I've owned my Subaru for 13 years and rarely taken it to the dealership for anything. My old tired seat belts were having issues retracting, so I scheduled an appointment with Pacific Subaru to have them looking into replacing them under SOA's life time warranty plan on their belts. Tony Cervantes was my service advisor, he got my paper work all filled out, went over my car with me before it went to the techs all while being courious and polite. Once my car was ready, I received a prompt text that my car was available for pickup, Tony went over everything with me and let me know I was approved for replacement belts, as mine were in fact not working to standard.Tony is an easy guy to work with and a car enthusiast who will take care of you and understands your concerns.Thanks again!

I brought my Forester in for an oil check. The website said I did not need an appointment for Express Service. Steven Recinos was my Service Advisor. He was friendly and professional. He advised that it may take two hours, did I want to wait or leave the car. I opted to wait. The car was ready in less than the two hour estimate. Steven explained what had been done to the car. It was an excellent experience.

Finally we found it at this dealership when we called them, most dealership will try say anything for us to come first. great dealership, I was looking for a 2017 WRX limited, found them online and send them a email, first thing in the morning Charlie Jimenez called and we talk about and i told them had to work, they said we can do the deal over the phone, i did feel a little off cause i will rather be at a dealership to buy a car not over the phone, but i did my research and i gave it a shot and they said they will deliver the car to my home, i live 45 min. away. They made this sale over the phone very easy, professional, every fast and clean details, i even got a STI Short Throw Shifter with the deal, great! Our Subaru was rear-ended on the 405 while we were visiting from San Antonio Texas. I was beside myself because we couldn't seem to get a straight story from anyone - insurance, the cop, and the first body shop proposed by the insurance agency. When I called Subaru Pacific and talked to Sheri Atkins, I felt immediately "heard." She assured she me she could help and she DID. When we arrived with the car she took control, arranged the rental and gave us assurance about what the process of possible repair would be.As it turned out, our car was totaled and we didn't want to actually buy a car in CA. I contacted Charlie Jimenez at Subaru Pacific as I was looking for a new Subaru Outback. I am a little bit old school and don't like a lot of options on my cars so I was looking for a hard to find configuration. Charlie responded very quickly to my email request and told me that they would be receiving a car that matched my description in about a month's time and gave me a very competitive quote. I would just need to put down a small deposit on the car (which I did) and he would let me know when it came in. Charlie was very proactive on giving me regular updates on the car's ETA and when it did come in he made sure to have all paperwork completed before we arrived so that we could sign the papers and drive off in our new car in a timely manner. You can tell that Charlie really tries to do the best that he can for you and that it comes from just being a good guy - I was happy to give him my business and he really came through - a great experience from start to finish!

Alex Dalziel went above and beyond to get me just the car I was after. His passion for cars is immediately evident, but his approach is anything but that of the pushy salesman. The initial test drive was easy. Alex was happy to show me everything about the car and never once hassled me for any sort of commitment or to talk numbers. Very professional and respectful that I was just there for the test drive and very friendly. Once I made the choice to go with a Subaru, Alex helped me find the right car. The sales process was as low stress as you could ask for. (It's still a new car purchase, it's a lot of money to think about!) I got a great deal on the car and the finance department was fairly easy to deal with. Once the deal was done, Alex was kind enough to work with my schedule in actually getting the vehicle to me since I'm private saling my old car and not trading in. If you're looking for a Subaru, do yourself a favor and go to Subaru Pacific. I'm glad I decided to test drive here while in the area for other reasons instead of the closer to home Santa Monica dealer. Great experience all around!

The salesman, Louie Vignolo, was amazing. He was helpful even when we were not ready to buy. He made sure that he answered all of our questions and didn't rush us out the door just because we were browsing. He followed up with me to see if I had any questions and wasn't pushy like other salesmen. When it was time to buy the car, he helped me make an appointment that was convienent for my schedule and made sure I was happy with the car I was buying. Sheri Atkins greeted me professionally and explained everything that needed to be done. My appointment was for 10:30am and I was told that the car would be ready at noon. She kindly asked if I would like it washed which I accepted. As I had a lunch meeting at 12:30pm, I went back to her desk at 12:05pm to ask how we were doing. When I explained that I had to be somewhere, she ran out and came back in with the keys. Unfortunately, I did not have time to hang around for the wash. She told me that I could come back in later if I was around. Had the vehicle been washed and ready at or before noon, this would have been an excellent review. My previous visit possibly spoiled me because I was told 90 minutes and the car was done in an hour.Nevertheless... Sheri and team are very good at what they do.

The repair was done in a timely and economical way. I would definately bring my car back for service here again. They stood behind their repair and were easy to work with.

