I bought a used Cadillac from Scott Trigilio today and I was so impressed with the dealership and his knowledge of this car I had to write this review. Even though they don't sell Cadillac's Scott studied up on this car and was able to explain all the features to me. He also was very efficient and friendly and this sale has restored my faith in professional salesmen and car dealers .... well at least this Tom Ahl dealership. If you are looking for a good experience while shopping for a new or used vehicle give this team the opportunity.

I was shopping for a Mustang GT. I found a good deal online and Drove 3 hours to check it out. The owner Tom Ahl, came over to the dealers desk and personally thanked me for coming into his dealership. I would make the trip again when I am in the market for another car. These guys are very friendly and professional. Matt Steiner, the dealer I was working with, was very friendly and was able to meet me in the middle of my aggressive offer. He was also willing to deliver the car to me so I did not have to drive back in from cleveland area. This was a big plus. I reccomend this dealer to anyone. One of the most positive car buying experiences I have ever had. These guys and gals there, want to sell you a car the right way.

I was shopping around for a 2014 impala, when I met with a very helpful sales representative. Chris Keifer was very helpful and made my shopping experience very enjoyable. The price I was given for my trade in and the price of the car I was purchasing I thought was very fair.

Chris Keiffer is a very good sales person and very easy to deal with. I like his no pressure sales. Where Tom Ahl fell short was is the service. When I picked the car up the inside had not been cleaned. And we found a large cut in the tire plus there was no spare key.A tire and rim was installed from another car and was told they would get me a tire ,owners manual and key I called a week later and was told nothing had come in and they would call me if it did. I am now sitting in the dealership almost 3 weeks later. ( only because I stopped in and ask ) getting a tire installed. When I ask about my key....well that still has to be ordered. I in my heart od hearts beleive the car was never run through the shop and inspected nor serviced.

We had a great time when we recently picked up our NEW Encore SUV which came directly from the factory. It was just as we ordered it. We appreciate Chris Kiefer's patience and all the help he gave us in making this purchase. We would highly recommend him. We want to thank the other associates who helped us as well. I traded in my explorer and was told that it was the best deal they could give me. Randy Mason worked well with me, but he had to go to his boss, and she said that is the best they could do. I took there word and traded my explorer in. Only to find out that they are asking almost twice what they gave me on trade for my explorer. i don't mind them making a little profit on each vehicle, but now i feel like i was xxxxx on the deal. It will make me think long and hard before i deal with Ahl's again. They don't seem to have a problem taking advantage to make a buck.Dean Coolidge

I recently bought a 2012 dodge ram1500 Outdoorsman crew cab 1500 4x4. I found the truck on the inner net so everything was done over the phone. the sale associate that i personal worked with was Bob.S. Bob is a terrific person we worked out a deal on my new truck. The advertise truck had a back up camera & when the truck was delivered the truck didn't come with one. I called Bob & he said that they would make it right & put one in no big deal right.? I live in Michigan 233 miles away they sent the camera to my local dealer who took care of everything & Bob gave me a follow up call just to make sure i was good with everything that had been installed.

This is the third GMC truck we have purchased from Tony Phillips at Tom Ahl, Tony helped us chose the right trucks for the job, gave us a great price and treated us fairly on our trades, Tony also got us a great deal on a Acadia that we use for family outings. We visited numerous dealerships around Ohio. None were as professional and accommodating as Josh & Jay at Tom Ahl!! The purchasing experience was extremely simple. The car we purchased was in perfect condition. Josh & Jay even took the time to stay late after the dealer closed to complete our deal and provide us with a tutorial on the car. Overall a fantastic experience!!

I wanted to take a minute to write to you to praise one of your associates, Amy Rosengarten. Yesterday,( 1-9-14) on a trip from Columbus to Chicago, the alternator in my Denali went out leaving me not only stranded but with a trip to Chicago that needed to happen that day. I called ahead, Amy helped me to find a tow service and found out that the alternator was, not in stock. I figured that no way at 1:00 PM, was I going to get fixed up that day. When I finally got to your dealership And I walked the door and said I have an alternator problem Amy said Denali? and told me she thought I would be in soon and had reserved a spot for me and that she would get me in pronto. She did, and while I was surfing for hotels in Lima she came in and gave me the price and told me the alternator was on the way, and I would be good to go shortly!Not only did she do an outstanding job, but I was also impressed with the overall demeanor of all your people!. Very friendly and accommodating. I own several companies and own many GM cars and trucks, my loyalty to GM is amply paid back with service like you and Amy provide!This morning, my staff, when they found out I didnt have to overnight in Lima, said I was lucky. Luck had nothing to do with it, Amy Rosengarten did.

