Bought my highlander years ago with lifetime oil change certificate. It clearly states at least 2 / yr following the mileage recommendation (every 5k miles). Brought it in and was told i got my 2 oil changes this year. Read the contract to the svc rep and he said his mgr wouldnt let him do it. Strangely the mgr was unavailable. Asked for a call back from the mgr and strangely (again) i didnt get a call back. This is where the country is heading when companies refuse to honor clearly worded contracts. Oh yeah, my prev oil change took 1.5 hrs with an appt.Make your own decision if you want to do business here

I got very bad experience with my Certified Toyota Highlander from Toyota Morristown New Jersey.I bought my certified car almost 19k miles and after 4k I start feeling vibration when i am pushing brake.I went to the nearest Toyota Dealer (Toyota Dayton at Rt 130 NJ) they states that I need to change my cars front pads and rotors.And they got surprised how I got a certified car with that brake condition.They proposed to me to contact Toyota Morristown and ask them to get an Authorization to do the job in the nearest Toyota dealer instead driving 100 miles (round trip) to do my cars job.Spoke with the Service Center at the Morristown Dealer, they said, no way and maybe has Toyota Dayton at RT 130 wanted to do extra jobs for my car to pay them extra moneys.I got an appointment to check my cars brake at Morristowns dealer, after one hour, one of the Customers Service told me thats true I need to change my cars front brake and rotors and its going to be for free because my car still under warranty. But he apologized because they dont have them on Stock.I got surprised, asked him, how come you dont have pads and rotors for 2014 Highlander, how I am going to drive my car? NOTHINGGGGGGHe gave me an appointment after one week. I went home and after 2 days I checked my car history in Toyota Owner Website, I found that he mentioned in my car history that my car needs front brake pads and rotors but the Customer does not want work done ( Client Declined the Service )Went back on my appointment date, drove 100 miles (round trip) to finish my cars service, after 3 hours and half waiting, the Customer service told me that they just changed the pads and resurfaced the rotors.Told them I am not happy, waiting 3 hours and half for getting an incomplete job, you promised me last week to change pads and rotors, he said no, we have to try to cut the rotors first, asked him why you have changed in my international vehicle report, lying and saying that the customers declined the job, I got no answer.Spoke with the Service Center Manager to get answers for my question, nothing and still nothing.Wish I can get someone who can help me to change my Car history report and to take action with them.As much am really happy with my Highlander, but really I am surprised how come Toyota cant take any action with them? I've been a Toyota Morristown customer for several years and haven't had any customer service problems until very recently, when Raymond O'Brien was assigned to my account. Raymond O'Brien exhibited the worst form of customer service. He refused to address my needs after I had been there all day and insulted me. He should be penalized, if not fired for disrespecting and harassing a loyal customer.

Juan Martinez has been a tremendous help in every aspect of our Toyota experience.It started 2 yrs ago when my wife and i stopped in very late one week night to look into leasing a car and Juan's patience was remarkable. I was actually embarrassed, because it was so late we offered to come back the next night but he genuinely made us feel welcome. We leased the car that night. Made an appointment at 9am for a routine oil change and tire rotation something that takes 30 min I was told an hour which is an same but agreed to wait. 2 hours later and my car was still not done. Do not waste your time. They are rude service people, complete disregard for your entire day. Will never come back. And would recommend ANY other place over this over crowded room full of liars

Nobody likes using their valuable time and money on car repairs, but the staff at Toyota of Morristown do their best to make this generally unpleasant occasion as painless as possible. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and courteous, and while I sat and waited for my car, I observed nothing but the same as I watched the staff interact with other customers... this includes the employees checking in the cars, the staff helping guests inside, and the technicians themselves. On this particular occasion, I had the pleasure of being helped by both Judy Forsyth and Alex. They always provided me with thorough and accurate estimates before doing any repairs, explained what and why each repair was needed, and did so without adding stress, pressure, or intimidation to the experience. And the waiting areas are spacious and comfortable, with amenities like wifi, coffee, and snacks. Even though they service all different car makes, I was so impressed by Toyota of Morristown that it will actually make me consider buying a Toyota for my next car, just to know that I can rely on their care and expertise. Although the car color I wanted was not available at this dealership, they searched other dealers and got the car for me within the time frame promised. Just trying to get them to listen to my requirement proved very difficult. Both the sales rep: Junior and the manager: Alvin were very poor communicators. I think I knew more about the auto in question than did the rep and all the manager wanted to do was sell me a special deal on a 2015 leftover. Neither listened to what I was asking for. I was very disappointed and will probably not return.

