I've had my 2004 Yukon serviced at Stillwater Motors for years and decided it was time to look at trading it in. DJ recommended I work with Corey. He was great. After telling him what we were looking for and the price range we wanted to be in, he showed us a 2016 Equinox. He worked with us on getting the lease payment we could afford and a trade in on the Yukon. The closing went very quickly as he was able to take a lot of our information over the phone. The woman that helped us in financing was very helpful as well. We love the new vehicle and I would recommend this dealership.

Have had a problem when truck goes from 4 cyl to 8 cyl. They keep telling me it is suppose to do that yet GM's bulletin says that this action happens in 250 miliseconds and is not detectable to the ear. I can hear it and it bothers the heck out of me. What they told me to do is use the manual mode and lock it in 5th gear, if I do that it stays in 8 cyl mode which makes driving it more bearable.

Had a check engine light on, took it to an auto parts store for it to be scanned and it came up with five codes for different sensors. Your guys determined that it had a hose disconnected which caused the sensors to read as a fault. They put the hose back on and so far so good!

I came in for an oil change on our 2014 Silverado (we actually bought it here as well). I wasn't even aware that it was due for tire rotation. The service center staff looked it up, told me what was needed, offered me a ride home (I waited there) had me in and out in no time, no hassle, no issues and great service! the waiting area is also very comfortable, which is a huge plus in my book. We even talked at lenght when he lost a family member. We have been customers for years there buying numerous cars and all our maintenance has been completed there. My engine light came on Monday morning, truck is under warranty, brought it directly to the dealership, wanted a loaner car since it is under warranty and I had meetings to get to. No loaners available so Bob did a scan on why the light was on. He told me it was a circuit for the fuel level something or other, safe to drive, made an appt for Wednesday morning (today) got a loaner. He calls me just now they have to order the part. Really you knew I was bringing it in today and you could not have the parts on hand to fix it today? I have a rental car that they call an SUV it is a small box. Nothing like my high end Silverado High Country and I have to drive it until sometime tomorrow. NOT HAPPY at all. When I went in on Monday drove in, waited in my truck and pretty cool restored truck pulled in behind me the guys flocked to that one, not to my truck which was in their first. I really love my truck and now need to find a dealership in the area that will take care of me even though I did not purchase my truck through them. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Service department.

My 2010 LaCrosse with 38,000 miles stalled twice in heavy traffic last week and the maintenance light came on with a code to transmission. The latter specialist decided that code did not cause car to stall. It was recommended that I have the emission system cleaned for $147. This was much cheaper than going into transmission that was estimated to cost $1100. I greatly appreciate this honesty and savings to me. The best guess is that I had an emission system problem which hopefully it was.

Had some damage done to my new vehicle. Got a quote from a collision service center and then brought my car to Stillwater Motors for a second opinion. I felt very taken care of, everything was explained to me about how the repair would be done. Friendly and knowledgeable employees. I even discovered that the first estimate was incorrect at the previous place and they were doing so many extra things that didn't need to be done. I had my 2013 Chevy 3500 Express 12ft cutaway van (Box Truck) serviced at Stillwater Chevy. This included the oil change and Tire rotation. I went to 5 chevy dealers around the Cottage Grove/Hastings area only to be told that the van was to big and heavy for them to work on (including the Dealer that sold it to me) I just wanted it serviced I wasn't asking for a transmission replacement or any major work done (luckily). When I bought my new 2015 chevy 2500HD Silverado I asked the service dept if they could work on my box truck/van telling them what I had. They said no problem bring it in. I was still not sure at first if they could rotate the tires for me seems like a simple thing to do in my opinion but I did ask 5 dealers who couldn't do it. After dropping it off at the dealer they called me in around an hour to let me know it was done I was amazed on how quick it was completed. When I picked it up I looked under the hood and all the fluids were topped off and the tires had been rotated I marked one tire to make sure it was done. The Stillwater Chevy service dept gets Two thumbs up from me I will continue bringing my box truck to them from now on. Thanks Stillwater Chevy for doing a great job. Steve Lawson

The body shop manager knew exactly what I was talking about. Got me in that day and had a loaner for me immediately. He explained everything fully to me. Good customer service. I do want to taint GM for not putting in the seam seals any longer which then allowed a 11 month old car to start to rust on the bottom of the doors. (Car only had 4600 miles on it too and is in the garage when not being driven).

