Yesterday my husband and I walked into this dealership provided our budget and the car we wanted to lease and within 1 hour we were signing papers on our lease. The staff did their best to give us an excellent deal and we even ended up with a nicer trim of the car than we first anticipated being able to afford. The sales rep we worked with, Fernando, was not pushy at all and was able to work with our numbers. I am extremely happy with our deal and that we now have a brand new SUV as we prepare to welcome baby #3 into our home. I highly recommend this dealer to anyone trying to stay within a budget and anyone looking to move quickly and easily into a lease deal.

I recently found myself in a tough spot. A nail in my tire, bad enough to cause air to leak, and my home dealership is actually in Connecticut. I called Star Nissan Service an hour before closing time and they told me to come right in. The receptionist (can't remember her name unfortunately) was so polite and patient, even giving me turn by turn directions over the phone. When I got there, Shrenik helped me from start to finish. He was so helpful, going above and beyond to get my tire fixed and to deal with a third party company I have that handles my tire issues. He managed all of my concerns and I left feeling so relieved and so impressed by how efficient they were, especially at such a late hour of the day.

the worst place to buy a car. I bought a car from here in less than a month ago, and the seller told me that I have warranty with any electrical issue engine and some other stuff, one week after I started to have problems with the car I took it to the repair center because I had problem with the steering wheel, the pilot seat doesn't move and a check in light, so when they gave me the car back after 2 days they told me that they can't fix the seat because it is not covered by the warranty and they did fix the check in light but then they send me with the airbag light on, so I was pissed off because it is not fair that I just bought the car in this place thinking about the warranty that the seller told me and then they said it is not covered so they told me to take the car again there and they will se if they can fix the seat, 4 days more I was without the car just to receive the call again and they told me they can't fix with the warranty my seat problem and if I want to fix it I have to pay $900. So this is the worst customer service basically it is less than a month that I have the car, the took the car a week and they didn't cover the warranty they offered in the beginning.. Worst place to buy a car I am very disappointed with the service!!

I NEVER write reviews, but this deserves a couple of lines. Leased 2 cars from this dealership over the course of 4 years. Came in for the 3rd one for my father. In a matter of 1 hr finalized the deal and put a downpayment on the lease (a salespersons DREAM). Scheduled a delivery date--was turned away and sent home on the day of delivery ( when i was 2 blocks away and was called to come in 30 min before!) because the salesperson wanted to make an extra couple of bucks and said that "there is a better deal in 4 days-- please come then". Needless to say, its 45 days later and the deal never materialized. Kept calling to ask for a refund on my downpayment-- was asked to come in person. Came in twice in person-- the dealership made excuses and turned me away-- "call next day". So, after back and forth for over a month, the manager tells me that I wont be getting a refund and he will be keeping the money. Now, $392 is not a lot of money, however it is still considered stealing. The dealership and management would rather lose a customer that got 2 cars and was in process of leasing a 3rd, and risk fines from DMV for illegal business practices than refunding what rightfully is owed back to the customer.

This was the worst car purchase in my life. They pretend to be friendly but lie through their teeth. Bait and Switch was practiced. They take advantage of your vulnerability. They didn't honor rebate even though it took them 4 weeks to get the wrong car. I would caution all who deal with them

Buying a car at Nissan Star was above and beyond what I am used to. My sister has purchased all her cars from them and said they were wonderful. I called for an appointment. I was told by the female that picked up that I didn't need an appointment. I brought the car in because I was worried about the car that kept getting hot. I didn't want it to overheat. Jeff handled my case. I arrived in the afternoon and they said they would give it a good look. After about 2.5-3hrs, Jeff came out and said that they aren't finished but the car was safe to drive so I can bring my family of 5 home and come back early in the morning so they can look at it more "indepth" As I drove on the Grand Central, my car almost didn't make it to the Parson's exit. The car was running extremely hot and I couldn't stop on the highway. It was a snowy day and as it just made it off the exit ramp, the radiator cover blew and Antifreeze leaked everywhere. At that point I definitely needed a new Radiator no thanks to Jeff and Nissan crew that said my car was safe to drive. Long story short. All of the staff was full of it. Day 2 of repairs, They had to replace my Radiator (1000 job no thanks to them) they put in Non-Nissan components in my Pathfinder, they "FORGOT" to put in my Thermostat (Who the hell makes a mistake like that) so the car still ran HOT. Then they get an Attitude day 3 calling me a Liar as im bringing the car back to them. I wouldn't let my worse enemy go there. This guys are incompetent and wont even own up for what they did wrong

I purchase a 2006 rav 4, in march last year and I was charge a bank fee, when I call the bank there is no such thing as bank fee, that finance guy benny rob me in front of my face, so be aware guys. Now I know better. Because of benny I will never go or recommend any one there.

