I had a great experience at Summit View Auto. I knew what I wanted and found it at Summit View Auto with an online search. I walked into the showroom and was greeted by Mike. It was like meeting an old buddy. Jimmy & I took a ride with the 2011 GMC and I found the GMC was a great vehicle and a good value. The service and sales given by Mike & Jimmy was professional and pleasant. I would highly recommend Summit View Auto!

Jimmy was a no pressure sales man and that is a key to him earning the sale. It was a good vehicle at a fair price. My only issue was financing through them. We didn't get a rate that I felt was commensurate to our credit score. I might consider asking about the rate first for agreeing to finance there. Over all good place, good people, and I would buy there again and recommend to family.

The minute we walked into Summit View Auto we were greeted by Jimmy he was so worm and friendly, he allowed us the time to look around and choose some thing that suit our needs with out being pushy. The overall experience was excellent. Tito the salesman was very attentive to our needs and knowledgeable of the product. My daughter called him ahead of time regarding the car she was interested in and what area we were coming from and he stayed in contact with her if there was interest shown in the vehicle. Ginger the Business Manager was very personable and did not treat us like a number. The manager of the office was there and interacting with us and making sure we were informed and comfortable on everything needed through the whole process.

My wife and I were looking for an inexpensive vehicle to drive as a backup car. We came across a Dodge Caliber that we really liked at Summit View Auto. It was Saturday afternoon when we called to see if we could come look at it. Karl stated that he would be there and looked forward to meeting with us. We arrived a little over an hour before they closed to look at the car. He had it ready to go for a test drive before we even arrived. After deciding to purchase the car, Karl asked when we would like to pick it up. My wife jokingly said today. Karl said no problem and immediately got to work. This was within 45 minutes of closing. Once we had all the necessary paperwork completed and we were waiting for financing to come through, Karl took the car, washed it for us, and put gas in it for us. Ginger then took us in her office and secured the financing and paperwork for us, all after they had closed. She patiently completed everything she needed to, even though she had other plans to get to. Mark, the sales manager also waited for us to complete everything. I cannot express the gratitude we have for the three of them for going far above their job to make this such a pleasurable experience. The car itself has been great with just a couple minor issues that we have to have corrected. The license plate lights were out but I easily just bought a couple bulbs and replaced them myself. We have to call to have the rear struts replaced as they are making noise but I do not doubt one bit that this fantastic dealership will take care of us. I have been to many many dealerships through the years but this has been the best experience I have ever had. Thank you Karl, Ginger, and Mark for everything you did!

Buying the car was a breeze. They were very helpful assisting with the purchase but after that, I went through hell! No one would return my phone calls when they would tell me that they would. The check engine light went on and the passenger side door wouldnt open-missing a sensor<---I told them about needing the sensor two weeks ago and they supposedly ordered the part and have failed to call me to get it fixed. It took for me to call about 4-5x's in a day for them to tell me that they will set up my car for service. Overall, bad service!

We've been getting great reliable cars from Summit View since we purchased our oldest daughters first car from them in 2007. After a serious accident in May which totaled our caravan, we once again turned to Summit View. They had exactly what we were looking for, a reasonably priced Honda Odyssey. After a friendly greeting from the sales manager and a brief discussion of what we were looking for we were able to test drive and check out the Odyssey at our leasure. Needless to say the Odyssey is ours and that makes it the 5th vehicle we have gotten from Summit View. The staff at Summit View made the entire process of purchasing the van stress-free. Thanks!

I have dealt with many dealerships before, both as a customer, and as an employee, and these guys are the best! From the time we spent on their website looking at cars to the moment I drove away with my 2011 Prius, everything about my experience was very easy, comfortable and enjoyable. We went to the dealership with an idea of test driving a few different cars, and our salesperson, Walter, handed us as many keys as we wanted, let us drive the cars around, gave us an idea of good areas to test the cars out, once we settled on the Prius, the office manager, Mike, explained things very clearly to us, let us put down a deposit while we saught out a loan through our personal bank. They were very patient with us through the whole process, and had the car ready to go when we finally had everything together. I will definitely be recommending this dealership to any of my family and friends that are looking for a good car buying experience!!! Thanks guys!