I was initially contacted by Jack Tuminaro after I submitted an online request for additional information on a Corolla. Jack T provided the information I needed after several emails and phone calls. This initial interaction was a surprisingly pleasant experience. I was ready to come in to test-drive a vehicle and to discuss pricing. I arrived at the dealership and felt immediately welcomed at the reception desk. I did not feel "targeted". I was introduced to Marlon Roberts (Client Advisor) who was already aware of the communication I've had with Jack T and knowledgeable on the vehicle (features, pricing, etc.) I was interested in. We test-drove the car and came back to review some numbers (I did bring a calculator). I also met with Alvin Delgado (Sales Manager). He and Alvin were personable and easy to deal with. Everything was transparent with the pricing. Pricing was extremely competitive. I left the dealership (without much sales pressure) to review the sales offer at home. I returned a few hours later and finalized the purchase. I arranged to come in the next day at a specific time and drove off with my new car easily within 35 min after arriving at the dealership. This was a surprisingly pleasant and easy car buying experience.

After numerous attempts at buying a highlander and several unscrupulous salesmen later , I stumbled upon Toyota of Morristown. I seriously need to write a blog about buying a car to help those unsuspecting car buyers who get cheated by scammers aka salesmen. So I was in the market for a CPO Toyota Highlander. Toyota of Morristown put up an ad on the toyotacertified.com website and it seemed like a great deal. I was the first one to get into the dealership to check out this vehicle. Debra Sansone was the sales rep that helped me with the process. She was very helpful and courteous towards me. The manager Alvin (Delgado I think) was pretty nice as well. I traded in my Jag and was pretty upset with the trade in price but it is what it is. I could have sat on my car and wasted a few weeks trying to sell it privately. But I traded it in anyways of my own volition. The financing part was pretty good albeit I got suckered into buying the maintenance plan and the frills. But as opposed to my other experiences with dealerships, this was very pleasant. If I had to buy another car I would surely stop by this dealership. I know if we have a bad experience we usually rant on forever but this time I thought since I had a good experience I should let people out there know that there are some nice dealers out there. All the best in your hunt.

I was nearing the end of my second lease from Toyota of Morristown and decided to see if they could continue their ability to make the sales experience as easy as possible. I asked for John Dockx since he was the person who assisted me for the previous leases. He was able to help me to quickly make my choice from amongst the many available models and colors that was available. These guys are absolutely the most UNPROFESSIONAL dealership ever. I cannot imagine WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE anywhere for any business much less a car dealership,I won't even go into the actual negotiation of my lease which ended messy because after getting to a monthly payment we were comfortable with, at the very end when we were signing the papers with the finance manager/ANTHONY, they threw on a "restocking charge" that was never once mentioned before. That said, we ended on messy terms after aggressively questioning why this was never brought up until the very end.Let's get into the main point of my complaint. After agreeing to terms of the lease, we made it very clear to them that when the license plates come in (usually 2-3 weeks after you sign), they would need to send them to me in New Hampshire as I would be away for my graduate program and not be able to physically come in to pick them up before the temporary license plate expires (today October 9th) since I am over 5 hours away. After making this explicitly clear, they agreed saying "that's fine, we'll figure it out once the plates come in." Flash forward to 12 days ago when the plates come in. I directly tried to call my salesperson, MARLON, who does not call me back (called 5+ times, sent a few emails and left a few voicemails) I call Toyota Morristown to provide my mailing address in NH and they take my information and tell me "Don't worry we'll get these plates out to you. If there are any issues, we will give you a call." I wait a few days but the plates do not arrive and I do not get a call back. I call them back this past Monday, Oct 5th (3 days before the plates expire) and they say "Oh wow I see the plates right here, I am sincerely sorry. We'll get these out immediately - sorry for the inconvenience! If there are any issues we will give you a call." I call back the following day, Oct 6th (now 2 days left with the temporary plates before they expire) and this time they tell me MARLON is still unavailable so they fwd me to his manager ANTHONY. ANTHONY proceeds to tell me in the last 2 weeks, their entire dealerships policy has changed in that they only give out license plates to the lease signer when they physically come in to pick up the plates! I was fuming at this point - HOW am i supposed to come in today or tomorrow when it is 5hrs away and I have my business school classes to attend?! He states this is policy and nothing can be done. But how can you change the policy without communicating it to me when I have been talking to your dealership for 2 weeks trying to get my plates mailed to me as you previously AGREED you would do?! My belief is that because we ended the actual lease signing on a bad note, ANTHONY, MARLON and everyone else were being purposefully difficult. And then I tell them I can have my dad drive the 1.5hrs to come pick up the plates so that HE can mail them to me and they say NO, this is against policy too. In the last two weeks, I have called Marlon over 20 times, left him many voicemails and sent him 3 long emails explaining the URGENCY of this situation as I will be driving a car with expired plates and he has not ONCE responded to me. ANTHONY who said he would call me back last Wednesday before EOD with a resolution, never called back and then was Out of the office on Thursday. Complete BS - these guys are liars and cheats. Completely unethical in how they run their business.Long story short, I am now sitting here in NH with my car and expired temporary plates and am UNABLE to drive my car that I am making monthly payments to them for. These guys are the WORST! If this convinces even 1 person to go to any other Toyota dealership but Morristown, than I will consider myself successful. You will have a miserable experience with them - guaranteed.