I called up Star Nissan looking to get some information on all the incentives and rebates Nissan has to offer. I spoke to a young lady, Alicia, she was very polite on the phone and knowledgeable on how dealerships treat their customers. she assured me if I was to go to Star Nissan i would be treated with respect and honesty. How I would be treated after my purchase is important to their dealer and if i had any problems i can always rely on Star Nissan to help me. Its was like she had known that my last experience at my last dealer totally screwed me. They sold me a brand new lemon. The car had all types of problems, and the managers thought i was lying. I had them take the car to drive so they can see for themselves. They had my car for over a month after me having it for only 3 days. Anyways, speaking to Alicia was a pleasant experience. I felt comfortable talking to her, she had lots or personality over the phone. She made an appointment for me to come meet with her. She made sure I knew my way to the dealer and told me about the customer parking. I was so thankful, i didn't even think to ask, and we all know parking can be rough on northern blvd. Arriving to the dealer she came from her office and greeted me with a nice big smile, shook my hand and offered me coffee or anything to drink, which was very nice. It was also a big plus for me, i love my coffee. Alicia had me work with a salesman Joe. Joe was very knowledgeable sales man! I never felt pressure from him to make the deal. He was very honest (surprisingly). I am so happy I finally got treated with respect and honest people at a dealer ship.

I didn't have a clue what I wanted. I kinda was just goin dealership to dealership trying to find the best deal on a car in my price range. I looed at the sentra and even took it for a test drive. The salesman was great and explained all the cool features the car had. I was very pleased by the time we pulled into the dealership. Bought the car and was able to leave with it 2 hours later. I will be back!

Buying a new car has never been a "user friendly" experience for me but going to Star Nissan and working with Lucus changed all that. I have always wanted a convertible for as long as I can remember and when I found out that Nissan had come out with an Convertible hybrid I was very excited but was still locked into my lease on my Ford Mustang. I went back to the dealership a couple months later and met up with Luces again and he was able to make the "numbers" work for me. Lucus was down to earth, direct, very honest and worked hard to get me an incredible deal.

I am writing a little late regarding the unpleasant experience I have had dealing with Gabriel Rodriguez, sales consultant at STAR NISSAN, INC. 206-02 Northern Blvd. Bayside, NY 11361. I can understand if he is a new sales consultant and is not informed of all vehicle and finance information to have provided us with information at the time of questions. Perhaps even the training provided for customer service was not accomplished. And he being the middle person for my finance paper work, it was a lack of supervisory on your dealers part to allow such inconvenience to me. For the most part, I did my own research prior to going into the showroom. I not only had to reach out to Gabriel, after not hearing from him when he stated he would call regarding the vehicle order status, but for the finance paper work , I had to return to the dealer more than I needed to. On top of that, after the vehicle was delivered, I had to return window sticker because he forgot to retrieve it. All this back and forth was uncalled for, had he known what information he needed he would have made our experience smooth. Fortunately, we get to express ourselves through your surveyBUT even then your sales consultant had the audacity to call me on my cell phone and YELL at me for the score given, and hung up on me. I will make sure all of my friends and family are aware of the awful experience Ive had with STAR NISSAN and I will also make sure they think twice prior to going to ANY NISSAN for that matter.

I did not go in to purchase a car - only to look at the inventory of Nissan Rogue and Versa. I happen to pass by a 2013 Nissan Maxima (fully loaded) and was highly impressed. I asked to take a test drive. In addition to the car, my salesperson, Humphrey was AWESOME!!! He answered all my questions while keeping a professional, friendly way about himself and did not pressure me into a purchase. He ended up finding me a great interest rate to finance my purchase and explained everything in a upfront, straightforwardly fashion. He taught me everything I needed to know to understand and I could not be more happy driving my new 2013 Nissan Maxima.