The post title says it all... it was by far the greatest experience my wife and I have ever had at a dealership. Karl was terrific with a relaxed no-pressure approach. He doesn't push to run your credit and steer you towards certain vehicle... he doesn't start any of that process until you are in "love" with the car. My wife purchased a 2006 Cadillac STS with 75k miles at a fair price. Ginger was the best, as we were in the unfortunate situation of having a current loan on a car with engine failure. She did a wonderful job of closing the gap and getting getting us financed at 1/3 the interest rate of our last loan.The car has been great. The car had an issue with the driver seat controls panel popping out of place. Karl linked us up with Bill at the service department no questions asked to get the problem rectified. Bill was terrific... doing the best he could with what is obviously a design flaw by GM.If you want a no-pressure sales environment with high quality cars and a dealership that stands behind their cars and believes in customer service... then go straight to Summit View Auto. I know we will be back the next time we are in the market for a vehicle.Chris and Justine L.

Traveling down route 104 my wife and I were looking for an upgraded vehicle, so we stopped at Summit View Auto. We had never been here before but saw many vehicles within our year range of 2012 - 2014. We ended up test driving a number of vehicles plus questioning prices and mileage on many others. At no time did we ever feel pressured, so I asked about our vehicle toward a possible trade in. I was a 2007 Ford Edge AWD with over 100,000 miles needing repairs. When the salesman quoted us the price, we were both surprised and continued toward negotiating on one vehicle my wife really liked. (This is where my wife dislikes me, negotiation process) The salesman James Inzinga was remarkable. I almost felt he was working for us. The numbers eventually made us both happy, and the vehicle was ready and picked up a couple hours later. The entire process from beginning to end was nothing but upbeat. (and the wife never disliked me)

We knew what we were looking for and saw this dealership had one. Walter took our inquiry call and offered a friendly, non-pushy approach all the way thru the sale and delivery. Walter convinced us our travel from Syracuse would be worth it. He was right....we fell in love and the whole process took less than 2 hours. It has only been 2 days since our purchase and we are happy so far. I saw a 2012 jeep grand cherokee overland on cars.com. I called summit auto and brian dunbar answered all my questions so we took a ride out there and test drove the jeep. Brian was very helpful getting the jeep ready for the test drive. We own 3 jeeps and this jeep was a real winner lots of options and very clean. we met mike anello sales manager who was also very pleasant to work with. I mentioned that the rear brakes were shot and the fronts were new and the tires were shot...mike and brian immediately said we will do the brakes and you choose what tires you want... we committed to the jeep the next day the continental tires were on and all brakes were brand new. Next came the financing they got us a very good rate. so when we came in to take delivery I said to mike the zing must be coming now because in the past there always was a zing. to my surprise there was no zing no high pressure sales and they let us decide on a extended warranty. they explained all products but were relaxed and not pushy. we chatted about other subjects besides the jeep which made my wife and I relaxed and comfortable. We are very happy with our jeep and really enjoyed working with brian and mike. Will keep in touch with them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a used vehicle.

I was not really looking for a used car as I have never had any luck buying used cars, but we were half heartedly looking for something that my husband could drive since my son had taken his car back to college and we did not want to spend a lot of money. I drove into Summit View 'just to look' I was greeted by Erik and told him my situation, my husband wanted a truck I wanted to keep my Honda Accord. I then spotted a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sahara on the lot and Erik informed me that it only had 5500 miles on it. I went back the next day but being a Sunday the only one there was Jason. He let me test drive it and when I told him I was interested he put a hold on it for me, without even asking for a deposit..other big dealers would NEVER do this! Long story short, I traded my Accord and drove the Jeep home on the following Thursday. They worked very hard to find me financing that worked within my budget, they were very professional in their communication during the process and all my questions were accurately addressed. I must say, I have not had such a pleasant experience in buying cars since Saturn went out of business. They gave me a great price on the Jeep and also gave me a great trade in value for my Accord. Now when my husband is ready to get his truck we will most likely be returning to Summit View for that purchase as well. Thank you to everyone there!

