We had a bad experience at another dealership so we thought while we were out we would try Sunset Ford. From the moment we walked in we felt comfortable. When we started working with Tim the comfort level was even better. He listened to what we were looking to do in terms of getting another car. He did not push his own agenda upon us. He was pleasant and easy to work with. He didn't make us feel like we were making a stupid decision to lease a car. The employee at Sunset Ford were the most professional sales group that we have ever talked with when shopping for a vehicle. We did a lot of browsing on the internet and had some idea what make and model we were interested in looking at and taking for a test drive. We didn't know about a lot of the features on the vehicle and the Manager Jason Straub welcomed us to the facility and asked salesman Larry Burchardt to talk with us and show us some vehicles. There was no pressure when wetold them we were pre-approved thru our credit union. All the features and different packages were explained to us and there were many options we could handle the process. After test driving the ford edge we talked to Larry and Jason Straub about getting a quote on a vehicle and a price on our trade in.We were happy with the price of both and ended up taking our new vehicle home that day.Justin Lombard talked to us about financing thru the dealership and extended warranty and we received a great deal and decided to go thru their financing instead of our credit union.We are thrilled to have shopped at Sunset Ford and we would recommend the dealership to anyone looking to purchase a Ford vehicle. I was in need of an upgrade from my Ford Escape that had 216K miles. My 3 week old 2016 Mustang GT had been backed into on a subdivision street. I was beyond disappointed and made an appointment with Sunset Ford. From the first meeting to the subsequent follow ups, Debbie kept me in the loop on everything that was going on - from the insurance claim to the arrival of repair parts. I came in close to closing time and Debbie and Jennifer were always helpful and gave me confidence that my $40K car was going to be taken care of. Even when I noticed some larger panel gaps when I came to pick it up, Debbie immediately got the shop manager and made sure the issue was addressed. I had to come back again because the replacement headlight wasn't working - but Jennifer made sure I had a loaner Escape while I left my Mustang and carried on to get to work. All in all, I had a great experience in a bad situation. Debbie and Jennifer were a huge part of that.

After a lot of internet searching, I landed on Sunset Ford's website. This was my first vehicle purchase on my own. My experience at Sunset Ford in St. Louis was fantastic! We had to replace our car that was totaled in an accident. With the reputation of having to work with a "used car salesperson", we were not enthused about the process. In fact, the first dealership we visited we encountered a salesman that fulfilled that reputation. Fortunately, we decided that we would continue our search. We decided to stop at Sunset Ford. That was one of the best decisions that we could have made. Sunset has been around for well over 100 years, so they must be doing something right. We stopped in the used car lot and began searching. We had previously decided that we really were interested in a Ford Focus Hatchback. As we were looking, we were approached by Sam Martin. What a delight he turned out to be. Sam made us very comfortable. He listened to what we wanted and helped us find the right car. He produced a document with their entire inventory, found our choice from the list and started searching. He kept in mind our financial situation and located a car that fit our needs completely. He explained the benefits of doing business with Sunset Ford, without pressure. We wanted to do business with Sam. We will recommend, to friends and relatives, to do business with Sam, and Sunset Ford. We will be repeat customers.

My experience with Randy Ennis was great. He was very accommodating and made sure to get answers to any and all of my questions. Randy and his Sales Manager were both easy to work with and were understanding of my specific cash deal situation. I would send anybody to see them for a deal. The second Salesperson on my deal was Mike Geraghty. Mike made sure the car got ran through the shop on time to deliver the car for me. He also did a great job when I called with a small problem a couple days after I took delivery of the car. He was able to set it up with the service department and the rental department to make sure that both myself and my car got taken care of. Everyone went out of their way to make sure that I was happy with my purchase and that all of my concerns were put to rest. Mike, Randy and everyone at the dealership were excellent to work with.

I was not looking for anything in particular when I walked in. I was a little put off by the lack of help I received right away but when Sam did come to assist, he made the experience as positive as it could be. He helped me make sure I stayed within my price range while finding me cars that suited my needs. He was not pushy by showing me cars out of my price range and I felt like he genuinely cared about how I felt about the car rather than just trying to close a deal. When it came to my financial concerns, Jason assisted me every step of the way. He did not try to sell me on things that I did not need but instead made sure to point out the things that I might want to consider when financing a car as well as explained his reasoning behind everything he proposed to me. This was a very positive experience overall and I would definitely go back.

Anymore, people can do all their research and shopping before entering the lot. I did some of this but I was very happy with how well Keith handled my buying experience from the moment I entered the door and through the process of test driving, then my nagging questions, and the finally the hand off of the keys. Buying a car is a big deal, especially when it represents a fourth of your yearly salary. Keith wanted to make sure I was comfortable making the purchase, and honestly, between the car manufacturers and the extensive certification process that pre-owned dealers conduct you are confident that you're getting a good car.

We visited Sunset on a wimp to checkout the Ford Escape. We had previously owned one and traded down for a car. After a few months we realized we missed our suv. After my initial inquiry on line, Howard was prompt to contact me and set up a time for me to view the truck. Due to my job I was running late and he didn't have a problem with that. Even though we ending up running past their closing time, he personally cleaned and filled the truck up so we wouldn't have to any longer. I had a difficult situation that was made easy by everyone involved. I purchased a truck from another dealer that I wasn't happy with. My overall experience was great, fast, and easy. Brad Johnson was always available for me and was very professional even though he's only in his early 20s. That being said I was very taken back by the finance guy, who I believe was named Jason Schrijver. He was very nice until I stated I could not afford and was not interested in any extended warranties. He then insisted I still listen to all of them, whichi I did, and once I still denied interest in them he became very arrogant, rude, and overall unpleasant to work with. If I would have started my experience with the finance guy instead of Brad I would not have stayed to purchase a vehicle from this dealership.

I called on OCTOBER 3rd to set up an appointment at 430 on October 4th to have the front brakes changed out on my wife's Escape. I was informed at that time that all appointments were booked but that is part of the quick lane service and no appointment was needed. Arrived a little before 430 and spoke to the advisor who then asked me if I was dropping it off for tommorow. I advised no I need the car and that is not an option. The brakes are squeaking and I need them changed out and cannot drop the car off. He then proceeded to tell me again that he can't do it tonight but I can drop it off for tomorrow and that he can't get to it tonight. ( They close at 6) I said well I guess I will go somewhere else. He smiled and said ok. This isn't the first time I have had problems with them able to do quick lane work before they close. Sunset ford get with the times every body works, every body needs their car and nobody likes sitting on the dealer one saturday. To sunset ford management ask your self how many people ( paying customers) get turned away just to take their money somewhere else. I will not be back to your St. Louis location for anything