I made an on line reservation to deal with a parking brake recall. i was assigned to Hollie Nagi. i checked in at ther service desk yesterday and was directed to Hollie's staion where I was greeted with a smile and a friendly hello. although there were many cars stacked up in the service area, I was worried that this was going to be a long wait. Happily, I was wrong, from check in to check out + a car wash cost me only about 45 minutes. i was sitting in the waiting area where Hollie came to get me rather than text me that my car was ready.My experience aith Subaru Pacific Service Department has been excellent.

Had a great experience at Subaru Pacific. No pressure sales here. Went to look at a certified vehicle, but ending up buying a new one instead. Very competitive straight-forward pricing. It's a small dealer currently (soon moving to a larger location). Erick Rodan did a great job showing us the car and answering all our questions. The pre-owned manager and new car managers involved were also pleasant to work with and didn't push us one way or the other.

Everyone is very friendly and they make feel comfortable...i went in to buy my 2nd wrx and after everything was done i still wanted to stick around and talk professionals there they just made me feel very comfortable all the way from when i walked in to when i purchased the car...charlie jimenez sold me the first wrx and he was just great on filling me in on details and answering all my question. Marcel Lopez sold me my 2nd wrx and he too was great help and filled me in on everything i needed to know.pacific subaru has great workers from there salesmen to financial managers...Steve cho got me a great deal on my car and made me feel comfortable through the whole process. I just bought a 2016 Forester via Costco. My initial telephone contact was with Tom Dessaint. He was very helpful in describing the current inventory and pricing. The actual sale was handled by Ismael Fazel. The whole process was relaxed, and he was good at explaining what was happening and what we needed to do to move forward. He went above and beyond the call of duty in helping us, and even drove a missing document to our house the next day. I was pleased by the whole experience. My only complaint was that it took a long time for the car to be prepped for delivery; on the other hand, the car was in pristine shape when we took possession.

Ariel from the express service department helped me. He was very detailed in his explanation as to the service needed & explained the results afterwards. The best part was the car wash. No car wash place has cleaned the car better than subaru did. The brake powder that stains the wheels were washed off well and the mats were washed too. It is an extra service that really matters a lot to customers like me who likes to keep their cars clean regardless of whether it is a leased car or not.Just wanted to express my appreciation for going above and beyond. Quite unlike other dealerships welcoming each clients as they try hard to catch big fishes coming over as many as possible, this Subaru Pacific has a cool atmosphere, facility and personnels. Especially when I stepped in the first time, I felt so cool and cold at the same time cauz everyone at the moment looked so busy on something without even giving any chance for greeting! Then, I grabbed a guy named Johnathan and had a chill out experience with him for the test drive of 2016 OutBack. Finally, I decided to trade in my previous Honda for this new Outback and we went through the whole process til the crazy late nite around 11:00pm. Just go back there for the touch up of oil stains inside the grooves of the rear tailgate door. With same happy smiling face all around, he helps to get it done quickly ( cleans it up with clothe and Sem Solve by himself). Very impressive. I want to give him a credit for his good service with easy-going, patient and positive attitude, even though he is completely young and fresh in this dealership. As well as another John from financial department, he is such a professional, smart and decent gentlemen knowing how to push the sales with certain key sharp points at the same time to help meet your satisfaction. Gonna go back next week for a part adjustment and accessory quote. Will see how it goes and keep updated =)

By far one of the best dealerships I had the pleasure in working with. I got in contact with Neal Ryke when I submitted an online request for a 2016 Crosstrek Limited. Not only did Neal worked with my price point, but he worked diligently in reserving the car I wanted. Neal went above and beyond, and went to Bakersfield to procure my car. This dealership made a big mistake that ended up costing my wife a lot of money. They sold her a warranty that they never made available to her until 2 years after she bought it. She wouldn't feel safe without buying a warranty for the used car so she purchased the platinum warranty. Someone at this dealership made a mistake when inputting the information and our warranty never went through. A few weeks after buying the car we had to take it in for repairs. Subaru's mechanic tells us they do not fix cars unless they're Subaru cars. This information wasn't told to us till after we bought the car. They sent us to a different mechanic to get it fixed, they tell us our warranty won't cover the repair. We went down to Subaru and they told us the warranty covers the repair we need and to go back to the mechanic. This went on for 2 years... we spoke to Subaru's managers and nearly every person there over the course of 2 years trying to figure out what's wrong. Finally after sitting them down and demanding they look into the issue, we find out our warranty never went through because someone made a mistake with our information. Subaru admits there was a mistake but they tell us the warranty company were at fault, and the warranty company tells us Subaru is at fault. Regardless of who's fault it was we've been driving around for 15,000 miles and nearly 2 years since we purchased the car and warranty. Subaru tells us those 2 years are still coming out of warranty... despite the warranty not being available to us they're still counting the 2 years and 15,000 miles. When my wife brought up how unfair that is their employees started arguing with her. Basically they were telling her too bad, there's nothing we can do. After this rude behavior we've decided to cancel our warranty and sell the car because we do not want to deal with this dealership anymore. Subaru tell us they will only give us half the money back for the warranty because they count the 2 years since we bought it. We contact the warranty company and they believe we should be entitled to a full refund on the warranty due to the mistake, and because the warranty was only made available to us within the last month. Cancelling a warranty within 60 days after getting it would give a full refund minus some fees. Considering our warranty was only made available to us recently we're well within the 60 days. But the warranty company said they cannot do anything because the cancellation and refund is up to Subaru. Driving around the car for 2 years while there's something wrong with it, has caused serious damage. We tried multiple times to get the car repaired but we were not able to because our warranty didn't exist. Our warranty is fine now but using it will only reduce the amount of money we receive if we cancel it. But the resale value is extremely low thanks to the damage. A full refund on the warranty isn't asking much considering the mistake they made, but Subaru refuses to refund the warranty. They wouldn't even offer to start the warranty from the day they fixed it, meaning we would be out 2 years and 15,000 miles from our warranty. This car is not worth keeping without a full warranty, and after their employees raised their voice at my wife simply because she was expressing her frustration with this warranty issue we no longer wish to deal with their dealership. I highly recommend staying away from this dealership.

