I came in for an appointment to get my recalls done on my older mdx. I came a little late for my appt, but they accomodated me without any question. They told me how long it'll take and offered their courtesy shuttle. After my car was done, they picked me up and gave me a list of things I may have to take care of in the future with their multi point inspection. Ed was great explaining everything. Good experience!

We moved from Texas couple months ago and always heard ppl here in Cali are mean but until I met this guy Ed. Ed is a super friendly,nice, funny person. I went to the Acura dealership by Montarclair and didn't like it much. Definitely will go back to him for my car service and will definitely bring my daughter car to him as well.

Never called and informed about a transmission part. When I called, I found out the part was never ordered. The technician ordered the part and I made an appointment. Appointments don't matter. It's first come first serve, so regardless, I still had to wait.After waiting at home for 3 hours. I never got a call back. When I called them, they told me they ordered the WRONG part. Well, when were they going to call ME!!I was apprehensive to go back, but had already been charged for a "diagnostic evaluation." I don't know of other mechanics that charge for this. Most mechanics inspect the problem then give you an estimate.My transmission was fixed, so they say only time will tell. It will be the end of me ever going back there again. I gave them another chance after not going for a couple of years, but I was wrong. Don't make the same mistake as me. Some businesses truly never change!

Salesperson Richard: very friendly and extremely patient (During a span of 7 days, I was looking into Certified pre-owned, 2015's and 2016's, and he found me everything I wanted and needed to know, with me never confirming I would make a purchase from him.) Once the purchase was finalized, he spent the longest time in the car with me to make sure I understand what each switch does and when to use it. He even helped me hook up my mobile phone to the speakers. I've been driving for over 30 years, and still he amazed me with what he knows.And this is not the end of the story. He then introduced me to the Service Dept Manager Alan, so he (Alan) could help answer all the technical questions I had about my new car. And was this guy knowledgeable: I swear he was the one designing and built my car. I've already told my friends and their friends they have to get an Acura, and they must get it from these 2 persons.

I felt totally special and treated like a valuable customer. I like the technology of making advance reservations online. I like the warm, welcoming greeting when I arrived. I liked getting a shuttle to and from work, which saved me the cost of renting a car. The service advisor, Ed, explained everything, followed up later with the diagnosis and called when the car was ready. And if all that wasn't enough, my car was washed and vacuumed.

Alan is one of the reasons I trust and respect Thomas Acura as he has a wealth of knowledge and experience. He is honest and I trust his judgment explicitly. He will let me know what services he recommends and what services I can wait on until the next service and I truly appreciate his honesty and expertise. It is this type of quality and service that sets Thomas Acura apart from other dealers. I have tried going to another dealer in the beginning that was closer to me and I was utterly disappointed with the service and felt that I could not trust them but once I came to Thomas Acura, I finally felt that I was getting the best service. Everyone at the dealership is courteous from the cashiers to the managers and it is just a very nice experience all around. I will never go to another dealer as long as I own an Acura and highly recommend and have recommended the dealership to friends and family looking for a great place to purchase and service their vehicles!

We came in to look at a used car. We called in, a sales representative, Bryan Oh, answered the call. When we arrived, another person named Paul greeted us at the door. Bryan Oh was busy. So he asked Paul to show us the car. Paul was very professional and patient in answering our questions. When Bryan was done with his other clients, he came over and explained us about the car and did test driving with us. He did a good job to explain to us about the car and related questions. After about 30 min discussions, we decided to buy the car. We feel that sales reps here are very professional. We feel we can trust them so we decide to buy car here. We also had a very pleasant interaction with the lady (think her name is Jessica) who helped us with the paper work. Everything went very smoothly, and we only used 2.5 hours to buy a car.

