I took my cousin to buy a car they made us an easy fast deal easy transaction. Thier used car manager and sales manager Brian made it easy and quick deal. And the Salesperson Hary is the best. No wonder they have over 4 star ratings it's very hard for car dealers to be above 4 star ratings. These people don't play game they make everything very simple and stress free. 10 star....

We came into this dealer being from out of town and it took them several (8) hours (which should of took 2) to do a repair and in the end wasn't even done correct. The mechanic put the part on backwards and we had to have the same repair done again plus more because it caused damage to the car. The service manager claimed he would provide refund on part of the cost and we have yet to see any of that back (month later and no returned calls). So paid over $3000 out of pocket for a repair that should of been done correctly the first time and cost only about $1000. Very dissatisfied with this line of service. We will not be buying from Ford again in future.

Was quoted $2100 to replace a $500 part. Yeah NO. It's $200 to LOOK at any one thing. If you bring your car in and ask them to look at 3 specific things you are out $600. I just cant bring myself to throw money away. Other shops ARE cheaper.

Went in last weekend to have a Ford Escape key programmed. Was told, and I quote, 'it will either cost zero or about $45 depending on if I can use the machine. If I can use the machine it won't cost anything'. I didn't have time to do it that day because there was a wait so I went back today. This time when I hand the SAME service adviser (Charlie Garcia) my key and ask to have it done he give me an estimate of $130. I complained and he said he would 'try and do something on the price for me'. I let them do the work because I had wasted enough time already trying to get this done. When he the work was done about an hour later he said he knocked the price down to $110. Thanks a lot, for only ripping me off for $65 instead of the $85 you had planned to. ($130 - $45). I will never go here again and would recommend you have the same aversion to the place.

Sales:I tried to purchase a vehicle in April from Star Lincoln in Glendale, CA without avail. I went in with printout of the same vehicle (identically equipped) from a local competitor with similar miles and said "If you could come within $500 of this price, I would rather purchase from Star as it is closer to my home." They tried to explain that it is not the same vehicle when was clearly the same except for the color (black vs. red). I am a realist and understand not all deals can be made based on a number of variables. They did not want to make the sale, so I purchased from Vista Lincoln (GREAT dealership!) that evening. Fast forward approx. 30 days ..... Service:I took the vehicle I purchased in for service as there was a suspension/steering issue. They said they fixed the issue and replaced a strut. After getting it home (nearly 10 days later), one issue was fixed and another created with the steering. I brought it back that week and another part was replaced. Got it home and the same issue was there (approx. 10 more days later). I made an appointment, brought it back and another MAJOR part was replaced. Got it home, same issue existed. By the sixth time I brought it back (yes, 6th!), and after being in one of their loaner cars for over 30 days between May 1 and September 30), I was told "the noise/feeling is normal." This was after multiple service advisors and the service manager (Manny) all sat in the vehicle and agreed prior to taking the vehicle in that there was an issue. It took a call to Lincoln customer service to start a complaint process to get anything moving forward. The General Manager at Star Lincoln in Glendale, CA and I connected and he asked if I could bring the car by so he could personally drive the vehicle (Alex). He was very nice and genuinely seemed as if he cared. I drove to the dealership and he drove the vehicle and agreed there seemed to be an issue as he never felt steering like mine in another vehicle. He asked what he could do as I explained that I had an appointment to bring the vehicle to another dealership for another opinion. He said he wished he could have one last shot at it as he would "personally oversee the repair." Again, he seemingly seemed like he wanted to figure it out, I agreed and he whisked me off to service and put me in a loaner minutes later. Approx. seven (7) days later, he informed me that the issue was "normal" like the tech and Service Manager said. He was very nice about it, but I knew he was wrong and was nearly infuriated and frustrated at that point. In my mind, Lincoln would never be able to compete against the other luxury brands with dealerships like Star and I gave up. I wasted enough valuable time and was on my way to trading the car in for a Lexus which is what it replaced. I never had such an issue with Lexus (or Audi, Nissan, Honda, Chevrolet, Infiniti, etc.). After sharing my disbelief with my assigned customer service representative, she suggested that I bring the vehicle to another dealership for one last opinion as her hands were tied (at this point, I was ready to go to arbitration per the Lemmon Laws in California and actually started filling out the paperwork). I chose to give it one last try and brought it to Advantage Lincoln in Duarte, CA, where they took me in with open arms. After actually listening to what I had to say, they found the part that was causing the issue and replaced it. Less than one week later, I had the car back and guess what, it was fixed! Moving forward, I am driving 25 miles out of my way to service our two Lincoln vehicles at Advantage as they earned my trust, respect and ultimately, my business. While all this was happening, I had my wife's vehicle in for service at the same time (we were expecting our first vehicle back by this time) which is under factory warranty. They did find that her battery was weak and needed a replacement, but wanted to charge us over $160 to replace it. Had my wife picked up the vehicle, she would have paid, but luckily I asked "why would we pay when it is under warranty? It turns out the service manager did not check to see if it was under warranty. Really? At the end of the day, Star Lincoln in Glendale, CA has fundamental communication and systems challenges to overcome as they are greatly flawed. Things happen in business, I get it. This situation was simply ridiculous, avoidable and probably due to the laziness of people who did not want to take the time to find the real issue. After reading a number of reviews on this dealership, it seems to be a common thread. I can say that Vista Lincoln was GREAT to deal with on a purchase. As a person that has owned 24 vehicles in my lifetime, I have seen the good and the bad from the Midwest to West Coast. Vista Lincoln was open, honest and genuine from the get go. Not like Star Lincoln in Glendale, CA. I can also say that based on my experience with dealership service departments, Greg at Advantage Lincoln in Duarte, CA is world class. He communicates with the customer, provides updates and is honest about his findings. Not like Star Lincoln in Glendale, CA. He earned my trust to the pint that I said If you tell me the issue is normal as Star Lincoln in Glendale, CA stated, I will admit I am wrong an 10 dozen doughnuts to the Star Lincoln in Glendale, CA service department as an apology (I can admit when I am wrong). As you read above, I did not have to buy the doughnuts as Advantage Lincoln in Duarte, CA found the issue on the first try. I would not recommend Star Lincoln/Ford in Glendale, CA in any capacity. Buyer beware.

