The salesman was extremely friendly and helpful when it came to picking out a new car. He didn't pressure or overwhelm me with cars that were not in my price range or style. He was courteous and didn't feel like a shark like other dealerships tend to be. I purchased a new Ford Edge using Ford financing. The online pre-approval paperwork and online forms were easy. The dealership was ready with all my papers very quickly. Sales and finance were friendly and efficient. I was never pressured to buy a car I didn't like. We agreed an a very good price quickly and the financing rebate was great. I love my car and buying it was not a hassle.

Change oil was great, but when we ask about navigator system is not working last week properly, the answer was you need buy a new navigator card, When I bought the Explorer, I think the navigator system is working every time, This is my 7 car in tipton ford, and I have more problems with this car, first in collision deparment (take more time for fix the explorer and I need return 3 o 4 times for little problems),I live in Port Isabel and Tipton ford is in Brownsville and know this with the navigator system.

We needed a second vehicle and sought our trusted sales person whom we have known since 2001. Thru the years we have purchased several vehicles not only for us but my mother, brother and friend. On Saturday the 12th of December I went to the Ford agency to get a tire replaced that I had purchased at the same dealership six months earlier. When I walked into the service area and saw the employee who had attended me the last time and he remembered that I had been there six months earlier with the same problem. Same tire, same side and same type damage. Although he did not offer or provide any type of warranty discount on the six month old tire when I asked, they got on it and had me out of there pretty quick. Thinking seriously about buying bullet proof tires though. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

To whom it may concern: I am the proud owner of a brand new, 2014 Ford F150 truck. I previously owned a Ford F150 King Ranch truck that drove like a dream. I loved the aesthetics of it, so I was not in a hurry to purchase a replacement. However, every time I drove by the car lot, I swear I could hear a faint murmur telling me to drive in. Last week, I buckled and went in. I requested my previous sales consultant, Moe Sandell, because my prior experiences with him have always been top-notch. True to form, Mr. Sandell waited for me until I got out of work, and greeted me with several models that met the specifications I had given him over the phone. The test drive and the "figures" flowed along in a very timely manner. While I waited, Mr. Sandell answered several questions that I had about another potential trade-in for one of my children. Upon signing, he was very thorough in explaining how to navigate through all the different features. It was very late in the evening, yet, I never felt rushed or pressured to stop asking him questions. Since my purchase, my truck has become the topic of conversation at my place of employment. In addition, I have had to give several "joy rides" to some. I have already recommended Tipton Ford and Mr. Sandell to several colleagues, one of which will be going by this weekend. This has been, by far, the best experience I've had purchasing a vehicle. It is refreshing to see a dealership so in tune with its customers. I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner. The employee Fernando made certain I have my F-150 inspected, he gave me his e-mail address so my insurance carrier could e-mail me a copy of proof of insurance. It worked out great!What I do have an issue with is the person who placed my Inspection Sticker on the vehicle. It was done poorly and unprofessionally. It made me wonder if he would do the same to his own vehicle. I was not satisfied with his job performance!!!

I ended up leasing a 2014 Ford Fusion SE. I really appreciated the respect and professionalism from Mr. Arturo Portales and Mr. Frank Garnica. It was great. But one thing I went to replace a headlight assembly. I ask if it would need a light adjustment and they said no " the auto service people. when I got my truck and drove it home. The right side headlight was not correct. I look it up online and it said that they do need adjustment. So I did as the ford online said and know it is correct. I know that when replacing the bulb no adjustment is needed but the complete headlight assembly is needed. the service is awesome i have no complaints whatso ever but please inform them about headlight adjustments or leveling headbeams

I was kept well informed of the progress of the repair of my vehicle. The delays with the repair were not the fault of Tipton's, they were the fault of whomever manufactures the junction boxes for the Ford Edge. The third time (and THIRD part) was apparently what it took to get a functional part to complete the repair. The service writer, Braulio, did an excellent job of obtaining replacement parts as quickly as he could and communicating the status of the repair to me.