Me and my wife visited Thomas Acura last Sunday and had a very bad experience. Firstly, usually you go to a dealership, you will find agents on the door itself to help you, but with Thomas Acura it was totally different, even though there were not too many customers visiting at that time. We reached at Thomas Acura and stepped inside the dealership showroom, one of the sales agent was showing the display model to one of the customer and all other agents were inside the rooms. This agent did not even radio the other agents to inform that we are there and someone should entertain us. After waiting 10-15 minutes, I went to one of the manager offices and there were other agents chit-chatting there with no customers. Anyways, We met the sales agent with whom I scheduled the appointment, his name was Bryan Oh. He took us to the car in the parking lot and offered us a test drive, we went for the drive and asked some questions to Bryan, but unfortunately he did not have answers to our questions. He couldn't explain us the features of the car and said -- """"Don't ask me, this is the way it is, Acura made it, I don't know"""". I was very surprised by his reply as he is selling a Acura car and he is not trained on the car features. Next, we asked him to appraise our car, as we went to the dealership to make the deal. He looked at our car, it was a convertible, he took the keys from us and sat on the driver seat. I thought he asked our car keys to check the odometer reading, but he start pushing all the controls and clicked on the button to open the convertible top. I was so mad at him, as he didn't even ask us if it is okay to open the top. He should have checked with us if there was something in the truck and if it is okay to open the roof. If he (Bryan Oh) was educated on the car, he should know that if you try to open the roof top and there is something in the truck, then it will get stuck and can cause damage. Story was not finished there, he came up with papers which had our car appraisal number and the new car price quote. When we asked him for the explanation of the cost breakdown, he replied -- """"""This is the way it is, TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT""""""". I have never seen a sales agent talking like that. I said okay, we will leave it (as he sounded rude), I stood up, grabbed the papers, suddenly he forcefully snatched the papers from the hand and ran in. I was brain freezed, what happened to this guy, why is he reacting like this. I went to his manager office to inform that he was rude to me, and there too, he was standing there and kept repeating loudly -- Thank you, thank you ....... I am like, stop it, let me talk to your boss. Anyways, that was my experience, we went 40 miles to Thomas Acura with 100% intention to buy the car that day, but with the culture at Thomas Acura, I feel lucky we did not buy from there. I would not recommend Thomas Acura.

I felt totally special and treated like a valuable customer. I like the technology of making advance reservations online. I like the warm, welcoming greeting when I arrived. I liked getting a shuttle to and from work, which saved me the cost of renting a car. The service advisor, Ed, explained everything, followed up later with the diagnosis and called when the car was ready. And if all that wasn't enough, my car was washed and vacuumed.

Salesperson Richard: very friendly and extremely patient (During a span of 7 days, I was looking into Certified pre-owned, 2015's and 2016's, and he found me everything I wanted and needed to know, with me never confirming I would make a purchase from him.) Once the purchase was finalized, he spent the longest time in the car with me to make sure I understand what each switch does and when to use it. He even helped me hook up my mobile phone to the speakers. I've been driving for over 30 years, and still he amazed me with what he knows.And this is not the end of the story. He then introduced me to the Service Dept Manager Alan, so he (Alan) could help answer all the technical questions I had about my new car. And was this guy knowledgeable: I swear he was the one designing and built my car. I've already told my friends and their friends they have to get an Acura, and they must get it from these 2 persons.

I bought a pre-owned Acura TSX from Thomas Acura in June 2013. I followed up with a thank you note but surprisingly never heard back from the salesman. About a year later I contacted him about a service question but never heard back. Recently I contacted him about trading in the car for a new TLX but again never heard back from him. (He's still listed in the company directory.) I also spoke to an internet representative. The dealership didn't have the exact car I wanted so I asked if they could locate one. She never got back to me. Don't they want to sell cars?

I have never had a better experience at a car dealership. The staff was not pushy at all....so much different from most dealerships that just tell you what they think you want to hear in order to make the sale. I was greeted by Ian Thomas, who went out of his way to make sure I was accommodated when I said I'd like some help. He introduced me to Jessica; she was very helpful and followed through by notifying me on all the information I needed to know. Worst car experience of my life. Have purchased/leased six Acura's in the past, this dealership actually lied about a add-on product that they sold to me for $624.00 called "Finishing Touch" Do not buy this product! I made an appointment to have this product put on a couple of days later. I was called the day of the appointment and was told they can not honor the appointment due to poor communication between the Sales Manager and the Service Manager. Do not buy at this dealership!

