My Son is in the Air Force and currently is deployed overseas. He had been contacting several dealerships in the Des Moines area to help him secure a new vehicle before his return. Multiple dealerships refused to work with him. Peter Wall from Stivers went the extra mile to get him a new truck. He handled all the paperwork and sent it overseas including monitoring the documents travel. He even made sure that my son could secure the Ford Military discount. I looked on line for a car with a certain amout of miles and year and found what I was looking for. I sent a message to the interent staff at Stivers I wanted to do a test drive. I went to drive the lincoln MKZ with Peter Wall, he answered all my questions and then some . very nice guy!! I went home and thought about it over night and returned to make a purchase. With in 3 hours I was driving my 2007 Lincoln home, I love this car, took it on a long drive the first weekend Ihad it, and did 23mpg, and what a comfortable quite ride. Thank you so much for every thing Peter Wall, and Todd. I get so many comments on how sharp this car is, and asked where i bought it I refer them to Stivers in Waukee, very pleasant people and great place to buy a good car.

Unexpectedly I had to buy a car and make a same-day purchase with no chance opportunity to comparison shop. Even though they knew that I was in a jam and had to purchase, Anthony worked with me to find the right car at a price point in budget. His knowledge of their inventory, products, and features was impressive. I left with a car that I really like and I am highly satisfied with this experience. Matt Lahr was extremely patient and explained the same things repeatedly when I couldn't understand some of the financing topics. There was no pressure from them to buy, they were extremely courteous and personable. Oh, I was in and out for Stivers Ford very quickly: arrived at 6:00 and the whole deal was done (including shopping and financing) in a few short hours.

I had an oil change appointment at 5:50pm - got there at 5:00pm, my first oil change - a freebie and I got what I paid for! Truck was not taken in until just before 6:00pm. There were very few service mechanics in shop. Writer said they were hit hard - but it appears they sent some mechanics home. The service manager hit the door at 5:00pm. My oil was changed and wipers replaced. When they removed my oil filter - oil ran all over the cross member and was not cleaned up. I had an oil spot on my drive way in the morning and oil had blown all over parts of the truck behind the cross member. Also, the service area floor was filthy - mud and other debris. I am contemplating never returning. There was a vehicle getting brakes and it looked like there was just less than half the pad left - and the mechanice was rushing to get done - was it done right? Very concerned on quality of work I saw.

After contacting a few other area dealers and their frustrating sales tactics I decided to reach out to Stivers not expecting anything different - boy was I wrong! Anthony worked with me through a few brief emails - offered a great price for my trade- a fair price for the new truck and even offered to close the deal at 5:30 on a Saturday! We arrived at the dealership to find the truck already to go, handed over the trade, signed a few papers and we're done and driving away in less than 45 min. No after sale add on pressure, no pressure to take their financing (we brought our own) they even gave us a great deal on a few add in accessories that were promptly installed the next business day. We couldn't be happier with the buying experience. This was our first visit to Stivers but won't be our last!

Just bought my 4th vehicle from Stivers! Todd Holland and his sales representatives are amazing. I never got the run around and Todd helped us with anything we needed including helping us get documentation for financing. As always my car is flawless! I have owned the focus, Taurus and fiesta. I loved them all! Their vehicles are completely safe as I was in a severe accident with my Taurus. All vehicles on this lot are mechanically sound and the service department is A++

I stopped in only to see what type of discount I received from work and 3 hours later I was driving home in my first brand spanking new car. Kyle was very thorough and showed me everything about the car as well as how to use the back up camera. Kit worked everything quickly to get me 0% interest during their sale. It was basically a deal I couldn't say not to at all. I really felt like the whole experience was (nerve wracking as I haven't had a car payment in years) But Kyle wasn't pushy he just worked with what I wanted to pay and nothing more. I have already recommended them to my co-workers!

I had a great experience at Stivers. I had gone to a couple other dealers, only to come out frustrated. I drove onto their lot, talked to Brian Schroeder about what I was wanting, he showed me 2 or 3 cars, I really liked one, but it didn't have heated seats, which was a must for me. Brian arranged for the car to get heated seats installed within a few days, even loaning me his car while mine was being worked on. Brian was great to work with!