My first experience at Star Nissan for service was not a pleasant experience. I had received a call from their service manager Elliot who explained everything in detail and turned a very bad situation into a very good situation. I have been back to Star Nissan ever since for my service repairs and have not had a problem since. I feel they are trustworthy, take good care of my car, and don't try to take advantage of me. They are the reason I have bought two Nissans from Star Nissan.

I recently moved to queens from the Bronx where I hadn't owned a car in 10 years. Buying a car was a whole new process to me. I went down to star and met my dealer who helped me figure out what car would be best for me. I chose the Altima and they had one with all the bells and whistles I wanted. I was surprised. I had a crazy week and the last thing I wanted to do was have to replace my wifes car which recently died. I had heard great things about Star from friends, so I went to check things out with my wife. I was able to look around without being attacked first thing by a salesman. I really usd to hate car shopping but when I came to star I felt so much more at ease. The salesman took his time to really explain everything to me. I wanted to buy a car for my daughter who is commuting to college. Something easy to maintain but not breaking the bank. We went with the Nissan Sentra. She got it in the style she wanted, the options and the color too. The monthly payments we agreed on were below what I was expecting. My credit is not so great but they found a way to make this deal work. The extra time spent to help us went a very long way.

I haven't purchased a new car in over 10 years. I was looking for a safe car with a smooth ride. I didn't know what to expect. When I spoke with my sales person, I felt a lot more as easy. They explained the cars and which one would suit me best. I went with the new Altima. The different packages were able to be explained clearly. I did get my Altima with most of the options for a great price. I will be returning once my wife is in need of a new car. Huge thanks guys!!

I brought my mother to this dealership to finally get a new car. A salesperson greeted us and was kind of demanding with his inquiries about our shopping decisions. While we browsed, we somehow got another salesperson (Meltser) that was very accommodating and gave us our space, but appeared when we had questions. All in all, the experience was a positive one, my mother is a proud owner of a new Altima and my drive back to CT was traffic free! I think it was meant to be.

Let me just say that as a customer, I am a tough. When my old car died I call just to inquire information on a Nissan Sentra. I spoke to Fred and he was very understanding and helpful to me. I continued to call him directly to ask questions and figure out the best payment plan based off my budget. He kept going back and fourth with the numbers, because I was making sure I could get a new car. I didnt want a used car, because personally I have not been very lucky with them. Fred didn't mind calling me back, or responding to emails. I am grateful to him because when I finally made a decision, he got me Theo to show me the car and finalize the deal. I ended up buying a Versa because it fit by budget and has amazing gas mileage which I love thank you so much. Your team was terrific, and I will recommend your Nissan Store. Very happy!! :)

Full of lies!!! Purchased a 09 Infiniti G37x S from sales person Richard Schultz at Star Nissan on July 05th. At the time of purchase I still have two months left on a 11 Camry lease. Richard told me I can return the lease early to Star Nissan and I WILL NOT have to worry about the damage (dings and dents) on the Camry as well as the last two lease payments on it. It was very convenient for me the way this deal was set up so I was willing to pay for the convenience. I paid $24,780 for the G37x S with just under 25k miles on it. It's NOT cheap! Sure enough after I picked up the G37 and returned the Camry I was happy and everything with the new ride. Then Toyota Financial Service comes chasing me for the last two payments on the Camry which I have already returned! Then I called up Richard at Star Nissan and sure enough I was then told: "the deal was to only cover the damages on the Camry and not the last two lease payments. You did not purchase a new car but only a used car so there's no way we will cover the remaining lease payment on the Camry." My lesson learned since it was not written on a piece of paper. Frankly it's not a huge amount of money we're taking about here but this lying game about "we will take care of it" then all of a sudden it's not part of the deal crap just pisses me off. On the day of purchase I went with a friend who used to be an auto sales person and happened to worked with a person who knows Richard and he still managed to pull this one off on us. Advise from me is don't go to Star Nissan nor Richard ever. There are plenty of other dealers out there I'm sure who can do a better job then this.

