We agreed to the repair And told him when we returning.All I can say is WOW an great job!If you are in need, go to Star!!!!!A big thank you to all the staff at star Chrysler

I purchased a Fiat 500 Sport in September 2012 from John, the salesman. John said he would sell me the car for $16,800 with no fees attached except for NYS tax and DMV fees. I agreed and we shook hands. In an adjacent building, Ken, the finance officer, printed out the contract and the car was registered at the agreed-upon price of $16,800 on the DMV form. On the Federal Truth in Landing (FTL) contract (which details how the gross price of the vehicle is determined), the price seemed right and I signed it; it seemed right because I did not notice any fees except tax and DMV fees, as John had promised. Only after I had returned home and did some numbers-crunching did I realize that he raised the price by $995. I went back the following day and Ken told me it was a "standard fee" attached to all cars. At that point I spoke to John and -- secretly recording the conversation on my phone -- he said he was not aware of this mandatory fee, which of course was never expressly written in the FTL. I asked him how long he's been working with the dealership and he said "a while." Moreover, after I argued it was his fault for not informing me, the consumer, about this fee, he agreed that it was his fault (which was also caught on film). I took the dealership to small claims court and I won the full amount. As instructed on the notice of judgement, I waited 30 days and contacted Nick, the general manager, twice about getting my judgement. He told me, "let the sheriff collect. That's the way it's done." Star Chrysler is, bar none, the worst business I have ever dealt with. Not only do they dishonor their agreements, but they also have the audacity to spit in the face of our legal system. Avoid this dealership.

I went into star dodge/jeep to shop for a new Jeep. I worked with a sales person named ben. He was very nice at first. We worked out some numbers and they had the car I was looking for. They were very eager to take my deposit, So I left the deposit since the car I wanted was at the storage garage. I went home and I received a call telling me that car was already sold and they have a few other ones with the same options but not the color I wanted. I went back to the dealership and they showed me a few cars which all had less options and the MSRP was lower but they wouldn't give me a lower price from the deal we worked out. Then finally we agreed on a white one which was also at their storage warehouse and they would bring it over the next day. Next day came, I went to the dealership to check out the car and see if I liked it. Once again it didn't have the options I wanted and MSRP was lower then the original deal we worked out but they wouldn't discount the deal. While inspecting the car, I checked the roof and the roof had RUST on the rails. I bought it the their attention and they said "Its been sitting a while, It happens" Very unprofessional. I then proceeded to ask for my deposit back as I did not want to do business their. That took another 3-4 hours to refund my credit card. Overall HORRIBLE experience, unprofessional people. WIll never go back there.

I brought my car to Star Chrysler for repairs on 2/20/12 for a brake switch and a heated seat element. It took an unreasonable 2 1/2 weeks for my car to be repaired and on 3/7/12 when I arrived to pick it up, I found my car appallingly damaged. I found a dent on the passenger door, my leather seat was damaged (font and back), the back of the seat looked as if it was dragged along concrete and the molding and/or sill where the carpet ends on the drivers side was terribly damaged as well. When I brought these damages to the attention of the service advisor Anthony Garone, his response to my disappointment was "Things happen". I then refused to take my car in this condition and insisted on all damaged parts be replaced. As of today 3/13/12 my car is still at Star Chrysler. Anthony Garrone then informed me to speak to the service manger the following day and the service manager Steve Alucino was very arrogant, disrespectful and denied any wrong doing. I insisted all parts that were damaged by their technician be replaced he refused to do so. If I would have been aware that this company had a rating of "F" by the Better Business Bureau as well as many other online complaints regarding the damages they have done, I never would have brought my car there for service. My Chrysler Crossfire was in pristine condition inside and out when I left it at Star Chrysler (no scratches or dents on the outside and the inside looked brand new. I only have a little over 8,000 miles on my car. The service advisor also noted this on my estimate of repairs and/or claim check which I have in my possession.I remain in disbelief that they could attempt to return my car in the condition it was. I also tried to contact the owner, John Kovakis and left numerous messages over a weeks time and he never returned my calls. I am very offended, displeased and saddened that they can get away with doing such horrible things and think its ok. What about my rights? Where is my protection? Aren't there laws in place for a business that destroys your property and refuses to fix it?My vehicle is very costly to repair since it consists of Mercedes Benz parts. The damages to my car by Star Chrysler amounts to well over $2,000.00 and they should be responsible for it and I should be compensated. I will be taking my car to another service center for the exact cost of repairs.Also please know that I am now frightened to drive my car given that I unaware of what other damage they have done since the technician is obviously incompetent.
