Things started off well. I inquired on line because I live out of state. I saw they deliver within 300 miles for free and market to out of state customers, since I received there Marketing material in PA. Everything went well until it was time to finalize the deal. I was told that they do not deliver when a trade was involved and I had to come in for an appraisal. Mind you they appraised my vehicle via pictures and description. Not at one time did they state this was there practice after I asked more than once about deliver, since I live out of state and unable to commute 300 miles. Of course the sales person I spoke to knew this information, since he appraised the vehicle. When I asked him why this information was not told to me prior to running my credit and getting payments, he flipped the story to say it’s because he wasn’t aware I had a co-buyer. Again this was a flat out lie, since I told him on two separate occasions. Do yourself a favor, if purchasing from them and live a long distance, stay away from this bait and switch Marketing they are providing. If you are local, they maybe a great dealer… But not for those who are a far distance.

Great service, until you sign and walk out the door. After a month and a half I’m still waiting for plates. My temp tags expired. After calling and speaking to the dealer, (salesperson has absolutely avoided all my calls) I was told to basically register the vehicle myself. Plenty of dealers out there. Skip this one.

Called in the morning to schedule an appointment for the vehicle, pleasant receptionist on the phone. I realized that we would be able to get there earlier than appointment, so gave a courtesy call to let them know I would be early. I live an hour an a half away. WHEN I GOT THERE, I WAS TOLD THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN SOLD. RIDICULOUS.

We've been looking for a Buick Enclave with all the right options and color. We found it at Sweeney Buick in Ohio. Only problems is we live in California. Worked with the best salesperson, Mr. Frank DiIanni. Even though we were out of state, Frank took care of us. I cannot say enough good things about Frank and the people at Sweeney. I have a 2011 Equinox and the other day it started stalling. It stalled 5 times before I was able to take it to Sweeney Chevrolet. When I got there, thank goodness it stalled for them too. They gave me a car to use while fixing mine. They found out what the problem was and fixed it that day. Called me to let me know it was ready and I picked it up the next morning. They are a first class dealer. I would recommend them to everyone. I would give them an 10 star rating if I could. THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!!! :O)

I called the dealership on my way to a business close by,the service representative gladly gave me an appointment for thirty minutes from the time I called. When I arrived and went inside the service department I was surprised at how clean everything was,they gladly took my keys,told me it would be done in forty-five minutes which it was probably a little sooner. My wife and I were leaving and we looked at each other and at the same time said 'I can't believe how friendly and polite every one was'. I asked that salesman not call me at my place of employment because I work in the intensive care unit at a hospital, and he did anyway. I am still waiting for my license plates and had to call myself today to find out they are there. The bed liner for my vehicle seems over priced. I don't appreciate that OnStar and Sirius will be calling me relentlessly when my free subscriptions are about to expire.The monthly payment was higher when we went to sign lease agreement.

I purchased a new Traverse from Sweeney today, and the entire process, handled by Frank DiIanni, was smooth, painless, and extremely customer friendly. There were no surprises, and the deal was a great deal. Once a Greenwood customer, I switched my loyalty to Sweeney because of their generous support to our school's Stadium Project. This dealership is in Boardman and they support our community. They give locally, and that generosity is rare. The facilities are spotless, bright, and comfortable. My salesman, Frank DiIanni, was entirely focused on providing me with personal, prompt, and friendly service throughout the process. He was completely flexible in his availability which is important when you don't have much free time to spend trying to complete the buying process. The car was exactly what I wanted, and I am completely satisfied with my experience. I would recommend this local dealership without hesitation to anyone looking to buy or lease. Ask for Frank!!

The service guys were great. Had me in and out. However, they checked my battery and said it was okay. The next week it went dead. Had AAA come and did a battery test and it was definitely below the ok limit and was replaced. Luckily it was parked in my garage. However, I was then late for work. Upset, yes, because it was checked a week earlier at your dealership. Also, I asked about my tires and they said the tires were okay. Yesterday, I could not stop at a light and almost hit the car in front of me. So now I am taking my car in to get new tires at another dealer. Upset, just a little. But, I still like your dealership in Boardman and will continue to get my oil changes there. I just have to be more careful with any other decisions on the auto.