Here's the full story if you are interested;I bought a Honda Accord 2013 from this dealership on Feb 28, 2015. Even though the car still runs OK, my experience in total wasn't as good.The guys there are great only until you buy a car. Once papers are signed, they things don't go as quick and smooth as you would expect it (interested to know why? The rest of this review would give you enough reasons)..I decided to buy the $2000 USD extended service warranty when I bought my car from this dealership, which is through a third party, which later on I decided to cancel as it made more sense to me to buy an extended service warranty from Honda itself than going though 3rd party hassle. Considering as well that "Fidelity Auto insurance" has the worst online reviews I have ever seen about a company, that equipped me with enough reasons to cancel it.Anyway, March 30, 2015 (30 days after the purchase date), I went by the dealership to cancel, but was advised that it's too late and I would be losing money if I do as it will be already prorated (which I found untrue later on, most probably just so they don't lose their cut).April 28,2015 I contacted "Fidelity" itself, gave them the contract number, and they advised me that if I cancel the contract I'd get 100% refund (Which proves that the answer I got from the dealership 28 days earlier was given to me just to stop me from cancelling it). Accordingly, I went ahead and visited the dealership again to cancel the contract based on my phone call. At that point they had no choice but to cancel it for 100% refund.May 6, 2015 the $2000 never showed up on my car loan (as they are supposed to be paid towards the principal), so I decided to visit the dealership again to figure out why only to figure out that the finance guy "Steve Choi" didn't bother to ask about the bank and PO Box where he should send the check. So another guy helped me pull out the details and leave a note on his desk with the details (as he was off that day).May 9, 2015 Tried emailing a feedback to the manager, but the live chat refused to provide me with the manager's email, so I requested an email back or call back (Which never happened). Next day I decided to send the manager a message through the online messaging system, but still in vain as he never contacted me back.May 11, 2015 the money still didn't show up at the bank, went to the dealership again with the intention of meeting the manager but it seems like all the employees have the same intention of stopping customers from reaching the manager. They all showed some interest in knowing what's going on, the only one who seemed to have genuine interest in helping was Dan Smith. But it doesn't seem like the culture around him helped him to do much. Apart from him, everyone was just passing the bucket to another department/person, with no manager showing up at the end to get involved. After an hour in the dealership, the other finance guy "Dough" recommended that I come back and see Steve the following day.Up to the time of writing this review, no one was able to say for sure when is the bank gonna get the money, nor if there's actually a manager on duty for that dealership or not.-Update:May 12, 2015: (One day after the online review was posted): Jeanna Matsusaka called from Subaru Pacific, to tell me the check will be issued next day and sent to the bank. I was also emailed a copy of the check. May 16, 2015 (20 days from the contract cancellation): Still no money sent to Capital One. And still NO MANAGER was involved so far (Jeanna's email signature didn't have any job title reflecting any managerial position). Still nobody ever apologized about anything or offered to make things right, which again leads me to believe this is the standard level of Customer Service provided in that dealership.One last update: (Found ONE person who cares)After my first review, Mr James Hartzberg (General Manager of Subaru Pacific) replied to my yelp post and expressed that he would like to contact me to make things right. I emailed him and we set up a convenient time for a phone call. During the phone call Mr James was very understanding and admitted things werent handled the way they should.May 21, 2015: the money finally made it to the bank, and on May 22, 2015 the car was detailed and serviced for free as a compensation for the inconvenience I have been through.To sum up, in my opinion, Mr James is the only one who really cares about customers in this dealership, but getting hold of him requires a miracle, as it seems all other employees are doing their absolute best to make sure he doesnt know anything about whats happening with customers. Asking to meet the manager wouldnt get you anywhere, so if things go wrong dont waste your time with anyone in the dealership because no one else cares, Mr James is the way to go (He monitors closely Yelp reviews and replies to customers complains posted here).I would sure like to thank Mr James Hartzberg for listening, genuinely wanting to resolve what his stuff has caused.

