I met Chad Hamlin at my job. He had taken his daughter to chuck e cheese and started a conversation with me letting me know he could get me a great deal in a new car . I met with him as agreed we were there 8 hours but Chad made it easy for me and he fought for me . I'm very excited to have bought the nicest and newest car I ever had and with my credit lol. I actually didn't intend to buy a car when I came in, I just wanted to set up an appt. to have my 2014 Hundai serviced. Josh Kleinert approached and struck up a conversation. There was no pressure at all about buying a car but I said that I admired the 2017 Sante Fe that we we're standing near, and described the features,and told me that it could be mine if I wanted it. He made that happen, and I am very grateful.

To start off the dealership is beautiful, everything seems fantastic on the exterior!I'll leave you to determine whether you feel comfortable taking your vehicle to this location. I took my car here to get an oil change on Monday August 1st 2016 (today is September 12th and I still haven't seen any resolution to my issue. To shorten this review I will consolidate what happened:-Took my car to get an oil change.-They made a mistake. -My oil plug was not properly tightened. -The oil plug came off while I was driving on the highway.-Lost all the oil from my car and my car was thickly covered with oil.-Stranded on the side of the road on vacation.-Tom Brown the service manager thinks that it the situation they placed me in was funny and laughed on the phone saying that "they are not liable for damage to my vehicle."Blew off calls and voicemails for several weeks.Refused to do anything other than the promises of a check I have not received for over a month, and to be completely honest do not expect to receive.If they are not liable for any mistakes they make to your vehicle do you feel comfortable getting your vehicle serviced here? I would really hate to see this small mistake happen again to another person and have them not get off the highway or road in time, loose oil and get in a serious accident.

This review is for Taylor Hyundai in Toledo, not the Perrysburg location. I scheduled a test drive for an Elantra at the Taylor Hyundai in Toledo. I specifically was told by the salesperson Chad Klutter that the car was at the Toledo location. I emailed Tami the next day to confirm my appointment and again asked about the location of the Elantra and was told it was at the Toledo dealership. I confirmed my appointment by phone and was told by Angel that the car was at the Toledo dealership. When I arrived for my test drive, Chad told me the car was at the Perrysburg location. When I told him he had not been honest, nor had the other two employees, he responded that he had to do what the bosses told him to do. Taylor Hyundai lost my business!

I have bought two cars from Taylor. Every service person and salesman has gone out of the was to make sure I was taken care of. The wait time is long but I secured my own financing and knew which car I wanted. I bought a Tucson in 2014 it was certified used after I had it serviced they said I would need new tires. I spoke with the dealership and the replaced the tires with no hassle. I just upgraded to a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe and I love it! I would definitely by another car from Taylor.

We had a great experience at Taylor Hyundai for the second time. This is my second car that i have bought from this dealer and i have been happy both times. Our sales person, Chad Hamblin, was great and worked hard to help find a car that met our needs. The only complaint i had was waiting for the financial guy to go over the loan paperwork. I am not sure if he was with an another customer or if he was just not able to be found. I did realize later that there was a guy riding on a hoover board the whole time we were there and he was one of the financial officers - i am not sure why he couldn't help us instead of making us wait. Needless to say, we sat there for 30 to 45 minutes waiting. Don't get me wrong, i would come back and buy a car here again and this dealership is great, i just think the financial area may want to be a little more on top of their game.

But this experience was quite the opposite. We arrived at taylor Hyundai of perrysburg friday with the idea of what good used cars were there.when we arrived , we were politely greeted by James Leasure. We were asked just one question at first. "What brings you in today". Talk about No Pressure. Easy to talk to. And like always, we said, it would be nice to have a newer car. And James told us that with whatever we decide to do, he thanked us for coming out to check them out. He told us about the extended sales event and that if we wanted to, he could run a few things by us. We did. And after little while we were test driving Brand New Cars. And as a added Bonus we met Steve Taylor. What a nice guy . Down to earth friendly and took the time to speak to us one on one. Love the people there. Well at the end of our test drives we had offers and made our decison. James leasure had everything ready to go and we were on our way home with a New Hyundai Accent Sport. James really treated us like family. We will definitely be going back there when we are ready to get another car. Hopefully we will get the pleasure of having James Leasure be our salesman. And he even offered to take us out for lunch or dinner when we stop back. What a great addition to our family, Dependable new car and a great salesman that we can depend on for any of our car needs..and the price was a steal. We got such a great deal. I helped my father return his Hyundai Azera to Taylor Hyundai Service department in Perrysburg, Ohio due to an electrical problem which occasionally drained the battery. We worked with Chris Fiscus the Service Advisor to address the problem. The car had been in for the same problem previously and a couple of suspected issues were addressed and my father took the car home. The dead battery problem resurfaced so back we went to the service department. Chris asked if he could keep the car for several days to make sure they found the problem and ensure there were no further complications. We said yes and a week later we learned that the car was fixed and the battery was no longer being drained. Thank you Chris and the service department for fixing the problem and for restoring our confidence in your dealership This turned out to be a very positive experience.