I went to look at a 2016 Chevy Colorado. When I walked in, I met Brett. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He gave me a variety of options and helped me look for the right truck in my price range, but was never pushy. They gave me a good deal up front and offered me a fair amount for my trade. I had my truck's oil changed and tires rotated. While waiting, my wife was doing the paperwork for a new lease with Brett Barnhouse. Brett is great to deal with as we have many times in the past. I was looking for a Chevy Traverse & went on the internet & found a large selection of these vehicles at Sweeney's. I called & spoke with a salesman named David Tacsik & he was very nice & helpful. We set up a day for us to go up & see the vehicle I was interested in, he had it detailed & ready to go. My service adviser, Landon McElroy, was outstanding. He promptly greeted me upon arrival a few minutes before 7:00 am. Although I have only 75,000 miles on my vehicle, I requested the 100,000 mile service. Landon arranged for the courtesy transportation to take me home and later called to indicate which services were needed as well as the cost. Within a few hours my vehicle had all of the required services performed, washed and was ready for pick-up before 3:00 pm. I could not not be more pleased with the quality service provided by the Sweeney Chevrolet service department.

I am an USAF veteran and recently put on permanent disability. Between my now low income and mediocre credit score, i had doors slammed in my face. Oil change and tire rotation took about 1 hr and 45 minutes....but you were very busy. I get that. Upon returning home, noticed several oil spots on my driveway the next 2 days, depending on where the car was parked. I realized there is residual oil after a change, but this seemed a little more than normal. I think a little "cleaner" job is possible.

I would recommend this dealership for warranty or recall work. The scale for labor is too high to recommend for any other vehicle work however. It should not cost almost $30 to repair a flat tire or $40 for an oil change etc. Sure it is convenient but I can not in good faith overpay for services that can be done for half, elsewhere.

A service provided was not in conformity with what I requested. A rear windshield wiper was installed but was not the same as the factory one that was broken. I showed the service man the remaining parts from my original factory wiper but the installed wiper s not at all as attractive as the original one. But it does the work OK!!

I have been a GM buyer for all of my (short) adult life, I have always dealt with a sister dealership until my last purchase which left a bad taste in my mouth. I was looking to lease a new vehicle and was in the area so decided to stop by. First, the facilities are downright impressive, bright, clean, spacious, and welcoming. I was greeted by salesman Lisa Sefcik. We talked a bit, and got to know my wants and needs. She made it possible to drive a few cars until I found one that "fit". She knew I had a 2014 GM vehicle, and did not bother with the "add-on" sales too much, I already knew what services were available and did not need to listen to that for the duration of my test drives. She respected my wishes and did not pressure me to do a hard pull on credit until I was 100% certain. I decided on a vehicle, and had my trade in appraised. They obviously low balled me on the trade in, and Lisa actually seemingly had my best interests at heart and advised me to sell privately. After some respectful back and forth, we agreed on terms. The whole process was pleasent, and Lisa was great to talk to while the various "waiting" periods took place. I honestly have found a new dealership and salesperson, between myself, my wife, and father, we purchase a new vehicle every year, she earned my trust to the point I can in good faith send them to her and know they will be treated fairly.

This was my second oil change at Sweeney's for my 2013 Terrain and it was definitely a better experience than the first. There was a service advisor (Corey Sass) available to answer my questions, show me the waiting area and return upon completion of the work. The waiting area was very nice. (The first time I was in a small room much like a gas station waiting room.) A nice added touch was a clean Terrain. The price wasn't bad either. Good experience. Thanks!

Jenna and John were fantastic. My vehicle was serviced and ready for pickup earlier than promised. They made sure a loaner car was available to me. In fact, the brand new loaner was such a pleasure to drive that I went in the next day and purchased a new vehicle from Mitch Callahan in sales! My only suggestion would be to address the friendliness of the cashier. She seemed annoyed that she had to do her job. When I picked up my vehicle she was very short with me and barely looked up from her desk. It was not a great impression left after a wonderful experience.