I bought a used car for my 16 year-old son who really earned it by getting 4.0.and they pointed me 2001 Volvo V40 they told me that the car was very safe that they would have their daughter drive it. So because it was for my son I had him test drive the car. He said he noticed that the brake needs to be all the way to the floor when you step on it. Salesman said that's just how it is because it's an older car and it's a Volvo. My son liked it because it was a station wagon. We purchase the car. When I drove off the lot I wanted to see how the car performed then I noticed that the speedometer and the Odometer was not working. I told The salesman about it and they took the car back. They said they took it to AutoNation Volvo Southbay and they had them do a point to point inspection. Three months later we noticed an oil leak and took it to a Volvo specialist. They had to replace the timing belt, front and back cam seal, cam shaft gear, tbelt idler pulley, the bill was $1174. The turn signal light was also only glued on so we had to replace that and that was $95. The sunroof cover just fell off. Signal lights in front lights were not working. I then went to autoNation Volvo Southbay to confirm what Subaru Pacific in Torrance had them service. AutoNation Volvo Southbay only inspected the break light, found ABS module Failure , advised Subaru to replace it but declined repair, Speed sensor was faulty which caused the speedometer and odometer not to work. Again they declined service Subaru declined autoNation Volvo Southbay to fix it because they can do the work them self for less money. It also noted that Multi point inspection not performed. Now another problem with the car which is going to cost me $2005 catalyst system efficiency below threshold, remove and replace power break booster. It does not appear to me that they did a point to point inspection on this car and they did not care about my young son who was driving the car. They only cared about making a sale. Oil was all over the timing belt and the Volvo shop that I took it to Jerry Morris said this did not happen overnight. He said that it was unsafe and this could have cause a fire.I informed them that I was not employed and paid with a credit card. Still they sold me a car with all these problems. I tried to return the car and get my money but they declined and offer to buy it back from me for $1,500. And asked me to trade it in. They sold it to me for $3,500. How could a big business like them do this to an unemployed mom who's rewarding her son who's done good in school buying him his first car. Heartless.:(

I went into the dealership looking for a limited model of BRZ. Dealt with Chris Olsen who arrogantly and condescendingly asked about how I was gonna pay for the car while referring me as a bro. I lost the interest of buying a car from this cocky guy right at this minute. I guess Subaru sales are up by growing over 20% for the past 3 years. The demands are high for Subaru cars, and some salespeople are arrogant since they don't really have to their jobs to sell Subaru's.I am not sure about the other guys, but Chris Olsen was not a professional auto sales person. I wanted to report to Subaru of America so I asked him for a biz card and told me "I am all out of it, bro." I found this site to be able to post my review, and I can let Subaru of America know how arrogant and obnoxious this dealership is.I also didn't like the atmosphere of the dealership. I hear the employees in Subaru shirts using the f-words when talking to the customers, and I see the customer visits are sometimes handled by a car washing boy or whatever s/he does.Fortunately, I ended up buying from a customer respecting dealership for much cheaper and better services. I also got the color I exactly wanted. I insisted on a peculiar color, but Chris Olsen tried to sell me a different one, though I had no further interest in doing business at this dealership.This dealership sort of gave me the image that Subaru dealers were doing well and all arrogant. This almost made me change to buying CPO Lexus IS250 from a Lexus dealership, who has the utmost respect for any types of customers.Any way, don't buy from this dealer, even for a good discount. Take that number to the other Subaru dealer and get it cheaper with better customer service and respect. As you read in a few other reviews, they appear to be unethical and rude. Those compliance violations can be directed at the Subaru Customer Relations. They will reply to you in a day or two. Subaru of America keeps all customer complaints and circulates customer comments in their databases when they receive such, and place these terrible dealers under the improvement program when deemed necessary.

The second I walked in I felt comfortable with this friendly staff. We were greeted and helped right away. This is tmy first time buying a car where I didn't feel like i was getting the run around. The service was fast, friendly, fair and I just had an overall wonderful experience.