Anthony Meyers was awesome! The day we went and looked at the car and saw the numbers for loan and payments we weren't sure. We were shocked when they said we could take the car over night. I went to have the oil changed and that went ok but when they told me it was ready they said at my next oil change i should have the transmission oil changed as it is to be done at 60,000 miles which would be at my next oil change I went home checked my manual it said 150,000 miles I called Lincoln customer service they said I was correct. They than got in touch with Stivers who admitted that I was given wrong info and they would call me and apologize that was 3 days ago Have heard nothing as of yet!! I have had other problems with Stivers so this is nothing new.

We bought a new Ford F-150 2013 from Stivers and Erik Trabert treated use like we were celebrities. We had stopped at Stew Hansen's Dodge on our way to Stivers because we were indecisive on whether to get a Ford or Dodge. We stood in the rain walking the lot looking at trucks for around 45 minutes and no one came over to help us not even the ones who were outside moving vehicles around on the lot.We got to Stivers and were greated by Erik in the rain. He listened to all we had to say about what we were looking for. And we bought the perfect truck a 2013 Ford F-150.We decided to look at the 2016 trucks at Stivers. Erik remembered us immediately. Again, we got the red carpet rolled out for us (again it was a day filled with rain). We bought our New Ford F-150 again from the one and only Dealer who really puts customers 1st-STIVERS!!!

We purchased a car from this dealership. The credit department was horrible and they lie about things. They said we had to get protection for the car or we couldn't get loan. I know know it's illegal to make you buy one. We asked for our date to pay evey month to be after the 15th . He stated that all we had to do is call the loan company to change date. The first car we test drove the caliper on brake was only attached by one bolt. Then after seeing what we wanted we bought it. Then the credit person kept calling for us to get a new title for the trade in because they lost it. It's was bad. Never going back

WE were interested in the 2016 Lincoln MKX after reading the reviews in Consumer Reports, KBB, Edmunds & others.. We could have gone to lots of dealers but found that Stivers in Waukee, Ia have a large selection & were eager to do business.. Our experience with their salesman Ryley SChleder was excellent... He was very helpful in explaining the features of the CUV, but also why we should do biz with Stivers... After the sale, Ryley kept in touch to make sure all of our expectations were met..( they were..) We grade our experience excelnt & will recommend Stivers & Ryley to our friends....

Recently purchased a brand new SUV. Our sales rep had no idea what they were doing, how to relate to us or seemed like she cared. The presentation skills when dealing with the offers was messy. They only presented 1 option on paper instead of 3. Also when trying to negotiate all season floor mats into the deal, she checked the computer for inventory, then said they had none in stock and that was that. Very rude, unpleasant experience at Stivers. Your better off going to Woodhouse. Lastly, now my brand new car is having chip card problems as well as random sensor reads while driving.

By the time I got to Stivers, I had been to two other dealerships in the local area. We really came just to check out inventory and prices. My husband and I have worked many times with a local dealer that we trust and the only reason we even looked out of town was to see if anyone else had more specifically what we were looking for and didn't see in the local inventory. I am a pretty "cut to the chase" kind of buyer. By the time we get to a purchase, we have done our homework - what we are wanting and willing to putdown/pay per month. Kyle was honest and really got down to the bottom-line and when I told him we have been uber loyal to our previous dealership and that we just were looking to see if anyone had the car we were seeking in their inventory. He stated, "Well, I've only got one shot to show you why we are the right choice." Even though I didn't really go there to purchase, he worked with their business manager to meet every bottom-line expectation that we had. Not only did they go out of their way with the purchase - they saved us so much work in the close of our currently expiring Ford lease car. (We NEVER expected that and were thinking we would have to still do all the work for the lease group Ford uses to come, inspect and return the lease that was nearly up, which our previous dealer told us we would have to do for ourselves. THEY DID ALL OF THIS FOR US ---- WITHOUT US ASKING THEM! Now, that is above and beyond!) The last clenchers were how fast the transaction (which our experience is typically a return visit and takes many hours manually to go through) and the after sale service they told us about, wow - with an iPhone App to schedule, and hours that go from 7 AM - midnight (a big deal for us since we are an hour away). I hope all of our future interactions with them are this easy. We left the dealership --- after hours, because they stayed to complete the transaction, with a set of keys, a clean new car and a full tank of gas --- and we never expected all this, At this point, I am looking forward to working with them in the future, if they are consistent in this kind of sales and service!