Service was good and was timely. Only comment is that a bottle of gas additive was left to be used when the tank was filled - with the no cap tanks you cannot put the bottle neck into the gas opening as it will lock in place, the liquid will drain out onto the floor and the bottle cannot be removed without cutting it in pieces. It would have been helpful if someone had given a heads up on that.

Being out of commission following my back surgery, my Escape-I call Henry-sat for over 6 months. And the battery died.I called service to get their opinion on if ok to get Henry jump started as I did not want to screw anything up. They were fast in response and ok'd it. And quick for a servce appointment for him too. Poor Henry was covered in dust when I brought him in. He was all checked out, given a new battery and Terry even washed him for me. I purchased a C-Max energi last fall. My salesperson was Lawrence Rettig. He was quite helpful. Just recently I brought my car in to your service department for a 6 month check up; I was about to leave on a road trip, by myself, and I wanted to be absolutely sure the car was ok. I was so pleased that I could make an appointment and was told about how long the service would take. I arrived on time and had only a very brief wait before being attended to. The service took less time than I thought. Everyone was very nice. It so happened that I saw Lawrence and we had a good chat, I was happy to see him again. Because....I love my car and I am grateful to Lawrence for helping me with the purchase. Then I went for a walk and finally ended up in the waiting room with it's comfortable seats and coffee machine. How nice is that?! My car was in good shape, I went away happy.

First my apologies for not doing this review sooner. We leased a 2016 Escape. This is the second Escape lease for us, the first being a 2013 three years ago. Before that we purchased a 2008 Escape back in 2007. All the above from you at Star Ford. Enough background. Our experience has been nothing but great. The service has been terrific. We first met Alexander Kakuev (Sasha, our sales and leasing consultant) before the 2013 lease back around 2010 or so. He has been absolutely outstanding. When we first met him he talked to us about what we were looking for then helped us in choosing the right vehicle for our purposes. He wasn't pushy, rather suggested various models that fit our criteria allowing us to chose. We are not quick decision makers and Sasha understood. We visited several times with all kinds of questions and he took the time to answer and show us options as well as do test drives. He is so helpful and has a great sense of humor. When our 2013 lease came to an end there was no doubt who we wanted to help us with the new car "Sasha". He has always been available for questions by phone and if he didn't know the answer right then he got right back to us with an answer. Financing/leasing process has been extremely easy and quick with Ken Khangholi's help and knowledge. When we picked up this 2016 car it was in great shape and I noticed that Rosendo Pina was the same person that signed off on our 2013 prep sheet three years ago. Service of our cars over the years has been primarily by two service managers Charlie and John Garcia who have made it a very easy process for us. Again my apologies for not doing this sooner. We'll be back for service as required and in three years for the new lease. Sasha we'll see you then and sooner when we come in for service.

I took my 2009 Explorer in to have the air conditioning checked and found I needed a new compressor as well as some other work. It was a few days before Christmas and I was leaving on a trip right after Christmas. Terry was able to find the parts and schedule the repair although the agency was very busy. My car was finished in a few days and I am leaving on my trip tomorrow. I would not have been able to drive the car for the distance that I was going without the prompt attention that I received. I am very happy with the way the car runs and should have a worry free trip.

Dec. 22nd, just before Christmas, 'change engine oil soon' light comes on & I am not home & not sure how long I have to do the oil change and stay safe.I call your service department, am told I can have my car serviced there even though I bought it elsewhere, and you could do it after lunch. I asked if I could drop it by at lunch & they said sure, and then they called me before my lunch was over to say it was ready.All the employees, on the phone, at the check in, the service desk & the nice gentleman that brought my car to me, were extremly nice, friendly & helpful.

Ford Fiesta. My experience on 12/17/15 was excellent! The staff member who helped me was courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and kind! She informed me that there was a recall on my transmission and was able to have the issue fixed while I waited. Three weeks prior to this visit I was at the same location with the same concerns about the transmission. The person I talked to at that time told me my concerns were not valid as a problem and said that's the way the transmission operates on all Ford Fiestas. He never checked to see if there was a recall and indeed there was a recall on my car at that time. I trusted him however my instincts lead me to inquire again about the issue. I'm glad I did because the second visit proved to be productive.