Everything about our experience with Summit View Auto was an above-and-beyond surprise. We found a great vehicle online on cars.com and began to communicate long distance with Erik. He was absolutely outstanding. He made everything clear, he handled all of the financing details for us, walked us through the insurance requirements, and got us fantastic rates. Our payments turned out to be much lower than we'd thought they'd be. When it came time to pick up the Jeep Liberty, Summit View Auto kept the dealership open an extra two hours because our flights in were scheduled to arrive after normal closing hours. The team at Summit View (without any request and unknown to us until we arrived) had the car detailed, they'd put on new brakes, they'd upgraded the trim (even better than the posted photos), they had the NY inspection done, they'd completed the registration and had put on the plates. We test drove it (and loved it) and signed the final papers with Edgar who walked us through everything and was very knowledgeable about all of our questions. They're a family owned and run business and they're very genuine about wanting to provide the best cars (they clearly cherry pick their inventory), and the best, most honest, most helpful service possible. It's worth a trip to Rochester NY to work with them! We highly highly recommend them!

Incredibly happy with the selection and service. My Wife and I had been to a few different dealerships in the area and got the same run around at every one. Summit view and their staff were incredibly welcoming and made the usually painful process an absolute breeze. I could not not be more pleased with my Volvo, and the amazing service. I shopped at many dealerships over the past few months looking for the right car at the right price.. After dealing with one too many pushy salesmen, it was a breath of fresh air to walk in here.. They have a good selection of really nice cars in a range of prices. I knew what I could afford and what I didn't want to go over. Eric helps my husband and I find the "sporty" car my husband wanted, with the price and safety that our family needed.. Everyone here from Eric (our awesome salesman) and the other fellas waking around to the finance department made buying a car here comfortable with no pressure.. They were so nice in the beginning until after you sign all the paperwork. Then you call them for anything and they want nothing to do with you. Will not address any problems and push any issues off on the customer. Michael Anello is very slick when it comes to signing the contract. Every time you try to read your contract, he interrupts you and says he will explain it all to you, when he is really preventing you from reading all the fine print. Be very careful doing business with them. They try to pressure you into things to benefit there commission checks rather then to accommodate the needs of their customers. I am now stuck paying for things I did not want or even agree to. I am still waiting on a refund check and it has been 6 months. BUYER BEWARE.

In June of 2013 I went to look at an '06 Subaru Outback Legacy at Summit View Auto. After reviewing the Carfax, crawling all over and under the car, test drive etc., I felt comfortable purchasing the car. I worked with salesman Eric and manager and we arrived at a deal. At no time did I feel any sales pressure. All was well for a while when I noticed a few drips of oil on the driveway. I didn't think much of it as my other car drips a bit after I change the oil. Turns out it was the Subaru. I called the dealership that serviced the car with the previous owner. The last record showed a mechanics note regarding leaking head gaskets. Long story short, I went back to Summit View and spoke to Mr. Andy Marcucci regarding the pre-existing condition. He explained that he had purchased the car from another dealer and would not have seen the info regarding the head gaskets. Mr. Marcucci said that even though it was past warranty, he would take care of the head gasket issue. I made arrangements to have the service work done at local Subaru dealership and never saw the bill for the head gasket replacement. Mr Marcucci was a pleasure to work with and has certainly earned my future business. I would strongly recommend them to my friends and family. Well done Summit View Auto!

Purchased a 2004 Kia Sedona from Summit View. The purchase process was relaxed and friendly. No hype. Not HUUUuuuuuuge. After driving the vehicle for a few days - an alert light went off on the dash and we noted a groan in the power-steering. Summit View stepped up and fixed both issues - no problem. After a few more weeks of driving, the brakes went out. And I do mean OUT. The brakes lines were corroded through. Initially Summit View informed us that they were not responsible. I spoke with a few folks there and they were fairly adamant about their stand. So - we took the van to a repair shop. However - my daughter (it's her vehicle) received a call from the owner AND the service manager stating that they wanted to make things right. Incredibly, they paid for the brakes line replacement in FULL. Parts AND service. I'm impressed, Mr. Marcucci. You stood by your product and service and you're a man of your word. That alone, unequivocally lets me say, that I would recommend you to anyone. Nice job.