Called up the dealer and spoke with Juan. After a few back and forth with price we agreed upon the price. I was worried because most dealers agree to a price to get you down to the dealership and then it's a bait and switch or hidden charges. I must say when I got to the dealership that was not the case here. Everything was straightforward and honest we signed for the car and wanted to have a leather interior put in. Even the install and delivery after the fact was spot on and I was very happy!!! Would like to thank Alvin Delgado the manager because he followed up with me every step of the way.

When I first came in I was greeted by Alvin who was a sales manager. I felt very welcome and he introduced me to a sales representative, Debra Sansone. I was simply looking during my first visit, yet I was treated with respect and felt very comfortable as the Camry SE became one of my top choices. I returned about a week later with my mother and we were welcomed immediately by Alvin and Debra, who remembered my name and were very helpful in minimizing my monthly payment and making me feel comfortable. I test drove the SE the following morning. I noticed a significant difference in the handling versus the LE model and was extremely happy. I decided at that point that the Camry was the right car for me.

I leased a car on June 12th.at 5pm. On June 13th I realized the car was not for me. I tried to return it on June 13th. They told me I could not. On Monday June 15th I went to dealer hoping someone would help . After much talk they said I could get another toyota.that I liked. I tried to find one but they do not offer a luxury suv. I was told I had to make my mind up immediately or the deal was off the table. Corporate told me a represent ice was going to call me back so I waited a day. When I called the dealer back jay Ratti told me there was nothing he could do. He said he did not even agree with them offering another car. I asked him to please hold off on sending the registration paperwork until we fix this. I was stll waiting to speak with cooperate representative. He told me he could do that but he wouldn't. I have trid to get in touch with jon or Elizabeth brauer I am told they cannot email or fax them and they have no idea when they will be In. I have recently been told they are there a lot. Yet it has been a week and no one at the dealership can get in touch with them. Today I asked " can you please email or fax them " I was told they can only hand them my complaint when they see them. I said time was important here and I really needed to get to them. I was told they don't walk around with a fax machine. I said Well they walk around with email on their cell phone and I was told well I don't know that I don't drive around with them. At the end of this conversation I was again told I will give them the message when I see them.This dealership can help me if they choose to they are being really mean nasty people. I realize by law they do not have to but as humans. Should we not try to help each other? I would tell everyone NEVER GO TO TOYOTA OF MORRISTOWN

Just leased a 2015 Camry after a test drive of several vehicles last weekend. Anthony Manzo was extremely helpful fielding several calls before our initial visit to the showroom and Johnny Cruz was a pleasure (given the inclement weather) preparing several vehicles for test drive~! Upon delivery, staff was warm and welcoming and paperwork process with Eric Arroyo was quick and informative. Anthony had spent a good deal of time going over options on leasing versus purchasing in order to help us make our final decision and was very pleasant and knowledgable throughout the process~! Johnny helped go over the functionality of the vehicle and spent time helping set up bluetooth, radio, etc. to familiarize myself with the car before leaving the lot. Len, Arman, and Ray all helped me tremendously in the process of buying the vehicle. Len was proactive in helping me to purchase the vehicle at a lower price (even when it was discounted) to consider my budget. Giving me another test drive a few days before, I had the opportunity to see if it ran well mechanically and it did. In light of the vehicle being parked for awhile on the lot and not driven much, the brakes had developed some rust which is normal, however the drive promptly after I drove it off the lot I noticed the brakes had some issues as the car "pulsed" back and forth when I was stopping. With this, TOM was considerate in me bringing my car back that day and fixing the problem immediately. I understand things happen and not everything is anyone's fault... some things just happen. I am glad TOM was considerate enough to take care of me immediately. With there being a scratch on the car when I bought it I asked if I could have complimentary touch up paint and I was given it considering it was there before I purchased it. With all this being said, I am glad to have chosen Toyota of Morristown for purchasing my new vehicle as it was a blessing to have worked with the staff as they took care of my concerns of my new investment.Thank you for you're service and hospitality in giving me a vehicle which will be a great investment for my future.

I brought my car in for a recall service on our Toyota Rav 4. I was very happy they were able to provide a loaner since the service was going to take over 5 hours. Aside from doing the recall work, they also checked over the car and happily told me everything looked good. I find their service people to be honest and they will not suggest a repair that isn't necessary. The service was completed when they said it was and the added bonus was a free car wash and vacuum.