I spent three weeks waiting for a Subaru Outback to come in that met my expectations. Mike promised to beat any and all quotes. I provided a quote from another LA area dealer and the USAA Car Buying Service and he again iterated that he would beat that amount.Once the car came in, we met at the dealership and he claimed that he couldn't find any of the quotes I'd emailed. I brought printed copies which he then said he'd have to clear through the finance team. He came back and said they could only match the most expensive quote. No attempt to even discuss the lower amounts. He then offered to appraise our trade-in. After a long wait, he came back with an amount $2,000 lower than the lowest recommended dealer trade-in amount from Kelley Blue Book. We walked out at that point. It took over two-and-a-half hours to get a mediocre price quote, lowball appraisal, and it was 1 pm on a Thursday. It's 2015. I know what my trade-in is worth in this market and what you paid for your car. Don't promise me something and then go back on it later on. I've shared my experience with all my friends and family. Two of my co-workers were considering Subarus and have sworn off any business with this dealer.Don't waste your time. They have no problem wasting yours.

My advisor was Sheri Atkins. She was very kind and very welcoming that I felt comfortable and no worries while waiting for my car service done. Only thing I hoped was that they could offer special service for royal customer, such as offer the rent car service in free. My previous advisor Douglas Elliot always offer that kind of service, in addition to perfect service for me.

I bought a used car from them with the engine light off only for it to come on a few days later. While I thought I was just unlucky when I brought it to my mechanic he assured me that the problem had been going on for awhile. The only explanation is that subaru pacific cleared the check engine codes before I came and test drove the car.

I decided to go to this dealership even though it's far from my area because I had some disappointing experiences from others. Daniel Smith worked hard in helping me weigh out my options in buying a car according to my needs and financial situation. He was professional, knowledgeable about the product, has great work ethics and best of all, very patient (especially when I was taking forever to make a decision). It was very pleasant working with him and his team. And it's good to know you can still trust people in the car industry biz. In the end, I was happy with my purchase.

I had just walked out of a dealership frustrated when I saw the Subaru spot out of the corner of my eye. Then for some reason I remembered seeing Colin Mcrae's WRX blasting down a mountain road over ten years ago. I walked inside and started to look around. Someone at the front asked if I needed any help. I told him I needed a new car and thought the WRX from years ago was cool. We went to look at the new 2015 models and I left to think about it. The next day I came back to see Mike and get the car we looked at. Mike was extremely helpful in the transition to my new car. Honestly I think that if the car dealer I had walked out of beforehand had been just half as professional and knowledgeable as Mike than I would have probably just bought a car from them. If you are in the market for a fast and fun car to drive then I would recommend you go see my friend Mike Barley.

Neal Ryke was very knowledgeable and patient as I deliberated between trim levels and options. He helped me choose options efficiently even where the price was lowered. Alex Dalziel also knows the cars inside out, having worked service and sales. Working with both of them, I had a great experience. I was comfortable running the numbers with Inna, sales manager, and Steve, finance guy, and know, by comparing, that I got an excellent deal.

Went in for an oil change on my 2014 Subaru Impreza and was helped by Edward Kline. I was late for my service appointment but Edward said it was no problem. As I purchased my car at an out of state dealer I wasn't sure what my contract covered in terms of maintenance but Edward looked it up for me, explained it to me, and even printed a copy. Since oil changes weren't part of my service contract, Edward provided a price quote (at coupon price) & time estimate. Overall it took about an hour or a little more than that including full inspection of the vehicle & a car wash. This was consistent with the time estimate I was given both by Ed and earlier on the phone. Ed even apologized for the wait as I was leaving! I also overheard him advise another customer about his tires and he seemed really honest as he told the customer to buy the 4th tire wherever he had bought the other 3 (not at the dealership) so that all 4 tires matched. Overall, great experience. Facilities are clean but they could use a bit more seating as you wait for service on a busy Sat. Wasn't an issue for me as I went for a walk for most of the waiting time but i can see that it can be a bit tight.

Warning. Do not buy a car from the used car department. From the outside everyone seems very laid back and honest but this is really just the first lie you will encounter. My car that was allegedly inspected has been nothing but a compilation of problems that any pre sale inspection would have shown. The even more unfortunate part is the lack of responsibility that the dealership is willing to accept. I would recommend going to any other subaru dealership before subaru pacific.