Found via the Tom Ahl website. Visited the dealership. Test drove the vehicle that was all it was advertised to be. Our expectations of vehicle were correct and we then worked out an agreement to purchase the vehicle. Walked out of the dealership and left with our new vehicle in less than 2 hours. I believe Tom Ahl dealerships pride themselves on having some of the best prices and after a trip to the trip and experience we had, we would very much recommend Tom Ahl to friends and family. My husband and I came in to get a new car for myself. We came in, to look at a Black 2012 Chevy Sonic LT.....after test driving it, and noticing a few scratches, we opted to test out the Red 2012 Chevy Sonic LT, which was a little bit more in price, but had less miles. We ended up falling in love with the red one, and Trevor was our salesman. He worked with us, when it came to getting our payment what we wanted it to be. We were interested in a GMC Acadia or Terrain. Trevor was very helpful in helping us make the right choice. As it turned out the Acadia would have been to big for our garage. Trevor explained the benefits of gas mileage savings etc. We purchased a 2012 Terrain. Trevor went over all the accessories with us and answered all our questions. My husband and I have been an Ahl customer for years. This is at least the tenth car we have purchased there. We are always treated with respect and courtesy. We felt the salesman worked with us on coming to terms on a deal. He tried to find the car we were looking for as far away as Missouri, but in the end we ordered the car we wanted. The trade-in allowance for our car was fair and what we expected. When we placed our order, there was some confusion about floor mats. Custom-made floor mats for the rear seats were ordered, and we thought we were ordering mats for the front. When we picked up the car and found out about the mats, the sales staff agreed to order the front mats at no extra cost to us.Of course I would recommend this dealership to others. We are definitely part of the Ahl family of satisfied customers.

I have been a customer of Tom Ahls in the past and i knew going in the deal would really have to blow me away or knock my socks off.This did not happen after recieving a letter from this dealership saying how they will deal on my 2010 jeep trade this didnt happen ; although the salesperson was friendly and helpful he was not nor his management team were not going to make me a deal i could live with infact they left me feeling angry. The letter was a lie this deaership will do what ever it takes to get you on there lot then take your socks and choke you with them.We wasted 2 hours of our time for nothing and no i would not recommend this dealership Chuck Iiams

There are a lot of strong reviews here in favor of Tom Ahl dealerships, but I'm afraid I'm not feeling the love. I checked out a used vehicle at the "Ahl under 10" lot. Despite the staff all being friendly and easy to talk to, and the car being nice to boot, I was not pleased with what they were offering. I think they could tell I was "green" in my buying experience and wanted to push me around a little. They absolutely refused to budge on the sticker price. However, they did budge on the offer for my trade in vehicle, and increased that to a satisfactory level, and this was because another salesman had the say in it. Although the price wasn't too terrible on the car, it just amazed me that they wouldn't come down a few hundred dollars to sell this car to me. That's all it would take. They wouldn't even make a counter offer, which surprised me. The reason I persisted was because I know that you can find the same car cheaper elsewhere. I know dealers mark up their used cars. They have to make money somehow, and I understand they have to make a living, but people have budgets as well. I think the salesman forgot that for the hour that I was there and he was unwilling to work with mine. Again, I think it was in part because I was green and didn't know what to expect, but I hope the salesman asks himself if 200 dollars was really worth losing a customer, perhaps many. I told them where I wanted to be and they just wouldn't get there. I certainly won't refer my friends or family to them.

This is the tale of a potential horror story with a happy ending. My wife Sandy and I are on vacation in our 2011 Sonata Limited with 27900 mi when stoping for gas the car wouldn't start. Now for the second time (1st at 9500mi)the brake switch failed (12.00 retail part)and we had to be towed to dealer Tom Ahl at 1:30pm. Tom Ahl's service advisor Adam Booms was was very gracious an worked us into his schedule so as not to disrupt our vacation. The switch was fixed and we asked to have car serviced while there. A problem was found with the right front brake and rotor. The service tech Eric Ream was very observent. This car has been to Larry Miller dealership in Phoenix at least THREE times for a break noise....answer was all Hyundai's have a break noise. So we drove it. After replacing rotor and brake pads all is well!!! much to our surprise there is a chunk of foreign material from factory in the middle of of the brake pad. Now to fight dealer (Larry Miller-Phoenix) and Hyundia for warentee work. We were so happy with Adam and Eric they worked diligently to get us back on the road at 5:30 pm, so we could continue to PA to see our family there! This is what a dealership should be like!!

