Josh Brown helped me yesterday find a truck that fit everything I was looking for, he was extremely friendly and professional throughout the whole process while also explaining everything in easy to understand terms. When I went in yesterday I had an idea of what I wanted but expected there wasn’t something to meet all of these needs. Thank god I had Josh helping me he was determined to not stop looking until we found something that worked the best and he made that happen. I ended up pulling off the lot with the exact truck I wanted and felt nothing but support throughout the whole process. I highly recommend requesting Josh Brown when shopping for a new car, he really knows what he’s doing and will make sure you’re satisfied in every aspect before assisting you in making a purchase.

My son saw a used car he was interested in at Sundance Chevy. He called and checked availability, so we drove 2 hours to see it. My son liked the car and we had the salesman draw up paperwork to place a deposit so we could have first dibs as the car needed some work done still. A couple days later my son receives a message that there was a phone in deposit on the car the day before we drove there. I called the salesman and he said sometimes this happens. I called Sundance to speak to the GM John Viselli about their poor processes. Unfortunately I could not reach him and the operator was quite rude on the phone. I tried again the next day and was able to leave John a voicemail to please give me a call. Can you guess.. NO return call. The other party purchased the car 3 weeks later. This is a business I don't care to give my money to. I would think the owner of the dealership Terry Hanks would not be very proud of his team with this lack of service.

We bought an used Pontiac Vibe after a few weeks I discovered the car did not have some items they had advertised in their add, it was minus a XM/(sirus)radio system and bolt on wheel covers also shown in the add. I have not had any luck trying to work with Sundance Used Cars or thru BBB. I also discovered the sun/roof seal was bad and had to be replaced and the AutoCheck was bad it had been in an accident, $5000 damages and the body filler is now popping.Be VERY careful when buying from them.

I purchased a 2010 Camaro SS RS Transformer Edition with 19,000 miles from sundance Chevrolet and I couldn't be happier. I've been wanting a Camaro SS since 2008 when I first saw the concept car on GM's website, I finally was able to buy my dream car and they got me finance through Ally Bank which is almost impossible to do. When the finance manager told me I got approved I went crazy and I've been riding high ever since. I also purchased an extended powertrain warranty from GMPP for an extra $3,000. It was a bit pricey but was well worth the piece of mind that I now have. I've owned my Camaro SS for the past 7 months and I haven't had a problem with it what so ever. I will definitely buy another car from them without hesitation.

I bought a vehicle on June 22, 2016 that seemed to run fine. On July 28, 2016 the vehicle left me stranded 50 miles from home late on night. I managed to get a ride home and called Sundance in the morning. The salesman who sold the car, and his manager, never called me back despite repeated messages. The service manager told me to have my car towed in and they would look at it since I have an extended warranty. They don't offer towing and told me I'd have to pay for the towing, which was quoted at $350 through a tow service Sundance recommended. The sales manager that I did eventually reach (by calling repeatedly) at Sundance assured me that the towing would be reimbursed if the issue with my car was a warranty issue. I called the warranty company to find out how the warranty reimbursement works and they told me that they don't reimburse for towing, that all towing must be scheduled through their roadside assistance and they will pay for the the first 50 miles. Since no one at Sundance bothered to call me back, and the dealership had given me the run around on even getting my car service, I had my car towed to another dealership. They checked it over and diagnosed it as an issue with the transmission. The car needs a new transmission! As of today, three days after I contacted them about the issues with the car, no one from Sundance has contacted me or followed up with me about my car. Apparently, they only car about selling the cars, not about the customer. So I feel that I was ripped off and sold a lemon by these people. Buyer beware!

Always a great experience at Sundance. My heating and cooling temperature control knob was not responding to the control knob. Advisor explained the gears that operate this knob and replacement was needed. Advisor also renewed a 3 year 36.000 mile extended warranty, I am so glad he noticed mine was about to expire. My drivers door was stiff when opening and closing, also needed a new seal, fixed! I needed to see a patient in W. Bloomfield that day, between 12 noon and 12:30pm ( about 179 mile round trip) and as promised Enterprise car rental picked me up in time for me to visit that patient, when I returned my car was just being pulled out to the front of the service dept., perfect!

I was looking for a used pickup. They had one I saw online and was interested in, so I went to look at it. It had some issues I noticed while test driving it. Talked to salesman and we didn't come to an agreement but he talked me into putting $50 dollars down on to hold it until we could work through some issues both on getting things fixed on truck and had to wait till his boss was back from vacation. He promised me that he would send back to me the $50 check to me if we couldn't work out a deal. I never heard back from him and they cashed my $50 check. I will share with other of my experience and to not shop for a car/truck there. Also, I did buy a used pickup truck in Holland, MI and I very happy with that dealer, salesman, and my used pickup truck. The two hour drive was worth it.

I cannot even believe the experience I had at Sundance! It would take me forever to write a review of the horrible experience I had from the day I picked out the vehicle I wanted (December 5th), until all issues were finally resolved January 7th. They had no problem contacting me when they needed something from me, but when it came to issues I had (about repairs that were supposed to be done prior to picking up the vehicle, etc), I was put on ignore, couldn't get anyone to respond to me. We have bought several vehicles from here, never a problem. We have two boys reaching driving age, I will be looking somewhere else!

Salesman too busy to help much with initial purchase of vehicle; nothing but problems after I finally found something to buy. Brakes bad at purchase, they did fix them since it was within 3 days but service mgr told me they never did mechanical or safety inspection on vehicle before they delivered it to me. It leaked oil from a bad seal, alternator stranded us within a couple of weeks, many mechanical issues but they wouldn't help because I didn't buy extended warranty. Would never recommend this place to any one. They only want to sell as many vehicles as possible without caring about condition.