My husband and I went to look at a 2013 Nissan Sentra and Altima. The salesman showed us both cars and we asked him to give us the price on each so that we could decide on one. He went to speak with a manager and when he came back he said they were busy and would have to call us to give us a price. Two months later we are still waiting for the call. Do they not want to sell cars? So we went down the street to Helms Bros and bought a C300! I guess they did me a favor by not giving me a price. My sister has also been waiting for 2 years for them to call her to schedule a test drive for a pathfinder. She bought her brand new Pathfinder at Koeppel. What is wrong with these people?

This was my second experience with Star Nissan and I've had before far 2 Nissan cars from Cox Nissan and Koeppel, I was not too happy with my first experience, but my last experience was by far the worst. All I can say is: SCAM & SCAM&SCAM.Do not go there and be ready of surprises when you sign final lease agreement, they were so rude, I'm speechless.Do not go over there especially if they are offering early termination of lease.

Request for internet quote for Nissan Altima 2012, get email from Christine Mangione that out the door price for $17990, then get her call to confirm that this price is include every possible fees. And since it is OTD, so its mean pay that price, and take the car without any attachments. Before visit this dealarship, also get her call to confirm that I am visiting the dealarship as promissed. However, once arrived the store, the manager tell me that she is off, and not in the store. I was supprise because she has told me to ask for her. Then I show the email to the manager, that he immiditlly decline the price, saying that price is not include the taxes and other fees. I feel get cheat. Then later, they say, she must made mistake. Can you believe, a mistake, it is a case of internet business fraud. So contact FBI internet business Fraud team. I will do that. Those people have to be punished.

More than just a dealership! My first visit to Star Nissan was back in 2009. I was looking to lease a new body style Maxima. Like any consumer I did my shopping around. I had probably visited about 3 other dealers in Queens. I was almost ready to give up and go with another less expensive model, until I walked into Star. To my surprise Star was able to BEAT all the other dealers. My sales rep was Lionel Benjamin, he was extremely professional and helpful, and most importantly got me into the Maxima I was looking for without any hassle. During the course of my lease Lionel kept in touch to make sure everything was fine with the service of the car. Even calling to wish me a happy birthday! So now at the end of my lease it was a no brainer to where I would be going. My wife told me to go to other dealers before I went back to Star just in case, and get some prices. I did, and it was the same outcome as 2009. Lionel once again Beat everyone`s price and again I drove away with my 2012 Nissan Maxima. I am proud to call Lionel my friend now, and not just some salesman. Star Nissan now has my loyalty when it comes to cars. Thanks again Star Nissan!

No complaints. The sales representative was attentive to the things i asked about. The price of the vehicle I was purchasing was okay. I hate haggling over prices so I am pretty much at the dealerships mercy, but did not feel like I was taken advantage of. All of my questions and concerns were adddressed by my sales man Jon. Follow-up questions a couple days later were also addressed in a timely manner. Jon returned my calls quickly and provided useful answers. The paperwork process did take quite a long time but then again I could of sped up that process if I had gotten pre-approved for the loan but come to think of it if I had done that I may not have gotten the greate rate Jon was able to get for me. So it all worked out for the best...Thanks

The service department for STAR Nissan is horrible. You purchase an extended warranty when buying the car and when there is a problem the "specialized mechanics" at the Nissan service center can't seem to produce what you are claiming has happenend in order for them to fix it. At an hourly rate of 106.00 per hour you would think that they could fix anything. They always have an answer to avoid fixing the concern. We have been going back and forth with the service department about a rattling sound that we hear in our 2006 Murano. Initially we were told to change the type of gas, we have changed the type of gas and there was still no resolution of the problem. They changed the catalytic converter twice because they said it could be to blame. Well it's not the noise is still rattling away I gave up on trying to have them fix the problem. Another problem is the passenger door in the front creaks which is quite annoying they repadded the door the noise continued. They said I had to purchase a new door because they could do nothing about the creaking of the door. Next problem the driver's seat, is cracked their response was that maybe we do not know how to sit on the seat. I contacted Nissan North America about this one but they said the manager from the service station indicated that the customer is to blame for the seat therefore nothing can be done. This whole fiasco took about 7 months to resolve with their final answer being I can purchase a new seat for 1600.00 dollars. Nissan I am sorry to say does not stand behind their products. When people ask me how I like the Murano I tell them and I am sure that the money Nissan would have spent to correctly fix the problems I had would have been less than the "advertising" they are getting now when people ask me for my opinion. Stay away not worth the headaches, buy American from now on.