He guided me on paperwork that was mostly done online before arriving at the dealership, and the car was ready to go upon arrival. He did an excellent job showing me all the features that were included with the vehicle that I purchased. When I arrived all I had to do is sign some paperwork, and learn features of new vehicle and I was driving off the lot within an hour of arrival. Impressed that no appointment was necessary for oil change and tire rotation. I checked in, and vehicle was ready to go in 35 minutes !!! I didn't even need to check out at cashier, since I was contracted by a "purchase package" of 9 oil changes. Service rep just handed me keys and said "we're done and here are your keys.

Sorry I was unable to respond sooner as I was out of town. About my recent service experience, it was special in that it involved a team action. It started with the usual expert service guidance that Frank provides for my Tahoe's maintenance and advice on what to do to keep my Tahoe in showroom condition. Once the scheduled maintenance wascompleted, my Tahoe was turned over to the auto body shop for a part replacement that Todd ordered in time for this to be done in a single appointment. When I arrived, Frank initiated my service and then became extremely busy and successfully helping other customers with critical issues. During that time, I want to thank Jon and Chris for their assistance with ensuring that the maintenance was done and my vehicle moved to the auto body garage in a timely manner, while they were servicing their customers too. I also want to thank the Tech for doing a good job on the maintenance side and completing his thorough inspection.On the auto body side, I thank Todd for the work he did and a special thank you to Dixie for her efforts in helping meet my showroom criteria. She went out of her way to do so and it was an extra effort that I really appreciated. Final thanks to Frank and Dixie for aligning efforts and exceeding my expectations. Thank you!

I found a car at Stillwater Motors through Car.com and submitted an email with a question about the history of the vehicle, it was a 2015 that had been plated. I got an automated response, as one might expect, but I never heard from anyone with a response to my initial question...no phone, no email, no nothing other than computer generated emails, which I eventually had to "unsubscribe" from...annoying. Each email was sent from Ben Stewart the Internet Manager at Stillwater Motors. Follow-up on my question would have taken little time or effort - it was a simple vehicle history question. Image what the experience would be like if the task was actually something that took time and effort??? After three attempts with no response, I finally gave up - too many car dealers around who actually provide customer service, respond to inquiries and want to make some money.

Called for a quote for a new 2012 Chevrolet Volt lease. When I got to the dealership the price was the same as quoted over the phone. They didn't try to talk me into a bunch of useless add-ons. Called for service on a car I had purchased on craigslist. The people I bought it from had the car towed in to Stillwater Motors because the battery was dead for two years. They got the car running and and replaced a module that probably didn't need to be replaced. There were lots of service codes still needing to be addressed, but the sellers didn't want to spend any more money on it. The owner had Alzheimers and the family was selling his possessions.As the buyer I took a chance and purchased the car. I called the service dept and Bob K. remembered the car, and he could not even guess how much it would cost to finish the work. He made an excuse that it could have corrosion and he would have to charge $127 and hour. It needed the radio unlocked, the crankshaft position relearned, and airbag sensors reset all do to low voltage because the battery went dead. He also said he had 19 years of experience. I think it was 19 years of fleecing customers. So long story shortened, I took it to MAIN MOTORS in Anoka,mn and they had it ready to go for under $200. Now I understand again why people don't trust Dealerships.

First on my venture I stopped by the dodge dealership in Lake Elmo, MN and was treated very poorly. first they quoted me a price which was several thousand dollars more then their advertised price and then when I questioned that they basically told me my money was no good at their dealership. Then I went to Stillwater Motors. As I walked through the door I was treated with respect and class. The sales rep that came up to me, told me he would assist me in finding my new car. He went above and beyond the call of duty and when all was said and done I purchased a new 2014 Chevy Cruze. Salesman had lots of patience as we looked at used cars and could not fine the one we wanted, He took time to explain all out options and after we bought the car, spent a good deal of time explaining all the features. He has been helpful since in answering questions. The facility is very nice and has a receptionist that is apparently well trained and helpful.