Bought a 2009 F150 in February 2015. 3 months later needed a whole new brake job. Wasn't to pleased with the experience. They had us test drive several vehicles and if there were problems they told us we would need to fix it. Both times randy Peavey was our salesman. Fast forward. Boyfriend said give them another chance and we didn't have the best of credit and he didn't want to go to a buy here pay here place. So we went back. First ford edge they showed me had serious damage. Paint chips missing all over, bumper damaged, and headliner hanging. They were willing to sell it to me if I could buy it that day and screw overy the guy who was already purchasing it. I said no. Showed me a 2008 ford edge and there were several things wrong. Said we would be back that Friday and meanwhile it was Monday so the had several days to fix everything. Show up Friday and my windshield was NOT replaced but apparently they replaced the radiator, new alternator and new battery. Could tell there was no way they detailed my car. It looked like old salt chunks were growing mold into my carpet and there were nasty black marks all over. Left unhappy. The following week once I had time I started inspecting the vehicle. My Vista roof was broken even though they supposedly checked it out. Stopped working and wouldn't close. Back hatch handle was loose I wouldn't even use it. Oil dipstick was broke off into the engine so to pull it out you needed pliars. Shifter was missing a chrome piece hat was apparently being mailed to me. Well after 2 weeks of no shifter piece I called Randy to complain about all the stuff wrong and wanted to know where my chrome piece was. No call back and I even started calling Sam Cypher his manager. Finally after 5 phone calls I get a xxxx call back. Randy apparently mailed me the chrome piece. 2 weeks later I called and said I still don't have it. Story after story. Oh I mailed it, forgot to mail it, service lost it, servie found it, nope now service ordered the wrong part. They never ordered the part because once I kept harping it came out you actually had to order a whole new shifter assembly, which they shipped to me and told me I needed to install it. Now my seat belt is broken and not retracting. I owned my vehicle for 51 days and 27 consecutive of those days it was sitting at my local ford dealership for Sundance to screw off and not try to pay for the work. Then last night our f150 emergency brake line snapped seizing the emergency brake so had to go to a shop. To fix the problem was $280. Also the ebtire headliner is ruined because watwr is leaking in from somewhere. They sell crap vehicles and hope people dont notice the stuff until too late. Sundance is nothing but a huge scam. My grandpa is actually really good friends with John Levitt who is good friends with the owner of sundance so told me to drop his name with the owner and yet the owner has never called me back. Stay far far away from them!!!!

I found a Cadilac 2012 SRX on line so I called. I talked to Bob Popp and ask about the car. I told him I was driving 3.5 hours and to look it over I'm not going to be happy if I drive this far to be lied to. Bob explained the car was like new in every way new brakes, tires. The tires were the original and only had a few months before needing replaced. So we made the trip down there and upon arrival he says oh the brakes are bad just pay for the car and I will send it to you. Then he tells me if you have a written quote we will meet or beat any quote on your DTS. Well let's just say the manager and Bob Popp thought that since I drove this far I was desporat. They are dishonest incredibly slippery place. Please do yourself a huge favor and avoid this place. You will thank me. I promise.

We went there to check out 2 used cars on their website. The salesman couldn't even locate one of them. The other had been in 2 accidents. When we started talking numbers they added several nonsense charges to inflate the price and offered about $1000 under blue book for the trade. Don't buy used from them. I had a very positive experience earlier when I bought new. I'd never go there for a used car again.

Ordered a new Buick enclave only to find out it was delivered to dealership and was SOLD TO SOMEONE. ELSE!!!!! We know several people at the plant and they knew exactly when it was built and when it was delivered. After waiting a long time they said they might make things right but we went down the road to another dealer and they had the very same car for us the next day. The only good thing was we never have to deal with Sundance again.....should have listened to warnings about them.

I purchased my truck from Sundance and drove it home only to find out the next morning the exhaust and muffler was broke. I tried several times to have them fix it and finally Sean said to bring it in and they would make it right. Apparently making it right means you pay for half the repair cost. I don't have an extra $300 to pay for something that was already broke when purchased and it was not a "as is" sale!! Very disappointed in the way they do business I will never recommend Sundance to anyone who expects great service and honest salesmen!

Don't do it find some one else to buy from , PLEASE save yourself a lot of time and head aches I am from Indiana and made the major mistake of driving all the way from Ft Wayne area In to buy a 2010 Pontiac vibe with low miles 38,000. It won't happen again. When I got there the car it had a bad set of tires one vibrated so bad it shook the whole car. I should have left right there. Sales men said we will bring the price down for the tires . It had scratches on the sides but can be buffed out.. The saleman said they would adjust the price for that too. I also asked for an adjustment for the van I brought in , it had over half a tank of gas the sales man said he would give me a 50.00 gas check for that. So I bought the car.I told him in Indiana I take the title to the BMV and they give me my plate. He said no we will mail it to them and got the address off the internet. At the time we had been there over 6 hours waiting for all this to happen. Once I got the car it was too late to put tires on it and it being Sunday everything was closed. So I drove it home slowly took over 4 hrs to go the back way home. So here it is two weeks after I bought the car and I am unable to drive because I have no Plates for it.I called them the first week about the title , sales man said that they would send me a copy of the paper work and send the other to the BMV. BMV does not have. I don't have it ether. Still don't have the fifty gas voucher ether. They will do anything to get you to buy a car including lie to your face. I plan on more action than this. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE, IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BE FOR THEY SCREW YOU.