The Toyota of Morristown Service Department provided me with terrific service a few weeks ago. I was absolutely blown away by the excellent customer service that I received at every step during the process. Both Joe Setti, the Service Manager, and Andrew Tirpack, the customer adviser, were helpful, friendly and professional. In fact, everyone that I encountered when I dropped off my car that day - from valets to the receptionist to the gentleman who checked me in - provided exceptional customer service. They were friendly, approachable, and proactive. Andrew promised that he would keep me posted on what was going on with the car, and he did - calling me that evening and again in the morning with updates. He also said he had looked over the car and that it was in excellent shape, but it was overdue for its 100,000 mile hybrid service. This is the kind of proactive customer service that is just incredibly impressive. I asked if the hybrid maintenance could be done while the car was there, and he said it was no problem. About an hour after that, he left me a message saying that the car was ready to be picked up as soon as it got back from being washed. (What a nice surprise! A free car wash!) Mary M.

Stopped by to pick up plates and tire stem caps which Dan the salesperson was ready willing and able to install. He was our salesperson from the beginning and was very helpfully and patient with all our questions. Really a nice young man who I hope stays with Morristown Toyota.It was noted at that time that the tire pressure light was on, so he directed us to the service center where the vehicle was taken in immediately for adjustment. Within ten minutes we were on our way to pick up the grandkids from school. I would recommend Morristown Toyota over the other Toyota dealers that I have visited before making my decision on my purchase.

I purchased my 2011 4Runner at this dealership and have taken it to them for service since new. I always get treated extremely well, and the work is always done as promised. For certain recommended services I have not wanted to wait, so the dealership was kind enough to provide a free loaner car for the day. This is a great feature for someone like myself who spends most of their working time driving.I highly recommend this dealership for service on your Toyota, and I will continue to have my vehicle service there for as long as I own it

I went to the dealership not knowing if I was buying new or used. Ed reviewed the options with me and I decided to go certified used. Ed was knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. I would work with him again. The one opportunity area is that the time it took from the agreeing on a price to signing the paperwork took less time (it was much longer than I thought it would be). I am enjoying the car and made the right choice.

Ever since I bought my first Toyota, I have used Toyota of Morristown for service and the experience is always painless. I usually wait, and I never have to wait more than a hour or so for my car to be serviced. The reps are extremely nice and polite, and everyone makes an annoying process very seamless.

I bought my first Toyota in July 2011 and specifically went to a different dealership(which are now, I believe are, under the same company) to buy it because I had a sales person tell me that they had no cars for $300.00 a month and were quite condescending to THIS woman...so I purchased my car in Ledgewood NJ but was eventurally gave Morristown Toyota a try after much convincing from my friends...It was a bit of a rocky start, but my last two service experiences have surpassed my expectations...Everyone has been helpful with questions...the pick up service has is working much better..and they really seem to work as a well oiled team. The men and woment who take my car when I drop it off, are quick and lead you right into your next stop, which is giving info and providing info on you service appt...they are quick, efficient and conscientious as well as friendly...it makes it such a pleasant experience when you got up early to drop off your car and you must get to work...I work in a Hospital and they drivers who drop me there are also kind and friendly...My car is always ready when expectated and the free complimentary car wash always surprises me....I am a loyal customer now and send all my friends and family.

For the past year I have been scoping places to get a new car I visited a few places just to look and felt the people were very pushy and annoying. I was passing Toyota of Morristown and decided to go in and WOW i was impressed by the level of service. Walter was great! He was very patient, personable, knowledgeable and helpful in every way.. Bought a used Prius that seemed in good shape. The car had passed their certified inspection. Brought it home and then noticed it was missing 2 of the 3 rear seat head rests. We checked and this was not listed as missing on the paperwork. Seems like a safety issue for us and should have been picked up in their 200 point safety inspection. The Service Manager is working on the problem 7 months later.

As a longtime customer, I was interested in purchasing a new car. I got a fair price, good financing, top service coverage, insurance coverage, all in one contact and visit. I was given extra consideration because of my longtime relationship with dealership and service department. Mr. Baker was courteous, low key, knowledgeable and helpful in every way. He called me and followed up with any concerns I had. My test drive experience was not rushed and included both local and highway driving. Leased a 2012 Toyota Prius Plug in a year ago. Overall great deal on the car, but not before some interesting changes in paperwork where fees and first months charges kept reappearing. They were quickly rectified but frustrating. Great dealer and customer service for new car, however not much knowledge on the plug in Prius features. I needed to look up all features myself.Service has been great except for first maintenance where we sat there for 1 hour because they forgot to tell us it was ready.

These guys have kept our 1992 Previa with 275,000 miles on it running! Have gone beyond what was required when a battery cable failed and did a great job. A few communication problems between phone operator and service rep sometimes, but hopefully that'll be worked out. Love these guys!

I called to have a routine service. However, the day before had some very strange happenings with the (2006) PRIUS' transmission. Went "wacko". I described same and the techs couldn't find anything wrong or anything that came up on the computer...........I was told it was investigated and everything was OK.John came upstairs to get me when the work was completed. He explained everything to me and off I went.