Everything was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was I was told to make an appointment to come in and have a LoJack installed. When I did come back I was told there was already one installed. It was an inconvenience, but I don't live too far away so it wasn't a real problem.

I recall that the new facility was to bring a recyclable water usage to offer car washes during "the works" maintenances . I think that would be an awesome idea to implement not for the satisfaction of future customers but rather to have the ford cars no matter what model they are to come out looking spiffy. Imagine how much of a positive customer reaction would occur and confidence that would grow with customers supporting the brand. In the end we want to make ford to lead the charge in being the best brand in America right? And hey if you guys want me to work for your customer service team to listen to customers and offer insight I wouldn't mind

I said that I had an apptment with Mike Owen and she nonetheless was very helpful.Then I was met with Mike and he took care of my 2014 Edge. He too was very helpful. The morning could not have gone any smoother. I was very satisfied with Mike's assistance.

I had a great experience getting my new 2016 Eco Boost Mustang from Star Ford Lincoln. I was a little nervous when I got to the lot. I had never bought a new car from a dealership before and was not looking forward to aggressive sales tactics. Thankfully I had nothing to fear. Lawrence (the salesman) met me with a warm smile and friendly handshake. Within about ten minutes I was on my first test drive. I loved the car but I knew there were several on my list I wanted to try. After talking about the price Lawrence actually encouraged me to try all the cars I was thinking about even though they were from other makers. I was not prepared for a salesman to be so understanding of my perspective. I tried several other cars that day. They were nice, but i couldn't stop thinking about the Mustang. I even had a few bad experiences with other dealers and there overly aggressive tactics. I was told at one place if I left to sleep on it the deal they were offering would go away. Needless to say I went back to Lawrence at Star Ford Lincoln the next day. We had to work to get the price I wanted, but Lawrence made it happen. Never once did I feel like I was being taken advantage of by tricky sales tactics. Now everywhere I go people tell me what a beautiful car I have. I don't hesitate to tell them where I got it and how great the experience was when I bought it.

Paul help me find a C-Max Energie on Black Friday and was incredibly helpful and patient throughout the whole process, despite it being a crazy busy day at the dealership. He also got me a great deal and followed up with me several days later to make sure I was super happy with the purchase. I keep Paul's card in my car, as I know he will always be there for support if I have any questions. I came in to test drive the C-Max and ended up walking off the lot with a lease on the car by the end of the day. I drove a Prius and Prius-C before coming to the dealership, and was not impressed with the quality of the vehicle or the visibility. The C-Max drove like dream and I have the visibility and command of driving a much larger vehicle which was great. I also fell in love with all the bells and whistles (i.e. ambient lighting, navigation, leather seats) in the car I drove, and having those little extras makes my driving experience extra luxurious. Because my round trip work commute is 11 miles, the C-Max Energie is perfect for me. During a normal work week I don't use a drop of gas, but I like having the security of knowing I can switch to the gas tank for longer road trips and not have to worry about finding a charging station.

Perhaps consider having more than one cashier on duty at end of day, as the person in front of me had a complicated problem, whereas I and the people in back of me simply needed to pay for service. Also, I was surprised that a caution light 'low tire pressure' was not addressed, as simply adding air to the tires could have easily been done.

Staff was very helpful! I have a 1993 Villager and Charlie was diligent in seeking out a used part to replace the broken driver side chest belt assembly. I have Multiple Sclerosis with adaptive equipment on the car so making the belt work (and the car legal again) was critical. He also fixed a problem with the taillights that had gotten stuck in the on position.Two small issues: 1) The seat belt warning light worked normally prior to service and now it stays on all the time. 2) The automatic headlights worked normally before service and now I need to turn headlights on and off manually. These don't affect driving the car, which I very much need, but shouldn't have occurred. That's why I rated a 4 and 9 rather than a 5 and 10.

This was the fastest I have ever completed the purchase/lease of a vehicle. I lease, and turn over my vehicles every 3 years. I presented what I wanted and what I was willing to pay and it was met without "I have to check with the sales manager", or "We don't have that but why not this one at $5000 more." I was given several options, all within what I was willing to do. . Only 3 stars for the facilities, but they are currently under construction, so had to do with what was available. The new facility looks great and would probably been 5 stars.