stivers ford and Lincoln in waukee Iowa sold me a 2013 Dodge Dart has 100,000 mile power train warranty and came with a check list that everything was good to go and I bought the car on 02/14/2015. Now on 4/26/2016 I had to take my car to a dodge dealership because of an issue. I was advised by the manager of the dealership that my car had a major manufactures defect that may have to cause us to replace the whole engine and the whole transmission the manager also informed me that it was highly illegal for Stivers ford and Lincoln due to the federal act 49 USC 30112(b) , this can be found on www.nadafrontpage.com. When I called Stivers the manager refused to help and said that's not a law even while me and the dodge manager read it to him. Since this company can't even pay to fix the car they sold to me illegally I have already contacted the BBB and waukee police department and on Monday I will be contacting the Iowa attorney generals office and the commissioners office. I have also already contacted a lawyer to begin a major lawsuit against this unethical, unprofessional and illegal company.

They claim to have done the "gold certified 172 point inspection" yet things that are on the list don't work right and were never fixed. I hate to think what else didn't get checked, if they are willing to completely ignore the things I CAN check! To make matters worse, we had a low tire and when we brought it to a mechanic they said they wouldn't plug it because it was in such bad shape. All four tires were bad--he went on to say that he couldn't believe a dealership would sell a car with four tires in the shape they were in. Stiver's promise of a 172 point inspection is intended to give you peace of mind that you are buying from a credible and trustworthy dealership however it is nothing but BS! Buyer beware. They sold me a car with a 90 day warranty, so I hope that isn't a bunch of BS too, and they fix the things that were supposed to be fixed before the sale of the car.

Started with the service department and the inability to reach my one and only service advisor that could give me updates to my service request. No one else in the service department could answer any questions about the service I was getting. Once I was finally able to speak to someone willing to answer my questions (3 days), they could not assure me what they were going to repair would actually solve the problem I was having. Moved over to the sales department. Sales person assured me the truck he was recommending would absolutely, positively do the job I needed to do with that truck. It did not. Nice truck, just not big enough to pull a trailer without having to spend $600 on a load leveling, sway bar system. Will cost me more as I have to retrofit my other two trailers. Sent him two emails and he never answered. Get to pay for a truck for 3 years that will simply not do the job I need it to do without spending more money to nurse it along. Disappointed. Nice truck, just not what I need.

I appreciate from beginning to end that Peter ensured I was a happy customer. From the start of my journey back in November when I first start looking for a Truck to replace my current lease. He was very detailed and patient as I as a MILLION questions about not only the new F-150 but asking for estimates of payments with certain down payment amounts vs leasing, appraising my current lease for turn in, etc. In the end I ended up not purchasing a vechicle but decided I would look a little longer as I had a few months til my lease was up. Peter was very understanding of my decision and one of my favorite things about him was not pushy in the end. Didn't try to push something on me that I wasn't 100% sold on or call a bunch of times after to bug me. Due to this when I did see a truck I was very interested in I reached back out to him and his team. I was in and out within a couple of hours including once again my million questions, test drive and financing. When I had a questions about the truck after purchasing Peter was always willing to answer my questions. I will be using him again for purchases in the future. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that I was in on a Saturday, and there were some bottlenecks due to limited staff (mostly finance). The overall experience was great. Anthony had the car inside on a day when wind chills were sub zero. We had a great test drive, and my trade-in was quickly appraised. Although we had to wait, they did have a nice lounge, and I was able to watch the same basketball game on their DirecTV that I would have watched at home.Everyone was friendly, and Anthony made the experience feel personal. I love the Ford CPO package. My Fusion is a purchase I haven't regretted in the month I've had it.

A most excellent experience. We had pre shopped online and knew what we were looking for. The sales person understood and immediately showed us the 2 vehicles we had seen. He was knowledgeable and respectful of our time crunch as we live in Indianola and were on our way to a funeral in Van Meter. It was marvelous to test drive, do a few negotiations by phone and pick up my "new" vehicle on the way home from Van Meter.