I say its the Best Dealership Cause I'm not a person that buys a couple of new cars in a life time I have bought at least 37 new cars,trucks and motorcycles for myself and my family. I drove in to Sweeney's Youngstown/Boardman Ohio with no intention of buying a 2015 camaro SS 2SS but I have been shopping around from dealer to dealer and even on line. After I pulled into the lot I seen the the exact Camaro I was shopping for. I was greeted at the door with kindness and was introduced to MITCH CALLAHAN my sales person what a Great Salesman , he was very easy going,no pressure kind of guy, he did whatever it took to make me happy, he meet my demands and then it was a done deal. Its not too often after you make a deal that you see your sales person again but MITCH CALLAHAN stayed with me to the end and he even helped me load the Camaro on to my trailer. The sales manager came out and shook my hand after words which I thought was very noble of him. I drove 65 miles to Sweeney Chevrolet and glad I did, I will tell my family and friends to buy from SWEENEY CHEVROLET.

The initial call was taken by a female who seemed enjoyed because when I asked force the service department I didn't tell her that I needed the Chevrolet side. At my home there is one service department for a makes. I felt she could have been friendlier about it. The Chevrolet service department was very polite and took care of things. I was from out of state attending a funeral, my truck was having problems, and it was at the beginning of a holiday weekend. It helps to be treated properly when things are going south. The truck took a bit long to get back (7AM to after 5PM), but I was in a bind and appreciate getting it fixed.

I was going in thinking of buying a new car, but my salesman Daryl Plant talked me into leasing. I was pleased with my recent service from making the appointment to checkout. The appointment secretary worked around my schedule, check in was fast - important since it was before I had to go to work, the courtesy shuttle drivers were on time and friendly, and, when it was time to check out, the clerk called the service manager so that he could clearly explain the work that was done on my car.

I had no intentions of buying a car that day but I leased a 2015 Chevy Malibu. I was under the impression that when you brought your car in for service after the service the car was washed. My car was not cleaned. Am I wrong? When I purchased my previous vehicle from Mitsubishi it was cleaned after every service call.

Personnel are very courteous. Wait times for estimates or service completion was too long, especially with an appointment. I was offered a ride home upon arrival at the dealership, however, I waited three hours for the ride. Being picked up from home to retrieve my vehicle was a nice touch but that wait time was close to two hours. Overall not a bad experience but waiting times need to be addressed.

He was professional, took the time to immediately understand my needs and limitations. I explained how important time was to me and my family due to have an infant and both full times jobs. Mitch grabbed the bull by the horns and was diligent in getting me the information that was pertinent to me and ultimately helped close the deal. John Partain was our salesman. He was so efficient and was very straight forward when it came to us. We had a 2014 Equinox that we were leasing and really wanted to go into a Terrain. He went above and beyond what we expected. We had a long time left on our lease and did not think that it was going to even be possible to get into a new Terrain around the same payment. We spoke to Lisa and she recommended that we come in and talk to John and see what he thinks. After all was said and done, we got the Terrain and the payment is way better than we expected it to be. The professionalism of the dealership and the way that they talked to us and dealt with us was outstanding. I will continue to give Sweeney my business. They are so friendly and actually care to hear what I want and need instead of trying to get me to go another direction. I appreciate each of the people that I have dealt with there each time I get a new vehicle.

We were looking for a car with great gas mileage, great in the snow, and that meet our budget. John Partain was a huge help in finding us a car that met that criteria and that we loved. He went out of his way by talking with us on his day off, staying late to show us cars and discuss options, and was overall the best car salesman we have ever dealt with. Signing the paperwork was fun and easy with Mike Moore and he made sure we understood everything before leaving. Once we got the car, Linda Gabrick was very thorough in showing us every detail of the car and how everything worked. It was such a huge help to not have to read through the manual to figure out how to work everything! Overall, Sweeney is the best dealership to purchase a car through. All employees were extremely nice and helpful, the buying process was smooth, and they have a huge selection of cars to make sure you get what you want!

I have to say that my experience at Sweeney was far above my expectations! I place buying a car right below going to the dentist. Well, to my surprise at Sweeney Chevrolet changed my opinion! My sales person was Brett Barnhouse (what a great guy), I needed a car and I shopped around at all the major dealers in the area. I don't want to name the dealers but I was not a happy camper(denist was looking good)! I stopped at Sweeney to take a look/chance and the treatment was so relaxed and respectful. Brett was able to take the time and listen to all my needs/wants and worked to make my dream possible! I met the general manager and sales manager and wow what stand up guys they are. The whole staff gave me confidence that I was in the right place! Bottom line I would never go anywhere else to purchase a car, in fact my daughter needed a car and a week after I got my car we went and got her one. I can see buying one car and being lucky to receive good treatment but two and both times they far exceeded "all" my expectations! Thanks Sweeney..... Brett, Anthony and Bob!!!