I liked that for the most part they let me shop and make decisions at my own leisure. The original sales guy (Jesse) was super pleasant, but I did not like the fact that when he went to go consult with his "manager" on two separate occasions that whom he really brought out to talk with me was not a manager but rather another sales guy named ??? (long hair pulled back into pony tail). - I thought that was rather sleazy of both of them. In the end, a very forthcoming sales guy from the internet sales department ended up following through with the deal and was very helpful in making the sale(Chris, I believe). I purchased a 2015 C-Max energi. I love it. I enjoyed working with Lawrence, my sales person. And another staff member made a point of meeting me and describing to me her experience with the car as she drives one herself. The combination of exterior and interior colors I wanted was uncommon apparently and the staff needed some time to track down some choices; there were only two. We hit a glitch on the first one, it was under the transmission part recall, which this dealership didn't know until all the papers were signed and my insurance was bought. Lawrence caught the problem, bless him. John Sacco, the general manager, got me the other car, the only other one, and gave me a good deal. And neither of these cars was really close by. I appreciate the trouble taken. Brian helped to facilitate all this. So, you see, I met quite a few people over there at Star Ford. The only other slight negative was that I had made an appointment to test drive the energi but when I arrived there wasn't one available to drive, it had been sold that morning. I did drive the hybrid C-Max that day and got a feel for the car but I had to come back again to drive the energi. I appreciated Lawrence taking a long test drive with me so I could be sure that the car would make it into my driveway. And I appreciated Lawrence picking me up on the day I finally drove my new car off the lot. He has been really good about following up with me and being sure that all my questions are answered and that I am still a happy camper. Which I am. I am very happy with my new car!!!Oh, one more thing: My first encounter with all the paperwork was stressful; it took a long time, I was tired and hungry and there were still more decisions to be made. When I'm tired and hungry 'no' is the safest answer. My second encounter with the paperwork went much more smoothly, perhaps a lot of it had already been filled out.

The AC compressor and condenser were replaced and the AC unit works great. Everyone I dealt with was very helpful. My only complaint was when the car was washed, there was a white film on the hood. I was looking for a Transit Connect for quite a while. This was the best deal for a 2013 I could find. The Van is so useful. I owned a Dodge Van in the 70's and It was the most useful car back then. The reason I did not get a Van for so long was the cost of gas. This Van does the trick! Thomas Kontos the Seller at Star Ford Lincoln was "Stellar"! He held the Van for me so I cold get the deal. He even came in on his day off. That is real service! This is my first Ford product and I can say this Van is real nice.

Overall I am very satisfied with ford star Glendale, malfunction in my panoramic view sunroof which was handled professionally and repaired as promised there was a little scratch I think it caused by the time technicians removed the gigantic window roof but handled very professionally by service manager we are human and entitled to make mistake and accident happened all the time without your knowledge. also I was given a rental car since they have to keep my car for couple of days. I had the best experience. The most important thing for me was that I never felt like I was being pressured into buying a car. Lawrence and Thomas were wonderful. Lawrence worked really hard to fine me just the right car. It's my favorite color, it has everything I wanted especially the wood, no sunroof, and most of all in the price range I wanted. I also appreciated Ken, the Finance Manager who walked me through the final paper work, once again I felt no pressure to purchase anything I didn't want. We had not purchased a car in eight years so I'm grateful that it was a positive experience.

My car is made of plastic! My new Ford Escape has been in several times since I purchased it only 4 months ago. My elderly mother and I paid cash for 2 new cars on the same day. Once they had our money they let us drive off with cars with existing problems that they did not check before selling it. Our salesman said he did not make enough commission so the problem is not his. The trunk liner is falling off the car and my gas cap has fallen out. The air cond broke down, allignment out and my temp gage has never worked. I drive 1 mile and it says I drove 10 miles. I was taken by the internet sales dept and found out from another Ford dealer I was overcharged.

I received an email reminder from Star Ford that my Flex was due for scheduled maintenance. I phoned the service department at 10:00am on Saturday to make an appointment. My service advisor, Charlie Garcia, was there and said I could stop by that day. I was there by 11:00am and out by noon, and the total charges for the maintenance were LESS than the estimate. Charlie was, as always, friendly, knowledgeable, thorough and conservative, never suggesting any service until it is truly necessary. All in all, another great experience with Star Ford service. The service front desk was incredibly courteous and helpful. The service was very fast. The only negative comment I have is that my car was recently detailed and who ever drove it to the service area did not put a floor protector in before they set down, thus putting oily foot prints on the floor. I will definitely come again as this is not a huge negative and can be easily fixed. Just a bit of a bummer.

This is the fourth time bringing my ford explore 2012 in to have the key pad on my door looked at and finally it was fixed. The first three times the service advisor must not have understood me and they were fixing and looking at the wrong part of my car. A few weeks ago when I brought it in and it stayed for 4 day and when I got it back Manny helped me at pick up and saw how frustrated I was with the my whole experience I was told my car was fixed and when I picked it up I tested the pin pad and it still didn't work. Instead my key was replaced. He told me to bring it back to him and he would take care of it. Manny Paz was amazing he listened to me as I explained my issues and told me he would take care of it. It took this time 3 days to fix but Manny kept me updated each day which I really appreciated. From now on I only want Manny as my service rep.

The customer service was really good. I was a little shocked that I was told that the transmission trouble I was having was because my automatic transmission was in a car that was designed for manual transmission. It seems like Ford should have designed the focus two different ways - one for auto and one for manual - so if that is indeed true about the Focus, I was a little surprised. My car still shudders a little bit - although they told me that it would because of the design. The customer service with dealing with the complimentary (due to my warranty I purchased) rental car was superb. They worked with my crazy work schedule to ensure that I was able to get my car back quickly and returned my rental for me.

