Bought a car from joe and he made sure it was one of the easist things ive done had minor concerns with car being pre owned but so far so good cant complain their service reminds you of those mom and pop diners you love to go to for the hospitality thanks joe we will be back

This is simply a good place to buy a used car. I love my 2006 Mustang, and I came here with realistic expectations. Elienyc, after reading your review, I decided to post mine without being passive aggresive and insulting Joe's business right and left while giving him backhanded compliments. When you open up your car lot you can call it whatever you want, maybe Smelly Ellys would be a good name because your review stinks.

I didn't buy a car from Joe, but I would go back there again to look for a "deal." I think used car *buyers* are complicit in their own downfall and actually perpetuate the shady tactics of some used car salesman. We want "like new" cars for "like bicycle" prices. And if a salesman tells us that they can get us into our "dream" car we have no business of affording, we're happy to think it's because *we* were so smart/savvy/informed to find the diamond in the rough when really we just getting the shiniest lump of coal. Joe is not like that. And I say "Joe" because "Sunrise Used Cars" is clearly an old-school, dirt lot, mom and pop used car lot that's run by one guy supporting his family. It's kind of awesome that way. His cars are all a bit worn. I don't mean that in a bad way necessarily, because his prices are all run down too. You don't leave Joe's thinking "I can't believe I'm getting a car for this little!" You leave thinking, "Okay, well, this is what that car at that price is supposed to look like." He's not spending a lot on "showrooms" and "polish" and balloon animals that mask the scratch on the bumper. He's there saying "Yep, there's a scratch on the bumper, repairing that would cost you a whole new bumper." He's passing those savings onto you, and also the decision onto you. Do you want a car with shiny new detailing, or do you want a car for a cheap price? Ultimately, we didn't go with him because after looking at the Carfax, we determined that it was actually worth it to us to pay more (eventually, a lot more) to get a better car. We had the means to do so, but if I could only afford the make/model of car I wanted at Joe's prices, I would go to Joe 10 times over some other lot that "claims" to be priced as low as Joe but then isn't after they start adding on a bunch of hidden fees. And I'd certainly go to Joe over paying some of these disreputable people a little bit more for a car that "looks" better than one of Joe's cars, but actually isn't. I can't say that Joe has the best cars, but I do think that his cars have the most verisimilitude for his prices. Joe's is like a giant reality check for how much you want to spend. And if you find his inventory lacking, you probably need to raise your price point or lower your expectations. And btw, Joe, if you are reading, I think you should change the lot's name to something that incorporates your own. "Used Cars By Joe" or "Joe's Family Cars." You are a straight shooter and a good person. "Sunrise Used Cars" incorrectly makes you sound like one of the rest.

Joe gave me a great deal on a 2005 CTS in like new condition. Great place to buy a car. No high pressure sales tactics, very honest guy.