The service dept of this dealership is excellent. My service rep was tom who was a pleasure to deal with. This trip I visited the showroom to see about a new vehicle. Nuccio Lisitano helped me. I gave him my info and he told me his manager said a deal was possible. I asked about a 2013 camry hybrid and an early termination of my current 2010 camry hybrid. He said he would call m e the next day. Needless to say I never received a call back from this individual. I don't know if a deal could not be made or the money was impossible to complete the deal. I called him 4 or 5 times and left messages on his voicemail but he would not return my calls. This experience left a very sour taste in my mouth.I don't know if he is still there but (I will never deal with him again

usually the haggling involved in buying/trading a car can be quite annoying. in this case, there was very little haggling involved. wei already had a price for the new 2013 prius c4 agreed upon, now it was coming to agreement on the trade in value of my 2011 scion tc. i had research from various sites to back me up for a trade in value of between 14-15500. they originally were offering 12k, when i said 14k and you have a deal, withing ten minutes we had a deal. the prius c was at dealer cost through a negoitated website, so if the dealer needs to make some money on the trade in, thats how they stay in business, so i think we were both satisfied with the outcome. i love my prius c4, was not crazy at all about the scion tc. the salesman at toyota, john docx was excellent and very easy to get along with. would definitely shop at morristown toyota again in the future

I recently went with my daughter to Toyota of Morristown and had the best experience imaginable. I couldn't believe I was in a car dealership. This Watson the heels of, a day earlier, the worst experience I ever had with Toyota of Caldwell. They did a classic bait and switch with a quoted price "out the door". Evidently they had no idea what this term meant bc they started piling over $1500 onto the quoted price. The experience left me livid and my dUghter in tears. At Toyota of Morristown I asked to speak directly with a sales manager as I didn't want to get tossed around from salesman to salesman to manager Like I was t Caldwelll Toyota. I was greeted warmly by the owner of Morristown Toyota and we quickly settled on a very fair and reasonable price for my daughter's 2013 RAV4. The salesman who drew up the paperwork was no less polite and helpful. Even the finance manager was super, and we wound up buying some add-ons at a nicely reduced price. Another young fellow even assembled my grandson's car seat and installed it in the new car. I couldn't have asked for a better experience at Toyota of Morristown -- forthright, honest, Sensitive and everything else that CLdwell Toyota wasn't. I will buy again from Tojyota of Morristown! As for Caldwell Toyota, they should be embarrassed and ashamed of their old fashioned get em in And screw em approach to sales.

I have shopped for and bought seven new vehicles from dealerships over the years. Usually it is a stressfull experience full of exaggeration, lies, and downright deception. It seems it is always a fight to get a fair deal. My experience at Morristiown Toyota was totally different. This was by far the best overall experience that I've ever had. I am positive that part of the reason was because of my salesperson Jim Demercurio. I never felt pressured to buy anything, my questions were all answered to my satisfaction, and the test rides i took were extensive and unrushed. Even though I was interested in some of the more budget priced Toyotas (Corollas, Matrixes and possibly the Yaris) , I was treated by Jim as if I was interested in a higher priced car. Jim literally took hours to make sure I was satisfied with my choice and the price I paid. I got what I considered a fair price for my trade-in as well with none of the usuall "monkey business". I have recommended Jim and Morristown Toyota to both friends and family members. I am hoping to have my new Corolla paid off in three years upon which I will be looking for a car for my wife. The first thing I will do is call Jim Demercurio at Morristown Toyota.

This is the best experience I've ever had at a car dealership. When I was car shopping, I dealt with slaesman after salesman and manager after manager. Their intrest in my life was fake and as shallow as my pockets. Jim helped me from step to step and had me out of there, ready to go, with the vehicle of my dreams! Brought a car that I was thinking about buying for inspection. Staff, especially Jennifer was very friendly and knowledgeable. The performed the inspection as requested and it took exactly the amount of time they said it would. The valet parking is great. Their price was almost 1/2 of what I was quoted from another dealership in Caldwell. I drove 15 minutes to get to Morristown Toyota even though the other dealership was only 2 minutes away. Great experience.

Alex Davis was extremely approachable, friendly and helpful. I feel that he went the extra mile in assisting me with my circumstances in obtaining a vehicle. He helped me get my car to a shop to put a special device that I needed on my car, and he delivered the car to my house for me. The only problem I had with Toyota of Morristown was when I purchased a warranty from Andre Mutone. I feel like he ran me in circles because I didn't know much about warranties and I left with a headache and feeling that I was a little ripped off.

Negotiated for a 2010 Rav4 Sport. They offered the vehicle at a price that they were firm on. We decided to not buy on that day to consider it. In meantime Hurricane Sandy hit and our area was badly effected. Internet manager kept calling asking to earn our business. Based on this we called the manager and said if the car was still available we would purchased at their offered price.he promised to call back. Approximately 10 minutes later we receive email from Internet manager stating that the car was available but they could not sell for the price previously agreed upon, saying that they could not accept our offer (actually the price was set by them not us) and that the car was now $1,000 more. Don't know why we didn't deserve at least a call back to be informed of this. Called the Internet manager about the change in price and he blamed it on a new store manager. We have owned several Toyotas which we purchased new, including a currently owned vehicle, and have always felt that we were treated fairly and honestly. Can't say the same for this dealership. Would certainly not recommend doing business with this dealership.