Bought my new 2013 RDX from Thomas Acura. I worked with JR Davidson the sales person and Zabi Kabir the sales manager. Both are friendly, funny and easy to work with.After some internet search, i narrowed down the price range for how much i wanted to pay for this vehicle. I sent out price inquiries to a bunch of Acura dealers around town, and got a few quotes including Thomas Acura. Thomas wasn't the lowest offer, but they were able to beat it by another $100. Everything went so smooth with ZERO back-and-forth typical dealer haggle. JR and I exchanged a few emails and got everything agreed upon before i went to pick up the vehicle. When i arrived, JR greeted me with my brand new RDX. He spent a good 20 minutes going thru all the features with me, very thoroughly. Unlike many other sales I met who only cared about $$$ and sales, JR knows the product inside-out. The price was exactly what i was quoted, and he did not push to sell me anything i didn't need.Zabi, the sales manager, took care of all my paperwork. He's efficient and funny. It took less than an hour to go thru all the documents, and his jokes made the whole process like cruising on a Hawaiian sunset boat.Overall, the experience of buying my new RDX with Thomas Acura has been nothing but pleasant. I highly recommend JR Davidson and Razi. Do your homework, get prepared and work with Thomas Acura. Not only will you get your loved new car, but with ease and smile.

This is the second time that I have leased a MDX from Thomas Acura. The experience was great. The people were very friendly and very knowledgeable about the MDX. I got the color and model that I wanted within a very short time. Everyone at the dealership was very organized and the process moved very quickly. The price for the MDX was very fair. Before I left the dealership, JR Davidson explained all of the features of the MDX and helped to connect my iPhone to the bluetooth connection in the vehicle. The technology in the MDX is amazing and it really helped that this dealership ensured that I knew how to utilize the technology before I left in my new vehicle. I just leased my second Acura MDX (tech package) from Thomas Acura. I had a great experience the first time I leased from Thomas Acura and the second time was even better. The sales personnel were great, the SUV is beautiful and the technology is wonderful. The vehicle has a wonderful ride and is great to drive. I would deifinitely recommend using this dealership. They were extremely helpful and the price was very reasonable. The sales personnel (JR and Loren) explained all of the features to me before I left the dealership. I truly love the vehicle. Will defintely go back to Thomas to purchase my next Acura. The person in charge of the paperwork was also very efficient and made the process go very smoothly.

I thought I had a good experience until I received a letter asking for more money. They claim they made a mistake in calculating the DMV cost-yeah, a 15+% mistake!! So, now I have to pay for their error or have my registration held up. They ruined the buying experience and good will. If you ever buy from them, (I wouldn't ever again), make sure that you include a clause that if they make a mistake in the calculations, they eat the cost. Don't come demanding additional $$$ from the customer who in good faith had negotiated a price you agreed to!

Got price quotes for 09 MDX Tech from few dealerships. Thomas Acura gave the lowest price quote, that's why I bothered to go to their showroom. Big mistake! Misleading price quote as it didn't include destination charge, while other dealers usually include it. Said would beat other dealers price quote, but they only matched it.

Worst car buying experience I have ever had. Negotiated with them for a week and a half on the price of a vehicle. Was totally honest and told them my bottom line price. Left dealer because they couldn't do it. The following week I kept recieving phone calls/voicemails from this dealership from several different people. They kept on trying to push me to buy the car at a price 2k higher than my bottom line price. Finally the sales associate Quyen told me he would get the price that I wanted, if I came in to the dealer to show that I was serious. I went to the dealer the following weekend and signed the paperwork for the car. Bid mistake, these guys are using some underhanded tactics. Using the different numbers and percents for the monthly payment, they totally tricked me into paying 2k more than what I had wanted. Completely dirty and underhanded. Kevin the Sales Manager denies everything that happened and is saying the deal is completely legitimate and that they did nothing wrong. The finance manager when reviewing the contract with me was very confusing circleing several different numbers but never once saying, "This is how much you're paying for this vehicle." My car was not even clean on the inside, there was a layer of dust on the dash. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP, THEY USE UNDERHANDED TACTICS TO SELL YOU A CAR FOR A HIGHER PRICE THAN YOU NEGOTIATED FOR.