the agreed upon price prior to starting the paperwork was not the same when it came to signing. the final price was significantly higher.i chose to get the "remote engine start" option and was not told that they would take my actual key to install it into my car and tried to make me pay a few hundred dollars for a "replacement" key, which took hours of arguing.when i made an appointment 24 hours in advance to come in and speak with my salesperson about some issues i was having with the car, he was not present because he overslept. i had to wait 3+ hours for him to finally arrive.when i received my car, i noticed that one a/c vent was not sticking out and not properly set. when i brought it to the dealership, they tried forcing and twisting it back into place in front of me, leaving numerous scratches on the inside of the framework before they decided that it was faulty and needed to order a replacement part. although the scratches were not visible once it was replaced.in less than one year of owning my new car, it started making weird noises so i brought it to the dealer repair shop and found out that there was a huge crack in my engine. the dealership tried to void my warranty because they said the reason was that i had not gotten oil changes at the appropriate times and tried to make me pay thousands of dollars unless i could provide proof that i had gotten oil changes. i had to dig through almost a year of receipts and when i finally proved that i actually had gotten more oil changes than was necessary, did they finally agree that it is supposed to be covered under my warranty.i finally got fed up and got rid of the car in less than 3 years of ownership. i let the dealership know how unpleasant i was throughout this entire ordeal and vowed never to return.

I went in to Star Nissan looking for a new, low priced Nissan Versa (the bottom of the line model appears to be extremely rare). My sales person worked with me to find a perfect very low miles used Versa, and to hold it to my very tight budget. In the end, I feel I got the perfect car, the service was great and friendly, the usual "back room" routine was not the least bit coercive, and I left feeling I had gotten a great deal and a great car. Other staff was also very friendly, making the entire visit a pleasurable and stress free.

I purchased my 1998 Altima from Star Nissan and while driving it more than 100,000 miles, I have been able to always rely on Star Nissan for maintenance and repairs. They have certainly come to know me and my Nissan over the years and they have provided excellent customer service. That does not mean that there have not been a couple of slip ups, but they always do whatever it takes to correct the problem/issue. In November/December, 2009, I was baited and switched on the price, lied to, and as a "compromise", I had to accept "add-ons" that I didn't need or want, and have never used since. I lease three vehicles every three years for the past 20 years from Star - NEVER AGAIN. My loyalty is not appreciated and I will not be abused by them again. My husband and I run a big office together, so we don't have a lot of time to waste at a car dealership, especially when it is an open-and-shut-deal. After getting a phone call to come right now, Tommy kept us waiting for two hours when we came to sign papers and pick up my car. When we finally got in front of him, he took every phone call and conversed with every guy that poked his head into his office. Then we had to sit there quietly while he completed papers for another customer! Finally, he changed our terms and lease price, and was horribly rude and condescending to us. I wanted desperately to walk out without the car, but my husband convinced me to stay and just get it over with. Instead of leaving the dealership in a happy state of mind in a pretty little red Sentra, I drove it one mile directly to my home, parked it and didn't even look at it for three weeks. I love the car, but every time I drive it I am reminded of "Sleazy Tommy" and his success at nailing me for a higher lease price (and unnecessary add-ons) than I and the sales manager had already agreed to.Congratulations Nissan! Good job at getting those few extra bucks per month for 39 months.For what it's worth: Star's Service Department seems to do much better in achieving customer satisfaction, at least in my experience.