I wished to replace my 2012 Elantra with the new 2017 model. I was immediately greeted at the door by James Leasure who ultimately sold me my new car. Mr. Leasure was extremely freindly and helpful. He was very low-key. I never felt pressured into purchasing a car. This is the third car I have bought from this dealership since they opened. This was by far the best buying experience of the three. In fact, the previous purchases were not pleasant at all. Also, Diane Williams is an old friend of mine. She helped me feel very comfortable during the buying process. She sat with me and made me feel very much at home. I also was impressed by the speed in which the car was readied for me. I believe it took less than one hour from the time I made the decision to buy the car until I drove it off the lot. (It was a cash sale, with a trade-in). Mr Leasure did all he could to get me the best price on this brand new model. He also offered to pay for my first oil change....a very nice touch.

James Leasure was awesome from start to finish. He brought out multiple cars for me to test drive so I could get an idea of what I wanted without having to go to multiple dealerships. He was also able to get me a better deal than I imagined possible on the vehicle I ended up buying. Found the car I wanted on-line sent an inquiry through their website and waited 3 days for a response. When they finally responded, the person who called me couldn't answer any of my questions. So, I left my number to have another person call me back. When that person called, they didn't have any information on the car that I wanted. I told them again which car it was and they couldn't even tell me the price. He was very rude and obviously didn't want to make the sale. I wouldn't waste my time going to the dealership with the poor quality service I got over the phone.

I have already posted my displeasure with the dealership, but a call I received yesterday prompts another . . . I received a call from the service department to schedule my free first oil change. Sounds great, right? Well the oil needed change within a month of purchase which we did and NO ONE explained that there was such an offer in the first place!Communication is quite poor between the dealership and their customers. If you want to have a dealership do what is convenient and best for them regardless of the impact to you, the customer -- then shop here . . . otherwise keep looking elsewhere -- you will be happier and better off financially!

I was going to buy a 2nd vehicle the following Monday, but backed out after seeing the two optional charges listed on the contract for the Taylor Paint and Fabric protection and the theft emblem on the window. After my GMC truck let me down sooner than hoped or expected, I started looking for a good used Sonata. While looking over stock and prices on Taylor and Hyundai website it crossed my mind to buy a new Elantra for about the same price, plus I knew it would get a little better gas mileage. I have gotten up to 43.3 mpg with the Sonata. James brought this up also. I am glad, I am driving a 2016, 3 years newer than I was thinking I could aford, and no miles on it with a full warranty! I am very satisfied.

We leave a 2015 lease and it shuts off all the time while driving it. We took it to the service department and they said it never happened to them in hour they looked at it. It didn't happen to them so they sent us on our way. So WHEN my 22year oo (who drives it) gets in an accident, I will be suing Steve Taylor, the service department and Hyundai.

The sales person I encountered was extremely helpful, but beyond that the experience was a nightmare. They can be incredibly pushy and the atmosphere is a little dysfunctional. I had an appointment at Taylor Kia in Perrysburg to test drive a used 2011 Chevy Malibu on a Friday at 10:15am. I received a call that morning to verify that I was still coming. When I arrived they informed me that the car had already been sold! I am fine with the car being sold, I understand that but why was I not informed that the car was gone and save me the drive!

We are an older couple and the salesman Chris scammed us with the double down payment. We had a leave car to turn in with a few payments left and we will told that Taylor would pay of the remaining payments and give us the price of the new car. After them playing the game of asking the sales manager for a lower payment scribble on a sheet of paper we came to an agreement. My wife and myself was under the assumption that the leased car was going to be payed off, should have read the fine print, my fought. So I sucked it up and was told by Chris the payoff was $1600.00. When I was to return the car to the lease company to my surprise the leased car payoff was $2700.00 that you for the lie Chris and Taylor. This guy will do anything to sell a car he is a lair and a thief. I trusted him and the dealership to supply me with the right info on the leased car. Thank you Chris and Taylor for the lies.RJS

This place is terrible..after driving off the lot i noticed alot of problems, so i called them and they were closed so the next day i called and showed up at the store..brandon wasnt available neither was anyone and this continued..me making repeated visits and phone calls well over a month..why because they knew the van they sold me needed repairs so they ignored me until the warranty was up because they would lose their commission after the 30 days they were willing to call me back only because the warrranty was expired..but refuse to take care of the repairs..they are scammers