Just purchased a brand new GMC Yukon XL Denali!! What a great vehicle! It has a super ride, super steering, and comfort too. Our salesman, Mitch Callahan, found the vehicle we were looking for down to the color! We needed a specific list of options and we had a monthly cost cap. Mitch was able to work the deal so that we got what we wanted and could afford it too. This experience was one of the best we have had at a dealership. The purchase was easy - all the paperwork was completed (and correct!) and only needed signatures when the vehicle was delivered. Was given a car that needed a lot of work done to it. Sales rep did not give me a choice of cars. Pretty much decided what car I was gonna get. I would not reccomend the sales rep I had.

I've back for the second time buying from Sweeney's. The salesman, (Bill Bross), is staying in contact with me to make sure I'm satisfied. The service department does what is needed and tells me what I can expect. I;ve stopped using other auto care places, because I trust Sweeney's. The service is done right the 1st time and on time.

I told them what I needed, and they found something for me. I told them the monthly payment was about 50.00 more then I wanted to pay, and that I would check some other dealers, amazingly he walked to a nearby office and came right back out and said he had made a mistake, and they could meet my monthly rate, without changing anything. I was lied to about engine size, incentives weren't offered that I later found out about. when signing paperwork, it was more or less rushed through, one form had a handwritten "nothing" on it, and I was told this was just saying that I left "nothing" in my trade in. But when I got home I actually got to read it, and it was a form stating that I understood all about the transaction. David Tacsik pulled the wool over my eyes, and I will make sure others know to steer clear of this dealership. I thought Sweenys was a reputable dealer, but should have stuck with Greenwoods. "

I had the pleasure of working with Frank DiIanni at Sweeney Chevrolet in Boardman this evening. He was without a doubt the best salesperson that I've ever worked with. Frank was very personable and helped answer all of the questions that my wife and I could come up with. He even was playing and interacting with my kids while we looked at some of the cars on their lot. I went to Sweeney Chevrolet Buick in Boardman,Ohio to try and get a vehicle for my wife and son.I dealt with Mitch Callahan,who greeted me on time at the entrance.He is a good,down to earth guy who hustled and got me out of there in a very nice Ford Escape in less than two hours.I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for great people,environment and service.

I recently purchased my 2014 Buick Verano from Sweeney Buick GMC, my salesman was Tommy Jones. I had walked in to buy an equinox realizing we really wanted a bigger vehicle. Mitch Callahan got us into a Chevy Traverse for a great price, saving us money from our last car payment, and even around the same price as the equinox. My only complaint was not Mitch's fault but that of another salesman taking the car that my husband and I were going to buy (that Mitch had already taken one of the sets of keys for and had vin written on our paperwork ready to go), out of the showroom to test drive for another family, AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN BUY IT. If it had not been for that I wouldn't have ran into the few problems with the crappy detailing (new guy of course) and the drivers side car door being banged against the wall leaving of course three spots that need fixed up ( the car on the floor was ready to go and detailing wouldn't have needed done so I would have avoided these problems). But Parker and Mitch Callahan were there to save the day and have fixed those problems for me! I would definitely go back to Mitch to buy another car!!

I just bought a 2010 Traverse here. I drove to Youngstown from the south hills of Pittsburgh. I had researched all the traverses in the area and Sweeney had a couple of options and a competitive price. Bill Bross took good care of me throughout the process. I got my traverse for more than $1000 less than any Pittsburgh dealer for a similar model year! And the actual final signing process was incredibly quick. I had expected to be in Youngstown the entire day, but was in and out in under an hour!

My daughter and I went to 4 dealers. Some of them were extremely pushy and wanted her to sign on the dotted line! She said no...she needs to think. Then they send out their manager who wanted to know what they could do to get her to sign that day. She again said nothing. This is not how we were treated by Frank at Sweeneys. He was extremely professional, had a sense of humor which was a nice touch, and was NOT pushy. My daughter actually was going to purchase a car from Frank just because he was so nice....even though she did not like the car. Frank treated my husband and I very well. I was extremely happy with our decision to purchase a car from Sweeney. We will come back there in the future and will recommend Frank to our friends. Keep up the good work!