I was just out looking to see what Ford had available to replace my aging Chrysler Town and Country. When I stopped at StiversI was met by Kyle Meinecke. He listened to what I was looking for & he suggested I test drive an Edge or an Explorer. We started with the Explorer & after the test drive I felt I didnt need to look any farther & decided to purchase the explorer. Kyle was very professional & didnt make me feel like I was being pressured in anyway. I want to thank Kyle & Brian, I believe Brian was the sales manager, for a very enjoyable experience. Don't forget to look in your own back yard when looking for a new vehicle. I am not the easiest customer and had been in the dealership a couple of months ago just to see what the possibilities were for a new Ford Expedition. The salesman, Erik, was very knowledgable and friendly but did not push for a sale. Several months later,when my car reach the 100.000 mile mark , I realized it was time to buy a new vehicle. I checked on line and at some dealerships to see what was out there. Since I really liked my car and the service that Stivers Ford Lincoln has provided, I went back in and talked to Erik. The car of my dreams was not in the shop but he could get it for me in a couple of days and he did. The service and expertise of Erik are outstanding and if you are looking to replace your vehicle, I can highly recommend Stivers Ford in Waukee.

My husband and I traveled 8 hours to purchase a vehicle from Stivers. They had the best price, by far, around. We communicated with a sales rep several times before making the trip. He was very helpful! He made the deal happen over the phone. When we arrived, we were helped promptly and they were very accommodating since we were not local. They were even able to beat our bank's rates! The sales rep walked us through how to use all the features in the car. He made sure we were 100% satisfied before we left. I ended up at Stivers after lots of online research and visits to other dealerships in the area looking for a particular 2015 F150 truck. To be honest, I walked into the dealership planning to walk out when they began the high pressure sales push like the other dealerships had done to me. Or if they treated me like a "dumb woman" like they had elsewhere. But I was pleasantly surprised. Anthony Meyers was very courteous, straight-forward, and a pleasure to deal with. There was no high pressure sales push from this guy! And I never once felt like I was being talked down to as I had at other dealerships. I ended purchasing that truck from Anthony and couldn't be happier. He will definitely have my future business!

I went from a 2013 to a 2015 F150 truck, clearly a handful of new features, options, and functions. Erik Trabert was very respectful and phenomenal in explaining all this to me as he walked me through them, and ensuring personalized settings were set-up for me while in extreme heat might I add, dedication at its finest! Also, I had requested after-market work done, this meant that I would be without a truck for two days; Erik ensured that I had loaner truck to drive, and after-market worked completed met all my expectation upon returning.The Stivers experience definitely exceeded my expectations, we were welcomed and treated with respect and no pressure to lease or purchase a vehicle. I was working with a Chevy dealer that I trust even though I have a ford. When they could not figure out what was wrong with my car they took it to Stivers. It was saying "check charging system" and periodically all my gauges would shut off and I could not use my windshield whipers when this would happen. I had suspected that the alternator was not working, but they know better than me so it needed to be checked. Stivers checked it out said it was a multi-function switch, and I was happy because it was going to be cheaper than I had originally thought. They told me the charges and I agreed to have it fixed. This round was about 250. I get my car back and drive not even a mile down the road and it happens again. NOT FIXED. I call the chevy dealer and told them it is not fixed and had to take it back in. This time they believe that it is the cluster - they could not get the whipers to stop working even though I know it happened to me. This time they say that it is the cluster. We did suspect this before but I was told we would not change it until it completely went out. My RPM never worked but everything else did most of the time. They told me the problem and told me the price and I agreed. So another 550 later it is fixed this time. I get my car back and then I drive into work the next morning. Took my car back at 8 pm Friday, 7:45 am Saturday morning it does it again. I took a video because they are missing something. This whole time the problem never changed it was exactly the same. So we take it back in. This time they decide to fill it up with gas and drive it around because they don't know and it is still happening. I talk to the chevy dealer after Stivers has had it about a week and he said "they think it is the alternator." He never told me the price ans asked if I wanted to go ahead with the repairs like he did with the other two times. Which both times I had consulted in family members for repair costs. So about a week after that it is working still and I get my car back. I was again never told price or anything I was under the impression that they were paying for it because they did not fix it the first two times. Yes, this could be my mistake for not asking but I can not understand how you can charge another $300 and not the the consumer know the price. Also to top things off when I get in my car the third time my gas light was on - (took it to them with a half tank) and they left me SEVEN MILES TO EMPTY! My car tells me this so I do know exactly how many miles I had left. They tell me that I am responsible for the $300 even though I was not made aware of the charges. If this happened in my office it would not fly. I let all of my consumers know the price before they get charged. Needless to say I will not be going back there for service, to buy a car or anything! I will tell my friends as well.