Jim greeted my wife and I with a smile and a handshake, and took plenty of time test-driving multiple cars with us. Jim did not talk at us the entire time, rather, he allowed us to just spend time driving the car and to get a feel for the vehicle. When we did have questions, he was happy to answer them. The try-before-you-buy experience was very relaxed and not rushed.Once we found the model that interested my wife and I, the three of us settled on a fair price for the new car, though our trade-in was priced a bit lower than what we had researched.Until we signed the papers with the financing manager, Jim was the only Toyota representative with which we worked. This was such a welcomed change from previous experiences with other brands where we would be sent from manager to manager while working on a price.Our overall experience with Jim D. at Morristown Toyota was positive and relaxed.

Salesperson worked very hard to put us in the vehicle we wanted to be in, but had trouble answering technical questions like how to set the audio system or explain mpg monitor. Many errors were made in the paperwork. I eventually filled out the purchase order myself. I got a good deal on the purchase price and trade-in value, but no one could (or would) answer questions during the negotiation process. The used car manager could (or would) not explain how they came up with the trade-in value other than to quote the name of a computer program that only dealers could use or look at.When we came back to pick up the new car, we waited over 1 1/2 hours before the finance person saw us, and this was a simple, paid-in-full cash sale. The excuse was that they were "busy" and that no other people were cross-trained to help during busy periods.

We have purchased many new cars and several previously owned vehicles from dealers over the past 40 years, but we can confidently say that Toyota of Morristown is number one hands down! They have written the book on customer service, helpfulness and just plain being nice! It takes just a few seconds to feel like home here. We bought at great certified RAV 4 at a great price with a great level of confidence and appreciation. Perhaps Toyota of Morristown\ should change the name of the dealership to "Cheers"--Why? simply because you feel at home there where everyone knows your name and cares about you!

i have owned at least seven cars all purchased new. this was the worst experiance ever. it took them two months to provide ny plates for the new vehicle. failure to return phone calls. if you get saleman Dave run to someone else. althought he was the source of problem; his boss anthony did nothing to take responsiblities for his stajj. i had to call the toyota customer service and threaten legal action.

I have been an owner of Toyota for 14 years. Toyota cars are excellent and I have no complaints, but this dealership Toyota of Morristown is just nothing but a nightmare. First, I was assigned to a service team who does not offer any service on weekends while I was working in NYC!! I complained, but I was told that I could not change the team?! With my second purchase of toyota, I finally was able to choose the team who serves on weekend. Second, I always have to leave a car even for an oil change. It takes more than a half day to complete the oil change. Third, I always ask them to give me a call as soon as the work is done. They never did. Every time I call them to check when I cannot wait any more as I have to pick up my kids from school, the car was always ready. I complained to Toyota Headquarter so many times, but they never fixed this problem. Despite that fact that I clearly said I would not want to talk to any one at Toyota of Morristown, but HQ always had a service manager of this dealer call me. He left a message, sounded very uninterested not concerned at all, so I just ignored it. Nothing changed for the last 14 years. It is just unbelievable. Lastly, when I did a major maintenance, it took them three hours to report me that a tire has a nail on it and with wear and tear, I had to replace all the four tires. I talked to my friends who has different brands and no one experienced this kind of bad service. I finally trade in my toyota and now I am a Honda owner.

Purchased a new 2011 RAV4. Jennifer was our primary contact but Chris was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Both were a pleasure to deal with. We went in with a competitive price from another dealer. They did not meet that price but they had the car we wanted and came close enough on price. It was the last day of the month which probably helped in this respect. We also ordered a dealer installed bluetooth system which was ready when we picked up the car the next day. I purchased a used 2010 Venza from Jen Outen in May 2011. Even though I experienced some "bumps" in the process, my experience with this dealorship ended positively. Here are the highlights of my experience:My Venza was competitively priced, and the sales team were very polite and friendly, however, responses to direct questions (via email) were at times slow or incomplete. (Example: I would ask 3 questions and 2 were answered.) I attributed this to them being busy.The dealorship stated this was an accident-free vehicle and was confirmed by CARFAX. Technically, that may be true, but upon inspection I noticed there had been some bodywork done around the right rear door handle that was not mentioned to me. When brought to their attention, it was explained that they had not noticed the area. I was disappointed in this response and ultimately we renegotiated terms to my satisfaction. Being an out-of-state buyer, I needed the titlework to be done in advance. As it turned out, the titlework was done prior to my arrival (for a fee) but it was filled out incorrectly. This was not discovered until I spent 2 hours at my local DMV. Fortunately, the correction was faxed me later that afternoon.My purchase included an additional smart key and a cargo mat. I was told I could pick up my smart key from my local dealership and the cargo mat would be mailed to me. Ultimately, I did receive both of these items, but did not get any follow up on the status until contacting Jim Kowalak (Parts & Service Director) and Michael Scimeme (Service Director.) Both of these gentlemen were very helpful.