Seemed very disorganized. I had to keep asking question to get information. It was a long process.This was a new car.Made me wait nearly an hour after I purchased the car to speak with someone that would show me the features of the car. I asked that person a question about one of the features and he was incorrect.The car was delivered. When they delivered the car, they did not have the paper temporary Plate and had to return with it over an hour later.I was told that the car would be detailed before it was delivered. There were black handprints on the door of the backseat? ...and a small ink spot on the passenger seat that will not come out. There is some sort of glue on the inside of the back window that I have not been able to get off. This was a new car and imperfect.They hand you survey forms to rate your experience in front of them and tell you that their job depends on how you rate them. How can you possibly rate them anything but high?

I bought a 2007 Jeep Liberty from Mark Korn at Sundance. The car was Canadian and it had a lot going for it. They told me it has 42,680 miles and it ran alright. I bought the car and 20 days later it was in service for numerous things. It had a knocking in the engine, leaking sunroof, and the four wheel drive was broke. They fixed the four wheel drive and told me to take it to Champion Chrysler for the engine. I took it there and the lady informed me the car had 60,000 miles and an engine that needed to be replaced. I went back to Sundance and they told me to bring the car back so they could action it off. Well when I bought a different car the turned around and sold that jeep to someone else with a bad engine. Horrible people. They shouldn't be selling cars!

We entered dealership to look at a used vehicle but had questions about a new one. Steve Carrasco approached us on a golf cart within minutes and then answered our questions for a few hours. Very helpful and knowledgeable man. I passed on to Steve that we were at another dealership the day before and no one approached us while we were looking at new and used vehicles. Many sales people walked by before we got in our vehicle to leave. We were not mad or upset but did feel there should be better than this. We bought our new vehicle with help from Steve at Sundance.

I do want to tell you that when I drove in 2 days ago, I got "Attitude". What kind? The best. Brian greeted me as if I was a VIP or a rock star. I do not know how you get your entire work force to be so friendly and genuine, but it changes me from "having" to get my car in for something, to "wanting" to get my car in. They took my vehicle in immediately, then, I could not even get half way through the very interesting magazine article when they came to tell me I was all set to go. After running around the state of Michigan looking for the right truck and not finding it, I had salesmen trying to sell me SUVs, and Fords even after I said I only want a Chevrolet...... Sundance was my light at the end of the tunnel. I told them what I was looking for, they took me into a barn where someone just traded a Chevy 4x4 V8 Extended Cab Truck that had not one scratch on it, no rust and the carpet looks like the old owner never had feet. I normally never buy the first vehicle I am showed, but this was the prefect truck. The salesman knew exactly what I wanted and let me know he had a few. I was just bummed I did not get to see Terry Hanks while I was there. :( But, I will return for my next vehicle. My only problem was the truck came with a spare key and a Key Fob, I never got, no one could find it. They did mail me a spare key, but no FOB. :(

My wife prepared a list of a half dozen cars we wanted to look at when we got to the dealership that they said they had. When we arrived the salesman, Jimmy, said the computer system isn't always up to date so "let's just walk around and look." To be fair to Jimmy I think the issues are about the systems in place at Sundance rather than him. We could not find any of the cars we were looking for, they seemed to have no system for locating the cars that were on the lot, and when we said that we'll just look at one of the cars that looked like it could fit us, it wouldn't run. Jimmy did try to locate the vehicles, and when we spoke to the sales manager he seemed to genuinely want to help. The poor customer service rating is more about not actually being able to even test drive a car than the people. We were there for over two hours and didn't test a single car. I get the feeling Sundance has gotten too big for itself. I would say the issues are probably with the upper management of the dealership. A better tracking system is needed, at the least. I don't get how they got so big, or how they even sell any cars. I would strongly recommend avoiding Sundance. It was by far the least fruitful place we looked for cars.

Got a recall notice on our car. So I called the service dept. and talked to Dean Caulkins, he explained the recall to me, then had me bring our car in to be serviced. When I pulled in, Dean met me at the door, had me pull the car into the service bay, told me it would take about an hour, the service dept. had me back on the road in 45 minutes. Great Job Thank you

I was having trouble with my car starting and thought it was my ignition. I called Sundance to schedule service for a recall and explained the problem with the ignition. I was told that my appointment would be over a weekout. I explained that I started a new job and couldn't afford to take a chance my car wouldn't start or it would leave me stranded. I was put on hold and Jeff picked up moments later. He pulled my info and realized I had coverage that was to expire the next day. He was able to schedule me the next morning, he greeted me right away, addressed the problem associated with the recall, let me know what was causing problems with my car not starting and ordered parts for it. He had me return on Monday to leave the car and arranged transportation to and from the dealership with a very kind gentleman. Thanks to them, what could have been a costly, inconvenience, was easy and stress free. Great job!

Was happy with the service but when they washed my car they forgot to take my ornament off of the antenna and broke it. It was a gift from Navada and can't be replaced. It was my first time for maintenance and didn't know they were going to wash it. I was a little disappointed but accidents happen. It was a fireman with black glasses and a red fireman's hat. Now it's a white bald man with black glasses. Hat got smashed to pieces when next car ran over it.

My daughter recently purchased a disaster at Sundance. It promptly ran dry of oil, it leaks on the passenger side and is ruining the interior. The passenger window won't roll down, the trunk lid won't raise, trim on the outside is loose. When her passenger pulled the sunvisor down, it ripped off. Sundance can't help her and she is stuck with the disaster that she drove off their parking lot.