The staff at Stiver's Ford is very efficient and knowledgeable in performing their jobs. Although the previous Ford I had purchased was from another dealer I utilized Stiver's for oil changes and routine maintenance and was always satisfied with the service I received. Service personnel always reviewed their findings with regard to tire wear, batter cranking amps, etc. If they noticed something that required attention other than the standard oil change they would advise me of the need to have the item checked.

I brought my Lincoln in because some of the electronics stopped working. They had my car for six days. I was told on the phone it was a flat fee of $120 to find out what is wrong. In person they again told me it would be $120. After I left the car with them they called and said the wires were torn up, but that wasn't the problem and they needed $360 to find out the real issue. Nearly a week later they call and say the problem is the torn up wires and it will cost $825 to fix it. The breakdown of my receipt says $60 parts and $720 for labor. The guy said they just put new wires over the old ones. My ride control settings still do not work, but they said they couldn't fix it. I had assumed it would be fixed along with everything else, but now my car beeps loudly whenever I start it up and displays an error message.My car has dark spots on the leather seats now, black smudges on the cream plastic, a white crease on the black plastic and strange marks where some tool was used to pry off the plastic cover. Also there are four shallow cuts on my steering wheel that I can feel whenever I drive the car.They lied to me about the cost of finding out the problem. They lied to me and said the problem was not the torn up wires. They charged me far too much money for the work that was done (based on the price it cost my brother to have essentially the same issue resolved). They did not fix the entire issue as I still have an error message.*Update*After the events of my original review I came back in to ask for assistance in cleaning the leather seat that they had stained (I spent an hour trying to clean it myself) and to get a breakdown of labor hours since different people had told me different prices and hours. They sprayed and wiped the seat, which didn't do much to help and said someone would call me that day.The next morning around 7:50AM I received a call. They said that it had taken three hours to find the problem and three hours to fix it at $120 per hour. The ride control error was considered a separate issue, but they would take a look at it for free (previously they said they couldn't fix it). The earliest that they could look at it was in five days. That night I noticed three button lights were out on the center console.The next day my steering wheel suddenly became extremely difficult to turn and I nearly ran into oncoming traffic. The steering wheel resistance randomly changed two more times on my way home. This was a problem that I had told the dealership about in detail when I originally brought the car in. It was the exact problem that drew my attention to the fact that my windows, turn signals, speedometer, etc. had stopped working and the existence of numerous error messages on the screen. Since my car has an option to change steering resistance on the center console I had assumed it was connected to all the other electronics malfunctions.When I brought the car in for the second time I told them about the persisting steering issue, how it was part of the originally stated problem, and how it nearly got me wrecked because I had erroneously believed it was fixed. No one had told me that they hadn't fixed it. I also told them about the dead lights on the center console. After a few hours they discovered the shock on the driver's side was bad and was causing issues with the power steering and also causing the ride control error. They asked for $680 to replace the shock and mentioned that it would have to be tested afterwards to confirm the problem was solved. They told me the dead lights on the center console could not be fixed without replacing the message center entirely. It is my suspicion that they caused the problem while working on the car, but maybe those lights just burned out during the six days that they had it. I declined to let them touch my car again. After giving me back my car with a serious steering issue that I thought was fixed they do not have my trust, but they have my money.