WE ARE ALL KINGS!!! I am forever a fan of team DARKSIDE !! Let's just start off that this was by far the best decision I've ever had by joining the Subaru family! Had my eye on the forester for a long time and finally got in the process of really considering getting one when boom! In two days I'm driving my brand spanking new 2015 ice metallic subaruuuu! My brother had gone to go get the scoop and was approached by Daniel who answered many questions and took the time to show some of the vehicles before giving his information and letting him know I could stop by whenever and he'd by happy to help. Next day I went down with the idea of it just being just that, an idea, when Daniel being friendly as ever approached my dad and I to make sure we were being helped with, but since he was currently busy with another customer I was introduced to the MAN Alex!! I'm always a little weary of car salesmen really drilling their company's cars and saying whatever they think the customer wants to hear, but Alex really answered all our questions with clear and knowledgeable direct answers about all their cars not just the Forester, giving pros and cons to which model would work best for my personal plans. Having been a mechanic with subaru he knows the highs and possible lows of these cars, so it's reassuring and awesome that there's no need for him to even need to be only working on subarus because the cars are so so reliable! Within half hour he had me test driving the Forester and showing all the cool and modern features of the car, all with a super professional attitude and much patience to someone like me who is daft to car language. After the test drive he sat down with my dad and I and offered some numbers, explaining the prices, introducing us to some others part of the team (Hi Shawn! Hi Steve ! Hi Gustavo!) and being all locals from the area they couldn't have taken better care of me, or made me feel so welcome and excited to be joining this amazing, amazing company. I went home with the information and after a follow up with Alex the next day, I was back at their offices filling out their paperwork getting my subaru! First car by myself under my name, these guys really made something possible and are helping me get my setting in the world with this car! I couldn't thank them more for everything they've done for me!!! Especially Alex and Sean! Not only was the entire process the fastest I've experienced with getting a new car, but their customer care is GOLD having a party for subaru customers every third Thursday of each month with free food (there was tacos being made while I signed all my papers), raffles, open bar, THE WORKS! All in all this company really wants you to be happy and wants to take care of you. I've never felt like I would ever become friends with the people who sold me my car, but I am definitely returning and keeping up with the people of Pacific Subaru, especially Alex, because they are the BEST! It's that simple! Can't wait for all the adventures my forester will take me! :)

Ever since the first time I went to Subaru Pacific, when they were in Hermosa Beach, I was greeted with a laid-back coolness I've never experienced elsewhere at a car dealership. When it was time for my wife to buy a new car, we worked with Carlo Lavarello, and he made it a great experience buying my wife's Crosstrek. When it was time for me to trade in my old car for an Outback, I went back to Carlo and he, once again, made the car buying experience enjoyable. I won't be going to any other dealership!

The folks at Pacific Subaru over all are the very best! Edward Kline, the Service Manager is always there to greet us and is always extremely helpful no matter what the situation. Brought my 2009 Forrester in for basic maintenance and to take care of a recall issue. Dropped off the car at 8:00 a.m.,and was told by the service manager Edward Kline,that it would take 3-3.5 hours to perform all of the work. Came back at 11:00 a.m. to find my vehicle WASHED and ready for pick-up. The paperwork hadn't even made it to the front desk! That is customer service at it's finest. Kudo's to Ed and his staff. I will be scheduling all of my future services at Subaru Pacific.

When I decided to start looking for a new car i made a list of 4 possible cars that i would like to check out. Well The Scion Tc I liked at Pacific Subaru was the 1st and last car i had to look at that day. The salesman, Mike Barley was Great. I contacted them through cars.com and he replied promptly and was very nice. We made plans to test drive the car later in the week and since i was driving from almost 2hrs away he kept me up to date as to the cars availability. He answered all my questions and once i drove the car and liked it he help to make the car buying process painless and easy. The whole dealership seems like a quality establishment and i would go through Pacific Subaru for my future car needs provided they have what i am looking for.

Just passed one year for our 2013 WRX STI. In that time we have become friends with all aspects of this Dealership. Tom Dessaint was our understanding and helpful salesman. James the facility leader helped us line up the correct MTB car rack. Doug Elliot with service has been my go to guy for keep things on track and ironing out issuses that needed to be completed. Kevin in Parts helped with the fun extras for the car. The rest of the staff are always friendly and kind. Ellie and I are very happy that Subaru came to Torrance. Just three weeks ago, I purchased a 2014 Subaru BRZ from Stephan Roger at Subaru Pacific. He did a great job showing me the key features of this very fun car, explaining the available options, and showing the display car as modified by Crawford Performance. I'd researched the BRZ online, of course, but there's nothing like a test drive to get the feel of a car. When I came back to make the purchase, he and the other staff looked at available stock there, and at other dealerships, and we quickly came to an agreement on the car and the price. I didn't have long to wait, though the dealership is a comfortable place for it. In particular, Stephan arranged a good deal for my old car, and even took the time to teach this longtime automatic driver how to use a stick shift. All in all, an excellent experience and an excellent car!