Sundance Chevy of Grand Ledge is nothing but a fiasco, if you want to waste hours of your day then they are the dealer for you. First off, they don't even allow you to leave reviews on their website. Next, atleast 50% of the cars listed are not still available. Our experience was nothing but a nightmare. We found 3 vehicles on the site to go look at. After applying online we never heard back, so a few days later I called them and they told me a sales rep would get back to me, never happened. We ended up going to the dealership to find out all of the vehicles of interest were gone. The last one I was interested in was apparently 'missing'. After waiting more then an hour the sales guy told us he would call and get everything set up when he finds it. After weeks of phone calls and bouncing back and forth telling me it was sold, not sold, or in the shop we finally were ready to sign. We even called ahead before coming back. When we arrived the sales rep was missing. Waiting, waiting waiting! It took 3 hours to get our paperwork done, only for the sales guy to get the name wrong and have to start over. What a joke. I will never waste that much of my time again, or waste money at a place so un-organized. For someone spending almost 40,000, it seems like the Sales rep would have been a little better at his job. Will never go back!

I waited for 3 hours just to go on a test drive. My salesman Ed Fernandez just kept telling me sorry it will just be a minute. It would seem like if it would take that long he would have had someone else help us if he was that busy. I had even called ahead the previous day so he knew I would be coming. Then when we finally did drive the car it was dirty and smelled horrible. I then left disgusted wishing I hadn't wasted my time.

my 80 year old mother is told by the body shop that her car has white flecks of paint on it and that she should get it detailed to remove the flecks of white. they set up a appointment so off she goes to get it cleaned up. well it appeared to be a very busy day and they had a lot of work that day. so why didnt they have the car come in on a less busy day. the car ended up taking all day, so i took my mother to pick it up it was all done. well it was not all done there was rubbing compound still all over it there was not alot of shine on it. i guess they didnt think a 80 year old woman would notice but her 50 year old daughter did. $100.00 not a high amount of money but still why did they give the car back not finished. too busy, too many other appointments to get done than the one they told a 80 year old woman she needed, she bought the car from them and paid cash, it not a big problem for them to sell the car to her, just a problem, to finish a job for maintence on the car that they said she needed. next time please finish jobs you start on cars that belong to seniors. dont think they cant notice a good job from a bad one.

When Sundance Chevrolet sold me a 2010 Ford Fusion, they stated that it had been "inspected" and passed. However, I discovered braking issues within 3,000 miles after purchasing the car (purchased the car at 35,000 miles, brake problems began occurring at 38,000 miles). Took vehicle to brake repair shop and they stated that the brake pads were worn out, and that they began to cause issues with the rotors. As a result, I was forced to purchase new brake pads and new rotors for all 4 wheels. I contacted Sundance Chevrolet prior to the repair, speaking to salesman Shaun Limones, and he stated that "something will be worked out" and to submit the invoice to Sundance after the repair. Having submitted the invoice to Shaun at Sundance, he told me he would contact me by a certain time to let me know how the issue could be resolved. After failing to contact me at the stated time that Shaun proposed, I contacted Sundance to be informed that they would not be reimbursing any funds to me or take any responsibility for the repair, stating that the car was sold "As Is". However, it is my belief that a proper braking system should be part of the inspection checks that were stated to have been done to sell a safe vehicle to a customer. Therefore, I had to pay the $250 repair out of my pocket. Sundance was unrepentant about the issue.

I bought a used Cadillac CTS from them a little over a week ago with a rather expensive warranty. The salesman Jimmy Johnson was awesome! Brought my car home, ran great, loved it! A few days later, Sundance sent me a certified letter saying I needed to bring my car in to have the odometer sent into GM and the cluster panel repaired due to the difference in kilometers and miles. I took it in and showed them that it was changed to show miles. They told me they had to send my odometer into GM anyway or my warranty wasn't good. I already paid for the warranty and was PROMISED by their Assistant General Manager that it would be sent in that day and they would have it back from Detroit the following day and reinstalled. They offered me a "rental" car to drive in the mean time........... That "rental" car is a 2006 Chevy Cobalt that smelled like horse manure, had Sundance stickers that went across the top of the windshield, and it was filthy. It was pouring down rain when I drove it home from Grand Ledge to Laingsburg and it hydroplaned the whole way. I drove 40 mph on the hwy in order to keep control of the vehicle. Needless to say, it was not a rental and was in no comparison to my Cadillac that I had to bring in through no fault of my own. I didn't complain, I was only going to be driving it for a day.....WRONG! Today I was told it would be 3-7 days before I am able to get my car back. They should have never put this car up for sale without fixing the issue with the odometer and cluster panel. They should have never sold me a warranty on a vehicle that was not able to be warrantied. This was a total inconvenience. They promised me a rental car and instead gave me a car that my 17 year old son might drive as a first car. I feel like I have been lied to. I'm not even comfortable with them keeping my car right now. What else could be wrong with it that I don't know about? The sales manager is not returning my calls and the service manager pretty much told me to deal with it. I WILL NEVER BUY A CAR FROM HERE AGAIN!

Both times I have bought vehicles from Sundance there were issues with the vehicles BUT the issues were taken care of quickly and made right. And forget Captain America, Matt Bates and Manager Sam are seriously my heroes. They knew I was in a bad situation and went way above and beyond what I ever would have expected. All of the staff and service department at Sundance are awesome. Just try to get me to shut up when talking to my friends, family and clients about Sundance :). I don't even care about the $ incentive for referrals, keep it :)

We received a year of free oil changes. The only problem is it's such a large dealership the time it takes to get in is ridiculous. Need to make appointments for oil changes and usually more than a week wait. Easier to pay and go somewhere else, much quicker too, unless you have 2 hrs to wait!!