We went to look at a couple of Mustangs on the lot. I had been looking on the internet. The internet salesperson was very nice and not at all pushy. He set up an appointment for us to come in and look at the 2 vehicles that I was interested in. We have NEVER purchased a car the first day we went into a dealership. My Husband and I purchase brand-new vehicles every other year. We have always been Chevy Silverado owners because his Grandfather retired from General Motors and the discount we got was unbeatable. Well unfortunately he passed away this year and since we can no longer use the discount I talked my Husband into looking at Ford F-150's. Prior to my Husband I had owned a Mercury Mountaineer which I loved and I have always thought Ford vehicles just looked so much nicer and higher end then Chevy which is rather plain and simple in appearance. So I started checking around online for the best Ford dealership and came across Sunset Ford and their unlimited miles unlimited years lifetime warranty which isn't offered by anyone else so we knew that's where we would start. On the way we thought it seemed to good to be true and assumed when we got there we would discover some "catch" and so we didn't allow ourselves to get over ally excited. Well guess what we were so wrong. It wasn't to good to be true... it was to good and so true that we both drove the trucks we had picked out home the very next day! What's even better is Ford has such amazing incentives that we actually purchased the trucks for the same price we could get with the GM discount on a Silverado with far less options and overall an inferior truck! I wish we would have known this a long time ago because if so we would have been driving Ford trucks all along! We are both extremely satisfied with our purchase. Now as for the purchasing process oh my! Steer clear of a salesman named Cory! He is very rude and will harrass you non-stop even making passive aggressive threats to get you back into the dealership before the truck you're interested in is sold or sent to their other location. He doesn't appreciate your business and just moves on to the next customer without even acknowledging the fact you just purchased not one but two $50,000 trucks! The only thing keeping his job for him I suppose is the excellent management skills provided by Larry. He is very straight up and sincere. He kindly smoothed over all the issues Cory created. Also financing is usually the worst most time consuming part of the process but not at Sunset thanks to the very knowledgeable Justin Lombard... it was insanely quick actually the quickest we have ever went through and by far the least stressful. We filled out the apps around 6 pm and left. The next morning right around 9 am he called just needing us to email him a copy of our check stubs. We sent them and he called back about an hour later with an approval on both trucks through Ford Credit. Not just an approval either the best rate and terms we have ever had on any purchase! Honestly Justin Lombard single handedly earned our business for life!

Very happy with the car we purchased and got it for a very good price. They stayed past closing hours to get the paperwork and financing done, so we could take the vehicle home that night. The only complaint I have, is not being offered some water or something to drink. Aside from that, we were very pleased.

This is the second vehicle I have bought from Sunset Ford. It was only a few months ago that I bought my first truck. Jim and the people at Sunset Ford treated me so well that it was no surprise when I needed a new company truck I looked first at Sunset Ford. I called Jim and told him I needed a used truck we begin to look at the vehicles over the phone. The truck then I ended up buying was nearly $13,000 cheaper than the one we had talked about on the phone. The thing I love about Jim is he never tries the upsell you he always let you find a vehicle that best fit you in this case I have a new company truck and I save myself $13,000 not over buying. Although I do have to say that it's not as great as my first truck. It just may have something to do with the fact that my first truck is a Ford raptor with 411 hp, turbocharged, extreme off-road package, and top-of-the-line Ford truck. I guess it's just hard to beat the Ford raptor. Thanks Jim and staff!

Only reason I gave four stars instead of 5 was because we were actually wanting a higher end vehicle and I feel the sales rep missed a great opportunity to move us up to the Titanium model Fusion with very little effort. I was in the market for a gently used pickup truck that could pull a horse trailer safely. This was a new direction for me so I spent time researching, asking questions, and test driving pickups. I stopped by Sunset Ford to see their pre-owned stock. I met salesman Mike Geraghty who immediately researched the trailer tow capacity of the used trucks available. I knew I was in good hands because he was very thorough - and he also checked into additional features that would make the driving experience wonderful. Like power pedals because I'm petite. I went to Sunset Ford looking to purchase a 2014 Ford Flex. I had my eye on 2 particular Flex's, knowing I would probably only have a chance at the one. As my brother and I were pulling up to Sunset Ford, there was a couple driving the Ford Flex that I was certainly going to purchase. I was very upset, again, I knew the other one (was more of what I wanted but above what I thought I could afford). I spoke to Sam Martin (who remembered us from a few days ago), and he advised me that the couple was going to buy that Flex they were looking at. Sam knew I was upset and did an amazing job at explaining my options to me, kept me calm and didn't allow me to get too down. He advised me to look at other financial option (I had assumed my best option was my credit union that I had banked at for years). Again, Sam explained the benefits to "shop around" for the best rates as it would not harm my credit or anything. After a short time and an awesome visit with Jason Schrijver (finance), I drove away with the Ford Flex that I truly wanted and payments I could afford, not to mention unbelievable lifetime warranties so I have the piece of mind of knowing everything is taken care of. Do to the warranties that Jason offered me, I will be able to pay this Flex off and give it to my son for his first vehicle. Thanks to Sam for not allowing me to get frustrated and walk out, thinking I had no chance at getting the vehicle I wanted so bad. I am referring all my family and friends to Sam Martin and Jason Schrijver!!!

I came by looking for a very specific Ford Fusion that I saw on Sunset's website. Sam Martin was there to help us with a test drive and giving us additional info to take home. Came by later the next week and Sam had to give me the bad news that the car had been sold, but said he would keep his eyes open for a similar vehicle. Luckily (for me), shortly after I left he called me and said that the deal on the car had fallen through and was still available. I appreciated him being persistent and following up so that we could get the car we were looking for. He was very easy to work with and did not apply any pressure on making the sale. He was pleasant, helpful and friendly. The Finance team was slow to deal with, detracting from the overall Sunset experience, but Sam was the linchpin in making the deal happen.

I saw an advertisement for the Ford Financing and went in to see what I could do since I was trading in my 2011 F150 for a 2016 F150. I had looked online and was contacted by Donna once I saw the inventory available. I was very specific with he model that I wanted and Steve did everything possible to get me what I was looking for. I feel that Sunset Ford worked with me and got me exactly what I needed and also a good deal on my trade in and my new truck. The truck I wanted was in the Waterloo location so Steve had it there waiting for me in Sunset Hills the next day. Everyone handled themselves well and didn't play games with me on the price. Do not get your car serviced here. My auto was in an accident and they received a hefty check to fix it. They missed problems, ran the gas out of the car, it was filthy. They claimed recouping wash it due to the drought. They missed a huge problem. They claimed the AC wasn't working but when I got in the car it was perfect. They got spotty when I brought the car back because it was dripping oil, oil they didn't clean.

This was one of the most painless purchases we have ever made.Donna worked with us on line. The car was basically purchased on line and phone from Donna provided that my trade-in was as I had described it to them on the phone.Were were transferred to Tim Stewart's care after we arrived at the dealership and a deal was finalized. We then were sent to Treff who helped us save money by showing us various financing options.We were treated fairly on the purchase price and our trade-in by people who were not only pleasant, but a treat to deal with.The dealership we used before were offered the same deal we made at Sunset. Initially I was looking at a new 2016/2017 Ford Mustang Ecoboost. Casey was my sales guy. He helped me get inside the car I was looking for and take it for a test drive very quickly. I really liked the car, but found there were a few features missing. I did some research and discovered they had the model and color I was looking for, only it was pre-owned. I was worried I would be met with resistance for trying to look at a pre-owned, slightly less expensive car, versus the new car I looked at previously. I was pleasantly surprised to find that he was just as accommodating when it came to taking this used car far a spin! It was definitely not what I was expecting when I envisioned trying to purchase a new car (I imagined some awful, overbearing salesman stalking me around a car lot.) They gave me a fair price for my trade-in and made the entire process quick and painless, without any pushy sales tactics. Plus I got the perfect car!Casey was incredibly sweet and seemed to know his stuff, which made me much more comfortable. I also liked that he was pretty close in age to me (mid-twenties) because he understood the kinds of features I was looking for. Finally, I received a handwritten note from him afterwards thanking ME for working with HIM (true or not, it was a very nice touch! He also mentioned they would take good care of my trade-in since he knew I was concerned about it.) I would definitely seek him out to purchase a car in the future and I would recommend him to anyone in the market for a Ford!