Well I took my 2000 tiburon for transmission shift problems . I am a mechanic but had no soft ware for transmission . I had replaced the pulse generators because of acode PO722 .So later that day they had called me to tell me that I. had a code Po722 bad pulse generators. I had exsplained to the mech anic I had all ready replaced them . Then he tells me that I can not use nothing but Hyundai parts or they will not work . Ok I've seem this happen be for being a mechanic so Itold him to go ahead and replace them.. So it took aweek to get my car back . they said the codes have cleared .but my transmission is junk. and for $1600 they could install a rebuilt transmission .they said I had a junk yard thansmission in it. I had told Robert that the marks on the transmission were when it was rebuilt. He tells me that nobody but the factory could rebuid the transmission. . Seems like I got screwed by my transmission shop so I thought. I go and pick up the car drive it home . and find I had the same code in it that I had when I took it.there .So I had paid $423.87 . to have the same problem. so i take it apart to find that they installed the pulse generators wrong. so I put them in right and my transmission worked fine . I called the service writer (Robert Ayers) after telling him what I found and I should get a prtial refund for work that was done wrong . well he said he would talk to manager.because that was a flux copasitor to him . well to make a long story short I never heard back from them .NO REFUND.So if you take your car to Taylor Hyundai get a 2nd opinion.they will screw you if you let them.

Friendly staff. Outragously HIGH PRICES for service! $180 labor to install a $35 part. Problem with ignition key. NOT RESOLVED! Must make another trip to TRY to correct problem. Problem with passenger airbag, recall issue. Took THREE TRIPS to finally get that problem resolved. I am reluctant to rely on this service department but must as this is the ONLY Hyundai dealership within reasonable driving distance.

I am partly to blame for my poor experience as my transaction involved the trade-in of my vehicle, something I've not done before. The total value of my trade-in was not made fully clear until I was in with the finance manager and then it was communicated to me in passing while signing 20+ documents. During negotiations with the new car manager, he kept referencing a quote sheet that said TRADE (written in all caps) plus cash back (written numerically). I asked a couple of times for the total of those 2 figures (what I was getting for my car in total...blue book of $11-12k) and never got a straight answer or was redirected to some other facet of the negotiations (what payment I could afford, etc). The initial offer was TRADE with $5000 cash back...again the dollar value of the "TRADE" was not addressed directly. I declined and said $8000 cash back (assuming the TRADE plus this cash would equal in the neighborhood of the value of my trade...again, I've not traded-in before). The deal gets done and while signing and only after I asked what the "TRADE" value was did I learn that it was $500; in other words, a combined value of $8500 for my car. Frankly, it didn't register with me until the next day (as I reviewed numbers) that I had just "given" my car away for $3-$4K less than it was worth (and was originally offered $5500 for the TRADE plus cash)! I know used cars are a profit center for dealers, but come on. Had someone simply said..."you know, you'd probably get closer to what you want for your car if you sold it yourself" OR if the total value I was getting for my car had been addressed with clarity, this dealer would likely have a customer for life. Instead, it seems a "buyer beware" mentality exists and will keep me away in the future. Note: after calling the dealership to address this issue, I was told I could not back out of the contract for the new car but I could "back my trade out of the deal", get my vehicle back and attempt to sell it myself, which I am doing. I am happy with the new vehicle but very disappointed with the lack of clarity surrounding the trade-in valuation tactics used at this dealership.

Went in for oil change & check out my headlight why I was getting moister in my lightfound out the gasket was bad, so they had to replace the whole headlight. They gave me the oil change plus rotated my tires and gave a car wash at a good price.

Only one Problem. I had a problem with my GPS and they said they would try a reset first. Well it fixed the backup Camera but now my GPS does not work at all. They are looking into it. If I would ahve know this would have happen I would have just left it. Hopefully they get and answer fast. I miss my GPS.

Trevor was very friendly and helpful explaining everything about the car. He got us a sunroof without having to buy all the other things in a package we did not want to pay for. He got us a good price. When he said he would do something he did it when he said he would. For instance, he signed us up for Blue Link when we picked the car up after the sunroof was installed instead of when we paid for the car so we would not be using up our free trial period while the car sat at the dealership and moonroof installation center. Trevor could not have done more to make the experience better. The car was delivered in A-1 shape with a full tank of gas clean and everything in its place.

This appointment was for recall work on side-curtain airbags for a 2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. I was surprised when I found out the work wasn't done at the dealership (it was subbed out - I should have been told beforehand in my opinion). Then, when there was a problem with the repair...It took some convincing of the Hyundai repair staff that there actually was a problem. They were able to fix the problem in the end (thank goodness). Also, when I received the vehicle back, the steering wheel has small tears in the fabric on it now...it looks like it got damaged when the air-bag came out. It isn't a huge deal, and the dealership says if it 'delaminates', that they will fix it under the warranty. Overall, just a little frustrating of an experience, but I will go back to the dealer for future repairs.