I drove an hour to look at about five cars I found online, none of which were available when I got there. Asked to see cars in my price range, only really showed me cars well over my price range. Eventually found something I wanted 2000 over what I wanted to spend. Took about a week to get approved. Finally picked the cars up on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday it rained noticed Thursday my car was still dripping, took a look and it was dripping coolant. Called and they wanted me to drive all the way back and they would take care of it. They gave me a rental, the blinkers didn't work and the service lights came on right away, only gave me 10 bucks for gas and I live an hour away. Friday they called and said it was ready, drove all the way back picked up my car and took it home. Two hours later my driveway was full of coolant. There service department has no clue what they are doing. Had to wait till Monday and bring it to someone I knew and have sundance pay for it elsewhere. I will do anything I can to not have to use there survive department. They did take care of it though so I can't be mad at that.

Test drove a Z3 sitting on their lot for what I would consider to be a premium price. Older 02 with typical wear however after driving for 5 minutes it was apparent that there were serious issues with oil leaks and air conditioning unit was fried. Was obvious after closer inspection of the engine compartment that they had intentionally (half heatedly) cleaned it up so they could pass the issues on to another poor unsuspecting buyer looking for a fun summer car. Attitude sure seemed that they have every intention of continuing to sell without correcting the issues due to the premium price they supposedly paid at auction. Also, typical used car scam where there isn't enough gas to get it to the corner let alone a proper test drive i.e. warm enough that potential issues show up. Fair warning, may not be with every vehicle but certainly was with this one. No chance of doing business with these scam artists.

Bought a van after testing out a few different vehicles. The van had the abs light on. Salesman was confident that the light was because of the snow and the fact that the van sat a while with the parking brake engaged. He thought the computer just needed a reset and it should be fine. We bought it on the condition that they'd inspect it when we brought it back in for the cleaning. Brought it in the next day at noon. All day we hear nothing. So we call at 7 and ask about it. The mechanic says that the abs unit is bad and a replacement is coming the next day. Both the wife and I ask him what that's going to cost. He says no charge, it's been approved to be replaced. So the next day we wait, and still hear nothing. I call at 3, and the mechanic this time says that the repair was denied by the salesman. Speak to him, and yes, since it was sold "as-is" with just a look at the brake system, no repair was to be done. While true, it doesn't make sense that their mechanic told both my wife and me something different. So we came in to pick up the van. They couldn't find it. After 45 minutes of searching they find it in the barn, signed to be sold. They were trying to resell our van! No cleaning was done, in fact they threw out our ice scrapper. A half-hearted apology later we got our van back. Never going back.

The salesman knew nothing about the vehicles, but we decided on one ourselves and went with it. Noticing the abs light, we questioned it. We asked for them to look into it when we dropped it off the next day for a cleaning.After 7 hours we called asking what was going on. The mechanic said the abs module was bad and a replacement was coming in the next day. I asked how much that would cost and he said it was taken care of and approved. We called the next day and was told the repair was denied. No one apparently knows what the other is doing. When we came in to take the vehicle back, they couldn't find it. Turns out it was dumped in their barn to be sold. We had already bought it and they were trying to sell it again! No cleaning was done, and the ice scrapper and brush we had in there were pitched. Shoddy service. Do not trust them.

I could write a book on what I went through with Sundance.... I drove 160 miles to look at a 2000 silverado 1500 z71 with 90k advertised at a good price. The Dealer I worked with was Shaun Limones. Upon arrival and initial inspection the truck appeared as clean as I had been told. The SES light came on within a minute of the truck starting. He actually left me with the truck to drive to autozone to get the truck scanned so he could work with another customer. the scan showed a code for random cylinder misfire. I told him to get the truck fixed, and maybe I would still consider getting the truck. They even gave me $40 in gas and assured me they would get "my" truck fixed.... I recieved a call the next day saying the truck was fixed and ready to go. They said they replaced all plugs, wires, and one coil pack. It seemed satisfactory to me, as this is a typical repair for that code. Reluctantly I went back and bought the truck with a 30 day limited warranty. (This is all they would offer) hoping the savings would offset any small repairs. Within a mile of leaving the dealership which was then closed, the SES light came on and started blinking. (Dead Miss) I got the truck home and the nightmare began. Upon inspection, the plugs and wires were replaced. No coil pack however! All the bolts had rust on them! I found myself taking videos and recording phone calls. Shaun was really good at saying he'd call me back in a few minutes to not hear back til the next day. I demanded they fix it free because it was supposed to be fixed before I bought it. They were supposed to drop my car off, but instead showed up and said they were taking the truck. No notice, and I was at work. They had said they'd pick the truck up within days not a week and a half. Apparently it was at their convenience not mine. So they picked it up with no notice, then had the nerve to tell me they wouldn't drop it back off. (160 miles!) Shaun said," They already have to much into the truck. " Reminder that I have all of this recorded... They called and said it was fixed the day after and said that it was good to go. MAP sensor. ($10 part). Not falling for it, I made them have the mechanic call me. I told him to take it on the highway. The truck that was "Fixed", wasn't. They had to re-program the cam position sensor. They had no interest in actually fixing the truck right the first time. They would have had me come down a third time and it STILL wouldn't have been fixed. I picked up the truck making it my third and final trip to Grand Ledge. This time it took up not only my day but my girlfriend's too since we needed two vehicles. the manager gave me a pathetic $30 gas card to "Make it right" HA! Since then, there is a tick in the cams (probably from the sensor being bad) and I've already had to pay $270 for a wheel bearing that blew out and left me stranded on my lunch break. If you have read all of this, I hope you can see the deception and mistreatment. Dealers are clearing off SES codes and hoping they stay off just long enough to sell the vehicle. I will never buy a used vehicle from a dealer again. Also, don't believe you are getting the full story on the reviews for their website. I wanted to post this on there, but apparently they place only the ones they want to be seen. All other review websites are giving them horrible ratings. (So it hasn't just been me!)