We were referred to Howard Wood by a family member who has purchased vehicles from Howard for more than 20 years. We buy a new vehicle about every 10 years and absolutely HATE the process. He recognized that very quickly and even asked if we had bad experiences in the past. He ensured us the process would be simple and efficient and he produced. Despite dealing with two other customers at the same time he never left us unattended for more than a few minutes. It was the best buying experience we've ever had by far. I spoke to many dealerships when I started my search. The associate I spoke to ensured me that Sunset Ford web pricing was upfront and accurate, while some other dealerships are not. I took it with a grain of salt, but came to find out she was correct. This led me to visit the dealership where I worked with Don Calvin. Don was friendly, knowledgeable, and very prescriptive with his guidance and advice as I worked to determine which truck was right for me. The many many options can be overwhelming, but don and I worked to explore them until I knew we found the right one. Once I decided on a truck the rest was easy. Financing, trade in, and even scheduling to add some accessories were taken care of by Don and team quickly and without hassle. I will recommend sunset Ford and Don to anybody long for a new car or truck.

Went in looking for a used Ford Edge for my significant other. She was looking for certain things on her car. Jason greeted me and I explained what I was looking for. There was never any pressure that you get from other used dealerships. He explained he didn't have what I needed on the lot but he would see what he could do. I had not bought a brand new car before, only used, and the process was overwhelming to me. Other dealers in town had not done me right and were leaving me disillusioned. Casey was easy to deal with all along. He gave me his personal contact info and told me to call him when I was ready. I did so, and the car I wanted was the one he showed me. We were interested in purchasing a car from Sunset St. Louis and indeed did put a hold on one. We then submitted our thoughts on what the figures for car price, cash rebate and trade in value would be. We heard back from the salesman but only negative type comments and we never received any feedback on numbers from their side, in fact never heard back from them. We did not get a very good feeling about his knowledge of what Ford was offering. While this was going on we were also negotiating with a salesman in Marshfield, Mo. When it was determined that Don Vance Ford did not have the vehicle we were looking for he suggested a newer model and we had various communications about the vehicle via text, email and phone. Still never heard back from Sunset, they knew our timeframe. When we went back to Sunset to pickup our check the salesman was unhappy, which I understand, but when he finally determined that he was not going to get anywhere with us he parted ways with a very sarcastic and unprofessional crack.I would not recommend this dealers sales force to anyone.I would however highly recommend Don Vance Ford in Marshfield, Mo

Began our deal online; talking to Jim Wagstaff about a used Rav4. Came down to deal on a Saturday.Mr Wagsatff was very friendly and put us at ease immediately. But he was very busy yet concerned about our wait time so he suggested we deal with Mr Kieth Boerding. Mr Boerding was also very helpful and we were able to make a deal. The gentleman in the finance department also was very kind and helpful. Sorry I can remember his name. Everyone we dealt with was professional and kind.My only complaint; as I told Mr Boerding was the inside of the car was not real clean. He himself cleaned a few areas where something had been spilled and I appreciated that very much.

The 2013 Ford Escape was our first purchase from Sunset Ford at the Gravois location. A few weeks later we purchased a 2011 Edge from the Waterloo location. At first she wanted this really small car, I told Cory to pull around a different car she would love but it was bigger and I would knew if she got hit she would be safe, He did, she drove that car and said this is my car!! I have driven Fords my whole life due to my dad (Delbert Adams) retiring from Ford after 30 years. I've had a lemon (Taurus) but for the most part I can't complain about all the Fords I've driven. I've dealt with both Dave Sinclair and Sunset in the past and haven't had problems with either, until recently. I was driving a 2010 Ford Escape which I loved. Unfortunately I was in an accident and the vehicle was totaled. I decided to buy another Escape and ended up with a new 2016 model. First let me say I like the vehicle so far and don't have any complaints with the ride or functionality. However the vehicle I bought was in the showroom, which was not a big deal to me. My son noticed our salesman had to jump start the Escape to get it off the showroom floor. I didn't think much of it at the time as I know people are in and out, opening doors, turning things on, etc. while looking at it. This was on a Saturday. By Monday morning I had called Ford Roadside Assistance (which by the way are great to work with) to jump start my vehicle 3 times. I ended up taking it back on Monday and they said the battery was defective and they replaced it. Mike K. was the service person I dealt with and he was exceptional. Also, Jim who handles the rental cars was very helpful and professional. I was promised a free tank of gas by the showroom manager for the inconvenience but that never happened.Hopefully this was just an isolated incident and I want to reiterate I haven't had any issues with Sunset prior to this and will shop there again.

I needed a car ASAP! Had 1 day to get a car because my previous car would not pass safety & emissions. Howard Wood got it DONE! I filled out the finance application online. Told Mr. Wood what I was looking for and what I could afford. I stopped in after work, Mr. Howard Wood showed me the vehicle he picked out for me based on the criteria I gave him and explained to me 2 different buying options I had, I chose 1 and it was done. The only thing I had to do was sign the paperwork. This is the worst part usually, waiting around for finance. Mr. Wood kept me occupied by explaining in detail everything about the new vehicle I purchased and going over different scenarios that he has had previous customers ask about and go through. The wait was not long at all for finance and I drove away knowing how to use every bell and whistle on my new vehicle. A totally positive car buying experience at Sunset Ford! Finding the perfect car for our family was extremely important to me and Steve Lower made that happen. Steve took the time to listen to all of my family's needs and didn't stop until he found the perfect car. I was most impressed because he never asked us to change our " wish list" just to make a sale. After finding the perfect new 2016 Edge, Steve handed us over to Justin who had all our paperwork in order which made the total car buying process very seemless. Randy Ennis was my salesman. As this was my first car purchase in 16 years, he was very patient in answering all of my questions. He took the time to explain the warranties available and what was needed to to do as to not void the warranty (VERY IMPORTANT!). There were two Ford models I was considering, the Escape and the Fusion. We discussed pros and cons of each for my situation. I was leaning more towards the Escape, test drove it and loved it and I was sold. Randy gently insisted that I test drive the Fusion too.. I'm glad he did as I did not care for the Fusion as much as the Escape. Therefore, I won't be wondering if I made the wrong decision. In all, it was a great experience. Randy has a great personality and a cute southern twang!

I set up an appointment through Janet test drive a 2015 Mustang GT. Janet set me up with Sam and he quickly got the car available to drive. He was not pushy and explained the process to proceed if I decided I wanted to continue the purchase process. After bringing in my trade-in, Sam helped get the price I was looking for. He then brought me to Jason in finance. Jason was the easiest finance guy, I've ever dealt with. We wrapped up the process very fast and I was able to drive home in my new Mustang. I was in to get some work done on my 2012 Fusion SE and had Mindy Linn as my service advisor. I worked with her extensively on contacting the warranty company I had on my 2012 Fusion since they decided to be a huge thorn in my side. Mindy went out of her way numerous times to try and take care of my needs to take the burden of dealing with the company off of my shoulders (even stayed a little later a few times to get through to the company). Through that process I spoke with her about some of the cars on the lot and one specifically that I had been eyeing for a good amount of time. She referred me over to the sales department to see what I could find out while I waited for the repairs to be done on my car.As soon as I got into the main lobby of the sales center and started looking at some floor models I was greeted by Steve Lower. I told him the story of my current car and that I was motivated to purchase a car that day on the spot based on the situation. We talked for a few and I was able to head over to his office spot and hash out the details on the financial side of things. He explained stuff very well, made everything relatable and easy to understand with my trade-in and current deals/specials. I was able to see the difference in discounts and specials to pick what was best for my needs. He did not lie to me at any point and was the most upfront and easy going person I think I've ever dealt with when it comes to vehicle purchases. The test drive was effortless and despite the time at night he was able to get the vehicle cleaned up and gassed up for me to go once I finished all of the financial paperwork. Even after my purchase I've been able to call him and get what I need in a timely fashion. Steve was a very nice guy and assisted me perfectly!Justin Lombard assisted me with the financial side of things and outlined the warranty that was coming with the car and any additional options I had with that side of things. He was able to give me some great insight into the taxes on the car and what the trade-in will do with the taxes that I have to pay within the next month. Justin was very personable and friendly and a great person to have working the finances and the associated paperwork.