When comes to financing manger even worse than the sales person, I obvious qualify for 0% APR financing however he stated I only qualify for 5.99% for 36 months??? Wow..... after few exchanges and finally he admits I will qualify for 0% APR financing however I must to agree to purchase bunch of junks for around 4k...???? Stay away from this garbage dealership! waste of time ! time of the purchase was September / 2009

Purchasing a car at any dealership is not the end of buying process. you also need to service the car in the dealer's service center. I bought my 2002 Nissan Sentra newno problem and have taken it for service on a regular basis. long story short. the service technicians tell you there is something wrong with the car when there aren't any. for example, I had my brakes and rotors changed once. Cost me $400. 1.5 years later, they told me the same thing. I got so pissed off, I left. Afterwards, I went to a local mechanic in Flushing. I told them I needed to changethe brakes. They looked at it, and they told me they were as good as new.I really felt betrayed by the dealer's service center cause I placed faith with themNeedless to say, I never went back there for anything.Lesson to learn. If you go to Star Nissan service center, and then they tell you a story that you need to get this or that fixed and its going to cost you a lot of money. do yourself a favor, save your self some money, and take your car to another mechanice and get a second opnion. there is a VERY good chance that Star Nissan is overcharging you for unnessesary repairs or repairs you don't even need.

True about bait and switch. I was quoted one price on a lease and had written agreement, then when I went to arrange to pick up the car even though I have excellent credit I was told because I was unemployed Nissan Financing raised the interest on the lease (BULL!!!!!!!). I was told by 3 other dealers Nissan does not do that. I got my money back and went with a Honda instead. Too bad the cars are good but the dealerships are so sleazy you get soured on the car and go with another brand.

I wish I could rate them 0. Completely agree with a couple of posts above "bait and switch". My fiance went by himself to pick up the car and work through the finances, they gave him 7% (he have excellent credit score and got 5.5% quote from HSBC 2 weeks before), but the bait is - if you purchase the extended warranty program, the rate is 4.29%. That's fine. But of course when he called me and I calculated the monthly payment, the number isn't what they said would be. (like someone posted here, I am a finance person and knows amortization and stuff). Then they switched to "the warranty doesn't cover this and that and you should upgrade to this", which is $700 more and the interest rate went up to 4.99%. After 4 and half hours back and forth, he eventually took it for "peace of mind" with the warranty and just tired of negotiating with them. So that's their tactics - wear you out and get confused with numbers since they throw so many different ones at you. I will never ever go back to that dealer and that sales person. I'd rather pay extra money to get the car at another dealer who is honest than dealing with these liars. These are the people who ruined the reputation for the entire car salespeople, of them I do believe some are good but destroyed by these liars. How I wished I read this board before I went to Star Nissan.

Ever hear of "bait and switch". They gave me "price and switch". I have a signed lease contract for X amount, this included a cap cost reduction and monthly payments. I pay the cap cost reduction, DMV, bank fee, and taxes up front. This is what is stated in the contract. When I went to pick up the car, the finance officer told me that I should not put any money down and that I should work this into the payments because a credit score of 790 entitles me to .9% lease financing. Of course he is smiling and shmoozing as he goes through the new calculations. He gave me a new monthly payment with zero down. They must have thought or hoped that I was some idiot that couldn't add. Too bad for them that I'm in finance and understand present/future value, interest rate, and amortization calculations. They gave me a figure that would have equivalently increased my costs by almost 40%. Let's say from a $400/month payment to $550/month payment, which equals to about $6,000 more over the life of the lease. When I confronted the finance officer about this, the manager and finance officer, ganged up on me and told me that their costs have gone up. I waved the contract in front of them and told them that I have a contract that stated the payments agreed upon. They told me that the fine print on their contract allows them to change the price. Again, too bad for them that I can read. Here's a quote from a relevant portion of the fine print:"THE TOTAL CAH-PRICE DELIVERED LESS THE TRADE-IN ALLOWANCE SHOWN ON THE FRONT OF THIS AGREEMENT IS THE FINAL CONTRACT PRICE TO WHICH YOU AND I HAVE AGREED, AND, IF THE VEHICLE IS A NEW MOTOR VEHICLE, NO ADDITIONAL FEE OR CHARGE WILL BE IMPOSED OR COLLECTED DUE TO CHANGES IN THE MANUFACTURER'S LIST PRICE, OR CHANGES IN THE COST OF FREIGHT OR SERVICES PROVIDED BY YOU"Fairly clear cut iron clad agreement wouldn't you say? Basically, they can't increase your costs if their costs increase. I have no trade in, so, that doesn't apply. To me, it seems like outright fraud when they tried to structure the payments differently, thus, resulting in a 40% increase.On another note, the contract was signed in early May. They gave me 2 delivery dates which they failed to deliver. They gave me the excuse that it did not come in the shipment. Give me a break, in today's world of information at your fingertips, you can't track a $35K item? I friggin make a $10 purchase from amazon.com and I'll know if it's been shipped, what state, and what hub it's in. So, after 10 weeks waiting, numerous phone calls, showing up at the dealership over 5 times, and spending about 20 hours overall on this matter, I have no car and left them my deposit.In any case, it is out of my hands now. My attorney is looking into the matter for punitive and compensatory litigation. I am so pissed off that I've been jerked around, lied to, and having them attempt to defraud me that I would not even settle out of court. It's not a money matter anymore when they tried to defraud me. I want them to go to trial and admit their guilt. I'm sure that this has happened to many people in my area. Many of their consumers do not speak English as their first language, may be culturally shy, and do not know their legal rights. I'm sure they have been victimized and have preyed on other customers successfully.Oh yeah, just one quickieee... I'm suspicious of the "good" reviews. I'll just say that I think they may have a hidden agenda. I've owned or leased so many cars in my life and never thought about spending time to post reviews online.