Jennifer and Chris were very helpful and knowledgeable about the car we were interested in. Chris was thorough with information during the test drive and was willing to work with us to get the right car. However, the price was significantly higher than competitve models. Chris was able to explain why that was for them, which we appreciated, but the result was that we did not purchase.

Mr. Swan was very nice to us from the onset. When we first visited we were still shopping around and not ready to committ. David did not overly pressure us during the visit and he was very diligent in following up with us in the week following. When we experienced some difficulties that resulted in a delay in getting a new car, he was understanding.Along with the quality of the vehicles, this was the primary reason we returned to Toyota of Morristown when we got everything sorted out and were ready to invest in a new car.David and his manager did a great job of working with us to identify the best car for us that fit into our budget.

The entire experience was really great. I had no intention of purchasing a car that day, i was just looking. The salesperson did not try to pressure me or give me the old" What do I have to do to sell you a car today" routine. Third time I've used this dealership. This time, dropped off car for an overnight maintenance item and two repairs. Clearly stated that I had a Toyota extended warranty for additional repairs. Promised work would be done next day. Next day came and no call. Had to call to find out car was done, but no one could give me a price for work performed. Showed up, told car was done, and began signing work orders to discover the repair work was never touched. When asked, they said they didn't know I had an extendeded warranty. Why didn't they record that information from me when I told them? Why didn't they call to ask me if I wanted to go ahead with the repairs, at which point I would have mentioned, again, I had a warranty? Why would they tell me the work was done when it wasn't? I told them I would be fine with a shuttle ride home as long as the work would be done the next day. "No problem." Next day, I have to call to find out what is going on. They don't have the parts, but they will be in the next day. Ok, but now I'm on day three without a car. Next day comes and, again, I have to call late in the day to find out what is going on. "Parts arrived late. We might have the car ready by 7pm." No thanks, just have it ready by 10am tomorrow (day 5). "No problem." Final day, no call by 10am, but their phone system was down. Since I could not contact them, I got a ride from my wife to the dealership. The car was ready by noon, but no apology from anyone concerning the problems.

I had a great experience at Toyota of Morristown when I purchased my used 2008 Rav 4. The sales team was so easy to work with, and I got a great apr of 2.9%. It was truly the easiest car purchase I have ever made and I will continue to purchase all of my vehicles at this dealership. Very female friendly as well, which can be an issue at other dealerships when purchasing a car. Would highly recommend to everyone.

I was well used to Ridgedale Avenue, but my last two new cars to replace were my Olds 5 years back and then 2 weeks ago, my Pontiac (donated). Because of this/my model choice out of business luck, I passed & gave up on buying another domestic (that may also go away) and researched, decided upon and bought my first Toyota & also first Hybrid, a new Prius. I love it and it works great! Did most thru internet and Jen who hung in with me over weeks/month. Tim and Justo were also nice and helped me finalize and understand all to know with this type of vehicle I found that Toyota sells by far the most of. A very good overall experience, great facilitand people plus three follow up calls (or notes) in the 2 weeks. Yes all is well and I am pleased, so i think they earned and deserve a thanks from me. We've had a great relationship with this dealer, in particular with Geoff Snyder, the sales represenative. Geoff sold us our used 2008 Prius and we were really very happy with it. Although it had some minor discrepancies with respect to the mileage, we really loved the car and enjoyed driving it with no hassles and just the regular maintenance that was required. The issue arose when we had to sell the car due to the increase in the size of our family.We got a great offer from Route 22 Toyota, and took the time to take that offer back to Geoff and Morristown Toyota, as a courtesy to them, since they had sold us our first car and we were happy with their service center. On getting there I spoke with a manager and explained the situation, laying out all the facts. The manager was pretty candid, to his credit, and told me that he would probably not be able to match the price, but would be able to do something on the trade in we had (our 2008 Prius). We waited to speak with Geoff and when we gave him the facts he came back and told us that they couldn't match it and we should go to the Route 22 guys and buy the car...which we did.What I appreciated was the candor- they didn't try to hold us back and told us to get the deal from the other guys. If you're going to Morristown, ask for Geoff Snyder.

I entered Toyota to lease a car. theyve asked me to leave a check so that they could do credit application. never heard back for 9 days. then they said I was approved and asked me for an insurance at the car before they told me the price. I asked for numbers first and they urged me to come in. they gave me astronomical rates and when I enquired why and attempted to do calculations, they admitted they never checked my credit in the first place. worse, when I said I didnt want to do business with them anymore they said they did not have my check and I havent got it back ever since.