Summit view is a great place to go.The cars are very clean inside and out .i purchased my chevy malibu from Shannon.shannon made the experience easy and quick.she kept it straight forward with me and told me not to worry she will take care of me and that's exactly what she did because of the great job Shannon did I recommended a few people to her and that all said the same thing about her..Turk the finance guy is a great guy as well there was a little situation at the end of the deal i was a little worried he told me not to worry and he took care of it..so with all that said I wanna thank Shannon for being a honest and friendly woman and for making the experience quick and easy thanks Shannon your a doll :-)..

I have had a very long history with Summit Auto.I have purchased my 03 Saab Vector , 05 BMW Z4 and my newest edition 04 Lincoln Aviator. Recently my friend was car hunting and always loved my car buying stories. I called Shannon at Summit and we were on our way to buy a new car for my friend. When we arrived , Shannon was there to greet us with some fresh hot coffee and wanted my friend to take her time because buying a car was a huge decision. After 3 test drives I fell in love with the Lincoln Aviator that my friend wanted but she decided to get a Car and was in tears to find out that she was approved for financing. The whole experience was just incredible. Shannon was able to understand my friends unique situation and offered her amazing assistance. It was something that she did not have to do , but opposed to the situation being interesting. Shannon was interested. I loved the fact that any time there was no awkward buying pressure. Shannon educated us on facts not frills and extra words. Everyone in all my buying experiences were honest , fair , and always valued me as a customer. I read some reviews on Cars.com about the experience not being great. I wanted to remind that Summit sells used cars..... Used cars will break down regardless of the make and model. Saving time and hassle is no secret ..... you simply buy the extended warranty. I carry the warranties on all my cars because I would rather pay 100.00 per visit opposed to the real prices on the luxury cars I drive. They can work it in your financing and its super important to have. Its saved me a fortune in the long run ! I sit back in AWE that I am able to drive these amazing cars that look like new and not have to pay the Hefty sticker price. I have been a huge fan of Summit Auto. They always go above and beyond. Every promise that Shannon advised me when I bought my SUV , she met and then she knew I was moving to Michigan... She even followed up with me to ensure I made it there safely and If I was loving my SUV. HOW AWESOME IS THAT! Currency is a value system that not as meaningful as the time and effort a person takes to show their appreciation. Summit Auto is my dealership for life. I told Shannon don't be surprised if I ask her to pick me up from the airport when I am looking to buy a new car. Thank you Summit for just being awesome!

I've had a very long history with Summit as all my cars I have we're purchased there. Recently I took my friend there to purchase a car because of all the compliments I received on my cars and sharing the great deals I get. We took some test drives and I fell in love with the 04 Lincoln Aviator. Zi decided while I was there referring my friend , I myself would buy a solid reliable winter vehicle since I was moving to Michigan at month end. From my Saab Vector , BMW roadster and my recent purchase 04 Lincoln Aviator I would advise you never ever cheap out on a used car and drive off without an extended warranty! I read some of of the bad reviews and it had nothing to do with the service rather it had to do with cars breaking. When you buy a used car , every single component in your car is used.... It will break down. Please do not confuse it with a brand new car. I would HIGHLY suggest an extended warranty with any car you buy even if its not at summit. Saved a fourtune and what's nice is the extended warranties are very reputable and I can have service in any state I am in. With Summit Veiw auto , I am treated with the outmost respect. Shannon had hot coffee waiting for me and wanted us to test drive as many vehicles it took for myself and my friend to make an informative decision. There was no pressure , I felt comfortable and relaxed through out the whole buying process. Shannon is a gem! There was no candy coating ... I was direct and to the point and every single promise she made.... It was kept ! She even took the time to follow up with me when I moved to Michigan to check in and see how things were going! WOW... This is the service I have been getting since 2008 when I discovered Summit View Auto on Auto and Cars.com. My friend I brough with me has little to no credit and she was in tears to hear she was approved. She called me the next morning ranting and raving about a Summit and was surprised she never heard it of. I sit back and love the fact that zi can drive used Luxury cars that's are in awesome shape and avoid the new sticker price. Everyone at Summit has honestly , integrity and a fair value by all. You can research the prices and you will find them a great deal all the time. I do live in Michigan , but when I want to buy a new car.... Is going to be back in NY at Summit Veiw Auto. Are family have gotten all of our cars through Shannon at Summit view. With any used car there were little things that needed to be fixed but everything always gets taken car of. Andy the owner is great and is the most active owner I have ever seen. Shannon is our sales girl and this lady knows her stuff, even offered to deliver the vehicle to us.