I purchased a used vehicle knowing that it had issues with the balance and brakes. The salesman stated that I could still buy the vehicle and they would fix all the issues that was wrong with the vehicle. They never stood good on their word and now I have to fork over over $1,000 to get it fixed. The salesman himself was sweet, but the managers were complete jerkoffs.

Waste of time liar liar will lie to their mother bad salesmanship poor and disrespectful crew who all act like they are the big boss and can cut you the deal of the year poorly delivered vehicle thats as scratches who would want a new car with scratches hmmm no one! Management that will avoid you at all cost how the hell does a dealership like this one stay a float how is owned by a terrorist group or what buyer beware!!!!!!!

Avoid this dealership, they will rip you off. We got a 8 % finance fee and was told we have to buy warranty, etch, alram and lojack to get in the low 5% APR. This is not true people. You already qualified for what is called a "buy rate". Usually dealers will bump you an average .75% but this place uses that excuse to charge you more. If they tell you that qualify for 10% but you need to buy all these aftermarket products in order to ghet 6%, GET UP AND LEAVE!!! You do not need that deal or even have to deal with this dealership or this brand of vehicle. THey tried the same thing on me and when I told them what I knew they tried to play it off with "ooo you brought a vehicle from us few years ago, discount .25% and ooooo there is another discount .25% this and that and your new rate is 5.75%" THEY ARE RIPPING YOU OFF. SOME OF THE SALESPEOPLE REALLY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING. SERIOUSLY, ASK THEM WHAT THEY ARE SELLING. GO TO ANOTHER NISSAN DEALERSHIP. I actually do hope people read this and realize that this dealership is ripping people off. Etching is not $600 how they claim, and yes you can say no to a deal, you can have a deposit refunded by law, and yes a buyers order is legally not bidding. Wake up people and avoid this dealership. People like this should not be in the car business, its gives other decent salespeople a bad name.