My family and I (wife and 2 young children) needed a new car. My wife did some shopping around on-line prior to going to the dealer so we knew what we wanted. Upon arrival we asked about a specific vehical (Cadilac CTS) we had found and liked. We brought a print out of that vehicle in hopes this would speed up the proceedure. The sales person that came out to help us when we arrived was given the info (print out) and we asked if we could see it. We were told it was at a different lot and to follow him. We drove our vehicle over to the other lot which was a total mess with cars stacked in like cord wood. The lay out was less than impressive and extremely messy looking. Once he tracked down the car, he came and told us it may have sold but he needed to call someone. While we were waiting for confirmation he took us around by foot to look around. We started in the "barn". That was the worst thing I had ever walked through and can not believe they even showed us this. Cars were again stacked in tight and some had such a thick layer of dust on them you couldn't even tell the color. Needless to say I found nothing of interest in there. We proceeded back outside and looked around some more. My wife had 1 other print out as a second choice, we asked to see that one. He said we had to go back to the other lot we started from. We again followed him back. Once we arrived he said he needed to go "find" it from his computer inside. We waited in the parking lot. He came out and said it was again somewhere else and told me I should go take my family to lunch as he needed an hour to get it to where we were. I actually did this. An hour later we returned and guess what? Still no car. He told us there was a mix up and the car may not be available for sale. At this point we had invested about 3 hours of our time with nothing happening. I asked him if he could simply take down my number and call me if either car was indeed available. He said sure lets go inside. My wife and I followed him in and he took out a multi layer carbon copy form. I told him I was not going to fill out some big form and just wanted a phone call if they actually figured out if the cars were available to see. He told me that was what he was doing and then asked me for my full name. I told him and he started filling out this form and asked "is that your full legal name" and then I had it with him. I told him I simply wanted a call and had wasted enough time. I walked out. There is nothing this place could ever offer to get me back there. It was the worst experience I have had trying to purchase a vehicle. The place is like a puppy mill in my opinion. Extremely disorganized with zero respect for customers. Long story short we checked 3 more dealers that afternoon all better than Sundance and we got our car (2005 BMW 530) at the 3rd stop without a single trip back and forth, lot to lot looking for the car. The difference in dealerships compared to Sundance is hard to explain. Pure disappointment to satisfaction.

Bought a used 07 tahoe it had some issues with it that were fixed at my request the shifter broke while I was test driving it they of course fixed that they did some minor paint work to the front bumper and hood for me and they're replacing a pretty pricey front airsuspension strut. Keith Lloyd did a wonderful job keeping me informed on the financial process and as well as progress of the repairs. They did a good job getting the payments around where I wanted and gave me some nice options for financial institutions. Ill go back to Keith and sundance for future cars.

STAY AWAY!!. First of all, let me say that the last time we were in this dealership was 20 years ago when we purchased a used car. The car turned out to be a piece of junk (transmission went out in less than one week which cost $2,000 to repair) and we swore we would never do business here again. Well, 20 years later, my sister found a car at this dealership and we (reluctantly) returned with her as we agreed to co-sign for her loan. In all, we spent about 6 hours wading through the paperwork to close the deal, which included a trade in. The salesman switched the plates and handed over the keys to the new car and off we went. The next day, the salesman called and said we forgot to pay the $3,000 down payment to which we replied, "Is this a joke?" During the deal transaction, we had informed the salesman several times that we were not planning to make any down payment. At the time we were signing the paperwork, I noticed that there was a line item showing a cash payment of $3,000 to which I said -- "why is this on here, we are not making a down payment." To which he replied, "Oh ignore that, that is related to your trade in." So we went on to sign the remainder of the paperwork. I'm sure you can guess the rest of the story. We went back to the dealership the next day and discussed the issue with two managers and the owner -- which again was a total waste of our time. We returned the car and got our trade in back. They stated that it was simply "miscommunication." Whatever it was, it was definately bad business and ruined their chances of any future business with us. Some things never change!

I bought a car from Sundance recently and was only given 1 key with no key fob. I was told I would have to pay out of pocket to get another key and a key fob so I am in the process of doing so. Other than that the car is very nice but I feel it is bad business not to throw in something as simple as a key and key fob that should have came with the car without question.

My husband bought a jeep at Sundance a few months ago through Tommy Liles. The wheel sensors went bad in it so they sent it back to Jeep to get fixed at their cost. My truck was totaled last week and I found a used one at Sundance I really wanted to see. We met with Tommy at 10:30am, took it for a test drive and by 12:30p, we had negotiated the price, signed the paperwork, put the downpayment on it and I will drive my new truck off their lot on Thursday!! We received excellent customer service from Tommy and so far, excellent repair service. We will definitely buy from them again when we need to!!