We brought our 2011 ford explorer in to have it serviced for a noise. Upon inspection our service advisor Manny then told us that they found and fixed one noise but there was also a light noise in the engine that they could not figure out where it was coming from. He gave us our options and I authorized for them to take apart the engine and to fix the noise. The dealership had our explorer for a few weeks and provided us with a loaner car which was a new Lincoln mxs that we all fell in love with including our 6 year old son! We got out Explorer back and it is running excellent. We are very glad to have our car back and really appreciated that Manny kept us up to date on the status of our vehicle.

I took my car in because the engine light was on plus my trunk rattled every time I unlocked it. My vehicle was in the shop for 5 days (luckily I have an extended warranty from Ford). The service rep was great and I got a rental vehicle since my warranty covered it. The trunk problem was fixed but when I received my car back, the engine light came back on. My car is currently back at your dealer. Not good at all!

I went in to the dealership just before the lunch hour with my two small children. The staff was very attentive in getting my paperwork ready in a timely matter. The technician quoted me an hour for an oil change (which seemed reasonable for that time of day). I got a phone call in less than a half an hour telling me that my car was ready. So not only was my car done quickly and efficiently, the staff was great at getting my paperwork and payment done quickly. Once the service department opened to take in the cars, they were very helpful to servicing our car within the amount of time we needed. Also we requested some parts that were missing for cosmetic use which they were very helpful in ordering for us what they could. Our left rear window (on the drivers side) has a chrome trim that had been peeled off by someone while it was parked in a parking lot. We requested a replacement for just the trim, however they said we would need to replace the whole window. If it is easy to peel off the trim we would think it could be replaced just as easy. Thank you!

I spent $850 to fix a couple things they said I needed on Friday but will be returning today (Monday) because they couldn't for sure pin point was the issues I had with the car were yet. I went in with concerns of a noise & grinding. The very next day the grinding was worse & going in reverse now, not just forward. I think it'll be the transmission which I paid $4,000 to replace less than a year ago. I just want answers. I didn't feel great about leaving with no for sure solution on what issues it was having which isn't their fault if car isn't making the noise when they drove it. I just hope today they know for sure what it is & it doesn't cost much. I know my transmission is under warranty & although they told me it wasn't that, things I've researched with all the sounds & issues says it could most likely be that. We will see. I hope my regular service guy is there today. Other one was good but my regular guy who had the day off knows my car over the years & all the things I've had done to it or maintanence I've done. Hoping for the best early this morning.

My 1999 vehicle develops problems due mostly to age, not mileage. But, it is a comfortable and safe car, one I enjoy driving. My latest problems were balky door locks along with another major repair. Charlie Garcia got my auto repaired and Pedro drove me home/picked me up the next day. Both fellows are really good people! I'm always happy to do business at Star Ford! All the folks in Customer Service seem to be helpful and knowledgeable. No one like having their auto broken down, but it's part of life as a car owner. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2015!

The staff was awesome. The man helping me (I think his name was John) was really nice and understanding about my frustrations about the issue. He also gave me a quarter so that I could get a toy from the little vending machine... Because I am a child, at heart. Nice touch, thanks guys! My only complaint was that my tire pressure light was on when I brought the car in, it would have been awesome if someone could have put some air in the tires, or at least mentioned it to me. I was going to ask if someone could check the sensor (I'd filled up my tires a few days earlier, but the light stayed on), but it totally slipped my mind. Thanks again!

What can I say? In the past there were so many unpleasant things I did not like about the car buying process. I hated the idea of looking for a car. But when I met Hoss Ala, I experienced a whole new and awesome sales experience! I explained what I wanted, a Ford Taurus, what I wanted my monthly payments to be and the most important thing was, I DID NOT WANT IT TO TAKE ALL DAY! On Thursday December 4th I was at the Lincoln Servicing Department by 7:30 AM. I was the first customer to arrive and when an attendant came over and asked what I needed I explained to him that the brake light was on and off and I also needed a regular 5,000-mile check up. He asked me if I had an appointment and when I said no he said that I could not be seen and if I wanted to leave my car it would not be ready until probably late afternoon Saturday. It was the first negative experience for me because I always like the service I had been getting. Late afternoon I called to report what had happened and the gentleman who answered the telephone, John Garcia, apologized profusely for the answer I got from the attendant in the morning. Mr. Garcia was very cooperative and told me to be there the next morning by 8 and he would make sure that someone took care of me right away, which is exactly what happened. My son was having neck surgery at 10:45 a.m. and Mr. Garcia made sure I was out by 9:15. He let me know that the car had not been washed so that I would not be late for my son's surgery and he handed me a voucher to a free car wash. Thus, I did have a negative experience on December 4 but Mr. Garcia's superb customer care and positive attitude restored my confidence and I will continue to bring my car for maintenance. I hope the person in charge appreciate what an outstanding staff member the organization has in Mr. Garcia. Thanks,Luz O'Neil

Left my vehicle for service the night before (key and service request in envelope-drop box). Recall services were completed the next day and the service agent was in contact with me via phone calls to keep me informed of the service process. Unfortunately, additional service needs (computer and navigation errors) were not completed due to apparent unavailable replacement parts. I will have to return my vehicle at a later date to complete the necessary repairs. This additional trip to the dealer while necessary, is an inconvenience for me. I appreciate the work to date and cooperation of the service agent but would like to have all the work completed in one visit.

getting in/out of service area was easy. Staff was courteous and all went smoothly. My only question is I have had troubling joining the email service for notifications and have asked several sales people and they all say, "that is not my area--you will have to call when 2 people are working that know computers" well duh, that is pretty unacceptable in this day and age. Not a favorable way to treat a customer. Other than that, things were fine.