The technician took my car in before the manager at the Quicklube arrived since I was early and was only getting an oil/filter change and an inspection sticker. He didn't have to do that, but it showed me the group cares about the customer. It save me about 15 minutes. Thanks

I purchased a 2013 Ford Fusion when I lived in Mcallen and now I live in Laguna Vista. I was debating on whether I should go back to Mcallen for an oil change. I made the right decision by going to Tipton Ford. When I arrived there I hadn't even turned my engine off and there was Erasmo Medeles with a smile helping us right from the beginning. He answered all my questions and before we could have a seat here comes 2 bags of popcorn for my wife and I. Then when the oil change was done I was told that they even did a quick wash job on my car. I really never expected that and I'm still amazed at the way we were treated and I will definitely tell everyone of how great you guys are. I seeked info on line and I received an email with some info which was ok. I did not response. But then I received an email from your internet sales manager ( Luis R ) seeking my business so I replied and ask more questions and he responded right away and very kind and professional. There were a few days with back and forth emails so I decided to go in on Monday and meet the salesman. I was VERY IMPRESSED with all the knowledge and patience he had. It was a very hot day and I ask a lot of questions. I did not feel rushed and he had answers to all my questions. Very professional.

Mr. Serna (Tiny) did a fantastic job with his customer service. He made my wife ,who is 8 months pregnate, entirely comfortable in every way. He was not pressing and made our experience extremely positive. My family and I have bought numerous vehicles from Tipton and will continue to return, only this time we will ask for Mr. Serna due to his great personal skills. The finance department was also fantastic . We felt like they weren't just getting us to sign a contract but that they cared about our needs as well. That it was relitivly fast, and not so confusing, sales rep knew his stuff and was very helpful with his answers, also the full tank of gas was nice aswell, being able to negociate my payments was the best i wouldnt be able to do that in any other dealership

The salesmen were much more able to work things out with us than previous visits at Tipton when I ended up purchasing a vehicle elsewhere. This time around was much better.

I had been shopping around but every where I would go everyone seemed to pushy and didnt seem to really want to help me. Then I went to Tipton Ford behind Sams Club and it was totally different the salesman David Sandoval was very nice and seemed willing to help and worked with me I would definitely recommend to go there my credit was not so good but David said it wouldn't be a problem and could get me approved and he did. Every one at the car lot worked together to help me.

Was lost and on the wrong end. About to just leave. Was on the Hyundai side instead of Ford for oil change. Joe Villarreal proceeded to have the job done right there instead of telling me to go around building. I really appreciated that.

The young man that did the oil change on my truck was friendly and courteous.... Also the service rider did not go over or explain the services that the technician recommended . He just handed me the receipt with no direction.....

Every time I come in to get my car serviced, I get a wonderful and genuine greeting from Erasmo. He is always so attentive and what I like is that he thoroughly explains the issue concerning one's car in layman terms. He always assures the customer that there is always a solution to a problem. I had the appt at 8 and Braulio told me it would be about 2 hrs before my car was checked due to previous day car problems. He informed me about my cars progess which honestly before this wouldnt have happened. I also had an oil change for free(didnt know 1st oil change is free) which took less than 30 minutes which I love! Service Dept is respectful and friendly.

I received prompt attention. The salesman showed me exactly what I was looking for without any high pressure of "up selling' me to a more expensive vehicle. I was shown various options, so I was well informed of warranties and programs that were available. Overall, I felt that the experience was positive and friendly. I now have a wonderful new vehicle at the price I was comfortable paying.

One thing that stands out the most is that the service employees took the time to physically show me what was wrong with my breaks. Even though the expense was not expected and hard to swallow it was a bit more of reassurance as to why we had to get all the work done.

Everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful. They answered all of my questions, asked me about some specifications I hadn't thought of, and were overall very knowledgeable. Luis took care to keep me in the loop every step of the way from finding a car, setting up a bluelink account, etc.