Jim W. Was my salesperson. From the very first phone call to handing over my new keys, Jim was an amazing person to deal with. He never once was pushy, nor did he try to influence me. He just let me drive the truck to see if it was right for me. A week later I called set up a time to come in, and if all went well buy the truck. I had visited multiple dealerships before coming to Sunset Ford in search of a SUV. I had not determined yet what make or model I was looking for, I just knew certain things I wanted in a car. After meeting with Sam Martin and telling him the qualities in a car I wanted we started looking. This was my first time buying a car on my own (husband was on vacation) and I felt no pressure at all while looking at the different vehicles. Sam was very knowledgeable. He was very patient with me as we test drove multiple vehicles and put vehicles side by side so that I could compare them all. It was not long before I fell in love with a Ford Escape Titanium. And before I knew it I was signing the papers. I've already told multiple people how great Sam and everyone else was at Sunset Ford. My 2000 Honda Civic was ready to be scrapped so I did some brief research online to browse some used inventories and found a fairly inexpensive SUV I've wanted for a long time. My partner and I decided to test drive the vehicle to see if we both liked it (he is 6'4" and I'm only 5'3") but when we arrived the SUV was being test driven in Waterloo. Still, Dan tried to show us other vehicles in our price range and we test drove them while the other SUV was in the back of my mind. After the test drives, we talked with Dan about our options and found out the vehicle we wanted wasn't bought and would be back within the hour. Of all the vehicles I've ever purchased in my life my first truck was my best buying experience. Keithmet us one evening , stayed later to show the vehicle and the next day we came in agreed to The terms. spent about an hour and then we came back to collect our freshly serviced F1 50 pick up. After a less than satisfactory buying experience, Sunset made a dedicated effort to address my concerns with the initial sales person and purchasing experience. They scheduled a follow up appointment to improve my satisfaction. It had been a long time since I last purchased a new vehicle and technology was a big part of my new truck. During the revisit, Sunset made sure I was coached through operation of this technology one on one with a great salesman. This salesman was respectful of my learning style and relative inexperience with new technology in a vehicle. (And he never " surfed the net" or checked his smart phone once during our appointment!)I was shown the service department and made aware of money saving service features like 1st oil change free and future notices that would arrive via email. I am impressed with the dedication to excellence this dealership displayed.

As I drove into town after a 4 hours drive from Chicago on a Friday afternoon, my power steering went out and I received a total of three malfunction alerts. After rudely being turned away by three Dave Sinclair dealerships - Lincoln/GMC/Ford - I desperately called Sunset Ford and spoke with Jen Hall who was a tremendous help and coupled with Mike Konorsmann, saved the day! I dropped my Ford vehicle off on Friday evening and it was ready for pick up the following afternoon, so I was able to leave town on Sunday morning as planned. After narrowing our search down to two different cars at two different dealerships we began the negotiations. I really enjoyed the experience that I had at his dealership. Keith helped me find the perfect car for me and was patient with me as I made my first adult purchase. I was able to get a car that I didn't even think that I wanted and I don't regret my decision. I went to the dealership thinking I was going to get one model of the Ford Escape but I ended up with a different model and I wouldn't go back. When I went and did the financing I told them that I wanted to go through a certain credit union and they obliged but when I went to go sign the paperwork I felt bullied into getting an additional warranty. I kept saying no and the finance man was pushing it and would not take that for an answer. Finally after about 5 to 10 minutes of me saying "I don't think it's necessary" he listened. If you know what kind of car you want and how much you're willing to pay go with Howard Wood at Sunset Ford. There was no hassling to be done and Howard made it the easiest and quickest process. I looked at an SUV on a Friday night explaining to him the numbers I was looking at and the very next day he matched them and I drove off the lot with my new SUV very ecstatic! I would highly recommend doing business with him.

I worked with salsman Dan Dopuch and financial manager Treff Laplant at Sunset Ford. Dan Dopuch was a no pressure salesman that seemed more interested in making sure I was satisfied with my decision then selling me a car. We test drove many cars and Dan was very helpful making sure we had everything we needed to make an informed decision. Once we decided on a car and negotiated a price I met Treff Laplant who helped me with the financing. Treff was very easy to work with and made the whole experience pleasant. He was very professional and took time to answer all of my many questions and explained everything to me and to my fullest satisfaction. I am very satisfied with the experience and recommend Sunset Ford to anyone looking to buy a car. Both gentlemen were very nice. I shopped around town and can say that the prices at Sunset Ford are fair and I that experienced no pressure at all at Sunset Ford. That was not true at many of the other lots I visited. I can honestly say that all the staff that I met were friendly and while everyone wanted to help me I did not feel like they wanted me to buy anything I was not going to be satisfied with. I will be back and plan to buy my next car at Sunset Ford and plan to tell everyone to visit them.

Purchased a New 2016 Ford Focus SE Hatchback on 5-21-16, Don was honest and upfront and not pushy in our decision in choosing between a New or Pre-Owned car, after careful consideration it was in our best interest to get a new car, was all clean and shiny and they even put a full tank of gas in it before we picked it up! Don also showed me how to sync my phone to the car and showed me how to use all the features inside and outside the car.June 22nd EditAfter owning this new car for 3 weeks and having 1600 miles on it, there was a gap in my rear quarter window, also my lcd screen for the center console displayed a black screen with colored lines along with sirius not available even though you get 6 months free upon purchasing a new ford, took 8 days to fix the car, they took the dash apart to replace the lcd screen and had to replace the window 3 times or so just to get it right, got a call a couple days ago stating that the window was installed incorrectly again and that they would need to redo it, also after picking up the car today, I noticed a small dent a couple inches from the window that they replaced, told the shop manager and she didn't seem concerned at all and even told me that the window guys don't have anything that would dent the car, she said come by next week and we'll take a look at it, absolutely ludicrous then when I sign off on my car the cashier tells me I got a free car wash for my trouble, I honestly don't know If I'm dreaming or what but I'm being completely honest in this review, have pictures of the car with the lcd screen being bad and the window gap, just feel like I wasn't treated like a valued customer even though I spent a little above 20 grand to get this new car, Disgusted.

Today I purchased a new 2016 Ford F-150 from Steve Lower at Sunset Ford. I had initially contacted Steve within the past week after stopping by to look at new trucks. I found a white F-150 with a front bench seat that was close to my needs after looking over the lot and was greeted by Steve when I walked in the door. Steve was friendly and professional. He looked over my selected vehicle, talked about it features and contrasted it with my original 1998 Ram 1500 4WD in terms of towing. He also talked through the features of the new truck. After we had talked a bit, he took the information on the truck I had seen on the lot to the manager and came back with a very good offer. I told him I was still doing my research and would be getting back with him. A day after my visit, Steve sent me an email thanking me for my visit, offering to answer any further questions I had, and telling me about Sunset Ford's Owner Advantage program. I also got an email that day from the Sales Manager, Larry Sidberry, thanking me for my interest in a Sunset Ford product and asking if they met my expectations for service. Two day ago, I got an email for the General Manager, Pete Heutel, also asking about the quality of the service I received from Sunset Ford. I replied to both managers letting them know I was happy with my interactions to date. I replied to Steve thanking him for his help and asking about vehicles in gray tones (silver or magnetic). I also asked him about a 6.5 foot bed on the super crew trucks. Steve initially replied telling me the 6.5 foot beds were limited and then called back a two days ago telling me he had three trucks (white, silver, and black) that met all of my needs: Super crew cab, 302A package, 3.5L ecoboost engine, and a 6.5 foot bed. I scheduled a visit for today and took a test drive of the silver F-150. My wife and I loved the ride and the room. The truck bed was perfect for the size I wanted to haul things. The tow package would take care of towing either an ATV trailer or a camper. We decided the silver F-150 was just what we wanted, so we returned after the test drive and told Steve we wanted to buy the truck and trade in my '98 dodge. The process went smoothly, with the financing being worked out within about half an hour by Justin Lombard. Within about an hour and a half after walking into Sunset Ford today, I drove out in a new truck that is exactly what we wanted at a price that was more than fair. Kudos to the staff at Sunset Ford and special thanks to Steve Lower.