THEY PROMISED ME FOR A PRICE OVER THE PHONE OF A CAR AT A CERTAIN PRICE THEREFORE I BROUGH MY FRIEND THERE TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE. WHEN WE MET, WE SIGNED THE PAPER AND PUT DOWN THE DEPOSIT. WHEN IT COMES TO THE APR, THEY FIRST JACKED IT UP TO 9.75% AND WHEN ASKED IF HE CAN DO BETTER. HE GAVE ME A 7.75 APR BUT MUST COME WITH $6500 OF WARRTY SERVICE. WHEN I ASKED TO TAKE THE WARRANTY OFF, HE SAID HE COULDN'T AND ITS PART OF THE CONTRACT. WHEN I REFUSED TO SIGN FOR THE CONTRACT, THEY THREATEN ME THAT I CANNOT GET MY DEPOSIT BACK (WORTH OF 11,000). I WAS VERY VERY UPSET BUT THEY DID NOT CARE BUT TO FORCE ME TO TAKE THE CONTRACT BY LOWERING THE APR AGAIN TO 5.74% WITH $6500 OF WARRANTY SERVICE. THEY SAID THE CAR TITLE WAS REGISTED UNDER OUR NAME, AND IT IS OUR FAULT THAT WE ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THE CONTRACT. I NEVER FELT SO THREATEN AND UNAPPRECIATED BY A DEALERSHIP. THE SALE PRICE OF THE CAR WAS $30,400. AT THE END IT CAME OUT TO $48,000. WHEN I ASKED FOR A MANAGER THEY TOLD ME THE MANAGER WAS NOT THERE. WHEN WE ASKED TO COME BACK THE NEXT DAY, THEY SAID NO. AND THEY ALSO BELITTLING ME WHEN I TOLD MY FRIEND NOT TO GET THE CAR. THEY TOLD ME,"ITS NONE OF MY BUSINESS, I AM NOT THE ONE PURSHACING THE CAR, AND I AM RUIN EVERYTHING. I DON'T KNOW WHAT AM I TALKING ABOUT AND ASKED ME HOW MANY CAR HAD I PURCHASE BEFORE IN MY LIFE. " I WAS SO ANGRY I HAD AN OUT BURST WITH THEM. TRUST ME, DONT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. THEY ARE NOTHING BUT LIARS, THEY GIVE U A QUOTE FOR LOW PRICES BUT SOMEHOW THEY WILL JACK EVERYTHING ELSE SO EVENTUALLY THEY MAKE PLENTY OFF OF YOU. I FELT TERRIBLE TO TAKE MY FRIEND THERE. AND NOW THEY SIGNED A CONTRACT FOR 6 YEARS OF TOTAL $48,000 CAR WHEN IT WAS ORIGNALY COST $30,400. MY FRIEND WAS A FIRST TIME BUYER AND CLEARLY THEY WERE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF OFF. I HATE THIS DEALERSHIP SO MUCH AS LONG AS I LIVED IN THIS PLANET EARTH, I WILL TELL EACH AND EVERY PERSON HOW HORRIBLE THIS DEALERSHIP IS. OH, DID I MENTION THAT THEY WERE SO UNPROFESSIONAL THAT THE FINANCE GUY WAS SMOKING INSIDE THE SHOWROOM, IN FRONT OF US WHILE TALKING TO US? YEA, I HAD SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE THAT I DONT EVER THINK I WILL PURCHASE ANOTHER NISSAN!!!

I made the mistake of purchasing a 97 VW Jetta from this dealership. They assured me they would do right by me however cars over 100,000 have no warranty. I'm sure they where aware of that fact. I trusted them and I paid for it.

Star Nissan in Bayside, Queens was the best car purchasing experience in my life. I was confused to read two of the comments but I totally agree with the guy who gave Star Nissan 5 stars. The employees there took amazing care of me and no one could beat their price. John (the guy who sold me the Nissan) knew everything about the car and you couldn't ask for a nicer person. If you want to buy a Nissan I strongly suggest going to Star Nissan because as a customer, I couldn't be happier. The least I can do for them is try to explain how great their service was to me. I hope other people hoping to purchase a Nissan go to Star Nissan so they can have a positive car buying experience.

I went to buy a maxima for my momon a sunday, we worked out a price(and put down $1000 deposit) and the next days we supposed to get financing done. I wasn't able to go with her so she went by herself. She has tier1 credit, the financing person told her she got approved for a 11%apr and he can help her out by giving her a 9%apr and he will add $2500 for an extended warranty. I spoke to this guy on the phone, he was lying out of his ass. these people are very unproffesional and unethic. The sales person and the finace guy had jerked me couple of years ago at nemet nissan dealership, but the star dealership seemed to be worse by lying right into your face with out hesitation. I told my mom to just leave the dealership and we will apply for a loan seprate. I got a loan for my mom form captialone in like 10mins for 6.25%apr. What a difference. Never trust these dealerships, they stated they will give my mom a passive alarm on the car for free when it is a standard item on 2007 maxima's, if she signs the lone for 9% and the $2500 in warranty.