After 11/2 years of owning our SAAB SUV that we purchased from Summit View we had our first problem, We took the vehicle to Ridgeview Motors (Summits Service Shop). After speaking with the shop manager he quickly told us what was wrong. We were able to leave the SUV. After waiting 1 day (for the part to be delivered) we had our SUV back. The charge for parts and labor were very reasonable. I was very pleased with the over all service I received.

My family has bought 5 cars over the last several years through Summit view. I can not recommend them enough. With any used car there may be issues, but Andy( owner) and Shannon ( the best car sales person ever!), always make it right. If you are looking for a dealership that stand behind their cars, won't rob you blind, and doesn't mess around, Then Summitview auto is the place to go. I spotted my "dream car" - a 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300CE Coupe with very low miles - on the dealer's online site. This might not normally be a remarkable occurrence, but in my case it was -- because I live in Anaheim, CA, which is over 3000 miles away from the upstate New York area, where the dealership is located. I spoke at great length (and on numerous occasions) with salesperson Shannon, who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She was as friendly and patient as she was professional! The pictures revealed that this was a very special car, and Shannon's over-the-phone inspection and answers to my many questions insured me that the car was well worth the purchase and the long-distance transport across country to Southern California. The financial/paperwork transaction with the dealership was very easy, and the transport company that was recommended was efficient and reasonably priced. The car arrived to me in excellent condition, (with the single exception of a rattling catalytic converter that needed to be replaced, which wasn't covered by the warranty). I'm now greatly enjoying this magnificent Mercedes in its new sunny, warm environs, and am very thankful to Shannon and Summitview Auto for making it all possible!

FROM SUMMITVIEW AUTO LAST YEAR N JULY..AND SINCE I HAD MY TRUCK I BROUGHT 4 NEW TIRES $620,A TUNE UP,BRAKES,MY REMOTE START DONT WORK N MY 4WHEEL DRIVE MESSED UP,AND MY TRAN MOTOR NEED TO B REPLACED..ALL N ONE YEAR SO SAD..THEN TO TOP IT OFF SHANNON TOLD ME SEND PEOPLE TO HER N ILL GET $100 HAHAHA WAT A JOKE.SENT MY CUZZIN B 4 ALL THAT HAPPENED TO ME N ITS BEEN A WHILE N I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM SHANNON..STAY AWARE FROM SUMMITVIEW.

Beware. I had put $1100 deposit on a car and was in the process of obtaining the needed documentation for financing when a salesman called me and informed me they had sold the car. Must have been a better deal - how unprofessional and shady. I did get my refund but don't appreciate the underhanded politics. Shame on you.

I bought a car from this dealership about two months ago. After an hour of owning the car my engine went into what is referred to as "limp mode". My check engine light came on and so did my reduced engine power light. I had to hassle with their service department and demand that they fix the problem which they did the next day. I have also not received my registration from the DMV. After visiting the DMV I found out that there is still a lein on the vehicle from the previous bank that they bought the car from. Summit View did not obtain the lein release form from the bank so now I am stuck with an un-registered vehicle because of their lazyness. Every time I talk to the dealership they get very defensive and start spitting out excuses. I would never recommend them to anyone!