Bought a diesel truck from here and had issues from day one. I called the service department and was told that my truck was still under warranty. So I brought it back even though I was unhappy with previous service. I came back later to pick it up and it was no longer under warranty the problem wasnt fixed I wasnt called with the status of the situation and they wanted to charge need for the diagnosis. made a 2 hour trip there too buy my wife a new (used) SUV. Called ahead of time too ask if their website was up too date and mike assured me it was. Spent a good 3 hours looking at cars and he didn't even show us the one we drove there for. I should have asked for a new salesman when the put us in a car we didn't even want too look at first thing. Eventually found one we liked that was just over 2x what we wanted too spend. They should have been ashamed of selling this car. The detail job was terrible, upon driving it the 2 hours back we found the headlights point straight down, the high beam was burnt out, so when I changed that parts inside the lens started rattling around so I need too replace the entire assembly, and then a day later we discovered the moonroof leaked. Also every car we drove had a empty tank and it was like pulling teeth too get them too put some gas in it for us. We love the car, don't get me wrong, but avoid Mike. Maybe they have better salesmen but I didn't get that experience.

So I just finished an email exchange with the Better Business Bureau about Sundance. By the way, don't bother with BBB if you have any complaints- because I didn't fork over the additional $4000 for a warranty on the Jeep I bought, the BBB won't investigate.The rear differential on my Jeep (that has just over 80,000 miles) just went out and when I took it to be looked at at another dealership (not Sundance), they told me that the differential had been a "patch job" (so this has been a reoccurring problem) and that the fix wasn't designed to last. The experience at the Sundance mirrors the experience of the people who drove 75 miles each way (we drove 50 each way). We were pressured to name our "top price" and then they figured out our payments. When we told them later that we discovered that the tow lights didn't work, the windshield washing fluid receptacle was missing, they told us that we had bought it "as is". The rear differential should last at least 100.000 miles (I was told). When we called the dealership about this, they told us there was nothing they could do about it.I would be interested to see just how many people have bought cars from Sundance that were just patched and sold-We are up a creek, with no car, $6800 left on the car loan, and now a $1200 fix. . .DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE

i sent a request for information about a used vehicle and asked for my question to be answered via email and to not receive any telephone calls from the dealer. the email i received was the salesperson's name and telephone number asking me to call them. my question was not answered via email as i had requested. if i wanted to call and speak with a salesperson i would have done that initially rather than send the email.

Bought a used van from Sundance but had a hard time doing so. Salesman couldn't find the vehicles on the lot I wanted to test, kept disappearing, waiting on multiple people, etc. Took hours to buy a vehicle then I couldn't take it because it wasn't ready. First highway trip I discovered brakes were bad and my salesman was on vacation. They finally fixed the problem but took 6 hrs of my time to get it there and wait. Now I've had the van 3 weeks and the alternator went out; found out the dealership never checked it mechanically before delivering it to me, they only cleaned it up. They won't do anything for me to fix the alternator and the front end problem. I certainly won't be buying at Sundance again and don't recommend it to anyone.

I was considering purchasing a used car so my wife and I went to Sundance because they had a Honda Accord that we wanted to look at. We were greeted by a salesman who had chewing tobacco all over his lips and around his mouth. After telling him we wanted to look at the Honda Accord he started to try to show us several other cars and eventually started in on the Chevrolet Volt. We were not in the market for a $40,000 car and told him this. I told him that we were specifically looking for a car in the $12,000 price range that we could pay cash for but he would not shut up about the Chevy Volt! My wife got so irritated she walked off to wait in the car. At this point I tried looking at some other cars but he just kept going on and on about the Volt. The salesman even said that he would pay me $5 to sit in it! You can't even make this stuff up! At this point I am done but need to use the restroom so I go inside and when I come out he is waiting for me with information on the Chevy Volt and his card so that I can come find him if I ever get tired of paying high gas prices. My experience at Sundance made me decide to not even get a different car and to just keep the one I have. I think I have post traumatic stress disorder now too because I have to change the channel every time a Sundance Chevrolet commercial comes on the TV or radio. I would encourage anyone to go out of their way to avoid Sundance Chevrolet!

Just purchased a 2011 Chevy Cruze and was very happy with the experience we had. This was the 2nd car we purchased there in 3 years. I feel we got a very fare price on both cars we purchased. I was going to finance through my credit union and the salesman searched for a lower rate than I had and saved me $450 over the loan. Also, couldn't check over the car real good because of the weather and when I got the car home I noticed a few small things wrong, called the salesman and he said he would take care of the problems, give me a loaner car, and drive the car back to me. (talk about service!!)

Purchased a 2005 Chevy Malibu at Sundance Chevrolet in Grand Ledge. Told the sales lady my price range on the phone, I had been speaking with her all day. After I went there she tried to add 1500 in extra fees to the amount I told her I had to spend. They offered me a warrenty after I had already made out my check and did not have another one to make out or redo. I was not really satisfied with this dealership and will probably not purchase from them again. This was my first automobile purchase by myself and I felt as if they were trying to take advantage of me. I held firm to the price I had to spend but the car has a few problems that I have to have repaired. This make and model is also on the recall list for fuel pumps and this is the problem I am having with it. I called Sundance to get this problem resolved but my car's VIN # is not on the recall list so they said they would repair the car at my cost.