My husband and I visited Toyota of Morristown last evening to look at certified pre owned Highlanders. The salesperson, was unfriendly, condescending and rather reluctant to show us the vehicles we wanted to see. He finally did take us out for a test drive. Throughout, he kept insisting how all the vehicles were too expensive for us!! We were very rattled and upset by the end and we're not sure if we want to go back there again. We had a much better experience at Autoland on Rt. 22. One thing's for sure - we would NOT want to deal with sales rep Ryan again. He might be well served with a few coaching classes in people skills!

They registered my Toyota Prius incorrectly. Although I told them my car was tax exempt and the bill of sales included no sales tax, they paid sales tax on my car to the CT DMV (even though the car is tax exempt in CT). Then they lied saying I was supposed to have supplied a tax exempt form. According tot he CT DMV there is no such form. My boss bought a Toyota Prius from them and the from the same sales man, and he didn't supply any special form. When I bought the car they even confirmed that there should be no sales tax. They made a misstake and let me clean up their mess. It took almost 3 months to get a refund from the CT Department of Revenues and I spend $ and make several phone calls to get it all sorted out. Toyota of Morristown refused to take any responsibility or compensate me for their error. Further, the car was supposed to be registered in both my wife's and my name, and they only registered in my name.

I went to visit the dealer because I purchased a car from them before and am still very happy with it. Strange thing with this dealer they really are the stereotypical sly car dealer types. actually the first car I purchased from them David told me the car was taken by the manager and they had one in a different color. It did not matter to me because the color available was actually the color I wanted. After the haggling about the trade in price where they gave me only $1000.00 on my car that had a KBB value of $3500.00 and haggling to get the car they had available to close to the advertised price. I noticed when I went home he wrote the wrong mileage down on the car. he wrote the mileage for the car I originally went in to see. I called him about it and he said don't worry about it just bring the paperwork back and he will adjust it. I figured that it was just an error so I went back and had it taken care of. I have not had any problems with the car and still like it as much as I did when I purchased it two years ago. So I decided to go back to them. What a mistake! My wife has been looking around for a larger car for a few months now. we have been to a few dealers and know that we can get $13,500 on our trade in. That is what KBB says it is. Three dealers I have seen so far have told me that they would give that to me for it. Unfortunately the cars they had in stock were a little more than I wanted to spend. So I checked the website and found something in the price range I wanted to be in. I used their online trade in tool and it came back with $11,500.00 as the trade in value. I did the same thing with the care they had listed on the website for $26,995.00. The car came back as a trade in value of $21,000. I called David the sales person I purchased the first car from and he told me "Yes, we do have some room to negotiate on this car" I went in, my wife took it for a test drive and liked it. There was quite a bit of damage to the car that is not in the pictures on the website so he agreed that they would be fixed if I purchased the car. This is when we went in to negotiate price. He first tells me that the trade in price on my car is $8,000.00 and I pointed out that I did it on KBB that was $13,500 and their website came back with $11,500.00. He then tells me that the car I was interested in has a trade in value of $23,995.00. I asked him to show me and he pulls out a Galves guide (The Wholesale guide) and told me the $8,000 is what the would be able to wholesale it for because they do not want to have a non-Toyota on their lot. However if you look at their website they sell plenty of other manufacturers as certified used. Then I asked him to show me the car I was interested in in the same guide. He did and it was listed for $19,500.00 and then he proceeded to ad in all of the options as separate line items. i asked him to see the book and it specifically had in prentices that the model I was looking at was excluded from these options because they were standard. After that I asked him to talk to the person that makes the decisions and see if my offer of 11,000.00 and my trade would work or not because that is all I wanted to spend. Just then another sales guy comes over (I did not mention this before but this is the same sales guy he was with to look at our trade in while we waited at his desk.) so the other sales guy comes over and asks for the keys to the car I was looking at saying "They are really interested in this one". like that is going to make me spend $5,000.00 more than I should. david comes back from "talking to his manager" and tells me that we were off at least $5,000.00 so we thanked him and left. This place is really bad news !!

Went though a car buying service and received the name of the internet manager : Jeremiah Tobin. Spoke to him, he confirmed they would honor the price received through the email and asked to meet with David Ramirez who called and scheduled time. David also confirmed they would honor the price.Once we got there, they said the email and paper it was printed on, would not be honored. Jacked up the price significantly, would not even show us the car till we got up to leave after an hour and the manager came in to talk.Tried to constantly confuse us with numbers and options. I may have bought a Toyota this time (from another dealer) but am done dealing with this company for the rest of my life.

Sue is head of the yellow team, and she has looked out for me for years. She will not try to oversell you on maintenance (like the periodic mileage checkup money makers) and will really try to save you money. Sue is one of the reasons why I'd come back here to buy another Toyota.