Although we did recieve a great price for our vehicle and good service from Joel, the manager and other salesmen were the MOST unprofessional, dishonest, and rude salesmen we have ever seen in our lives! If you are looking for a great Acura experience, go to Weir Canyon - we would have bought there if they had the particular vehicle we were looking for! If you do shop at Thomas, watch out for added/undisclosed prices at the time of signing and don't be surprised if you have to really fight to get a fair deal.

Unfortunately I didn't catch the name of the "head guy of used car sales" today but I was quite surprised. I am 19 and have been working full time/going to school my whole life. If I sell my current car and add in extra money I could easily afford an acura rsx. I told the guy Im looking to pay around $15k for a used rsx. He then replies "Ok well we offer financing.." so I cut him off and just say "no the car will be payed fully off." This asshole seems to be unhappy with where he is at in life because he replies to me "is mommy going to be writing a check or..?" I was shocked at what he said to a serious customer. He then offered me a 02 rsx with over 60k miles for $15-$16k... wow... this guy not only insults me but offers me a shitty deal. I would recommend people go to a different acura dealership.

My family and I have owned many vehicles and dealt with many dealerships with both good and bad experiences. However, the experience I've had at Thomas Acura was beyond horirble. Paul, my main salesperson, knew NOTHING about the Acura TSX I was looking at!! He didn't even know about the simple, standard features in the car! On top of that, we traded in a vehicle. Prior to trading in, we looked up the rates in the Blue Book, so we knew what we were working with. They gave us a sub par price, but when it came down to cutting deals for the new Acura, they tried to drop the price of the trade in from $10,300 to $9000something. According to the Blue Book, the dealer trade in price for my vehicle ranges from $11-13,000. Then they went on this whole rant about how they were doing us a favor. YEAH RIGHT.So after the trade in and new car business was taken care of, it took them FOREVER to clean and was the car. I mean, we were the ONLY customers there at the time and it was near closing, so there were no other cars for them the service! When the car was finally ready for me to drive home, they told me that I needed to go back in the near future so they could remove the watermarks on my car, because apparantly, that special service guy was on vacation. Paul told me that we can come anytime and it would only take 1-2 hours. I took the car back yesterday to fix the watermarks. We even called ahead and spoke to Paul to confirm this service and to make sure that if we brought it in at that time, we'd be able to get it back the same day. When we got there and spoke to Paul and an employee in the service department, they said that it'd take about 2-3 hours. Fine, that's acceptable. However, as my mother and I were pulling out of the lot, Paul comes up to the car and says that we need to leave it overnight because that technician was once again not in. Paul and the other employee then promised that the car would be done by noon today, so we didn't bother to borrow one of their vehicles. So what happens at noon today? I called them to check up on the status. Was it done yet? OF COURSE NOT! Paul told us around 12:30 pm that they had started working on it and it'd be done in a few hours. This time, I decided not to deal with Paul, because he clearly has no idea what he's doing. I called the dealership and complained to their receptionist and told her the story and she transferred me directly to the technician in charge. Guess what the technician told me? THEY HAVEN'T STARTED WORKING ON MY CAR YET!!!! I was LIVID. The technician told me that my car wouldn't be done until 6 pm. I've had to reschedule my day and sit around and wait for the dealership to get their act together. I am apalled by their uneducated salesman and I am livid that Paul kept feeding me excuses and speculations rather than just tell me the truth straight up. Never again will I do business with them and I will make sure that no one I know does business with them either.