I needed to get out of my Envoy for price reasons, with gas and my payment I just could no longer afford it. I went to Sundance's website and found a nice cheap van I would be able to pay off right away. I submitted an app online, and was contacted by a salesman. He informed me the bank would never finance for that cheap of a vehicle, and offered me a 2005 impala. This was the ONLY car offered to me ever. I came in on the weekend to test drive it, and it was filthy. The woman that traded it in had not even pulled her stuff out of the car. I had to move her stroller out of the trunk to make room for my own specialized stroller/wheelchair for my son. I agreed to the car, which began a whirlwind of pressure! They kept coming to me demanding more money down, soon 500 turned into 2400 and they would hold the car, keep me in the Envoy until I came up with the 2400. To me that's alot of money, and I already am struggling with the Envoy payment, how could I get an extra 2400 around? Crying, and terribly frustrated, I went to GL Ford, and they got me right into a really nice Lexus with 500 down! I pay over 125 a month less, and I have driven all week on 1/2 tank of gas! Sundance really needs to clean up their act, they really are not very helpful anymore.

What a dealer !!!! We just bought a new Malibu and we had never step foot on the dealer grounds or talked to a sales man before this deal it all started with the commercial then a phone call. I talked to the finance manager then he handed me off to Pat Wilcox our salesman. Pat went ABOVE AND BEYOND to get us what we were looking for they didn't have the color we wanted and also said a 2011 had more rebates then the 2012 because of the year end clearance. so we said ok get us a 2011 so they did a dealer trade with another local dealer. Keep in mind we have yet to step foot on the dealer grounds.Once we had the car located and at Sundance next came getting financed and that was also very easy he gave us the interest rate and payment and it didn't change one bit from the phone calls to delivery! I can not say enough about this dealer and our salesman HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this dealer

Suffice it to say, they will be building snowmen in hell before I EVER go back to Sundance again. I purchased 2001 Aurora in Feb 2011 that was advertised as having heated leather seats, amongst many other features, and 2 key fobs so all the security features could be utilized. What a joke! I was hit by a drunk driver on I-496, my car was totaled, and I was seriously injured. Once I got back on my feet and was able to drive, I was a little desperate for a vehicle, so this is truly a case of buyer beware. I ended up leasing this vehicle. I drove it off the lot with an empty tank and was given a gas voucher...for $6. I hadn't even gotten it to the gas station less than 2 miles away, when the "check engine" light came on. I took it to Auto Zone and had them run diagnostic codes and found out the O2 sensor was bad. They fixed it free of charge and told me when I picked it up that they had ordered 2 new key fobs (4 mos later, I still haven.t seen them, I asked for key fobs for 2 mos straight). There are NO heated leather seats. There never was. Not even a button or switch anywhere for heated seats. Anyway, after the 02 sensor was replaced, the check engine light was on again in less than 48 hours. This time is was the speed sensor and air intake valve. Would Sundance fix it? Sure, and they would pay 15% of the bill! I took it to another dealership and had the oil changed and was informed I had 10 lights bulbs out. They were able to replace only 7 of them. The sockets for the other 3 need to be replaced, they are corroded because of all the condensation that gets behind the light covers. The car starts when it feels like starting, and its not the battery. As soon as the weather started to warm up, I tried turning on the air conditioning. You guessed it...that doesn't work either. All of the sensors that are part of the luxury of an Aurora are shot. NONE of them work...tire sensors, oil sensor, security sensor...doesn't work. I wrote to Nick C, financial manager, about this to no avail. I finally called him 5 weeks later and was referred to Joe H, leasing manager. I explained all the issues to him, he said he would call me back "later" and 5 weeks later I am still waiting. Did I mention the trunk also smells musty and the spare tire well fills with water when it rains? The trunk lid itself fills with water. The spare tire well is one big rust stain and the trunk stinks. When I complain about any of this, I am told things like, "My check engine light has been on for 2 years now, its probably nothing" or "the problem is the seals on (insert various auto makes and models) were known to go bad and...." --and I am still waiting. To add insult to injury, on August 11 received a letter postmarked and written August 10 telling me my car payment was a whopping TWO days overdue, and if I didn't pay it in 5 days they would take legal action. On August 16, they showed up to repo the car. It cost me $420 to get the car back, but there is a co-signer on the lease who was never even informed. They buy cars by the dozens at auctions and they do what they need to in order to make them look decent and start. I agree with the previous writer who said people who go there are nothing more than $$ signs walking the parking lot. They have roughly 50 salesmen (according to another salesman there when I mentioned there had to be at least 25 other salesmen). I went to Courtesy Ford in Okemos 4 weeks ago and got a used Ford Escape for 2k more than this Aurora was. It runs like a charm and is mint inside and out. AVOID SUNDANCE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

My daughter and I drove 75 miles to look at 4 or 5 cars there. We had the specific cars already picked out and the dealer didn't have to spend anytime with us(we didn't want to waste anyone's time). Well we really liked one of the 3 cars Brian showed us. Brian was pleasant to work with, and asked what we were willing to pay. I figure let's just cut to the chase and gave him the price we couldn't go over. Well after talking to the manager (8 minutes) then coming back and verifying my "story" of another vehicles price at a different dealer and looking it up online right in front of us (as though we were making it up!) He disappeared into the managers office for 10 minutes. Brian came back with the manager Dale? maybe? Dale then proceeded to tell me all the reasons why our offer was lame. Well when Brian left to check with the manager the second time he gave us the feeling that the deal very well might go through, so needless to say with the manager and how he acted my daughter and I said we were disappointed and the 2.5 hour 150 mile trip was a total waste of time. I would never go back to Sundance. Perhaps I'm not savvy enough at working with used car dealers but we had a terrific experience at Suburban of West Michigan and Pfeiffer Farms in Byron Center. So I know there are good used car dealers out there.Wayne L.