We were wanting a car with good gas mileage. Pat Jr. suggested the Elantra as a very fuel efficient solution. He showed us the advantages of the car and let us decide for ourselves. There was no pressure to purchase, yet every effort was given to help us in our process by answering our needs. My wife wanted another color for the car and Pat arranged a transfer with another dealer. Mark, (Business Manager), found us a better finance arrangement than we had with our local bank. Plus, the waiting area is great - tv, wi-fi, coffee, cookies, etc. I will go back if/when I need more service.

Service was good,just wasn't pleased with my free car wash.It was not washed well they offered to re-do but I had to get to work.I just think people should give 100% from the begining.To me it's like they knew it was a free car wash so,they did a second hand job.That's just my opinion. Thanks for letting me vent.

We came to Hyundai to look at cars and met Moubine - then my daughter bought her car from Moubine and she loves her 2008 Elantra - then I bought 2012 accent from Moubine and we (well me son) loves the car - and as I told Moubine I will be back some day to buy my car Santa Fe - Moubine was very patient answered our questions answered my phone calls and I have been telling people to see Moubine at Hyundai - you are very blessed to have him on your staff. Trevor was a very good salesman. Took care of us very well and found us the best deal he could. He even sweetened the deal by offering car washes and a vacuum once a month. He is going to be a great salesman for your company not pushy or overwhelming at all.

Brought my Elantra in for it's first oil change. Phil did a was great. They put on my new license plates, reconnected my to the blue tooth, and did a great job washing my car.

Everyone at the dealership, from sales to service are always willing and able to get answers for me. Like I always forget how to work the coffee pot in the lobby. I can ask anyone up front how to do it and they will show me then do it for me. The Harrigan family are very personable. I enjoyed working with them. I've already refered a friend who is looking into getting a new car to go to Taylor and ask for any of the Harrigan's.

would have given all 5 stars but didn't b/c we had just gotten breaks repaired & had rooters resurfaced to have to come back in 6 mos to have the rooters replaced. which probably cost us more money in the long run. but we do really appreciate the discounts you gave us. thanks a lot

When I picked up the car it made more noise than when it was dropped off by the tow company. A few days later it would not start again and I had to have it towed back in. James told me that the starter they had put in initially was bad and that was what was making the noise. Since the new starter has been put in the car so far I have not had any problems.

Paying extra for the Platinum Card allows 2 times/month car wash and vacuum. The Birthday Mini-Detail should include way more than just adding washed windows and wiping the area under the window to that! We asked the service man in charge take the car back in when it was finished to get crumbs and dirt located on the sides of the front seats and the also got the crumb that was on the back seat. He agreed it wasn't up to par. He also had them wipe the cup holder area in the front between the seats which wasn't included in the birthday detailing. (His costumer service was great!) I think this and wiping the doors down on the inside should also be included OR just give a super nice detailing at least once a year for the birthday detail. I think costumers would be overjoyed if this was the service done.You would have nicer cars at the end of the leases!Sincerely,Mike Nowowiejski

Went to Taylor to look at Accent as a possible trade in. Looking at the cars on the lot ran accross the new 2012 Veloster.A few days later I'm at the dealership and Brandon worked out a deal that got me the best deal and most money for my trade-in, and the next day I'm driving out with my " NEW " 2012 Veloster.Service Department is great and have never been keep out of the loop on and issue with my car.They keep me updated and if I run across something I call them and they check if need,it gets done.Buying my next car there when I wife gets her new one here in th next 18 months or so and would highly recommend this Dealership to anyone.Jamie Loboschefski2012 Ironman Silver Veloster.

I love my Hyundai Santa Fe and the service department is wonderful. After two years, I still take my vehicle there to be serviced. They have the best service technicians and sometimes I get deals and coupons. More over, they have all my service records in their computer system and always remind me when I need something done. My car gets washed every time I visit. There is a television and a computer to utilize while I wait and it never takes longer to service my car than they tell me. The free cookies and popcorn are always a plus, unless you are dieting of course. I cannot say enough about MY Hyundai dealer and service department. Thank you Taylor Hyundai!!!

Owned a 2006 Sonata, put 282,000 miles on it,vey few problems. For the past 4 months I have been looking for a new or used car. I looked at 8 other car brands. During this process I kept comming back to Taylor,maybe 4-5 times. Shayne, Taylor Sales Rep, gave me options on both new and used models that I was looking to purchase. After all is said and done the Quality of the brand,Honesty of Shayne and the cost of the Sonata with all it offers can't be touched by other auto makers. See ya in about 300,000 miles.