I have a 2013 ford fusion. Went In factory recall. Was told part wasn't in till Jan but they could do another recall on my vehicle and it's was ready for it oil change and checkup. Eddie was very nice and helpful. Work was done before estimated time and all was good. Cashier was nice and quick in getting me in my way. Facility was still under construction but still comfortable and organized.

Rudi, the service manager I worked with, was excellent. He helped me secure the manufacturer code for the door combo lock (unfortunately that was not provided at the time I purchased the Escape from Star in 2012). I was under a rather strict time schedule; he agreed to be done by the time I needed to leave and he returned the Escape (with the code) prior to the time. This was a service appointment for a 2013 Ford Explorer -- regularly scheduled maintenance. They took the car 15 minutes before the appointment time, and the car was ready within an hour. I have a fiesta 2011 . Star Ford replaced the front breaks on 36000 miles and the breaks were making noise i went to star ford they checked the breaks and told me they have to change the breaks again the milage was 54000 miles so the breaks didnt last for at least 20000 miles anyway they did the oilchange service and changed the breaks and it took 3:30 hours and now it is ok but i have to take the car for transmission it rattles the car in slow speeds a big headache

My 2010 Ford Escape started sputtering and stalling on a Saturday afternoon. I happened to be in the downtown Glendale area, so I headed right to Star Ford for the first time. I was taken aback by all the construction, but decided it was my best option for my car's condition.John Garcia greeted me, heard my story, and immediately took care of me. We quickly assessed that the car would need to stay with Star Ford until someone could take a look at it on Monday morning. We agreed that on Monday, John would call me with a diagnosis and estimate. Much to my pleasant surprise, I got a call from John around 11:00 AM with very good news, all taken care of, done and covered! Star Ford Service definitely has my loyalty!

My only dissapointment was that a minor part that was needed to repair a tail light was not in stock. I would think that a dealership as large as Star would have most parts in stock. I leased a Ford Fusion in July 2014.Everything about my experience with Ford has been spectacular. I had been on the car hunt for about a month, doing my research in store and online, randomly walking into dealerships (and feeling nauseous upon leaving because of the sales lions waiting to pounce), etc... basically over-analyzing EVERYTHING because which ever car I went with... would be my first car. The moment I walked into Ford, all of my anxiety went out the window. The gentleman I spoke to, Tom Anderson (from Hempstead Ford), not only gave me his honest opinion, but gave me pointers on how to go about my search. Never once did he force me into a car, and never once did he pressure me into getting a car - he simply talked to me, and asked ME what I was looking for. For once I felt like I was being heard and was not being told what I should want, and what kind of car I should get. I left our first meeting feeling excited and happy. And guess what? Because of this, because of him treating me like a human instead of a potential paycheck, Tom Anderson and Ford got my business. I convinced my father to return with me (he had been looking into new cars for the family around the same time)- I wanted him to speak with Tom. It's very hard to trick my father, and when we left, he had the same reaction: Ford had been the first genuinely helpful dealership we had visited during this period. (Update: he is currently in talks with Hempstead Ford regarding a lease). Tom helped me with all of the paperwork, explaining EVERYTHING to me, and answering all of my questions. He even sat with me and helped me with my car insurance (like I said, this was my first car... and car insurance was a foreign language to me). By the end of it all, he felt like a family member. This leads me on to my experience at the Star Ford dealership in Glendale, CA. I had moved from New York a few months ago, and I was up for an oil change (we drove across in the Fusion beauty - so comfortable and spacious. 8 days could not have gone smoother... well, minus the two whining cats we had in the back seat). While I had such a wonderful experience at the Ford dealership back in NY, I couldn't expect the Ford Service Center in Glendale to be the same. Nope! It was. Bill (his last name escapes me at the moment - sorry, Bill) walked me through the process and what was included in my maintenance service. It was quick and painless, and they fed us food while we waited (which wouldn't stand out as being an important factor in the Ford trip, but I had a hungry boyfriend with me... and it was very important). Current day, my car is driving beautifully. She and I (yes, the car) love to blast music and take long drives down the Pacific Coast... and all of this couldn't have been possible without Ford. So, thank you everyone! Keep up the great work! (And if you ever speak to Tom Anderson, who I believe just moved to Texas a few months ago, please tell him that you made a girls California dream a reality, and that she and her Fusion are doing great!)Love, Amory

Charlie Garcia is fantastic. I really like to go to him at the service desk. Service seems to be perfectly fine, as usual.Initially, there was a problem. I booked an appointment online. A couple days later I got a call telling me that you were overbooked and that I needed to push my appointment back a few days. I thought that was really bizarre. I stopped by in person and another gentleman (Hispanic, I totally forgot his name) was very helpful and ensured that I got the desired appointment time. He was terrific, too!