I was aware of what I was looking for. I called ahead because I saw a particular car on the internet. When I arrived within a couple of minutes the car was available to test drive. Keith was very nice and not pushy. He has followed up with phone calls. Treff with financing was also helpful searched for a better interest rate and gave warranty options, also without pushing.

With it being my first time buying a car for myself,I was afraid when I went in I would be taken advantage of as a young woman. From the start, Sunset Ford was very prompt and courteous. I found vehicles online and was able to easily set up a time with Donna Gravagna to test drive them that same day. Dale Noakes was the salesperson that helped me out and he was very honest and helpful. He laid out the facts about the vehicles, but was not pushy. I appreciated his no-pressure attitude. I made a few visits to the dealership and called Dale each time and he was always eager to help. He had a great sense of each vehicle and remained in constant contact with me throughout the process. We looked on line and found used Ford Fusions that looked interesting. When we got to the lot we were afraid we would be dealing with a typical 'high pressure' sales pitch. Our experience couldn't have been farther from that. Dan Dopuch greeted us with a warm handshake and friendly smile. Since we had already researched the inventory we gave him stock numbers, he brought around the car, gave us the keys and sent us on our test drive. When we decided on the car the negotiation went smoothly and we were pleased with our deal. Several years ago we tried to buy a new Mustang from Sunset but were either ignored by the front room staff or not taken seriously on the lot which resulted in a purchase elsewhere. Had we been working with Dan Dopuch at that time we probably would bought there. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dan Dopuch for ANY vehicle purchase - new or used. This man knows his stuff and made our experience great (even in the rain). Don't close your deal till Sunset - but not till you've talked to Dan Dopuch!!

My wife had been looking for a used Escape for about a month. She wanted certain trim and accessories that made finding one difficult but not impossible. Sunset had 3 that fit her wishes. We arrived at the dealership around 4 they close at 6 on Tuesdays.. Our salesman Dan Dopuch was so helpful. Of course my wife couldn't make up her mind. Dan was really patient. Dan had a bday dinner planned with his wife. With the dealership closing at 6 it made buying one of them impossible before closing. In any event Dan sold us that car, cleaned it himself and made sure my wife was familiar with the controls. Saturday 4-15-16 my wife Amy dropped our Hyundai off for an oil change at Sunset Ford off Gravois in St. Louis. She saw Cory Pupillo, the salesman that sold us a new 2013 Escape 4-13 which we traded in 2 years later 4-15 for a used 2013 Explorer. Out of the blue she asked Cory to let her test drive a new F-150 while the Hyundai was getting the Works (BTW we really like their service team). Well, when Amy got home I was in the back yard doing some yard work and really busy. Amy said she brought a truck home from Sunset for a test drive. My immediate response was, to put it mildly, "heck no we are not buying a new truck". I checked that new truck out and told Amy I'll test drive it but we are not buying! Well once we got back to Sunset to pick up the Hyundai after the oil change I spoke with Cory. I said "why did you give my wife this particular truck to test drive?". It wasn't right, I really, really like the truck. BTW my wife was paying for the oil change while I was talking with Cory. I shot him a price where I would be happy with trade-in and all. Cory said "we can get real close to my number because they are running incentives this month on new trucks, let me see what we can do". Amy came back from service and said "what's up, you ready to go?" Cory came back just then with a price so close to what I was willing to pay I said "now you have my attention Cory". Amy was like really are you serious LOL.Well to make a long story short we bought the truck at a great price and I am so happy with it now. I used to have a 2008 F-150 which we traded in for the Escape 3 years ago and sort of regretted ever doing that.Cory Pupillo is a great salesman, Justin Lombard in finance is great to work with as is Larry Sidberry. I talked with Larry and he says "this is your 3rd vehicle you bought from Cory". I said "yeah and we only came in for an oil change on the Hyundai" Larry thought I was kidding. I told Larry I wouldn't have gotten the oil changed in the Hyundai if we were planning on trading it in, we just laughed.Lastly we were in and out with a new truck in 2 hours so the sales and finance teams are awesome. Service is always great and so is their body shop (they really know their stuff). Thanks Sunset Ford!!!

We found a Mustang convertible that interested us on the internet. Read the very positive reviews before calling. Called and asked they hold the car for us to examine until we got there. We arrived the next day as agreed. The car was well prepped as the site said, very clean car, and in very nice condition. The warranty given is great, the people were all very nice to deal with. I never enjoy car shopping or the games they like to play, however, this transaction was fairly straight forward. I ended up getting a good deal for my trade in, which made the whole deal good in my view. I really love the vehicle I got, and will keep it for a long time. Keith was professional and even though there was a mistake made, he was able to get the deal done. I certainly felt he had my best interest at heart in the deal. Justin was great with financing getting the deal done that day and working to make sure I got the same deal from them that I would have gotten from my own credit union. This saved me a couple of extra trips to the dealership and a few to my own credit union.

Buying a used car used to be one of the most stressful, annoying experiences you could put up with. Now with the amount of information about what's available where and at what price it an be a pretty painless undertaking. Sunset Ford seems to understand why a customer chooses to find a car through the internet. They worked with me on price before I even came in to see the car so I knew exactly what I was going to get and what I was going to pay for it. At that point it comes down to a test drive to see if you like it and a yes or no decision. Other dealers I was contacting wouldn't give me a firm price before I came in for the test drive so Sunset's approach was much appreciated.

Usually dread car shopping due to the pressure to buy, buy, buy, now. But Tim was patient and worked to match a competitors price. Dan was great salesman. He showed me the vehicle I was interested in right away and was even willing to have another vehicle brought from Waterloo over to South County if I wanted. He was not pushy at all like some sales people I have dealt with in the past at other dealerships. He was a very pleasant man to talk to, was forthright open and honest about the condition of the used vehicle I was looking at and he showed me every single work order that had been completed on the vehicle. I ended up buying this 2011 Ford Expedition for a good price and they did there best to meet my target monthly payment. They got very close. FYI... About 9 years ago I bought a brand new 2007 Ford Mustang GT from this dealership and I still have it. I went back to Sunset because of my great experience with that new vehicle. I feel like I can trust Sunset Ford to sell quality products.

This is the second used car my family has bought from Sunset Ford through Dan Dopuch in just a few years. When my car died suddenly a couple weeks ago, I was really left in a bind. After reading tons of ads and renting a car for day-to-day use the situation was turning into a nightmare. A search that was going slow and might take weeks. My folks suggested going to see Dan at Sunset as he quickly got them into exactly what they were looking for not too long ago. So now its the same with me as Dan helped me clarify what I really needed and wanted. For me, it is not just getting the car I "want", but its the real help in being introduced to other possibilities and sorting out what's best for me. I ended up buying a low mileage red Focus, which I really enjoy. It's beyond a dream come true; you cannot imagine a car purchase working out so well. The previous car I purchased was through a Bommarito dealership. The entire process felt forced and uncomfortable from test driving, look at other cars on the lot, to actually purchasing the car. Sunset was the opposite experience, I never felt pressured by the sales staff, they welcomed test driving the multiple options they have available, and the follow up after the initial visit I wasn't bombarded with follow-up calls on whether a decision had been made.