My Wife and I bought our XV from Carlo. He was great to work with and went above and beyond expectation. He had our exact car located and delivered to the lot before we even signed anything. Carlos Lavarello made the entire buying process easy and, dare I say, fun? My girlfriend and I were looking for a new subaru. We shopped online for the lowest price. Carlos was able to give us the lowest price of any of the three dealers that responded to our inquiry. It was below the trucar pricing from the other dealerships. We drove thirty miles to Pacific Subaru because the customer service via phone and email was attentive and straightforward. We'll be driving another thirty miles when we need to get our car services. The dealership is that good!

The Subaru Impreza has excellent scores on Consumer Reports so I considered buying it. When I finally drove the car, I was amazed. It takes hills just like it drives on a flat street. The Impreza has all the power and maneuverability that I expect in a car. It is very fun to drive. I recommend Carlo Lavarello at this dealership to anyone interested in buying a Subaru. He is a natural salesman - friendly, and understanding when on occasion I said, "No, that's not what I want." He got me a good deal.

Alex Daiziel, a Performance Technician & Product Specialist, took me for a test drive and answered my questions in a very simple and professional manner that made me feel very comfortable behind the wheel; it didn't take long to make a decision on the car and the dealership...Subaru Pacific. It turned out to be the right decision because the "Auto Broker" I've used for the last six (6) vehicles, was not able to beat Subaru Pacific's price. So after having a great experience with our 2013 Forester, when it came time for a second vehicle it was definitely going to be a Subaru from Subaru Pacific. This time it was a 2014 XV Crosstrek, and salesman Alex Dalziel was about the best you could wish for. He was friendly and professional, but it was his encyclopedic technical knowledge that put him over the top. Steve Choi in the financing department was similarly great, and his honestly and low pressure approach was much appreciated.

My car finally gave up the ghost Monday. What to do? Well I had been doing a lot of internet car shopping and some actual test driving, planning for the day when we would buy a new car. Well, why not today! A life long fan of Ford cars was going to take the plunge and go 180 degrees. Subaru just seemed the best fit for my wife's and my approaching new life style change. We just bought a new house in AZ, dirt roads and all, Subaru, that's the car we need. 4wd and great gas mileage and power, you can't beat that. So, where do we buy this perfect car? We're going to Subaru Pacific, on Hawthorne blvd, close to our house in Hermosa Beach. So off we went. Pulled in the parking lot and parked, got out of the car and started to approach the show room, this is where you usually get hit with the first salesman. Nope, clear sailing, walked in looked around a bit. Wow, really, low key? no way! We were welcomed by Paul Ginise. My wife and I immediately felt at ease. Such a difference from other car buying experiences we've had. I just can't thank Paul, Shawn Sullivan and the rest of the guys and gals at Subaru Pacific enough. Doug in finance was really great too! Usually this is the part where my heartburn hits its peak but no, we talked a few things over, squared the deal away. Viola! Done! I'm a little tired but that was because I leave for work at 5:15am and that's when the old Explorer died and a long day started, but thanks to the the folks at Subaru Pacific, the day ended up great! I am 23 years old and just purchased a car from Subaru Pacific. This is the first car that I have researched and picked out by myself. I literally went to every type of car dealership out there so I would have a good feel of the market and what was out there. I saw every car that was within my budget and over it. I finally decided the the Subaru Outback was the car for me. I then I went to 4 other Subaru Dealers and could not make a deal with them. I contacted Subaru Pacific through the internet. Within 30 mins of my email being sent at 7:30 pm, I had a call from Alex Dalziel. I told him what my price point was and what kind of car I was looking for. We made an appointment to meet. Alex had pulled all the cars that would fit within my budget. When I saw a car that I absolutely loved, Alex and his manager Shawn Sullivan worked with me to make it affordable. I really feel I got my monies worth today. I had to wait for a parent to come and cosign for me. Alex and Shawn were understanding and even went and bought me an IN-N-OUT burger while I waited. I never felt pressured by them to hurry up and make a decision. Come to Subaru Pacific and ask for a member of Team Darkside. Alex and his team with take care of you.

Our experience at Subaru Pacific was fantastic! Our salesman was Alex Dalziel, & we were impressed from the moment he greeted us. He's extremely knowledgeable about Subarus, & was very passionate about showing us the models we were interested in. We never felt pressured from him at any point, nor from Doug Hoffman in the finance department. The purchase of our Forester was the smoothest we have ever experienced at any dealership. He quoted competitively and followed through. He was punctual, communicative and followed through. He got me the car I wanted and my family is delighted with it. Mike Barley is serious about customer service as well. We are new customers and he has made us feel welcome. No request has been to small or large or undeserving of his attention. Quite unusual in this day and age, especially after the sale. The dealership itself is clean, friendly and professional. I have a feeling several friends and family members will be buying Subarus from Mile Barley and Subaru Pacific this year.