Joey and Tommy were great sales people, and Joey did not keep me as a customer to himself or insist that I only come to the dealership for a test drive on the day he would be there, but referred me to Tommy when Joey was on his day off, so that I could come at my convenience. Our sales rep, Victor Ramos, could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. We took almost a week to decide on a Lincoln MKC, red with white interior. It wasn't easy to find one, and we were down to one Lincoln Town Car. We owned two. Decided to sell one, as they both were 10 years old. Victor found a MKC in San Diego, and had it driven to Glendale for us. We have owned at east 8 Lincoln vehicles during our 43 years of marriage. In the meantime, he arranged for us to use a Ford Fusion. What a kind gesture. We were so thankful to have two cars. We are like everyone else in America, very, very busy. :-) I love my new MKC. It is exactly what I wanted and expected. I love all the bells and whistles, especially the ambient red lighting inside. Gorgeous! Thank you Lincoln for building such a fun crossover vehicle.

Brought my 2012 Ford Fusion in for 20,000+ service and found out a recall was also in place. The service rep, Bill Olejnik was very helpful and the car and the recall were completed as expected. Bill also helped me set-up my new phone on the Bluetooth which was REALLY appreciated. While I was waiting for my car, I walked over to the new car area and spoke to Victor Ramos who was also very helpful with information on the C-Max and a new Fusion. The buying process was very quick and the salesmen were all helpful. As far as my 2013 ford fusion it had to be in the shop 2 weeks after I purchased it to have the transmission replaced. I had a rental for about a week and a half,and no one let me know what was going on with my car, I had to call and see when I would receive my vehicle and what the problem was.I have had to be back 3 more times for recalls and other issues with the vehicle. The service men are very helpful just not too happy with the product.

I have a 2005 ford focus station wagon (sadly, not made anymore) It was starting hard and after my son tried a few things I went to Star Ford (where I had purchased the car new). My service rep, Rudy was wonderful. He determined it was the fuel pump, expensive repair, but he found a "warranty program" for that part and was able to replace it for no charge. So happy I went to people I can trust. P.S. can't wait for the new facilities.

I needed new tires. I noticed that there was a special sale taking place with a large rebate.I contacted Charlie, my service rep. and he suggested I bring my my Explorer in that day and they could install the new tires. I have been having my 2009 Flex Limited serviced at Star Ford for more than 4 years, and have always been satisfied. Charlie Garcia, my service manager, is consistently terrific. He knows my car and he knows his stuff. He is thorough, he listens (a rare quality, nowadays) and pays attention to my concerns. He always checks my service history and never tries to talk me into to doing any unnecessary service (unlike some unscrupulous service managers). He is conservative in his approach, yet proactive in terms of preventative maintenance. He is friendly, personable and takes a genuine interest in his customers and their vehicles. That type of personal service builds customer loyalty and makes me want to drive all the way from Santa Monica to have my car serviced. Thanks, Charlie! And thanks Star Ford!

My husband said the quote for the T-Bird repair was $900.00 + and when I picked up my car it was $1750. I wasn't quite ready for that bill. I continue to use Star Ford as my service provider because of Charlie. He is the point person for my car. He takes the time to know both me and the vehicle and is always clear and upfront about everything. I appreciate that he,unlike some others who work there with whom I've had absolutely terrible experiences, "gets it". I purchased my car new from Scarsdale Ford in NY in 2004. I am the only owner/driver. I know every single sound the car makes and every button, dial and gauge. If I say something is off and describe it, he takes the time figure it out. Others have been dismissive - and frankly, rude. You almost lost me as a customer when Bruno left your shop. Charlie is who keeps me coming back and he has my trust. You need more like him. Also your Service manager was once very quick to fix/make right an issue some time ago - and that was greatly appreciated.

Be sure to ask about the difference between the synthetic oil that lasts 6 months vs one year. Don't know about you but fewer trips for service are better for me. This is overlooked by service guys at this dealer in their rush to get your car checked in. Otherwise very happy with my experience at Star.

My on- site experience exceeded expectations.However, I made an online appointment for the following week, then received an email FOUR days later saying my appointment could not be accommodated until 10 days later than requested. As I was making a long road trip, I called to ask whether JUST my oil change could be handled by the end of the week, to which Yesenia agreed, but was emphatic that everything else would need to be rescheduled. When I came at my scheduled time Friday morning, the Service Department said of course they could handle ALL of the necessary inspections/updates that day!! Made me very happy, but leaves me skeptical about communication with Service Department operator.