Randy Ennis was my sales person. I am a first time cat buyer and he made my experience less stressful. He was very nice to me and my mom. When we went for a test drive he was very informative about the Ford Escape. He even programmed my phone to the car. The best thing that Randy did on the test drive was explain all the features to my dad. My dad is a mail carrier in the area and Randy said that we should stop by on his route to show off the car. Randy has great customer service skills. I never felt like he was trying to hard sell me. He knew what I wanted and made it happen. I had some issues with the finance department quoting me rates I didn't want with products I didn't need. Randy got involved and smoothed it all over and got me the quote and rate I wanted. Keith was a pleasure to work with. I had picked out vehicle but it wasn't working out in my favor. Keith and Treff Laplant worked diligently to get a deal done. During the process Keith explained everything in detail with warranties and such. I went into the dealership and I was met right away by Steve Lower. I knew exactly what I was looking for, but as everyone who walks into a dealer skeptical that they would reach the level of customer service I expected. I was dreading the moment that the haggling for dollars and cents would start, and the pressure of a sale would begin. To my surprise I didn't feel the need to haggle, and I didn't feel pressured. I went to Sunset with a car in mind, and it was parked right by the building when I arrived. My salesman, Dan, was not pushy at all and was very helpful as I went through the process of buying my first car!!! I took a test drive around the area including onto the highway, and after giving me the keys he spent 15 minutes going over all of the technology in the vehicle. My second key arrived in the mail 3 days after my purchase. Thank you for the excellent experience and quality purchase. I look forward to doing business again with Sunset in the future!

Casey was just as committed to finding the right car at the right price as I was! He went above and beyond, going so far as personally picking up a vehicle from Waterloo for me to test drive. When he opened the car door for me he said he had a feeling this might be the one. I happily responded that I thought so too. The entire process was easy, stress and pressure free. I feel we got very good information and explanations throughout the process. Didn't hover when we needed discuss whether we would go forward. Made all possible financing options known prior to finalizing a deal. My only disappointment is that I feel my trade was undervalued. The rebate program they had helped close the gap enough to make the deal though.

We went to the dealership and met with salesman Tim Stewart who was very nice and answered all our questions. We test drove two different Ford Escapes and Tim went over everything about the difference in both cars. Tim was awesome to work with and was very patient with us while making our decision on the car. Tim did everything he could to get us a GREAT deal on the car. The financial service manager Jason made signing all the papers quick and easy and was great to work with as well.We are very happy with our new Ford Escape and going to Sunset Ford made it a very pleasant experience. Everyone at Sunset Ford were so nice and friendly. I would highly recommend to family and friends to go to Sunset Ford for their next car for a very pleasant, friendly experience.

again, liked this dealership I usually buy Subarus I think mostly because I had such a horrible experience trying to buy a VW beetle (VW has the WORST sales method) that I swore I would never let anyone treat me like that again. Deciding that the Subaru was no longer for me, and that the Flex was, I found the one model in town that I wanted. I called, got lots of information on the phone and no pressure. I think the price was fair and I didn't have to engage in a bunch of theatrics

I sent an inquiry via the internet to Sunset Ford on the purchase price for a new Ford Explorer. I received a reply back in less than half an hour. The price was considerably less than four other dealers where I had had already made inquiries. I then went to the dealership and met salesman Don Calvin who was very nice and answered all of my questions. He invited me to take a test drive, and the car was awesome. Their initial price quote was so fair, I didn't even try to get them to go lower on the auto. Don was awesome and fair to work with. Financial services manager Treff Laplant made signing all the paperwork a breeze. He also gave me a great quote on an extended service contract for the vehicle I just purchased. And if that wasn't enough, he gave me a great deal on a service contract for a 2014 Ford I had purchased for my granddaughter at another used car dealership. Don Calvin went over all the accessories on the car I bought explaining how all the high tech gadgets worked. I can not say enough good things about my experience at Sunset Ford. I am 64 years old and have bought many cars, but this was by far the most relaxing purchase I have ever made.

First of all, when I walked into the pre-owned office I was somewhat anxious about what the service would be like, whether the sales people would be over-exuberant and pushy and whether I would qualify for credit. The first person I met was Perry and he is one of the nicest, most laid back people I've met. But then he introduced me to Randy and my experience with him was like sitting in my living room talking with an old friend. The car I had come to look at had been sold. Randy and Perry told me what they had that I might like and today, at 1:00pm, I drove home a car I never thought I would be able to afford. Randy explained the car, a 2006 Mercury Marquis with just 69,000 miles, from top to bottom and side to side and demonstrated each action. By the time I left the lot, I was thoroughly familiar with every aspect of the car and comfortable in my confidence that Randy inspired. The whole experience was wonderful, Randy just happened to be a highlight. I will highly recommend Sunset Ford to my friends and family. A childhood friend was with me for the whole experience and she totally agrees.

My final salesperson was nice and communicated well for that he get's a well deserved A! I had a hiccup with my new Ford Focus Titanium needing items serviced literally the next day. However, that is neither on the sale or dealer side. 1). Vehicle has continental tires which caused vehicle to pull left going down the highway, 2). I had mysterious goo appear on the outside of the sunroof glass. 3). The 10 speaker Sony stereo system has full rich consistent subwoofer bass but seemingly really lacks in midrange, (percussion) and treble. Having said that it's my 2nd Focus!! Oh and I did not care for the dealer sticker on my paint they should ask customers if they want that beyond dealer named license plate frames. Professional, nice, comfortable! Clean environment alone is more inviting than Sinclair, just saying...

We came to sunset to shop for a used car as we had bought our last car at this dealership. We stopped into the service department to ask Mike Wilhite if he could steer us to someone who could help us out and as always he pointed us in the perfect direction to Jim. We explained what we were looking for and he took us right to the selection of cars that fit all our wants and needs. He was also very busy the day we stopped in and even though he was juggling several customers at once (including us) we never once felt we second on his list. Jim will always make you feel like his number one priority and let's be honest you don't get that these days!! From start to finish this was a very easy and pleasant car buying experience. We knew what we wanted and Keith fought hard for us to get a great deal even though we were upside down on our trade. We ended up with a payment where we wanted to be with a great warranty and he even got us more out of our trade to offset being upside down on value. Always was a GM person but no matter what brand I buy next, I will come see Keith first!! This is vehicle number two we have bought from him and he does not disappoint!! Treff Laplant was also an awesome Finance officer to work with. He worked with us to get the best financing option for us with an awesome rate! I have bought several new cars at Sunset Ford and on Saturday I thought I'd take a stroll down the aisles to see if you had any convertibles and instantly I saw on your used car lot a 2007 Ford Mustang GT and knew it was for me. Keith Boerding did an excellent job of finding a replacement vehicle for us. We had just experienced a very violent destructive house invasion and our car had been stolen from a locked garage and then crashed in a police pursuit. We looked on the internet and found Sunset to have the best selection of the vehicles that would suit our needs. We traveled 100 miles to check out the vehicles. He was not high pressure and gave us all the information we needed to get us back in a car. He made this part of our loss a positive experience..

I reviewed websites of seven different dealers looking for a good used truck. I made several trips to many of the Dealerships, including Sunset Ford. My wife and I were first-time car buyers looking for a used vehicle. Jim greeted us as soon as we walked in, and made us feel very welcome. He was extremely willing to work with us and help us find a vehicle that fit our needs and our budget. He even took time to drive to a different Sunset dealership and bring back a vehicle for us to test drive, and yet we never felt pressured to actually purchase the vehicle. My only complaint is that one of the financing guys kept trying to pressure us into extra warranties that we didn't want.