Hi Stillwater Motors! We purchased a 2014 Encore from Stillwater Motors on April 5th, and were very pleased with our sales person Kevin McCauley. Kevin was very polite, and very knowledgeable. He explained in detail all aspects of our Encore. After the purchase of our car, we had more questions about operation of some of the equipment. He seemed more than willing to show us how, and did. Kevin also said if anything else came up to just call him! We highly recommend Kevin!

I just bought a 2014 Silverado High Country model from Stillwater Motors. This place was by far the best as far as any experience that I have had purchasing a vehicle. We went in one Saturday not realizing that they had closed at 5 that day, it was near 5:30. Mike, the sales manager was there and greeted us, he did not rush us, asked questions and was very interested in what we wanted. We felt bad that it was after hours but he was there to help us. The following Friday I sent out a flurry of emails through a website to several dealerships detailing what I was looking for. Steve Step from Stillwater responded to our email, I explained that we had spoken with Mike the previous Saturday. Mike remembered us and what we were looking for including my color choice, the White Diamond TriCoat. Steve and Mike shot us back a price, we took my Avalanche in for them to look at for a trade (8 years old and still a great truck, but I wanted a newer one) They wrote up the trade agreement and pricing on the truck I liked and we went to a few other dealerships. None as friendly as Stillwater and none as non pressure as Stillwater. We called Steve back 45 minutes before the dealership closed and said we were buying the truck from them. We then rushed back to Stillwater to finalize a few details, like adding running boards and a bed cover, along with dealing with financing. We were pre qualified through our credit union, but Stillwater beat the interest rate by .20%. We arranged to pick up the truck and sign final papers on Monday. It was all very easy, and we were in and out within an hour. I love my truck and I really love Stillwater Motors, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle. Again, it was the best experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. Thank you so much Guys! You have a customer for many years to come.

After recently moving states, it came time to buy a vehicle. After months of searching in the area, we couldn't find a dealer that was up front with us about pricing, and had great customer service. We decided to go purchase our vehicle from our hometown a state away! The price was significantly lower, and they did a fabulous job working with us to make sure everything would run smoothly. We just picked our new car up this past weekend & we couldn't be happier! The customer service was awesome, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Me and my husband bought a '07 Chevy Impala from this dealership in July '13 and we are happy with our purchase. At the time we were deciding between 2 cars and the sales staff were helpful with their advice and pointed out things we should think about to find a better fitting car for our needs. Jim was a very excellent salesman that really knows his cars, and helped find the right car for our growing family! As a mother, I feel comfortable with the safety of this used vehicle. For the price of the car it was in great shape and low miles, and they even gave us a free oil change. I can tell that these people really care about their customers, and are passionate about their jobs!

I sent in a request online and was emailed right away. Lauri kept in contact with me and if I called and she wasn't available she'd call me right back. I got the exact 2014 Equinox I was looking for and they were willing to match another price I was quoted.The whole buying process took just under 2 hours. Very happy with my experience.

After calling and giving the sales rep a 2-1/2 hour notice of my arrival, we pull in to find him and another sales rep trying to jump start the vehicle I drove down there to look at. After looking at my trade in for no more than 2 minutes I was offered $2000.00 below book value even though I was told it in was in excellent condition with very low milage. The finance person said he got us an excellent rate of 3.25% (we've since re-financed at 1.99%) and was not about to let us leave without purchasing an extended warrenty at a cost of $1990. The overall process to purchase the vehicle was just over 4-1/2 hours! We walked out with a quick thank you from the sales rep and a bottle of water for the 2-1/2 hour ride home. Although I love my new vehicle, I would have to say it was by far the worse buying experience of my life

As soon as I walked in the door I met Norm and told him what I was looking for. He showed me what they had (I had a car in mind before I got there) and showed me it's features. We sat down to discusss my trade ( going from 2 cars to 1 car so had 2 trade-ins) and he and another fellow went out to look at my car ( I later returned and they saw the other car). After giving me the appraisal, which was fine, we started talking price and I agreed to the bottom line. Norm is a great guy and is very honest in his dealings. Jor the business manager was extremely friendly and courteous and Sam,the young lady who showed me how many of the features worked, was just as nice and friendly as Norm and Jor. All in all the best experience I have ever had buying a new car. Also had a brief conversation with Daniel Raduenz the owner and he was extremely nice also. A great dealership that I would recommend to anyone.