I had another easy and stress-free purchase of an excellent F150 at Stiver's this week. Internet Salesman Brian Benson located an F150 on the lot matching what I was looking for and also got me the monthly payment I was looking for without even having to stop in and haggle. Although I really liked my 2013 F150 FX4, I like me new 2015 F150 even better. It seems Ford has been able to refine and quiet the F150 even more, and I love the V8 growl of the 5.0. It takes me back to my days of driving 5.0 Mustang GTs years ago. The entire staff at Stiver's was helpful and made the entire process quick and painless. After the expedited process, rep Troy Kline went over the new features on my 2015 F150 and made sure I was ready to go. It was a great purchase experience, low pressure and friendly staff throughout.

I've driven hybrids for the last 5 years and the addition of the electric plug in feature is the sensible progression for improving the efficiency of the hybrid experience. Took our car in for warranty work, needed to have a replacement car so were required to sign a rental agreement. Karigan, gave my son the impression that he needed to agree to the $21.00 a day insurance coverage, even though he told her we had State Farm, in order to be given a car to drive. Basically wouldn't take "NO" for an answer!! Then Tim Duff was the employee we were dealing with to fix the rattle in the fan. My son took the car there and figured he would have Tim ride with him so he could have him listen to the rattle, Tim said he didn't need to. The next day Tim called my husband and said he couldn't hear a rattle. My son even took a recording of the noise on his phone before he took the car in, so he could have who ever worked on his car listen to it, but he still refused to listen to the recording. Needless to say, we were told there wasn't a rattle and there was nothing more they were going to do. Will never do business with this dealership again and recommend if anyone does, you are doing it at your own risk!!!!!!

My wife and I were mislead to believe that our Lincoln MKS would be great in the snow because it is front wheel drive and a heavy vehicle. 1st snowfall came, not even an inch of snow, the car handled horribly. It wouldn't even drive up my driveway(with a very minor incline). We absolutely were never told that we'd have to spend $1000 on tires so our family of five would be safe driving this vehicle. We had owned the car for 35 days and decided we'd like to trade back the Lincoln for an suv. The dealership offered us $3100 less than we had paid and absolutely nothing off of the sticker price of the suv we were wanting to purchase. I expected to take a loss of around $2000 for the difference in the two vehicles, but $5000 plus was more than excessive and unfair. I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership! They were friendly while you were looking to purchase a vehicle, but not honest at all about it's winter road handling capabilities, or the fact that I wound need new tires before the car was even safe to drive in the winter. I NEVER would have purchased this vehicle if I was told that winter driving was terrible without spending another $1000 to purchase tires...... Todd H. In finance, did a great job.

I already new Scott Politte, casually and liked him, so it was an obvious 1st choice of dealers. My 2010 Ford F350 was recently in to be serviced for the Radio/CD player not working correctly. The issue was diagnosed and a new radio was ordered. The old player could not be repaired. While waiting for the new radio to arrive to Stivers, my Ford roll top had an issue. Tim Duff worked with management who decided to replace the top for a nominal fee. I agreed to this. Days later my truck was in to be serviced for both items, and Tim was able to secure me a nice "loaner" to drive. There were some issues during the install of the roll top and the truck needed to stay another day. For my inconvienence, Stivers picked up any fees or deductibles I owed. WHAT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Nice work to all the Techs, Service Managers, and Management at Stivers Ford for doing a wonderful job to make my repair experience painless!!

We stopped into the dealership a day after buying our 5th wheel in hopes to find a F-250 Platinum spec'd close enough to what we wanted. We were somewhat pressed for time, because we were leaving on Friday of the same week on a 2,500 mile trip with the camper and new truck. We met up with Troy Kline, he gave us keys to 3 of the closest trucks to what we were looking for, we drove them, then went to work on buying it. From start to finish, although it still takes a decent amount of time, we were in and out with the new truck in roughly 5 hours. Troy did a great job accommodating the aftermarket products we needed into the deal, and financing was pretty painless, as well. Overall, the process was simple and quick, and we felt like we received a fair deal. Troy did a great job, and we'd definitely recommend him and the dealership to others.