After narrowing our car search to two 2015 vehicles, the Ford Escape & the Toyota RAV4, we searched the Internet and found five or six dealers that had what we were looking for. We started at Sunset with the intention of then working our way back home as we checked the other dealers. We were met by Keith who brought over the car we were interested in, a 2015 Escape Titanium. Keith was very low pressure and answered all our questions. The car was what we wanted, the price was right and Keith guided us painlessly through the purchase. Needless to say, we avoided the drudgery of checking with multiple dealers and were glad Sunset gave us everything we wanted first thing.Jason presented us with the service contract and warranty information. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable. The whole process went smoothly and I would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I am very disappointed with the service i have received at Sunset Ford. I purchased my 2012 Ford Edge from thier used department in 2014. That was the last time ive had service the way it should be at a dealership. With my Edge i purchaed a 100,000 mile bumper to bumber warrenty. Unfortunately no car is perfect so i have been in numerous times for misc services. I can tell you this place certainly does not deserve a 5 star rating. Employees in the past have acted like i was an idiot when talking to them about issues with my car. They are lazy and take their sweet xxx time. I waited 2 hours to pick up my car after beeing called to come pick it up because it was done. Not to mention while i was waiting for my vehicle, one of the employees literally ran over an old man walking across the service department driveway and was taken to the hospital. Numourous times they told me that they couldnt fix things that were wrong. Seems like because i have a warrenty making most services free of charge that they avoid everything possible. I have delt with many of the employees and technitions there and only one i can say i respect and thats Ashely Matheis. Another prime example of their xxxxxx service would be when my suspension was making a clicking noise. I was supposed to ride with a technician in my vehicle so he could get a better understanding of what was happing. Well they paged him 4 times over a 45 min span and searched the building for him to find him no where. It was a joke. Once again this place is terrible and does not deserve 5 stars. Go do your business some place else.

We we're so happy to see such a large variety of trucks on your lot. We talked to a Randy in sales and he was so helpful in finding us the truck we wanted. Many times we would go to a dealership and feel so pressured but we did not feel that way here at sunset Ford on Lindbergh . Randy took the time to go over things in the car so we would basically know a few of the things right off the bat. With all the electronics they have now on these trucks he told us to feel free to call him or come back in with any questions we would get. I would highly recommend sunset Ford and Randy Ennis as your salesperson for a good experience and someone fair and easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. The person in finance where we got our extended warranty was also very helpful. He did not make us feel pressured and we were very happy with what they had to offer. My wife and I just had our first child and we were in search of a great car at an affordable price. When we stopped in at Sunset Ford I remember thinking ok here we go with the pushy salesmen, but it was total opposite. Sunset Ford gave me time to look at their cars and not be hounded by a million people. When I was ready, I found Dale (awesome guy by the way) and he got me setup with a test drive. I bought a used Truck from Sunset, and the entire Sunset Ford Team was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Dale was able to answer all my questions professionally and quickly. Occasionally Dale was unable to answer my question directly, but he always found the answer and got back to me in a timely manor. When I decided to come in and test drive the truck Dale was able to get it from the Waterloo location the same day! I've been involved in several car purchases the past few years and can honestly say I won't be going anywhere else in the future. Dale, Treff and Sunset Ford were able to make the process easy, they let me tell them what I was interested in and never pushed me to make a decision. This impressed me being a young women I expected to be treated differently than a male they were the complete opposite of that stereotype. I had a great experience at Sunset Ford. Mike G. helped me find a Ford Escape that was in very good condition at a fair price. Sunset Ford stood out from other dealerships because, throughout the whole process, I never felt pressured into buying the vehicle. For instance, after I took the Escape for a test drive, Mike G. asked me "What's the next step?" instead of trying to rush me into a purchase. I just have to say that Dale and the people at sunset made my first car buying experience easier and more enjoyable than I ever would have imagined or could have hoped. Dale was extremely helpful and very accommodating in allowing me to look at the car I got and take it on a couple test drives. He was honest and made sure I knew where I stood as far as my chances of getting the car were being a first time buyer. I also want to thank Treff Laplant for being extremely helpful with financing and walking me through everything. He was friendly and very thorough. I worked with Dan & Jim to upgrade my vehicle after 5 years and 250,000+ miles on my commuter car. I was indecisive and needed to make a good decision. Had a great experience here. Asked one time for the best price I could purchase the vehicle we were interested in and received a fair price. Felt that things were done professionally and quickly. Salesman was prompt with answering questions with little having inquiry with a manager or others. Felt good about the experience. Only negative was cleanliness of the exterior. Small black spots, seems like tar, are everywhere on the white vehicle we purchased. Hoping they will come off when weather allows me to hand wash the vehicle.

Wonderful buying experience! We had been looking at a few different cars and visited a couple of dealerships before going to Sunset Ford. Keith and the team made us feel very comfortable from the moment we walked in. This is the first time we've purchased a car where we didn't have a sick feeling in our stomach! Keith was very nice, informative and he didn't pressure us in the slightest. Once we got over to the finance side, Treff took his time to explain the different financing options and warranty packages available. He was very open about which packages he felt were worth our consideration and which ones would be waste of our money. We felt like he really was concerned with our best interest. Looking to buy a company car to replace a luxury gas hog was a challenge until Cory introduced me to the Ford Explorer Limited. Better Gas mileage? Check, Heated and cooled front seating? Check? Split HVAC controls plus rear Passenger control? Check! Fold and stow seating, front and rear cameras and distance sensing for parking and vehicle blind spots. Check, check, and double check and more. Cory knew the vehicle features that exceeded what I was expecting on the Ford Explorer. A salesman that let the vehicle sell itself. Nice concept to demonstrate all of the hands free amenities and setting menus to climate controls and entertainment choices. I finally got a buying experience I wanted. I knew this was going to be a better experience than I have had before when my salesman asked me what I was looking for and I told him "I don't know yet, I'll find you when I know" and he left me to wander on my own. I don't need a salesman in my ear when I have the internet in my pocket. That's how it went; I found the car I wanted, got back with him and bought a car. Yeah there was a little back and forth on some numbers but in the end I left with the car I wanted, and a deal I can defiantly live with. Over all fairly simple. It went better than I expected considering I started out working with someone from the internet sales team on a different vehicle and they were completely unresponsive to any correspondence at all. If your thinking about shopping at Sunset Ford, do yourself a favor and just go there.

Generally, I'm not one who enjoys the process of car shopping. But the folks at Sunset Ford, in particular Braden Bolerjack, guided me through the process and turned it into a good experience for me. They worked it out so that I got the car that I wanted AND in the color that I wanted. And after the sale was complete, Braden patiently educated me on all of the technology. I recently purchased a 2015 Focus from Sunset Ford - the third Focus in 11 years! I keep coming back to Sunset Ford because of the location, reliability and prices. I feel like I've been treated fairly all three times and Tim was no exception! Since we were there past closing, wrapping up paperwork, he took the time to make sure all the signage came off the windows and such since the service department was gone for the day. Justin was able to finish completion of the loan paperwork I started with my credit union and got me on my way that night! I always tell people to give Sunset Ford a try when shopping.