I felt like they really valued me as a person and my business. They offered me the best deal of any dealer in the general area, this was a huge plus for me. Even after the sale they treated me great, I would recommend them to anyone who's in the market for a vehicle.

This was our second vehicle purchase with Matt Steiner from Tom Ahl. We were looking for a different vehicle because ours was totaled in an accident. After our first experience with Matt, we came back when we needed another vehicle. We told him what we wanted, and they were able to find it at auction within a week. Finding a new car couldn't have been any easier! The entire staff is very friendly and enjoyable to work with. We will definitely head back to Tom Ahl when looking for another vehicle and would recommend them to anyone.

We made an oline purchase of a used HHR. The experience was THE BEST auto purchase of our adult lives. Each person we had contact with at this dealership was courteous and professional. My family and I have purchased many automobiles over the years at various dealerships. Our experience at Tom Ahl with salesman, Trevor Howery, by far exceeded standards set by all previous dealerships. Trevor allowed us to take the time to search for the automobile that fit our needs without any high pressure sales techniques. The price of the vehicle was exceptional. The owner came over and introduced himself. As we departed the dealership we observed the owner working just as hard as the other employees of the dealership. Mr. Ahl's management/ownership tactics were very admirable. The entire process was very enjoyable and customer service was unmatched.

This was my first time buying a car and the Tom Ahl, Lima dealership made the experience an excellent one. Scott Jackson is very customer focused and did an outstanding job of taking care of all the minor details involved in the process. Excellent experience I bought a 2008 GMC SIERRA from Tom Ahl's Bill Cook online on Thursday went to Lima Ohio to pick it up the next day. Got out of the car Bill was standing there at the door waiting on us (the wife was with me she has all the money). I never met Bill in person until that day. He handed me the keys and said lets go drive her, he explained everything in detail of what this truck will do.I cant believe the headlight come on by themselves !!!LolBill took the time to give us a tour of the Service and Parts Dept very impressive Bill then turned us over to Stacy Tabler who did all the paper work and informed us of all the options we had purchasing the truck she was very nice. I searched all over the local papers and internet for a 2010 Suburban. I came across the vehicle I was looking for at a good price at Tom Ahl Buick - GMC. I contacted them thru email and received a fast response from Bill. After working out the details I made arrangements to see the vehicle in person. There was no haggleing or hidden costs. The price agreed apon was the price I paid. He answered every question and in a short amount of time I was driving off in my new Suburban. I would definitly recommend Bill and Tom Ahl Buick - GMC to anyone that is interested in purchasing a vehicle, but wants to avoid the hastle and sketchy sales tactics of other places. I will definitly be a return customer.

We were looking for a Buick Enclave, drove on the lot and was greeted by Mr.Tom Ahls and Mr Chris Keifer, they were so friendly and helpful, from there it only got better. We found the car we wanted. Chris was courteous and so accomadating. Our whole experience was great. The following week I retuned to have the running boards installed we ordered. Instead of waiting in the very comfortable,refreshing and accomadating loung, I was offered a nice car to use to go shopping and run errands. Short of an unlimited credit card to use it could not have been a better day. Everyone in the service dept was courteous and helpful and just plain nice. Before leaving Chris came out and thanked us for our business. What Service!!!! Thank you Tom Ahls for a great buying experience and for having a great group of people working for you. Driving 2.5 hours from the Cincinnati area to view the vehicle proved to be a satisfyling experience. Tony Phillips was very knowledgable about the vehicle and we found very comfortable to deal with. Also the manager on duty Saturday April 30 was very accomodating to work with. Your finance person was also very friendly and accomodating in arranging financing. After spending the last 2 months researching vehicles we found the 2009 Avalanche we chose to be the perfect fit for our needs. We will definitely recommend Tom Ahl Dealership to our many friends and family who live in the Mid Ohio area. Just and FYI. We originally found this vehicle listed on Ebay which proves a useful tool in vechicle locating.

Trevor and other staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. About a week later, I made an appointment to have some things checked out on the car and took it to the service department. The gentleman I spoke with was courteous and helpful with any questions I had about the car. Never felt pressured to buy. I would definately recommend this dealership to anyone.