I had a great shopping experience while at Stivers. Rebecca got me a great deal on my 2012 Ford Fusion. The only complaint I had was when I went to get my Free first oil change at the Quick Lane. I had to wait 3 hours even though I had called and made an appointment ahead of time. I was very frustrated. And as a college student I had to miss one of my classes. Anthony Beier was great to work with. I appreciated his pleasant personality and willingness to work with Allstate to get the repair process moving. He was also very good about keeping me updated on the status of the repair process. I stopped by because I thought I lost my iphone 5 in a hidden compartment under the back seat. Anthony tried to reach down there and find it. However, it was too narrow to get into. They took my whole seats out. I was really surprised that the phone was not there. I was sure that I heard it ringing from in there. Anthony was so caring about the whole thing. He said he felt bad that I lost my iphone, and he was not going to charge me for the time he spent looking: it was almost 25 minutes!They are really nice people and a good dealership!

My husband is an otr truck driver. I stopped last month just to have my tires aired up. This time it said low air and I was close enough to get an oil change done. Thank goodness I did! I may have just needed air but they found a nail in the center of my tire. I am a disabled customer and no one at Stiver's ever second guesses me or gives me a hard time.

Spencer is the best salesman that I have had the pleasure to work with. This is my 3rd vehicle to be purchased through Stivers Ford Lincoln and I have had a fantastic experience all three times. So good that I have purchased two vehicles from them in 2014. My sales person, Erik Trabert, has been fantastic. The access he grants us to work with him, ask questions, and work on deals is the #1 reason that I am a customer for life. The dealership is very friendly, everyone greets us and someone is always asking if there is something they can do for us while we wait. Erik has really worked hard to earn all of our business and we greatly appreciate that. The finance guys have always helped us and the service department has always been great. Some people cannot stand the car purchase process. I believe that Erik Trabert and Stivers makes the process enjoyable and we drive away in great vehicles feeling like they really took great care of us.

We found an explorer on the internet we wanted to look at and messaged them that we would like to come test drive. They got right back to us by email and phone and confirmed our appointment. We later seen that night, a Ford FleX we were kind of liking, but my husband didn't want them to clean it up we would look after we got there as you can tell how a vehicle was cared for when buying used.We arrived and looked over the Explorer which was fully loaded and very sporty, and I loved it, but wanted to check out the Flex. When I seen it, I was in love! Car was very clean, certified, low miles, and was $4000 off due to Labor Day markdown, so was even less than what we expected to pay. We bought it, and every person we dealt with, and even the sellers on the lots outside were so kind and curtious the moment we drove up the first day until we left the last day!

This was my first time purchasing a new car and it was a very pleasant experience. Kyle answered all of my questions and was even able to find the exact car I was looking for. He had my new Ford Edge at the dealership by the next morning, and I came in at 1:00pm to pick it up. He also went out of his way to get my vehicle back to the dealership for the protection plan that I had purchased. I needed a recall repair done along with a few other warranty repairs. It took several weeks for the recalled part to come into the service dept. When the part was replaced, the service person 'slipped' and scratched my rear bumper. I appreciated the honesty, but when I went to pick up my vehicle, there was also a scratch on my trunk lid. I showed the service man. He said it would be taken care of when I bring the car back in for another part that had to be ordered for the back passenger door handle. I have not heard from the service dept. since. The turn signal arm is hard to engage for both directions. I was told there was nothing that can be done about this. My car was at Stivers for 3 days, total. When I asked for the paperwork associated with the visit, the service man told me he didn't know where it was, but did not do anything to provide me with a copy. I do like to keep the paperwork for my reference and would appreciate a copy. Other times that my vehicles have been serviced at Stivers, have been positive experiences. I do not know the name of the service man, but he did mention he had just started to work at Stivers 3 days prior and had worked at different (I believe Honda or Toyota) dealership.