I'm loving my 2014 Subaru Forester Carlo Lavarello helped me buy here at Subaru Pacific in Torrance,CA. Compared to similar SUVs I looked at for several weeks and doing lots of homework, I couldn't be happier with my choice! Carlo made it comfortable for me to make what could have been a stressful decision. The Forester gives me the most visibility when changing lanes, I enjoy the additional inches in width and height , and in my opinion it's a much sharper looking car compared to other SUVs. My husband and I went in the first time just look at their car options. Carlo Lavarello greeted us promptly and asked us if we had any questions, but he did not seem pushy at all. He let us look around bat the display cars without pressuring us to buy which was great. Once we were ready to ask questions about their vehicle options and packages, he answered to the best of his ability. We were impressed that instead of trying to sell us a 2014 Forester, he actually told us it would be in our best interest to go for a used 2012 Forester because we had just started a family and we were both still in school. Carlo was not just trying to make a sale, he actually seemed to care about his customers. I would really recommend this dealer to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle, especially because Subaru's are just great vehicles all around.

The only reason I bought my car from this facility was because it was a used car that I had been searching for and was in excellent condition. I also very much appreciated the assistance / salesmanship of Carlo Lavarello. He is the guy to go to. Very friendly, honest and professional. Although I was paying 100% cash, the guys in the finance department and/or other "management team" attempted to insult me and one even hurled a derogatory comment at me because I would not buy their extended warranty. I've been drving since I was 16 and now 61, so that's a lot of car buying in my days. In the end, I got what I wanted but had to endure less than professional attitude even when I was paying 100% cash. So, I would strongly recommend that if you have to come here, that you make certain Carlo is your guy. He was able to smooth some things out that the other guys couldn't. I hope the owner or senior management actually reads these reviews.

In the process of buying a new car,I found what I was looking for at Subaru Pacific. After explained to Alex, the sales guy, that I was waiting for the okay from my credit union to purchase the car, Alex and his staff, did everything they could to work with me to get what I wanted. The car was delivered, my credit union to secured the financing, and I drove away with a car I wanted. You and I both know you can buy a car anywhere. My sales rep, Carlo Lavarello, was extremely helpful, super patient, and highly knowledgeable about the features and functions of thee car I eventually purchased. A very courteous and very "Un-pushy" individual and car shopping/buying experience. The finance department was awesome as well. They worked with me and were able to actually exceed my expectations and payment/interest price! Once again, very patient, courteous and helpful. The lot porter was even friendly and super courteous! Great people here and a great atmosphere to shop or just browse for a car. It is apparent they really care about you as a person, not "making a sale". Subaru Pacific as a dealership is top notch. I have worked for new car dealerships in the past (over 14 years as a technician) and have never experienced a place like this. They really take care of their customers, one look at their lobby/waiting area will show this. They have an event every third Thursday of the month that is unbelievable! Just to say thanks to their customers, that's it. They really take care of us and the night is so much fun. I have free maintenance for the first two years and Subaru Pacific is happy to provide and honor this service! They have contacted me and are scheduling my initial service. Everything has been drama free, hassle free, and way too easy. I am very happy with my purchase, a new 2013 Subaru Crosstrek, and very pleased and pleasantly surprised by the dealership and individuals working here.

The dealership always tries to play the "bad cop/ good cop" game with the boss-man in the glass office that you can't get to when price negotiations start. Regardless of how you haggle, you always feel cheated. HOWEVER, NOT AT SUBARU PACIFIC. Mike Barley took care of me from the test drive to setting up my bluetooth in the car. Carlo Lavarello was a pleasure to work with. I knew exactly which car I wanted and he listened; no attempts to up-sell me, no attempts to talk me into a different (or more easily available) model. They didn't have my 4-door WRX in their inventory, and they had to do a considerable amount of leg-work to get my vehicle from a sister dealership. The highlight of my experience at Subaru Pacific was Mike Barley, the salesman who helped me purchase my 2008 Honda Element SC and trade in my 2002 Acura RSX. He was always polite, attentive, and helpful throughout the process. I was able to get what I believe to be a good price on the Element, having to deal with the inevitable haggling with a sales manager, who was fairly pleasant to deal with and agreed to have the rear bumper and a side panel sanded and repainted for a little bit of an increase on the price. Do negotiate on any warranties for used cars as they came down on the price when we nearly decided to forgo a warranty (I got the 3-year warranty). The warranty saleswoman also, I believe, misquoted a discount as being more than it actually was, and got the deductible wrong (but she did honor her first deductible quote when we asserted that she had given us a better quote the first time around). Mike also shuttled me back and forth to work while the Element was in the shop getting sanded and painted; he also told me to call him at any time for sales advice on anything (not just cars). Stand up guy who gave great service, and glad to know him. I just might call him for sales advice in the future =). Very happy with my Honda Element! Thanks Subaru Pacific!