I preferred to go to Galpin or Vista. However, I needed a new engine and Star was closest to mechanic. Star matched price from Vista, however, they could not deliver as promised. Engine had to be built at manufacturer. Ok I can understand if there was to be delay due to that. However, delays kept mounting. In the meantime I have a rental car. Star was unwilling to work with me about providing alternate transportation, cover rental costs or anything. Whenever I called, they had to "get back to me". Which they NEVER did. There had been THREE delays in delivery. No apologies, no offers of compensation. I had no guaratee that there might be more delays, and be kept hanging. Customer service is below the 1 rating. They are not willing to go the extra to provide customer service. If they were willing to assist, we may have stuck it out. They didn't, As a result, we cancelled our order and went elsewhere. My mechaninc and I will never deal with them again. They do not exist to us anymore, and we will not recommend this establishment to anyone for anything. Avoid this place.

Arrived at services department at 9:00am. Bill came out to help us, signed us in, and assured us he would call us with a diagnosis "late morning, early afternoon." When we got there and they asked what was wrong with my car we told them that it wasn't starting and the battery was most likely dead (along with other things wrong with it). My dad and I were waiting for the call all day. It's 2:00pm. We call in to the dealership asking to speak with someone from the services department, but "no one is available in that department" was all we kept getting. Finally I look up Bill's extension and call him directly. He immediately answered even though "no one is available in that department." I ask why I haven't heard from him and his reply was "what time did I say I would call? I don't recall." He then proceeded to tell me what his "technicians thought" was wrong with my car. It's already 4pm and they don't have an actual diagnosis for the car because "we think your battery is dead and your ugh low on gas", and they have not started work on my car. Even though there was no diagnosis for my car because even though they are a dealer they can't jump my battery, Bill here still tried charging me the $150 diagnosis fee. Because these guys (ESPECIALLY BILL) are extremely unhonest, I had to leave my car there overnight. A whole days work wasted. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. They will fool you with their kindness (ESPECIALLY BILL) and try to get you to pay fees that don't apply!

All in all, the staff here are not pushy, and that's good. Their inventory availability is horrible though, so if selection is a problem, so is this dealership. I don't want to hear "I can get it for you" when any dealership can get it for me. I left my house with the idea of buying a Hyundai Santa Fe but when we got to the dealership, first the cars didn't offer what I wanted which was 7 seating and navigation system combined and second and most important the salesman was HORRIBLY RUDE! I was shocked because the first thing the salesman at hyundai did was light a cigarrette and blow the smoke by my face and he kept insisting that I didn't need a navigation systyem, so of course I was very upset about his attitude and I left. I ended up going to Star Ford Lincoln because I texted a friend asking for recommendations on SUV and he said my best choice was to go on a Ford Explorer. I can't say enough good things about everyone at Star Ford, "Perry", the salesman who helped me as soon as I walked in the door is extremely nice, sweet, helpful, knowledgable, patient and kind. Then "Frank" was incredibly helpful and they both helped me to get in the 2012 Ford Explorer I wanted! If you go to this place you will leave as HAPPY as I am and will recommend to anyone who asked me on a car and place to get a car! I can't give more stars because this thing doesn't give me the choice but I would give it a 10 stars!!

Light on I ask to fix it I got a call from the service guy he said it was a sensor and the spark plugs and wires I ok the work when I pick up my car they toll me it was the computer and they had to Oder the part one week later I pick up my car and then one month later my car Brock down in the fwy I had to take the car in I was tolled it was the computer I had just replace they use old parts at this dealer and now two month later my car Brock down one more time it is the computer

on january 5 you put a new transmission in my 05 explore said it needed it 3700 which seemed fair but now the truck is doing the same thing why don,t you train your guys i work in ac and ref. was trained to do that job charlie garcia is good guy and can only go by what is said i,ve been customer for ten years screw me once shame on you

Great experience. Love my car, love my price, love my monthly payment.My credit isn't the greatest but these guys took some money off to get me down to the monthly payment that I wanted. They have new management and salesmen too. I was actually Brandon's first customer ever and as a tradition I got to cut his tie in half. A+ for Pasadena Ford.

Went there to negotiate the price of a car I was interested in. After the typically patronizing "Don't worry about the price, man. We'll take care of it!" they had me sign a piece of paper(not a contract) promising to buy today as a "negotiating tool" for the manager to meet my offer. They then tried to strong-arm me into signing the paperwork immediately and when I wouldn't, saying I would be back with a check in a few days, they threatened me saying I had agreed to the deal and I couldn't change my mind. The supposed manager, Jason, was incredibly rude and beligerent. High pressure tactics; rude staff; a guy who presented himself as the "director" but actually worked for a promotion company; slickly trying to make me agree to finance with them and at a higher APR; threatening me with piece of paper I had signed. You name it. A car buyer's worst nightmare.Run! don't walk away from this place! Don't even go on their lot or give them any personal info. Absolutely unprofessional, rude and unethical service.

This is the worst place ever. I had 30,000 cash in hand to buy a Hybrid Escape and the ridiculous stereotypical tanned sales man with wavy slick hair was first of all offensive and second of all incompotent. He started off lecturing me about how an idealist like myself was incapable of understanding American Capitalism and therefore was not meant for this car that they marked up $5000. As if that wasn't offensive enough he proceeded to try and sell me a non-hybrid vehicle on the lot. Then after I decided this was the wrong place the pedantic loser decided to call out his ass. manager who came out just to tell me he had the same story. These bozos are why Ford sucks.