I received a letter that my car had a recall for the license plate light, I was also in need of an oil change, my trunk lift struts were not working, and I needed the keyless entry code on my door changed. I scheduled an appointment for Wednesday morning and had my car there by 7am, with the understanding that it would take a half day to complete. After assessing all my concerns, a part needed to be ordered so it would not be complete until mid-day Thursday. I had a family member able to help me get around, so I declined the loaner car at that time. On mid-day Thursday when the car was not finished, the weatherstrip and molding on my door had broken when they were fixing the keyless entry, they needed to order yet another part for the car. I asked for loaner car in which they very kindly set me up with a new F150--a truck I had been considering purchasing for a few months now (how covenient) :) . The transition was smooth. I was able to get my car seat and belongings out of my car and into the loaner truck. I was told on Friday evening my car was done, and I could pick it up at my convenience.On Saturday morning, when I made the switch, I was greeted by Matt Lahr who had assisted me in purchasing my Taurus 2 years prior. He remembered where I worked, and the fact that I was pregnant at the time I purchased the car and asked how everything was going. It was great to not feel like a number at the dealer and to have him again make sure I was happy and satisfied with my purchase and the service I had just received. It took longer than expected, but I didn't mind--I had a vehicle (my dream truck) to drive in the interim, and was taken care of by the staff. GREAT experience, per the usual!

I brought my 2014 Ford Taurus in for a service appointment and explained the issue I was experiencing with the suspension. The response at the end of the day "we could not find the issue, here is your car". They didn't seem concerned that there might still be an issue. They didn't suggest an alternative approach. Very dissapointed with their indifference to my concern.

I recently purchased a used Lincoln, I had the SUV for just over 90 days, and the front brakes started scraping. I called the service department, and spoke with Kenny Hay. He said he would contact my sales person, because something needed to be done about my situation. My sales person Arylynd Edgington called me back promptly. We spoke about my situation, and he contacted his upper management, He was very professional, and advised me that the service to my brakes would be taken care of. Even though the car was used, Stivers Sales, and Service corrected my issue the same day. Kenny got the SUV in promptly, and the service was done quickly and professionally with an oil change. Also my SYNC system was calling for an update, and I could not update it online. I called the service department, and spoke with Shawn Hawxby, he told me to bring it out ASAP. I arrived at the dealership, but Shawn was not available. I explained the situation to Austin Swigart, and he took care of the update at no charge. Again all of the Stivers Staff I spoke to, went above and beyond my expectations. I want to thank all of you for a pleasant experience. Mr. Politte, I want to thank you to, for running such a great dealership with a GREAT Staff.

I went into the dealership to have my tire fixed on my Ford Focus. While I was there, I wanted to know about trading in my Focus for something else, but not expecting much. I ended up leaving with a 2014 Ford Fusion. I really love my new car. The salesperson, Arlynd, who helped me, was very kind, attentive and I felt absolutely no pressure at any time. I just want to thank Arlynd for being the BEST salesman and another thank you goes to Todd for being a great Financial Manger. The whole process didn't even take that long either. I will always recommend Arlynd and Todd at Stiver's Ford to everyone.

I made an appointment to have recall related work performed on my Ford Taurus. They took my car in at the appointed time and got me out in less than the 45 minutes they stated it would take to complete the work. You can not ask for more than that. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure my expectations were met. I would recommend Strivers Ford to anyone looking for a quality dealership that put the customer needs first.

Took my recently purchased (from another dealer) in to have a "check engine" light checked out. I was offered a ride home (about 15 miles) Analysis determined that light was on due to several different sensors reporting codes. None were service affecting and did not return after reset and test drive. A driver was sent to return me to the dealership when the work was completed. Everyone I dealt with this day was professional and pleasant. A very good experience.

I tried to work with Stiver's on Ford Mustang but they do not negotiate. They low-balled me on my trade and would not come up - without any reason or information to back up their offer. I was told I didn't "understand" their offer - which is completely insulting, as I am a buyer for a living. Here's the long and short of it: I found a car with CS package, navigation, and other accessories for LESS than what they wanted to sell me the car they had - using the exact same trade in. They have a beautiful building, and now I know how they got it, by not selling at market pricing.

I paid 23,000 for for a used truck from them. It supposedly had a 90 day 3,000 mile warranty. It has been in the shop 4 time in the last 3.5 weeks and I am covering all repairs out of my own pocket. They could not give me a reason why none of the repairs would not be covered just told me they weren't. When I bought the truck the sales guy knew I wasw going on the road for work for the next 2 or 3 months and asssured me I would have no problems with this truck. Guess again, nothing but problems. 3.5 weeks later and it is going in the shop for the fourth time. Nice work Stivers!!!! Quality dealership here!!!