I was in Sunset Ford to look at a new Mustang. I dealt with Casey Fowler and he was hands down the best salesman I have ever dealt with in a dealership. The car I wanted wasn't on the lot so he was able to order one for a price I definitely couldn't argue with. As a bonus I had Brett in service put a spoiler on the car for me and Treff handled the finance. Everyone in sunset I dealt with was awesome and all worked like a well oiled machine. I recommend going to sunset ford and seeing Casey fowler in sales, for maintenance and service see Brett Mathis, and when you are ready to lock on a deal Treff is the guy to see.

Sent email asking for car availability, received a call in minutes, they called and left a voice mail before their advertised open time. By the time I arrived the car was right in front ready for the test drive. I wanted to take advantage of the black Friday sales events going on around town. I stopped at Sunset Ford on Sunday to look at their stock of a particular model that I was interested in. I found a vehicle that I really liked and discounts and rebates were available off the manufacturer"s suggested retail price. I further noticed on-line that additional black Friday discounts were available. I arrived at the dealership early Monday morning and was greeted by salesman Cory Pupillo. When Cory confirmed that all the discounts and rebates were available, I was elated. In the past, I have found that other dealerships have not always had what was advertised. We did most of our shopping online. We then contacted Sunset Ford about a vehicle that we were interested in. After contacting them we were able to make the deal. Once we were at the dealership everything went very smooth. I'm really enjoying my new vehicle. Thank you Jim and Sunset Ford!

The only reason I went to Sunset Ford was because of the way my daughter was treated, her salesman was Alex Choucri. Her experience was so great we decided to give it a try. We had been talking about buying a new car for a year but could never agree on with make or model. After talking to Alex and test driving an Explorer we were sold, I should say I was sold. My husband was not quite there. Alex talked about the value and he won Phil over. We are now the proud owners of a 2016 Ford Explorer.Thank you for the best experience in buying a car. But also thank you for treating our daughter with respect when she came in.

This was my first time buying a car from a dealership, and it is because I hate working with greasy used car salesman. Sunset Ford was, however, an easy, low stress experience. I felt no pressure, and there were no weird hidden fees. Randy made this process painless, and took care of meeting my needs. I got a great offer for my trade-in, and the best warranty I could imagine. I am very grateful for the services I received, and look forward to working with them in the future.

This was a low pressure buying experience. There were no frills, but I wasn't looking for them, I just wanted to get down to business. We did this in two trips due to having an infant with us. First we test drove, then we came back to close the deal. One area of opportunity is to expedite the finance and paperwork process, it took a little longer than I would have preferred.

As soon as I stepped out of my car, there was a person to assist me (no sales pressure or false enthusiasm). When I was led into the showroom, Tim Stewart overheard my name and immediately said my husband's name, telling me he had just e-mailed my husband! Imagine my amazement! He immediately arranged for me to test drive three vehicles I was interested in. Needless to say, he got the sale. He was very thorough, organized and professional. Very classy dealership. I was impressed.I had just visited a neighboring dealership which was chaotic. The other dealership kept me waiting a half hour while they "looked" for the cars they had advertised. They never found the cars, but told me "they were there somewhere." They let me walk out the door with no follow up.Sunset offered a great professional experience. I had no time to wait and they accomodated me well. I would highly recommend them.

I was completely new to the car buying experience being fresh out of college. It was a slow day being Tuesday, but it was still a very relaxed atmosphere. Steve was pretty chill and I felt absolutely no pressure. He helped explain things clearly and made sure I knew what I was getting. We looked at a few cars, got the keys, sat down, spoke and felt them out before I made my decision. The Sunset team even let me go through with the purchase having forgot my checkbook which I brought the next day. They're a good bunch of folks!

I'm 73 years old and an old Gear Head.I had been looking for a Street Rod or 5.0 Mustang for about 4 months.I had plenty of cash and was ready to buy.I saw Sunset Ford's ad on the net for 5.0 Mustang.My first thought was - God save me - I really don't want to hassle with a dealer. Shortly after I met Dan Dopuch and Perry Webb I was much more at ease.These weren't out to screw me - they truly had my interest at heart.I told Dan what I wanted and he began putting the deal together for me.I was impressed with heir sincerity and candid business manor.I am very pleased with the Mustang I bought.Dan was very helpful in getting me oriented with my new purchase.I would defiantly recommend these guys if your looking for a car - go to Sunset Ford - ask for Dan Dopuch.Thanks DanSare

My husband and I cannot believe the pleasant experience that we have had with Sunset Ford. Our son needed a new car and we had limited funds to work with and they made it happen. Our sales person Tim Stewart made our experience pleasant and stress free. Tim was very efficient and nice to work with..Treff Laplant in finance was so nice, non pushy but yet very informative on the warranty..It was a pleasure NOT to be hassled. Until last week with Sunset Ford's representative Alex, buying a car had been a stressful experience.Alex really picked a winning vehicle for me though I gave him very little information to work with. He was very professional, resourceful, and sets a fine example for sales representatives. Financing was so smooth! What a pleasant and efficient financial officer. Usually they are so scary, but not you guys! My daily traveling around St. Louis is a pleasure in my Escape- I look forward to the long hours of travel to visit family over the holidays....... I worked with Randy Ennis to purchase my 2013 Ford Edge and he was an amazing salesman! This was my first car I was purchasing on my own, and rather than try to push me into buying a vehicle that I wasn't in love with, he took the time to look for my exact wants at auction, and ordered me a vehicle customized to my every want. He made the process very easy and there was no pressure to upgrade to services and features I did not want. Great job!

We were greeted by Cory and told him we were trying to decide between a new/used explorer or another F150. We were impressed with his knowledge of both vehicles and felt very comfortable with him and he soon had us test driving several vehicles. We asked for a price on three different new F 150's that we narrowed down to and he discussed this with Jason and promptly gave the price to us. We still had trouble deciding whether to go with the xlt or the lariat so we said we would sleep on it and get back to them tomorrow. they both said they look forward to seeing us soon and we left. Well after deciding on the one we wanted my wife went up there the next afternoon and was informed the one we wanted was just sold.She then looked at the higher price one and got a very good price on that one from Jason.We decided we were going to get the higher price one and when i got home from work we went up there to purchase the truck.That's when the 100 year plus family dealership became a "buy here pay here" type dealership to me.After being invisible to them for a few minutes I asked Jason (who didnt seem to be too happy to see us returning) to page Cory for us, who came to us asking if I got his text he sent me which I did not .He then told me they gave us the wrong price and would need another $ 3,400.00 tp purchase the truck.That was the end of my experience with Sunset Ford.Like I said, it was a very good price so it sounded like Jason made a mistake in giving us the price because we were talking about several different trucks, different prices.Everybody makes mistakes, but its how you deal with them that makes the difference. anything from a simple sorry. I made a mistake on your price or going through with the price he gave my wife. If that would have been the case I'm sure we could have come to a solution that would have been good for both parties.

We were looking for our sons' 1st car, one that would take him through his college years...thought a small truck would work, Kieran guided us towards a vehicle which would better suit ALL of our sons' needs while in school. His knowledge of the Toyota 4cyl engine, reliability and safety convinced us (that) the 2010 RAV4 would be a perfect fit; we sent pictures to our son ( at district meet in Jackson, Mo.) and he and his buddies LOVED the selection. The is the 2nd vehicle I purchased from Sunset Ford. If you want a high pressure dealership that would rather sell you a car than try to help you, find a different dealership but if you want a professional and respectful dealership choose Sunset Ford. I test drove a Fusion with Braden and told him I would think about it and come back, he did not pressure me to "buy today". We exchanged emails the next day and met that afternoon, I took the Fusion on an extended test drive and decided to purchase. It was truly a no hassle experience. Jason the finance manager was also very respectful and didn't try to push me into something I didn't want. I recommend Sunset Ford if you are in the market for a new car or just want to start the process without someone pressuring you into buying a car.
